        Full Name: Magayyat
Call me: Yaya, her alias in the tribe however, is 'Raven' because of her hair
Age: (looks like) in her mid-twenties but is 32
        Gender: Female
        Sexuality: Heterosexual
        Tribe: Fire tribe
Position in the Tribe: Leader's right handman woman

        Hair Color: Raven black
        Eye Color: Emerald green
        Tattoos/Markings: See picture
Height: A little over 6 feet
Brief Appearance Description: Raven is a natural beauty, stands 5'8 and has a body close to the shape of an hourglass. Slightly tanned, she has a delicate face despite how fierce it might change and beautiful pink cheeks. That not being manipulated by any kind of make-up or some sort. She keeps her appearance as natural as possible, and that's how she still has such soft, untouched pure skin and black silky wild hair she often put together to make it more convenient. Usually it's pretty unkempt because Raven doesn't really cares much about her appearance; what matters to her is the way she fights. That doesn't mean she is completely immune when someone offers her accessories. She loves them; in fact, she has quite a collection of them. Her favourite is probably the long earring she always has on only on her left ear and the necklace (see picture). Other than that what's mentionable are probably her piercing on both ears three times, two below and a bigger one above, and on the lips, but also the tattoos on her back.

Carrying: Twin dirks (weapon), explosion powder in her pockets, a little mirror, knife hidden in her boots, band-aid for emergencies
Notable Skills/Abilities: She is from the fire tribe and carries the DNA of people who have touched the fire stone, so she doesn't lack the fundamental ability. Means that she can manipulate and create fire, can surround themself with a fire armor/shield that no weapon can penetrate (this only last for a short while and drains a lot of energy) and also has the ability to detect humans and animals with heat senses, with other words they feel the heet from the living thing and can by that detect where it comes from. Learned from the Leader though, she knows how to use fire manipulation with an object, in Raven's case they're the twin dirks she uses as weapons. However, she has yet to know that a skill only she can master is existent, but she wouldn't see it just yet. She's too fixed on the Leader sometimes she is oblivious of her true potential.

        Negative Traits:
Aloof || Bold || Blunt || Temperamental || Stubborn || Spontaneous || Proud || Ruthless || Oblivious to her true potential || Overprotective
        Positive Traits:
Sharp || Fiercely loyal || Intelligent || Keenly observant || Nimble || Steathly || Powerful || Wholly independent || Deceptively delicate

Likes: The Leader (but as big brother and Leader she highly respects and look up to), Apples, Tattoos, Fighting that excites her, Unique accessories, Children, Styling people's hair, Being useful for the Leader, Praises, Nuts, The burning sunset, Fire magician (those who can do tricks with the fire attribute in their DNA), Happiness of her tribe, Her blood because of some reason (she's masochistic) and anything that gets her the thrill.
Dislikes: Being underestimated because of her gender, People who tries to win over the Leader spot from the Undying Inferno which she regards as her big brother, Girls who are scared of fights, Unloyality, Betrayal, Dishonesty towards her, unrespectful behaviour towards the Leader despite them to be only little children, Rainy days, the Leader getting hurt or any other tribe member and the detestful Water tribe.
Fears: She hates to see someone die in front of her and not being able to do something. That's probably why she developed her spontanity, because sometimes you just can't think before doing something, or it's too late. Although she isn't particulary scared of any fight ahead of her, but she still fears to lose the leader, who she regards as her only family. She wouldn't know what to do if he was gone. That's why, to get rid of her fears, she trains everyday to become stronger and stronger but often hangs around the children to train them, which on the other hand delayed her own training.

Personality Description: What can I say? Her character is pretty much explained through all the trais she has. Is the type of woman who is distanced towards those she doesn't completely trust which on the other hands makes those she completely trust someone she wants to protect at any cost. Once she opens her heart to another person (which indeed isn't something easy to do) she'll never doubt or go against said person, but stay a loyal friend until the very end. Sometimes it's even said that she is overprotective, wanted to make sure of their safety in a too extreme way that it made them insecure. Yet she was loved by many little children of her tribe; and around them she shows her caring and loving nature also the playfulness and naughtyness that she wouldn't dare to show any grown-up, whether they're from her tribe or not. No one aside of the Leader.

All the delicate gestures she has around children will be deceptive once you meet her on fighting grounds. There, her ruthless and stubborn character will come to surface, showing her complete determination to fight for her tribe, but also how she loves to fight. Sometimes while attacking the enemy she has a smile on her face; a smile that shows how entertained she is. Of course her enemy may understand said smile wrong and let her stand there as a ruthless, emotionless and blood loving woman; yeah, like a monster. Not something you should wonder about though; as her nimble, stealthy and spontanity self might really scare people to death, not to mention her strategical surprise attacks are. It is comprehensible how others by her smile can shudder and tremble. Honestly, she is scary when she fights even for the children in the tribe.

Like all the other fire tribe people, she is temperamental, impulsive and moody. Although she can surpress it better than the leader, but she's sensitive when someone is attacking those she cares for. Then, her boldness might come to surface and she'll fight rather recklessly. In such situation, she isn't to be stopped; there'd be only a Raven who strives for revenge; and Raven isn't someone who easily forgives. That's why she detests betrayal and lies, but also cheating. Nevertheless of the rumours surround her ruthlessness, she values fighting spirit and pride like no one other and will burst out in great anger if someone breaks them or act unproperly, like a freaking coward. Even when you're a woman. She doesn't make much difference between the genders.

Fi Lynx

In the middle of the city, just by the tribe’s biggest house - the leader’s house, all the leaders live there while still ruling - sat Fi outside the vault. Or vault, it was a house where the tribe’s treasures were kept, things like gold, jewels, secret tunnels leading underground to the most secret things. The stones. Fi knew she guarded those stones but no one has ever told her why, they called them "The element stones" but there was only three of them. A blue, a brown and a deep red one.

Booring...

Fi looked up at the sky and yawned, it was nice weather today and here she was sitting all by herself with only a door and the scythe as company. She looked around at the people going around the square, looking at what the merchants had today, talking and having more fun than her. It was not like she was forbidden to talk with people while guarding. But she choose not to, she once nearly told a stranger about what she really was guarding. And since then she has only waved hi when people greeted her.

It was a peaceful day, some days where exhausting because people was bugging her about her job. Or just talking about how she should do more with her life than run around all day. Some days were a total chaos because someone had seen other tribes close by. When that happened she or someone else had to be inside that dark basement with the stones. She hated those days.

While she was playing around with the dust on the ground, making it fly around in circles one of the other guards came and smiled faintly. "Your shift is over, it's my time now."
Fi flew up from the chair, "Finally! Have fun." She smiled while grabbing her scythe and ran away as fast as she could.

Finally outside the village she exhaled, Free. She stretched her stiff body that was starting to hurt a little from sitting down for such a long time. No more chairs for today. She looked around at the forest surrounding her home smiling to herself, it was pretty. She ran a little further away from the village and then started climbing the highest tree she could see. It was a bit difficult because her body was still not that awake and she moved slowly. But she reached the top - or the highest place she could sit down at without breaking the branch, she looked out at the forest. The wind was swirling around her and tried to make her fall by pulling on her clothes. She looked down at the main road you traveled on to get to the village, Oh a person, oh... That's too bad, no white hair.

She closed her eyes and focused on dissolving herself, when she was completely gone or invisible she flew down from the branch and traveled along the road. When there was some space from her and the stranger she reappered with the scythe in hand smiling. "Well hello there stranger, may I ask why you are traveling on our land?"

Raven was wide awakened before every other fire wielder in the city of Murtovaara had opened their eyes. Perhaps it was a nasty habit of her, lovingly crafted through the years she was forced to be alert of every enemy possible. The fire tribe stood alone, alone with pride. She knew that very well and understood. They can't afford to trust the others as they were of foreign blood, strangers so equal to enemies. It was the fire tribe who will stand above all, be prosperous and mighty. And she believed the leader will manage to bring the whole tribe forward. There just wasn't any other way.

Every morning the same ritual; refreshing herself, and shortly practice while going around the city, prospecting their surrounding for any possible dangers, irregularities, she had to check out. There were none at the current moment therefore her tensed body relaxed themselves, went down from the fighting mode to the normal. Here and there she talked with the guards, making them aware of their duties one more time as she visited the children in the heart of the city. They were the tribe's future after all, needed to be protected still. She loved to go there several times a day to see whether everything is alright or simply to play with the little kids. Only around them (and the leader) her expression showed variety of her always stern face. Her gaze softened for them, and showed how sincere she cared. It was possible that only due to this fact she wasn't feared, but also respected and trusted.

It was afterward when she came to the leader's place, announcing her leave from the city survey their safety outside of Murtovaara. The leader, or often referred to as The Undying Inferno, was the one she cared for the most. They were family, even thought not bind by blood. Their bond was even stronger than that, and both knew how irreplaceable they were to each other. Raven was, that morning, a little worried about the leader. He overworked a lot, and worried too much. She suggested a short break but he was too stubborn to allow himself one. Raven had then tolerated it and went to fulfil her duties first, but she kept it in the back of her head to force the workaholic to stop for once and drag him away from his desk to get at least some fresh air. Yes, that would definitely clear his head for awhile.

The forest was already alive that hour, rustling in the bush, birds chirped from afar and various scents and crawling animals tickled all her senses for their attention. Closing her eyes, she could feel the warmth of all living beings surround, but there was no sign of humans. Nonetheless, she continued to explore the forest, searching, and keenly observing.

She must have strolled surround the city of Murtovaara, a wide circle surround it because slowly, sweat was streaming down her face. Although she was far from tired, she sighted nothing of any relevance and wanted to turn and return as suddenly she heard loud voices of several unknown men and metallic sounds from weapons being sharpened. Her body whirled around in that instant and her muscle tensed while her body through habit pulled out both her dirks and clasped them hard. All her senses in its peak of sensitivity, detecting the heat of bodies of warriors she was unbeknownst about. Water clan?

Raven gritted her teeth fiercely; hatred was obvious displayed on all her body features. Not thinking any further, she went towards where she sensed the enemy and soon found the place, hidden in the wilderness but still easily detectable (at least, for her). Those emerald green eyes observed every single move with hasty gazes here and there, trying to figure the situation from afar. There were too many men; it was suicide if she decided to act alone. Coming to such conclusion she tried to withhold her temper and quietly backed down from her observation post.

She had to be quick.

Best thing to do in such situation was to gather men. Of course they were now in an advantage by knowing their presence not far away from them, still it didn't change much if they were clueless of their strategy. To gather men might also be their downfall; no, she had to attack them now, not in the village where more damage was certainly possible. Despite her excitement for certain seconds thinking of a surprise attack where she was known as specialist, a frown formed on her forehead. The skilled men who knew well to organize and pull off a successful ambush were currently away with the advisor, Nero, and she was clueless to whom she could trust for this emergency task.

Not long after she finished the thought, her heat senses cried havoc once more. For once one could see her flustered, clueless expression but soon it changed to unexpected glee. She knew to whom the heat belongs to; the movements were familiar to her. It was Talon, the secret group of the fire tribe, returning from their seemingly successful ambush as not many were injured and still embattled. She hesitated for moments, but knowing no other way she approached them without bothering to conceal her presence. "Nero Reinhardt." Raven addressed the advisor up front, like usual with his full name. "I see you're back after successfully finished the mission. Good work." She said after glancing at every single warrior and what they bought with them. "I am well aware that it is a rest you all now wish for, but I need your assistance for an emergency." Her serious gaze eventually rested on Nero only and then she finally spoke: "I spotted the Water Tribe not far from here. We need to act now to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed close to our tribe." Nevertheless, Nero was the advisor and Raven looked up to him despite his demeanour sometimes concerned her. That's why she waited for his word of agree or disagree before sending someone to inform the leader.

Nero and the rest of Talon made their way through the land, all tired and quiet from their long time away from home. Nero had decided to hold off on reporting the success to Zeddicus for now, wishing his men to get their much deserved rest before having to see each others faces again for their next mission. Before he could continue that next thought, Raven, a person very important to his Leader, appeared before him and his men. She filled them in on a situation that was occurring nearby. Her urgency told Nero that few in the Fire Tribe knew what was going to transpire, a clever move by the Water Tribe. Attack something small, remote. Away from the eyes, but gain ground nonetheless. Nero looked at Raven, a weariness to his eyes as he scanned the area around them. He knew she wouldn't approach unless they were alone, but you could never be too careful. "Let's move off the beaten path, this is not a conversation to have in the open. Rourke, see what you can find out about this attack." Nero made a simple motion to his men, each dispersing into the wooded area, concealing themselves from sight. The one he addressed as Rourke took off into the woods, running in the direction of the outpost. Nero led Raven only a few feet, just enough to where they wouldn't be seen by the occasional traveler passing by. "Raven... you know we're not in the battle business. My weapon is the fact me and my men don't exist. At least, not in the grand scheme of this war. We are supposed to be ghosts. Not soldiers. I'm curious as to why you tell me this. Did we not know they were attacking?" The question was rhetorical, as they both knew the answer. Nero continued, "Only one man in the Water Tribe could get in without Zeddicus and Mazus knowing. Vicnin Pherith."

A few minutes passed as Nero contemplated what to do. Luckily, the Talon member, Rourke, reappeared. He stood close to Nero, relaying what he had learned in his scouting and then moved into the forest. Nero smirked, looking at Raven with more hope in his eyes than he had previously. "As I guessed, Pherith will be attacking in a few hours. The important bit of information Rourke gathered was that the supply line I attacked, Pherith is sending another convoy." Nero crossed his arms and sighed shaking his head at the words as he said them. "We destroyed that path. Its unusable. This wasn't for us. It was for his men. A clever ploy to make them believe everything was still under complete control. Sending a convoy down a road he can't use... he hopes to drive us back there, force us out of this area. Sacrificing ones own men... cold, but genius." Nero began pacing back and forth, trying to see the best way possible to proceed. Finally, it clicked, causing his smirk to return. "Raven, Head to the outpost and do what you can to get people evacuated. I would head there myself, but common soldiers don't understand my position or that of my men. We would likely be taken in chains if we showed up and starting barking orders." Nero made a small motion with his hand, his brothers exiting the woods and forming up behind him. "The outpost wasn't ours to begin with, so it is no great loss if it is returned to the Water Tribe. If the attack begins while you are still retreating, do not try to fight back. Zeddicus would kill me if he knew I suggested you go there. While you do that, I will report to Zeddicus, and let him know we need to fortify our outer stations. Do you agree to this plan?" Nero, clinched the hilt of his sword, wishing he could go fight, but understanding larger things were at stake than a simply outpost.

Of course, Raven knew just too well. By the advisor's words, she averted her eyes from his and bit her lips so that her selfish words wouldn't find its way out. Not the desire to face the enemy was there hidden, but her concern about the leader. She knew he'll accuse and blame himself for the necessary loss despite knowing there was no other way. Yes, for Raven and most definitely for the leader too it'll be seen as loss, not considering it wasn't their territory to begin with. It didn't matter. It was still a loss and she didn't like the thought the slightest. Yet she couldn't say anything against the plan suggested hearing the name Vicnin Pherith, who was suppose to be behind everything, mentioned. She gritted her teeth. "Fine." It finally came out of her mouth unwillingly. She knew their position too well as she was among the few who knew about Talon's existence. Still she just couldn't accept the fact that the smartest choice was to retreat, leaving the various disadvantages disregarded. "I'll go along with it. Tell the leader it was through my own will and that I bear all consequences." Her glance wandered to Nero again, displaying her anger. "Therefore I can't completely guarantee I won't fight back." She uttered then stubbornly before politely she excused herself and disappeared from their sight.

Not for nothing Raven was known as the fastest around in the fire tribe. It wasn't long until she reached the outpost and soon began with the evacuation process. Informing those in charge, they determined the quickest and best route to get to the next safe base and gathered the men to get them all help out especially the old and the young. At first it was panic that Raven saw in every single face, but she was able to assure them their safety in a way it was believable. Yet there were warriors set to stay and defend the outpost for better or for worse and that raised Raven's mood a tad bit. She was proud to see the flaming spirit of the young sprouts, but either way she told them off. She knew, they were needed in the future, and here they would only be meaningless sacrifice. She realised that she had been immature with the advisor before, but of course wouldn't admit it. Hours it took for the evacuation process to reach the point where every single fire wielder had left the outpost and only had the strongest out of the bunch still there. Not to try defending the outpost, rather it was to play for time. From what Raven heard, the Water tribe will arrive soon enough while the evacuation process was still to be completed. "You all, go." Raven eventually said after she reduced almost all supplies in the outpost to ashes. As she received several complains, her heat sense cried havoc and alerted her of the water tribe's troop approaching. It was too late to send them away now, as the four men with her seemed to be as tense as her. She inhaled and exhaled, to calm her own nerves down before turning to them. “Remember, we’re not here to fight. Try to win time.” With those words, she awaited them.

Vicnin Pherith

The air was silent around the outpost, you could easily hear a sword drop to the ground. It was the silence that was always evident before an attack by General Vicnin; and likely the silence that came from the outpost came from the inevitability that they likely wouldn't win this confrontation...

A grim smile made itself evident at the corners of Vicnin's lips, the outpost ran directly next to a river... the catalyst of water tribe power. He knew they had an advantage and that all the factors tilted in his favor. The homeland advantage, the numbers, and the warriors at his command. Plus if this wasn't bad enough Vicnin had an ace up his sleeve; little to the fire tribe's knowledge there was a passage used for ages to enter and exit this very outpost. Large enough to fit 3 men shoulders length apart, Vicnin had sent a detachment of 50 of his best warriors down the path to ambush the enemy from within once the siege started. The defeat of the fire tribe was unavoidable as they would be hit from both the exterior and interior. Allowing for a quick and east victory.

Vicnin looked sharply to his left, there sat the sappers tampering with the catapults ready to fire at a moments notice. He couldn't help but notice the finer details such as the slick metal shine of the catapults and the large rocks that were there ammunition. After a few more moments of this he looked to his right; here there were at least 250 men out of his 300. All the men were equipped with light iron plates customary of the fire tribe, they provided protection and versatility; they also all had there weapons of choice with them hundreds of swords and a few axes all glinted in the sun causing an awe inspiring sight.

Vicnin looked back to the large outpost its stone walls running at a half-circle towards him and his men. These walls connected to on both sides a series of small mountain formations making it a very key defense position to fire the tribe as it protected there border from the fire tribe with ease. Along one mountains base runs the river mentioned earlier it has for centuries given an added bonus to its defenders as it always gave the water tribe the advantage of being close to there power...

But these were all little things, the the little things that made the differences that vicnin noticed, his head slowly turned to the Outpost once more and he looked at the walls which appeared to be garrisoned with men. He couldn't help but feel bad for them knowing that this war could all be averted but the fire tribes nature wouldn't allow for such things. He then cleared all these thoughts from his head as he knew it was time to attack.

He raised his hand up balled in a fist, as he did this all of his men sheathed there swords and axes and drew there bows almost in an instant they all knocked there arrows awaiting what was to come next. Vicnin took in a deep breath and dropped his hand down yelling in a calm and composed voice "Fire!". At once thetwang of 250 bows could be heard making an almost beautiful noise...

(sorry this was such a long post, I just felt we really needed something to give the feeling of war. Hope I did well.
ps: have raven respond however then I will respond right back)

Vicnin Pherith

Vicnin sat back leaning back on his horse as the bows slammed into warriors on the wall, many of them were smart enough to take cover but a few were disabled or killed from the volley. He head the archers bombard the fort with volley after volley more to cause fear to the garrisoned fighters than to harm them. After a few minutes of this he stopped the volleys and had his men march roughly 50 meters up and had them line up. The Fire Tribe warriors started to send volleys of their own, rows upon rows of fiery projectiles.

The Water Tribe men threw up a thick wall of water as the balls hit and vanished with vast amounts of steam. Vicnin smiled as this created a dense fog covering his troops, he rode up behind his men and ordered them to retaliate which they did. The Warriors all flung bolts of water at speeds that slightly would surpass an arrow. As the bolts hit the force behind them would vary, some would penetrate the men's armor ripping penetrating the skin and leaving holes in them before falling to the ground; if the bolts did not penetrate they would easily throw the men from the wall.

As the fog dissipated more men lay dead on the wall as the superior tactics of the Water tribe left them with only a few injured and burnt men. He kept the thick water wall up as his troops advanced forward until they had reached the gate, at which point roughly ten men in unison made a large ball of water and and used their combined force to launch the massive ball upon the gate causing the metal to bend and warp until it finally blew open and his men rushed in.

After hours of fighting both sides had casualties but the large Water Tribe army outnumbered them heavily and to make things worse 50 men burst from the keep using the underground tunnels, they men immediately joined the fray. At this point nearly all the Fire warriors had been either captured, subdued, or killed. All that remained was a woman and 4 of her best warriors it appeared. They 5 had easily killed nearly 30 men as they rushed and tried to take the small group. Vicnin saw this and ordered his men to stay back and to form up, they did this many pulled their bows out aiming at them some gathering water to prepare to use their power.

Vicnin leaned back in his saddle once more he cleared his throat as he said "A valiant defense, yet foolhardy... what is your name?" He spoke to the woman who seemed to be an officer or someone of higher ranking by the looks of it. "Raven" she said as she looked ready hands full of fire ready to be used should more men rush her. Vicnin nodded "Well Raven, I recommend that you surrender" his gaze shifted to the men around him before setting themselves on her again. "You can not win this fight and i'm sure you do not wish to die..."

She thought about this for a moment and looked around her, she realized that taking on this army would be suicide so she begrudgingly said "Fine... I surrender..." Vicnin nodded "Smart girl take escort her down to the prison" His men took hold of her and escorted her down. Vicnin got off his horse and walked towards the 4 men slowly back and forth in front of them. "Now then" He quickly pulled a dagger from each of his boots and stabbed them into the two nearest men's necks, as they feel to the ground dying he picked one man and slammed him to the ground his hand around his throat. He looked to him for a moment and shook his head as he started to use one of the best abilities in his arsenal... he started to siphon the water from the mans body, a few moments of this the man started to look gaunt and sickly, Vicnin stood up now and walked to the last man.

He sighed as he picked the man up buy his shirt and pulled him close whispering "I will let you live this day... go and tell your superiors to stay out of our lands or they will face the wrath of and the full might of the Water Tribe. Tell them what you have seen". He released the man gently. Now leave before I change my mind" His voice sounded fearfully calm and monotone. Vicnin looked around the fort he had lost roughly 70 men, this wasn't a great loss when compared to his enemy. Yet he couldn't help but feel bad again not that he had slaughtered the men but the fact that he lost his some of his own people to the tribe he hated most. In his heart Vicnin hoped the Fire Tribe would no longer encroach on their lands with the cryptic message the surviving man we give.

Nero clicked his tongue as he gazed upon the loss of the outpost from the forests him and hiss men had grown accustomed to navigating. He did not arrive in time to watch the whole situation unfold, but he could only surmise that Raven tried to fight, rather than run. He half expected it to be honest, which is why he came to see it for himself. As he went to lead his men back to Murtovaara, his eyes caught a glimpse of a man fleeing the outpost, a man from the Fire Tribe based on his garb. "Do you think he got away?" one of Talon asked. Nero smirked and turned to his subordinate. "That man carries a message, one that will do little to stem the tide of war that is approaching. With the loss of Raven, Zeddicus will begin to fight this war in earnest." Nero took a heavy breath as he turned away from his men and looked deep into the heart of the forest. "This man, Pherith... he does not know who he has in his possession. We can use this to our advantage." The members of Talon were confused, unsure of what their Captain meant with such words. "We will return to Murtovaara, behind this survivor. I will convince Zeddicus that we need an alliance with the Earth Tribe to finally put an end to the Water Tribe. As for this? We were never here. Understood?" His men simply nodded, all loyal to their Captain and willing to trust in his judgment. But, Nero was telling them only half his truth. If an alliance can be established with the Earth Tribe, that would leave the Air Tribe as the odd one out. This was just the first step of something he had been working on for months. Thanks to the capture of Raven, he was now able to accelerate his time frame by weeks, if not more.

Nero motioned for his men to follow him, the group disappearing into the trees. After a few hours of moving, they found themselves at their headquarters, which was really just a small living quarters in the wooded area outside Murtovaara. It was where they ate and slept, away from the eyes of the common people. Nero changed into civilian clothes, his men chosing to fall into their beds. It had been quite a few days since any of them slept and, because of the attack on the outpost, their rest had been delayed even longer. Once he was ready, Nero made his way out of the woods and started to make his way toward the Capital. His timing could not have been better, the survivor from the outpost finally arriving at Murtovaara. He had been picked up by a contingent of soldiers, and was now likely being taken to Zeddicus. Nero waited for them to enter the gates before entering himself. He kept a decent distance behind them, making sure he did not arrive before they did. He did not want Zeddicus to know he was at the outpost himself, and he also didn't want to talk to him before he knew of Raven's capture. The survivor eventually found his way to the seat of Zeddicus' power, Nero finding a sturdy column to lean on while he waited. He decided he would give it ten to fifteen minutes before entering, deeming that to be adequate enough time for Zeddicus to hear the news and cope with the events that had unfolded.

The Undying Inferno
"There is no power without pain."

"M-my lord, I bear ur-urgent news," the survivor voice stammered with shakiness; fearful of the position his life would be wrapped into in just the next very moments. The soldier first knew no one interrupted Zeddicus when he was not officially available but a report of so important could not be delayed.

"Are you blind soldier? I busy...," the Undying Inferno snarled as his words struggled to slipped through his teeth that acted as barriers in front of his tongue. Zeddicus proceeded to strangle the guard he was wrestling as he squirm among the dirt aggressively.

"U-Undying Inferno, sir, its about an o- outpost near Murtovaara. The Water Tribe-- the famous General Vicnin Pherith ambushed us, s-sir."

Zeddicus whispered into his wrestling opponent's ear, "We'll continue this later."
Respectively, the guard gave his lord a hand when helping him to his feet, though Zeddicus was in no real help of getting up. The man bowed to the leader of the fire tribe before exited the area. After the fight lord was not rather sore for he has been active in numerous brawls though blood leaked from his nostrils and rolled down the cracked lips of his. Sweat sprawled against his flesh and the strains of flowing black hair found their way loosely from the pony-tail strap.

Quietly with his back not facing the solider who managed to escape the terror of the outpost ambush, Zeddicus murmured emotionless, "But... you're standing there... How?"

"The g-general, he um.... He spared me, told me to inform my superiors of the disaster."

"So, you just watched your fellow soldiers... die? And then proceeded to obey him by reporting to me?"

"Y-you... you are correct, my lord."

The outside filled with unbearable silence for approximately four minutes before the soldier decided that he could no longer hold in the news about Raven. "There is one more thing, s-sir," the survivor claimed taking a few steps back.

Zeddicus couldn't find one way deep inside of him to store the anger which he now felt existed. He was not furious that the soldier could not keep the outpost under fire tribe control, because that was not his fault it was an ambush. Though the soldier did not die with honor, he fled like a coward and literally obeyed the water tribe. Suddenly Zeddicus charged at the soldier, lifting him by his neck with both hands digging fingernails into skin, pressing down on the trachea as his the palm of his hand started heated up.

"What! What more can it be!" Zeddicus bellowed savagely. "Put on the uniform of the fire tribe and you take the sacrifices of a soldier! The code stated you sacrifice anything but your honor! Take away your honor and I shall take away your life!"

The Undying Inferno hurled the man forcefully to the ground as if he were a toy. The lord sprinted to the troop yanking the armor piece that guarded the collar bone to pull the soldier forward facing him. The way a hidden blade descend from an assassin was the way Zeddicus flame sparked however it danced a few centimeters away from the accused survivor.

For Zeddicus stopped from turning him into a pile ashes as soon as he croaked sickly with his pale face and hazel eyes revealing ha his body appeared to be near death, "Raven she--."

The last breath from the man escaped him while his head hung motionlessly.

"Raven?! What about her!" Zeddicus screamed thrashing the corpse back and forth.
"Don't tell me... Did you watch her die also! Ugh, you bastard! Wake up! Tell me what happened! TELL ME!"

Every sentence after the word 'also' he began beating the dead man's face with the strength of fist, wishing that he would
finish his sentence; waiting for Raven to swoop in and stop him from his own insanity.

Nero could hear what was occurring within, coming to the realization that Zeddicus was taking the news even harder than he had anticipated. Nero stealthily entered Zeddicus' place of power, sneaking by the guards who were avoiding the sounds of what sounded like a slaughter coming from behind them. Nero entered the room, only to see Zeddicus standing over the man's corpse, his hands blooded and his face red with anger. Nero walked to a point about five paces away from Zeddiccus, taking a knee and bending his head town. "My lord, I have come to report that Talon has successfully disabled the Water Tribe supply route. Should they send more convoys that way, they will find it unable to pass through." Nero raised his head. He did not know how to deal with Zeddicus' anger, nor how to calm the man down. Him and his men were but a tool for the Leader of Murtovaara, and could not offer anything but their blade and a direction to swing it. "I also bring news that an outpost has fallen, but it looks like I am not the first one to tell you. My sources within The Water Tribe also tell me that Raven has been captured by the one known as Vicnin Pherith, a highly talented general of Lakeshore."

There was no reason to doubt Nero's words. If anyone knew just how far Talon reached beneath the surface, it was the person they answered directly to. "Based on what I could gather, Her identity remains intact. The Water seems to only know that she is a high ranking member within our military." Nero was careful not to say anything that might reveal he had been at the scene himself. Even if Nero sent Raven to the outpost to evacuate people and not to fight, he didn't know how The Undying Inferno would react to this knowledge.

"My Lord, I propose an alliance. As you well know, The Earth Tribe has declared war against The Water Tribe. However, Toa Maunga, is still indecisive. Thus, he has not started any major action against The Water Tribe. I suggest you send me as an enovy to Shadowfen. I will not go there as the Captain of Talon, but merely a diplomat. I will convince Maunga to side with us, and if he doesn't... I will make it to where he has no choice." At this point Nero stood up, but still kept his body slightly tilted to show respect for his Leader. "While I am away securing this alliance, My Lord and Mazus can discern how we will go about rescuing Raven. If need be we might be able to use the Earth Tribe to rescue her. What do you day to this, My Lord? As always, I will carry out thy command."

The Undying Inferno
"There is no power without pain."

Hearing of Raven's capture the Undying Inferno dragged the direction of his head downwards in grief. Zeddicus was no longer vexed but inside he crawled into a pit of sorrow. He closed his eyes slowly gulping the hot saliva raveling down his throat. Zeddicus then zoned out of the conversation with Nero while thinking to himself, How could I be so foolish to let her slip away from my grasp. The only soul being responsible for her tragedy... is me. And I will not die believing that I am who damned her to the Water Tribe.

The only words Zeddicus collected was 'Earth Tribe' and 'Alliance'; assuming that Nero was purposing that the lord be teamed up against the Water Tribe with the Earth benders, he responded in a way as if he were in dire need for air, "Whatever... it takes... Talon Captain."

Zeddicus rose up slightly staggering as he walked a couple a steps before he stopped and glanced at the soldier which he so brutally slaughter.

"Poor soul, I should say. I should of given him a second chance so that he may redeem himself before the spirits judge him. It would be in an act of mercy. I wish there existed such a thing, I wish I knew of such a thing. But as times twisted as they are now, mercy is a hard thing to come by."

The Undying Inferno rotated his body towards Nero continuing to speak, "And Reinhardt, I desire to join you in seeking an alliance with Toa Maunga, if you are so certain that their aid will defeat the Water Tribe. As much as I would wish to, rushing in and trying to grab Raven from the enemy's grasp is quite foolish if I don't exactly know who we are allying ourselves with. And, I am sure the Earth tribe leader will lean on the alliance even more if I, the leader of the Fire Tribe humbled himself enough to approach Toa. This quest to gain the Earth Tribe's assist will either make the Fire Tribe go down in history as cowards or wise-men. And you, Reinhardt, will be known as a paragon or a great error to your people. But surprisingly, the punishments or rewards, held on my head are much greater.

There is no time for delay, we leave in two hours. Give me time to gather and prepare myself, unless you disagree against my wish to accompany you. Which of course I have no problem with if you bear a reasonable excuse. This is wholesomely up to you, whether or not I should come. So, what will it be?"

General Vicnin Pherith
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Vicnin Pherith sat making last touch-ups at the fort giving last orders. "Burn the bodies of there dead... I am no butcher I will not dishonor their dead. Send our dead to sea, these last words pained Vicnin to say slightly. But death was something he had become accustomed to so he hopped aboard his horse and prepared his personal items.

"As for the prisoner make sure she is taken care of, I want no harm to come to her. If any harm does then you will be harmed by me..." his hands tightly gripped the reins while on the horse as gathered a group of 50 men to escort him home. He would be sending vast amounts of troops to the fort as it was one of only 3 ways into the water tribe lands the others being via the ports and waterways leading into the land. Vicnin had plans to return to his home of Lakeshore where he would raise the armies should the fire tribe retaliate but where he would first take a much needed rest from war.

Vicnin knew that the water tribe had to be united one way or another by either putting someone in the seat of power or if he had, taking power himself. He knew if not the tribe would fall soon and he wouldn't let this happen while he still lived. He sent a courier to Lakeshore to inform the people of the capital of his victory which would surely call for celebration of some sort in the return of the grand war hero and great general... the general had a plan for Lakeshore and its surrounding lands as they finally departed.

The Undying Inferno
"I fight along those who seek to fan my flames."

Image
Zeddicus smiled as he sensed Nero unleashing all of his inner fury and wrath, Zeddicus is well aware of how revealing it feels to simply pour out hidden words like such; that is just another reason why Zeddicus yearned for Raven's presence.

"So, tell me, boy," Zeddicus reacted to Nero's former speech.
"How many lads have you told that to? Were those true words locked deeply into your heart, and now you let go? I understand indefinitely how it feels. I also understand what you mean when one is existed to be taken. And once taken I believe they are of course controlled and exploited. That's me."

The lord pounded his chest as his brow furrowed.

"Though I do wonder who would of I become if my father was not Zayne Thanos, one of Murtovaara's greatest instructors. What if I had both a mother and father and perhaps a brother or seven. A tough, well-working, family who did not hate each other, but worked a farm belonging to Fire Tribe. Would I be the same. Hell no! I believe strongly that no other man could of pushed me harder than my father."

Zeddicus lowered his face to the ground in grief remembering how his father died by his hands. Though nobody but Raven knows that the lord killed his own father.

"Sadly, though I was insanely vexed with him, I hated the fact that he died by the blade of a...a street thug. That honorable man's grave was a bloody gutter. Did I kill my father's murderer? Yes, in fact I did. Because even though I went through moments worse than hell with my father, I should thank him. Why? It is because of this, now listen to me, boy. There is this old say I use to tell myself, 'You do not know how strong you are, until you have no choice but to be strong.' When I once remained a student of my father at the age of thirteen, something terrible happened one day. More gruesome to me than most days."

Zeddicus held his breath, preparing his emotions in order to continue.

"You see, Raven was instructed by my father also. Well, one evening of strenuous training. And we were permitted to bring one flask or bottle of water for the entire day of full training. And we would be crazy to ask my father if we could refill the container. Well, after I drank all of my water I was still very parched and because I was trained harsher than Raven she spared me her bottle.
I refused but she insisted and told me if I did not agree I would pass out. And there were consequences if we fainted. So I drank it. She soon enough became thirsty and we both had none left and none of the other young warriors shared. Thus Raven did the fearful knowing if she hadn't then her body would collapse. She begged my father for water. He grabbed her neck the way I grabbed the neck of that soldier today, and called a wretched weakling in a deafening roar. My father then lunged her to the ground and then struck her on the face, cursing her more. But that wasn't enough! The miscreant of a man tugged her leg, twisting it, and charged his foot straight her joint; breaking her leg. I still remember that crack of Raven's bones when that happened.

Was I was angry? Beyond imagine. I should of stopped him earlier, thought I was never going to stop him. But I gathered more indignation than courage and grasped the biggest rock I could find on the ground. I hurled the thing at my father's back, not really aim just wanting to hurt him.

My father turned to me smirking. I thought he was going to beat to unconsciousness. But he just gave an unwelcoming smirk and step forth to be. He leaned over into my ear and hissed, 'If you care so much about your friend. Drag her over to that corner and help her.'

I could not do it, but I believe I had no choice. So, I watched her weep as I snapped the bone back in place. She scream wishing the torment would end. I just stood there sinking in guilt. It was all my fault! I should of been in her position, the one to be punished!

I could never really sleep decently that day, or the entire week. Crying out to myself, asking why does this happen to me? What is the purpose, how am I getting any stronger when broken down so often. It was not until perhaps a decades later that I knew that I, Zeddicus Thanos, became what I have overcome. I have a past like no other, to become a leader like no other."

Zeddicus looked into his companion's grey eyes, now speaking in an informal way, "Nero, everything does happen for a reason,
even if we are not wise enough to see it. So we must wait on time and learn from what wrong has been done. And eventually we must move on."
