Melita closed the door behind her, letting out a sigh. She slunk to the floor, leaning back against the door. Thoughts swirled in her head, her anxiety fluctuating. She was greatful to the vampire for being polite and for assuring her her sister would be safe. But still, being stuck here and never being able to see her sister, or even contact any other humans was a bit overwhelming. It was also disheartening. She would, in a sense, be alone for her entire life, unless somehow she could talk or maneuver herself out of this situation.
Melita bit her lip, telling herself not to sulk, not to cry. She couldn't be weak here.
Though the document was black ink, his names was signed red.
It was a blood signature.
It was common in most human, vampire pairing that a blood bond was made.
After finishing up, the male exited. Rather than go to Melita, he head back down the hall where Cait slept.
He knocked forcefully on her door. The whole house were likely to of heard it.
The red headed vampire answered, she knew what he was after.
' Have you written the blood oath yet? I require yours before be make the pact'
She sighed, there was no law that stated a blood oath was a must.
' Look Julius, I have told ye once and I will tell ye again. I don't do blood oath's... it's child's play'
It was a conversation the pair had every time a new human pair came round.
' Sign the God Damn paper Cait.' Julius voice began to raise.
Soon, she was sinking into a realization that she had gotten lost despite her best efforts. Glancing up at a tapestry she had passed at least twice, Melita tried to figure out where she was and which way she had yet to go when a loud knocking was heard. Despite the potential dangers that she assumed could come from investigating in a vampire's castle, curiousity won and Melita followed the noise.
She froze at the beginning of the next hallway, seeing Julius arguing with the female vampire from before. The young woman's hair began to rise, his obviously irritated voice sending a chill down her spine.
Over the years the pair had many tremendous arguments and fights. Luckily for Cait her strength was far superior to his. Though it never stopped him from raising his hands.
' Juilius Lad. Step back from me before I hurt ye'
Of course Julius didn't take that well, dropping the blood bond on the floor before grabbing Cait's arms and gripping hard.
Cait pulled hard on the hand that gripped her, causing Julius to fly into the corridor wall.
He picked him self up, dusting off his jacket.
' I won't pretend I can take you in a fist fight Cait but if you don't sign what I require of you... then I will make my humans time here very hard'
Cait stopped and swallowed hard. She knew him to be a very serious man.
She returned to her room and brought out a small knife. Tentatively she cut a small wound on her hand and offered it to Julius.
The human felt her blood run cold as Julius spoke, his threat echoing in her mind. He was using her as leverage? But why would the female vampire care? Frozen in the hallway, Melita swallowed hard, feeling not unlike she had swallowed something foul. Hadn't the vampire said he'd be a gentleman? And now because of an argument with his own companion, he would make her suffer for it?
Shock swam in her gut as the female actually listened to Julius' demands. Melita couldn't fathom why the gorgeous Cait was willing to sign whatever Julius presented her. All she could do was stand in shock, letting out a surprised gasp.

Closing the door again Tristan walked around the room thinking about his options. Would he eventually have to hand over his blood to this vampire? Or could he postpone the action? Perhaps fake illness...or even plainly refuse either way it would certainly be a fight.
