Physical Description
Ruzik is a tall young lad who carries a trim and rather athletic build that although seemingly active he does not animate himself much, unless it is for something good and extremely rewarding. His hair is short and stylish, baring a rather bright shade of red. His eyes however are rather unique in appearance, being of a light yellow-green mix that he has had since birth. Additionally, he has oddly shaped teeth that have been best described as similar to 'shark teeth'. Most of the time he dresses quite fashionably and smartly, always with glasses, and a times he can come across as slightly feminine. He puts effort into his appearance and likes to impress others.

"Yes, yes. The teeth are real, and yes, they will bite you - and it will hurt. Ok?"

Abilties | Powers
Heart’s Desire | Ruzik has the power to grant whatever 'the heart wants'. This ability is limitless in itself as he can summon forth just about anything within reason – meaning he isn’t going to suddenly summon a whole city right before you, but objects, weapons, information and status effects are all considered reasonable. He is limited to only granting three requests at a time and must allow adequate recovery time in between. Should someone persist in pressuring the demon into granting more requests then there will be notable side-effects as his mind becomes ‘overloaded’. This is affective with both mages and demon.

"What the heart wants, it gets. At least if your nice to me of course ~"
Heightened physicality | Ruzik has advanced speed and strength. He in turn does not feel pain as instantly as others would do when injured and thus he can take on more damage and last longer in fights. The down side to this though, is that eventually the pain does catch up to his senses and hurts twice as bad long after the encounter. Although should an attack prove fatal then he would actually die upon getting hit.
"Sometimes I forget, and only after the fight does it hit me - hard."
Heart Chat | Ruzik has the ability to control a person’s heart and alter their actions and thoughts. This ability stems from his natural gift to sense out hearts, which also allows the demon to ‘hear’ hearts – as if they talk only to him. Through this he is able to ‘whisper’ ideas of what the victim should do, rather than what they were going to do, and thereby altering their thought process. This power lasts for only so long, and it helps if a person is weakened whilst attempting this as it makes the target more vulnerable and persuasive. This ability is affective against mages and demons - though is stronger against demons.
"Quite nifty, eh? If I do say so myself."

"I love her truly and no one else can have her - she is mine."

History
Ruzik doesn't enjoy lingering on the past, and yet to know his tale that is where you'd have to begin. If you did, then you would learn the story of Ruzik, the demon that stole hearts and left broken humans in his wake. A demon that could rip hearts apart, abandoned and truly broken into pieces. That demon was called Ruzik, the accidentally conceived child of an Incubus and a Succubus, who had both mistaken one other for a human one night as they ventured through a lone human town - a night which would eventually lead to the birth of Ruzik. His existence was by mere accident and chance of opportunity, and not long after entering the world his parents left him shortly after and never spoke to the boy ever again.

As a child he was left to wander the world, born with an unsatisfiable lust for hearts and to consume them greedily. Though as a child, and unable to acquire hearts, he was very near the end of his life as it came to be apparent that he needed hearts to survive – simply, he fed off them. Unlike his parents who had always lusted for the affections of the heart, he merely lusted for the heart itself. During his youth he was found by a mage and taken in by the old man, who in time supplied the demon with animal hearts to fend off his hunger. Over the course of the time he lived with the mage Ruzik learned many things about humans; how they dressed, spoke and adapted to many of their ways of living for the sake of keeping a low profile. But this way of life didn’t last long.

Ruzik began acting up, protesting, and sneaking out at night to stalk humans whose hearts he sensed nearby. As he grew older his urge for hearts developed increasingly, to the point that it was only inevitable that he made his first killing. Enraged, the mage threw Ruzik out and abandoned the demon, having nothing else to do with the boy ever again. This action alone would soon lead to the slaughtering of many humans in the maddening endless search that Ruzik would go on for the ‘perfect heart’. He would kill many, consuming their hearts and yet never feeling satisfied.

In time it was only expected that he would turn into his parents, though only with a murderous twist. He would entice people in, rob them of their hearts and then dump them to the side. It was a savage hunger that controlled him, one that would lead him to further trouble, along the lines of The Survival Kit Academy. One night whilst trying to jump a group of mages Ruzik was unaware that it was a trap to capture him, and blindly he walked right into it, and was immediately sent to the academy. That is where the demon finds himself now. But what will he do now that he is surrounded by hearts, mages and demons?

"Well who needs parents and mages anyway I guess."

Other
~ Heart Snatcher ~
Though as a child Ruzik needed hearts to survive, now that he is older, the demon has learned to survive longer whilst consuming fewer hearts and by experimenting through other methods to control his hunger. Especially as he is now at the academy and must find various ways to feed his urge without causing harm to others.

"Apparently because it would cause harm to the student body and I must not endanger anyone."

So begins...

Dazed eyes slowly opened as the red-haired boy forced himself upright, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed as he gathered his bearings. Scrunching up his eyes just a little the boy looked to the side, noticing his glasses on the bedside table, as he picked them up and carefully placed them upon his face. Darting his stare back and forth across the room the demon wondered where he was, until the realization hit him - he had been brought to the Academy.

"Ah, Mr. Rosaline you’re awake at last," A woman spoke as she entered the room just then, clipboard and notes in hand as she greeted the demon. "You’re in the nurse’s ward since it seemed your arrival at the academy was not so pleasant - one of our mages had to knock you out just to get you here." The blonde-haired gal nearly let out a giggle at the explanation though Ruzik merely narrowed his stare. The boy felt rather rough and unwell as he stirred from his slumber, running a hand through his hair as he hopped off the bed and tried to regain balance in his legs.

"So this is what they call the five-star treatment for good little demons, eh?" He remarked feigning innocence. "If that is all then I will be on my way - and no, I do not plan to stay here. So if you would kindly show me the exit lady I w--"

"That will not be possible - Ruzik." The woman’s attitude altered quickly as she almost glared at the young demon, placing a hand on one hip as she then looked to her clipboard. "You may be feeling a little off but that is to be expected from the amount of magic it took to knock you out. The wooziness will wear off shortly, but please be aware that this academy will not hesitate to do it again to keep you under control."

"Lovely." He sighed before heading for the door - one shaky step after the other as he walked over and pushed the door open as quickly as he could. "I’m out of here."

"Oh and one more thing," The woman called as she hurried over to the demon and placed a hand to his shoulder. "We know everything about you, Ruzik. We are trusting you to be around the other students and will be keeping an eye on you, but the sole responsibility of your actions rests with you. You should get acquainted with your group and peers, and we will be seeing you again soon as we also know about your little problem. We must address this as soon as possible.”

The woman’s words merely went in one ear and out the other as the demon shrugged and left the office, cursing quietly under his breath as he gradually regained his balance and started to walk as normal. In all honesty the demon had no clue where he was going, but he was given a map and the papers he required, so all he had to do was look and he would know. Sparing a moment to glance at his map it showed he was heading for the cafeteria, but really he was wanting to find his dorm and see if any of the mages had brought his belongs with them – probably not but he lived in hope.

As he strolled along the hall Ruzik could feel the magic leaving his system as he regained normality within himself, a more obvious sign being the fact he could start sensing hearts again. Beats, pulses, vibrations. It was quite overwhelming to him surprisingly, since he hadn’t been around this many hearts at once before – each with its own individual rhythm and noise. To anyone else it might have been a bother, but to Ruzik it was sweet music to his ears. But, he’d need to adjust to this high level of beats at once, and remind himself that he could not harm a single hair on any of the students either. He gave each passing student a daring glance as he refused to move out the way, instead forcing others to walk around him.

Entering the cafeteria the demon winced at the loud ruckus of screams and chatter, huffing direly, as he wandering in regardless. It was as he was walking past that he noticed a girl who snatched his attention, sensing something familiar about her, as he looked to her. "Tell me, beautiful creature that you are, do you know where the dorms are?" He asked, sitting beside her and lightly brushing against her shoulder. "A succubus, yes? Such wonderful lovers, though dreadful mothers I find, tsk." The demon questioned and leaned in a little closer, more so just to hear the beat of her heart, as he was quite enjoying it. However, quite, the fact that she was similar to him was also attractive, since he hadn’t met a succubus till now, aside from his mother.

"What a plumptious heart you have," He teased and offered a shark-like grin, and then pulled away and dug out his map, before practically forcing it into the face of the girl. "Anyway – it is important that I get to my dorm, I need something in it and I don’t even know if it’s there! Help me and I will spare you from a fate worse than death, please." Though not an exact threat, it was perhaps the only way the demon knew how to ask for help. "Assist me and I may even repay the favour, heh."

Getting to his feet quickly the boy looked around somewhat anxiously, biting his lower lip just a little – though even ever-so slightly would hurt him, given his chompers! He then eyed the girl again, placing both hands to his hips. "Well, you coming?"

Kou simply giggled at Etelka led her along back to their dorm, light headed from blood loss. She would recover soon enough but in the meantime would deal with the spinning. "If you would kindly dress yourself I would appreciate it, I can only hold my urges so long Ms. Kou.", Kou rolled her eyes and began to go through her drawers to see what else she could possibly wear. The rabbit did not own many things and she sighed as she settled on another dress, although this one a bit more traditional in the Japanese sense. She only had one other outfit and a pair of pajamas. "I really liked that outfit too, it was so cute..."

"If you like the torn clothes leave them on my desk and I'll mend them when I have materials and tools, for now let us catch the tail end of Hives match," Kou blinked in surprise. She hadn't expected Etelka to offer to fix them, in fact Kou had pretty much resigned the dress's fate to the garbage. A smile adorned her lips and she quickly grabbed the other demon into a hug. "Thank you so much!" Normally Kou would not have done something like that, but her head was still spinning and she was still pumped on adrenaline from their match. She fished the garment out of the waste basket and placed it on the desk, then hopped along behind Etelka to watch the end of the battles.

When lunch was announced Kou looked up from the blades of grass she had been weaving together out of boredom, her stomach was growling almost as fierce as the air beast had and she stood, wiping off bits of earth from her clothing. Kou followed the crowd towards the meal room, the smell and prospect of food making her walk just a bit faster; the rabbit demon got online and did her best to show some restraint as she chose a bit of every veggie dish and decided to sit down across from Etelka. Kou looked around for Hanako, but did not see their mage and as they ate in silence, the light headed feeling finally went away as the food restored her energy and cured her anemia. "I'm gonna go get seconds," Kou declared after a few minutes of staring at her empty plate and stood to leave. She debated going to speak with some of the other demons just to find out of they had anything in common, but decided against it. Lunch time was for eating, Kou could socialize later.

She was only gone for a few minutes, but when she returned it seemed that already someone was attempting to bully her soft-spoken roommate and it wasn't Hive. Kou dropped her tray on the table and yanked Etelka from the succubus's grip, pulling the female demon into her chest in a protective manner. "Leave her alone, this heart won't taste good to you. Plus I've already claimed it as mine." The last part was a joke, an attempt at humor with two demons who most likely took everything far too literally.

"Tell me, beautiful creature that you are, do you know where the dorms are?

Etelka had to admit, she didn't think fate would end up guiding someone to her, nor that it would be so blunt about it. Unfortunately while the man that had guided himself to her acknowledged her beauty he certainly had some undesirable characteristic. The teeth were appalling, and his eyes had two hues oddly combined, at least he dressed well. He sat beside Etelka, close enough to brush her shoulder, it seemed neither had much of a longing for personal space.

"A succubus, yes? Such wonderful lovers, though dreadful mothers I find, tsk. What a plumptious heart you have," If he wanted her to answer his question maybe he should not immediately follow up with more words. If she was succubus she wouldn't know anyway, her parents were awfully vacant during her upbringing. Well then, maybe he was right about them being dreadful mothers then. He then, complemented her heart, one of the most confusing compliments she had ever received, but given he leaned in closer to her breast before saying it taking it was a compliment seemed correct. However thrusting a map into her face was most certainly not a compliment and rather annoying also. ""Anyway – it is important that I get to my dorm, I need something in it and I don’t even know if it’s there! Help me and I will spare you from a fate worse than death, please. Assist me and I may even repay the favour, heh."

The threat was entirely empty, one in being that the man was entirely nonthreatening while saying it, two being Etelka truly doubted he could do anything that would measure to what she's already had done to her. She did however have no reason not to assist the demon, and a favour would be ideal to have right now, hopefully she could cash it in whilst in the shark mans dorm. Sitting up from her seat she was prepared to reply when suddenly she was pulled into her allies chest. "Leave her alone, this heart won't taste good to you. Plus I've already claimed it as mine."

Had someone secretly issued an order to all other demons to make sure she never had a chance to speak?! She might have been annoyed with Kou if the girl hadn't seemed to forget how much Etelka loved her breasts before shoving her into them and claiming her heart. As her face rested on her allies chest she began to fantasize and could feel the drool began to form in excess amounts, if Kou wanted her heart it was hers, she merely needed to ask. Etelka threw her arms around the back of Kou's head and pulled their faces close together, their lips apart by only a few centimeters.

She smirked as she gazed into the rabbit girls eyes, "If you want my heart it is all yours, but if you can't satisfy me," she licked her lips then put her mouth besides Kou's ear, "I will find someone else to do it, but I WILL indulge myself on someone." She reluctantly pushed herself away from Kou, it took significant willpower already to not kiss and grope her, but she wouldn't make her only ally do something she didn't want. Returning to her normal stance and flat tone she spoke, "I am not your master Ms. Kou follow me if you wish, I am simply taking this man to his room.

Etelka redirected her attention to shark teeth, walking towards him and grabbing onto his hand to lead him in the direction of the dormitories. She would get her favor even if this man was not her ideal target for sex, and also he had said something that was of most interest to her. Once clear of the annoying cafeteria crowd Etelka spoke up and asked, "Sir I wish to ask you two questions, the first being your name, I myself am Etelka Lantos." She waited a brief moment for him to answer before going on, "Second being, how do you know I am a succubus, and what is a succubus. I have never had the pleasure of parents, but I have always been curious as to what they were like."

She recalled with dread the responses she had gotten when asking Ervin of her origin, let alone the burn on her abdomen, one of her first memorable attacks came when she called the Master 'father' whilst she was only three. Not only did he smash her about with his fists he 'washed' her mouth of the words with a 'purifying' flame, the roof of her mouth still remained scorched from that. The other demons weren't much better, asking Mikhail was out of the question as he was Ervin's right hand, Hive was only eighteen years old and she was twenty-six so he knew nothing, Kai seemed to know her mother and actually hated Etelka more because he did, and his last demon wasn't something to play around with. She shook her head to dispel the memories, they weren't far from the dorm now and she didn't want to miss his response before throwing herself on his bed.

Ruzik had to blink twice as a familiar face appeared and claimed his, er, friend. Taking a step back the red-haired boy almost looked shocked, surprised, and was mentally debating whether he felt utter love or hate as the rabbit interviened. "Leave her alone, this heart won't taste good to you. Plus I've already claimed it as mine." Raising a brow he looked to the rabbit, grinning somewhat in response to her words. "You have me all wrong my dear, I was merely asking this girl for help," Just then he narrowed his gaze to the rabbit, pausing briefly in slight thought as he continued with, "Besides my sweet, how can you claim a heart when yours is already claimed?" He teased, clearly referring to a point in time when the girl was his Little Rabbit. Oh what good times they were, eh?

He watched as the two conversed briefly, crossing his arms and glancing away for a few minutes. Truly, he had not expected to see Kou here, and his feelings for her were mixed ever so slightly, as were hers, perhaps. "I am not your master Ms. Kou follow me if you wish, I am simply taking this man to his room." Turning to face the pair with a rather wide grin, Ruzik merely stood and allowed the blue-haired demon to take his hand and begin directing him in the opposite direction. However, just as they were leaving the cafeteria, Ruzik glanced over his shoulder and wickedly winked at Kou, sticking his tongue out playfully, before following after the other demon. Whether Kou chose to follow or not, Ruzik could only guess. Sure, he wanted to catch up with her, but on private terms, and not so casually.

After leaving the area entirely the boy gave a content sigh, however his moment of quietness was cut short as the girl suddenly spoke. "Sir I wish to ask you two questions, the first being your name, I myself am Etelka Lantos." Looking to the demon he answered with, "Ruzik R." Etelka then went on to question the boy with, "Second being, how do you know I am a succubus, and what is a succubus. I have never had the pleasure of parents, but I have always been curious as to what they were like."

Ruzik was a little surprsied by the question, did the girl really not know? The red-haired boy grinned, seeing little point in lieing to the girl but rather actually opting for some honesty. After all, she was like him in many ways, perhaps he could relate to her, maybe even bond. "I could sense you were a succubus, simply. My mother was a succubus though didn't hang around much in my life, my father too, who was an Incubus." He said quite casually, "A succubus is passionate, hungry for love. To touch and be touched, to feed an unsatisfiable sensation that will never truly be fulfilled. Etelka, do you ache for something? Do you have an urge that you must feed?" He looked to the girl to see her reaction, hear her thoughts, and presumably answer any other questions she may have.

"But, I could talk endlessly about what a succubus is, its so hard to define you see," Pausing himself, the demon leaned in closer to Etelka and whispered in her ear, "To truly discover what a succubus is really like then you must experience them first hand, one on one."

Just then he saw the dorms up ahead, and after pulling out and looking at a peice of paper, he took note of his number and then sprang towards the door. Opening it he headed inside without a second thought for the girl, as he noticed some of his belongings had actually been brought to the Academy. Sourcing through a bag that was placed near the door, the demon looked about inside the bag for something. However, whatever it was he was searching for clearly wasn't there as he discarded the bag, and started looking around elsewhere in the room.

Some minutes later the boy sat on his bed and sighed, empty handed with an un-amused expression. Or was it? Perhaps it was a good thing, as a mischievous grin filled his lips. As the girl entered the room he merely said, "Well, thanks. You have fulfilled your service."

Etelka Lantos

Certainly his definition was entirely sound to the feelings constantly plaguing Etelka, however he hadn't mentioned something he was hoping he would've. Her lust would never be fulfilled, something about that seemed wrong; some sort of key must end this need. Something must at least lessen it, only as of the last few years the feeling was growing more intense as if she was failing some sort of external condition. Just thinking of this all was enough to drive her mad, nothing frustrated her more than her own mind not knowing something it seemed it should know.

Ruzik R. unexpectedly darted ahead and began to root through a bag like a starving child searching for food. He was unsatisfied with his findings and darted into the room, presumably to loot it in the same manner as the bag. Etelka took her time to walk over and sat outside, leaning against the wall until his noises of search died down. She presented herself in the room, quietly closing the door behind her, if everything went well then it would ideal to not have someone accidentally glance in.

"Well, thanks. You have fulfilled your service." Not exactly the hardest service she had ever been given, and the first she had done for someone she didn't call master. It was an odd feeling, having someone owe you a favour, not entirely unwelcome either. However holding onto the favour wasn't something she could do at this point if she wanted to, the gnawing urge had transformed into something that was actually starting to cause pain from delaying.

"Given your description of succubus I'm sure you know what I want, preferably right now," she gazed into the eyes of the boy who sat on his bed, a smile appearing on her face to match his. She reached behind herself and clicked the room’s lights off, thankfully the blinds were already shut leaving the room in a nice sheet of darkness. Given her scarred body it was always a preference of hers to not be nude in the light, it would bring too many questions if a sexual partner saw the words, 'To serve not to question' inscribed in her abdomen in burns. Luckily the darkness hardly hindered her sight, with all the artificial lights finally gone Etelka actually began to feel relieved. She slowly lowered her dress top revealing her breasts, walking towards Ruzik while licking her lips, she hopped onto his lap and wrapped legs around his waist, her gaze matching his eyes with more intensity then when she fought the monster, "Experiencing me first hand, so we truly know what I am"

”Uh-uh, hold on one moment my dear. While you are still of use to me, apparently I am to be placed within a group, more precisely Group 4 – what can you tell me about my teammates?” She honestly couldn't care less about group 4 right now, more importantly thinking of Hive and sex at the same time wasn't something she would ever do willingly. She placed their foreheads together and mumbled, ”Sure I'll tell you, shortly." Etelka rubbed her hands down from his shoulders to his chest, when Ruzik grasped her and tossed her onto the bed, now the fun started.

”Like a dog that will roll over for just about anyone. You my dear are just that. You’d immediately assume I would just do it – where is the force, the wooing, the dominance? Perhaps you should just leave now and go brush up on your technique, as no self-respecting succubus would expect to be bedded after that performance, dear. If you want my affections then you must earn them, work for the pleasure, or simply take it by force. Just don’t expect me to roll over as easily as you do.” Denied, did he just deny her when she had come this close, flat up refusal was fine up front but waiting for her to get this close. The pain and urges just started to be satiated and now they flew back in stronger than ever. She knew at this moment this man was not the same as her, if he knew how she felt he wouldn't toss her away, and if he felt the same desires! Etelka's mental pain distorted and burned like coal, who the HECK did this guy think he was, claiming to know her how she felt then doing that. Then he had the audacity to place a finger on her above her chest, ”Perhaps you want to run along now and hide behind your precious Kou.”

"Your partner is Hive, an old friend of mine, you and him will get along just fine I suspect," her mind raced with painful fury but she spoke in the same bland tone with an expressionless face. Etelka matched her gaze with Ruzik who looked down on her, this man wasn't her master and her was undoubtedly a threat to her. The Lady would not complain, no this was to protect the lady, and Ervin, he respected strength. Etelka placed a her right hand lovingly onto Ruzik's right cheek as a smile emerged, "Understand someone before you screw them, let's learn together!" She dug her nails into his cheek and pulled them down, clawing down his face like an angry cat, chomping down on her lip at the same time, maintaining her eye contact. As the metallic taste of blood dripped into her mouth she began to laugh, she either wounded him and that emotion would expand or she angered him and that would heighten. If he became mad so be it, if he flayed the girl here and now he would end up getting worse from the mages later.

“Your partner is Hive, an old friend of mine, you and him will get along just fine I suspect,” Immediately his interest peeked, this Hive who was his teammate-to-be, it was rather exciting. But, as much as he tried to wrap his head around it – what sort of name was Hive?

Just then the girl set a hand to his cheek, quite nicely actually, as the demon even smiled a little. Did she really not understand a thing he said? Why was she so accepting? It was certainly odd. ”Understand someone before you screw them, let's learn together!” Etelka snapped, as that once loving hand came scratching down the side of his face and even drew blood! Ruzik couldn’t quite believe it either, as he stared down at the girl wide-eyed. She was sneakier than she had let on.

Then the girl began to laugh, which bewildered the demon. He could only wonder what was so funny, as he appeared apparently fine otherwise. That was until he felt a sharp twinge and hunched over a little, cursing ever so quietly in response. But the pain he did feel was nothing to the anger that burned within him, which seemed to fuel the pain even more, as he gripped hard onto the bed sheets. It wasn’t till a few minutes later that he eventually dropped to the bed and lay flat with his back against the bed, though still in visible pain the demon just didn’t have the energy to express it, only feel it and look unamused.

Staring at the girl he tiredly huffed, ”Alright, so you’re not as simple-minded as I had first assumed,” Narrowing his gaze, he sulked, feeling ever so slightly outsmarted. ”You now have my interest dear, my complete attention.” Ruzik didn’t know whether to applaud the girl or smack her, if he could. She had gotten the upper hand, proved more challenging that he initially imagined, and now he lay in discomfort. His body still ached, and his cheek. Did she really have to scratch so hard?

Now and again he would flinch in discomfort, the anger that he did felt only encouraging the pain that now dwelled in his body. If he grew calmer would it stop? Ruzik couldn’t care. ”Oh dearest Etelka, if you stop this I promise to do all I can to ensure your happiness – I swear. I will do anything as I am now at your mercy.” Whether he meant it or not was debatable, sure he wanted to not be in pain, but the female had also intrigued him now. It was certainly a risky choice to trust him. ”Believe me when I say that I am just like you, we feel the same things only... our desires differ ever so slightly.”

As expected Ruzik threw himself back, clinging onto the bed sheets in a futile attempt to lessen the pain on his cheek His quiet curses and huffs of pain, hearing him suffer! It took him a few minutes to deal with the pain, and during this time she chuckled as she groped herself indulging in the pleasantness of his pain, while lessening hers. Unfortunately he managed to regain himself and look at her with an unamused look that caused Etelka’s grin to widen.

“Alright, so you’re not as simple-minded as I had first assumed. You now have my interest dear, my complete attention. Oh dearest Etelka, if you stop this I promise to do all I can to ensure your happiness – I swear. I will do anything as I am now at your mercy. Believe me when I say that I am just like you, we feel the same things only... our desires differ ever so slightly.”

She laughed as he finished his words, crawling over him as he lay flat on his back. Etelka smugly told the unfortunate demon, ”oh, but I thought you asked for this, you asked where my dominance was!” The same moment her words she lifted her left knee from her side and slammed it into Ruzik’s stomach letting out an aroused moan as she saw him feel the pain, ”It would be dangerous to let you live after you know my tactic, but I need a mutually serving friend in this academy.” With that she willed the magic’s link to sever, returning the boy to his standards emotions, but she did not move herself from the position above him, and left her knee rested on his stomach.

She placed her elbows on either side of his head, leaning in close, leaving their lips only slightly apart as the blood from her self-inflicted wound dripped onto the man’s own lips. Her right knee lay beside his hip, she could feel herself becoming wet as she glared into the man’s eyes. ”You will pleasure me, or one of us will wish we could die.” In her time as a vagabond people usually didn’t resist the prospect of sex, but if they Etelka could pleasure herself to cries of agony. She felt no pity for anyone she could overpower, anyone she could kill wasn’t worthy of life, and truly Ruzik would have been the same if not for her fear that academy would not have many people willing to engage with her.

Ruzik watched as the girl got on top of him, not even putting up a struggle as she leaned in closely to him with their lips only so little apart. He could even taste the blood that dripped onto his lips, and didn't even seem to mind. ”You will pleasure me, or one of us will wish we could die.” The demon said ever so confidently, expecting the male to comply so easily. But Ruzik had other plans.

With a wide shark-grin he forced himself upwards, nabbing the girl and pushing her up with him, as he then grabbed her by the neck and forced her own back down against the bed as he loomed over the female. ”Tsk, tsk. Did you really fall for that?” He teased, as he crawled over the girl and set both his knees on either side of her waist, his face leaning in close to hers. ”I'm very happy that my performance was convincing, as you see I do not feel pain when I should - though perhaps I did feel a very tiny bit, I can assure you I will most definately feel that pain, twice as much, tonight as I sleep, heh.”

Lowering a hand back, he slid his fingers up one of her legs and teasingly traced them around her thigh. Moving his head, he ran his tongue along her neck as he then reached her ear and whispered, ”I have a few tricks up my sleeve, some secrets too. But let us just say that your heart told me as it spoke so clearly to me, and that is how I knew to act as if I was in, tsk, pain,” He chuckled with amusement and grinned widely. ”But I must say I use to think you were a simpleton of a girl, but now, you are far more devilish.”

Leaning down, he rested his head against the girls chest and let out a content sigh. Unlike some, he merely enjoyed it for the heartbeat he could hear echoing from within the girl. Closing his eyes the demon even began to smile. ”I do agree that a mutal friendship is ideal and that is why I propose this - I will do anything you want, be it here or anywhere, and in return you let me listen to your heartbeat? Sounds fair.” Reaching his other hand up, he traced a finger across the girls chest before closing his eyes and seemingly going to sleep, though he was very much awake, but rather merely just enjoying the fact he could peacefully listen to a heartbeat. In a way it soothed him, and when like this, he was much less of a hassle to deal with.

When Ruzik forced himself up and grasped onto her throat there was little she could do to resist, the man was clearly stronger than her. She was forced into the same position she had him in, not that Etelka minded who was on top. Now in his superior position he continued with his annoying cocky rants, it seemed he didn't feel pain at the moment of infliction. What terrible luck, would everything she attempted to use her power have some sort of external condition causing it to not work. Then the man teased her thighs and licked her neck, causing Etelka to squeak with pleasure from his touch. It seemed her heart had told him how to act when in pain, of all hearts to examine for experience with pain he had hit the jackpot.

”But I must say I use to think you were a simpleton of a girl, but now, you are far more devilish.” She shared his grin; the entire class so far probably thought of her as delicate flower with issues, at least two would know she would take a life. Ruzik placed his head onto her chest, ”I do agree that a mutual friendship is ideal and that is why I propose this - I will do anything you want, be it here or anywhere, and in return you let me listen to your heartbeat? Sounds fair.” She couldn't care less, now that he silently rested on her chest and had removed his hand from her thigh she was becoming irritated again. If all this man wanted to was listen to her heart in exchange for fending off her lust it wasn't something she could easily refuse.

She placed her hands on the back of the man's head, holding it close to her chest, "Listen to my heart as you please it bothers me little, I care not if you sleep in my bed and use it to doze off at night. Rid me of my lust when It comes up and my heart is yours, however I would like to hurry this up as we've already dallied long enough that my allies may grow suspicious." It would not be ideal to have Kou barge into this room and tear Ruzik off her assuming it was some sort of assault. And if she didn't rid herself of this feeling before resuming classes she may end up pouncing on someone.

Kou was surprised at Etelka's response, she had merely been joking but it seemed succubus were terrible with humor. Kou had never really believed that Etelka truly desired her body, she had thought that last night had been some sort of joke. It was during this moment that Kou realized Etelka really wasn't joking and was a bit flustered when her roommate pulled her far too close and then pushed her away before the red headed male spoke.

"You have me all wrong my dear, I was merely asking this girl for help," Kou raised an eyebrow, a look of suspicion replacing her previous embarrassed expression. She doubted that was all they were really going to do. "Besides my sweet, how can you claim a heart when yours is already claimed?" Frustrated, Kou decided not to follow them. She sat at the table and munched on her lunch angrily, realizing how ridiculous she most likely looked; an overgrown rabbit eating carrots in an angry manner.

No longer hungry Kou pushed away her tray and grabbed her ears, tugging on them and letting out an aggravated huff. That man.... She didn't know what to think of him; she certainly had not expected him to end up here; Kou had believed him to be just a bit wiser and far too clever to catch. It seems the rabbit was wrong and now she and her once beloved shared the same fate.

A sigh escaped her lips and Kou released her ears from her crushing grip, the fuzzy set instantly perking back up. Kou looked around the lunch space, wondering what else she could do during this hour and decided that it was time to socialize. The female stood and brushed off her dress, glancing about to see who would be most interesting to converse with.

Her eyes landed on the table with the other animal demon, a green haired boy, as well as a mage and a curious expression lit up her face; they were called Cleo and Bugby if she remembered correctly from this mornings introductions. Kou strode over to where they were seated, attempting to appear confident after her defeat with Etelka and Ruzik and bowed to the three.

"Excuse me," Kou began, hoping that she was not being a bother. "My name is Usagi Kou, would you mind if I joined your table?" If they said no she could always try somewhere else, but the fact that there was another animal demon in her class had been a factor of intrigue; plus Cleo and Bugby's performance this morning had been something to behold considering they were the first ones to battle.

Cleo couldn't help but narrow her eyes a little at Bugby, though the feline didn't look overly disapproving, as she then instead settled to nudge the green-haired demon in the guts every time he made an unhelpful remark. Granted, he only made one or two, but that was more than enough. “That's enough of that, thankyou. Don't make me turn... this table... around..." Yeah, that earned her a look or two from her team, but she didn't care. With a shrug she looked to Ichiro, awaiting his response. Quite, she too was curious to know what the mage could do, as she hadn't thought to ask until now, and the other demon bet her to it.

“Oh please Ichiro, tell us what you can do, I'd really like to know!" As she awaited the mages response, the feline nabbed another apple in her hand and began munching on it until she heard, "Excuse me," White ears perked upwards, the girl turned her head to face the rabbit-demon that stood at their table, her mouth filled with half-eaten apple as she tried to gulp it down quickly. "My name is Usagi Kou, would you mind if I joined your table?" Gulping hard, the feline coughed a little before offering a warm smile to the girl and motioning with her hand for Kou to take a seat. “My names Cleo Gardenia, and this is Bugby Marshall and Ichiro Ogura."

Pointing to each of the boys as she spoke, the girl then focused her attention entirely onto the rabbit-demon as curiosity got the better of her. “So what brings you to us lot, haha. I saw you in class before, and you really kicked ass in your match!" Laughing, she picked up her apple and began nibbling on it again. “Its not often I find other animal demons and I don't think I ever saw a rabbit one before, but I guess there's a first time for everything!" Realizing she had been perhaps a bit too chatty just then, Cleo lowered her ears a little with a sheepish giggle - figuring she ought to give the girl a moment to talk!

"Listen to my heart as you please it bothers me little, I care not if you sleep in my bed and use it to doze off at night. Rid me of my lust when It comes up and my heart is yours, however I would like to hurry this up as we've already dallied long enough that my allies may grow suspicious." Etelka said, agreeing to his arrangement he concluded which caused the demon to smile with visable contentment. ”Glad we agree.” He smirked, hugging her chest, as his entire attitude suddenly changed into that of a giddy child somewhat.

A short time later Ruzik emerged from off the bed as he adjusted his collar and glasses, sighing a little as he made himself look presentable. ”You best get up, as we wouldn't want your allies getting worried now, would we?” He grinned, before sitting down on the edge of the bed as he turned his gaze to the female, pausing for a moment to get his thoughts together before addressing the girl.

”I think it best we do not mention this thing to anyone, and do not go into details with Kou. Whatever she says about me I'd advise you to ignore it, as her views are biased at best.” Dusting off his sleeves the red-haired demon sorted himself out a little, ”I have to admit Etelka I am growing fond of you, a little. Maybe in time you may find me endearing in some way." Ruzik laughed a bit at his own words, running a hand through his hair. ”Anyway, time to get up my sweet.” He nudged the other demon playfully, before getting to his feet.

Etelka lay on her back relaxing in the bliss of a clear mind. Ruzik had picked himself up and was redressing himself, ”You best get up, as we wouldn't want your allies getting worried now, would we?” He wasn’t wrong, but she felt so good right now, going to interact with others seemed entirely unpleasant in comparison. He walked himself over and sat on the edge of the bed, ”I think it best we do not mention this thing to anyone, and do not go into details with Kou. Whatever she says about me I'd advise you to ignore it, as her views are biased at best. I have to admit Etelka I am growing fond of you, a little. Maybe in time you may find me endearing in some way. Anyway, time to get up my sweet.”

She didn’t like being called his sweet, she was already someone else’s property he was just the member of a happy partnership. ”Yes I’m getting up, and I hardly care what Kou thinks of you as long as you keep my head clear of those urges,” unless this man was a threat to the Lady, or the Lady asked her to kill him, it was unlikely she could bring herself to care about hating him. Etelka rolled herself over to the edge of the bed and reached to floor to grab her dress, pulling it up to herself.

She shoved the dress under the covers, dressing herself out of view in order to maintain Ruzik never seeing her burn. Then pushing past him she got out of bed, patting down her dress and smiling at the man, ”Thank you for that, I’ll be heading out. My mind should be clear for the next week, you need simply ask for my heart.” Performing a curtsy, Etelka dismissed herself from the room and headed off to her own.

She wished to tend to her hair which had become too tangled for her liking; maybe a bath would be nice too. Having tended to those urges her mind was so delightfully clear, it made her want to get to repairing Kou’s dress, however she still lacked tools. Perhaps she would seek out her Lady Minami, yes that seemed the best course of action. However she currently lacked knowledge of where the Lady had was located, so relaxing in her room to a nice drink of juice sounded marvelous.

”To be honest I was curious about you…Well that and my teammate abandoned me for another demon.” Cleo tilted her head a little to the side; it had been a first that anyone was interest in her before – she was just some odd cat-girl after all, nothing special in her eyes. Though she didn’t like hearing that the rabbit-girl’s teammate had gone off with another demon, that was just mean. “If either of my guys left me for another demon I’d make them regret it, for sure." As she spoke the girl wrapped an arm round Bugby and gave the boy a warning stare, as if challenging him, as well as their mage who did not escape her daring gaze either.

”I've never met another animal demon and was wondering if you were a cat or a fox.” The feline merely giggled a little and released the demon boy, setting her hands down against the table. “Oh no biggie, I’m a cat – Meow!" Flicking her ears back and forth, the girl offered a reassuring smile. ”I was actually a real rabbit once, I was turned into a demon by the Moon God.” Cleo looked truly impressed as the other girl spoke, “That sounds awesome, it’s so cool! You actually met the Moon God – wow! Must’ve been weird being human, huh?"

Kou’s tale was far more impressive in comparison to Cleo’s, who never in her life had met a God of any kind but rather spent her existence as the faithful pet to an elderly mage. “I’ve always been part human and part cat, I think… I was a cat and then one day I suddenly turned into a human, and then back into a cat. It was really weird." In all honesty Cleo had no real knowledge of her birth; her life had always been as a cat and human, never one or the other. At times it could be confusing. “Hey, can you turn into a rabbit? I can turn into my cat form – look!"

Without really thinking, and perhaps due to the excitement of meeting her fellow animal demon in class, Cleo hopped onto her seat and stood up straight. Leaping into the air and somersaulting backwards, the girl’s long white hair began to expand and wrap around her body, as strands of fur began to emerge and take shape along her shrinking figure. Upon landing back down on the table, four white paws took form, as a small white cute-looking cat stood staring at the group. “How do I look?" Indeed she could still talk, and still sounded like the Cleo they all knew. But out of the corner of her eye the cat spotted her clothes and undergarments falling onto her seat next to the table – she always forgot that happened. Similar with many shape-shifters, clothes weren't exactly transformable. But Cleo seemed to forget that part quite a lot! “Oops. I keep forgetting that. Someone wanna pick those up for me? Meow."

She wasn't too sure how she was going to transform back to her human form, be it discretely or in public now that she thought about it. Maybe she ought to have thought about that before transforming, as given that it was Cleo after all either was likely.

”Thank you for that, I’ll be heading out. My mind should be clear for the next week, you need simply ask for my heart.” The demon smiled to the female as she curtsied to him, before watching her leaving the room altogether. Quite, he would most assuredly be asking, he wasn’t going to let that opportunity go so easily. Left to his own devices now, Ruzik decided to wash up after feeling somewhat dirty, opting for a quick shower to refresh himself since he still had the rest of the day to go. Once that was done and redressed, the demon found himself looking through his room once again, though more so just to get a better idea of those who he would be sharing the area with. But when growing bored Ruzik decided to leave the room, stepping out and closing the door behind him as he headed elsewhere.

It wasn’t until he was halfway down the hallway that the demon felt a sharp pain strike him suddenly, his cheek hurting, as well as his entire body that ached rapidly. He knew almost instantly what it was – Etelka’s attack was finally catching up to him, twice as hard, as he leaned against the wall before sliding down to the floor in pain.

Sometime later, Ruzik awoke and found himself back in the nurse’s ward yet again. It had appeared he had passed out from the agony he was in, and seemingly someone had found him and brought him to the office. Not that he was particularly pleased to be there again, and he was most certainly not going to thank anyone any time soon.

“Nice to see you again Mr. Rosaline,” The woman from before greeted, almost sounding as if she was enjoying seeing the demon again unlike himself, who was not happy. “What did you do this time? I thought we had an understanding that you were to behave.”

”Oh leave me alone.” Ruzik sighed as he sat up from the bed and swung his legs over onto the floor, and raised himself upright. ”I haven’t done anything and now I will be on my away - again. I hope we do not meet ever.”

“Hold on there, here take these,” The nurse handed the demon a small tube of pills, “We confiscated some of your belongings, I think you know which. Since your methods of easing your hunger aren’t entirely reliable, we felt these might assist you for now. You can be our guinea pig and test them - but you must keep taking them.”

”You have no right to take my things,” He remarked and eyed the tube of pills with little enthusiasm. ”And I’m not exactly out of control, I’m not a child, so do not think of me or treat me as such – good day.” With that the demon took his leave and left the office, shoving the tablets into his pocket as he wondered off to somewhere more pleasant down the hallway.

”I would love to be part of your group…I hope we become good friends.” Cleo offered a nod in response to the rabbit-girl, a warm smile filling her lips. “Of course we’ll be great friends, heh. The cat and the rabbit united! Nothing will stop us!"

”That reminds me I was thinking we should have a class party of sorts after we all have a full practice in our teams. I'm not sure who all would want to come since some of our class mates are downers, but Kou you would come right I know Cleo would come and we could convince Bugby.” Cleo’s ears perked up as the boy spoke, and almost immediately the girl agreed and cheered in response.

“A party sounds really fun! I’d love to have a party, though… I’ve never been to one before," Her ears lowered a little at the realization, since her old owner was too old for parties, and the demon herself had just simply never experienced one. “But, I won’t let that stop me! I want to experience many things at this academy, and a party is one of those things. So let’s do it! And, if the teachers tell us no… then we can just have a party in our dorm and invite everyone!"

Giggling, the feline purred contently at the thought. A moment after she eyed up the green-haired boy next to her, feeling that perhaps a party was not his sort of thing – but that wouldn’t matter. Bugby would be going to whatever Cleo said he was going to, the boy needed to cheer up a bit after all! “You’ll come, won’t you Bugby?" Before giving the boy a chance to reply, the girl wrapped an arm round her teammate and pulled him close. “Of course you will! Anything for the group, eh Buggie?"

Releasing the other demon Cleo kept her hands to herself for the next few minutes, as she sat and looked about the cafeteria. For some reason she enjoyed being at the academy, despite her initial arrival into the place, things were actually looking pretty good so far. She could only imagine how much better things could get in the days to come.

Ruzik R.

Ruzik quickly found himself bored and lost once again. He wasn’t too sure if he could face locking himself away in his dorm for the rest of the day, and trying to leave the academy would prove more challenging that he had thought. He had been left to wander the area as he saw fit, no teachers were bothering him and most students seemed to avoid him, or he just didn’t bother conversing with those who dared to approach the demon.

The red-haired male retraced a few of his steps from earlier as he arrived at the cafeteria again, poking his head in as his eyes fell onto the lovely sight of Kou, who was accompanied by three other students. Caring little for the latter, the demon entered the cafeteria and walked over to the table that the rabbit-girl sat at, placing both hands down against the table as he peered down at the girl.

”Kou, can we talk?” He asked, not really caring who was watching at that moment. The only thing on his mind was rebuilding his relationship with the rabbit-girl, albeit he ought to have thought about that before stealing away her teammate prior. Perhaps he was caught away with the moment, and now regaining his senses a little, all that mattered was Kou. ”Can we start again, be like we were before? Things could be so much better for both of us,” Kneeling down, he rested his hands against her lap, before reaching over and snatching hold of her own hands and holding them carefully in his own.

”So, will you talk with me? Privately? Away from here?” It wasn’t often he went out on a limb for anyone, so perhaps there was something genuine in his words. Truly, the girl still had his heart a little, and despite all that he had done, and would do, his feelings were still the same. Though whether she agreed or not, Ruzik was determined to talk with Kou.

”Is your blood unlimited then, or would you eventually run out of it? I’m only guessing that blood manipulation is quite a risky ability to use often?” Kou had never actually thought about it before, she had never run out of blood but after particularly bad battles her head would not stop spinning. "I do get anemic after battles, but most of the time I can just pick the blood back up and redirect it inside of me." A disgusting thought, but that's how it worked. "That's really cool and unique, I bet you can do a bunch of super cool things with that. Though Bugby is right it must be quite risky." This came from Ichiro and Kou smiled at the male before answering, "Yes, it does allow me to do some pretty-um, awesome things." She replied, hoping it didn't sound like she was bragging. Her favorite was the blood sword, although she could also make it rain plasma. Kou's blood was like acid and burned other organisms.

“Of course we’ll be great friends, heh. The cat and the rabbit united! Nothing will stop us!" It was then that Ichiro suggested a party and implied that she would attend. Yes, Kou would love to attend a gathering of friends! She had never been to a party before, although once a year she could see fireworks from the shrine and would watch them with the other familiars. Someone came up behind them and placed his hands on the table beside her, Kou traced up the familiar outline to see the red-head who had run off to consummate with her roommate. "Kou, can we talk?" A sigh escaped her lips as Kou had known this conversation was inevitable.

”Can we start again, be like we were before? Things could be so much better for both of us,” He placed his hands on her lap, right at the edges of her dress and grabbed her hands. ”So, will you talk with me? Privately? Away from here?” She gave an apologetic glance to the three and stood. "It was nice meeting you Cleo, Bugby, Ichiro. I would love to attend your party later." She led Ruzik away from the table and out of the cafeteria, her heels clicking on the tiled floor. Kou's heart fluttered a bit as she thought about the impending conversation although she could never tell if it was some sort of succubus trick, or if she really, truly, liked Ruzik.

Kou stopped walking when they reached the garden outside, it was a beautiful day out but the green was abandoned due to the fact that most students were still eating lunch. "I still like you Ruzik, if that's what you were going to ask. What you said before, about my heart already being claimed is true." In her heels she was the same height as him and Kou's eyes met his.

"But you let those hunters take me." She was referring to their last day together nearly fifty years ago. They had been having a picnic on a hill surrounded by the carcasses of humans whose hearts had been ripped out. Ruzik had consumed the hearts and Kou had been eating carrots when hunters hired by Tsukuyomi found them and Ruzik hadn't even gotten up as they dragged her away. She wasn't sure if the Moon God had put him up to it, or if the mages had cast some sort of spell that hadn't allowed him to move but that day had occupied her mind for ten years. He had never come to visit her either, which was another factor to consider.

"And you just had sex with my roommate." That didn't bother her so much as she figured Etelka would eventually lay with someone. She noticed the scratches on his cheek and frowned, reaching out and caressing the marks before realizing what she had done and returning her hand to her side. "Did she do that to you?"

Cleo watched as a red-haired demon approached the table, seemingly knowing Kou rather well or to some degree at least, as he wished to speak with her privately. The feline had opted to keep out of it and allow the pair to deal with their own issues. ”It was nice meeting you Cleo, Bugby, Ichiro. I would love to attend your party later.” The rabbit-demon said as she left with the other demon. “Uh-huh, it was nice meeting you too Kou." She called after the girl before redirecting her attention onto the two boys. “Since it looks like we’re done eating, what do you two wanna do now?" She asked, resting her arms against the table lazily. “We could go somewhere else, or try hunting down some of the other people from our class. I’m not entirely sure what we’re doing after lunch, so, we could even practice together as a group in the meantime." She suggested casually, flicking her ears with a continuous purr.

Ruzik followed Kou out through the cafeteria as she guided him to the gardens, though the slight surprise that decorated his face could not be concealed so easily, as the demon was rather taken aback that the rabbit-girl agreed to speak with him. Once arriving at the gardens just outside, the demon looked around and noticed that not many students were around if any. It was quite an ideal location for their talk, he thought. ”I still like you Ruzik, if that's what you were going to ask. What you said before, about my heart already being claimed is true.” The girl looked to him, their gaze evenly leveled as they stood. ”I still—“

”But you let those hunters take me.” Kou cut him off suddenly, though her words were very true. Ruzik could never forget that day or the many before it, he never really forgot any of the days since meeting the rabbit-demon. Letting out a somewhat saddened sigh the demon raised a hand up and rubbed the back of his neck a little, glancing away momentarily. ”That was a crazy day, things just happened. I… I would’ve protected you but…” Staring back at the girl, and lowering his hand and placing both hands to his hips, the demon narrowed his gaze a little. ”Look, the past is the past and there’s nothing we can do about it now. I did what I had to and I can’t undo what I done. I...” Silencing himself, the demon tried to drop the matter, or preferably avoid the issue.

”And you just had sex with my roommate.” Crossing his arms just then, the demon sighed, as yet again Kou was very much right. But how did she know? Was he just that predictable? The rabbit-demon brought her hand to his face suddenly, touching the marks given to him by Etelka. Ruzik enjoyed that little moment though it did not last long as Kou pulled away from him. ”Did she do that to you?” Ruzik gave a nod in response, ”After I rejected her, she attacked me. Thought she had the upper hand but I quickly put her in her place, and then one thing lead to the other. You know what I am like.”

In a way Ruzik disliked a part of himself, purely for that reason. He seemed to do a lot of wrong things and wasn’t exactly overly faithful. He was a weak demon in that sense. ”We came to a deal, I would do anything she wanted and in return I can listen to her heartbeat.” As he spoke the demon glanced away, bringing his hands to his sides. ”But I still like you, Kou. Despite everything I do – it’s you I want. I’m just weak…and bad… and I need your help. Etelka is just a bit of fun, you’re what I’m serious about. Can’t you give me another chance to make amends? If you do I promise, this time, I won’t let anything take you away from me again.” He said with a grin.

Kou crossed her arms over her chest as he spoke. ”That was a crazy day, things just happened. I… I would’ve protected you but…” So he truly had no excuse. Kou was impressed that he didn't even try to make something up. The hard expression she had been giving him fell just a bit; perhaps he was truly sorry? ”Look, the past is the past and there’s nothing we can do about it now. I did what I had to and I can’t undo what I've done. I...” Kou could understand that; he was surviving. It still hurt though, even after fifty years her heart still stung at the memory of how he had simply sat there. Together they could have taken those hunters out.

”After I rejected her, she attacked me. Thought she had the upper hand but I quickly put her in her place, and then one thing lead to the other. You know what I am like.” A small smile managed to snake onto Kou's lips and she shook her head. Yes, Kou knew Ruzik all too well which is exactly why she wasn't sure if she could trust him. He was a sneaky succubus, good at spinning words and getting woman into his bed. ”We came to a deal, I would do anything she wanted and in return I can listen to her heartbeat.”

"Yes, you mentioned at lunch how nice it sounded." Kou attempted to keep the venom from her voice, she did not want to sound like she was jealous. ”But I still like you, Kou. Despite everything I do – it’s you I want. I’m just weak…and bad… and I need your help. Etelka is just a bit of fun, you’re what I’m serious about. Can’t you give me another chance to make amends? If you do I promise, this time, I won’t let anything take you away from me again.” His grin made Kou's heart flutter and her hair turned pink, giving away her position. Dammit, she hated being a magical rabbit sometimes!

What was she supposed to say? Fine, I forgive you? Sure, let's make up? Her mind hopped back and forth, her mouth opening, then snapping shut once more. Finally, a gentle smile danced on her lips and she took Ruzik's hands in her own. "We'll learn to better ourselves...together." After all that's the whole reason they were at this school; to better themselves and learn to use their magic. Kou took a breath and closed her eyes for a second before looking back up at him. "But I swear if you betray my trust I will slaughter you." Her smile never left her lips and she titled her head to the side in an adorable manner, causing one of her ears to flop.

Ruzik quietly watched as Kou took his hands and held them in hers. It felt like old times between them, a perhaps, nicer side to the demon gradually revealing itself the longer she held it. ”We'll learn to better ourselves...together.” A very small, sweet smile filled his lips at that moment. All his fretting that Kou would not speak to him was for not, as a relieved sigh escaped his lips. A moment or two later, his smile quickly left his face, as an all-knowing grin filled its space. ”Now that we’ve made up - let’s make out.” Leaning in close to the girl he stopped just inches from the rabbit-demon as she then said, ”But I swear if you betray my trust I will slaughter you.”

As she tilted her head and let an ear flop down, Ruzik chuckled a little. Kou was quite adorable, and he always found her to be attractive. He was lucky to have met her, and have her. He sniggered again, eyeing up her pink hair as it had turned moments before. ”You’re so easy to read, you know that?” He teased and ran a hand through her long pink hair.

”I missed your heartbeat. It was very soothing, and the loveliest one ever. But now that I am here, there are so many heartbeats and I feel I am getting overwhelmed.” He said before pulling his hand away awkwardly. ”Will things be awkward between you and Etelka? Is there anything you’d rather I not do with her? She is only fulfilling a need of mine… unless you want to fulfill it too. I don’t mind.” He spoke with yet another grin, raising a brow, and caring little to whatever issues such an arrangement would cause as he really saw no down side, at least for him. Wrapping his arms around her suddenly he held the rabbit-girl tightly in his arms, squeezing her almost, as he kept the demon close to him for a minute or so, enjoying her warmth.

Loosening his hold a little, he then let his hands travel up and down her body slowly. He smirked, enjoying the feel of her familiar body. ”Feels just like old times... want to relive them?” He whispered in a teasing tone, knowing he was pushing his luck as he had only just earned some form of trust from the girl. But, that was Ruzik for you.

"That reminds me I was thinking we should have a class party of sorts after we all have a full practice in our teams. I'm not sure who all would want to come since some of our class mates are downers, but Kou you would come right I know Cleo would come and we could convince Bugby." Raising his stare towards the mage, the demon narrowed his gaze slightly. Unlike his teammates, he wasn't exactly they party-goer and fun-lover as they were. The whole concept of a party was not his idea of fun, which was hardly a surprising thing to know.

”Like hell you'll convince Bugby.” He huffed and sat up straight, crossing his arms against his chest. ”You think I w--.”

"You’ll come, won’t you Bugby?" Cleo spoke, pulling the demon closer as she wrapped an arm round him. Though the boy merely sighed and sulked, he eased up a little once the girl released him. "Of course you will! Anything for the group, eh Buggie?" Once able to speak, he remarked, ”If you two think you can persuade me into attending such a thing you have another thing coming - I am not going to some lame party.” Sitting back in his seat the demon kept his arms crossed. ”Feel free to try, but it wont work.” The demon challenged with a confident look.

It was hardly the first time ones were trying to drag him to some party, his parents were quite well-known for holding grand balls within their demon community, but their son never graced his presence at many, and most likely this little party would gain the same reaction from the demon.

Just then he saw another demon arrive at their table, requesting the audience of Kou. The girl bid the group goodbye as she left with the red-haired demon, and Bugby merely gave a nod of acknowledgement, before returning his stare to the mage and demon. “Since it looks like we’re done eating, what do you two wanna do now?" Cleo asked the boys, though Bugby didn't answer at first. “We could go somewhere else, or try hunting down some of the other people from our class. I’m not entirely sure what we’re doing after lunch, so, we could even practice together as a group in the meantime."

”Oh goodie, teamwork.” He muttered in a weird, joking manner. ”I'm sure whatever we end up doing we'll run into the other students anyway, they're bound to be floating around here and there. I know there's a park near the academy, we could do things there.” He suggested, though overly not really caring. If he was going to be stuck with this mage and demon then it didn't matter where he went really.

”You’re so easy to read, you know that?” She had been anticipating that comment, although it wasn't Kou's fault her hair totally gave her away. She wasn't sure how it worked, but when she felt certain emotions her hair, ears, and tail would go between pink and blue. A chill ran down her spine as Ruzik ran his hands through her locks, making her a bit nostalgic. ”I missed your heartbeat. It was very soothing, and the loveliest one ever. But now that I am here, there are so many heartbeats and I feel I am getting overwhelmed.”

"It must not be easy to think with all that noise in your head," Kou teased as Ruzik returned his hands to his sides. She placed a palm on his chest, feeling his heartbeat beneath her fingertips. To Kou it was nothing more than a rhythmic thump. ”Will things be awkward between you and Etelka? Is there anything you’d rather I not do with her? She is only fulfilling a need of mine… unless you want to fulfill it too. I don’t mind.” Kou shook her head, she would rather Ruzik not tell her what he and Etelka were doing behind closed doors. "I don't care what you do with her, plus I doubt she'd be too pleased if you called it off, but if she's ever not there and you need it," Kou leaned close to his ear, which wasn't hard to do since he was already hugging her. "I'd be happy to fulfill them."

”Feels just like old times... want to relive them?” Kou was about to answer with a remark about how they just made up when she heard a familiar voice. Two, familiar voices actually. "Shit, my mage is over there." Kou whispered and grabbed Ruzik's hand, pulling him out of view quickly. Her swift movement caused her to trip and Kou somehow managed to make them both tumble into a bush, hitting her head in the process. Kou's mind swum for a second and when it came back to the surface she realized that Ruzik was on top of her. She could hear Etelka and Hanako pass them, the wheels of Hanako's chair creaking with the effort of moving across the grass. Once they were gone Kou sighed in relief and looked up at Ruzik with a mischievous smile. She had no dirty intentions, but decided to slide her hands up his shirt in a seductive manner before stealing his glasses and putting them on, giggling like mad in the process.

All of a sudden Ruzik felt Kou grab his hand and pull the both of them to the side; the demon didn’t even get a chance to spy on the rabbit-girls mage as she threw the pair into a bush after the girl stumbled. Ruzik landed on top of Kou as he eventually got his bearings, realizing where they had landed. He heard two people passing not long after, presumably the ones Kou was trying to avoid.

”Haven’t we grown up a little from fumbling in the bushes?” He joked as he leaned back just a little, as Kou then ran her hands up his shirt, snatching his glasses before wearing them herself. She giggled, and he laughed, as he ran a hand through his hair. ”You look pretty funny.” Though not necessarily needing the glasses all the time, his eyesight was not entirely perfect either, as he scrunched his eyes a little towards her – not that he’d admit it. His eyesight was a slightly touchy subject since it was deemed as a weakness of his, and normally he wouldn't let anyone take them but since it was Kou he really didn't mind. ”Just don't break those, heh.”

Just then Ruzik got an odd feeling in the pit of his stomach, so much so that it caused him to sit upright and look around as if distracted by something. He knew what it was - it was his hunger that was now beginning to stir after a rather long slumber. Perhaps the mages who had brought him here had given him something, since he did find it odd that he hadn’t been feeling like this until now, though today had been a day full of experiences to say the least. It wasn’t pleasant, as the heartbeats he regularly heard began to grow louder, though not so much that he couldn’t hear everything else. At its worst however, Ruzik could be completely deaf to all outsides noises as the beatings of hearts would consume him. But he wasn’t at that stage yet.

”So… why were you avoiding your mage?” He asked, raising a brow. He tried to distract himself as he refocused his stare onto the rabbit-girl. He didn’t want to ruin their moment, though concealing such a thing was not easy especially when surrounding by so many hearts. Plus Kou wasn’t exactly a stranger to him, she knew the demon and was accustomed to his ways and habits and could no doubt tell when something was not quite right with him.

Leaning forward he plucked the glasses off from the girls face, before twirling them round and sliding them back onto his own and regaining his full sight. He smiled a little, adjusting the glasses until they sat just right on his face. A sharp pain struck his stomach again as the demon hunched over a little, before forcing himself upright as he slid off the girl and sat beside her on the grass. ”You know... this sort of reminds me of one of our picnics, doesn't it?” He chuckled a little, as he dug around in one of his pockets and brought out the small tube of tablets he was given earlier - supposedly to assist with his cravings though the demon was doubtful. With a huff, he raised his hand back before throwing the tube into the air as it landed somewhere else in the garden. He didn't care if Kou saw him or not, as he crossed his arms against his chest. ”This academy is so stupid... how did we end up here?” Ruzik sighed and threw his head back to look at the sky, hoping to preoccupy his mind and hunger.

Kou rolled her eyes at his comment, her smile never wavering. Yes, they were about fifty years older now; or at least Kou believed so. She had lost track of her age a long time ago. ”You look pretty funny.” This earned another giggle and Kou promised she would be careful with his eyeglasses. Her smile dipped a bit when he sat up and looked around, a puzzled expression suddenly adorning Ruzik's handsome face. Kou frowned and propped herself up on her elbows, giving him a sideways stare before asking, "What's wrong?" Although Ruzik didn't bother answering, instead he countered with a question of his own.

”So… why were you avoiding your mage?” Kou sighed, she didn't really want to answer although she knew that if she didn't do it now the question would come up again later. "I don't trust humans," Ruzik was aware of Kou's dislike for the mortal species. Humans were an ugly kind that took what they wanted and had no consideration for those around them. They killed and ate Kou's family, which is why she had no qualms with slaughtering their species in return. Hanako, while a mage, was still human and Kou wasn't really sure what to make of the wheelchair bound girl yet, she had requested that they work together and get along but for the rabbit-demon there was still a sense of unease. How the head staff at the school expected them all to work together so readily was beyond Kou. "Etelka jumps like a dog whenever Hanako calls, but I'm not ready to serve some pesky mage."

Ruzik took his glasses back then and slid off of her, allowing Kou to sit up and sit criss-cross style. ”You know... this sort of reminds me of one of our picnics, doesn't it?” She nodded her head, the smile she had been wearing returning once more. "Yeah, it does. I remember I used to feed you the hearts we ripped out by hand," they would have a pile of them and Kou's fingers would be covered in human blood by the end.

”This academy is so stupid... how did we end up here?” It was a good question, Kou wasn't exactly sure of the answer herself. "I guess we were naughty enough to attract the attention of the headmaster?" Kou replied. "I think for a lot of the demons here it's a last chance sort of school. Like if we fail here we're not allowed back into the real world or something." A week before Kou's arrival an admissions officer had appeared at the shrine, informing Kou that her attendance was mandatory and should she fail to comply they would send a mage to bring her in. He hadn't explained what would happen if she failed, but Tsukuyomi had made it clear that she would return back to the moon as his pet once more if she did not learn to cooperate.

"It is stupid though because as soon as we graduate we can go back to being our terrible selves with the added bonus of knowing how to wield our abilities."

"I don't trust humans, Etelka jumps like a dog whenever Hanako calls, but I'm not ready to serve some pesky mage." Ruzik nodded here and there, he could understand the girl's point and see where she was coming from. However, he wasn't entirely sure where his own views lay - did he trust humans? He didn't actually know. Maybe he never really thought about until now. He had only really killed them for their hearts, so what did it matter of he trusted them or not?

He watched the girl sit up beside him, "Yeah, it does. I remember I used to feed you the hearts we ripped out by hand," His stomach made a noise just then, prompting the demon to hug his stomach awkwardly. Though there was no students near them, Ruzik could always hear far-off heartbeats regardless. ”Those were fun times.”

"I guess we were naughty enough to attract the attention of the headmaster? I think for a lot of the demons here it's a last chance sort of school. Like if we fail here we're not allowed back into the real world or something." It was an interesting thing she said. If he failed here would Ruzik be denied leaving, ever? That was not a comfortable thought. Ruzik didn't want to be kept at the academy longer that was needed - he didn't want to be there in the first place. "It is stupid though because as soon as we graduate we can go back to being our terrible selves with the added bonus of knowing how to wield our abilities." Hearing that brought a grin to the demons face. Quite, as long as he could pretend to be good then there was a higher chance that he could be released, and continue his old way of life.

”I can't wait to leave, I just want to go back to my old life... as pointless as it may seem it is the only way I know to exist,” Though pretending to be a good demon would be harder that it seemed, as Ruzik knew existing within the academy would prove challening. ”I don't know why they brought me here, its not like I am like other demons. I need to be free, not imprisoned, or else I may end up killing in here.” He let out a sigh, leaning to the side as he rested his head against Kou's shoulder. Gazing up to her the demon tried to smile a little, as he traced a finger up and down her arm.

”Hey, what do you say we just run away from here? And never look back. I can't stay here and be good, you know that. At some point I won't be able to resist the hearts.” It was hard to tell whether he was concerned or even cared, as the demon was merely stating fact if nothing else. He could feel his insides begining to ache a little, causing the redhead to cling onto the girls arm more. ”Lets just leave this place, I want to go, Now! But I need your help... or else something bad will happen, and someone here will be heartless.” Was he threatening her? Or again, just stating facts. He was visibly desperate to leave, that was obvious. Though at times Ruzik was hard to read. He would do anything to get what he wanted regardless of what, or who, got in his way.

Just then he grabbed her arm and pulled the girl even closer to him. ”You have to help me, Rabbit.” His tone wasn't friendly, and with his hunger beginning to rattle within him Ruzik was starting to drop his mister nice guy act.

Kou frowned, concern written across her face when his stomach growled. So he was hungry? Kou had spent enough time with Ruzik to know what would come next if he didn't get something to eat soon. She bit down on her lip, not hard enough to make it bleed, not yet at least. ”I can't wait to leave, I just want to go back to my old life... as pointless as it may seem it is the only way I know to exist,” that was probably the case for most demons here. ”I don't know why they brought me here, its not like I am like other demons. I need to be free, not imprisoned, or else I may end up killing in here.”

"Then you and your roommate will get along fine, he seems to have major blood lust." Kou hadn't actually spoken to Hive, but from what she had seen of him he had some sort of agenda. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up when he leaned his head on her shoulder and traced a finger up and down her arm. It did not feel right, the loving succubus was slowly being replaced by a crazed demon. ”Hey, what do you say we just run away from here? And never look back. I can't stay here and be good, you know that. At some point I won't be able to resist the hearts.” He grabbed her arm then, his nails digging into her flesh. Kou didn't move, she wasn't sure yet if he had hurt her intentionally or if it had simply been a sudden action. "I have to pretend to be good for now, I'm being watched." Kou replied with a shake of her head.

”Lets just leave this place, I want to go. Now! But I need your help... or else something bad will happen, and someone here will be heartless.” Kou could see that Ruzik was in pain, he was not used to being hungry; he was used to taking what he wanted. That bottle he had thrown before? Perhaps it was something that would have helped? Regardless she was beginning to wonder if he had been sincere or was simply looking for someone stupid enough to help him break out.

”You have to help me, Rabbit.” That was the final straw. Kou's hair turned blue, she bit down on her lip hard enough to draw blood and wrenched her arm from his grip. "Don't ever call me rabbit!" Kou hissed. If it was in a cute, pet-name type way she didn't mind, but the way Ruzik had said it made it seem like she was simply some animal. "Come on," Kou hoisted Ruzik to his feet, forming a mini blood knife in her free hand in case things got dicey. Kou was not going to help him escape from the school because they had no real plan and simply walking out the front gates was out of the question but if she could find that bottle he had thrown then maybe they could get him satiated long enough to find Ruzik some real sustenance.

Kou realized that this was the third time today she had dragged him somewhere, however unlike the other two times it was a life or death situation. She walked along the path, not caring who saw them and searched for the bottle. Finally she found it in the grass and knelt down, picking it up and holding it out to Ruzik. "Take one, maybe it'll help until we can get you something real to eat." The way Kou phrased it made it seem like a suggestion, but her tone implied otherwise. If Ruzik refused then she would shove one down his throat herself.
