Ocenia

Yes I'm a princess, but that doesn't mean I can't handle myself.

0 · 1,159 views · located in Hes Un Morra

a character in “The Tale of Three Worlds”, as played by Fatal_Flaw_Enki

Description

Age: 22
Type: Beastly humanoid/ human mix

She has very fair skin, one of the palest in her current country. She stands about 5'7" and has a slim curved figure. Her eyes are a beautiful blue-green that typically matches the oceans of Ophidia. Her hair is cropped short and has a messy look to it. A golden woven beret given to her by her mother is always in her hair to keep some of the stray strands from falling into her face during battle. It is often that she carries a winged staff made out of the finest blue gold with the design in a metallic silver. Between the middle of the sphere that has the two wings a top it are little flecks of light that float within, moving from side to side at all times. These flecks resemble the life force of her rod. Her clothing, due to her status, is very elegant. With rich colors of red, flowering designs in the patter of blues and silvers. She typically wears a skirt that parts in the front attached to a pair of shorts that are in the same type of material. She wears fine jewelry at times, but not often because she doesn't want to damage anything that has coast too much money.

Image

Ocenia, unlike some of the natural Vall and humans was blessed with two forms. Her Vall form does not occur often, typically only during very stressful events or battles. This form has even paler tones than her human form and is blessed with a set of wings whiter than the first fallen snows of Ophidia. Her hair grows to about mid-waist and holds a very pale white that seems grey in comparison to her beautiful wings. Typically she would be in the same clothing that she would wear around the palace, but to trick some of her caretakers Ocenia had figured out how to warp her magical abilities to change the clothing to a tatter old grey dress that fit to her body almost perfectly. It flows around her like a ghost reflection to what she has become. The only person who knows about this alternate form at her palace would be her Professor Ka'dar. It was a secret that was kept to the two of them so not to frighten the people of Ophidia more.

Personality

Ocenia is a very shy person at first. This has grown into her because she was use to her father dealing with a lot of people and telling her to listen instead of talk. With this she has grown into a very quiet young woman, though she will speak to those she has grown fond of, gotten to know, or when she is angry. Once Ocenia opens herself up to those around her she is a very sweet loving person who wishes that the small battles that play out between the three kingdoms would fall short allowing peace to travel throughout the lands, though these are similar ideals to her mother. When agitated, Ocenia will lash out, often using magic that typically causes more annoyances.

Ocenia is also known to the people as a "Peaceful Spirit" this is due to her abilities to control the emotional levels in the room. Often she uses a flute that she keeps on her at all times to play music to sooth the souls of the irritated. This goes along with her personal opinion to bring balance and peace to the three realms.

Though Ocenia is known for these personality behaviors she does have an alternate side to herself as well. Involved in her fighting she can change from her human form to a form more like her Vall nature, a blessing and a curse her Professor has informed her. This change in her body also effects her personality, making her a little harder to deal with. She becomes more blunt with her words and typically ignores even more instructions than her normal personality would. In this form as well she uses her music to consume people to the point of controlling their own body to her will. This is how she typically tries to win battles, though if the music goes unheard she is not able to control the bodies. At times this form can stick with the princess for a few days, though it usually wares off when she is out of danger.

Equipment

Her elegant clothes that her parents provide her. The beautiful staff that was made for her to use her magical abilities. A small flute, this is with her at all times because her main magical ability is to calm people with the music she produces. She is known as a peaceful spirit for a reason. Another object she keeps with her at all times is the beret in her hair that was given to her by her biological mother.

Training

Ocenia is a magi in her abilities, meaning she can use magical properties. Her main source of power comes from music which she omits through a small flute that she keeps on her person. Ocenia was trained well by person tutors in both magic and combat, though she would prefer to stay out of fights and work on the sidelines with her abilities. At one point her father had pointed Yo'Von as her personal trainer to bring up her own experience in weaponry. Through a lot of hard work he managed to help her work with some daggers of her own, the only weapons she could move with freely without harming herself along with anyone else. But her main training came from a Professor Ka'dar from the Opal Spire who specialized in healing and water properties. Soon she mastered many different abilities that keep her on her toes with everyone. The people may love her, but she can only show so much power before they begin to fear her for all the magic she holds dear to her.

In her private lesson she had also unlocked an ability that shocked both her and her professor. She was able to break the seal from her human body and turn into her Vall counterpart. This was achieved through irritation and anger. Because Ocenia is often a calm person, her professor started to try and train her to control her counterpart. With this he was able to bring trigger memories to bring out the woman that was hidden deep within the princess, once she mastered this she was able to change at will to the Snow Angel, as they called her. Though before she decided to disappear on the castle they were still trying to figure out how to return her to her natural state without having to wait for the effects to ware off.

History

Ocenia was born in Konclave to a human mother who had mated with a beastly-humanoid from the Herth. Upon realizing that their daughter had given birth to a child with a beastly father, Ocenia's biological mother was thrown out of her own home. With a small baby girl in her arms the new mother had no idea what to do with the child, but she knew they would not both survive out in the cold of winter. Traveling for the longest time the mother managed to find people helped her travel to Ophidia. Within the Realm of Order, Ocenia's mother tried to find a good home for her daughter, but no one wanted a Konclave child in their home, let alone a Konclave child that had dabbled in some Herth blood as well.

Beginning to lose hope that her child would ever leave a peaceful happy life, the new mother heard rumors that the King and Queen of Ophidia were having troubles giving birth to their own children. The queen had many miscarriages and was soon declared unable to had children. Hope had been lost for the king and queen, but the mother had an idea. She made her way to the castle and was able to convince a guard to let her speak with a maid. The maid agreed to the pleading mother's wishes and told her to stay at the front gate while she presented the lovely child to the queen and her king. As soon as the woman vanished into the doors of the castle, the new mother made her way into the crowds and vanished. She would never know what happened to that lovely red-brown haired child of hers.

The queen was shocked to hear what the maid had to say about the lovely little girl in her hands. She responded with a yes at first, but then demanded to speak with the mother to find out reasons for wanting to depart from her own child, but the maid was never able to find the lady. Worried that the child would die without her help and excited to finally have a child to call her own, the queen accepted the vanishing woman's wishes and raised the child of her own. At first this caused protest from the people of Ophidia, but they soon noticed the love and kindness their queen and king showed to this child and accept the young girl to be their princess. Now Ocenia is a well-known magician in Ophidia. She is known for her water, ice, and healing abilities along with her calming musical abilities. People sometimes worry that the princess could use her music to force people to fight, but the young woman has not tried this and doesn't plan to anytime soon if possible.

Now at the age of 22 she wonders about herself and the vanishing woman that was her biological mother. The queen and king never hid who the girl really was. She knew that her mother was human, but wondered what her father was. Due to her magical touch she thought he could have been an Orlary, but she does not look remotely similar to the Orlary people. Instead she came down to the conclusion that he may have been another human or even a Vall with a beastly twist. She discovered this after one night of playing her flute when the queen, her mother, stepped into her bedroom and claimed to see faint wings on the young girl's back. This caused her more curiosity from that point to where she started to talk to her tutor about her mother's claims. Within a few months of her birthday they were able to discover ways to change her into her Vall form, but not completely figure out how to return her back to normal before she decided to follow after Von.

Ocenia decided to follow Yo'Von one day after a summoning from her father. It had been after a large upset between the three family members. Deciding that she wanted to learn more about her true parents, she argued that traveling through the realms would be the only way to discover who she really was, though her father had to argue. His argument stated that she was now the daughter of a very well-known king and queen who would soon need an heir to replace them. Though Ocenia was not their biological daughter she was the absolute closest relative the queen and king had to keeping their name on the throne. It had also been a very rough time for them as well to have the young woman claiming to find out more about her heritage since the council in Ophidia were attempting to converse with the king on said matters anyway. When Yo'Von had been summoned to the palace, Ocenia took this opportunity to sneak away with him without his realization. She had taken a few coins that would keep her healthy in food and supplies along with places to sleep. Though at one point in their travels the princess had gotten the wrong times on a departure and was separated from the man she was staying so close to. It was weeks before she heard about the Wind Spire departing from Konclave that she decided to hop aboard. It did not matter where it took her, she just needed to move from the Brass City for she had already found as much information as she could in this single location.

So begins...

At first she had not noticed, Ocenia was oblivious to her surroundings almost at all times. In the city with her father and mother she had over heard their conversation of an invitation that had brought Von away from the castle to Konclave to meet the King Marduk. Curiosity, took the young lady and she found herself following from a distance. When she arrived to Konclave her interest in the different culture and architecture rendered her lost within the large city. It had only been hours before she had located an airship that she stowed herself upon. Whether it would take her back to the Realm of Order to her father, the king of Trovan'kall or not was barely a concern to the young woman.

Her intentions were to find someone to ask directions, but instead slumber brought her to a crate room where she slept till the Sky Ship decided to flight. It had only been a few hours of sleep, but her body ached as if it had been a few days on the wooden floors in the bottom halls of the aircraft. Deciding that a crew would more than likely be on board at this point, she decided to duck through the crates through the halls. The longer she wandered the more she realized how much of a sore thumb she was on the craft. Her clothing was still rich in the vibrant reds and purples of her status at home. Her brown hair fell down in a short clean style, while her pale skin showed she was not nearly what she seemed. It was rare that anyone even mistaken her as a Vall because she looked so human. Without her own mental force, her Vall like features did not appear unless accessed.

Becoming lost in the sky ship, Ocenia started to just hope that she found someone to ask directions or talk to. Instead she had not noticed that she entered an area that held a couple of the group members that were part of some mission she had been uninformed of. Considering she was not invited to see King Marduk nor had she been in the Reception Hall to talk to him about said mission. Instead, Ocenia had backed into the one person she had hoped to avoid. The one person who would probably send her back to her adoptive parents, Yo'Von. "Ouch..." she had not meant to run into anything so quickly, it was what she got for not paying attention. When her soft ocean-green eyes slowly scrolled up the man she had run into and a little squeak slipped past her lips as she backed up a bit on the floor. "Sorry..." she said quickly.

Von Dranosk
Brass City:Docks/Ship

Von had been standing outside his quarters since Rioma originally left, Deciding it was more prudent to wait for her to sound the bell for everyone to meet on deck for his announcement. He waited patiently for the sound to ring out above and bellow deck. But for his own surprise he wasn't alone in the corridor, and an unknown figure slightly bumped into him from behind.
He turned quite fast in an attempt to trying and catch the person before they recovered and found himself looking down on a woman who was not part of the crew. Trying his best to keep his calm he was nice enough to help the girl. "Well miss.. am I to consider that there might be a stowaway before me?" He voiced as he took her hand to help her stand straight "You could of always requested to..try..an..." His speech and face go slightly slack as his eyes set on the young woman's face and he is bereft to realize who it was before him.

"P!..Princess?.. His voice slightly stammered by the intrusion of such erratic thought going rampant in his mind.
The last time he remembered seeing her was during his last visit to see the king some months ago and only then it was still a business endeavor.
There was an inherent twist in him as his body wanted to at least court her presence like he was still in the service of her father, but for the most part he attempting to stifle more then just a few strange reactions coursing through him.
"How are you?...Why are you?..
He was unable to form a sentence that would correctly question the young royal and his time for that would have to wait as the sound of the garrison bell was hear ringing in the distance of the lower deck. Von was force to take some form of action as he took a light grip of her arm and opened his cabin door once more coaxing her inside. He looked at her with a deep intent as he spoke.. "By all that is grand and holy do not leave this room.. we will finish with this later." He closes the door and locks it with his key that is produced from his breast pocket and quickly puts it away. But before he can wholly step away from her confines he places his face against the door and lightly yells "And don't touch anything.."

He began to walk away and settle himself using his hand to comb his hair back that got unsettled and straightened his tunic, He stepped out from the entrance and made his way towards to the main deck. As he walked he passed Rioma who was still giving timed rings of the large iron bell, striking it in the right order to let the crew know of the assembly.
Only shortly after passing her did she get the inclination to stop and shortly followed in step behind Von, as well the rest of the crew where pouring from below deck to get all hands present. Von looked out over the crowed of familier faces to see the three guest he hand inquired during his time in Konclave and noticed that for some reason they had started their own entertainment. But the fact that one of which was now taking an unintentional nap on the deck was something that he was slightly sorry he missed the cause of. The gathering of boots on the deck was enough to garnish his attention away from the instance at hand and he soon found himself setting his gaze upon his crew.

He leaned against the rail overlooking the main deck and slightly cleared his throat.."As most of you may have heard.. I was called here on the request of the council. Now as it seem it was actually the higher powers of Konclave that requested my presence." He caught a glimps of four new additions to his crew a thought crossed his mind about new blood for the ship since they where running on a light crew from the start.
Most of the ambient chatting goes quiet for him as he continues "It was the Seer's.. and they have requested our services in an urgent matter that requires our utmost attention." He began to paced slowly on raise deck as Rioma stepped forward and she was soon followed up by the same goblin from before that quickly assailed Keyra and Sevral. She in turn was in tow of a larger male goblin who had many of the same features she did, save for his hair being cut tragically shorter and his tinted eyes where also duller in color. She was tussling with him in order to get below deck and was scrambling with a small metallic device clinched in both hands.

Von gave several raps of his foot against the deck to get her attention and when she looked at him it was like a command to be calm overcame her allowing Von to continue. "Now I know that many of you have very little love or trust for the higher council and I understand that you do. But cannot overlook that this is a prime opportunity for us to make fare more coin then any of you could think." Many of the faces present perked up and more attention was given too the subject as he stared back "That's right.. for anyone that comes and assist in this matter I am offering five times the pay and when the mission is complete a whole years wages for everyone."
Many of the voices began to pick back up and several vocal quids could be made out from others as a tone of excitement came over them. "So.. who is with me?" Von says holding his arms aloft to encompass the sigh before him and his question is met with a fervent cheer from the crew.
Von only smiled at the enthusiasm that was returned back to him and the grin grew with his pride. "Now before we get under way" he added "Several other guest will be joining us and I believe that you might have noticed them since boarding. He points back at the three near the bow of the ship.
"Please welcome Gavyn and Keyra when you get the chance... and do your best not to step on Sevral" Some of the crew let out a low tone of laughter as well there where several snickering noises made by a few of the woman.

Von turns around to look at the crowd once more before leaving and mentioned. "I also noticed that we have several new faces added too our little family.. Don't worry I will be attending to something for the time being but then I will get to speaking with each of you face to face." He gives Rioma a stiff non of his head "Okay Rioma.. Make ready to sail and head for the rift." She returns his look as he walks back inside the upper deck.
Rioma leans against the rail, placing all four hands on it as she leans further in. "Alright Boys!!.. Make for weigh and pull all mooring. We set sail for the rift and danger aplenty" Her voice less sweet then before as it below deeply across the whole of the main deck.
Many of the ship hands make for the starboard side of the ship and begin to call for the release of the lines which several of the dock hands assist in. Others begin gather and pull the gangplank back aboard stowing it within its own cutout relief. The crew where beginning to move like clockwork and soon the deck was flowing with constant movement and alive with the voices of their constant chatter.

Meanwhile the two goblins one towing the other behind approached Keyra and Gavy, the look on the mans face was awash with an intent to speak before the girl broke away and he had to scramble to catch her arm again.
"By the looks of it you must be the one that ma sis had gotten a hold of?"
He gives a quick glance back and forth between the two and even takes second to give a look of question as to what happened to Sevral who was still just laid out on the deck. He shakes his head for a moment and reaches into a pouch on his belt to hold out three feathers towards Keyra. "Izzy can be quite grabby with newcomers.. just letting you know that she is to be watched if she takes any kind of interest."

The way Von had started to speak to her was like any other person who had not known her father and mother, it was actually amusing until she saw the realization dawn on his features and the questions began to form in his eyes. The baffled dimples on his features made the princess want to laugh when he ushered her into a room that was close by. It was like a guard trying to shoo a dog away from the courtyards and decided to trap it instead. "Wait... I follow... what are you..." she backed into the room raising her hands as she tried to explain herself but stuttered over her own words as she was backed into a very large cabin room. It had a lot of things within its contents, but her focus was mainly on the man before her.

"Von..." the door slammed in her face as he told her not to leave the room or even touch a thing. "You can't leave me in here!" her voice trailed after him. Her fists began to slam on the door as she shouted out at the man who had locked her in the airship cabin. "How dare you lock me in here! Let me out at once!!!" her voice echoed in the hall for a moment when she heard the bell again that Von had responded to originally. Her eyes glanced around the room once his steps were silenced by distance. How had she gotten herself into this mess? Oh she knew, she stowed away on a ship and followed Von around for the past few weeks, got lost for another week and stowed away on another ship that just happened to have him as one of the travelers. At this rate she felt herself being shipped back to Trovan'kall to her angered mother and father, not that she had left on pristine conditions anyway.

Before exploring her prison, Ocenia banged her hands on the door again shouting out "Anyone out there? Please let me out!" and other commands that a distressed woman would shout. Though with not one response, Ocenia began to examine her surroundings. Don't touch anything rang through as she saw all the different objects that littered the room. Some looked very old, while others could have been recorded as magical objects from the Trovan'kall kingdom. Her little hands fluttered over some of the objects, her imagination racing with ideas of what they were used for, but her fingers did not linger long enough to harm any of the objects. As her eyes scanned the room, she found a window in the far back that was large enough for the dainty woman to slip through.

Lingering over the latch, the princess of Trovan'kall flicked it open and pushed the glass pane out letting in a cool breeze. She poked her head out the window and noticed that the ship had started to move only slightly, not enough to put her in too much danger. Glancing around the nearby area she found a rope that was fluttering close to the window she was peeking out of. "That will work..." she told herself. She pulled her head out of the window and realized that she was not tall enough to climb through without hurting herself. Again, she went through the room and found a table that could help her. Ocenia removed all the objects on the table placing them on the bed and then pushing it up against the wall under the window. Soon she was half out the glass panel reaching her hands toward the moving rope. It was not long before she willed the rope to flutter closer to her with her magic and held onto it with one had. She was only steps away from being free. Or so she thought.

Ocenia grunted as she tried to pull herself out of the airship's window to escape the cabin that was currently her prison. When she heard steps coming down the hall she paused for a moment considering to yell out again when the steps paused. Her first instinct was to scurry out the window without care of her well-being because her immediate thought was that Von had returned from whatever meeting he had just attended. Holding her breath, she stared at the door hoping and wishing that Von would not be back already to catch her trying to escape the room he clearly stated to 'stay' in. Instead the foot falls started up again continuing down the hallway until a door opened and shut. It couldn't have been Von then who had passed the room, instead it had to be another crew member. Perhaps they would be able to help her, but then again, what if Von had given orders for someone to check on the door to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. She could not clearly risk being sent back home now that she had been gone for over a month.

With a firm grip on the rope, Ocenia tugged on it to make sure that it was well secured to the boat somewhere. After a few good pulls, the princess decided that the rope was well tied and would be able to hold her weight as she climbed it out of the room. Finally, her feet were on the sill and she pushed herself up enough to hang on and climb, but just as she had thought she was good a gust of wind startled the young woman and she fell from the window. Soon the rope was moving from side to side before her back landed on the window that was part of Serval and Gavyn's currently location. Thudding into the window she let out a little grunt from the impact, she was in fact lucky that she had not lost her grip on the rope or broke the glass to the room. Noticing that within the room sat two very handsome men she blushed madly before trying to scurry down the rope a bit so that not to be noticed right away.

Ocenia, now look what you have done. What are you going to do now? If you climb up they'll know that you are hanging on the rope, if they haven't already noticed. She scolded herself as she glanced around and noticed that even though they weren't quite out the docks yet, that she was still high off the ground. It would not be too smart and idea to let herself drop at this moment either. You could use a little of your magic.... but what will that do? Make a large entrance on the deck and definitly grab Von attention. Oh Holy Saints, what have I gotten myself into. Deciding that her best method would be to start climbing after peeking into the room she might have been alright. Slowly pulling herself up, her brunette hair was barely visible as she opened her large blue-green eyes to peer into the room.

THUNK!

Gavyn's attention snapped from the floor and toward the window, the loud sound catching his attention. It was far too loud to only be a mere rock, or even a bird that may have carelessly flown into the side of the boat. He turned his head slightly, his eyes narrowing slightly as he made his way over to the small window. He glanced down at the still unconscious Sevral before returning his gaze forward again. He took off his fiddle and bow, placing them beside the prone figure. He doubted that anything bad would happen to the precious instrument, and it was safer there than if something dangerous was in the window. After all, if he got into a scuttle, he wouldn't want to scratch the well-polished wood.

As he moved directly in front of the window, reaching out to open the small porthole, he saw a lovely shade of brown hair and then a pair of sea-green eyes. His own golden eyes blinked at the sight, surprised by the turn of events. How...? Ah, a rope. Perhaps a young stowaway? Or worse, someone who nearly fell from the deck. He opened the window carefully and peered at the person that swung dangerously around on the rope. Quickly, he reached down and grabbed hold of the person's arm, a female person, to keep her steady and not plummet to her death. "Ach, lass. If'n ye wanted ta come inna me room, ye'd only ask," he said with a grin, even in such a situation, teasing. Sure, this woman could be an assassin, but it didn't worry him. He was sure of his abilities and didn't doubt for a minute he would be able to defend against an assailant and protect Sevral at the same time.

"W'at are ye doin' swingin' 'bout? Yer ta catch yer death," he chided, sounding much like his mother in that instance. The thought made him pull back a moment, leading to pull the girl's arm through the window that she may be able to climb through. Yes, he was definitely homesick. "Come in. Doona mind me Mousy-Sevral. Tis a wee bit tired," he explained with a grin, moving to help the young woman into the room through the window. He was glad this ship catered to so many female crew members and didn't continue the sea-ship curse of their being bad luck on a voyage. "I be Gavyn Fynion, son ta Kentigern MacRae. An' who mig't ye be, fair lass?" he asked, leaning closer as he helped to support her weight.

Ocenia was startled as the window was opened and she noticed a fair pair of honey-gold eyes staring down at her. To her advantage the man grabbed her arm and pulled her high enough to climb into the window, though she could not help but blush at his comment. "I wasn't trying to get into your..." she paused. How was she going to explain that Von had locked her in his room and told her to stay put, when she clearly wasn't staying put in the first place. Her attention went to the young man who stayed still in the bed when Gavyn mentioned his name. It was odd that two men were sharing the same room, or that was the first thought that came to her. "S-sorry..." she rubbed the back of her head as he introduced himself in detail.

"I'm uhh..." she thought for a moment that telling him who she really was would actually put her in more trouble, but then again if she lied Von would only rat her out in the end. "Actually," she rubbed her arms nervously as she stared at the handsome man before her. "It is rather hard to say." Ocenia tried to keep her distance a bit as she looked around the room for the fastest route out if the man decided to lock her away like Von did. Oh what do you do now Ocenia... Options began to occur to her as she spotted different ways to go around this strange man and his companion to get to the door, or she could always try out the rope outside, but the last thing she wanted to do was to expose her Vall features to anyone just yet.

Putting both hands in the middle of her chest, she stared at him with her large eyes without hesitation and stated her name in a rather informal mannerism to the Trovan'kall royal family. "Thanks for helping me, I'm" she started to move around him a bit so that she was closer to the door. "Ocenia, daughter of Harrod Dalvosh..." Her voice was pleasant, like the first chirps of the spring birds, though she clearly left her usual formal greeting. Typically, it was expected of her to state that she was Princess Ocenia, daughter of King Harrod Dalvosh, but she didn't want to linger on such technicalities. "Again," she nodded her head in a slight bow, "thank you for the help. I thought I was a goner there for a moment. Bye..." She waved her hand and quickly, with a little push of her own magical ability, she gracefully moved by him in a speed that was unnatural to a typical human. Soon she was next to the door with her hand slowly turning the knob.

The grin on Gavyn's face could only widen as he saw that his teasing met with fruition, a blush forming upon the young woman's face. It wasn't that he enjoyed causing people discomfort or embarrassment, it was simply that it was so easy to accomplish. It gave him a sort of satisfaction when he was able to pull certain reactions out of people. The girl looked like a rabbit that was being cornered by a wolf, and he imagined that if someone on the outside was looking at the scenario, that would have been an accurate description. He was far too large to appear as anything but a menace from a distance. He crossed his arms over his chest as he watched her, his face one of amusement as she stuttered and tried to come up with something to say.

"In case ya didna realize, I doona say much th' rig't way, lass. It be 'ard or no'," he commented, thinking that she had meant that her name was a difficult one to pronounce. Quite suddenly, the lass went from a fearful rabbit to a doe-eyed minx and Gavyn was at a loss as to what she was trying to accomplish. He continued to observe her, his head moving as she moved to step by him, large though he was. "Ocen'a, aye? Yer welcome ta me 'elp anytime, lass," he began when she moved by him with increased speed. Magic, again, emanated from the girl and the feel of it caused the young Gryphon to widen his eyes slightly. With the reflexes of one trained in years of swift hand-to-hand combat, he reached a hand out and placed it on the door, holding it in place. Most people would have made a grab for the person, but he knew better. For first, she was a magic user, and there was no telling what she was capable of. Second, if his mother ever found out he laid hands against a woman, against her will, he would not wake up again for a month.

"Yer a magic-user," he stated more than asked, moving a bit so as to keep the door shut, but not crowd her personal space. "Doona fear, t'willna harm ye. Bu' ye look ta be o' age fer trainin' in th' arts. 'ave ye gone ta proper schoolin'? Th' Opal Spire, 'ave ye be'n 'ere?" he asked, rushing his words out which only fueled the garbled mess that they were when he was in a lazy mood. Still, this girl knew magic. She might have met his brother. The thought never occurred to him that she would have recognized him as a man she had seen at school. They were quite identical and few people could tell them apart but for their mannerisms and for those who truly spent a great deal of time with them. Still, the hope was there, and he couldn't help but hold onto it, that perhaps, maybe, she could tell him how he fared. Perhaps he could concentrate further on the mission and not worry so much as to his brother's goings on. His was quite genuine, his eyes pleading that she know something, anything.

Ocenia almost screamed when Gavyn's hand pressed against the door to keep her within the room. Again she felt trapped. Why does this keep happening to me? She asked herself before slowly turning to face the man that kept her from leaving the room. He had asked her about a school that she was familiar with only by name. Had he thought she was a rogue magic user by asking her about her schooling? Then again, perhaps he had not put her name together with her father's and clearly had no idea that she was of royalty in the Realm of Order. Taking in a deep sigh she gave him a soft smile to hid any discomfort she may have at that moment.

"I know of Opal Spire..." her voice was soft, almost uncertain of how she was going to answer the Gryphon. "But I have not taken up any classes, in fact I have a private tutor that has been teaching me how tap all my abilities." Ocenia cocked her head to one side still baring a small smile to make her seem even more innocent and calm in her current situation. When she was sure that all the information he would need was answered she nodded toward the door. "Do you think I could leave now?" Though when she asked this she wondered whether or not he would free her. Some people were eerie about the users of the magical world, but for some reason she felt that he not frightened by the magic she possessed, just cautious.

Gavyn didn't know heads or tails about the royalties of the realms, especially those of Ophidia or Konclave, and wouldn't be able to pick them out on the street if they were in robes, jewels, and a crown. He would sooner think them a band of traveling gypsies and make sure his coin was secured on his person. He knew of his Laird, the neighboring Lairds, and any rival or family name that had caused them problems in the long family history. It was honestly better that he not know someone's name, as those he was most knowledgeable about were more likely to be greeted by the end of his fist. Her answer left him crestfallen and he breathed out a heavy sigh, his shoulders visibly slumping as it became clear she would know nothing about Leathan.

"'m sorry, lass. I truly didna mean ta frighten ya," he said by way of apology. A moment later he had backed away from the door, allowing her to leave at her own discretion. "Thought ye mayhap 'ave known someone, s'all." His mood had changed so drastically between then and their first encounter. From playful and fun, to serious and inquisitive, to melancholy and quiet. He wore his emotions openly, felt them more keenly than most people did, and it was clear that it was something he could not fake. If he tried it would be very much so certain he was pretending horribly. It always got him into trouble when he was a young boy after a practical joke. "Aye, yer free. Doona be swingin' fro' no mor' ropes, aye?" he said just to make sure as he sat on the floor and leaned against the wall, reaching forward to pull his fiddle to him once more.

He wouldn't play it, he wanted Sevral to wake up, not be trapped in a coma of depression. Instead, he took the rag and oiled it well, rubbing the wood carefully. It was with a practiced hand that he worked, not even turning to see if Ocenia had left or not. He would tell by the sound of the door, but he didn't think he was in any sort of danger. If she wanted to kill him, she would have tried by now. No, she was probably another special one of the Captain's crew, though her robes were rather nice for those of a simple deckhand. He was thankful for the open window and the light breeze that blew fresh air into the otherwise stifling room. It made him forget about how small the room was and how trapped he truly felt in his predicament.

Just as she was talking to the goblin, Izzy, Gavyn had come over and hoisted Sevral up over his shoulder and made his way towards the stairs to go below decks. He had passed Sevral's unconsciousness off by saying that he couldn't handle his drink. Also adding that she shouldn't worry too much. Keyra's face was unreadable, however if one looked close enough (and she was sure that Gavyn's sharp eyes caught it) her wings twitched ever so slightly in response to his teasing words. Inside, her heart clenched slightly. The feeling was strange to her, and so she wasn't entirely sure what it was. Keyra passed it off as mere nervousness around so many people, having been used to traveling on her own for years. She noted where Gavyn headed with Sevral over his shoulder, that way she could find him after she was finished. Seating herself upon the deck, and out of the way as best as possible, she took the three feathers in hand along with her dagger.

From there she set to work at cutting tiny little holes in the stems of the feathers. It took her several minutes to do, but with the goblins attention wholly on her, she didn't mind how long it took. After finishing, she reached down to her pouch. If she remembered correctly, she had some twine or thread mixed in with the little bit of herbs and coin she carried. Once her fingers caught on the twine, she pulled it out and began threading the three feathers. It wasn't much, but it was just enough to make the necklace. With the three white feathers dangling in the center, she reached over and brushed the goblins dirty hair aside so she could tie the necklace on.

Leaning back, she admired her handy work just as Izzy picked up the feathers to look at them as they hung around her neck. Keyra smiled warmly at the goblin. With a sigh, she pushed herself upwards and patted Izzy on the head, making her way around the two goblins.

"There, make sure you don't lose them," The Vall said softly as she left them and made her way down under the deck to the rooms that Yo'Von had showed them earlier. Keyra walked up to a closed door and heard voices. At first she'd thought that Sevral had woken and relief started to flood her, but then the voice that answered the deep rumble of Gavyn's accent was much lighter and softer than Sevral's. With an arched eyebrow Keyra listened to the short conversation.

A woman... and her name is... Ocenia. Wait... Ocenia... where have I heard that name? Keyra thought as she listened in to the conversation. The door vibrated suddenly and Gavyn's voice turned serious. Keyra raised her hand, ready to knock to interrupt him, but then his question rang through the wood and she waited once more. Ocenia answered slowly, and a moment later the weight that had been resting on the door was released, the wood creaking as he moved away. Keyra then let her hand fall on the door, knocking just loud enough to make her presence clear.

She knew it was rude to eavesdrop, so she calmed her features and waited patiently for the door to open. She would ignore the woman, Ocenia, at least so that the new addition to the ship wouldn't think that Keyra had heard most of the conversation. Besides, she wanted to check on Sevral, his health coming first before the interesting new woman. Only after he was awake, would Keyra have any real interest in Ocenia. The Vall tapped her lip gently with a slender finger as she continued to roll the woman's name around in her mind.

Well, at any rate, she was sure if it was someone important, she would realize it once she saw the woman. So, Keyra stopped her tapping and put one hand on her hip, ready to great the 'stranger' and get inside to her other two companions.

Every muscle in Ocenia's body relaxed as the Gryphon stepped away from her. Her rosy lips pulled up into a bright smile lighting her eyes up as well as she nodded her head. It was very kind of him not to keep her trapped in the room or question her any further. She was starting to believe that everyone on this ship was going to try and tie her down in a room to find out more information about how she had attained her way onto the airship. Though just as the woman had started to faith into Gavyn, a sharp knock startled her from behind bringing out a small noise out of her throat as she moved away form the door putting her back to the Gryphon. It was not that she had been frightened or terrified of the knock, okay yeah she was. Anyone could have been on the other side of the door. Perhaps Von had realized that she was missing and was checking in on the rooms to see if she was hiding with someone else on the ship.

Her hands lifted to her lips and concern wrinkled its way onto her face. If she was caught again by Von she could not know what would happen. Would he return her to her father and mother? Or tell her to get of the ship at the next stop? Either way she could not risk being caught now. Quickly, Ocenia turned her attention back to the kind man who saved her form certain death and then also showed kindness to free her from the room. "You have to help me," she whispered, still fully believing that Von stood just beyond the wooden door. She decided that the quickest way to gain his help was to be honest in some aspects. "Von had me locked away in his room..." she said quickly, still keeping her voice low as her eyes glittered with worry. "I'm not suppose to be here and I'm not sure what he'll do, but for now I can't be caught. Will you please help me?" She pleaded.

It would have been more than easy for her to use magic to detect the life form that knocked upon the door, but it would also risk detection. If anyone knew her magical scent it would have been Von, for it was with some help of Von's at the palace that she was able to learn some of her most difficult spells at such a young age. Deep down she knew she could trust him, tell him everything, why she followed him and left home and found her way to this ship and he would more than likely understand her situation. But she was not able to think of that Von currently; Von had been summoned to Konclave on a very important mission and she was endangering herself to follow him. Perhaps he would understand her parents side of the story more than her own. "Please..." her voice came out in a fragile whisper.

A soft rapping on the door announced the presence of another person, most likely Keyra, just on the other side of the room. However, it was the soft gasp from Ocenia that gave him pause and again setting aside his instrument. He grinned a bit, the woman seemed so frightened over the littlest things, like a princess encountering the outside world for the first time. If only he knew how right he was...

However, it was the pleading look on her face that brought him pause and concern. He couldn't abide by a lady in trouble, no matter who the lady was. She was soft spoken and most obviously scared when she pleaded for his help. She didn't need to explain anything, he was ready to help at the moment's notice. Of course, as she explained that it was Von she feared, and that the great Captain had locked the girl within his room, Gavyn's eyes narrowed angrily. To think such a man would take advantage of such a young girl, a scared girl who seemed more willing to fall out a window than be trapped with his company. It made the noble creature's blood boil, and he fought back the snarl that echoed as a soft growl in the back of his throat. "Tis no' an excuse ta lock ye 'way in 'is cabin. Ge' by Sevral. If'n it be Von, t'willna let 'im in. I give me word," he promised, his word being his bond. He couldn't possibly break the vow once it had been made. He almost hoped it would be Von behind the door, he wouldn't mind knocking some sense into the bastard.

He waited for Ocenia to hide herself by Sevral in a corner before moving closer to the door. "Aye," he said, opening the door slightly to peer out, his eyes akin to a murderous gaze. When he saw that it was in fact Keyra on the other end, his look softened and he opened the door wider, ushering the Vall into the room while minding her wings. "Keyra-lass. I take ye ta be 'ere fer Sevral, aye? Still out, 'e tis. An' I've a frien' 'ere by name o' Ocen'a." He paused to allow the girls to see one another, assessing each other before continuing. "Tis me charge, ye doona tell any 'at th' lass be 'ere. Th' wee mouse be sleepin' still, bu' should 'waken soon. I trust ye can keep watch, aye?" he asked as he half stepped out of the room. He smiled at the group, though it was an obviously forced smile and one that was used to hide his anger. "Doona le' any in 'ere lest it be meself. I'm ta pay th' Cap' a wee visit."

Gavyn bowed graciously as he stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him as gently as he could. His visage was one of great rage as he trampled through the hallways, his large, heavy steps reverberating through the wood. He could be light on his feet if he truly wanted, but he wanted his presence known. He would not follow a man that would do such a thing to a young woman, by royal decree or otherwise. It went against every moral he had, ever sense of right and wrong. The helpless, pleading look that she had given him crossed his mind again, refueling his rage as he went above deck to find Von.

Sevral stirred, the sounds of voices recalling him to a state of consciousness. He opened his eyes suddenly and looked around. Where was he? What happened? His surroundings were unfamiliar, and he panicked for a moment as he took it all in, then realization dawned on him. That's right, he had been on the deck with Gavyn when he... Wait, did he really? No.. But then how did he end up here? Oh, that was not what he wanted to do, especially not with Keyra around. He had no doubt the girl had seen him, and he mentally kicked himself. Sevral thought for a moment, then calmed himself and took a second to check out his current situation. He'll get back to his embarrassing mishap later...

He was in a room, it looked like the ones Von had showed them on their tour. Okay, that's fine, obviously someone had moved him here. He was laying on the bed, still good, and there was a slight breeze from an open window. He eyed the room carefully, and just caught a glimpse of Gavyn exiting, replaced in the doorway by Keyra. Agh... While he was relieved to see her as always, he didn't necessarily want to be caught in such a state. He turned his head away, and was surprised as he found another inhabitant of the room. It was another girl, beautiful brown hair, and in a very ornate, obviously expensive dress. Who was she? Where did she come from? More questions swamped the man's head, feelings of nausea returning as his eyes rolled back and he struggled to stay awake. He had one hell of a headache, and this wasn't helping.

Sevral sat up to speak, and immediately wished he hadn't. His head went fuzzy again and his mind swirled, it felt like jello. He collapsed backwards onto the bed as the throbbing in his temples was amplified by his movements, and he swore again. "Agh... Damnit!" He was staring at the ceiling again, but he had to close his eyes, everything was swaying in manners they shouldn't, the wooden planks seeming to be morphing into each other and contorting in odd ways. Sevral watched this, and felt even more sick. What in earth did he do to himself, he thought as he placed his hands over his eyes and rubbed his face. He hated feeling anything less than a hundred percent, and right now he felt like just curling up and sleeping forever.

He laid still now, not caring about the two girls in the room with him, his only thoughts on the headache he now bore host to. "What the hell happened?" he managed finally as he moved his hands away and opened his eyes. The swirly-ness had stopped, but he still had to blink for a moment before placing his hands back over his face again. "There's two angels in my room, tell me I'm not in heaven..."

Keyra watched as Gavyn left the room in a near rush. Though he spoke softly to her, the look she'd received right before he'd recognized her from the hall and the strange order he'd given her, she knew not all was right with the man. Slowly, she turned her deep gaze to the woman cowering in the corner near Sevral's bed. Cocking her head off to the side, she fluttered her wings in slight agitation.

As she was about to ask the woman, Ocenia, what exactly was going on, Sevral moved. At first he opened his eyes and looked towards her before quickly looking away. Then, he tried to sit up, only to fall backwards onto the bed. Keyra, in response to his collapse, was at the bed side in a near instant. A hard rush of air could be felt as she'd used her wings to propel herself forwards. Much to the aid of the wind coming through the window as well. Her eyes watched him carefully, trying to discern what exactly was wrong with him. Her thoughts about Ocenia completely forgotten at that moment.

"There's two angels in my room, tell me I'm not in heaven..."

Keyra arched an eyebrow at his words as he put his hands over his face once more. She bit her lip to keep from smiling, and cleared her throat to fight off the laugh that threatened to escape her. An angel hu? Well... I guess the wings could have someone thinking that, especially after passing out, she thought to herself. Reaching out, she brushed his hands away and felt his forehead with her hand. He was hot, telling her that he probably had a terrible headache, no doubt the result of drinking. Keyra reached for her little pouch that had her coins and tied herbs.

Pulling out a couple of small flower like plants, she brought them to her nose to identify if they would help ease his pain. The smell was aromatic to say the least, like lavender and a minty kind of sugar mixed together. The taste, she knew, would be almost overwhelmingly sweet, but it would definitely do the trick to wash away the headache in a few minutes.

"Eat these, all of them. They taste sweet," she said softly and pressed the little flowers to his lips.

Sevral looked into the darkness of his palms as he laid back, trying not to think or do anything at all that could enrage his headache more. He then felt a hand brush his own aside, and he found himself staring into the eyes of the sweet Vall girl. He couldn't help but feel a sudden tightness in his chest with her looking down to him with such worry, and was torn between the swirling in his head, and how he felt with her gaze on him. The man couldn't help but feel embarrassed about his current predicament as well. He couldn't believe that he had just collapsed for almost no reason, and was now forced to lie here in such a state like a child. Sevral shut his eyes as the swirly-ness returned, and somehow he was also happy that he had her full, undivided attention. He just wished it was when he was in a less belittling situation.

She took her hand away and he opened his eyes again, following it into a little pouch she carried, then watched as it returned with several herbs. He caught just the slightest scent of... something familiar. The name escaped him, but he recognized mint... Or so he thought. He couldn't concentrate without feeling dizzy. Shutting his eyes again, he sighed, still unsure how he got into the situation, and still unsure about how what his preferences were on it.

Sevral felt something on his lips, and he opened his eyes again, half let down to find it was the herbs, yet somehow relieved. He expected nothing more, or so he told himself.

"Eat these, all of them. They taste sweet," she had said.

His thoughts continued to jumble in his mind, and he wasn't sure if it was the headache that caused some of the ... less rational ones. Still, he allowed himself to be fed, but turned his head away slightly as he chewed, half to hide his blushing, half to hide the face he made on account of the almost overpowering sweetness. While it wasn't vile like most medicines, it was just a bit much.

He swallowed and looked back towards Keyra, the sight of her making him feel a thousand times better. It was then he realized that he'd totally forgotten about the other girl, and he shifted his gaze towards her. "Keyra..." he said, "Who is this?"

She wondered for a moment why he turned away from her, but thought nothing of it as she watched him intently to make sure that he ate the flowers. She knew from experience the utterly overwhelming sweetness of the herb and winced inwardly. She wasn't one for sweets, and so to her the taste usually made her want to spit it back out. When he turned back to face her, he had a questioning look on his face.

"Keyra... Who is this?" he asked.

She slowly shifted her gaze to look at the young woman settled in the corner. The Vall shifted her weight, her wings rustling as she moved. Putting on hand on her hip near the weapon sheathed on her back, she answered softly.

"Gavyn said she is called Ocenia. Apart from that, I don't know who she is."

Once Keyra had set eyes on the girl, she'd put together that she was someone important. The clothing she wore was anything less than expensive, speaking brightly of her heritage. Keyra was guessing that she was some noble's daughter, or even a King's daughter. The name was familiar to her, but she couldn't place it just yet. However, Keyra figured the girl was trying to keep her true identity a secret as she huddled in the corner. Had the woman wanted her high status to be known, the Vall was sure Ocenia wouldn't be hiding in the room with them. So, she kept her thoughts to herself and instead tapped a finger gently on her hip.

"Also, I've been ordered not to allow anyone besides Gavyn into the room, though I don't think there'd be much I could do if Yo'Von came knocking," Keyra stated, looking back down to Sevral. Opening her wings slightly, she turned and seated herself on the edge of the bed next to Sevral and crossed her arms and legs. With a sigh, Keyra tossed her head, moving her hair out of her face and allowing the wind through the window to brush through the loose hair.

Von Dranosk
Brass City:Wind Mire

Not long after Von left the attention of the crew gathered on deck he began to make his way back to check up with the Princess. Rioma's orders to the crew where getting done with great speed it seemed and soon others where disappearing below deck as they moved cargo. But finally the ship began to get underway with the signal of the same bell being rung from earlier, but not by Rioma's hands. The ringing was provided by a long cord that traveled down from bellow the bell itself and straight into the deck. Then with a small shift of motion the ship was edging forward out of its dock.
The water touching the hull was slightly wavering with the now constant movement of the ship and in no time Wind Mire was free of the mooring lines. Some of the crew where only slightly taken off balance when the ship began to lift from the water, such an act was signified when the deck began to push back at the feet standing on it. Rioma had manned the wheel for the time being and was maneuvering the ship through port around and over vessels as they began to become an obstruction. But within no time Wind Mire was free of the entirety of the docks and fully away with the vision of the Brass City slowly becoming more vacant in the rear.
It had been so long since the day began that dusk was going to setting very soon as the sun of Konclave could be seen perched nicely over the western horizon. Rioma lined the ship with their destination and locked the wheel in place keeping the sight of the Rift dead in front of them, even though at this point it still looked like a spec in the distance.

Von was making it back to his quarters and took his key from his tunics breast pocket once more, the metallic clack releasing the door. As he pulled the door back and peered into the room he could already feel a deep drop in his chest as the sight of Ocenia was not anywhere to be seen.
He could feel the back row of his teeth start to grind as he mulled the instance around in his mind.."[So not only are we on a mission through the Rift but we also have a stowaway on board who also happens to be the adopted daughter of Ophidian royalty....]" He could feel a small tension in the back of the sanity section of his brain start to strain and then something caught his eye. He noticed that she had to have used the window to escape.. "[No she couldn't have.. there isn't even anything to hold on to for someone like..]" His train of though was interrupted when a thick rope came cascading by his window and made another pass as it swung back.

His teeth clenched as he could feel a small piece of the woodwork splinter under his grip.. "The damn mooring line.." escaped his mouth with a grumbled sigh.
Von made his way in and over towards the open window as he peered out into the open air with the ground below becoming more and more distant. ["At least the ship is underway so now she can't just run.."] crossing his mind as he looked back up and reached out with a long arm and a firm grip taking the line tightly. Von lightly swung himself out of his own window and began to ascend the mooring line in search of where she could have gotten off. He climbed slowly his pace even more as he looked about for signs of her shoes on the outside hull, that or something like torn fabric from her cloths and maybe even strands of her hair.

He could already start running the problem with her being found by someone else around his head, because if Rioma was in a bad mood for some reason she wouldn't go easy on the little girl.
But the idea was soon quashed in his mind when he started hearing sounds of bantering coming from the window above his, he had only climbed five feet and now that his head was slightly below the window seal he could make out several voices.

"There's two angels in my room, tell me I'm not in heaven..." He smirked a small bit when he rcognized that tone as Sevral's, that and Gavyn didn't sound so clear so the choice was obvious.
He found it ironic the only other place to go while using this escape was turning out to be only the guest rooms. Von began move himself to the left of the window by guiding the line more as he climbed and soon he could make out more from the room.

"Keyra... Who is this?" He heard Sevral question and the response that followed was heard he knew that he had the right room.
"Gavyn said she is called Ocenia. Apart from that, I don't know who she is."

Von felt it was best to let the rest of the conversation pass before he did anything, he could feel the tension in his body beginning to build in anticipation of what was going to happen.
But he took the line and held on firmly readying himself for a quick action, Von stood away from the outside hull and kicked himself away from its surface. With lightly altering his precision he was able to fall right into the window feet first and land almost right between Keyra and Sevral. His arrival was even more signified by the sound of his heavy boots on the rooms floor and he altered his stance soon after, standing there with the two crossing his arms over his chest.
Looking on at the reactions his sudden entrance provoked he could only give a grim face and voice his contempt in a sullied deep tone.

"...Hi..."

He looked down at Keyra with a type of dissatisfaction in his eyes as if he expected her to act better of the problem at hand.
"She is Princess Ocenia daughter to King Harrod Dalvosh and heir to the throne of Ophidia.. oh and I guess it was gotten to mention that she is a stowaway on my ship." He spoke in the same heavy tone as he let his vision drift over towards Ocenia.

"Why?.." He asked of Ocenia Why couldn't you have stayed in the room? We could have spoke of this after I return." "but what do I find when I get back to my Quarters?"
"Nothing?.."
"At all.. A vacant room and a missing princess. You escaped... form me of all people.. and up a dangling mooring line no less."

His voice dangling on the edge of stern and worried at the same time, it was noticable that he still cared about her and worried more for her safety then the consequences of her getting away.

Von moved over towards the young princess and laid his hand on her head giving a soft rub as he sat beside her in the corner..
"Are you okay?" He found himself asking.

Gavyn's Room
Doing as Gavyn had said, Ocenia had moved from in front of him to the corner behind the bed. She kept herself well hidden till she saw a woman walk into the door, then she allowed herself to slowly stand. It was not as if she were cowering as much now, but she was still wary of the Vall that had entered the room. The woman was just beautiful, with her purples eyes matching her deep blue strands of hair. Her skin was smooth and almost flawless, and her wings were unimaginable. At that moment Ocenia wanted to summon her own wings from her Vall nature to compare, but instead she stayed quiet in her corner and watched as the one person she could trust walked out the door, closing it behind him. How was she suppose to know that Von would not find her now? If they were further away from the docks she would feel fine with the man finding her at this moment, he would not be able to turn the ship around without losing too much time.

Just as she had thought everything would calm down Sevral stirred from his nap, no his drunken nap from the smell of it. A slight blush came to her cheeks as she heard him call them angels. Even without the wings she was an angel and it made her feel happy to know that. Noticing by the drowsy look in his eyes and the way he kept trying to hide them with his hands she had guested he was either having a hangover or a headache from the alcohol he had to have consumed, but she let the other woman go about to helping the man considering she had no idea who they were. She was all lost and forgotten till after he had consumed some leaves and asked this woman, 'Keyra', who Ocenia was.

"I'm..."

"Gavyn said she is called Ocenia. Apart from that, I don't know who she is."

"Rude..." Ocenia muttered before glancing them both over. "Her name is Ocenia would have been much nicer," she bluntly told Keyra. Ocenia, being announced most her life did not feel that the word 'called' was proper in this case. It was as if she were an animal without an actual name and her species was called Ocenia. Allowing her shoulders to droop a bit to defeat the illusion that she was all proper and princess-like, she sighed. "My name is Ocenia Dalvosh," she stated with a small smile on her face, but it quickly turned into a large frown when she had heard Yo'Von's name. "No! You can't let him in!" She had moved quickly, her magic once again helping her move like a blur until she stood in front of the door. "He can't find me here, he just can't. Please, Gavyn said he would help me and if he trusted me into your hands then you can't let Yo'Von find me!" She felt awful that once again her demeanor was reduced to pleading for these people to help her without further explanation, but she trusted Gavyn completely, these two she barely knew.

Then everything had been shattered to pieces when Yo'Von entered the room through the window with a simple greeting. He then went and exposed who she as the the two that she still had no idea who they were. She backed up against the door and narrowed her eyes. "You should know better than anyone on this ship I'm not good with orders, or even being locked up." Her hands turned to fists as she glared at him. Then she pushed his hand away from her. "Of course I'm fine." Her body language went from angered to confused as she stood near the door. "Are you going to send me home?" she asked softly, turning her gaze to the floor.

Sevral looked at the girl, somewhat shocked. He was well aware of the name, though he had never seen her before. What on earth was the Princess doing here? He managed to prop himself up on an elbow as Keyra sat down, and he looked from one to the other, not entirely sure who to focus on at the moment. His headache was already clearing in the few moments since he had taken the herbs, and he was grateful.

He looked onto Ocenia now as she spoke, stating that she preferred to not be introduced in such manners, that it was demeaning. Sevral thought on this, and he supposed that if he lived such a life, that sort of explanation as to who he was would be rather irritating. He sighed as he attempted to sit up, again, but failed as his movements merited a recall of pain. He was about to speak, when suddenly his headache was replaced by a heart attack.

The poor swordsman nearly threw himself out of bed in a panic, and just managed to stifle a scream as a body came soaring in through the window, passing between himself and Keyra. Sevral's heart was racing as he moved his hand to his waist, intending to draw his sword though knowing that in this position he could do almost nothing. He trusted himself to move fast enough, but still, he had no doubt he'd collapse again. He looked up, and found the intruder to be none other than the Captain.

"...Hi..." he stated simply.

Sevral smiled not so much for any reason as he put his hand to his chest, feeling the pounding of his heart. He began laughing, chuckling more so to himself with what seemed to be a mixture of fear, surprise, and several other emotions. He shut his eyes, laying back again as he felt the headache return. "Good... lord..." he managed as he attempted to control this nervous laughter. "What the hell...?" The man was lost for words, he simply laid there, once more staring at the ceiling. It was then however that he realized no attention was being paid to him as Von was completely focused on Ocenia. He took a deep breath to calm himself and looked over towards Von, who's face had just turned from stern, to worried. He listened to Von speak to her, inquiring about why she had refused to stay in his quarters.

He looked to Ocenia who had gone on the defensive by the door as she spoke, her hands clenching into tight fists. "You should know better than anyone on this ship I'm not good with orders, or even being locked up. Of course I'm fine." She suddenly looked down in a manner that reminded Sevral of a cowering puppy after doing something wrong. "Are you going to send me home?" she asked quietly.

Sevral took a moment to regather himself, and sat up, this time successfully. He looked at Von, Ocenia and Keyra, unsure exactly what to do. "If I may..." he began, speaking more so to Von. "First off, please, never do that again... And second, I'd like to know why on earth we have the Princess on board, and why it's my room that everyone chose to gather in." The last few questions were directed to nobody in particular, he simply waited for whomever decided to respond.

Ocenia responded in a somewhat snippy manner to Keyra's introduction of her. This, however, settled the suspicions that the Vall had to begin with. Her tone and mannerism spoke louder than what she was trying to act. So, she is of royalty. As I thought, Keyra shifted her body just enough to look over her shoulder at the Princess. Keyra didn't speak, only gazed at the girl in silence. The fact that the Vall had been trying to help keep the woman's royalty a secret as she had first thought was wanted, made Keyra angry slightly that the woman would respond to her in such a way.

At the mention of Yo'Von, Ocenia was on her feet and blurting out a string of sentences that Keyra could barely keep up with. Raising a thin eyebrow, her wings fluttering in slight agitation, Keyra only watched the girl without answering. If Ocenia had to plead with the Vall to keep her hidden, then there was no need to respond. Had Keyra wanted to give Ocenia back to Yo'Von, she would have done so to begin with. However, the reason she hadn't was because she wasn't sure of the entire story, nor had she been positive if the woman was royalty or not.

However, at the sound of her pleading, Keyra had half a mind to find the Captain and hand her over. She had no use for a woman who couldn't do something herself, not to mention it was slightly annoying. To her utter surprise, though, Yo'Von came into the room via the window. It was a grand (if not startling) entrance to say the least, and Keyra found herself looking up at the Captain with her mouth opened slightly and her heart in her throat. She hadn't even realized he'd been outside the window. That alone was an accomplishment for very few. Keyra usually knew when people were around, a skill garnered from her tracking abilities.

His look put her slightly on the defensive, but she understood why he was disappointed. However, she had been confused about the situation, especially since Gavyn had left in an angered rush about something. Though she'd heard most of the conversation between Gavyn and Ocenia, she didn't hear what had made him angry. So she sat there with her arms crossed and listened to the Captain rant about what happened.

A Princess, that much I gathered. Albeit a little late... but none the less. He had her locked in his room? Understandable, Keyra sighed as Ocenia fought back the worried gesture from Yo'Von. Then she asked if he was going to send her back to her home. Next to her, Sevral had been calming himself with Yo'Von's sudden appearance. She turned her gaze to him when he spoke.

"If I may...First off, please, never do that again... And second, I'd like to know why on earth we have the Princess on board, and why it's my room that everyone chose to gather in."

Keyra smiled at the last bit and shook her head slightly, turning to look at Yo'Von, "I think the reason why is irrelevant. What's important now is what you intend to do with her, Captain. We are far from port, I assume. It would be a waste to turn back for one..." Keyra turned her eyes to the Princess and decided not to say what she originally intended, "Princess." Leaning back, she uncrossed her arms to rest one hand on the bed behind her to keep balance. Her wings stretched out, resting across the rest of the bed behind her, the limber bones made a slight pop as she stretched them. Being cramped in small spaces was making them tense.

Then she remembered Gavyn and decided to warn the Captain, "Gavyn is extremely angered about something, too. In case he comes back anytime soon..." she said and flicked her eyes to the door before returning her attention to everyone once more.
