Physical Description
Ruzik is a tall young lad who carries a trim and rather athletic build that although seemingly active he does not animate himself much, unless it is for something good and extremely rewarding. His hair is short and stylish, baring a rather bright shade of red. His eyes however are rather unique in appearance, being of a light yellow-green mix that he has had since birth. Additionally, he has oddly shaped teeth that have been best described as similar to 'shark teeth'. Most of the time he dresses quite fashionably and smartly, always with glasses, and a times he can come across as slightly feminine. He puts effort into his appearance and likes to impress others.

"Yes, yes. The teeth are real, and yes, they will bite you - and it will hurt. Ok?"

Abilties | Powers
Heart’s Desire | Ruzik has the power to grant whatever 'the heart wants'. This ability is limitless in itself as he can summon forth just about anything within reason – meaning he isn’t going to suddenly summon a whole city right before you, but objects, weapons, information and status effects are all considered reasonable. He is limited to only granting three requests at a time and must allow adequate recovery time in between. Should someone persist in pressuring the demon into granting more requests then there will be notable side-effects as his mind becomes ‘overloaded’. This is affective with both mages and demon and he can use it on himself too!

"What the heart wants, it gets. At least if your nice to me of course ~"
Heightened physicality | Ruzik has advanced speed and strength. He in turn does not feel pain as instantly as others would do when injured and thus he can take on more damage and last longer in fights. The down side to this though, is that eventually the pain does catch up to his senses and hurts twice as bad long after the encounter. Although should an attack prove fatal then he would actually die upon getting hit.
"Sometimes I forget, and only after the fight does it hit me - hard."
Heart Chat | Ruzik has the ability to control a person’s heart and alter their actions and thoughts. This ability stems from his natural gift to sense out hearts, which also allows the demon to ‘hear’ hearts – as if they talk only to him. Through this he is able to ‘whisper’ ideas of what the victim should do, rather than what they were going to do, and thereby altering their thought process. This power lasts for only so long, and it helps if a person is weakened whilst attempting this as it makes the target more vulnerable and persuasive. This ability is affective against mages and demons - though is stronger against demons.
"Quite nifty, eh? If I do say so myself."

History
Ruzik doesn't enjoy lingering on the past, and yet to know his tale that is where you'd have to begin. If you did, then you would learn the story of Ruzik, the demon that stole hearts and left broken humans in his wake. A demon that could rip hearts apart, abandoned and truly broken into pieces. That demon was called Ruzik, the accidentally conceived child of an Incubus and a Succubus, who had both mistaken one other for a human one night as they ventured through a lone human town - a night which would eventually lead to the birth of Ruzik. His existence was by mere accident and chance of opportunity, and not long after entering the world his parents left him shortly after and never spoke to the boy ever again.

As a child he was left to wander the world, born with an unsatisfiable lust for hearts and to consume them greedily. Though as a child, and unable to acquire hearts, he was very near the end of his life as it came to be apparent that he needed hearts to survive – simply, he fed off them. Unlike his parents who had always lusted for the affections of the heart, he merely lusted for the heart itself. During his youth he was found by a mage and taken in by the old man, who in time supplied the demon with animal hearts to fend off his hunger. Over the course of the time he lived with the mage Ruzik learned many things about humans; how they dressed, spoke and adapted to many of their ways of living for the sake of keeping a low profile. But this way of life didn’t last long.

Ruzik began acting up, protesting, and sneaking out at night to stalk humans whose hearts he sensed nearby. As he grew older his urge for hearts developed increasingly, to the point that it was only inevitable that he made his first killing. Enraged, the mage threw Ruzik out and abandoned the demon, having nothing else to do with the boy ever again. This action alone would soon lead to the slaughtering of many humans in the maddening endless search that Ruzik would go on for the ‘perfect heart’. He would kill many, consuming their hearts and yet never feeling satisfied.

In time it was only expected that he would turn into his parents, though only with a murderous twist. He would entice people in, rob them of their hearts and then dump them to the side. It was a savage hunger that controlled him, one that would lead him to further trouble, along the lines of The Survival Kit Academy. One night whilst trying to jump a group of mages Ruzik was unaware that it was a trap to capture him, and blindly he walked right into it, and was immediately sent to the academy. That is where the demon finds himself now. But what will he do now that he is surrounded by hearts, mages and demons?

"Well who needs parents and mages anyway I guess."

Other
~ Heart Snatcher ~
Though as a child Ruzik needed hearts to survive, now that he is older, the demon has learned to survive longer whilst consuming fewer hearts and by experimenting through other methods to control his hunger. Especially as he is now at the academy and must find various ways to feed his urge without causing harm to others.

"Apparently because it would cause harm to the student body and I must not endanger anyone."

So begins...

Ruzik gave a nod to the two girls to confirm he wasn’t joining them, though surprisingly both the mage and rabbit wanted his company which caused a small smile to form on his lips. ”You two go on ahead and if I feel up to it then
maybe I’ll come find you, since you’re so eager to have me with you.” He told the mage somewhat teasingly and then watched the young girl heading for the door, soon taking her leave. Redirecting his gaze onto Kou afterwards, the demon slid off the bed and took hold of the lollipop she had placed out for him and walked up to her. ”Fine, fine, if I need anything I’ll come find you, I swear. Don’t worry so much.”

Wrapping his arms around her, he stole a quick hug from the rabbit as he held Kou close to him for a minute or so. It was merely to reassure the girl that he would seek her should he need the rabbit, since Ruzik wasn’t exactly the best keeper of promises and Kou knew that, but he would at least try for her sake. ”Now go, I’ll see you soon.” Releasing her, he moved to the side to let Kou pass and quickly unwrapped and stuck the lollipop in his mouth. ”Don’t worry I won’t cause any trouble while you’re gone, you can trust me, you know.”

Standing there he waited for the rabbit to leave and follow on after their mage, giving her a warm smile as Ruzik leaned against the drawers and crossed his arms. He waited until Kou was out of the room before moving himself, listening behind the door to ensure both girls were perfectly gone before he slowly opened the door and quietly let himself out. Suspicious perhaps, but the incubus instinctively felt the urge to sneak out whilst the girls were gone. His initial thoughts being that of bad things that he would inevitably do, however the notion quickly past and the demon was left standing in the hall feeling a little uncertain of himself. Unsurprisingly it was in his nature to be bad and do wicked things, but what Ruzik had learned only some time ago was that his sense of fun was not quite like everyone else's. Was that why others didn’t like him?

It was certainly a strong possibility, and the incubus did feel a degree of guilt towards how he had treated his mage. The poor girl had only said she had never been kissed by a boy, and yet the incubus felt the instinct to react in what he would have considered an appropriate way. But clearly he was wrong. Walking down the hallway somewhat aimlessly at first Ruzik eventually settled on a course of action, perhaps joining his teammates sooner or later, however something sparked in his mind that compelled the demon to act upon it. He was looking for someone, a mage. One who owed him an apology, but if the redhead was to truly better himself, and prove himself to Kou, he would need to tend to some loose ends and mend any issues affecting him, primarily regarding those who hated him.

Walking around the academy the demon was in search of Liliane. He didn’t know where she was however, she could have been in the infirmary, her dorm, or anywhere. It was rather troublesome to say the least and Ruzik had asked countless figures if they had seen the mage, to which gradually but surely lead him in the right direction. Soon enough he found the girl on her own, though for how long that would last the incubus wasn’t sure. That lousy woman would likely appear soon enough and come running to the girls defense, whatever her name was. Rayne, or something.

”Liliane,” He called to gain the girls attention. He didn’t care what she was doing or if he was bothering her, but he wanted to talk and that was what he would do. ”I’d like to make amends with you, for earlier. I may have acted inappropriately towards you
so I’m just here to apologize.” Forcing a smile the incubus approached the mage and took a few steps closer to her, though still maintained some distance between them. ”You almost killed me and rightly I should despise you, which I sort-of do. However, similarly it’s not often I meet someone who’s came that close to ending my life, so I guess what I’m trying to say
 in some way
is that I know now that I was maybe pushing some boundaries with you. For that, I'm sorry.”

Tilting his head to the side he looked to the mage-girl rather curiously. Whether she believed it or not the demon meant no harm to her, thus his rather cautious nature towards the girl. ”In all honesty I’m trying to build bridges, you could say. I’d rather not start any trouble with you and instead, I guess, get along with you in some way. Which is also why I’m here,” Pausing for a moment the incubus thought over his words carefully, figuring out how to word his intentions exactly. ”I'd like it if we hanged out and showed the teachers we can get along. I also have a new mage you see, a young girl about your age I imagine. I think you'd get along with her, and I think it would do her good to be surrounded by others who weren't like... myself. Maybe you could get to know her a bit, that sort of thing. Maybe even give her tips on how to handle me since you seem so good at it, heh.”

Despite his innocent enough request, the demon always had some form of ulterior motive behind everything he did. This was no exception either, though Ruzik did wish good things for Momoko it was not his exact goal to achieve, so to say. ”She should be heading for the cafeteria about now with Kou, I’ll be going there soon enough. So, what do you say? Do this for me and I won’t have a reason to bother you anymore, in fact I may even return the favour and do something for you if you'd like? I'm trying to be reasonable with you, even though your reasons for hating me are beyond my knowledge. We don't have to be friends Liliane, but we can tolerate each other if we help one another out, right?”

Cleo Gardenia

Image

Cleo smiled to the young mage who approached her, the boy being Laurence who she had met before in the infirmary. ”Yeah I guess, though it’s great to see you made it here too.” It was just the two of them there for now, as well as the Headmaster. At least it was a small chance to get to know some of the others better before things kicked off, so she’d enjoy her time with Laurence for now. ”I hear you got a big part to play in the mission tonight, are you excited?” She asked with a slight purr, shifting herself over closer to the boy. He had crossed his arms and looked a bit cold, so Cleo instinctively wrapped an arm round his shoulders and pulled him a little closer to her to give the mage more heat. ”It’s a little chilly tonight so we best stick together, you look cold.”

"I'll be there in one minute," Kou told Momoko as the mage practically ran out the door. She wondered if the female could find her way on her own to the cafeteria then thought better of it and realized she should probably catch up to ensure the human did not get lost. Just when Kou was about to leave Ruzik hugged her tightly and for a moment she wondered if he did not want her to go. Then he promised to meet them in there and that he would stay out of trouble and come to her if he needed anything. Kou smiled, satisfied with this answer and turned to exit. "See you later then," Kou said and ran to catch up with their mage who had since disappeared.

The rabbit caught up to the girl in no time and listened to the human's question. "He'll be fine," Kou said it more to herself because she hoped this would be true. Ruzik always seemed to bounce back, nothing could really keep that boy down. She looked up only to see that Momoko was no longer in her sights. Kou sighed and ran a hand through her blue hair, shaking her head and walking a bit faster. Where had Momoko gone? She hadn't gone down a hallway when Kou was spacing out had she? Thankfully the rabbit turned the corner and spotted Momoko once more.

Kou picked up her pace, attempting to keep the mage in her sights. She shook her head at the comment Momoko made, an ear flopping over one of her eyes. "Ruzik doesn't eat normal food, he likes lollipops but that's about it." Kou wondered if they ever served hearts in the cafeteria. Obviously not human ones, but would animal hearts satiate his constant hunger? The demon wondered and took the lead, guiding Momoko through a maze of hallways until they reached the double doors that signified they were at the entrance of the cafeteria.

"Here we are," Kou held the door open for the girl and went inside. The place was empty save for a few souls studying to themselves at various tables. Kou headed up to the line and grabbed a tray, wondering what she had a hankering for. The demon tilted her head, pushing her fallen ear back up and looking at the array of food. She wasn't that hungry and so the rabbit settled for a parfait and a cup of tea. "So you said before you don't eat a lot of meat, do you not like the taste or is there a different reason?" Kou asked, waiting for Momoko to make her selection so that they could sit down.

Liliane was taken aback by the Headmaster's outburst. She didn't expect someone of high authority to lose their composure like he had. Shortly after he left Etelka left as well saying she really didn't want any help at all. If the demon didn't want any help then it had nothing to do with Liliane. The demon wouldn't be her problem when danger came. Even Sarah left while muttering her sudden dislike for Memphis. Everyone else had left already so Liliane closed her eyes and let out a sigh. It was quiet despite being at a large school being well populated. But the quietness was suddenly interrupted by a voice Liliane had learned to hate. He said he wanted to apologize despite the hard feelings between the two. When he suggested the two "hang out" Lili's eyes widened. Hang out with the enemy? That would be like her mother's killer asking to go and hang out at the movies and do some bowling. Then he mentioned the new mage. Liliane hadn't seen the person yet but Ruzik suggest they get to know each other.

"I'll go but this is extremely suspicious. I don't trust you as far as i can, literally, throw you if I had the strength of a gerbil. I will not take your offer. I don't negotiate or make deals with demons." Liliane went to stand behind Ruzik. "I'll let you lead the way. If you make a move I don't like then you will know what it's like to have your neck snapped quickly." Ruzik wanted to be on better terms with Liliane but the mage didn't buy it. It was only this morning that he threatened her. And it was to do things with her body. No way was she letting that slide by like it didn't happen. Liliane was very protective of her body and broke the fingers of the last person to touch the girl against her wishes.

"I expect you to hold your word about not bothering me after I see your mage. In the meantime I expect you to keep at least three arms length away from me at all times. You are correct in assume I have a deep hatred for you and your kind. So i hope you don't give me a reason to release any of it." Liliane wasn't the type of person to issue out so many threats before. She wondered if it was her anger getting the best of her. The girl didn't know if threats were exactly the best approach but she hoped Ruzik at least now knew what it was like for Lili when she had tried to apologize to him that morning. The two made their way towards the cafeteria with Liliane remaining several paces behind the demon.

"Please, don't leave me alone..."

Midora opened his eyes and found himself in the middle of a world of whiteness. He looks around, only to find that no one, or nothing can be found there, but himself. A complete void of nothingness. It reminds him of the isolation, the coldness, the discrimination that he once has to endured. But at that moment, something tells him to keep moving forward. Without a second thought, Midora began to run and run into the endless boundary that even him couldn't tell where would he stopped. He keeps running, but to no avail, the only thing that he could found is the silent, yet cruel whiteness around him without a soul to be found. Is it truly what has been fated for him to be? Lonely, being treated like a monster for his whole life? Keep moving forwards without any real purposes for him to live in this world? Such questions keep spinning around his head like a lullaby. He wanted it to stop, but it could only haunted him as he ran, ran until his feet couldn't get more fatigue.

"...the only person whom I love with all my heart, since long ago, up til the present and for the rest of eternity..."

As Midora runs, he finally saw a silhouette of a man at the end of his road. The familiar silhouette that has never once escaped his mind. The strong, independent, yet caring and gentle person whom he once devoted all of his soul, all of his mind, all of his sincerest love for. And slowly, Midora can saw that person's back in the distance. As he's getting closer to the young man minutes by minutes, the familiar figure quietly turned his back to face Midora with a gentle smile on his face. Midora couldn't be happier. As he continued on his run, he can clearly felt tears streaming down on his face as his lips formed into a bright smile. The once innocent smile that has been tainted by the dust of this twisted world. The smile that none shall ever see again.

"...the person whom I've killed by these very hands..."

When Midora has almost reached the young man, the latter raised his arm towards him, in which Midora also raised his arm to the man he loved the most. But just as their hands meet, the world shattered into pieces around them, turned into an area within a town. The buildings in the area had been destroyed, not a single living beings were found, the atmosphere was stained with the smell of thick smog and burning as ashes covered the ground. The once lively part of a town now has been turned into nothing more than a lifeless ruin. Midora once again looked around him in shock. Everything was so vivid, as if he was living in his own flashback and sees everything by his own eyes. But when he turned his face back to the man, he was even more shocked and glanced in horror as he was stabbing the young man with a Dark Matter formed blade. His hands were stained with blood, his eyes were crimson red. The gaze in the man's eyes were no longer gentle or caring, it is now only a lifeless void. Everything is a chaos.

"...until the day we reunite again, I will carry on your burden. I offered myself as a sacrificing lamb to the dark, so that it will never got a chance to destroy this world..."
.
While Midora hasn't get over his shock yet, the man suddenly withered into ashes and flew away with the wind. And what Midora can see after that is another man who looked exactly the same like the person whom he loved. But his eyes were also crimson red like him with the symbol of an infinity on his irises. On his lips, Midora can find a cruel, sadistic smirk. The person standing in front of him isn't his beloved Sensei. It was someone else who is much more dangerous with powers that far surpassed what Midora could ever fathom. He disguises himself as the one whom he loved the most. Before even knowing it, that person summoned thousands of chain that sprung out from the dark and firmly gripped Midora in a crucifix style. Trying to struggle as he would, Midora couldn't even move an inch. But Midora was surprised on how he managed to stay calm even in a situation like this with a determine gleam in his eyes as that person walked towards him, still with the sadistic smirk. He could only shut his eyes and weakly resisted as the person in front of him gripped his chin as he moved his face closer to Midora's. It was then that their lips were sealed together...

"...until the day when this body return to ashes, I will keep on fighting this ever-lasting battle."

Midora sat up on his bed as he widened his eyes with a shocking expression on his face as he gasped. He looked around and let out a quiet sigh of relief when he found out that he is still in his room. It was just a dream... Holding his own hand in front of his face, a mild purple light radiated from it for a short moment. This indicates that his strength has totally recovered. When he turned to the drawer next to his bedpost, he saw the white picture frame. Inside was a picture of a young, brown-haired man who was smiling so brightly as if he was smiling with Midora even when he wasn't here. Reached out his hand to took it, Midora smiled lightly as his fingers gently caressing the face of the person in the picture. For a short moment, memories of a happiness time that he once has returned to him. He felt as if the warm that he always been longing for has came back, embracing him. For a short moment, he can truly felt that he can stood up alone all odds.

But, those moments were short-lived. Midora widened his eyes a bit as he saw some drops of water began to fall on the glass surface of the picture frame. His cheeks felt wet as endless streams of tears began to fall from his eyes. After all, Dark Mages had to suppress all of their negative emotions and remain calm all the time if they don't want to go berserk, but because of that, those emotions keep piling up inside them. With just a small trigger, they'd lost control and began to show emotions that they always trying to hide from the others. In Midora's case, it is the feeling of guilt, sorrow, sadness and loneliness that has been haunted him over the past 10 years. He tries his best to stop the tears from falling, but to no avail. He hates moments like this. He hates it when the painful memories that he's tried so much to forget keep following him.

Being abandoned by his own parents. Being humiliated by the village that he used to care for. Being backstabbed by so many people whom he once believed. Having to do so many terrible things to survive. Being discriminated, isolated and tortured. Never can find sympathy. Never being loved by anyone. These are the very proofs of what a Dark Mage like him has to gone through. Sometimes, Midora questioned the purpose of his own existence in this life. He has to suffered and endured so much pain to feel anything else now. His heart has hardened and shall never be able to find the light again. Only one person has loved him, treasured him and helped him felt the beauty of this world and he has also loved him back with all of his body and mind. But, that person came, lighten up his life only to be killed by Midora's two hands for the sake of the world that has treated him with nothing but pain. It took him a long while to be able to get back on a right track, but those feelings keep traumatizing him until now. He couldn't trust anyone again, except for the person who has traveled with him his whole life, Mikari.

Midora calms himself and swept away his tears as his expression returned to its usual blank state. I need a shower... Gently put the frame back to where it was, he stood up and went into the bathroom.

Dark has already fallen and the time for the mission is fast approaching them. Midora was in the garden, sitting on his usual rock and meditates, quietly waiting for the announcement from his boss. The night breeze slowly blew as the whole campus now has turned so quiet as the students have all returned to their dorm. This is the reason why he enjoys immersing himself in the dark so much. He don't have to care about anything anymore and he can just silently retreated into his own world.

Moments later, the Headmaster's voice boomed through the school's interior, reminding the students that were tasked to arrive at the entrance. It's time. Midora thought as he opened his eyes and stood up then made his way to the entrance. Upon arriving there, he saw that Memphis, Cleo and Laurence had arrived, thus making him the fourth one to turn up. Giving his boss a brisk nod as a greeting, he stood next to him quietly and waited until the rest of them have arrived. He was thinking about the tactics that they're going to use against the ultra-class monster and how will both him and Memphis co-operate with Isolde, the Sage of Water. As a matter of fact, he knows the members of the second generation of the Sages well because he himself was also a Sage, anyway and they're all friends before parting into different directions. I wonder if she's still doing fine. He thought then gazing up to the sky, observing the shining stars.

In the meanwhile, Mikari was lying on his bed with his head rested against his hand. He was watching his favorite TV shows while eating away a packet of crisp, lazily. He yawned. A group of second year students went out to have a barbecue and they invited him to come along, which he almost accepted if it wasn't for the Headmaster to has given him the task of watching after the Academy while he and his oh-so-adorable Dora-chin was away on a mission. And Mikari could have almost assured that the Demon are doubting his and Ms. Sarah's abilities. Although he respected him, this is of course a nuisance for someone who is so proud of his title. He has set up his shadows around the school and not a single fly would be able to escape his vision so why so worry? I'll show him what I can do.

Turning off the TV, he sat up and stretched his arms then took his phone and looked at the time. It's not very late so he figures that he should go and do some patrolling although his shadows are doing a fine job already. Come to think of it, he hasn't check on how Ruzik was doing yet so he can go and bother his favorite Incubus instead. Some of the remaining students are still up anyway so Mikari can go on a check how they were doing. He has to see what his new Mage is like too.

Making his way out of the room, he headed for the cafeteria. On his way, he saw that Ruzik and Liliane were walking together, much to his surprise. But it seemed that they aren't going to kill each other off now so Mikari can rest a bit. "Hey, kiddos." He spoke up to gain their attention as he approached them with his hands casually entwined behind his nape. He's trying to shortened the distance between the students and teachers, as always. Why with all the boundaries, anyway? "Mind if I walk with you two?"

It didn't surprise Ruzik that the mage was wary of him, given how the day had progressed it was unlikely that Liliane was going to accept him with open arms. But still, at least he was making an effort. Albeit he was rude earlier the incubus was now attempting to overlook their previous encounters and start anew. "I was only wanting to spend some time with you, I wasn't trying to imply anything else," He said and smiled towards the girl as she passed him. "I don't want your body so you can relax, I was only trying to have some fun with you this morning. Besides you bet me anyway, shouldn't that be enough to make you happy?"

Rolling his eyes a little the demon turned round to face the mage. He had gotten fairly use to having threats made against him since coming to the academy, and yet just now despite what Liliane had said the incubus appeared unfazed by it. Whether she lived up to her words or not, he didn't really care during that moment. "Of course I'll hold my word, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it if I never planned on keeping to it." Grinning a little, he spoke his words in a light teasing manner before the pair began to head for the cafeteria. Ruzik taking the lead, he guided the girl towards their desired location though on the way there the two students ran into Mikari.

Without even greeting the man the incubus remarked, ”I’m not a kid, Mikari. You should know that by now.” Playfully pouting to the mage, Ruzik clasped his hands behind his back and looked sweetly up the blue-haired man. ”Don’t worry we’re not going to kill each other just yet, we’re actually going to the cafeteria. Oh, and have you heard? We got a new mage, again. Don’t scare this one off.” As to why their group seemed to go through mages at an unhealthy rate, it was probably best to try and hold onto this new one for as long as they could. ”Sure, whatever. Your life must be pretty boring old man if you’ve got nothing better to do than tag-along with us.”

Continuing onward, the redhead lead the small group through the remaining few hallways before reaching the cafeteria. "Here we are little mage," He said and turned to look at Liliane once stepping into the cafeteria. Raising a hand he pointed to the blonde girl that accompanied Kou at a table, though whether they noticed him he couldn't tell. "That one, the blonde girl in the kimono. I want you to be her friend and make her feel welcome, sounds simple enough, right? Do that and I will not cause you any more trouble from now on. I'll keep to my word I can assure you, Lili." Grinning once more to the mage he then raised a hand and patted her head, quickly forcing a sweet smile before turning his focus onto Mikari.

”Don’t worry I’m not plotting anything bad Mikari,” He reassured the teacher and crossed his arms against his chest, still maintaining his smile towards the man. ”Anyway, I’ve been quite good, more or less. I’ll be expecting a reward at some point you know, say, maybe some of my power? Or, I’d also happily take some more of that stuff you gave me to satisfy my hunger, I really liked it.”

His attention was distracted at that moment as he spotted Etelka eating alone by a table, just the sight of her fuelling a deep feeling of despite within the incubus however oddly enough he chose to ignore it. Where had hatred got him so far? It was pointless furthering whatever petty issues he had with the girl, but he would never forget the threat she had made towards Kou. If anything, that was his only reason for disliking Etelka and yet when watching the demon eating alone he couldn't help but feel... sorry for her.

"I’ll be back in a minute." Having already told Liliane what he wished of her, and even pointing out his own mage, Ruzik felt he could leave Liliane on her own as he walked through the room and then sat himself down at the table where Etelka was already seated at. Like with the mage, this demon also would probably not appreciate his presence near her but Ruzik didn't care. However, with Mikari nearby it forced the incubus to behave somewhat as the man would likely be watching him. "Hey Etelka, don't worry I'm not here to cause trouble with you," He greeted the girl, although for once he didn't try to display any sense of forced happiness or displeasure to the girl, and instead gave her a rather blank expression of some sort.

Etelka wasn't that stupid, she'd see through any fake attempt he made and so the incubus would treat her respectably and be frankly open with her. "You look lonely, you should join them," He said and looked over to where Kou and Momoko sat before gazing back to the demon. "Kou views you as a friend and it looks like you could use one, despite what you said earlier I now know you wouldn't do anything to hurt her, since I also know you'd much rather hurt me instead. I’d be willing to even allow you to do just that to me, if it meant leaving Kou unharmed. Would that persuade you, Etelka? Hurt me and spare Kou, would that suit you? "

Grinning slightly, he rested his elbows against the table and leaned over closer to the girl. ”I want our issues to stop, I can’t be bothered with this anymore. I want to make amends and settle our differences, since we seemingly got off on the wrong foot yesterday. So, my offer still stands. You can have me if you leave Kou unhurt, torture me instead and I won’t even complain. I’m ready whenever you are.”

Getting up from his seat he remained leaning over the table and had his hands against it, propping himself up as he leaned in closer to the girl with a slight smirk. "It’s your choice, Etelka." He teased in a slight whispered, perhaps even seductively as he winked at her and flashed his sharky-teeth. ”What do you say? Do you want to make me scream? Make me cry?
Watch me beg for mercy? My powers are sealed for now, so I'll feel every ounce of pain forced upon me. However, you can say no if you wish, either way I want us to cease our displeasure's and try to get along. I'll do anything to create peace between us.”

The mage's reason for not eating meat was valid enough and so Kou nodded her head to it and picked up her spoon, digging to the bottom of the parfait to retrieve a plump red strawberry. "No, it's just that I don't particularly like meat eaters.... Or humans." It wasn't fair of Kou to judge someone based on what they ate, but she felt it was justified because of her past. Kou put her spoon down and picked up the cup of tea. The scent was rather bland, but she wasn't in the mood for flavorful things. "Fruits and vegetables are great though, I love carrots." Kou smiled and placed her cup back on the tray after taking a sip.

"It's not rude at all," today was probably the third time Kou had answered that question. She didn't mind though, speaking about her past kept the fire in her burning. "I was originally a rabbit, then Tsukuyomi found me and turned me into a human. I didn't have ears and a tail though, I was completely normal but I turned into a demon after a few humans killed my family." Kou thought about it for a moment before answering her other questions.

"My ears are very sensitive, the only person allowed to touch them really is me. My tail is more of a sensual spot," the rabbit scratched behind one of her ears, a light blush coming across her face as she thought of Ruzik running his fingers through her tail this morning. "But I don't mind it when people touch my head, actually I kind of enjoy getting pet or scratched behind the ears. I don't usually tell people that though, it makes them act all weird and condescending as if they're patting their little siblings head." Kou paused, "But you seem nice enough that you wouldn't do that."

The door to the cafeteria opened once more and Kou turned to see Ruzik, Lili, and Mikari entering. Her eyes nearly bugged out of her head upon seeing the mage and incubus talking in what seemed like in a civil manner. Kou waved them over but Ruzik broke off from the group and went over to sit with Etelka. Oh well, maybe he was mad at her for yelling at him? Kou hoped not. She returned her attention to Momoko and asked, "So where in Japan are you from? Or do you just wear yukata for the fun of it?" They were so flowery and pretty, Kou always wished she could adorn herself in something so lovely and soft.

Muse felt as though her cheeks became redder with every comment Venom made. She really had never thought of herself as pretty, more as a hideous beast with claws and horns that no one would dare try to get close to. Had she really been a vicious beast at one point? Muse wished she knew. "Well I'd love to see it when you're finished. Maybe if we complete the assignment fast enough we'll get some free time in the town?" Muse wondered aloud after making her comment.

They parted ways once they reached the group. Venom went to her mage and Muse stood awkwardly to the side, hoping that Hive would come speak with her so that she would at least not appear so damn lonely. He was obviously busy with the cat girl though and so Muse crossed her arms, wondering if Memphis would take the seal off before they left or once they reached the battle ground.

Etelka sighed and set down her utensils as the shark came to interrupt her meal. It was cumbersome to tolerate such a nuisance; however she hardly wished to pick a fight right now. She sat quietly and gazed blandly as the demon talked, chuckling and smirking at him when he offered to let her torture him. Although he was right, she wouldn't hurt the rabbit, that would just lead to the shark attacking her or the master. If she wanted him to stop being a nuisance hurting him would be far more practical, it is much harder to strike back when you are broken.

"I will not hurt Ms. Kou for I have very little to gain from that, and I cannot accept your offer right now. For one I have no place to torture you that we would not be heard and stopped and I would rather not be punished. Secondly you seem to underestimate how much I enjoy it, you probably wouldn't survive if I actually got into it, no one else has." Etelka sighed, she would love to kill him but it was simply not a good idea. As he had leaned close to her she leaned closer to Ruzik and looked him in the eyes.

"Leave my master alone and I shall leave you alone, was that not the parameters I set in the first place?" Leaning back away from him Etelka looked towards Kou and the mage she was eating with, "as for my loneliness you are apparently concerned about, I am used to solitude. Friends are not something I understand, nor something I need. If Kou really thought of me as an ally do you not think she would have noticed me before the one I hate?"

The girl shooed the demon with one hand and grabbed her utensils with the other. "Now leave me be demon, I wish to eat my food. If you want peace with me you need to make peace with my master," for not at least Ruzik could not make Etelka hate him less. He might not have understood the severity of hurting her master, but she took it worse than any wound he could have afflicted to her. He would need to reconcile with a man he could not talk to right now to earn her fickle trust, for now she went back to eating.

Laurence Snow

Laurence almost jumped a little as a voice suddenly spoke behind him, which he recognized to be Venom which signified that she had arrived. Turning to look at her the boy offered a smile to the redhead. ”Be nice Venom, we’re just trying to keep warm.” He told the demon and crossed his arms, before grinning just slightly. ”I never knew you were so protective of me, it’s kind of adorable. Such a sweet demon you are, Venny.”

Before he could make any further remarks another voice chirped in, gaining the boys interest thought not in a good way. With a slight reddened face he looked to the demon that had spoke to him earlier in class. ”H-Hey! I’m not a puppy! At the very least I’d be a Dog!” He stated in response, somewhat missing the point of what the blonde demon was getting at. With a slight pout, the mage tried to regain his calmness and ignore what else the demon had said. By that point the blonde boy had wrapped an arm round Cleo and walked away, seemingly uninterested from that point. Laurence just sighed and dropped his shoulders.

His eyes soon drifted over towards the redhead in question, and then somewhat hesitantly he quietly asked. ”Y-You don’t fancy me
do you Venom? I honestly had no idea.” Trying to appear cool and a bit confident, the boy held his head high and pondered a little. A minute or so later he continued, ”Well, it would explain why you keep making a fuss over others touching me, do you get jealous? T-Then again you don't exactly touch me anyway so...” As soon as he had said that the boy then began to regret it, mostly in slight fear of how Venom would react, or rather what she might or might not do to the poor mage. As if to make things better he later added, ”I-It’s cool though
I-I don’t mind, you can like me as m-much as you want!” As he stood nervously beside the redhead his confidence slowly faded and his cheeks began to turn redder, almost matching his newly acquired red eyes as the boy sighed, ”I-I’ll shut up now, I think that would be for the best... heh. I'm talking nonsense.”

Momoko Sawada

From the corner of her eye Momoko noticed figures entering the cafeteria, to which she turned to look at and soon saw Ruzik appearing along with another girl and, what she guessed was their teacher. It was Mr. Akigawa if she remembered correctly when recalling what was told to her earlier by a member of staff, and really the girl was quite eager to meet the man. She had heard a bit about him and had a few things to ask the older mage. Momoko then noticed Kou trying to wave the group over though their redhead had walked off elsewhere to some other girl. Regardless, the mage was content enough in knowing that Ruzik had decided to join them, or at least she believed he would sooner or later.

Shifting round and retuning her focus back onto Kou directly, she looked to the rabbit and gave a light giggle. ”I don’t have any siblings so I wouldn’t know what it’s like to pet a little brother or sister, but I’ll be sure to keep that in mind. Even though you’re my demon, I’d also like to view you as a friend and treat you with the respect you are entitled to Miss Kou.” She said with a slight nod of her head. ”Though I am sorry to hear of what happened to your family, some humans can do really cruel things for no reason. Just like some demons, I imagine. In a weird way our species are more alike than some care to acknowledge
but regardless, at least you’re still here to carry on your family name.”

Kou then asked Momoko where she was from in Japan, or if her fascination for kimonos was something she did for fun. ”I come from the North of Japan, I lived on an island in a small town. Though a lot of the kids from my town tended to wear more modern fashionable clothes I’ve always stuck with wearing kimonos since I do like them, and I think I suit them rather nicely.” Glancing down at herself the girl then got an idea, looking back up to the rabbit before adding, ”I have a lot of kimonos but if you ever wanted to borrow one you could, since I think you’d look really pretty in one. There’s many to choose from so whenever you wanted one, you can just pick whichever one you like.”

Ruzik R.

Ruzik grinned a little as the girl spoke, eventually sitting back down in his seat as he sighed, "My, haven't you grown dull." Although it was reassuring to know Etelka would not harm Kou the incubus could not resist giving a little remark or two for the sake of it. "Excuses, but still, it's nice to see you showing some concern for my safety." Of course the girl wished for the demon to leave her mage alone, and it seemed that would be the only way to make some peace with the girl. If he apologized to her mage. Though not exactly enthusiastic to do such a thing Ruzik would, if he had to. "Fine, I'll make peace with that boy of yours. I'll apologize when I see him next, and then once I've done that I won’t bother him again, maybe."

Towards her other comment he merely replied with, "Kou does view you as an ally, I believe she likes you. But she has some things to deal with at the moment, mainly myself, so I wouldn't blame her if she seemed distracted lately. If you want to blame someone then blame me, naturally. However," Getting up from his seat the incubus walked around the table and stood beside the girl, despite knowing she wanted to be left alone he couldn't resist.

Kneeling down slightly he rested his chin against her shoulder and gave her a side-glance. ”I always notice you.” Smirking at her, he flashed his sharky-teeth and edged himself closer to the female. ”After all, you are a succubus and I am an incubus
we should really get along with one another. You know, if you ever want to know more of what you are you can always come to me, I’ll tell you, for a small price.” However, when realizing what he was doing the incubus immediately pulled away and stood upright, crossing his arms.

”A-Anyway, I’ll leave you be for now.” He decided to leave Etelka as she wished, perhaps even to a degree feeling relieved that she hadn’t taken up his offer. Despite perfectly willing to do it, Ruzik had to admit he was being a little bit risky with himself especially when lacking his powers. Oh how he missed them. If only Mikari would give him something back, even an ounce of it. But it was pointless to dwell on things that were out of his control, as Ruzik found himself gradually walking over towards his teammates. But along the way he passed the array of food that was put out on display for students to help themselves, not that he would though. Shifting his stare he looked over to where Mikari and Liliane were and waved the pair over to where he was going, which was beside Kou and Momoko.

He could almost feel his gut growling with hunger as he quickened his pace and strolled past the load of food, hurrying over as he made his way to his teammates table and sat himself down beside Kou. Hopefully he wasn’t intruding, the girls seemed to be getting along fairly well and enjoying their food, and he didn’t really wish to ruin things again like earlier. Without saying anything he just leaned to the side and placed is head against Kou’s shoulder, peering up at the rabbit and giving her a small smile, as well as one to Momoko. Admittedly, the mage was growing on him slowly. Though his attention was soon captured by the odd thing that Kou had been eating from, which he proceeded to raise a hand and point at, and then ask, ”What is that? It looks weird.”

But before the rabbit could answer him the incubus turned his hand round and suddenly place it beneath her chin, tilting her head towards him as he gently pushed his lips against hers in the form of a kiss. Rather sneakily, he then dropped his hand and placed it down between her thighs, just to see her reaction. Parting their lips slowly after he pulled away and teasingly whispered to Kou, ”I need you.”

Cleo Gardenia

Image

Cleo pouted a little towards Venoms remark, though what followed quickly earned the redhead a sweet grin in response. ”Why thank-you! I am cute, aren’t I?” Not long after a familiar face appeared and the feline couldn’t have looked happier upon seeing Hive, even more so once he wrapped an arm round her and stood close to the girl. He seemed to be teasing the other two and enjoying it, which Cleo herself couldn’t deny a small snigger at. Though Laurence seemed a bit flustered afterwards and soon the cat-girl was guided away by her friend, as the pair walked a short distance away from the group.

Cleo listened to Hive as he spoke, feeling much happier when seeing him smile. It wasn’t exactly often she witnessed such a thing, unless they were alone and she forced it out of him. ”Yeah, it’ll be like the old days. I miss them a lot since we could do whatever we wanted, and go anywhere we wished,” Smiling, the girl began to purr when reminiscing of the old times the pair spent together. However, though missing them very much so, things weren’t as bad at the academy as she initially thought which was beginning to sway her mind a little. ”But this place
isn’t so bad is it? We have food and somewhere to sleep, and
 and
Ichiro is a very nice mage and I have him in my life now.” As to why her thoughts suddenly centered on the one mage in particular the girl was unsure, but at the very least he made life at the academy much better and Cleo couldn’t have asked for a better mage, in her opinion.

”Which reminds me,” A sudden smirked filled her lips as her eyes traveled over to the horned-girl, who Cleo knew to be in Hive’s group. The girl was on her own which made it a perfect opportunity to approach the other demon. ”You’ve been slinking off, I bet you’ve not gotten to know your group yet, huh? You should, and then you’d see what good there is at this academy and even make friends. Like me, Bugby and Ichiro. We’re like family, that’s what Ichiro says.”

Turning round she looked over to where Muse was and called, ”Hey Muse! Come over here!” Motioning with her hand she beckoned the horned-girl over to join her and Hive. Whilst waiting for the demon to come over, Cleo returned her gaze onto Hive before pushing herself against his chest and up a little. ”She’s really nice, you’d like her. Please be nice.” Poking his chest amusingly, she lowered her ears and smirked up to him in a daring fashion. ”If you don’t then... I’ll do something you won’t approve of, Mister.”

Kou was glad to hear Momoko would try not to do such a thing. Having no siblings must have been a bore, Kou had had ten brothers and sisters growing up. She was the youngest, the runt of the litter you could say. It irked the rabbit a bit that Momoko said she was her demon as though Kou were a possession to be desired. She didn't say anything though and hid her irritation with a smile. "I'm glad to hear it Momo-Chan, coming to this Academy I was worried I would be treated more like a possession than a person." Just like with Tsu, he had always spoken as though Kou were his and not a wild rabbit he caught and separated from her family. Although if he hadn't done that then Kou would be dead like the rest of them. "Yes it seems we are far more similar than some would like to acknowledge."

"Well your kimono is beautiful, I'm envious," Kou said and tucked her hands under her chin. Momoko then said she would allow Kou to borrow one should she desire it. "Really!" The rabbit asked, her voice jumping an octave or two. "You'd really let me wear one?" She attempted to calm herself although her excitement was palpable. Kou cleared her throat and took in a deep breath, "so tell me more about yourself." THe rabbit spoke but just then Ruzik came over and sat himself down beside her, pointing to the food she was eating with a look of curiosity and questioning as to what it was. "This? It's a parfait, it's got yogurt, granola, and strawberries I think." Kou took a spoonful and offered it to him, "Want to try some?"

He seemed to suddenly lose interest in that though as he leaned in and stole a kiss. Kou placed the spoon on the tray so as not to drop it on either of them. His hand suddenly came down between her thighs and Kou jumped, her hair turning pink. They broke the kiss then and Kou wondered if they had made Momoko feel awkward. She was going to apologize when Ruzik whispered that he needed her. "Right now? Alright," a promise was a promise and Kou was not going to let him down. Especially since it was obvious that Ruzik really needed help. It actually made Kou glad that he turned to her and not some other girl or teacher. "I'm sorry Momoko, something just came up." Kou stood and bowed apologetically. "Come on, I'll take care of you." Kou turned to Ruzik before remembering something and leaning over the table to whisper in Momoko's ear. "I hope you don't mind but please don't come to the dorm or you might see something a bit... Nasty." Surely Momoko could handle the sight of consummation, but Kou did not want anyone walking in on them.

Kou waited for Ruzik before exiting the cafeteria. She had taken the parfait with her to finish on the way, then realized it probably wasn't a good idea to eat before committing such acts and so Kou simply carried it with her. They reached the dorm soon enough and opened the door, her hair remaining pink with excitement.

Muse stood awkwardly off to the side, her arms crossed under her chest as she watched the others speak. They all seemed so friendly... If only Lili were here. It was while Muse was wallowing in her loneliness that she was called over by a slightly familiar cat eared girl. What was her name? Rio? Leo? Cleo? Yes, that was it, Cleo and the boy standing next to her was Hive, Muse's teammate. He was a bit odd so Muse hadn't approached him since their brief conversation at the training session earlier that day.

Slowly the girl walked over, not wanting to interrupt their conversation. "Hello," Muse said a bit shyly to the duo and wondered if they were a couple. Or maybe Cleo was just this affectionate with everyone? She had acted that way towards Bugby, Laurence, and Ichiro. Maybe she was in heat? Or was it simply a feline thing to rub yourself suggestively against everyone you came across?

Momoko was pleased to see how happy Kou was when the girl had offered to lend her one of the mage’s kimonos, with a wide smile she simply replied, ”Yes, really. You’re welcome any time.” Not long after that Ruzik appeared and sat with them, however quickly enough he locked lips with Kou and all the mage could do was look away rather shyly. She didn’t want to seem rude and stare at them, but thankfully the kiss wasn’t long and the demons parted lips soon after.

”Oh no it’s fine,” She assured the rabbit as the demon stood up and gave a bow to the mage. Momoko merely gave a nod in response and offered a smile, figuring that whatever the situation was it must have been important. When about to get out of her seat the girl watched as the rabbit leaned over the table and whispered something to her. ”O-Oh alright.” Given that it was Ruzik who Kou was leaving with, Momoko couldn’t help but think of some unpleasant thoughts. Shaking her head she pushed them aside and soon got to her feet.

The girl decided that it would be a good time to confront her teacher and get to know him, since he was already nearby and didn’t look overly busy. After putting away her tray and whatever food was leftover, Momoko began to make her way through the rows of tables before eventually finding herself in front of the older, blue-haired mage. Beside him was another girl with brown hair, to which Momoko bowed to the female, as well as her teacher. ”Hello there, I am Momoko. It is nice to meet both of you,” Moving her gaze between the two mages the girl then turned to the man. ”You must be Mikari Akigawa, I-I mean Mr. Akigawa. I’ve heard of you, you’re a dark mage? Y-You are really a true master of magic, Mr. Akigawa! I hope to learn a lot from you, Sir.” After that she then looked to the other girl, ”And who might you be?”

Bugby Marshall

Bugby was making his way towards the cafeteria whilst carrying a small stack of books in his hands, he had taken a few from the library for further reading and was currently making his way back to the dorms. He had decided to gather some books on various powers, hoping to educated himself and perhaps better his power, though it was debatable. Occasionally he wondered how Ichiro and Cleo were getting on though quickly pushed the thoughts aside, figuring he’d be content enough in having a dorm to himself for the night, or however long he could at least.

As he entered the cafeteria right away the demon spotted Liliane with one of the teachers, and some other girl with them. She looked new, or really he just hadn’t seen her around before. Bugby didn’t see a reason to interrupt the trio and opted to avoid them for now, trying to not drop any of his books in the process as the boy walked through the cafeteria. Along the way another familiar face entered his vision, Etelka, who was eating by herself. As he passed by he merely uttered a faint, ”Hey.”

Soon coming to a gradual halt, he faced the girl as she sat eating. Standing somewhat uneasily he quietly continued, ”Uh, I-I’m sorry again, for what I said before. If I was unpleasant with you I do apologize.” He said, though for whatever reason he didn’t know. Figuring it was polite, he guessed. Since he was disturbing the girl somewhat. ”The Headmaster was a bit hard on you from what I saw earlier, are you... alright?” The demon wasn’t entirely sure what to do with himself at that moment, as he just remained standing and trying to not appear awkward. Hopefully the girl didn't mind him. ”A-Anyway, I was just going back to the dorms. That’s all I had to say really, I didn’t mean to disturb you, I’m sorry.”

Ruzik waited as Kou spoke to Momoko briefly, before the rabbit began to take her leave and soon he followed as they left the cafeteria. Ruzik hadn't said anything to the girl as they made their way to the dorm, being oddly quiet as the two reached the room and entered. Kou's hair was still pink which made Ruzik wonder if she was looking forward to what they were going to do, or if it was something else.

Once inside the dorm he closed the door and made sure the lights were off, a sudden wave of anxiety washing over the incubus at that moment. As to why he was feeling nervous Ruzik wasn't completely sure, though he could guess that it was due to perhaps that this time it was with Kou, and not some fool that he was use to having from years of experience. Nevertheless though, he couldn't deny the happiness he felt knowing that Kou was with him this time. She had always been special to him despite outward appearances and how he treated the rabbit. In a weird way he believed that Kou would learn more of the incubus through this, maybe even understand him better when seeing this other side to him. Walking over he sat down on the bed and patted the space beside him.

”Come.” He said and looked to her, trying his best to give the girl a reassuring smile. He knew Kou wasn’t as experienced as he was, from what he could remember from their last times together the girl had done nothing of the sort when she was around him despite repeatedly telling the incubus to go to her for anything. He never did though, until now.

He waited until Kou eventually came over and joined him on the bed, before slowly taking her hands into his and holding them close to him. ”Before we
you know. I just wanted to say that I am sorry for what I did earlier with Momoko, I really didn’t mean to be bad
I couldn’t help it,” Sighing, he released her hands and set them back onto her lap before placing his own against his knees. ”Those pills are messing with my drive, they make me want it even more with different people
and there’s so many people at this place, surrounding me all the time. I'd rather not take the pills and suffer my hunger instead, if it made you happier.” It was true, despite being something of a sexual deviant already Ruzik had certainly upped his game since coming to the academy. He was way more needier now, and given the amount of mages and demons that were around him every day it only made things harder when it came to keeping himself in-check.

”This is sort of killing the mood isn’t it?” Perhaps it wasn’t the right time to talk about such issues, it wasn’t overly normal for the demon to speak of his feelings or what was going on with him, but since it was just the pair of them he felt he could be open with Kou for once. ”Sorry, I’ll shut up now.” Grinning, he leaned over and quickly kissed her cheek. Sliding a hand over he grabbed her tail from behind and ran his fingers through it gently, and teasingly. At least he knew ways to keep Kou happy, the rabbit was always easy to predict in his opinion. Unlike her though, whatever made the incubus tick wasn't as well known as he rarely let on as to what it was he liked.

”Are you
ready?” Hopefully she would appreciate his slight self-restraint, as he didn’t want to force himself onto the girl and make her uncomfortable. It was her first time, he needed to be gentle and unselfish, and be sensitive to Kou’s needs as well as his own.

Cleo was glad to see that Muse had joined both herself and Hive. The demon seemed a bit shy which the feline found quite adorable, since it wasn’t often that Cleo felt shyness herself, and so she’d try not to make the girl feel uncomfortable. Which then reminded her, ”Oh yeah, sorry for what happened in the infirmary earlier. It was totally all Ichiro’s idea, and we just like teasing Bugby, haha.” Purring quietly, she then shifted her gaze between both Muse and Hive. ”This is my good friend Hive, I think you both spoke earlier. Anyway, don’t mind him he’s just a big grump at times, but he’s real friendly once you get to know him.”

Walking over she put her arms round the horned-girl and pulled Muse into a hug. Cuddling the black-haired girl, Cleo let out another content purr before releasing the girl, realizing then that maybe Muse may have not wanted to be that close to the cat-girl. ”Sorry,” She said with a slight sheepish laugh, dropping her ears just a little in a somewhat amusing manner. ”I get too excited easily I can’t help myself sometimes, but it’s very nice to meet you. Looks like we’ll be on the mission together, you excited?”

Mikari blinked as he listened to Ruzik. From the ways the Incubus was speaking to Mikari, the Dark Mage found it to be quite amusing. He wondered whether Ruzik was behaving to him in such an informal manner like that was due to their little Sensei - Seito deal. Not that he minds though, despite the fact that not many people addressed him without having any sorts of formality in their words. Much on the contrary of Midora who is his best friend, but he was so uptight that the term formality was one of his top rules.

"Yeah, yeah, you're not a kid. Everyone knows that. But once you're my students, you're just a twinkling in my eyes. Problems?" Mikari couldn't help but let out a chuckle as they made their ways to the cafeteria, "You two had better keep it that way, I'm not even sure what I'm gonna do if I ever caught anyone of you messing up around. Both of you are better than those rogue demons and mages, remember? So don't make me have to treat you like them."

Once they've reached the cafeteria, Ruzik turned to Mikari and trying to be nicey-dicey, asking whether if he should be rewarded by some means. A mischievous smirk appeared on his lips. Gods might know what is on his mind right now. Dealing with his favorite Incubus never was a big problem to him, mind you. He faced things that are much worse before. Mikari put his hand on his hip casually and was about to reply, but it seemed that the Incubus was interested in something else.

"Sure, go ahead. We'll talk about this tomorrow. If I feel like it, I might reward you some." Still with a devious smirk, Mikari replied as the Incubus turned his back and went to his companies. Mikari shrugged and went to took some hot tea from the stall before sitting at a table near the window. Sipping from his cup, Mikari gazed outside of the windows. The moon was shining serenely today with thousands of stars twinkling on the far, far sky. Such a beautiful night, isn't it? Everything seems to be so peaceful as if the world has no other cares. Well, maybe not really peaceful because of the Window incident, but it won't be much of a problem if carefully dealt with.

Watching the moon and the stars reminded Mikari of his past. He was always been a carefree person ever since he was young, but what people didn't notice is that he is nothing more than a lonely Mage, at least until he met Midora. It's true that his life wasn't as stormy as his best friend's, but having to hardened his own heart, forgetting how to love a person perhaps are the prices that he has to pay for bearing the blood of a Dark Mage flowing through his vein. His kin were no longer being treated like crap as before, but will they actually find peace just because they were dwellers of darkness? He has been searching the answer for that question for so long.

Quietly shook his head, he turned his gaze to Liliane. "The Headmaster said that you only have your power sealed to the end of today, so now you're free to use your power again." Mikari said with his usual light-hearted smile then flipped as the marks of chain on her body disappeared, thus giving her power back. He held the cup and took another sip before continued, "I hope you'll learn something from this. You can't just impose your rules on the others. You might be strong, but just because the others hadn't showed much of what they're capable of doesn't mean that you can earn your victory so easily. Judging a book by its cover is always the shortest way to failure, remember that."

With that said, he stood up. But then, the blonde hair Mage who was suppose to be his group's Mage came and greeted them. It seems that she's already knew his name, that he is her Teacher and also the painfully fact that he was a Dark Mage. Did the girl really just call him 'the master of magic'? Hearing that made Mikari couldn't help but let out another chuckle. It's been a while since someone flattered him like that, but it's not that he'd mind. In the past, he would have never even dreamed of being respected like this. "So, you're Momoko, hmm?" He said as he tilted his head with his usual smile, "Well, I'm looking forward to work with you too. Hopefully you'll have a nice time at this humble Academy. If that two love-birds teammates of your ever cause trouble, don't hesitate to tell me and I'll kick them in shape." He winked then stretched his arms before spoke up to them both, "Feel free to stay up as you want, just don't be too late. I'll be seeing you two tomorrow."

With that said, Mikari bowed to them then turned his back and retreated back to his own chamber. It's been a long day and he hardly has any rest. Although he'd enjoy fighting monsters and stuff but perhaps today wasn't his day to shine yet. Landed in his own bed, he stared at the ceiling above him for a short moment then just smiled it off before turning off the light and fell into his slumber. Now he can throws today behind his back so that he can head for tomorrow.

Midora keeps on gazing at the starry sky, feeling the night breeze blowing against his skin. He always treasures moments like these. So quiet, so peaceful. Although the rage inside his heart is yet to calmed down, he was glad that he is able to enjoys these moments, even when he wasn't alone in his own world and the fact that a battle is yet to come and things might not totally go so well under his control. But everything will sorted out. He has never failed once in his life and there are no reasons for him to worry that this time will be different.

But, the Headmaster then began to said something about Isolde and that he's clearly showed his displeasure towards the Sage of Water even when he hasn't met her yet. Midora sighed, if there was someone who is really capable of taming Demons like Memphis, no one was better than his Sensei, but the Demon had his own ideals and that is what won't faltered easily. "The Department said that Isolde was the only General that is currently in town so it is no surprise that they will send her. As I said before, Isolde is combative and somewhat freaky, but she won't cause any troubles unless someone got on her nerves. I know how you're feeling right now, but you shouldn't underestimate her. They weren't joking when they said that Isolde can literally freeze anything if she wanted to."

Then, what Midora wouldn't really expected after that is the Headmaster's little emphasis. From gazing at the sky, his gaze turned to the crowd. He couldn't remember what did his colleague said anything else besides the word threatened anymore. Threat? Threatening? Did he really say 'threatening'? That word keep spinning around his head and it felt as if he was being pushed to the brink of insanity. Midora's emotion outburst earlier is still lingering on him, and literally no one, whether if they're superior to him or not should even think of bringing up any of his painful memories while he's still in such a state.

Right after Memphis finished his sentence, something about Midora has changed. His usual calmness was now gone. An intense bloodlust that was strong enough to intimidate even a A-ranked Mage radiates from him. Fixing his eyes to his well-respected Headmaster, his eyes once again turned crimson red. His gaze were hollow and filled with nothing but all the hatred and anger Midora has tried to suppress in his life. He let out calm, yet actually cruel and merciless chuckle. But what is actually strange is that although Midora was standing alone, it feels as if another presence of someone else with powers that are far more powerful than him was felt.

"I guess... you don't know that I, too, was a monster. But I'm worse than anyone can imagine. They said I shouldn't even existed. They threatened me. They blamed me. They forced me to take responsibility for what I didn't do. Am I sound like a human to you?" Midora spoke with his usual calm tone, but one could easily felt the malice that emitted from every single words that he spoke, "Threatening you say? Sure, I don't mind it in the slightest. Keep threatening me. Keep blaming me. Because I'm nothing more than a monster."

Then, in a matter of seconds later, it snapped Midora that he's walking too close to the boundary. It certainly not a good idea to lose control now. So, he kept silent and turned his gaze away somewhere, taking a deep breath and trying to calm himself down. Then, he is back to former self and his expression has returned to its usual blank state, "Rest assure that ever since the moment you gave me that pendant, I can guarantee that I'm perfectly capable of taming that monstrous side of yours on your Master's behalf." He said as he held his own necklace in his hand, it seemed to glitter a bit under the moonlight. "And as long as I'm around, I will make sure that Isolde won't let just a small shard of her icicle touch you. I've put my trust in you, so I hope in return, you can at least believe in my abilities."

Turning his gaze to the students, it seemed that everyone has arrived. "Looks like they've all assembled. We better make of moves now." Midora said and walked pass Memphis without any disdain. Standing in front of the group, he clapped to gain their attention. "It seemed that everyone's arrived. We will begin our mission now. I will lead the way to our destination. Stay in line and follow me and don't even come up with any ideas. Got it? Remember what I've told you this afternoon and I want each one of you to strictly obey it. The opponents you will face is suitable for your strength, but if you're reckless, you might very well harming yourself and your companions badly. Remember that."

With that said, Midora turned his back and began to lead them out of the Academy's campus. He leads them went through the streets that are now deserted with not a single soul to be found. After a while, the sight of a big vortex was caught in a middle of a big field. Fortunately that this area was secluded from the residential areas so there won't be any casualty for the inhabitants of the town. As soon as they approached the Window, packs of monsters began to appear and it looks as if they were guarding the Window. Midora gave a quick glance to estimate the numbers. 15 gargoyles, 10 harpies, 10 imps, 5 ogres, 1 minotaur. Just as I thought, nothing more than a bunch of B-ranked monsters.

Just as he was still thinking, a gargoyle roared and ran towards Midora, trying to attack him with its claws by surprise. But swiftly, Midora formed a Dark Matter blade in his hand and stabbed the creature with it. As the gargoyle fallen, hordes of monster began to march towards them. "Now it's your turn. Show me what can you do." Midora spoke to the group of students as he stepped back and stood next to Memphis, anticipating the fight.

Kou wondered why Ruzik turned off the light, but didn't ask. Perhaps he wasn't comfortable doing it in the light? Or was it normal or people to commit the act in darkness? Kou didn't know. She blinked, her eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness of the room. It was exciting and a little bit scary. What if Ruzik didn't like it? What if he thought other girls were better? Kou tried to shake the thought out of her mind and went to sit next to the incubus on the bed. Hopefully it would be everything Kou imagined and she hoped Ruzik thought the same. He didn't seem nervous, at least Kou didn't think so until he began speaking, then it was evident he was just as anxious as she.

"It's okay, you didn't know better. I'm sorry for yelling at you, you really aren't a monster you know. Just misunderstood." Kou said and stroked his cheek in a very gentle and loving manner. She frowned when he said that the pills were messing him up, making him crave other things instead of hearts. "I told you, if you feel those urges come to me. I don't want to see you in pain," even if it meant they had to leave class five times a day Kou wouldn't mind as long as he was happy. "Not really," Kou shook her head. "It's good to talk about these things once and a while. We never seem to get any time alone," there was always someone around to interrupt them.

A moan slipped from her lips when he began playing with her tail. If her hair had turned blue then surely it would be back to pink although she couldn't tell in the darkness. Hopefully doing something like this would allow her to understand Ruzik better and who knows, maybe she would enjoy it? "I'm ready," Kou said and kicked off her heels, pushing them under the bed with her feet. She pulled off her dress, interrupting Ruzik's tail stroking for a second and hung the garment over the ladder to keep it neat, leaving the rabbit in her underwear and garters. "Are you?" Simply asking the question sent butterflies into her stomach.

She was glad he hadn't pounced on her, he was acting so gentle and taking things slow, the rabbit really appreciated it. Did he know? She wondered, that this would be her first time doing something like this? Or was it obvious by the way she reacted whenever he put his hand on her thigh or tried to creep his fingers up her skirt?

"It's alright," Muse replied and scratched behind one of her horns. Making small talk was not her best skill so she was a bit awkward with the conversation. Muse had really appreciated Bugby's help before and even if Ichiro and Cleo had made fun of the two that fact wouldn't change. People were cruel no matter what species and if they could squeeze some entertainment out of something then they would surely try. "Hello Hive, I'm Muse." She was going to stick out her hand to shake, then thought better of it as in some places that was considered an insult.

"I-It's alright," the demon replied, taken by surprise. She was not used to being touched and Muse wasn't really sure if she liked it. It was then that Mikari announced they were all here and ready for the mission. The group followed him and he displayed what he could do on one of the demons. Muse was nervous, she still had no idea of her abilities but she had promised Memphis she would try. What could the girl use to defend herself? Let's see... She had her claws. Yes, those would surely come in handy.

The monsters did not seem content waiting for them to attack and some sort of weird half bird creature came at Muse with it's mutated beak wide open. She ducked out of the way and slashed it in the back, blood splattering across her clothing. Muse stepped back, another monster coming at her. She swiped her claws around it's front, forming a gash in the creature and causing it to fall. How were these things different from them? Weren't they demons to?

Ruzik was pleased that Kou didn’t find his rambling annoying, it was almost comforting in a way to know that the girl was so understanding. Then again they did have history so it shouldn’t have been that surprising to the incubus, but he rarely noticed apparently. Smiling, he found it amusing to hear the noise that came from Kou as he played with her tail. He was happy to hear that she was ready, and naturally so was he, to which he gave a simple nod to the rabbit to assure her.

Quietly he watched as Kou discarded her shoes and dress and for a moment averted his eyes elsewhere, though the incubus frowned then and directed his gaze back onto the girl. It was weird to think of what he would do with Kou but was grateful for it all the same, perhaps even believing it would add some purpose to their relationship and give it a foundation to build upon. Once Kou was done he slid his jacket off and began to unbutton his shirt, removing it altogether shortly after.

Turning to face her fully Ruzik then remembered something, raising a hand as he took his glasses off and sat them somewhere near the bed. They always fell off at the worst of times and he’d learned to just remove them over time, though his eyesight wasn’t the best. Thankfully however he knew his way around a girl’s body so it wasn’t an issue really, despite the weird feeling that the incubus got whenever he never had his glasses on. Ignoring it, he leaned over closer to Kou and gave her a quick kiss. Normally he’d have been all over whoever his partner at the time was but since it was her, he felt inclined to control himself.

Pushing her gently, he forced the girl down against the bed and moved himself on top of her. Whatever minor anxiety the incubus had was gradually fading as a more natural feeling began to fill him. Of course, this sort of thing was natural for him. It was one of few things he could be good at and especially now, he needed to be. Ruzik didn’t want to disappoint Kou and actually live up to whatever anticipation she had. Leaning down again, he pushed his lips to hers and kissed the rabbit in a loving fashion before sliding his hands along and down her body.

Some time had passed and unsurprisingly Ruzik was sound asleep beneath the bed sheets. He always fell asleep after it and this time was no different, however whenever in a slumbering state the incubus was far less trouble. He was quite sweet in a way, as he lay cuddled up to the rabbit with an arm wrapped round her. Oddly enough, he wasn’t the cuddling type afterwards but since it was Kou the incubus didn’t even think about it. He wanted to be close to her, to hold the girl.

Ruzik couldn’t quite remember if he had bitten Kou at any point, the incubus had the bad habit of biting his partners for whatever pleasure he got from it. He didn’t really want to injure Kou but Ruzik was never quite in control of himself during these times. As he shifted on his side the demon still clung to the girl before mumbling whilst half-asleep, ”I love you.” He was probably unaware he was even speaking at that moment, or even what he had said, but after a minute or so the incubus began to stir. Opening his eyes a little he looked about the room but his vision was a bit blurred. It was then he realized he didn’t have his glasses and began to feel around for them, wherever they were.

Cleo was happy that Muse and Hive were getting along, or at least they weren’t trying to kill each other so that could only be a good thing? Regardless, at some point the mage teacher spoke up and informed that students that the mission was beginning. As the man took the lead Cleo followed on with the other mages and demons as they made their way over to an open field where the vortex was located. Once there, a monster tried to attack Midora but the teacher was too quick and in no time at all finished the creature off.

However such a thing sparked something within the other monsters as they soon began to march towards the group, which by witnessing prompted Cleo to lower her ears and take a deep breath. She was nervous but excited, raring to go by all accounts not so long ago. Before the feline moved though she saw Muse and Hive both taking the lead and heading for the monsters, finishing a few off and quickly targeting more. In a way the girl was inspired to follow in their path and unsurprisingly that was what she did next, as a smile adorned her face and she bore her fangs.

But before the girl did anything she quickly turned to her mage and said, ”Stay safe Ichi.” The last thing she wanted was for the boy to get hurt, but Ichiro seemed capable of keeping himself safe and Cleo didn’t want to get in the mages way. But, she’d certainly keep an eye on him just in case. With that said the feline turned back around and progressed towards the battlefield. Muse had already taken care of a few monsters and Hive was dealing with the air-based creatures, so Cleo figured she’d stick to where she was best, the ground.

As she ran across the ground the feline quickly enclosed the gap between her and the monsters, ducking and diving in between the horde before soon crashing directly into one and knocking the poor gargoyle to the ground. Though perhaps not looking like it Cleo was actually pretty strong, and with enough speed behind her she could be a tough force to withstand, clearly. As the creature tried to scramble back up right the cat spun on one foot and quickly brought her other leg round to collide with the monsters head, giving a side-ways kick and knocking the thing down face-first against the ground once more. However all of a sudden another monster crept up behind the girl and grabbed her from behind, lifting her up and over before tossing her to the ground hard. Getting to her feet Cleo rubbed her head a little, before dodging an oncoming strike from the creature.

Kou was breathing hard afterwards, this was probably the best workout she had gotten all week and sleep came easy when it was over. She lay curled in Ruzik's side, the warmth of his body seeping into her. His whispered words were soft in her ears, their fur tickled pink from the two's most recent endeavors. "I love you too," the rabbit responded in a fleeting moment of consciousness. She turned to face him, leaning her head against his chest. There were a few bite marks on her body, one in a visible place and the others somewhere she could easily cover up. She didn't understand the biting, but it had certainly made things exciting and if Ruzik liked it then she would let him do it.

It was Ruzik's moving around that awoke Kou once more. She opened one eye, peeking out into the darkened room to see Ruzik was feeling around for something. Oh right, he wasn't wearing his glasses! Kou turned onto her other side, the spectacles were well within her reach and she grabbed them, turning once more and placing them on the incubus's face. "Better?" The rabbit asked and sat up, the blanket sliding off of her to reveal her bare chest. There was a bite mark right in the middle, the outline of his sharp teeth clearly visible against Kou's pale skin.

Kou ran her hands through Ruzik's hair, smoothing back his messy red locks. She smiled at him, her expression a bit tired. "This was fun," Kou said and yawned, wanting to do nothing more then sleep. Her legs were a bit sore but that was to be expected after the first time. Would she get used to that? Or would it always ache afterwards? The rabbit wondered, hoping it would not always be painful. A terrible thought suddenly struck her, what if Ruzik was done with her now that he had finally had his way with her body? What if the temptation to stay with her was gone because there was no longer the intrigue of virginity? Kou tried to push the thought away, he had just said that he loved her, surely he wouldn't leave her over something so trivial?

"Can we stay here a little longer?" Kou asked, not wanting to go out and face the school just yet besides her legs hurt too much to walk right now.

Liliane was greatful to have her abilities back but she still didn't have a need to use them as usual. They were offensive abilities. Unless someone attacked then she didn't need them yet. But having the option to use them again was certainly a positive. She wondered if Ruzik recieved his abilities as well and as Liliane looked around she couldn't spot the demon anywhere in the cafeteria. Mikari said not to underestimate her opponents. It was something she was told countless times while training and was something she put into practice. She never underestimated anyone. When she went after Ruzik it was when he was already weakened and even then she made sure he'd offer little to no resistance before she attempted to kill him. Then she thought of her fight with Bugby. She had underestimated that demon when she bluffed about breaking his arm. But that was a rare occasion. She didn't want to hurt the demon because she had no quarrel with him.

That's when Momoko came up to the two. The instructor and the girl exchanged brief words before Mikari dismissed himself. She told Liliane what her own abilities were then Momoko asked what Liliane was able to do. Even though the girl seemed to possess a similar skill to Lili's but with different properties. It was also probably non-lethal to whomever she absorbed the energy from as well. But Liliane would like to see the ability in action, regardless. Momoko suddenly linked her arm with Lili's and started walking, pulling the girl with her. Liliane had never physically touched others unless it was to kill or hurt. This particular action left Liliane at a lose of what to do. She didn't want to hurt Momoko's feelings by pulling away so she let the the blonde guide her as Lili thought about the words to reply to the question asked earlier.

"Telekinesis and making spontaneous combustion. Making things explode with the wave of my hands. I'm more of a combat mage than a healer, I suppose." Liliane would keep her third ability a secret unless she felt it necessary to talk about it. Which would probably never be the case. It would only make people sleep with an eye open at night and the mage didn't want the extra attention. So far it seemed like her actions had gone unnoticed for the most part. And when she thought of Bugby's ability she always had to suppress the urge to take his ability. He was able to access others abilities and use them immediately afterwards. And he didn't need to kill in order to do it. If Liliane took his ability then he would most likely be her last victim.

"I don’t know if you have met my group yet, but my teammates are Ruzik and Kou. Do you know them? If you have met them, do you know if
Ruzik kisses all the girls he meets?”

"I don't know too much about Kou, the rabbit girl. I do know that she's a decent fighter. Ruzik is a snake. He is also my enemy. I suggest keeping an eye on that Incubus for as long as possible. Considering his demon class it's natural that he tries to kiss or even sleep with just about anyone he thinks he can persuade. And those people are normally nice people like you. So if he tries anything like that then just make it painstakingly obvious that you don't intend to succumb to his demands or suggestions. But otherwise don't trust him at all. Like I said, he is a snake."

"I have a familiar, he’s really my pet. But I haven’t found him yet since coming here, would you mind helping me find him? I don’t really know many of the students or teachers here, so I could use all the help I can. I’d be very grateful Miss Auringer. Perhaps along the way you can tell me more of what I have missed on the first day since I only arrived some time ago.” Momoko said and smiled, as she began to walk with Lili out of the cafeteria. Lili was starting to notice that Momoko was rather assertive. She didn't seem to give people much of a chance to say, no, if she asked a question or offered a suggestion. At the time being Liliane didn't mind. Pleasing this mage was the only way to get Ruzik to stay away from Lili. She figured it was more for his protection than anything else. If Lili attacked him again she might be expelled or worse. Not that Memphis could do anything to Liliane that could come close to amounting to what she had gone through most of her life. But she was worried about what he would do to Sarah. Maybe Lili should kill him too?

Liliane shook her head. She was so used to killing others the thought came too easily to her now. Before, if there was an obstacle in her way then she, simply, removed it. Things were simple but now actions required delicacy and thought. Plus, she didn't know if she could take on the demon if she couldn't assassinate him. She didn't deal with many demons when she was an hit-woman.

As the two walked Liliane kept an eye out for anything resembling a pet.

"Well, we haven't done too much since today was only our second day. The demons had a combat exercise while we mages were given test to see where each of us stood. Yesterday was only a half day so schooling ended early. Today consisted of more combat exercises. The first was an activity involving one person defending a staff from the rest of the group he was put with. That was when I almost ended your Incubus' life." Liliane looked at Momoko. "He asked for it. The second exercise was primarily focused on defense and attack precision by, simply, making the opponent fall. While we did that other mages and demons of the class were being briefed on a mission, which they are at now. I don't know anything more about what they are doing." Liliane looked around more after her explanation and it finally dawned on her that she had no idea what she was looking for.

"What exactly does your pet look like? And if you need help from an instructor then there is one person I'm confident would gladly help us. She is also the demon's instructor but I think of her more as an angel than a demon. I've never heard of a feather winged demon. And she is also very kind. I can introduce you to her tomorrow during class if you want. Having an instructor as an ally definitely is a plus."

Ruzik smiled once Kou placed his glasses back on his face, enjoying the sensation of having clear vision once more. ”Much better.” He replied, before propping himself upward a little with his elbows. It was a refreshing sight to see Kou next to him as they currently were, and considering how the day had panned out earlier it was certainly not a thing he had expected, but was grateful for it all the same. As the rabbit sat up and allowed the blanket to fall off her the incubus grinned a little, gazing up at her, and soon looking to her face as she ran her hands through his hair. Things were quite pleasant at that moment and Ruzik genuinely felt happy for once, but that pure emotion had soon fled quicker than it had arose as the incubus narrowed his eyes a little towards the girl.

”Fun? Is that all you have to say? It was fun.” He remarked with a pout as the redhead was clearly displeased by her words. What was fun about it? Wasn’t it supposed to be loving and meaningful, purposeful even? Whatever she meant by fun, all Ruzik could interpret from it was amusing. She found it funny, a joke. She found him laughable. And much of the sort. Maybe he was being too sensitive, the incubus was more emotional when it came to these sort of matters, but the more seemingly worked-up he got the more obvious his on-setting blush became as he confessed, ”I-I thought it was pretty amazing, it felt better with you than anyone else
it was perfect, but y-you just sit there and say it was only fun! So I guess it wasn’t so great.”

It was the first time he had ever bedded someone who he proclaimed to love. It was new and different, though it seemed to have the incubus a little uneasy. He was insecure. Their relationship had always been non-sexual, he’d grown use to that for so long that now, after it, he didn’t quite know how to deal with it. Things were different now, their relationship had changed. Hearing that she found it fun made the incubus doubt himself, was he no good? Did he disappoint her? Maybe she was just saying that to be nice, whatever it was he didn’t know, but the visible anxiety was present in his expression.

Sitting up fully, he reached over and took hold of her hands. With the covers covering his lower half, the demon leaned over and quietly asked, ”It was good wasn’t it? You did like it?” Normally, others would compliment him, saying something more than just fun. Hopefully Kou wouldn’t think him too weird for getting so hung up on something so, well, little. Relaxing his shoulders the incubus took a calm breath to steady his insides. ”It’s fine if you didn’t feel the same way, if I was bad then you can just tell me. You don’t have to lie if I
 disappointed you.”

He released her hands soon after, dropping back down onto his back as the incubus lay against the bed, soon gripping the blanket and covers as he pulled them over his head. Just like a little child hiding from monsters, the incubus could be a little immature at times as he sulked beneath the sheets. ”We can stay here, it’s fine! I’m being silly, aren’t I?” He mumbled, his voice partly muffled by the covers. He could feel his embarrassment growing as Ruzik knew he was being silly, why was he freaking out? They had only done it once and already the incubus was getting emotional over it. Then again, he had never really settled with anyone before, relationship-wise. It would be a first for him as surely that was what would happen now? He had to be committed to her now.

Kou frowned as he took her hands in his, Ruzik was practically shaking. "Will you stop worrying? It was more then fun, I just couldn't think of a better word. I had a... Brain fart?" Was that the right adjective? Kou wasn't sure. She smiled up at Ruzik as the blanket fell off between them. What was he rambling on about? Of course Kou had liked it was just that she didn't know a good way to describe it. "It was amazing-you were amazing, does that sound better?" She asked, hoping it would please him. She didn't want Ruzik to be upset, not after the amazing thing they had just done together.

Kou moved her hands out of his and placed them on the incubus's shoulders, pulling him close and planting a kiss on his lips. "It was the most amazing thing we've ever done and I couldn't have been happier to be sharing this moment with you." Kou whispered and pulled away, her hair still a vivid pink. An ear flopped over and she pushed it back up. Kou hoped she proved she was good enough to him, that he didn't need to sleep around with other demons because he had her and she would satisfy his every need. He made it seem as though he had a good time as well so Kou allowed herself to hope that the cheating would stop.

Ruzik suddenly hid under the covers, appearing to be frightened by something. Kou pulled the blanket up a little and joined him under, wondering what was making him act like this. "Are you alright?" Kou asked, leaning in close as the heat coming off of Ruzik was quite pleasant. "You seem nervous about something. Did someone threaten you again?" Kou asked, narrowing her eyes. "Because if they did I'll kill 'em." Her expression was serious, Kou would eliminate anyone that tried to hurt her beloved. "Just say the name of the person that hurt you and I'll make sure they can never lay a finger on you again."

Ruzik was a little surprised when Kou appeared under the blanket beside him, a part of the demon didn’t desire further chatter however he didn’t exactly reject her company either. His nerves had calmed a little, perhaps being told that he was an amazing lover might have had something to do with it, not that he’d brag, much. Kou then asked if he was alright to which the demon gave a very slight nod, ”I guess.” He assured her, though maybe he was trying to reassure himself more than the rabbit. Before he could say anything further Kou spoke up again, asking if someone had threatened him and how she’d kill those who had if there was any.

With a tired sigh he pulled away from the girl, creating a slight distance between the two bodies. ”Jeez
no Kou, nobody’s been giving me trouble. Anyway, I can take care of myself, I don’t need you protecting me! I’ve done fine without you after all.” Wherever that remark came from or as to what it meant he didn’t know for sure, but perhaps given the amount of time he had survived without rabbit years ago was one way to explain it. ”If you want to know what’s wrong it’s just well, things have changed between us now. I didn’t expect it to be this hard afterwards, I thought I would feel
fulfilled, satisfied even. Maybe, somehow, in some strange way you’d be the one to cure my urges but it’s not the case. Was I expecting too much for the first time?”

A moment after he rolled back onto his side to stare at the girl, secretly wondering what was going on in her mind. It was a known fact that Ruzik was evidently blunt, or maybe he was just unfortunately too honest? He didn’t want to lie to the girl and similarly the incubus couldn’t deal with burdening his mind with the issue. It had been true when he had said he’d enjoyed it however the incubus was still left wanting more, and he figured Kou was in no condition to keep up with his needs. ”I stupidly thought that somehow love would be enough, that I wouldn’t feel the need to want more and more. But then, maybe there's just something wrong with me.”

Ruzik sat up at that moment and hunched over a little, pulling the blanket with him as he kept quiet for a few seconds. However that silence was soon broken as Ruzik then looked to the rabbit with a surprising look of displeasure. Without saying a word he leaned over and looked at the girl, his expression having lost its loving softness as his features filled with a hint of anger. ”It’s your fault, why did you have to get caught by those stupid hunters? If you hadn’t been gone then I wouldn’t be like this!” He snapped and narrowed his eyes towards her. ”Why did you have to be so weak and helpless, maybe if you had tried harder to fight then I would’ve felt compelled to help you
with y-you gone I went through hell. You ruined me. You’re no better now than you were then. Only this time you’re used.”

A moment later and it was obvious by the look on his face that he regretted his words, but as always he had acted before thinking, and could only try and force a sympathetic smile to the rabbit. ”I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that... it was uncalled for. I was just upset that's all.”
