Character Sheet
Name: Joshua Herring
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: Joshua has a lean, but slightly muscular frame which he has gained from running and fighting these past few years since the Infected started attacking. Typically, he dresses in black clothing with a green jacket and has unkempt dark blonde hair grown down to his neck. He is no giant at about 5"9, but he isn't small either. He is built more for running than fighting, though he has learned to master both in the school of Do or Die these past few years. His eyes are a forest green that look as though they used to be filled with laughter, though now they're more serious and a little scared.
Personality: Joshua is and always has been a rather kind person. He always hated seeing people hurt, which is part of the reason why he decided to study medicine. He wanted to alleviate pain and save lives. Though, he confided privately that he'd probably end up as a nurse as he couldn't imagine himself performing complicated life-or-death surgeries. Nevertheless, Joshua is a rather cheerful person, always trying to look on the bright side of everything. He does have a rather ironic sense of humor and mostly likes to see people safe and happy in these dark times. Those are the times he most savors now.
Profession: Medical Student
Weapons: An 8-shot Revolver:
A bat:
Bio: Joshua grew up in a normal enough family on the East Coast. No great tragedies happened to him save for the usual. His grandparents died when he was eight and he still sorely misses them as he remembers fun weekends spent at their house or in the park. His father was a writer and it was from him that Joshua got his ironic sense of humor and love for reading books. His mother was much more down to earth and was a pharmacist and she was the one that suggested he study for medical school. He was away at college when everything went wrong. The plague reached his school and spread quickly, many students becoming zombies and feasting on classmates and lovers. Joshua was one of the few that escaped. He joined a group and fled campus, hoping to find a safe haven with the military or the government or whoever was in charge.
Unfortunately for them, the government broke down and even the military just faded away as more and more infected attacked the innocent. Eventually, Joshua drifted from group to group, offering first aid and his limited skill as a medical student. He remembers when his first group was attacked and destroyed. He doesn't like to talk about. Suffice to say, he was the only one to escape and he still has nightmares of it and feels guilty, feeling like he should have done more to help his friends. Now, he searches for a safe haven, praying to God that there is one. He is mostly scared nowadays, but it is this fear that helps him survive. He fears being infected much more than death.
Other: He carries with him a basic set of medical supplies. Basically whatever he can get his hands on.
