Jennova's Mansion || Party
āI didnāt really do anything. Just kind of called him a fairyā¦ā Rose seemed to be nervous and hiding something. Levi internally smirked. It was funny really, a vampire, having possibly insulted Ashton and gotten away with it. He didn't understand the first part of her statement, but managed to get the second part. He didn't respond seeing as he had been preoccupied with speaking to Val and Jennora while Rose spoke.
"I must excuse myself now. I apologize." Jennora, the girl the party was centered around, found it necessary to apologize for some strange reason. "I don't see why you have to apologize... Levi mumbled this under his breath in an inquisitive manner. He was simply thinking out loud.
āI-I honestly donāt know. I can barely rememberā¦ā Rose said this in response to Levi's question regarding the vampire that sired her. She seemed, to say the least, startled by his question. It was however, understandable. Not to say he empathized, he simply understood. She seemed to become entrapped in her mind, making Levi's brow raise in a questioning manner before lowering.
āSorry, I vaguely remembered someone namedā¦ Carlos.ā Rose spoke uninterrupted by Levi. He didn't need to speak. Or so he thought. He believed that she would reveal all that he needed to know of her own volition. The name Carlos however, struck a metaphorical chord in his mind.
(OOC: Note, I have directly spoken to Ibb and asked for permission for this next part.)
Time seemingly froze for Levi and he went into his memories. He didn't have to go very deep, only about a few days back. He had recently met a gang of vampires that just so happened to have a newly-turned name Carlos. It was an interesting coincidence, and one that made him frown in recognition. Carlos, the vampire that he had met, had been a reckless killer. Okay, maybe Levi was too, but at least he didn't leave his victims alive. Dead men can't tell tales. That is however, besides the point.
Levi had met Carlos and the 'nest' of vampires after having investigated a strange string of murders and attacks that left the victims either completely drained or slightly drained of blood. Levi had managed to introduce himself and
Levi's sense of time returned after a few seconds had passed and he was out of his memories. "Oh, hi-' Levi was about to reveal what he knew, but decided against it. It wasn't the right time. Besides, he could have been mistaking the vampire he knew for another. 'Carlos' was a common name after all. "Is that all you know about them? Or do you remember where you were turned?" Levi acted as if he hadn't said what he had and asked another question. Levi was however, unintentionally smirking with satisfaction. He had a smile that said 'I know something you don't'. He planned on speaking to the vampire gang Carlos was in, possibly figuring out if they knew anything about the amulet Rose had. He could not however, ask them if they were dead. That was another reason he decided not to elaborate on what he knew. Levi wasn't sure what Rose would do after all.
Then again, it would be fun to watch Rose's reaction to the knowledge. Levi decided that he would or would not share his knowledge depending on a coin toss. Levi pulled out a caegar from his pocket and held it in his hand. "Heads or Tails?" Levi asked Rose this simple question. He didn't take notice how out of place it would seem, seeing as he was enjoying himself quite a bit.
Takeru Daijuuji
"Reyna? Hmm, I'll give that one a thumbs up." Takeru said, smiling. "Always cool to hear a new name, or one that is uncommon, at least. Jessica, or Jennifer would be dull."
"So what is a normal human like you doing in a place like this?" Reyna asked him.
Takeru's face changed from a friendly one to... well, one of exhaustion. He had to recall the day's prior events? Such a pain, honestly. While he could always just sum it up as being attacked by a vampire, then a succubus, then being invited to the bar they had just left, he felt that would not do it justice -- his situation, I mean --- because it felt so much more tiresome than that. He was honestly near the level of exhaustion that would cause him to pass out, had he not eaten and gotten a few drinks beforehand. Those were some very tasty life-savers.
"Eh... well. To be honest, I was more or less introduced to the whole 'monsters' thing just recently. I am not too knowledgeable about all of the races, or their histories, nor their behaviors. But, I do seem to have this knack for being attractive to monsters, as I had gotten attacked twice today; once by a vampire I managed to slay, another by Jennova, the host of the party we're at now." he explained that to her because he was not sure if she had met Jennova before. It was better to be safe and clarify, as there was nothing to lose by doing so. "I was surprised by Jennova, because she kinda caught me right after the aforementioned vampire attempted to make a quick meal of me, and, well.... hmm...." it was a bit awkward to think about being influenced by Jennova's succubi powers. It made his head all fuzzy, and his face threatened to flush red, almost as if he were drunk. Truly, those powers were awe-inspiring, in their own ways. "Well, she did not decide to kill me, and instead assisted me by escorting me to the bar. This was earlier today, by the way, so I'm very new to this whole environment, as well as the existence of other beings, aside from humans."
For whatever reason, that did not satisfy him for an explanation. He thought he needed to elaborate a bit more. "Well, as for why I am at this party....." he sighed, then shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno. Sounded fun, I guess. Although that was until I realized that I was exactly comfortable around other people who could likely kill me without much thought. I guess I lept before I looked in this case. Could have definitely put more thought into it. Ah well." with his story done, he looked Reyna in the eyes, the spoke up, perhaps a bit more cheerful now that he was done speaking about himself.
"Hey, what about you? What's a... shapeshifter like yourself doing here? I'll bet its a better story than my old boring one."

Reyna smiled, in Spanish her name meant 'queen,' but that wasn't anything of significance. "Always cool to hear a new name, or one that is uncommon, at least. Jessica, or Jennifer would be dull." She listened to his story, nodding every so often so he could see that she was still listening. She knew Jennova, the two had met a while ago around the same time that Reyna had met Jennora. It had been an odd first encounter, nothing like Takeru's and she felt bad for the man after hearing what he had gone through. It must have been exhausting getting your life drained by a succubus, then getting invited to a party by the same person who had nearly killed you.
"Hey, what about you? What's a... shapeshifter like yourself doing here? I'll bet its a better story than my old boring one." It wasn't really, her story would probably be even more boring than his, but he had asked and she would answer. "I was in detention at school and by the time I was heading home it was already dark outside and I realized I didn't have any food so I started going to Val's Tavern and I ran into Jennova and Jennora walking back to their house."
She hadn't been invited to the party by Jennova though, Valentine had invited her. "When I got to the Tavern Valentine told me that she would be closing early to head to a party and she invited me to go along so I told my boss I wasn't going to come into work and well... Here I am." Not very interesting, his story had been much better than hers. Although sometimes Reyna's life became too interesting and then she was thankful for having a boring day like today.

Levi froze for a moment, perhaps recalling something. And it seemed had as he began to speak a fragment of a sentence, cutting himself off as he thought better of it. He then began to muse to himself before questioning Rose further. āIs that all you know about them? Or do you remember where you were turned?ā
Roseās answer was of course very eloquent and befitting of a fine lady brought up in the richest of environments. She said, āUm,ā
Of course this response was understandable as Levi had a smug smile which taunted, as well as distracted, her train of thought. It was strange as he seemed almost intent on confusing her, his actions and tone not quite matching. Yes, it was confusing but the question was clear enough and so Rosetta decided to answer it.
āIt was an alleyway, I believe. It wasnāt anything special as far as Iām aware. I suppose I was on my way back home from some sort of event or what not but I have no recollection to what that event might have been.ā
Rosetta thought that was a suitable answer and she expected some sort of enlightening comment or remark from Levi which would clear the vast fog in her brain which befuddled her to no end. Surely, if anyone did, the one before her would have the answers she was searching for. Rose had no connections with him whatsoever but from what she knew so far, he seemed to know quite a bit about the supernatural world. Unintentionally she held her breath in as she waited for whatever information he was about to release.
āHeads or Tails?ā The breath whooshed out of her and for a moment she simply stared in slight shock. This man certainly never failed to surprise her.
āExcuse me?ā Her tone was not an indignant one but instead one filled with pure confusion. This just got stranger and stranger. āErr- Heads I suppose.ā
Jennova watched as her sister nodded at Ashton's response, she seemed to understand completely. "Well, I'll leave you to it. Though from experience, once she has tasted a hybrid, a normal human will not do it." She didn't add the worse part being that stealing soul essence wouldn't be enough....Jennova would have to sleep with someone today in order to be alright.
Jennova watched her sister walk away with a smug smirk on her face, already knowing what she had to do. She carefully leaned on Ashton and sighed. "I need to go all the way with someone.. Time to go pick someone.." She said as she continued to lean on him but looked up and around the ballroom, she spotted Takeru and had a super evil smile on her face before she noticed Ashton knew who she was looking at.
She looked away real fast. "It's probably better if it's anther Unknown.." She said and looked around, not wanting to get intimate with really anyone here, until she turned to Ashton and looked him up and down, biting her lip.
Once again, she turned away from him, so he couldn't see her blush. She sighed, realizing it had to be a hybrid. How would she go about asking Takeru to do this? She groaned as she swallowed her entire glass in one drink and turned around to get more.
Jennora walked back over to Levi and Rose smiling and giggling insanely. "Alright, I'm not one to gossip, but when it comes to my sister I have a big mouth. Want to know something really amusing?" She asked the two, hoping she was not intruding on anything.
She held her glass of wine in her hands, twirling it gently. She was so excited yet thrilled that Jennova had to go through the same thing that Jennora did! Though hopefully her sister wouldn't kill her prey.... Jennora was still amazed at the thought that she knew more about being a succubus then her older sister!!
Takeru Daijuuji
"I was in detention at school and by the time I was heading home it was already dark outside and I realized I didn't have any food so I started going to Val's Tavern and I ran into Jennova and Jennora walking back to their house." Reyna explained.
Takeru smiled. "Well, that sounds a lot less er... 'eventful' than my own meeting, although I am not sure that's such a bad thing." he commented, giving a stressed laugh as he did so. He had not regretted meeting Jennova or Valentine so far, but still, it could have gone much better. Especially since he had a fight for the death just before, and that alone took much more out of him than he would care to admit. Some part of his male pride tried to prevent him from looking or sounding weak in front of the opposite gender. Guess that was just a given though.
"When I got to the Tavern Valentine told me that she would be closing early to head to a party and she invited me to go along so I told my boss I wasn't going to come into work and well... Here I am." she continued.
So she skipped work? I guess everyone can use a break every now and then.
It sounded as though she came to the party more on a whim than anything, which is exactly why Takeru came as well. But then again, how many people decline a party invitation? It'd make you look a bit introverted if anything, although Takeru was sure people could understand why if he himself had turned down the invite. Not that he did. He would call himself 'daring', but it was more of an accidental amnesia of the fact that most (if not all) people were monsters - beings of which he was still not entirely comfortable with nor able to comprehend entirely. That said, he wasn't feeling uncomfortable speaking with her. She did not sound hostile, at least.
"I don't believe I've been to a party for no explicit reason. The party, I mean. Usually I'm at ones for celebrations or birthdays and such. Do you go to these kinds often?" he asked out of simple curiousity.

Takeru answered. "I work at anyplace I can get a job. Still can't seem to find a career path I have active interest in, so I've just been keeping myself busy with whatever. I used to be a cashier, and I've done some manual labor around other places, like lifting boxes and other heavy items.
Now that she got him to thinking, Takeru was unsure what to think about these Unknowns. Did they have some monster-jobs or something? Nah, that's unlikely. They probably just did the same jobs he did, working in disguise as a human, or simply taking what they wanted. At least it was something to have thought about, though.
Jennova's Mansion || Party
"Um." Rose seemed to be confused, or at least Levi assumed she was. He didn't even bother to think that she might have found his smirk off-putting.

He had known fully what he was saying, his cutting himself off was simply a way to have fun.
It was funny, really, to see the breath literally come out of her after he mentioned 'heads or tails'. His smirk did not however, increase in intensity. It simplied stayed the same level of annoying. "Excuse me?" She seemed shocked, something that was very understandable. He most likely would have had the same reaction had he been in her place. "Err- Heads I suppose" She seemed to catch on quickly. Levi did not however, elaborate on what intentions were. "That's a good choice. I just hope you win, for your sake."
Levi threw the Caesar in the air. He never got to see it fall, mostly because of the fact that Jenorra appeared nearby. It was strange to see a girl who seemed to formal and polite giggle like a madman. Then again, it was probably the wine she held in her hand. "Alright, I'm not one to gossip, but when it comes to my sister I have a big mouth. Want to know something really amusing?" She revealed her reason for speaking.
"I'd say no," Levi's smirk died down to a simple smile. ", but that would be a lie." He didn't say anything else on the matter, neither directly saying 'yes' nor directly saying 'no'. The coin fell to the ground and spun, wobbled upright, then fell with the 'heads' side upwards. He looked at it for a second, before picking it up and putting it back from where he got it. His attention turned back to Jennora after he gave a conspiratorial wink towards Rose. He'd tell her what he knew later, seeing as it was the most effective way of
āThat's a good choice. I just hope you win, for your sake." Rosetta simply stared at Levi. The sentence had caused dread to stir in the pit of her stomach. Was she making some sort of life decision or what? It simply seemed that way for his choice of words could be described as nothing but ominous.
Levi through the coin into the air, relatively high, and Rose apprehensively watched it seem to lazily float down as if gravity was slacking on the job. It the floor with a slight clang just as Jennora returned a wine glass in hand. Her cheeks were tinted in a slight pink and she giggled in the way of a child. Rose couldnāt decide if the woman was intoxicated or just giddy.
āAlright, I'm not one to gossip, but when it comes to my sister I have a big mouth. Want to know something really amusing?ā After Levi answered Rose tried to look indifferent, although her interest was piqued. After all she was only human (or she recently had been) and it was in their nature to be curious creatures. It was certainly rare to see one turn their heads up at otherās misfortune or business.
Rose looked pointedly towards the Caesar on the ground but it seemed there was no need as Levi was already making his decent, crouching to pick it up. It had landed on heads which greatly relieved Rosetta and removed the burden of worry.
After pausing he stood and seemingly turned his attention towards Jennora, slipping a small wink in that was directed at Rose. Immediately her face burned and, as a natural habit, she turned away in embarrassment. She wasnāt even sure if her face had given away her blush so it may have looked like anger or something of such to someone who was unaware of her thoughts. However, to her, it felt like her face was burning, though she wasnāt sure why herself.
After calming her heart down, she turned back to Jennora and Levi, interested in the conversation and hoping neither had noticed her small, and odd, heart spasm.
"I need to go all the way with someoneā¦ Time to go pick someoneā¦" Ashton averted his eyes, though other than that, he showed no other signs of recognition to her statement. He portrayed himself as a flirt, and he could be, but casually talking about having sex was slightlyā¦ awkward; probably the best term to describe the feeling.
He looked back down towards Jennova and saw her grinning, quite mischievously at someone across the room. He followed her line of sight and found that she was smirking at the revolting dog who had previously been in their company. So thatās who she was going forā¦ Well, it wasnāt any of Ashtonās business. He wasnāt the one to be sleeping with the man. He didnāt care in the slightest. ((Probablyā¦Maybeā¦*whispers* HE CARES.))
āIt's probably better if it's another Unknownā¦ā Her glance slid towards Takeru again and Ashton realized that, for her to regain her energy, itād have to be a hybrid. She stopped leaning on the blonde in order to get another drink and Ashton followed her.
āJust go sleep with the mongrel, Jennova,ā he told her, nodding towards Takeru. āHeās practically drooling all over you anyway. Itās not like Iām going to kill you for feeding.ā He realized too late that his tone had a hard edge to it. āItās not like I particularly care anyway.ā

They could always use extra hands for other things too, but if he liked lifting heavy things then Reyna knew exactly five places that could use someone with a lot of muscle. Reyna tried to think of something else to say as the awkward silence that followed was well... Awkward. "Do you like it here? In this city I mean?" She blurted the first thing that had come to mind and hoped it didn't sound too weird or wasn't somehow too personal.

I apologize for not posting in a while until a few days ago as I've been going through some, er, tough times recently. I've decided to focus on the real world for now as I'm afraid if I become distracted by other activities I may forget what really matters. I deeply apologize that I am taking a short break from writing to deal with some personal matters. Thank you and I am once again sorry for the inconvenience. Jennova looked at Ashton as he spoke to her, she felt a bit of confusion from him. Since he said one thing but his body language said another. However she ignored this and decided to go on with his suggestion. Maybe Takeru was drooling over her? Then again it could just be the succubi-ness. She smiled as she straightened herself up and walked over to Takeru and Reyna. "Reyna, Jennora wanted to catch up with you." She told Reyna, giving the girl a sweet smile.
Though as soon as Reyna left she turned to Takeru and smiled at him. I have evil plans for you.. She thought as she took a sip of her wine. A few seconds passed before she spoke to him. "Sorry, I kind of stole you, but you just look..." She paused for a second as she reached up and played with his hair, pressing herself against him as she ran her hand down his neck and took ahold of the collar of his shirt. She pulled him down and gave him a long lustful kiss, sending a rush of her seduction his way. "...delicious." She finished.
She bit her lip as she let go of his collar and grabbed his hand pulling him out of the ballroom and up the stairs, setting her drink on a table at the top of the stairs. Once in the hallway she pushed him against the wall, and tugged on his tie as she gave him small kisses on his neck, each filled with more powerful seduction.

Jennora smiled in delight as they both wanted to know the juicy dends on Jennova! "So, Jennova fed off of the hybrid, Takeru, and now she's craving more. Now and for a long time, the only one she can feed off of is Takeru. And only by having sex with him!" She giggled before smiling hugely. "The only way to get out of it is by having sex with an older unknown or a god." She said as she watched her sister go after Takeru. She only looked away after Jennova left the ballroom with Takeru.
She looked next to her, where Reyna had made an appearance. "Oh hello deary. Sorry Jennora stole your friend." Just then Jennora remembered a gift she had for Reyna. "Oh, I got you something in my adventure around the world. It's in the garden, if you'd like to see it." She clapped her hands, careful to not spill her drink.
Reyna
Reyna was patiently waiting for an answer to the question she had blurted when Jennova came over and dismissed Reyna from the awkward situation her approaching Takeru had become. "Reyna, Jennora wanted to catch up with you." Reyna nodded her head, taking that as her cue to exit and turned to leave. "Alright," she said then added quickly, "it was nice speaking to you Takeru."
As she walked up to where Jennora was standing along with the young vampire and Leviathan, Reyna heard the end of the tidbit Jennora had been saying to them. "The only way to get out of it is by having sex with an older unknown or a god." Reyna was not one for gossip really, but she found this interesting little fact to be especially amusing; assuming that Jennora was talking about her older sister of course.
"Oh hello deary. Sorry Jennora stole your friend." Jennora was suddenly addressing her, so Reyna put on her best smile and pretended that she didn't care. "I don't mind, our conversation was taking a turn for the worst anyways." She brushed a strand of purple hair out of her face and shrugged. "Oh, I got you something in my adventure around the world. It's in the garden, if you'd like to see it."
"Really?" Reyna always found it surprising when people thought of her. She thought she had been invisible to most; in fact she was always rather surprised when someone simply acknowledged her presence. "Sure," maybe it was simply Reyna's imagination, but she thought she saw someone watching them in the reflection of Jennora's wine glass. I'm just being paranoid, she thought and added to her brilliant one syllable answer, "I would love to."
Reyna was patiently waiting for an answer to the question she had blurted when Jennova came over and dismissed Reyna from the awkward situation her approaching Takeru had become. "Reyna, Jennora wanted to catch up with you." Reyna nodded her head, taking that as her cue to exit and turned to leave. "Alright," she said then added quickly, "it was nice speaking to you Takeru."

"Well if you ever need a job we're always looking for help at the police station." Reyna offered as they continued speaking.
A job at the police station....
Takeru mused over the thought. That actually would not be too bad since he was a person who never really got into trouble with the law in the first place. He couldn't say he was intimidated by policemen either, since the few he had actually met had been fairly well-mannered. Perhaps he could take her up on the offer if things don't go too well with this job. "You would do that for me? I'd be very thankful." he said, smiling to show his gratitude.
"Do you like it here? In this city I mean?" came a question from Reyna.
That was a fairly complicated question to answer, if Takeru had to be completely honest. Since he had arrived here, there had been some odd disturbances that a normal human would have not been accustomed to. Namely; the Unknown. Ever since he came to this place, he'd felt as though there were much more of them, or that there was a humongous difference in activity between this place and another. After all, he was just attacked by a vampire not too long ago, before then being preyed upon by a certain succubus. At the same time, he at least learned that some of these beings were not so hostile or evil, and knowing that was a relief to the young man. "Well---"
Before Takeru was about to answer, the aforementioned succubus appeared on the scene with a small message to Reyna, which promptly ended with her leaving and their conversation ending. But maybe that was for the best, because she seemed a bit awkward after asking him about his opinion on the city. Hopefully they could speak later. "I enjoyed it as well." Takeru replied as Reyna departed to go meet with Jennora. Well, now it was just the two of them. Jennova and Takeru. What could go wrong?
"Sorry, I kind of stole you, but you just look..." Jennova began with a smile on her face that, although he was fairly dense when it came to such things, even Takeru could pick up as seductive. And seeing this, his heart may or may not have started beating a bit more rapid than it was before.
What could go wrong?! Did I forget what happened earlier?! If I'm not careful.... well, who knows what could happen? I could lose something more dire than my first kiss, like my first............Yeah, I'll definitely, maybe be on the defensive with that talk!
Suddenly, just as
"...delicious."
The kiss alone was enough to destroy what sanity he might have had, but it did not end there. At some point, he found himself walking up the steps of the house to the second floor, where she got a bit more violent, shoving him against a wall and pecking him across his neck as she overpowered his will and reason more and more, until finally he started returning fire with kisses on her nape, his hand itching to go where no hand of his had gone before.
Jennova's Mansion || Party
Levi, did out of the corner of his eye, notice a movement of Rose's face. It caused his attention to slowly and subtly move towards her persona, catching a glimpse of what he assumed to be a blush, then turning equally slowly back to Jennora. He took note of her being, from what he assumed, flustered and put that under the list of weapons he would use if needed against her. He did, at the moment, more or less trust her, but that trust wasn't guaranteed to stay solid.
"So, Jennova fed off of the hybrid, Takeru, and now she's craving more. Now and for a long time, the only one she can feed off of is Takeru. And only by having sex with him!" Jennora seemed perfectly fine with gossiping, then again, it may have just been the wine. Either way, he decided that he should
"If only there was such a person dying to help her with her dilemma." Levi wasn't particularly interested in matters related to lust. It just didn't interest him. Sure, he would most likely help her if she asked him, but he wouldn't go begging to help her. It just seemed tedious. He did notice that Reyna, the girl that had amusingly told him that she would let him off the hook, came over and politely waved towards her. He didn't particularly have anything to say to her, and he had something else on his mind. Something that was going to entertain him.
"Ah right," The previous 'gossip' had already left the center of his attention. It was sooo surprising and amazing that a succubus needed to feed off of somebody. He turned to Rose, a smile on his face, "Where were we?" He was of course, referring to the coin toss and his decision to reveal the information. He did not however, give her time to respond. "Something regarding the crimes of Carlos and the gang, if I remember correctly." Levi said this casually, intending to reveal that he knew or at least thought he knew who she had been referring to. It was fun, really, to play games with information.
Either way, he had probably sealed their fates. If they weren't killed by Rose, they would most likely come to him after learning that he had revealed who they were. He didn't really, however, care about them. He found Rose to be much more important, mostly due to the fact that she had seemingly been able to piss of Ashton and live, while being a vampire. "I've got to be honest though, Carlos is very much an idiot." He said this mostly to himself, knowing fully and hoping that she'd had heard him. It would be fun to see what approach she took to questioning him. Would she aggressively try to get an answer out of him? Or would she timidly ask? It was a mystery, and one that he very much planned on enjoying. Hell, he couldn't contain the smirk that was forming on his lips.
