Personality: Kage is a very gentle and polite boy. He likes to help everyone as best as he can even though he's a bit clumsy and therefore, his attempts to help others often lead to many troublesome consequences. He's shy at first but quickly warms up with others as time goes on. He doesn't like to harm any other beings and this is the reason that leads to the conflict between him and his demon family.
Even though Kage is a very good boy, he's very dependent and almost has to have someone to hold his hands and tell him what to do. He's also clueless when it comes to deal with emotions. Yes, he will know if he has a crush on someone but if someone has a crush on him, he will spend months trying to find out why they look at him funny except when they yell it to his face, of course.
Human history Kage has a very normal life. With normal parents, not too much money but not too little, either. He has what he needs, no more and no less. He goes to school, makes normal friends, being in the background while still trying to help as many people as he can. That's what life is to Kage - a normal life. And he is content with it.
