Biography: Rosa is the second and last child of Lilly and Mario Guzman, a biracial couple from Venezuela. Lilly's parents were missionaries to Venezuela who brought their 17 year old hormone stricken daughter, Lilly, along. Their she fell in love with Mario Guzman a local farmer's son who had taught himself English, by the time her parents were ready to head back to the States Lilly had gotten married. So at the age of 18 the young woman waved good bye as her parents got on a plane and left her happily married to man she loved in a country whose language she could barely speak. The couple had two children Anthony and Rosa whom they raised in a middle class Mexican home. At the age of 12 Rosa and her family got duel/citizenship to America in order to live with her grandparents for a year and experience the American life. The family lived with Lilly's parents outside New York City for approximately one year but that was all it took for Rosa to decide that New York was where she wanted to spend the rest of her life. So she returned to Venezuela and begged her mother to teach her English so that she could go back to America. So with her parents compliance and financial support she returned to New York City when she turned 18 and attended NYU working on an education degree. Here she met Jayce and four years later was married and at 8 months pregnant on her honnymoon cruise.

Personality: A sweet young woman with a positive outlook on life. There isn't many things that can get her down and she doesn't have to try hard to see the best in people. Unfortunately her quality of seeing the best in people often leaves her to be naive to people's true intentions and overally trusting. This being said Rosa works best with children who seldom are able to prove her wrong when she sees the best in them. Though she is a sweet young woman who would do just about anything to appease people and lighten an otherwise gloomy mood don't think you can run all over her. Rosa does have her moral limits and she does have a shard of backbone, enough to refuse people when they ask too much of her. She is a hardworking woman whom tries her best to improve others lives and lives with the belief that nothing is impossible.
