Mark gasps loudly opening his eyes sharply to see abandoned town. All the passengers appear to be knocked out just like he was. Mark tries to start the bus up again that is seemingly unharmed from the collision he thought he died in on the route from New York to Los Angeles. "Is everyone okay?" Mark asks but he gets no reply from his seemingly unconscious or deceased passengers. Mark who is unharmed by the crash exits the bus, seeing the undamaged blue line line bus beside his red line bus. Mark goes inside the blue line bus to see that everyone is in the same condition except the bus driver. Unlike him the bus driver had not woken up yet. There is no one on the street as Mark heads to a supermarket.

He enters the supermarket to see that the shelves are barren, let alone having people inside the place. There are shopping carts scattered around but nothing in them. There are about 10 aisles and a deli shop in the back. Oddly enough a pile of goods lies in the front of the store, untouched.
Mark takes a glance at it and sees the following
- 1 travel sized toothpaste
- A packet of raw ground beef
- A can of corn
- A bar of soap
- A gallon of water
- A loaf of bread (12 slices)
- A first aid kit (10 bandages, 2 wrappings, a bottle of alcohol, vaseline, and an empty syringe)

Mark leaves all the items but takes the first aid kit. He then enters a movie theatre. Inside there is a snack bar in the front with empty shelves except for an opened bar of chocolate, that seemed to have flies around it. It also had a flickering neon light that said "Yum". There were was only one viewing room with about fifty seats and not a person sitting in them. The viewing room was extremely dark and there was no light coming from the projector room. There were also two bathrooms to the left of the snack bar.

Mark didn't bother looking in the car wash because there walls were transparent and he could see there was no one inside, but he could see water making tiny streams out of the wash showing that it had been used recently.

In the distance Mark could see a train station that had been obviously abandoned for quite some time because of all the vegetation growing around it and the paper scattered about it The tracks were even covered in vegetation, unlike the rest of the buildings this one it had looked like it had been abandoned long before the others. At the end of the barely visible track he could see a a tunnel that had been boarded up, littered with graphite.

Not wanting to move further way from the bus, going deeper into Glenshire he returns to both buses and stood outside them "Hey is anyone awake?!" Mark feeling began to feel paranoid and distressed. He felt like he could be the only survivor in this entire town. With nothing but a thick fog further behind the buses he did not consider leaving Glenshire and for some strange reason felt an evil presence in the fog.

Relieved to see someone else was alive Mark headed towards the woman.
"Yeah...well I think we did...maybe" Mark answered unsure of what exactly happened last night. He was absolutely sure he was sober last night as he always is when driving the bus, but because of the head on collision with the other bus last night, but both being side by side undamaged in a town they were not in last night made him doubt himself. Noticing the cuts on Daniella's arms he opens up the first aid kit he picked up at the supermarket.

"Hold still" he tells her. Mark pours a bit of alcohol on her cuts, and not wanting to waste bandages he applies one wrapping to her arm and uses 4 bandages on her other arm. Saving both one wrapping and 6 bandages.

"My name's Mark by the way" he says as he closes the first aid kit.

"I'm Danniella. Danni for short. You know, you didn't have to give me the bandages. There are probably people hurt worse than me, and in the situation we seem to be in.." Her mind seems to wander off, contemplating all the possible situations as quickly as she could remember them. Maybe there was a person on the road, or a car crash, or.. an animal of some sorts! But, they deffinatly weren't at their destination..

.."ANYWAY!" She suddenly nods, staring this 'Mark' straight in the eyes, trying to possibly burn into the retnas or at least intimidate him though it was hard seeing as her hands were shaking by the shock of the crash its self.

She paused, making sure she wasn't going to stammer or stutter as she said "Who are you and where are we?".

Mark look stares back at her "Well I'm the bus driver for the bus over there." He says pointing to the Red Line bus outside the window. Feeling a bit of guilt because he was apart of the crash.

"As far as where we are I couldn't tell you, I've driven this route a couple of times and I've never been in this town before. It's like a ghost town out there, no people, no other cars, and all the buildings I've seen so far are abandoned. The funny part about this is I don't even remember being in any town when our buses collided" Mark answers with a baffled look on his face, still trying to remember.

"Hello!" She shouted out into the town, facing away from Mark. It echoed further and further into the distance, bouncing off the houses... Nothing. Nothing at all. Could they really be alone? How!? What about her friends? What will they... Oh, god... They didn't know where she was... Oh god, neither did her boss... Oh god, she'll be fired! All the work she's done over the years, all the sucking up to the boss... Wasted because this idiot drove his bus into theirs! She shook her head, dismissing all the negative thoughts and once again becoming the positive Danniella everyone knew. She turned back to the man. "Mark, I think I'll go check the mansion over there." She nodded to the west, where a mansion lay. "There has to be someone there. You comming, or staying here?"

Danni stops, realising she had been incredibly selfish. What was she thinking! He was right, what if they woke up? She wasn't the kind of person to leave people to die... "First thing, never say sorry to me. It's fine, and most probably always will be. Second thing, what if - this is only a suggestion - I go and knock the door. If anyone's home, I'll explain our situation. If they're not, I'll come straight back?" Something suddenly hit her like a frisbee. What if the owners were hostile and attacked her?

"Do you have a phone? If you do, I'll give you my number... Or I could just shout... You know, to tell you stuff." Danniella stood, wondering if he would help if she called at all. Maybe he wanted to crash the bus on purpose!

Mark hesitated to answer the questioned, embarrassed about his recovering financial situation. "I can't afford a cell phone, I would call out using the ham radio on the bus, but unfortunately it won't start. I'm sure I could fix it if I took a look" Just like that he realized he hadn't check the blue line bus. "Hey let's see if we can start up your bus and maybe we can get the radio working" Mark enters the Blue Line bus, walking towards the driver, and reaches down to the ignition, twisting the key to see it would turn on. The engine whines but it does not start, but the electricity on the bus is working as the ham radio turns on.

"Hey Danielle! we might be able to get help" he calls out to her

There was a body in the bus, slumped over a chair, it was a thin wisp of a girl dressed in a fitted hoodie and yoga pants, with a brown suitcase a few inches from her. The sound of someone attempting to start the engine seemed to wake her, and she stirred a moment before murmuring incoherently in Russian “Chto za chert ...?” she was probably trying to ask what was going on there.

Elizaveta was exhausted, and just wanted to get up from her awkward position in the bus, what had happened? She remembered the loud whine of an engine, humans yelling in English, and then darkness.

They must have crashed, but where were the ambulances and police? She had a splitting headache, and really wanted to go call her hotel to let them know she’d be late, not that she was any good over the phone, as it made her broken English sound even worse.
She tried calling out in a language she had studied quite a lot, but still couldn’t get the hang of “Hello..?” Elizaveta’s Russian accent clung thick as honey to her words. she was adressing the man messing with the Ham radio.

Mark hearing something in the distance, he looks away from his ham radio and as he looks around he sees that someone has woken up on his Red Line bus from NY to LA, the one he had been driving. He turns off the bus to save the electricity. Grabbing the first aid kit from the floor he steps out of the Blue Line bus from Florida to LA. "I think I heard someone talk" he says as he waves to Daniella to follow him, as he walks to his bus. Mark seeing the passenger on his bus, remembered her face as she boarded, Mark was good with remembering faces. He walked up to her and crouched down to where she was sitting "Are you okay?" he asked as he looked at her seeing if she had any bruises or cuts like Daniella had.

"Hello. Um..." She looked the lady up and down. She carefully noted the hoodie and yoga pants, the kids she had seen walking in and out of her school instantly popping into mind. She had often seen them in hoodies but quite tight bottoms, walking in and out of the Hall with Madaline Langley, the Dance teacher from the school down the road. Maybe she was a dancer? She laughed at her self for being so nosy when not even introducing herself to the girl. "I'm Danniella. Danni for short. This is Mark. And now there are two of you to look after the people who wake up, I'll go up to the mansion!" She nodded to the both of them and headed off, shouting back. "If you hear me scream, I'm probably dead!"

By the time she had got to the mansion, she started to doubt herself, but.. after all, most times she HAD doubted herself, she should have done the thing she doubted herself about. Confusion, yes. No doubt about that, but she stopped at the door, her hand lifted in mid-air, curled into a fist.

As soon as her hand touched the door, it creaked open gradually. "It wasn't locked.." She stepped inside, the door slamming closed behind her and the slam echoing throuout the town. She darted back to it, grabbing the handle and trying ever so furiously to open the door, then kicking the door when she realised it was locked, leaving her trapped inside.

As Danni was comming back, she had heard only a snippet of the dancer lady talk. Russian, for sure. Danniella had read a book about Russian language a few years ago for an assignment for her English class. Some Russian book. Maybe... "Здравствуйте. Кто вы?" She said in a terrible Russian accent. She was sure it ment 'Hello. Who are you?' but then again... She thought she owed it to the woman to say something of what happened. "Мы разбился из-за этого осла, Марк." Again, she was sure this ment 'We crashed because of this man, Mark.' She stared hopefully, waiting for some kind of response.

Mark giving Daniella a glare. "Yeah about that I don't crash I know more than thing or two behind the wheel missy, and as you can see, our buses are completely perfect on the outside" he says with a stern tone trying not to lose his cool. He looks back at Elizaveta, he knew that he's have to communicate with plenty of physical expressions to make sure she understood him perfectly. "Like she said we were in an accident at least that's what is most plausible." he says pointing to the bus outside of the window. "We tried looking for help, but there's no police, no ambulance, no phones, just nothing in general." he says while shaking his head at each no. "You have a cut on your head. Would it be okay if i treated it" he asked pointing her head and then the first aid kit.

"This is going to hurt just a bit" Mark said as he began to apply some of the alcohol to sterilize the cut on her head. Mark then applied a bandaid to the cut on her head. Since Daniella spoke Elizaveta's language he decided it was best that she took over the rest of the conversation. He looked at the bandages he had left, which was now almost halfway gone.

She glared back at Mark. "What? Unless you speak Russian, how did you know what I said, Mark? What I said was true anyway!". An idea suddenly hit Danniella. "One moment, I'll be back!" She ran to her bag, pulling out a book called 'Speak', then handing it to Elizaveta. "Um.. Teaches.. You..." She stopped, thinking of the Russian way to say 'It teaches you English'. "Umm.. Она.. Umm.. учит вас английский." She knew she already spoke English, but she didn't speak it very well, and so Danniella wanted to help. She was an English Professor, after all. "Read it." Then, she paused, realising she should ask questions. "Как тебя зовут?" She smiled, waiting for her reply to 'What is your name?'.

Danniella didn't know that Mark was a former professional race car driver. Mark had been to may different countries because of his job and because he was so invested in his work, he often had to learn essential words to communicate with different pit crews. Mark's knowledge of different languages had dwindled since his forced retirement for a couple of years, which were some of Mark's darkest days. However one word Mark did know immediately was the word crash, a word Mark was all too familiar with. Mark didn't want to explain himself to Daniella, as Elizaveta was more of a priority than presenting his credentials.

"Mark.." Danniella started, turning away from Elizaveta slightly to face them both at an angle but looking individually at him. "Sorry if I was a bit rude, then.. I didn't mean it. I'm not use to... being..... stuck." She looked at the floor, sighing slightly and holding her arm close to her as if in a protective stance or just wanting to hide herself from the outside world. She raised her head again ever so slightly. "Anyway, there was a boy, in the mansion. I think I'm going to go looking for him. Or at least for a map." She nodded, walking away into the streets.

She wondered for a while, passing various houses and other buildings. She stopped at a general store, she figured anyways. She tapped on the door, it creaking open slowly. "Are you kidding me!?" She shouted, remembering the incident at the mansion. "Hello!?" No reply. She crept in, keeping her foot by the door so it could not shut on her once again. Her eyes darted around the darkness, looking for any signs of life, but all she could see was a rat squeaking and scuttling along the ground. Then, she set her sights on a small book on the table. A log book, maybe?

She reached for it, still keeping her foot by the door, weary of it locking. Her fingers gripped it lightly, bearly lifting it into the palm of her hand. She grabbed it and stumbled backwards, out onto the street again, continuing her search for the boy while reading into the book. The funny thing was, last time anyone had bought anything was years ago! But she kept on looking through the years of purchases. They weren't normal...

But either way, she continued her search for the boy.

Mark smiled at Elizaveta's comment saying that he did not know pain until he stood on a single toe dancing for hours. "Yeah, thats sounds pretty painful indeed, but a guy like myself has no business dancing in the first place, so I'll definitely take your word on it." he said smiling. However Mark knew plenty of pain and also knew the numbness of pain that comes with almost dying, but didn't want to tell his life story to random people. Unlike Daniella, Elizaveta seemed a bit stronger, less panicked, and spontaneous. Speaking of spontaneous he noticed that Daniella had taken off again. He shook his head at the ground "that girl is going to get herself hurt" he muttered.

When Elizaveta asked what his name was he replied with "My name is Mark". He wanted to tell her that he understood her language, but it had been so long since he had used it, he didn't want to embarrass himself. He knew the ham radio on the Blue Line bus was working, so he felt as if they would be saved soon. "So I take it that you're a balle..." he began to say but a woman who walked right off the bus they were on passed them. She must've missed Mark who was crouched down and Elizaveta could have easily blended in with one of the unconscious just sitting in their seats. Mark turned to Elizaveta "Hey if you can walk, you should come take a look at where we are, although it's not much to see. I'm going to see if that woman needs help, she might be delirious" he said while making a twirling motion by his head at the end.

Mark stood at the Red Line bus entrance "Excuse me miss" he said staring at the woman who had just walked off the bus.

Elizaveta smiled halfway at the man when he spoke, he seemed sensible and she liked that. Few could keep their heads so cool in a crisis. So his name was Mark? It sounded very American to her, so abrupt, very harsh on the tongue, she wasn't bothered by his name or anything. It was simply different on her ears than the name's of her countrymen and women, not that she wasn't used to this by now.

Elizaveta noticed the woman as well, wondering who she was and if she was hurt at all. For a moment she did not understand Mark, he was speaking to fast for her to grasp a language not her own, but she pieced it together in her mind and got the gist. Then getting up and wandering down the same path Danniella had taken.

The area had such an odd feeling about, the air smelt almost musky to Elizaveta or rather just very old, almost like mildew. The buildings she passed had such a dreary and antiquated essence about them, it was almost spooky, in fact it was. After a time she came to the same run down general store as Danniella, wondering if she could find somebody who lived in the town, or perhaps a telephone. She peeked in the door and called out "Allo? Nikto Tam?" Then bit her tongue realizing she should be speaking English and inquired again "Hello?..Anyone is there?" Her accent and broken speech made it hard to even tell what she was saying.

Rainie sighed when no immediate answer came from the surrounding place. She could already tell it was a desolate place, with little but vegetation and probably the odd crazy resident. If anyone resided here at all. Wrinkling her nose, she turned a full circle averting her eyes from the two buses that stood side by side. All of this was extremely...strange. In her memory, she was sure she'd seen the two buses coming together in a crash, but apparently not. Because there they stood, untouched. A shiver crept up her spine and she closed her eyes for a second. It was too weird. Everything here felt wrong, but she had no choice to accept that this is where they were.

"Excuse me miss."

Rainie whirled around, eyes wide. She hadn't expected an answer, especially seeing as everyone on the bus was either passed out or worse...No she had seen them breathing, they weren't dead. They couldn't be dead. Mossy green eyes searched the face of the man that stood before her and her pink lips opened to speak and then closed. Something clicked in the back of her mind and she frowned, crossing her arms across her chest, her suitcase laying forgotten. For a few moments, she only stared openly, before she finally spoke.

"You're the driver of the bus right?" Rainie nodded towards the Red bus, an eyebrow now arched in questioning. She didn't wait for an answer. "Please don't address me as Miss either, politeness gets you nowhere with me. I'm Rainie." It was rude, but she didn't care. Nothing mattered to her anymore. She didn't hold out a hand for him to shake, only stood with her arms crossed and observed him carefully. Perhaps he knew what was going on, but from the look in his eyes he knew no more than she did. You could learn a lot about a person from watching them. He looked tense, like he was unsure what to do next.

"Care to explain what the hell is going on here?"

Tommy:

Tommy plan to scare Elizaveta and Daniella had failed miserably because not only were they not scared, Daniella was looking right at his location. "Great, I'm going to have to kill to women today" Tommy said as he laid on the roof avoiding being spotted. Just then it had hit him, he remembered Cur telling him scary stories of ghost. He thought they had always frightened him, so he might be able to do the same to Daniella. He was willing to do anything to avoid killing someone. He rose up slowly from the roof saying "Booooo! I'm a ghost that wants to devour your soul. I'm going to eat you alive and throw your bones in the fog" Tommy said in a terrible impression of a ghostly voice, he waved his arms to add "effect".

Mark:

As he was about to answer the first question he was cut off by Raine, who dished out some orders along with her name. Mark already had Daniella to deal with, but this one was more sassy than even her. "As if his problems needed to get any worse" he thought. Mark raised an eyebrow at her, he was a polite guy, so when other talked to him disrespectfully he often liked to dish it back. "Well Rainie, I'm Mark, your bus driver and before you blame this on me take a look at the perfect condition the bus is in" he said slapping the side of the red line bus. He started walking to Rainie, but passed her to head towards the blue line bus, walking straight passed her hand. "I would shake your hand, but as you said politeness will get me nowhere & right now if you haven't noticed,we already are. There's some first aid back on the bus in the aisle, if you're hurt go heal yourself up" Mark said while entering the blue line bus. He felt wrong for being mean to Rainie who is probably is just confused as him, but he wasn't the type to take that kind of attitude for very long. He knew he would have to find someway to make it up to her.

Mark started to fidget with the ham radio, hoping to get some sort of reception, that way he could call for help. So far all he was getting was a bunch of static.
