Naeda Ivali
"No matter how hard you struggle, I will always hunt you down, and... Well, that's part of the surprise."

Basic Information ||

Age: 26
Date of Birth: November 13th
Gender: Female
Sexual Preference: "I like men just as much as I like women... which is as much as I like street rats infested with maggots."

Tribe: Earth
Position: "I am just a fellow member. Nothing more, nothing less."

- Amulet of Omera - A religious piece forged with the insignia of the Deity of Protection. An heirloom left behind by her mother who received it from her own mother, this amulet has been passed down to only the hands of the women within the family as a sacred charm.
- Cloth of the Fire Tribe - Made from the cloak her father left behind right before he left, Naeda took the red article and cut it into pieces, redesigning the cloak into a sash that she wears around her waist as a symbol of her blood relations. The cloth is made from a mild fire-proof material that allows her to withstand open flames slightly better than others.

Notable Skills/Abilities:

- Although she takes her roots with the Earth tribe, her masteries lie in the manipulation of sand, able to loosen it like water or pack it like stone.
- Swift on sand just as she is on land, Naeda can control the substrate beneath her feet to "suft" the deserts.
- Upon contact with any of the other 3 elements, her sand can either be heated into glass, blown into a sandstorm, or soaked into quicksand.

Physical Description ||

Hair Color: Burnt red
Eye Color: Stone grey
Skin Completion: Sun kissed beige
Height:  5'6" ft // 167 cm
Weight: 138 lbs // 62.5 kg
Tattoos/Markings: White runic tattoos of ancient scriptures decorate her entire body, running down the lengths of her arms, chest, back, torso, and legs.

Brief Appearance Description: A young woman standing strong at an average height of 5'6", Naeda was born with a structure that although appeared frail and breakable beneath any layers of clothing she may wear, she is revealed to be an underestimated force to be reckoned with. Physically just as capable as she is with her powers, she makes up her lack of strength against well trained men with her agility and stealth, using their own idiocy of charging at her against them. Naeda is adorned with hair comparable to red rust, lightened and dulled out of its shine considerably from all of the times she'd spent out in the sun and covered in the dusts of the earth. As per her own preferences, she keeps it long and uncut, trimmed at best whenever it begins to grow out of hand. Her eyes sharply contrast her hair at an intense shade of grey, lit with the slightest touches of slate blue that in turn make it seem as though her eyes radiate in a glower. With a slim figure from her constant exercise with her abilities out in the desert, her daily runs across the sands wear down any calluses that she may produce, leaving only soft flesh in its wake by the end of the day.

Health Conditions: Relatively healthy

- "I find it strange that few others find scorpions as endearing as I do."
- "Oh? A drink? All on your tab? Surely you won't mind if I call for some more then?"
- "The complexity of your mindset fascinates me... It keeps me very well entertained."

- "The human race is like a giant hole spewing out every possible case of bullshittery the universe can summon."
- "You keep the mongrel away from me before I sell him off to the next person we come across."
- "I will take my chances in scorching hot weather over snowfall anyday."

- A sufferer of oneirophobia, this particular fear has caused insomnia for a large majority of her life and continues on presently.

"I am more than enough to deal with the likes of you."

Ever since she was young, Naeda's beliefs in her capabilities have been one of her signature traits to recognize that generally leave the strongest impressions on her onlookers. With an air only a fraction away from arrogance, those who encounter her often find themselves at a loss as to what to say about her as she naturally leads the situation to her own rhythm.

"I have more things to worry about than some petty shame I feel no guilt for."

As per the old saying "the ends justify the means", this is a phrase Naeda lives by on a daily basis. She believes in taking whatever actions are necessary to achieve her goals, even if it means defacing herself. Lying has never been a negative aspect in her life nor has cheating. They have only served as her tools of progression, tools of communication, and will remain as such for as long as they are useful.

A woman with little care for the humans who inhabit the world, Naeda displays an indifferent and disconnected persona to the general public. They don't like her just as she doesn't like them. It is that simple.

//Biography ||

Born as the bastard child of a man from the Fire tribe and a woman of the Earth tribe, Naeda inherited many of her defining qualities from both ends of the spectrum. As a child, she lived with her mother on the outskirts of the city, secluded from the majority of the population due to her mixed heritage. It wasn't that she was despised and outcasted. No... Ironically,  it was her family who outcasted the others. Having been brought up in a household that frowned upon segregation caused by wars, the Ivali family name has branched out to become one of the remaining clans to openly integrate itself into the mixed societies of various tribes willing to have them regardless of their conflicts.

Raised as a pawn to further their cause of uniting the tribes, from the day that Naeda was born, she had no other purpose but to carry on the family will. She was formally taught the basic skills of earth manipulation at the meager age of 7 but quickly found the adaptation of sand to greatly increase her control. From there, she built upon her masteries and developed her own style and formation- one that no one else but she could follow. Of course, Naeda was by far not the only sand-based manipulator. There were 4 others that she knew of who found comfort in the specified element. While they shared a gift, however, their ages and personalities denied them from ever truly connecting as comrades.

Education as an older youth in Shadowfen was nothing out of the unexpected. Her blood relations caused a few rifts among her more supremist peers, friendships were far and few, and romance was completely nonexistent. As beautiful of a woman Naeda had grown up to be, she was still reputed as nothing more than the "sand wizard of the Fire tribe". It wasn't anything new, though. She'd grown accustom to their unique display of... affection towards her.

As the years dragged by, Naeda only grew to be more and more powerful, finding herself experiencing first hand elemental combat at an early stage. Her sand traps became more efficient and her thought process increasingly elaborate, capable of keeping up even with her seniors of many years. Her rapid physical and mental growth soon proved to be worthy of graduation, and by 16, she was free to perform her abilities without close guidance.

The following year, her mother took to her deathbed. It was a

- Because of the amount of time she has spent out in the blinding deserts practicing her abilities, Naeda herself has lost over 40% of her vision's clarity.
- Her sense of taste is also chapped at best, resulting in her fondness for strong liquor as it is one of the few things she can actually taste.

So begins...

In the middle of the city, just by the tribe’s biggest house - the leader’s house, all the leaders live there while still ruling - sat Fi outside the vault. Or vault, it was a house where the tribe’s treasures were kept, things like gold, jewels, secret tunnels leading underground to the most secret things. The stones. Fi knew she guarded those stones but no one has ever told her why, they called them "The element stones" but there was only three of them. A blue, a brown and a deep red one.

Fi looked up at the sky and yawned, it was nice weather today and here she was sitting all by herself with only a door and the scythe as company. She looked around at the people going around the square, looking at what the merchants had today, talking and having more fun than her. It was not like she was forbidden to talk with people while guarding. But she choose not to, she once nearly told a stranger about what she really was guarding. And since then she has only waved hi when people greeted her.

It was a peaceful day, some days where exhausting because people was bugging her about her job. Or just talking about how she should do more with her life than run around all day. Some days were a total chaos because someone had seen other tribes close by. When that happened she or someone else had to be inside that dark basement with the stones. She hated those days.

While she was playing around with the dust on the ground, making it fly around in circles one of the other guards came and smiled faintly. "Your shift is over, it's my time now."
Fi flew up from the chair, "Finally! Have fun." She smiled while grabbing her scythe and ran away as fast as she could.

Finally outside the village she exhaled, Free. She stretched her stiff body that was starting to hurt a little from sitting down for such a long time. No more chairs for today. She looked around at the forest surrounding her home smiling to herself, it was pretty. She ran a little further away from the village and then started climbing the highest tree she could see. It was a bit difficult because her body was still not that awake and she moved slowly. But she reached the top - or the highest place she could sit down at without breaking the branch, she looked out at the forest. The wind was swirling around her and tried to make her fall by pulling on her clothes. She looked down at the main road you traveled on to get to the village, Oh a person, oh... That's too bad, no white hair.

She closed her eyes and focused on dissolving herself, when she was completely gone or invisible she flew down from the branch and traveled along the road. When there was some space from her and the stranger she reappered with the scythe in hand smiling. "Well hello there stranger, may I ask why you are traveling on our land?"
