Appearance: Her eyes usually flit quickly from person to person when she’s around people.She always has a small,shy smile on her lips just to appear polite around strangers.She seems to have rather prominent canines,giving her a rather cute,yet feral look.She usually cuts her hair short once her hair reaches waist length.
Preferred Clothing: Argene prefers to wear soft,comfortable clothing that don’t cause much irritation to the skin,as she will often cuddle with animals.Her choice of footwear would be a sturdy pair of sandals with soft padding so that she can continue walking in forests without getting her feet very sore.During special occasions,Argene opts for a more formal wear,such as a dress and heeled boots.She also has a fondness for cloaks as they obscure her from most people’s vision.

Personality: At first glance,Argene seems like a very timid and quiet girl.That’s because she acts shy and afraid around strangers and people she doesn’t know very well.To someone she knows,however,she is a cheerful individual who delights in making others feel happy and can be a very caring companion.Those who know her very,very well have seen her afraid,breaking down into tears and cowering on the floor.Despite her cheery attitude,Argene herself can easily be put down by various situations.She doesn’t have the greatest of self-confidence and believes everyone is better than her in anyway,hence her inferior nature.
Her nurturing side can be shown around children,but one can see it the most when she deals with animals or creatures of the wild.People expect her ability over animals to be forced and that she tames them without their consent.That is wrong,which is why she dislikes the ‘Tamer of the Beast’ title given to her.She dislikes the word ‘tame’ or ‘control’ being used on the animals,as well as ‘beast’.If anyone does so,she may snap angrily at them,reprimanding them how they would feel if others were to ‘tame’,’control’ or call the person a ‘beast’.She sees animals as her friends,and equal to that of humans.She usually forges friendships with animals,which is truly how she gains these animals’ assistance.
As a Guardian,Argene is quite a pacifist,wishing to be able to resolve things without fighting.However,if needed,she will fight,though grudgingly.She usually seeks to spare her enemies from death,only wounding them bad enough so that they are unable to continue the fight.The only time she is willing to fight is when her sister is in danger.From there on out,she turns into an all-out fighter,similar to how an animal would fight to protect its young.
Oddities: She a strange quirk that causes her to act a little similar to a domestic cat or dog.She rubs her cheek against someone’s hand until they pat her or ruffle her hair.To Fawn,she actually licks Fawn clean,esp around her face or hands,like a cat bathing it's child.She also tends to smell certain things that are foreign to her.Argene also blinks repeatedly when startled or surprised.She tries her best to avoid meat consumption,but whenever one of the dishes is meat,she starts praying and saying her thanks for the animal that died to become her meal.In the same boat,when she comes across any dead animal,she begins praying,but leaves the carcass so that other animals can feed on it.

Reason(s) why you want to sign the contract to serve the king:
-Apart from the death of her father in a previous war,Argene signed the contract in order to protect the King.If the king was to die,another would take his place,and even more wars would continue,leading to even more bloodshed.The king now is a good ruler,and she intended to keep it that way.
-She dislikes the causes of war,especially the one that involves using Winterfall’s resources,which would no doubt lead to destruction of the beautiful fauna.She doesn’t want this to happen,hence her participation.
How loyal are you to the king: One has to wonder just how loyal she is to the king.She says she will serve the good king.But that’s what she added: ‘good’.Would that mean if she doesn’t see the good in the king,she won’t serve him?No one knows,but herself.
Skills/Talents: Argene is quite a good flutist,playing many of the kingdom’s greatest pieces on the flute she usually carries around in a pouch around her waist.She has a great affinity with the wildlife,even those that are quite hard to be tamed or approach.Her archery skills aren’t too far off.She is pretty good,but there are plenty others who are better than her.She also has minor knowledge with first aid which she applies when her allies have small injuries.

Abilities: With the power of Animals,Argene has to capability to befriend creatures of the wild,able to gain their assistance during fights.With this power,she is also able to calm down agitated creatures as well as be able to communicate with them through telepathy.It seems that the wilder a creature is,the harder it is for Argene to convince them and befriend them,hence the more docile creatures usually group around Argene.Other than such abilities,Argene herself displays several animal properties,such as her controllable pupils that are similar to a cat’s and allows her to see better at night.She has slightly enhanced vision,sense of smell and hearing.I wonder if this ability over animals can work on trolls and ogres?Hmm~
Limitations: If,by any chance,Argene forcibly coerces an animal into submission and she gets knocked out,the control over the animal is shattered.However,for those animals that have befriended Argene,there is no control involved,hence the animals are assisting Argene off their own free will.The wilder a creature is,the harder it is for Argene to mellow it down.Extremely pungent smells can affect Argene pretty badly,however,she isn’t very susceptible to loud noises.
Personal History: Argene and her younger sister,Fawn,were born to a couple who lived on the mountain,just above a remote but peaceful village.Since a very young age,Argene had always been able to interact well with animals in the mountain.And Argene insisted that she caught the glimpse of a dragon disappearing into the clouds,but were told by her parents that dragons were legends found in books.When they were young,their father participated in one of the wars and news reached them that their father was killed in battle.Their mother didn’t take the news too well,and after several days of pining,she proceeded to commit suicide out of her selfish grief,leaving Argene and Fawn alone.As the older one,Argene tried her best to take care of Fawn,but there was difficulties everywhere.It wasn’t long until even Argene had begun to think that suicide was a way out of their pained lives.She ran off alone in the dead of the night to the highest point of the mountain.Before she could throw do so,she witnessed the birth of a unique creature,the offspring between a Pegasus and a Unicorn.
The Pegasus sire merely stared at Argene with intelligent eyes,before allowing her to walk towards them.She sat next to the Unicorn mare and admired the young foal who was already standing on her legs and flapping her tiny undeveloped wings.Soon,both the Pegasus and Unicorn began to leave,pausing only to nudge their offspring with their noses and giving Argene a stare as if to say ‘Our daughter is yours to keep.Take care of her’.And surprisingly,the foal followed her back home.At first,it seemed that the foal was just a regular golden colored Pegasus,but as it grew up,her horn began to develop,showing that she wasn’t a Pegasus nor a Unicorn,but a hybrid of both.Eventually,she was given the name Zahavah and became the Wildrose sibling’s most trusted friend.The Wildrose siblings began living their live regularly after the appearance of Zahavah,whom Argene claimed was their lucky charm.Zahavah regularly flew down to the village below the mountain and brought the siblings goodies to eat,until finally,a mob arrived to check what was going on.They recognized the Wildrose siblings and heard their plight,finally realizing they had neglected their existence for quite some time.Since then,the villagers regularly piled up rations for Zahavah to bring to the mountain.
In their teenage years,Argene had managed to befriend every animal within the forests of the mountains,ranging from mountain lions,bears,deers,small rabbits,etc,etc.However,another war had begun to approach.And to Argene’s dismay,she saw an army approaching the mountain,apparently their first victim would be the village below the mountain,full of the kind villagers that had contributed to their growth.When the army arrived on the mountain,apparently deciding to use the height advantage for an ambush.Unluckily for them,they were the ones ambushed as well.Seeing as the army before her was quite little in number,she halted the advances of the army’s horses with her ability over animals,causing many of the warriors to fall of their steeds and to their deaths before.Those who didn’t fall were cleared out by her sister.One of the warriors mocked Argene before his death,threatening her of a large force that would soon attack the main kingdom.For the first time since Zahavah’s discovery,Argene and Fawn rode her down to the village to alert them.Seeing as none of the messengers were fast enough,she flew on Zahavah to Winterfall to seek audience from the King and warn him.
Unfortunately,she was not allowed entry by the guards.She yelled the news out angrily,but was dismissed.Several days later,the invasion begun.Casualties were suffered but they managed to drive off their enemies.This was the first time Argene witness the terrors of war.The guards that had turned her away found her and took her to the King,who begun questioning her several things.The King decided to give the Wildrose orphans a small place to live in,due to their ‘service’(The King said ‘It’s the thought that matters.’) and that their father had been one of the most dedicated soldiers in the Winterfall army.Now,it seems that both she and her sister have been called to the King’s court…but for what matter?
She truly believes in dragons,and hopes that one day,she can meet one.It’s part of her dream.

She has 7 companions.These are the creatures that she has formed great relationships with.
-Her pet mongoose,Garoo.Domesticated,but Garoo will still treat strangers with caution.Garoo is often seen around Argene’s shoulders.Garoo somewhat acts as Argene’s personal guard,especially when she goes to sleep.The only other person tha Garoo is comfortable around is Argene’s sister,Fawn,whom he also acts as a personal guard for.
-Her steed,Zahavah.Zahavah is the considered the first documented hybrid born from the exotic Pegasus and elusive Unicorn.She is Argene’s main source of transport,especially for long distances.A young Argene raised Zahavah since she was a foal,and the duo grew up together and are rather close.Zahavah seems to have a knack for appearing out of the blue when either Argene or Fawn requires her.
-One of the Ancient Bears,a race that governs their kind that are less intelligent.Sassacus displays amazing intellect enough to rival that of a human.He often converses with Argene.It seems that Sassacus has promised Argene the help of his own kind when she needs it.However,Sassacus has pointed out that they will not listen to anyone but her.Ancient Bears are more powerful than their normal counterparts,and have almost human-like dexterity.
-Fernis is a Giant Wolf that Argene befriended.His size towers that of any human,and he even towers over Sassacus’s size.A colossal force on Argene’s side,Fernis is usually her battle steed when she rides to battle due to his sheer bulk and threatening appearance.Sassacus has mentioned that Fernis may have even more strength compared to himself.Fernis was the most difficult creature for Argene to befriend,or as others call it,‘tame’.
-One of the elusive Centaur.Torin befriended Argene when she helped him regain his strength from an injury.During his recovery period,they talked about many things,although it was mostly Argene talking about human affairs.As a Centaur,Torin is quite tight-lipped about most of his race’s secrets,although he has told Argene some,which Argene stubbornly refuses to share.Despite rumors,Torin mentions that not all Centaurs are natural born archers,and they are similar to humans in the sense that there are medical Centaurs,warrior Centaurs,blacksmith Centaurs,etc,etc.Torin himself,is a very good archer and taught Argene how to use a bow.Argene admits that Torin is somewhat of a mentor to her.
-Thalassa is a Giant Turtle that Argene named.Thalassa generally serves as Argene’s method of transportation in water.
-Argene has a courier pigeon named Alida.Alida is considered a very good courier pidgeon and will deliver messages to whichever location she is able to recall.
She once provided assistance to a creature deemed mythical,even to them,a gryphon named SwiftTalon.The regal and intelligent creature offered gratitude by promising her that he would appear during her greatest time of need and assist her.But only once.
