Aidan has always been far too clever for his own good. Even as a child his curiosity managed to uncover secrets that he wishes to this day would have been kept. He himself is rather withdrawn and secretive, keeping things boxed up or filed away into the neat corners of his mind. Rarely will he allow anyone to peer into the depths of his life. Most if not all of his friends are kept in the dark about what he truly feels. Even though he can seem broody at times he is rather calm and level-headed. He will rarely get angry and when he does its mostly in a passive aggressive way. Arguing in his mind is distasteful and will usually shut down any conversation that he believes will lead to an argument. To put it simply Aidan just goes with the flow, lets things carry on with their own course, and at the end of it all he remains neutral. As any normal teen however Aidan has friends and around them he acts a little bit lighter. Less broody and more emotional. He has a sort of sarcastic wit about him that often times draws people closer, and the way he seems to listen unconditionally has also helped along with that.

Aidan grew up in a difficult home in Ledoux. By the time he was seven his parents were doing nothing but fighting every day, and he couldn't quite understand why...Until he witnessed first hand his mother kissing a family friend in a more than friendly way. Aidan still didn't quite understand, but he knew it was bad. In the following months after the incident his parents split, his father going one way and his mother the other. Aidan was left in the middle of a horrible custody battle that ended in joint custody. His parents made an agreement then that it would be best to have him live with his father in the summer and mother during the school year.
Later the next year Aidan's younger half-brother Thomas was born, bringing on a new slew of trouble. They grew up close, even though they didn't see each other too often they were still on amicable terms. They rarely fought and Aidan never felt jealous towards Thomas. This was until his father, step-mother, and brother moved back to Ledoux where Aidan and Thomas began going to school together. Thomas was young and reckless, and because Aidan felt like it was his duty to keep him alive and safe he was always caught up in his younger brothers schemes. It was one such scheme that caused the single most devastating event of his life to happen.
Thomas said it would just be a stupid simple prank on Aidan's longtime girlfriend Maya. That it would be funny and she would laugh about it later - Aidan didn't really know about that but went along anyways. Thomas was never purposely mean with his pranks...But this particular prank didn't go over well. She was driving when the alarm on her phone began to blare randomly. She wasn't supposed to be driving, and wouldn't have been has she not gone out on a whim to pick up some movies. The sudden, loud noise caused her to momentarily panic and swerve into oncoming traffic. She was hit dead on.
Maya didn't survive the crash. Aidan never forgave himself nor his brother for it. A stupid, simple prank had practically ruined his life. But with the help of his grandfather and mother he pulled through, and at the same time he cut ties with his father and brother still unable to forgive them for what had happened. This was only a simple year ago, but hes tried to put it behind him and look forward to the future...although lately that future has included more trouble and fighting for Aidan.
