Description

Image
Name: Leviathan
Nicknames: Levi, The First, God's Scourge
Sexuality Asexual || Panromantic
Age: 100,000,000+ years
Appearance: Levi, the creature of mythology, has the very peculiar ability to change his form. If you were to look at the default form of Levi, you'd simply see a black and amorphous sludge. For your ease however, I'll mention Levi's most commonly used forms.

Levi's first most commonly used form is the form of a human with black hair and gray eyes. Levi is, in this form, is at an average height of 5'9". Levi is completely expressionless and his body language is blank when in this form unless he willingly changes it. His body is slightly more durable in this form and it is nearly impossible to tell him apart from a normal human, unless you make him bleed of course. Should you happen to make him bleed, you'll see that Levi bleeds a black and corrosive substance. This substance is combustible.

Levi's second most commonly used form is the form most commonly known in mythology, the form of a large and monstrous serpent. Levi, to get into this form, must consume ridiculus amount of energy. After gaining enough energy to transform, Levi can transform into a creature larger than one of the biggest ships in the orld.

Personality:
"Genius, observant, and powerful"
Those would be the three words used to describe him if you were to ask people close to him.
Levi himself isn't 'good' or 'evil', he just is. Should it suit him best to kill a million innocent people, then he'll do so. Should it suit him best to save a million corrupt people, he'll do so. If anything, he's selfish.

Levi fears nothing but is not an idiot. For example, he shall not fight beings stronger him on a whim, nor should he do something guaranteed to kill him.

Levi never forgets anything. He has an eidetic memory and could, if you were to convince him to, recite all of Hamlet to you. Getting him to do this however, would be a pain.

Levi likes animals more than he does most human & monsters. Levi is able to easily bond with most animals quickly and would not go out of his way to harm them.

Creature: Leviathan
Brief Background Knowledge: Levi was created by a being presumed to be the god of Abrahamic religons. Levi was created without any parents and only two siblings. His siblings were Ziz and Behemoth, but this story is centered on Levi. Levi was, from the beginning of his creation, a powerful being. He was large, fast, and nearly untouchable. That is, until humans and other creatures came along. At the beginning, these beings were no match for Levi's awesome power, but the creatures soon grew in technology and were able to force Levi to stop toying with them.

Levi, from the day he stopped toying with humans on a large scale, blended in easily with humans. Levi became an influential person in human and Unknown politics, pulling strings in both places. Levi has, throughout time, seen most of what has happened as a simple observer. He, through interest, has made up a fortune in monetary value and could easily be considered the richest being on earth. Agelessness does have its perks after all.

Abilities:

Shapeshifting - As the Leviathan of myth, Levi has the uncanny ability to shift his form into nearly anything imaginable, should he have enough energy to do so.

Leech - As to make his shape-shifting ability more easily usable, Levi is capable of converting most energy into a storable form of energy and back. The Easiest way to do this would be to consume organic or thermal materials.

Magic - Levi, being able to remember everything, is able to use most magic prociently.

God's Will - Levi cannot, under any circumstances, be controlled by anyone other than his creator.
Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering.

Levi cannot be forced to do anything against his will, meaning that all his choices are his own. He can however, be forced into choosing an unfavorable choice through manipulation of a situation.

Weaknesses

Fire - Being a creature of the sea, Levi is easy to incapacitate if you were to manage to burn him. If you do manage to do so, you'll be able to lock him in a magical box and keep him unable to do anything until he happens to be freed.

His creator: Levi's creator is one of the beings able to permanently kill Levi. Levi's creator is thought to be the Abrahamic God, but who knows?

Borax - Believe it or not, Borax burns Levi like an acid would a human. It may be one of the only materials able to actually make Levi feel pain, but this is a well-kept secret.

Electricity - Electricity doesn't harm Levi directly, but it can when in large amounts, scatter Levi's control over his abilities.

The gang of men surrounded the girl. For every step they took forward, the frightened girl stumbled back until they were in one of the many alley ways of the city. It smells the girl thought faintly. And so it did. Forgotten garbage piled high in the very back and the unused cans were a paradise for vermin and bugs of all kinds. It was also a place where gangs hung back, especially just after getting a new pack of cigars or drugs, so there were all kinds of broken beer bottles and bloodstains littering the floor.
Crap. I’m stuck here in an alleyway, where no one will dare come into, with a huge gang of MEN. But the men themselves did not look unruly. In fact she would almost call them pretty, but they were too muscular. They had a strange aura about them that made them feel like predators. And she was the prey. Straightening her back she finally spoke, “I don’t have any money.” She had intended to have a firm, confident voice, but it had come out as a whimper. “No,” the tallest man agreed, “You don’t. But you have something much, much more.” The young woman gave a nervous laugh. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” “I’m sure you don’t.” The leader of the gang’s voice was smooth and cool. It made the girl feel as if she was drowning. She clutched the golden locket around her neck tightly.
Then, as if on cue, the men smiled. They all had extremely sharp canines. She shivered. “I believe it’s your turn, Carlos.” The man addressed a tall, dark, slender, teenager who had been hiding behind the group. “Yes. It will be my first time.” First time? That did not sound good. Instinctively the girl clutched her chest in a protective movement. The boy chuckled when he saw her movement and then stepped forward to place his hands on the female’s shoulders. “This should only hurt a bit.” The girl struggled to move away, but surprisingly the thin boy was stronger than she was. He leaned forward towards her neck and sniffed. He’s smelling me? But that was the last thing she thought.
The boy bit down hard but she hardly felt the pain. It was the feeling of agony and yet she felt pleasure. There was a numb tickling sensation in her neck. Her body twitched and then she couldn’t feel anything at all. Her knees buckled. It all seemed to happen in the blink of a second, lights dancing and flashing in front of her eyes. “Shit, he’s taking too much blood!” Suddenly the boy was torn from her body and the limp figure fell to the ground. Faintly, as if it were just a passing thought, she heard a snarl and some yelling, but she was too drained of energy to care. She felt dry and flimsy like a rag doll. Her vision was blurred and the ground was so, so cold.
“I take pity on you, human. You weren’t meant to die. Besides, our kind needs you.” A warm, caramel sweet voice trickled into her left ear. She felt the teeth sinking in again, but this time she didn’t flinch. She knew he was going to kill her. Finish her off, drain her, so she would feel no pain and wouldn’t have to wait for her death. Her body braced itself, waiting for the pleasurable tickle and the feeling that a part of her was being taken away. But it never came. In its place was pain. Agonizing torturous pain. Followed by the itching as the burning poison swept through her.
The scream that night was loud. But not loud enough to be heard over the roaring of cars on the main street. Not loud enough to be heard by a wandering human. Not so loud that Rosetta didn’t hear the chilling words that carried on the cool night breeze.

“You’re one of us now.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rose opened her eyes. Her face was still contorted in terror but there was not a drop of sweat nor was her heart racing like it should. Her breathing wasn’t normal either. In fact it seemed almost like she wasn’t breathing at all. But that wasn’t possible. At lightning speed she sat up. It was just a dream. It was just a dream. Just a dream. Dream. Dream. But she knew it wasn’t. It had been a week and she still couldn’t figure out what was happening to her. Like every morning she brought her knees up to her chest and curled up, attempting to shut herself out from the rest of the world. But it didn’t help. Tiny pin pricks of liquid threatened to drop from the corner of her eyes. She didn’t even realize she was crying until little splotches appeared on the thin bed sheets. She didn’t particularly care anyway.
The apartment room around her was a mess. Somehow she had gotten home when she had woken up seven days ago. Her memory was hazy, that was normal, but it was a surprise when she started bawling and throwing a tantrum like a little kid. She had torn her books off the shelves, broke dishes on the kitchen floor, and even snapped a chair in half with strength she didn’t even know she had. She had promptly passed out. When she regained conscious she had drawn the curtains only to hiss and shrink away from the bright rays of afternoon light. Hissed. As if she was an animal.
On top of that Rose was starving, but everything she ate she immediately threw up. Now she spread herself out and hopped off the bed. As she walked she passed a partially broken mirror. She couldn’t even recognize herself. Her eyes had changed color. They were a deep dark blue, almost black. Tear streaks ran down her face and her usually smooth hair was ratty and tangled. After a few paces however a sweet rustic smell hit her. Looking at her bare feet she realized she was standing in shards of ceramic from a broken bowl. Her right foot was splotched with red blood. Blood. That’s right; she had considered suicide but when she tried to cut herself the sight of blood made her mind whirl. She felt her fangs slowly elongate as she contemplated the red mess on the ground. What was going on? Tearing herself away Rose ran across the room towards her closet. She needed to get out more. She was going stir crazy. Yes that was the problem. She had imagined the fangs. To the park it is! She pulled on her favorite pair of jeans and a tank top. She finished the combination by pulling on a light hoodie. Then she rushed out the door.
Ashton walked along the cracked paved road. He had been walking like this for hours. Occasionally a car would pass by and sometimes even stop. The driver would ask him if he needed a ride. Each time Ashton smiled politely and told them that he was fine and that he preferred walking. Of course that was a lie. He would definitely take a car over foot any day but not if it had a human in it. He wasn’t about to get into a rundown car and have a reckless monkey drive him to the nearest city. Besides if he walked, maybe he could become more agile. Like that was ever going to happen. But his skills were rusty and the last vampire he’d fought had almost won. Key word, almost. Ashton wasn’t going to let a filthy mosquito beat a high upper class Fey like himself. He had, of course crushed the thing flat, but not before he forced it to tell him where the rest of his clan was. The bloodsucker was pretty vague but he had given directions and then begged to be set free. Ashton smirked at the memory. He would love to see the day when he saw a vampire and let it go without at least injuring it. This thought actually made him laugh aloud. His laugh wasn’t an “I’m-laughing-with-you-and-not-at-you” kind of laugh but it still sounded delicious; a laugh that made one want to listen to it all day, even if it was vicious. This all came naturally, him being a Fey.
Ashton was still smirking when he came to the sign. Its red paint was chipped and flaking at the corners. In white letters it read Welcome to Akron City. Indeed he was on the outskirts of a small city. If one could call it that. It looked sad and run down. Sure Ashton could see big modern buildings in the distance, but it looked more as if the city had been attempting to copy New York and had failed miserably. It would be easy to find the vampires here. Even though Ashton had been exiled he knew he HAD to keep hunting the bloodsuckers. At least until he found the ones who killed his mother.
Already he could feel his adrenaline rushing and the sound of vampires screaming. His eyes darkened a bit in excitement. Slowly he stepped into the city.
The arm of a werewolf-like creature twisted under Levi's grip, causing pain to shoot up the creature's arm and for the creature to roar savagely.
"I'll kill you, you dam-"
The creature stopped speaking and began howling in pain.
The werewolf, named Romulus, had his arm ripped off its hinge. The creature, full of rage and adrenaline after have had one its limbs amputated, blindly ran towards Levi. The creature, having already grown a new but weak hand, was able to strike at Levi with both hands. It seemed as if the creature would not die from losing a measly limb.
Levi did not manage to dodge the attack, having expected the creature to have run away. Levi was, due to the creature's supernatural strength, launched ungracefully against a brick wall. The body of Levi's human form had been beaten to the point of no longer being able to move. Levi however, was not a human.
Levi shifted into his default form, the black and amorphous substance he had been at his birth. The impact had hurt, but Levi would have to bear through it. Romulus, the creature, smirked at what he thought to have been easy prey and approached the puddle of what seemed to be blood. He had never seen such a creature before and had been slightly scared, having assumed that the creature was a legendary one. Romulus shifted back into a human form and crouched down to see the puddle. Now that the creature was simply a stain on the ground, Romulus felt no fear and let his guard down.
Levi wrapped himself around the creature's body almost instantaneously, having given it no chance to gather its bearings. Levi first headed for the head, then entered the creature's body. Romulus was dead a few seconds later. Levi called the police with the victim's phone number, using an untraceable voice and leaving no fingerprints.
Afternoon
Park
Levi, his clothes being biological in origin, had not a single sign of the incident that occurred earlier on him. The crime scene however, was an unorganized mess.
Levi pulled out his phone, then went onto a website. It seemed as if the news had spread around quickly, the website already having had made an article on the incident. The website was of course, not an actual and completely reliable news provider, but a lot of people in the city still used it.
The article read:
Hello readers!
It seems as though we've had an incident just recently. The time of the incident is uncertain, seeing as there were barely any remains left. The experts' best estimate would be that the incident occurred recently, from the range of 1-2 hours.
Yes, you heard me right, there were barely any remains. The victim is unidentified and tests are still being run to see if our city can find who the pour soul was.
The victim seems to have been killed through pressure from the inside of the body. It is theorized that the victim was killed through some new sort of pressure bomb, or that perhaps this was an act of terrorism gone bad.
The incident was reported through the victim's phone by an anonymous person. This person is assumed to have either been a part of the incident or simply a passerby, each situation holding a different meaning.
Evidence is pointing towards this person being a suspect, seeing as there were no fingerprints on the phone nor was the voice used recognizable.
There are also rumors that there was a black substance found at the crime scene, but law enforcement has not made a comment regarding this.
More regarding this story will come as it develops.
Levi flinched at how the story was written, but couldn't do anything about it. He wasn't the owner of this website and had no power to edit it. He didn't see what was appealing about the website, but decided not to worry too much about it.
Levi did however, worry a bit about the black substance mentioned in the article. He had slipped up and let some of what he assumed to be his blood be found. He decided that he would have to break into wherever his blood was stored and steal it back before people found out too much about him. He didn't want his existence becoming public knowledge. He already knew how it was to be targeted publicly and didn't want to go through that again.
Levi turned off his phone and sighed. Technology had made his life easier but it had also made it harder. He sort of did miss the times when fishermen would come to him at sea and idiotically challenge him in the water. He missed the times when he, the Leviathan, was the king of the sea. He stopped reminiscing on his past and stood up from where he was at, then aimlessly began walking. He wouldn't get anywhere remembering his past.
Jennova
Image
The other children at the human elementary school always looked down on her, she was different, she didn't belong there. They were right though... She wasn't human, so why did she have to stay there? Possibly because her parents abandoned her, she had no true home. She was adopted by humans when she was only three years old, and grew up thinking she was a human, though she didn't age like one. She could go a long time without food, and for some reason she could make others do what she wanted them too. She was looked at as a freak, a monster to the humans..
The last day she spent with humans she will never forget. She was walking home from school when a group of human children from her class started to chase her down. The children chased her to the city park, where they circled around her with knifes in some of the little children's hands. She breathed hard, scared for her life.. Though before any of the children could come any closer to Jennova, a woman stepped out from the darkness. She was tall, beautiful and yet she had a look of darkness to her. Jennova didn't get to see what the woman did to the children but suddenly they all disappeared. The woman slowly turned around and picked up Jennova, taking the small succubus to her home.
That was the night that Jennova was saved by Ashton's mother and given a home where she wasn't judged.
Jennova stood in the middle of Akron City, not liking what she saw around her. Well, it wasn't exactly something that others could see. She saw the auras of the vampires that were hiding in this disgusting city. She was looking for different colors, the red ones counted more then the normal blue ones. The vampires were starting to become a problem in the world of the Unknown, making problems for Valentine. Normally, Jennova wouldn't bother getting herself involved into something like this, though recently there have been attacks happening outside of 'Val's Tavern'. There is one rule that is simple for every human and every unknown to follow; no hunting in or around Val's Tavern.
Jennova sighed as she threw her kataina over her shoulder and let it hit the ground, making the fey next to her jump in surprise. "Haha, well someone's a bit jumpy?" She laughed at Valentine, dodging when the girl threw a rock at her. She shook her head and turned to pick up the kataina she had let fall only seconds ago. There was an odd scent in the air, something familiar yet new to her, it only made her hungry. She turned to Valentine who was already looking in the next building, so Jennova decided to ignore the scent and her hunger. She followed Valentine into the next building and smiled when Valentine asked Jennova something she loved to talk about.
"So, what are your feelings for everyone now?" Valentine asked Jennova, giving the succubus a mysterious smile, stopping in the door way to talk
Jennova thought to herself for a few seconds before smiling back at her. "Well, I think I'm attracted to Ashton more than I really should be. I adore Asher because he's fun to play with and I can't exactly kill him if I really decide to feed off of him. But that Levi is my favorite. He's adorable and Delicious."
Valentine laughed loud at Jennova's response and shook her head turning around to continue walking. "You don't look so well, why don't you go feed?"
Jennova nodded at Valentine and handed the girl her sword before turning to leave. She took her time walking around, dusting off the black skirt she wore that showed off her long legs perfectly. She wore knee high boots that were black as well, and just to add more black her leather jacket fit in well, though her shirt sort of got ruined in the first few battles with the vampires, it was ripped and half falling off of her.
Jennova picked up that strange scent again and decided to follow it, she hid behind a dead tree as she watched a human fight off a vampire. The poor boy did a horrible job at it but managed to survive. Jennova licked her lips as she gracefully walked over to him, stepping over broken building pieces as she did. She tapped his shoulder and kissed his cheek, not using her seduction on him just yet. "Well hello there, what are you doing out here?" She looked around at the vampires aura that were slowly fading as if knowing not to mess with a succubus. Jennova turned back to the boy and wiggled her nose, he wasn't a normal human. "Don't worry I'm not a vampire." She told him with a smile. "What's your name?" Jennova asked him putting her hands on his neck and using just a tad bit of seduction on him as she let her chest push against his.
Valentine
Valentine wasn't too happy at the moment, due to the fact that it was always the vampires who cause trouble in her tavern. She only had one rule, why was it so hard for the vampires to follow it? Jennova, (The only known succubus) could follow it, the other feys could follow it and even the humans could follow it. So why couldn't a few vampires follow her one rule? She didn't understand it, not one bit. So here she was on a search hunt for a vampire named Michael, he was the one that attacked a group of young female humans right outside her tavern. And she would kill him, only something didn't seem right, only the loner vampires were coming out to play with Jennova.
Once they had stopped coming out Valentine let Jennova look around for the red aura that Michael carried, the only reason his was red was because she had just fed off of him in the last 24 hours. Valentine heard Jennova's sword drop to the ground and practically jumped out of her own skin. When Jennova laughed at her Valentine threw a rock at her, though she was still a little too scared to really aim very good.
After Valentine and Jennova talked for a while, Valentine could hear two vampires talking about a fey woman, she knew who exactly they were talking about and didn't want Jennova to know that the two vampires in this building were talking about Ashton's mother. Jennova didn't know that a vampire killed that woman, and Valentine happened to know that Jennova loved that woman, too bad she was dead now.
Valentine watched Jennova leave before walking up the broken stairs to the abandoned building. The vampires could smell her now and started to retreat but she happened to make it there in time, blocking their only exit. She could also smell another fey close by. She knew exactly who it was, (Ashton)
"Why are you talking about Ashton's mother, Michael?" Valentine asked the reckless vampire.
Dyson
He sat on the bench in the park, looking at every face that went by. He could almost tell the humans apart from the monsters. He ran a hand through his hair, watching a girl that was covered up a bunch for someone that was out in the park when it was super hot outside. What was this girl thinking? (Rose) He watched her carefully, deciding to find out what monster she was. He slowly pulled out the pocket knife in his hoodie and slowly cut his palm as he stared at her, waiting for a reaction of some kind.
(Sorry Dyson's is so freaking short. I didn't know what to say for him >.> This post took me two hours to write)
Rose shivered uncontrollably under the shadow of the tree she was hiding under. It was not because she was cold, in fact she was the exact opposite of that; burning up in the blazing hot sun. It was because of the sun that she was trembling. It seemed to burn her wherever it hit her skin, a piercing light that hurt more than anything else she’d experienced. Except for last week. She reminded herself.
Nevertheless, she had made it to the park as a whole, although she wasn’t sure if her mind was with her or not. Was it not odd that she could survive a week without food or water? Or that she couldn’t stand to have the light shine on her? As if to prove that there was nothing wrong with her, she stepped out of the shade and into the open. Her immediate reaction was, of course, a small hiss and catch of her breath. But she refused to let her body take action on the instinct to move away.
As she pulled up the hood of her jacket to shield her face a sickeningly sweet smell hit her nose and made her, once again, catch her breath. Every time she inhaled it hit her with dizzying force which overwhelmed her. I could stop breathing. I could do it. She knew, of course, that it should be humanly impossible to be able to stop her breath. She was only breathing as a habit that she had become accustomed to in her mortal years. If she just stopped breathing she would be able to ignore the sweet, yet bitter, metallic smell. But she didn’t. The scent was sickening but at the same time strangely intoxicating. It made her forget her hunger pains pushing everything else out of her mind.
It wasn’t enough. It was only a smell. Rose wanted more. Her senses were tingling and she slowly turned around to detect the source of the aroma. A delectable meal was sitting mere meters away from her on a park bench, just waiting for someone to feast upon him. The man had somehow cut himself, though it mattered not as to why or how. Rose attempted to appear casual as she walked closer to her victim. She had never been quite good at acting; in fact one might say she was rubbish. But somehow in her time of need it came naturally. As she neared she could audibly hear the pulsing of the boy’s veins and arteries. It excited her to an even higher extent than the knowledge of how daring she was being out in the open. Her fangs, by this time, were already extended. Oh God, I’ve gone mad. I want to drink this guy’s blood. His freaking blood. What next? I’ll start sparkling in the sunlight? The small voice in the back of her head whispered to her not to do it. But the blood lust was much too strong for her to control. She could hardly hold back any longer.
When she finally reached him she had gone into reckless abandon. To hell with it all! She sat down on the park bench flashing the boy a smile. She hoped she looked at least mildly attractive and not like some crazed psycho. Rose was aware that she had little sex appeal but all she needed was to put this man into the smallest of trances before she sunk her teeth in.
I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but notice that you seemed to be staring at me. Is there something you need?” Her eyes darted to his bleeding hand and then back to his face. She patiently awaited his answer, excitement accumulating with every second.
The inside of the city was just like Ashton had expected, rundown, shabby, a sorry excuse for a city. But then again most human cities were. Obviously mortals didn’t have the best sense for building…or much of anything really. Ashton would almost pity the lesser intelligent beings if not for the fact that pity was for the weak. He wandered around the city for a short while before coming to a stop in front of a seemingly abandoned building. But his sixth sense was at work and he could feel that there were three figures in the edifice; two of them vampires and one Fey. His lip curled into a malignant sneer that somehow looked graceful upon his lips.
Interesting. A Fey and two vampires and yet no sign of a struggle. Perhaps I should intervene.” But when he arrived he discovered that the Fey he had sensed was an acquaintance of his whom he had met through a certain succubus. Valentine was one of the rare fey who was actually kind hearted and cared about others. This changed things for Ashton as he wasn’t sure how she would react to him killing the blood suckers.
Just then, Valentine spoke, “Why are you talking about Ashton’s mother, Michael?” Immediately his anger flared up. What mosquitos dared to trade petty gossip about matters that did not concern them?
Yes,” the male Fey said in cold voice dripping with venom. “Tell us why, Michael.
Afternoon
Park
Levi was one of the few beings to have actually seen the first vampire and he was no stranger to them, he knew the signs of the recently turned. This was the reason for his noticing the, to him, obvious newborn walking through the sun. It was either that she was a newborn or she was just an idiot, no experienced vampire walked in the sun without enough power or protection.
He, at that moment, made up his mind regarding what he would or wouldn't do to the newborn. He decided that he would help the newborn get on its feet, otherwise risking the revealing of monsters to the general public.
Levi studied the vampire(Rose) closely, getting the impression that the vampire had not succumbed to being a monster yet. That was when he saw her move towards a male. Levi assumed that the male had acquired an injury of sorts, otherwise the girl most likely would have been able to handle the urges.
Levi, the instant he saw the girl's fangs, calmly began walking up to the vampire, Rose, and her possible victim. He managed to get close enough to hear what was said, then close enough to speak.
"I'm terribly sorry for interrupting," Lie, "but do any of you two have internet connection?" Levi put on a sheepish grin, one meant to make others think that he was embarrassed.
"I sort of forgot to bring my phone with me and I need to check the news." God, he was good at lying, but he probably should have chosen another cover story. "I heard there was a bloody murder earlier but I don't have the specifics." Levi began speaking as if he was nervous and that he spoke a lot when he was nervous, hopefully adding to his facade. "I wanna make sure my fangs are stuck deep into the story before I end up being the person to learn about it firsthand." Levi said this last part mostly so that he could tell the girl that he knew what she was.
Levi himself was mostly there as a warning for other monsters or hunters that may have wanted to take advantage of a newborn vampire. He made his power as visible as he could to those with supernatural senses. He was hoping that the young vampire, along with other monsters, was at the very least skillful enough to pick up on his power. He himself may not have been able to sense a hunter's aura, but he was sure that a hunter could sense his should he wish them to.
Dyson
Dyson smirked at the woman's movements, she was clearly a vampire, and most likely a new one at that. He should just kill her off now, save her the guilt that comes with feeding. Then again this park was surrounded by other monsters and humans that had no clue about the supernatural activities that happened around them.
Suddenly he noticed that she was walking over to him, and that someone else was staring at him in the shadows, he looked away for a split second and then felt a person's presence next to him. He looked at the woman who he was just watching and looked down at his hand, taking out a piece of cloth from his pants pocket and wrapping his hand up as she spoke to him. “I’m sorry, but I couldn't help but notice that you seemed to be staring at me. Is there something you need?" She asked him.
Dyson took his time answering her, sighing before he looked at her again. "Just admiring what I see. Is there something wrong with that?" He flashed her the same smile she gave him, showing her that vampire tricks did not work on him.
Just then another monster came up to two and Dyson shook his head. "I don't, but I really should be going." He said with a smile and got up, walking towards the south part of town where his house was, it was just around the corner from the Tavern where he'd be tonight.
Valentine
Valentine felt Ashton's presences before he spoke, she held her blade up toward Michael's neck. She did not know the other vampire, but she was only here for this one. "Michael, I already have one reason to kill you, if you give me another I will make sure you die a slow and very painful death." Valentine was not a good fey to mess with when she was mad, of course she wasn't anywhere near as strong as Ashton was but still, messing with her was not smart at all.
"It doesn't concern you why I am talking about that worthless woman." The vampire told Valentine, she simply turned around to face Ashton. "Make sure his death is painful after you get the information out of him." She told Ashton before leaving, down the stairs. Not wanting to watch Ashton kill the vampires, she hated seeing someone die, but even she wanted him dead. She waited outside the building for Ashton, she was almost sure that he'd want to know that Jennova was here.
Jennova
"I do" Takeru told Jennova, though she knew it was really her talking. She smiled, even bigger this time before she kissed him, letting just a bit of his soul essence come out. He tasted amazing and she would have loved to take him home and give him a real treat but she never did that to people she had just met. After she had taken as much as she needed she helped him sit down and sat next to him.
It only took about five minutes for her seduction to wear off, once he was back to his normal self she smiled. "There you are, thanks for the treat." Before he could speak she continued. "Don't worry, I'm not a vampire. I'm a succubus. I feed off of a person's soul essence. I never kill the person unless they deserve to die and you can't catch my virus or monster like stuff." She tried to explain that but it didn't work so well.
"My name is Jennova, you should probably get out of here." She told him, standing up and looking around, she wobbled as she took a step back and almost fell, she felt like she was high. But she loved it, so she didn't really care.
The man returned her smile and threw a quirky remark at her. Damn it all! He knew what she was. And probably before she'd known herself. She was about to lunge at him in a suicidal attempt when suddenly they were interrupted by yet another male asking for Internet connection. Before she could answer her little snack got up and left with clipped parting words.
"Can't a girl get some food around here?" She muttered to herself before looking up at the man before her and eying him wearily.
"I wanna make sure my fangs are stuck deep into the story before I end up being the person to learn about it firsthand." So he knew. But then again who didn't? Apparently she was as good as a walking advertisement when it came down to being a vampire. As always when she was nervous, Rose tugged on her locket. It always gave her a cool and refreshing comfort when she needed it but right now it was pulsating slightly in her fingers. She let it go, allowing it to hang free. She contemplated the man in front of her once more before speaking again.
"Hi! I'm Rose. I don't suppose you can be captivated by my allure either?" The girl sarcastically batted her eyelashes in a exaggerated motion before continuing. "You wouldn't happen to know if there's a blood bank I can break into, or anywhere they happen to sell, oh I don't know, human blood?"
Now she was rambling. In fact, this man intimidated her slightly, but she wasn't about to show it. She had freaking fangs for crying out loud. She wasn't going to be scared of some tall dark stranger. Okay, she was, but that was besides the point.
Image
"Michael, I already have one reason to kill you, if you give me another I will make sure you die a slow and very painful death." Valentine said this slowly and deliberately with a stable voice which would've been impossible for Ashton as the vampires would have been dead by now. When it came down to the leeches Ashton had a short fuse that was ready to explode at any moment. For instance this moment was looking like a particularly well chosen time to rip a few heads off, disassemble a few bodies. The usual.
"Make sure his death is painful after you get the information out of him."
Ashton's eyes lightened in color at the opportunity. He smirked and took out a silver dagger as Valentine left the room. Michael eyed the knife and finally gave a conceited smile.
"Really? A dagger? How very intimidating. And here I was thinking that you'd actually be worth my time." Staying silent Ashton tossed the dagger at the bloodsucker.
"Don't get too cocky now. You'll be needing that if you want to have a chance to survive. But let's get your friend out of the way first, shall we?" Ashton drawled in an almost lazy fashion. With a few quick motions he had captivated the second vampire's attention. Ashton smiled coldly at Michael's lackey and gave him a simple command.
"Kill yourself."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ashton retrieved the dagger from the dead man's grip and licked off a few flecks of blood. It was bitter a rusty. How could the leeches like such a disgusting fluid, much less if it were from a human. A Fey's blood was pure of course so he was positive that his own would taste much better but of course no vampire before had been lucky enough to sink their teeth into him and no vampire would ever have such a chance in the future.

He realized that his feet had carried him outside while he'd been lost in his victorious thoughts. He came up beside the awaiting Valentine quietly.

"That's was... Enjoyable. Needless to say, it was a long awaited kill that I used to release some stress." He flashed Valentine, not quite a smile, but a facial expression that was somewhere in between cold and warm.
((Sorry, this isn't very well written, its extremely short, AND I didn't write out the fighting scene, but I'm kinda short on time and on an iPad which I am not accustomed to typing with so...Sorry! :3))

The alarm went off and tama clawed her way out of her cacoon of sheets, sweeping her hand around untill she knocked the annoying, beeping machine off its table. Glaring at the clock on the floor she noticed that it was 2:00pm, well she was late for school...
Dragging herself to the bathroom she began her daily routine with a shower which woke her up, going to the kitchen next for breakfast she opened the cupboard to reveal millions of multi coloured sweet wrappings. Grabbing the nearest pack of skittles she sat down in front of the TV and turned on the news, a story was being told of some bloody murder surprisingly near her house, there had been no evidence on the victim and the anonymise called had used an unrecognisable voice. There had been some type of black blood discovered at the scene which confused authorities. Sighing tama quickly turned of the TV and packed her bag, ready to go and explain why she was SO late for school.
Tama was walking through the park that she used to get to school, god she hated school but her parents insisted that she went even if she saw it as pointless.
As she wondered through the park with her headphones blaring she spotted two monsters and a human, the human was getting up to leave somewhere but the two monsters remained.
She was feeling bored and hadn't spoken to those of the unknown for a while. Getting closer she noticed the girl to be a newborn vamp and the male was... OMG he was the leviathan! The one her parents told her once ruled the seas, the scary creature fisherman told tales about and the monster that could destroy whole ships without even trying.
Finally arriving next to the two monster she grinned childishly, "Hay there! Couldn't help but notice you little party over here, so might i ask whats going on?"
She found herself wondering if they could sense she was a kitsune, after all she was master of illusions and shape shifting, she would be a little upset if she wasn't able to, at least, fool the newborn vamp.

Asher Evans Immortalis

Image
"My God...... my head hurts...." Asher groaned as he finally got himself out of his bed. These past few nights have been very.... interesting to say the least. The silver-haired boy kept on getting attacked in his own sleep by the same succubus over and over again. She seemed to just be toying with him rather than wanting to kill him. To have his dreams and sleep interrupted by the hellspawn is very agitating. At first Asher ignored the girl but he began to become more and more hostile- only for her to seduce him and prevent him from attacking her.

Asher walked around his apartment, preparing himself some breakfast and checking the local news via the Internet, the television, and the newspaper. Why was an Immortalis in this town, anyway? Too much supernatural activity. Mysterious murder cases began to arise in this town with signs pointing to succubi, vampires, Feys, every single type of monster in folk tales you can think of. Now if there was only an angel Asher can punch in the face. Send that message to God, will ya? Asher smirked. For all the Immortali everywhere that was created according to you-

The Immortalis's thoughts were gone the moment when he saw a certain news report on a website.

Hello readers!

It seems as though we've had an incident just recently. The time of the incident is uncertain, seeing as there were barely any remains left. The experts' best estimate would be that the incident occurred recently, from the range of 1-2 hours.

Yes, you heard me right, there were barely any remains. The victim is unidentified and tests are still being run to see if our city can find who the pour soul was.

The victim seems to have been killed through pressure from the inside of the body. It is theorized that the victim was killed through some new sort of pressure bomb, or that perhaps this was an act of terrorism gone bad.

The incident was reported through the victim's phone by an anonymous person. This person is assumed to have either been a part of the incident or simply a passerby, each situation holding a different meaning.

Evidence is pointing towards this person being a suspect, seeing as there were no fingerprints on the phone nor was the voice used recognizable.

There are also rumors that there was a black substance found at the crime scene, but law enforcement has not made a comment regarding this.

More regarding this story will come as it develops.

The article is about a murder case. The only thing that caught Asher's eye was the mention of a certain black substance and how the murder was carried out. There weren't many ways known to anyone to make someone's body die from pressure from the inside. The black substance, however, sound too familiar. But where have I heard it from....?

Sighing, Asher exited from the in-private browser. He turned off the computer and gathered his clothes- blue jeans, a dark blue V-neck T-shirt and a jacket with gray artificial fur on the hood and cuffs. The Immortalis got out from the apartment and breathed in the "fresh" air. No, it was polluted. One of the reasons why Asher prefers to be in the past- he wouldn't have to choke on air. Asher looked around for a bit before beginning to walk around the town. Maybe I should go to that Fey's bar......

Afternoon
Park

Levi would have went chasing after the human had he been more reckless and not worrying about a newborn vampire revealing itself. He instead waved the human away, "I guess I'll see you later then," Levi didn't know that there was no need to keep up the facade for the human, seeing as Levi couldn't tell hunter from human unless he himself was being targeted.

"Hi! I'm Rose. I don't suppose you can be captivated by my allure either?" The girl seemed to have a sense of humor shown by her actions while saying this. Levi laughed quietly when she said this, then put on a dramatic voice, "Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering." Levi quoted a bible, then began to elaborate, "Unless whichever capricious deity watches over us decided to make my mythology false, I'm pretty sure I'm immune to mind control." Levi 'forgot' to mention what he was, deciding to let the girl figure it out on her own. He was already gauging her. He needed to know how much the girl knew about the underworld.

"You wouldn't happen to know if there's a blood bank I can break into, or anywhere they happen to sell, oh I don't know, human blood?" Rose, as was revealed to be her name previously, was blunt. Levi at the very least had to give her that. Levi feigned surprise, "Oh my, you want to break into a blood bank?" Levi shook his head, "I'm sorry to say thi-" Levi stopped, smirked, then began talking normally, "18600 Ventura Cir, there should be a blood bank there." Levi bluntly stated this, his smirk growing larger by the second, "I have no qualms killing innocent people for their blood, being a monster and all, but we can break into the blood bank later if you're still not used to, you know, being a vampire." Levi paused for a second, "Just give me a second to sort some things out."

Levi got on his phone, then attempted to contact Michael the vampire, but got no answer. "Damn it Michael," Levi shut his phone with a bit too much force then put it away. Levi had met an ...interesting vampire previously in his life and had used said vampire to his advantage. Levi had a simple business relationship with Michael, meaning that Levi wouldn't hunt down Michael's killers should Levi ever hear of Michael having died. Levi couldn't spend his time hunting down the killers of every monster he met, that would take up all of his time. Monsters died, as did humans, it just happened.

Levi turned his attention back to Rose as a ....kitsune approached the two monsters. Levi wasn't able to tell hunters and humans apart from a glance, but he could definitely tell apart monsters. Well, the question of whether or not kitsunes were monsters was debatable, but Levi stopped this train of thought before he got too distracted. He could think about that later, he had something else to deal with now. "Hay there! Couldn't help but notice you little party over here, so might i ask whats going on?" The kitsune seemed cheery enough, so Levi didn't passive-aggressively attack the kitsune with words. "Rose, the lovely lady next to me, and I, Levi, were just about to move out of this harsh sun." Levi acted as if he had known Rose for most of her life. Levi didn't give the kitsune's race away so he could, once again, gauge Rose's abilities. He needed to know who he was, if she accepted his help, be teaching the ways of a monster. "Anyway, Rosy, I have some at home that you can have." Levi was, of course, referring to blood. It wasn't his blood, but it was blood that he had bought off of Michael for a situation like this. There was no way Levi was going to give a vampire his corrosive blood vampire dead of course, but he didn't want Rose dead. "Hey Kit," He was referring to the kitsune, using a nickname in place of an actual name without giving away the girl's species to Rose, "You wanna come along? Assuming Rose actually has time to come of course." Levi didn't plan on forcing either of them to come to his house, he had no reason to.

The boy had started out civilly enough but had then stopped short in mid-sentence. He had then appeared to realize that there was no point in putting up his human façade any longer since Rose obviously knew he was some sort of supernatural being or at least knew of these creatures. However, whatever he was, the female vampire, not only new to her own body but to the supernatural world as well, could not determine. Something was telling her, though, that he was old. Older than any human could ever dream to be. Yet he looked as if he were in his early twenties, if not younger. Wild explanations jumped into Rose’s head; the fountain of youth, the undead, even time traveling but as quickly as the thoughts came she dismissed them.

The man had surprised her by actually giving directions to a blood bank and then astonished her even further by saying that he didn’t mind killing people. Rose’s stomach turned at the thought of murdering people, drinking their blood, and sucking the life out of them. As a human she could never stand the news stories about homicides, but thinking that she would actually be the one snatching away lives made her nauseous. Speaking of murders, the boy had mentioned a recent felony that Rose herself had not heard of seeing as she had been living under a rock for the past week. Could the crime be, perhaps, not committed by a human, but instead a monster. Monster. Oh my god, I’m a monster. I drink people’s blood. I kill people! Rose had begun to enter a panic state when a young girl in her late teens wandered up to the group. She looked cheerful and had a light fluffy aura around her which Rose could somehow sense. She could also tell the girl was not human. Of course not. Rose could not figure out exactly what the girl was but it seemed as if it were on the tip of her tongue. She only needed a small push to figure it out.

Wow, didn’t realize I was so popular today.” Rose muttered the statement with bitter sarcasm, a bit of jealousy seeping into her voice. How unfair was it that these two people seemed so calm and composed whilst she was a wreck? It was unjust in her eyes, but then again last time she had checked life hadn’t exactly been fair.
"Hey there! Couldn't help but notice your little party over here, so might I ask what’s going on?" The girl’s voice brought her out of her reverie just in time to hear Levi, as he introduced himself to be, speaking.

"Rose, the lovely lady next to me, and I, Levi, were just about to move out of this harsh sun." He said this with a comfortable ease, as if he had known Rose for a while. For a moment it felt like she was with her friends, hanging out, and participating in normal, everyday activities. But then the moment disappeared and she was reminded with a wave of harsh reality that she was standing next to two strange creatures she barely knew, whose species were not supposed to exist in this world. Like hell she was going to trust them. Then he invited the two to his house.

One could not blame Rose for being paranoid after the recent events but she suddenly felt as if everyone in the world was out to get her. “Perhaps there is a more, ah, public area where one could get drink. ((OOC: How about we have them head to the tavern. That seems to be where everyone else is going and it would make sense for them to serve blood and for there to be an abnormal amount of supernatural attracting at one spot.)) Not that she didn’t want his company. She didn’t know what she would do if she was left alone in this ordeal. But being practically alone with Levi and the other girl seemed a bit too of an ambitious goal to go for just yet. She crossed her fingers behind her back, hoping that he wouldn’t get angry and suddenly turn into some serpent or something and kill her right then and there.

Valentine laughed light heartedly at his comment. "If you wanted to release stress, why not go visit Jenn?" She joked with him. "I'm sure you'll have a best friend discount, right?" At the mention of Jennova, Ashton really did smile. Well, as close to a smile he could get. He had a soft spot for the succubus, he had to admit. He hadn’t always liked her, not in the beginning when his mother had brought her home. But over time they had grown pretty close. It’d been a while since he’d seen her, say a few centuries, so he was unaware if she knew of his mother’s death or not. He wouldn’t say anything, not at first anyway.
Before long Jennova and a human appeared, both in relatively revealing clothes. As he surveyed the ripped material and drunken way the succubus staggered Ashton smirked.

A bit too early for dinner, don’t you think, Jenn?” he said, referring to man who had appeared with her. After all, Ashton viewed humans as food and playthings for the greater creatures. But there was something a bit off about this man. He was definitely a pathetic human but also something else. Something a bit more monstrous. Unless Ashton was mistaken, this man was a half-breed. It was disgusting that a supernatural being would dare to sink down to the levels of vermin and even create an offspring but it happened nevertheless.

He’s a pretty nice catch for a mortal, I’ll give him that.” Ashton directed his words at Jennova. “Do you plan to keep him?” Ashton talked as if the man was a dog that had been abandoned and picked up off the street. He didn’t even think about the fact that he might be provoking the human. His words came naturally as he had been raised as an upper class Fey to view most beings below his status. His voice, as always, was smooth and natural, one word flowing out after the next. But it also contained a slight taunt as if challenging the mortal.

She smiled at the idea of being able to escape school and he could see where the legendary leviathan made his home, bonus! Granted it was probably the same as hers, just an apartment or something, but hay a girl could dream!
Glancing at rose to see if she liked the idea she could tell immediately that she was nervous, which was fair enough being a newborn probably meant she was human before and had no clue about monsters, she also had no way to protect herself as newborns are pretty venerable, unlike Tama who knew how to escape scary situations easy which made her more comfortable going into a strangers home.
She heard rose mutter out uneasily, “Perhaps there is a more, ah, public area where one could get drink.”, That was perfect! She had wanted to pop into Val's later anyway for some more fire whiskey, to replenish her elemental energy.
"Let's head to Valentines Tavern! She is really nice and her tavern probably sells the stuff you want to drink!" Tama said happily, jumping up and down in excitement, she wouldn't have to go to school! Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!
"By the way my names Tama, but please call me Tammy!" She smiled at rose and Levi
She had been to Val's tavern on many occasions when she was bored and it was how she met most of the monster community, she like done place as she had been going there for over 50 years and knew most of the taverns patrons as well as they knew her.

As the man’s actions suggested, Ashton had apparently succeeded in setting off a fuse. Not that he’d been trying to; not really. But there would always be rivalry between human, Fey, and other Unknown creatures. It briefly flitted across his mind to leave it at that, pass the whole ordeal off as him having a bad day. But the notion was gone as soon as the lower being began to talk.

"I hope you forgive me, but I did not notice you were blind uh... well, your name's probably not that important anyway. I recommend that next time you go to the mall that you get some glasses along with your manicure. But it is okay, don't think anything of it. Just call me Takeru.” So the name was Takeru, eh? Immediately Ashton was amused. This trivial human actually dared to stand up to him. How feeble this creature was, at least in physical strength. Ashton could, without a doubt, crush him flat. But then again, he wouldn’t be Fey if he didn’t toy with his victims.

So it speaks? I wonder what other tricks he can do. Has he been taught to beg yet?” He sneered at Takeru before continuing. “It would seem that he has quite the temperament. Perhaps he needs a bit of training.” Of course at this time Ashton was being openly hostile. He was not one to back down from a challenge, so he wouldn’t let Takeru’s words go without notice. However he’d tone it down before it became an all-out fight for Valentine’s sake. Valentine was one of those reasonable Fey whom he’d usually mock. However he’d been in a relatively good mood upon first meeting her and he’d found out that she was pleasurable to be with. It had been the same with Jennova and basically all his close friends. He was never off the bat friendly, always belligerent before affectionate.

The girl had obviously been very excited about the opportunity to go to Levi’s house, yet Rose had burst her bubble. However she renewed her cheery composure again so quickly that it seemed she had never lost it. She then had begun jumping up and down repeatedly in an exited fashion. So energetic she was that Rose couldn’t help but smile and give a little chuckle.
"Let's head to Valentines Tavern! She is really nice and her tavern probably sells the stuff you want to drink!" Rose had momentarily forgotten her blood lust, caught up in the emotions of the seemingly teenage girl before her. But now she remembered and she craved it more than ever. "By the way my name’s Tama. But please call me Tammy!" Tama said it as an afterthought.
Ah, I’m Rose.” She was aware that Levi had previously introduced her but she felt the need to speak for her own. She smiled at Tammy concentrating hard. If she focused just enough she could see a blurred outline of ears and a tail attached to Tama. “Pardon me for asking so abruptly, but do you happen to be part cat?Way to be discrete, Rose.

“Pardon me for asking so abruptly, but do you happen to be part cat?” Tama nearly jumped right out of her skin when rose said that. No way! She can't be that bad at illusion! And she was not a cat! "No, I am not a Neko! I am the noble and honourable Kitsune!" Tama cried, okay so maybe noble was stretching it and she was in no way honourable but the kitsune a were a good race even if they did specialise in tricking others, Seeing no point in keeping the illusion up for the two people in front of her she let her red ears and tail pop into existence.
"We Kitsune are fox spirits not part cat! We are also more powerful than Nekos!" Again a small exaggeration but come on! Tama was proud of her heritage!
"But don't worry it's an easy mistake to make if you are a newborn, so I will forgive you this time, now come on!" She gabbed both Roses and Levi's hands, and began to drag them in the direction of val's bar.

“Perhaps there is a more, ah, public area where one could get drink.”
Rose, the vampire, picked the most sensible choice. Levi smiled approvingly, "Good choice and don't worry, I probably wont eat you for saying this." Levi was, obviously to himself, joking about eating Rose. He could have most likely physically done so, but he didn't very much like the taste of vampires.

Levi thought about public locations that could help her with her, no pun intended, drinking problem. He was about to mention Val's tavern when Tama, as she later introduced herself to be, beat him to the punch. "Yes!" Levi had gottena bit to excited at the fact that Tama also wanted to go, mostly because he himself was fond of the place. It was a strange sight to see Levi excited, but not a rare one.

Levi, being pretty damn old, had visited a lot of the locations that helped monsters throughout the world and Val's tavern was one of them. Levi's stomach began to growl and he felt a sudden hunger. Being Levi did have its cons and his hunger was one of them. Levi, having for most of his life been a giant sea monster, had gotten his body used to eating a lot.

Levi smiled when Tama so estatically attempted to protect her species from a debatable insult. Levi himself had, surprisingly, never actually remembered seeing a 'Neko', so he couldn't figure out whether or not Rose had indirectly insulted Tama. "I'm going to assum-" Levi was stopped from talking by Tama pulling him towards Val's tavern. "Rose, do be careful not to anger the patrons there." Levi didn't very much think she could fight another monster after having been in the sunlight for so long and having been denied a meal. "Or at least wait till you've drunk blood before you start a fight." Levi didn't want to seem as if he was stopping her from fighting. She could fight whoever she wanted for all he cared, but she should at least have drunk blood.

"No, no, no, no, no! No getting into fights you hear me! Your too weak to be doing that with being in the sun, not having had you first blood yet and being a newborn! To the patrons there you will easily be destroyed so dont, I repeat don't, get in a fight." Tama repremanded, sending Levi a girl at his nonchalance attitude towards the idea of rose getting into a fight. Yes, Tama had only just met the girl but she liked her and she was not going to let her be killed.

"When you go in there just follows a few simple rules, don't talk to anyone, don't make eye contact with anyone and don't touch anyone because your new to our world and you don't know the ins and outs, what does and doesn't offend, who will and who won't kill. Me and Levi will be with you so you should be fine but please try to keep a low key until you are used to the world of monsters because some of us... Well some of us are less accepting than other." Was the only thing Tama said before pushing open the bars doors and revealing a crowd of monsters.

Jennova was a little uneasy at the moment, her head was spinning and staying in control of what was around her was a lot harder then it looked. Succubus don't get high, so the fact that she did was a bit weird even for her. She looked up at Ashton who she had no idea would be here, and gave him a smile.

“A bit too early for dinner, don't you think, Jenn?” Ashton said, making her smile a bit. Jennova glanced down at the ground, and unaware of the fact that Ashton could be taunting Takeru. “He's a pretty nice catch for a mortal, I'll give him that. Do you plan to keep him?” Ashton then asked Jennova, she couldn't pull it off as him just being a friend because even he knew she didn't do that and it sort of scared her that she wanted him as a friend.

Takeru waited a while before answering Ashton himself, Jennova wasn't aware that she had to introduce the two but now it was a little too late. “I hope you forgive me, but I did not notice you were blind uh.. well, your name's probably not that important anyways. I recommend that next time you go to the mall that you get some glasses along with you manicure. But it is okay, don't think nothing of it. Just call me Takeru.” Jennova woke up a bit to that because nobody spoke that way to Ashton and lived afterwards.

“I like to play more then I like to eat, you know this Ashton.” Jennova let her arm fall from Takeru's and almost fell herself as she made her way over to Ashton, putting her arm around his waist and leaning her head on his shoulder as the two walked. “I'm sorry he likes to talk back, maybe that's what I like about him. Though He's weak and I'm going to give him one of my special drinks when we get to the Tavern. So deal with him please?”

Valentine
Image
Valentine laughed at the comments that the two men were giving each other. She loved it when someone stood up to Ashton, besides Jennova, because the woman always got away with it. Valentine decided to wait to introduce herself to the one known as Takeru until she was at the Tavern and everything was ready to go.

The walk there was about ten minutes, due to the fact that something was wrong with Jennova and she couldn't walk as fast as she normally did. When the four got to the tavern, there was already a line forming.

Valentine watched as Jennova half stumbled over to Levi and gave him a big kiss on the lips. “I missed you” She told Levi. Valentine groaned and marched over to Jennova, grabbing the succubus by the arm and dragging her pink haired butt to the front door. Jennova rubbed her arm where Valentine had grabbed her and waited for Valentine to open the door.

Once Valentine did open the door, Jennova walked in after the woman, with Ashton and Takeru close behind her, then everyone else was allowed in by the amazing security the small white haired woman was able to hire.

Tammy was visibly offended as soon as the words had left Rosetta’s mouth. The “Kitsune” as the girl was revealed to be, took no hesitation in telling Rose her true heritage and showing that she was proud of it. It amused Rose as the girl bragged about being an “honorable” and “noble” Kitsune which Rose vaguely recalled from Japanese folklore to be a cross between a fox and human. Rose also remembered that they were known for their cunning and sly trickery, often using magic to get away with things. The newborn vampire wasn’t completely sure if the whole legend was true but she figured it was accurate enough.

“But don't worry; it's an easy mistake to make if you are a newborn. I’ll forgive you this time. Now come on!” Tammy gave her a reassuring smile before surprising her by grabbing ahold of her hand and pulling both of them (Levi and Rose) in the supposed direction of the bar or “tavern” as old fashioned as that sounded.
“Rose, do be careful not to anger the patrons there.” Levi spoke slightly startling her. But then again, what else was new? She had become accustomed to the feelings of fear and surprise. “Or at least wait till you've drunk blood before you start a fight.”

Rose laughed at Levi’s last piece of advice. How daring she would have to be to start a fight with the supernatural. She had always been relatively meek in front of strangers. But monster strangers? Needless to point out, she’d most likely be terrified. Hopefully Valentine, whoever she was, was against violence and had a big heart, as her name suggested.

She was about to make some witty comment about how a Kitsune, a vampire, and a, well whatever Levi was, walked into a bar when suddenly Tammy interrupted her. The fox-girl seemed to have a habit of doing this, but Rose didn’t particularly mind. Just being around the girl made her feel relaxed and calm, as she radiated a very positive vibe.

“No, no, no, no, no! No getting into fights, you hear me? You’re too weak to be doing that after being in the sun, not having had your first drink yet, and being a newborn! The patrons there will easily destroy you so don’t, I repeat don't, get into a fight.” God she was adorable! She really did remind Rose of a fox, a baby one yet still somehow mature. The vampire beamed, momentarily forgetting that her life had probably taken a turn for the worse starting a week ago. How at ease she felt. She could almost feel the knots in her muscles loosening, the mental stress pile shrinking, and her very body unwinding into a state of leisurely enjoyment.

“When you go in there just follow a few simple rules; don't talk to anyone, don't make eye contact with anyone, and don't touch anyone because you’re new to our world and you don't know the ins and outs, what does and doesn't offend, who will and who won't kill. Levi and I both will be with you so you should be fine but please try to keep it low key until you are used to the world of monsters because some of us... Well some of us are less accepting than other.”

Tama had set out some rules for the tavern which Rosetta was grateful for. But Tammy’s words had begun to drift in and out as a burning pain seared near the middle of her chest. She fumbled for a second before finally getting a hold of the locket which turned out to be the source of her pain. It was burning hot almost as if it the metal were being held over a fire or being cooked in an oven. She dropped the locket from her hands as it had begun to transfer heat to them.

Something compelled her to look up; something distracted her, though she didn’t know where this otherworldly force had come from. But the feeling was so strong that she obeyed and looked straight into piercing green eyes. The pair of dull orbs belonged to a young blonde man (Ashton) who was somehow…perfect. There was truly no other way to describe him. Rosetta could not tear her eyes away. Crap. I only just stepped inside and already I’ve broken one of the rules.

The man disconnected the eye contact first and only when he did so did Rose notice that the locket had returned to its usual ice cold state. She observed his companions closely, wondering if all monsters looked like they did. One of them, a girl with long white hair, (Valentine) looked equally impeccable and flawless. Perhaps they were related? Although they looked completely different in physical appearance, the air around them both was superior. If air was not invisible, Rose was sure the oxygen surrounding them would have been blinding.

The third person of the group was a stunning girl (Jennova) with, ah, a lot of extra weight in the bust area. Although Rose was fairly certain that her sexuality was heterosexual she couldn’t help but blush a little when her eyes rested on the girl’s slim figure.
Lastly, straggling a little ways behind was roughed up man who look weary and mildly pissed off. He too was handsome but he seemed different from the rest of the group. He almost looked, well, normal. Was it possible that he was human? If so what was a human doing in a place dedicated to mostly monsters? God, how she hoped he wasn’t someone’s idea of entertainment, or worse yet, dessert.

Rose averted her eyes from the odd group that stood out from the rest of the crowd and turned to face her own inconspicuous little gathering.

So,” she said trying to conceal her worry and fear with a weak grin while attempting to sound casual. “How about that drink?

Jennova had apparently sobered up a bit as she had removed herself from under the dog’s- Takeru’s arm. She careened her way over to Ashton putting herself in place under his arm and latching onto his waist as she spoke. “I like to play more then I like to eat, you know this Ashton.”

True,” he whispered it mischievously into her ear before stroking her hair softly and finally draping is arm over her shoulder. He harbored no romantic feelings for the succubus ((OOC: Not yet, anyway. >:3)) but it was common practice for the two. It was almost like a game to see who could seduce the other first. They each had their own unfair advantages in the game and so it had never fully come to a close or ended. In other words, the winner had yet to step forth.

“I'm sorry, he likes to talk back, and maybe that's what I like about him. Though he's weak so I'm going to give him one of my special drinks when we get to the Tavern. So deal with him please?” If it had been anyone else Ashton would have refused or ignored the request. He was, after all, not the type to carry out these sorts of things. However it was not “anyone else” asking and so Ashton complied.

If you insist.” He would put up with the annoying Chihuahua (this is what he had deemed Takeru) for now but he made no move to promise that he would create a permanent truce between them. At the current time, however, there was no way around it.

When the group finally reached the tavern, the top middle of Ashton’s torso began to get warm ((OOC: This is the locket’s connection between Rose and Ashton.)) for no obvious or apparent reason, constantly rising in temperature. A while after the bar had opened a certain girl (Rosetta) caught his attention. As soon as her eyes made contact with his own, a burning flare of hatred was coursing through his veins. He tore his gaze a way a second later to take a gander at her companions and suddenly the raw and raging emotion was no more.

The girl’s friends turned out to be a kitsune (Tama) at a pretty young age for her species, and a Leviathan (Levi). Or really the Leviathan. The long forgotten king of the sea. Haven’t seen him around in ages. Ashton wondered what such a powerful creature was doing with, well, not so powerful creatures.

The girl herself turned out to be a vampire, newly turned by the looks of it. Her species might have explained his sudden desire to rip her throat out due to his past, but somehow Ashton didn’t think so. It just didn’t click. He wrinkled his nose slightly in disgust before turning away.

He just now realized that Jennova and Valentine seemed to be steering the gathering towards the bar. Ashton wasn’t a big fan of alcohol as getting drunk didn’t appeal to him. But perhaps he’d order a drink to distract himself, just this once…

Tama noticed quickly that rosa was staring at someone and also noticed the flash of rage that appeared in Ashton's eyes... Well ttphere goes rule number 1...
“So,” Rose said with a weak grin trying to sound casual “How about that drink?” Tama nodded her head and entered the bar along with the crowd.
"That was Ashton, banished fae, vampire hater and slayer most of the time." Tama said, pointing at the blonde rose had been staring at. She hoped her words would be enough to make rose realise that this place wasnt a game and although no one was allowed to fight at val's, that didnt stop them from killing you later.
Suddenly she realise how she was acting and had to stop herself laughing, she was becoming a worried and protective a newborn?
Shaking her head she took a seat at the bar, "Glass of fresh blood please and a bit of firewhisky." Ordered for herself and rose because she knew what they both wanted, also she wasn't to sure if rose was all to comfortable about ordering blood. She turned to Levi to indicate that he should also place his order.

"No, no, no, no, no! No getting into fights you hear me! Your too weak to be doing that with being in the sun, not having had you first blood yet and being a newborn! To the patrons there you will easily be destroyed so dont, I repeat don't, get in a fight."
Levi simply shrugged at this in defeat. He wasn't going to argue a valid statement. He wasn't an idiot and he knew that Rose might get killed in a fight, but he knew that fights still happened. It was best, in his opinion, for her to drink blood before the possibility of a fight had started, but he didn't voice this opinion.

I missed you The succubus, Jennova, had for some strange reason kissed Levi. Levi, had he been someone else, most likely would have fallen under her spell. There were however, large differences from Levi and others. First of all, Levi was asexual, meaning that he had a lack of sexual interest in anyone. This obviously meant that Levi would be unaffected by a succubus's advances. Second of all, Levi was protected by God's Will, one of his abilities, allowing him to not be controlled by anyone but his creator. Due to these two facts, Levi didn't feel very much from the kiss. It was a just a kiss to him, so Levi simply waited and was eventually saved by Valentine. "You're going to have to try better than that Jen." Levi said this nonchalantly.

Levi's eyes began to slit like those of a serpent when he saw Rose drop the locket. It was reflex for Levi to get ready to fight at a moment's notice, one that Levi was occasionally thankful for. That was when Levi saw Ashton and had returned his eyes to his normal state, he assumed that he could easily convince Ashton not to rip out Rose's throat. Levi didn't dislike Ashton, but Levi did find Ashton's dislike for vampires slightly troubling. Levi assumed that Ashton was with Jennova, Valentine, and the curious human-like creature. There was also the fact that the tavern was a safe-zone of sorts.

"So, how about that drink?" Rose was the first to mention the reason they came here. Levi followed Tama into the bar and sat to the right of her. "Glass of fresh blood please and a bit of firewhisky." Tama beat Levi to ordering. Levi smiled when he was indicated to order, revealing teeth that soon morphed to become serrated. Levi, thankfully, didn't feel pain when shifting his body. "I'll have the usual." Levi was, from that order, obviously a common person at this bar. The usual, for Levi, was a combination of Human blood, an alcholic beverage, pixie dust, angel blood, and some demon blood.

Levi pulled out a bag, opened it, and revealed that the bag appeared to be larger on the inside. The bag wasn't bigger on the inside, in fact, the space that one would be looking at wasn't even inside of the bag. The space was one at Levi's home and the bag was in actuality a magic-based portal. The portal could be disruspted, but Levi still had back up money in the actual bag's inside. Levi looked into the portal and shuffled through caegars, gold coins, silver, and many other types of currency before finding suitable money. Levi wasn't careful with the bag, seeing as he could easily open and close portals to the location at his house. Levi, having used american money for most of his time at the Tavern, pulled out a few $20 bills and paid up front. Levi never kept tabs, he considered it dangerous. Levi usual was slightly expensive, but Levi didn't particularly mind.

"Tama, I heard that those pesky hunters are trying to get warp-hole keys. Do the kitsunes know anything about this?" The Ones, as far as Levi knew, had been trying to this for a while. Levi however, had seen an increase in activity recently. It wasn't anything new, the trouble between the Ones and 'Monsters', but Levi always found it to be troublesome. "Wait, don't answer that, we have to explain to Rose what all this is." Levi spoke a few mili-seconds after he had mentioned the hunters attempting to get keys, not giving any time for Rose or Tama to have said anything. "So rose, what do you want to start with?" Levi asked this hoping that Rose at the very least had the sensibility to ask important questions: like what he was, what warp keys were, what parts of vampire mythology were true, or other equally important things.

"That was Ashton, banished Fey, vampire hater and slayer most of the time.” Perhaps that was why the man had glared at her. Because she was a vampire. Wait, Rosetta thought, pausing in her tracks for a moment as they headed over to the bar. Aren’t Fey…Fairies?

When they reached the counter Tammy ordered both of the girl’s drinks and then looked over towards Levi implying that he should order his own refreshment as well. “Glass of fresh blood please, and a bit of fire whiskey.” The Kitsune set out the order with the ease of a regular customer. The bartender seemed to be familiar with Tammy as well as Levi as when Levi ordered “the usual” there was no question as to what it was. Rose was grateful for the little helping hand she got from her two companions but she realized she needed to step it up. For Christ’s sake, I’m eighteen. I should be able to handle ordering a simple drink. Although she thought this it made her stomach queasy just to think about asking for a cup of blood. She wondered just how “fresh” this blood was and where the supply was coming from. Then again, maybe some things were best left unknown.

Levi’s small transformation did not go unnoticed by Rose. His eyes had earlier metamorphosed into slits, and his teeth had now become serrated. But she didn’t mention it. She assumed he was some sort of shape shifter, although that didn’t feel quite right. But she’d find out soon enough.

Levi paid for the drinks with American money which caught Rose’s attention. She supposed it was a normal occurrence to use American currency but still it seemed so natural to Rose. She would have thought that people in the bar would have used glowing coins or cash that was on fire. Then again, that was highly unrealistic as well as improbable.
As the drinks arrived the three sat down at the long counter silently. Rose eyed her drink wearily as well as hungrily before raising it to her lips.

To a new life,” she toasted to herself.

The glass bumped against her canines which she hadn’t realized had extended. She forcibly retracted them before once again bringing the liquid to her lips. As soon as the first drop had hit her tongue she tilted the glass up greedily taking in ever last bit of the thick refreshment. She no longer felt parched or hungry. The blood was sweet, cold, and delicious. It rushed down her throat and with it came the relief of blood lust.

God knows I needed that.” She said running her tongue over her teeth. Setting her glass down, she signaled for the bartender to come to her side. She then ordered another glass of the dark red substance this time with a few shots of vodka on the side. When the second serving of drinks had arrived Levi broke the silence in the group.

“Tama, I heard that those pesky hunters are trying to get warp-hole keys. Do the Kitsune know anything about this?” Of course there were hunters. Rose assumed that these “hunters” were out to get monsters. And now she herself was a monster. She downed her shot of alcohol as Levi continued. “Wait, don't answer that, we have to explain to Rose what all this is. So Rose, what do you want to start with?”

Rose took a deep breath to steady her voice. The alcohol was making its way through her system and causing her to feel light headed. In a flash she recalled the late night parties when the high school kids would sneak out of the orphanage to crash college parties or for a drink. She had gone along once or twice and she had never been able to stand more than two or three shots of vodka. Even one made her dizzy. She was vulnerable to alcohol and got drunk fairly easily.

Okay,” Rose said once she was able to talk without a slur. “So far I know that vampires can go out into the sun but they will be weak. They can go without blood for long periods of time and I believe I’m correct in saying that they only require blood when they are first turned and, after turning, only when they have lost blood.” Rose truly hoped this was so as she really did not need her morals burned down any further than they already had been. She really did not think she would ever get used to having to kill people for food. The fact that she was now a vampire hit her again with full blow but this time she hit back with determined force. She began to speak in first person as a sign of acceptance of this new world.

Apparently they- we can sense other being’s species but I’m not exactly good at that. There are some people who I have yet to figure out.” She raised a brow questioningly at Levi but did not verbally ask him. “Okay so question time! What the hell are warp keys? Who are these “hunters” and why are they out to get us? ((OOC: Just so you know; the answer is that they hate that the monsters have invaded Earth.)) What exactly are you, Levi? What kinds of different monsters are there? Are they ruled by a higher being or…? How-“ Rose cut off her flood of questions as she realized there was no way that they’d be able to answer the thousands of tumbling inquiries in her head.

Sorry. If you couldn’t tell I’m a bit stressed.” She laughed a bit drunkenly. “Okay all I need to know is what warp keys are and how they affect us. And what species you are, Levi.” She added as an afterthought. Then she remembered the seemingly human man from earlier. “Also, and this isn’t too important, but are humans allowed in the bar? Just a bit of curiosity on my part.” She set down her glass and took another long breath. She was starting to regret the vodka. Her head was buzzing and her stomach was turning.
((OOC: No Ashton POV in this post! Sorry ^o^" Tagged Takeru cause he's briefly mentioned.))

Work. Something the woman hated to do and she didn't even need the money. She was a succubus who got everything she wanted by using her own abilities. She lived in a big fancy house, with nobody but her self. Sometimes Valentine would come live with her when she got sick of her own home, but besides that Jennova was -believe it or not- a rather lonely person. She could have anyone in the world but choose to be alone. If you ever asked her why then you'd probably be amazed by the answer you'd get.

Jennova looked over at Takeru when he spoke, looking at her, and clearly asking for a drink. So she made him the tavern's best beer, in a nice cold glass. She set it in front of him and smiled, not speaking to him as she moved on to the next person. She glanced over as Valentine started to bring buckets of red liquid out from the back room. Valentine quickly started to make blood drinks for anyone that used blood as a main source.

The way you paid for every drink you got at the Tavern was sort of interesting to Jennova. Every month a bill would be needed to be paid with the months worth of drinks you had. Many people had done favors for Valentine (giant favors) where they had gotten discounts or possibly a free tab for life. Jennova had a free tab for life, but that was for a very special reason, one that involved her twin sister and that she would never tell a living soul.

Jennova overheard that there was a new vampire in the tavern and decided to go ahead and welcome her to their world, she made her one of a kind drink made for vampires. She called it a 'Bloody Rose', which simiply was red wine mixed with human blood, it was- as she heard- a great yet pricey drink. She gracefully walked over to where the new vampire sat and set the tall skinny glass in front of the vampire who sat by Tama and Levi. "Hello there. This one is on me, welcome to our world." She told the vampire with a smile and started to clean some cups since the sink was right there.

Jennova sneeked a glance at Ashton, smiling shyly, she hadn't seen him in quite a while and missed him horribly. Then she got herself staring at Takeru, only when he caught her eye did she look away. Why did she care about a human...

Valentine
Image

Things at the tavern were just as crazy as very other night she worked, making drinks, stopping fighting and kicking people out. She hadn't even been open for 15 minutes before some crazy guy tried to go after a poor human who had ordered a burger and some fries. Valentine didn't do any of the cooking, but always checked it. Her human servants who were paid greatly did all the cooking and donated blood to her bar daily. Without them her tavern would be nothing.

When everyone had been served at least two drinks she found that she had nothing to do. She glanced around her tavern, watching people until her eyes stopped on Takeru. She smiled to herself and happily walked over to where he sat by the bar. She rested her arms on the counter and folded them to lean against them as she stared him down. After a while she smirked. "My name is Valentine, sorry about earlier. I was in too much of a rush to introduce myself and Jenn seemed a bit too loopy to do it herself." The white haired girl smiled at the human. "I'm sorry she attacked you, she's not as bad as she seems. In fact she's the complete oppistie of what she puts herself out to be." Valentine told him before another guy came to the counter, she quickly served him and went back to Takeru. "Hey, we have food if you want some. You don't have to pay me until the end of the month. Here's a menu." She said pulling out one from under the bar he was sitting at.

Tama froze up as Levi asked her about the warp keys, and than relaxed when he changed his mind. Of course the Kitsune knew about humans trying to get warp keys, What did he take them for? The Kitsunes where masters of illusion and tricks and therefore were on of the best spies. A Kitsune had long infiltrated the hunters base and often leaked their plans to the higher up Kitsunes but never the other monster.
She had been told by her parents and sworn to secrecy and she would not of told Levi the truth but she didn't really like lying to people she knew and considered a friend! The Kitsune species didn't partially care about others outside their race, except for individuals who had their Kitsune balls stolen, and they didn't want the humans figuring about about their bug so they just never said anything. Tama felt her fingers run across the ball in her bag.
Tama wasn't really paying much attention when she noticed rose asking Levi loads of questions in rapid fire and without thinking sent back rapid fire responses to the ones she heard.
"Warp keys allow us monsters to travel between worlds, hard to find. Hunters are humans who found out about us, they hate us cause we 'invaded' earth and they were powerless to stop us. Levi is a Leviathan. There are hundred of us, really to many to count. And some might say we are controlled by the Fey but that's really up for interruption." She took another gulp from her glass and gave rose a grin, "I need to pee so you can continue asking Levi question!" She said happily before skipping off to the girls toilet.

The drinks had arrived.

Levi would have drank his ordered beverage, but he had decided to see how the newborn vampire enjoyed blood. He found it amusing that her canines had bumped the glass but not amusing enough to make him laugh. Levi then watched her seemingly devour the blood with the greediness of, obviously, a vampire.

“God knows I needed that.” Rose ironically said 'God'. Levi would have pointed this out, but he had begun asking about the keys and later retracting his question.

“Tama, I heard that those pesky hunters are trying to get warp-hole keys. Do the Kitsune know anything about this?" Pause, Wait, don't answer that, we have to explain to Rose what all this is. So Rose, what do you want to start with?” Levi had previously said this and was followed by Rose asking questions.

"Warp keys allow us monsters to travel between worlds, hard to find. Hunters are humans who found out about us, they hate us cause we 'invaded' earth and they were powerless to stop us. Levi is a Leviathan. There are hundred of us, really to many to count. And some might say we are controlled by the Fey but that's really up for interruption." Tama gave a, in Levi's opinion, basic explanation. Levi was about to begin elaborating, but the girl... skipped to the bathroom. "She.... she literally skipped there.." Levi said this mostly to himself before composing himself.

"I'll tell you more about these things." Levi began speaking.

"A warp key is, as its name implies, a key of sorts. There are portals located around the world that lead to the 'Unknown', basically the twilight zone. These portals are unlocked by the aforementioned warp keys. These keys can be in the shape of toothpick, a shoe, a pencil, or other small objects." Levi quietly and quickly pulled out one out of four keys that he had managed to acquire, this one being in the shape of an actual key, then put the key into his bag for protection. "Tama said most about the hunters, except for the fact that they're ridiculously organized and set on killing monsters. I'd say they're wrong for killing us so blindly, but that would be hypocritical of me."

"As for religion or control, some monsters follow lucifer, some follow their respective higher-ups, some follow the fey, and some don't follow anyone. It's a shaky system." Levi nodded to himself at the end of this, "As for what I am," Levi's teeth returned to their normal state, then his canines mimicked those of a vampire. "I'm a... no, the 100,000,000+ year old Leviathan of abrahamic mythology. Shapeshifting, magic, defense against mind control, and conditional immortality." Levi's teeth returned to normal and he began drinking the beverage he had ordered.

"Hello There, this one is on me." Jennova, the succubus who had stolen a kiss from Levi, had given an introductory drink to Rose. "Hey there Jen," Levi waved lazily to the succubus. Levi was one of the few patrons at the taverns that paid up front, making him a trustworthy and common customer. "I killed Romulus, the guy that comes, my bad, came around and messed with your customers, in self defense of course. You might have already heard about it on the news, but I just wanted to clear up any misinformation." If Jennova had seen the news, she may have already known considering that not many creatures had black blood. Levi had been attacked by Romulus to get respect in the monster underworld, it was a common thing for monsters to do and not all that surprising for Levi.

The Kitsune answered Rose’s questions at the same pace Rose had asked them, one after another in a rapid fire. It didn’t exactly surprise Rose, after all Rose had certainly encountered much more shocking occurrences in the past few days, but she had not expected an answer to all her wonderings.

Rose laughed aloud as the Kitsune then proceeded to abruptly stand claiming the need to use the lavatory and then skipping to the bathroom. “She.... she literally skipped there…” Levi murmured to himself in a slightly shocked sort of way. Rose, her ears now being very keen, picked up on it and gave another chuckle before Levi began to elaborate on Tammy’s explanations.

“A warp key is, as its name implies, a key of sorts. There are portals located around the world that lead to the 'Unknown', basically the twilight zone. These portals are unlocked by the aforementioned warp keys. These keys can be in the shape of toothpick, a shoe, a pencil, or other small objects.”

“As for religion or control, some monsters follow Lucifer, some follow their respective higher-ups, some follow the fey, and some don't follow anyone. It's a shaky system. As for what I am,” Levi morphed his teeth into fangs as to mimic Rose’s before changing them back in order to prepare to take a sip of his drink.

“I'm a... no, the 100,000,000+ year old Leviathan of Abrahamic mythology. Shape shifting, magic, defense against mind control, and conditional immortality.”

Rose raised both her brows at the man before her as she listened to his description of himself. “Impressive…” She finally said after a moment of letting the new information sink in. She had never before heard of such a creature but then again when had she ever studied ancient mythology of any kind. Though she did know a bit about Greek mythology she was close to clueless when it came to much of anything else.

Suddenly the woman who Rose had been inspecting earlier came over to them and set a drink down in front of her. Apparently the word that a newbie vampire was in the tavern had spread quickly as the woman welcomed her warmly. She sniffed the drink before raising it to her lips and sipping while at the same time watching the encounter over the rim of the mug. It tasted… red if that was possible. She could taste blood mixed with red wine, an odd tasting mixture but not necessarily a bad one.

Levi began to speak of killing a man who had apparently been causing trouble around the bar. Rose recalled the murder he had mentioned recently and wondered if the two subjects had some sort connection. When she glanced at Jenn however, as was the woman’s name according to Levi, Rose wasn’t sure if the woman was completely aware of and attentive to what Levi was saying. She appeared to be giving a sideways smile to someone before her gaze shifted towards the human Rose had seen earlier. Rose put her drink down and attempted to get Jenn’s attention.

Thanks for the drink, by the way.

Ashton caught the smile that Jennova shot his way and was about return it when her eyes slid over to that pesky flea of a man that had once again made his presence noticeable. For a moment he felt a twinge of jealousy, but it was immediately snuffed. Jealous? How could he be jealous of such an insignificant and fragile human presence? It was not in his emotional capacities. He refused to acknowledge this new found emotion. Nevertheless he travelled over to where Jenn was placing a beverage down on a counter.

Only when he arrived at his destination did he realize Levi and the new vampire, whose eyes he avoided, were there as well. “Levi,” Ashton nodded his head to show that he recognized the Leviathan’s presence. He did not further try to capture his attention although he did make sure Levi was looking at him. Only after doing so did he turn his gaze towards the leech.

The first thing Ashton noticed was the cup of blood in her small fragile hands. He was disgusted by the beverage if it could really be called that, but took a small bit of satisfaction when he noticed how easily broken and frail her limbs were.

The second thing that caught his attention was the golden chain that disappeared into her jacket. It made his mind go into a whirlwind, his senses tingling. He had a sneaking suspicion to what the necklace was. But no, it couldn’t be. He had to know. For the second time since the two had encountered the two pairs of eyes met. This time Ashton didn’t glare although he still felt the hatred that came with her pale, shivering, blue eyes. The glowing spheres had too much light in them, too much hope. Did this ignorant being not realize how much danger she would now be in everyday? Obviously not. He felt a sudden urge and longed to crush her blissful ways of life. Little did anyone know, Ashton was quite the sadist. ((OOC:Just kidding.))

That’s an interesting necklace you have there,” As he spoke the girl shifted her jacket in an attempt to cover her piece of jewelry causing it to disappear further from sight. “Why don’t you take it out where we can see it?” He spoke the sentence in a form of a request or suggestion but it was blatantly obvious to the whole group that it was a command.
((OOC: Kinda made Ashton’s post up in the spur of the moment which you can probably tell because he really had no one to interact with but I guess the overall post turned out moderately alright.))
