Narruk Skinn

A hideous sight to behold, Narruk carries the appearance of a grotesque monster. Though, as many try to teach, appearances often lie. Mr. Skinn is a hunter that brings down his axe upon evil.

Please, do not be startled...
Though my skin looks withered and burned,
No, I am not evil, though my eyes are but black holes!
I tower over most humans, nine feet in all,
Though, my haunched back dwarfs me
I seem like stitched up, misplaced bones
My appendages are much too lengthy
My teeth are sharp, my smile too wide...
Why, come join me for a meal!

Do the skins I wear offend you?
The furry coats, my Axe?
Maybe I look too frightening...
But there really is nothing to fear!
Some think that I am evil,
For my manifestation is grotesque
Put ponder, child, and listen now...
Covers do books no justice!

It's not surprising that, at a glance, you'd think I would want to eat you! Well, you are small enough to just gobble up!
Oh, no, no, don't make that face! I am not going to eat you! I am too refined a gentleman to do such a thing!
Wait...why are you laughing? What was so funny? Something on my face?
What's that you say? I can't be a gentleman because I'm not human?
Well, I'm not human, but I am still a man, if that makes sense. I do not go so low as to bare down upon the innocent. True monsters, the ones with hearts of evil, those are my targets; they are the reason for which I carry these skins, for which I get my name!
And I wear them proudly; it is a badge of honor that says I am cleansing my world, making it less dangerous for the innocent, for the just, those who want to live without having fear or without instilling it in others.

I am Narruk Skinn, defender of the Oasis.

A rural-looking axe, blade large and sharp, looking very similar to the tooth of a large beast. There are a few blood stains around the handle, the same handle that is wrapped with the same types of skins that Narruk's armor is crafted from.

A staff that looks as rural as the Axe, crooked, peeling, but decorated with many a skull, dried heads, feathers, and beads on the top. Upon the side is what used to be a branch growing out from it. A Blueleg spider wove a web there, between the branch and the base. Every item, including the web, carries certain magical properties.
The skulls can bite and sever flesh from bone.
The heads can give hints for missing items and hidden enemies.
The feathers detach and become birds that can chase and peck at enemies.
The beads are strung into the web, and their powers are yet to be revealed.

So begins...
