"Being perfect comes with a price. I'm an exception."
Personality:
“Sugar, and spice, and everything attractive. My mad scientist forgot to add more ‘nice’ powder.”
Ashton is sly and cunning. When he wants something he just flips on his Fey voice, acts a little charming, and suddenly he has it in his grasp. Similarly to Rosetta he is vain, but unlike her it is not a joke to him. Having grown up with fellow Fey, and having the same blood as them, has made him highly conceited and self-centered. Just like normal Fey, he thinks humans are food sources for the monsters, and the monsters are play things for the Fey. He especially hates Vampires and calls them “Mosquitos” and “Bloodsuckers.” Ashton is also a sarcastic type of person. Many people might say he “over uses it” and can think of him as annoying. You will either look up to him and think of him of the older brother type (yes, he does have a loving, caring side to him) or despise him and maybe gradually warm up. He CAN be funny, if only to himself, and you might find yourself laughing along with him. Ashton loves to roll his eyes and smirk. But, contrary to popular belief, he DOES have a serious side to him. Most of that side, however, is spent on hate. Mainly for vampires which is explained in his history. Usually Fey will hiss on the s sound, but Ashton has learned to control that. Occasionally it will slip out when he is angry or exited.
(Ashton when he was young.)
History:
Ashton was born and raised as a Fey in a high upper class. Almost all Fey live in the Other World where there are few other monsters. Ashton had a tight bond with his mother (his father is already dead) so when a group of vampires “accidentally” killed his mother by draining her, he was outraged, but couldn’t do anything since he was only twelve. The ruler Fey sent men out to kill the vampires since Ashton’s family was of high upper class. Unfortunately many of the vampires escaped through warp holes to Earth and only a handful remained, hiding out in discrete and unknown areas. Centuries passed (Fey age slowly) and soon he became a hunter for lowly monster scum that committed crimes in the Other World. Also, being the only one left to represent his family, he was entrusted with a special amulet in the shape of a locket, as all high class families were. One day, when out hunting, he encountered a vampire. Of course he immediately attacked while the blood sucker scurried to and fro, attempting to find a weapon. Finally the vamp picked up a rusty wooden sword. The sword turned out to be a key to a warp hole. The vamp ran towards the portal, Ashton hot on his feet. At the last minute the blood sucker jumped and in the struggle the locket was torn from around Ashton’s neck and into the portal. Then the door to Earth closed. Upon returning to the main city, Ashton immediately ran to tell the Fey ruler. He expected the Fey to be outraged. He expected punishment. He expected harsh words and shame. But he was not prepared to be exiled from the Other World. Now he wanders Earth, his hate for the dirty nasty mosquitos stronger than ever. He never stays in once place for long, always traveling. He is ashamed so he never tells anyone about his exile. “I’m simply on a vacation.” he says.
