"I'll have to come up with a generalized vocalized test for the stuff that I wouldn't know what to physically look for. I feel that them knowing what they can and cannot get away with except for the most stringent of cases is more important than them showing it to me. A basic proof of understanding should be sufficient." He waved his hand off at the question of sugar cubes. Isis sensing the stress of 'her human' wandered over crawling up into Jacobs lap allowing her self to shrink down into a more manageable lap size of cheetah. {Isis} "Then there's the matter of our most recent guest snooping around prying at our aura's. rude!" Her hair fluffed up on end giving her the appearance of a ball of orange fluff with tiny black spots in Jacobs lap. "What do you mean?" Isis pouted a little. {Isis} "I forget you mortals can't feel when people can't feel someone poking at you're aura... But the wizard was keenly curious about yours in particular. He got a peek at mine and then backed off immediately " Jacob frowned more at the thought. "I'll keep an eye on him. As for cruel and unusual punishment. The mandate that was given to me was treat it like a boot camp. They'll learn that if they work together I'll be fair... Or they'll work together because they all hate me. Either way I win because they'll survive." Jacob smiled one more time and gently pet Isis on the head. "As for the wizard I doubt he has any mal intent. His appointment by the council was legit. I triple verified it. We're new to this organization Isis, they probably view us as akin to civilian contractors. As such it wouldn't surprise me if his presence has a duel purpose of vetting us."

Aceline raised an eyebrow at the mortal comment, but said nothing as she sipped at her own tea. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting our esteemed guest yet." She said cooly to Isis. There was little that she didn't know about there at the facilities, having quickly wedged herself into the gossip circles upon arrival. It was easier to do her job, but also provided a source of entertainment. "As for our incoming officers, I personally believe that actions can speak louder than words. But, if you want to have them give an oral response to an exam, be my guest. It's perfectly legal." Aceline added, meaning legal not by the laws, but allowed by the Council to her knowledge.

"I'm sure between the two of us we can cobble together something like the oral board from hell." She said with a sweet smile. The Council had asked her to ensure that the curriculum and other paperwork aspects of the facility ran as they had intended. For now she was just grateful someone was keeping Isis busy, instead of the cat going fishing in places she shouldn't.

Jacob's face grew a bemused grin at the mention of 'mortal.' "Uh Isis, we're not... mortals remember?" He commented casually paying special attention to the little 'w' between her ear where the fur was always tufted slightly. Isis yawned and stretched slightly on Jacob's lap before replying, "Sorry love I keep forgetting; I meant mortals, as in the generic term regarding humans. Even gifted ones."

Jacob was about to comment on their guest but his cell phone rang. Picking up he answered in a professional tone. "Historic Fort Wayne, Head Interpreter, Jacob Summers speaking how may I help you?" A very specific catch phrase was uttered on the other end and he offered the appropriate response phrase to verify the line was secure. The person on the other end asked him if he was familiar with the Gorvin family massacre. "Yeah from what I understand the father and husband was the key suspect." Then something was said which made his expression sour. "Demon's.... verified? I see... and he's in the wind? Oh crap that makes it very complicated. I'll advise my people and form a team to assemble my team."

Hanging up the phone he glanced to Aceline with an expression that was anticipatory at best. "Our week just got complicated, a investigative reporter by the name of Michael Gorvin, husband and father of two is the lead suspect in the murder of his family. But the thing is police can't find enough evidence to make it stick." He explained with a tired sigh. "It's just as well that they don't, because he's innocent. The problem for us is demons did it... and he saw it... and now he's in the wind, with a particular set of skills and one mission in life; To prove that demons exist. We need to assemble a team who can bring this guy in gently. We need to talk to him, make him understand why it's dangerous to try to expose demons."

Aceline frowned as Jacob finished talking. "Well neither one of us is qualified for that level of stupid, but I think I can pull two names off our roster of visiting officers to help." She said thoughtfully as she reached over to grab a tablet off the desk. Swiping in and scrolling through the information on the screen, she then turned it around to show Jacob. There were no photos only highlighted text. It seemed that all the Council deigned necessary to send was just a list of names, no photos, no badge ID's to put into the system.

"When you see these two, let me know and I'll pull them into the office here." Aceline explained as she pointed to three names on the list, a man and two women. "I think we can buy some time in the meanwhile, I mean to find this guy or get him moving towards us takes bait right?" She asked, a thought forming in her mind. Bait would get the man's attention, even if it wasn't very good bait. "We'll let a little leak out to the press about say... less than savory hauntings here. He'll come running."

"It's a new facility, things have bugs and I suspect their having to access Council's own servers to verify information." Catherine offered sensing the other's boredom. What little they would be able to glean was another question, she knew most of Bannon's records were easily accessible given the right permissions, as were some of Molly's; however most of her own were Council access only which may have been giving them issue. Setting her coffee and magazine aside, she stood up and went to talk to the secretary. "Could you give me the reason that it takes an hour to check in two officers and a warden?" She asked politely enough, but like the others she was tired of sitting there in the office. Awake at 5, at the airport by 5:30 and on the flight by 6, only to arrive to cold and wet Detroit at 9 had not been anyone's idea of a good morning.

"I'm sorry Warden... Dumitrescu was it? It's just that our servers don't seem to be cooperating with your records or really anyone else's for that matter." The secretary answered sheepishly. He had been trying to keep things running smoothly while his boss was out, but it appeared that murphy's law had decided against that. "I can take verbal verification with a signature from each of you though." The young man offered hoping that would buy him time to figure out what had gone wrong with their system. It had been working the other day just fine, but now it seemed to be rejecting any sort of information.

Molly wrinkled her nose and the nodded. It would mean that they could get through things that much faster. She could wait one hour, but two? "That sounds better than waiting around. I'm pretty sure we'd know if one of us was not who we said, after all." Or at least, she could be certain with Catherine and herself, and reasonably certain that no one else was quite as ridiculous as Kurt could be

The sergeant still wasn't certain whatbrecert would consist of. She was, it seemed, a good deal more overdue than she should be, but for extenuating circumstances. Then again, that just meant that between her own minir criminal record and things blocked due to council business, maybe there would be more trouble with her file than there should be.

Though if that was the logic, this was all Catherine's fault. The woman stretched and reminded herself that she had to tone down any impatience. She had been having control issues lately, ever since the ritual. Impulse control and her ability control had been shot, along with her control over her instincts. It made for a more animalistic Molly. For fucks sake, she had been acting more like a were than a human lately. But she had managed to behave for the flight. Even if she was now itching for action of some kind. Jeez, maybe Karato's death had effected her in weirder ways than just the deep mourning she had only managed to shake enough to be functional and to mask the sorrow.

Catherine just sighed in frustration, nothing ever worked the way it should, and technology like this was one of the points of contention between her and Alexander. On one hand it was nice, but on the other it never worked right and required too much baby sitting; paper you didn't have to babysit and was easier to destroy than electronic records. "Fine, what do you need for a verification?" She asked patiently enough.

"Badge number, full name, date of birth, SSI or other indentifier." The young man said brightly. The question about date of birth caused Catherine to raise her eyebrow, that wasn't exactly something that was shared outside of the Council or privacy with Tatiana. "I see, and you realize that some of these answers won't exactly be mundane?" She replied cooly. "Of course Warden, it's only for our security's sake that we ask this." He said guessing that she like many other unseen was a little bit touchy about one or the other of the questions presented.

"I'll go first then. 02512. Molly Rene Bronson. May 11, 1972. 555-62-5432." She rattled off the numbers ignoring any reaction to her year of birth. They could suck it. She was 21. The math didn't matter. Molly was not about to acknowledge the differences between the actual math and her appearance. If this as what it took to get out of this waiting area though, she'd put up with admitting her real birth year. "Now, where do I sign?"

Why couldn't this one be more like the wondrous Ishae. She would have mentioned this so much sooner. There was only so long Molly could be so still before she was began to mope lately. Maybe she could manage to get out of here soon enough. Either way , the sooner they were verified, the sooner they could get recert done with and she could go back to hassling the twins in the name of training. They were in good hands with Xiaolian of course, but Molly almost missed them.

Jacob finally finished organizing the mission dockets into the manila folders, tucking them under his arm he walked out of his office in the top floor, walked down the stair cases that followed the walls, leaving broad wide open rooms on each floor, and while you couldn't see from the ground all the way to the top floor, you could certainly hear the some what unnerving sound of the hard leather souls with tiny horse shoe shaped heal plates clicking their way down the flights of stairs from all floors. Finally he reached the room Molly, Catherine, and Kurt were all waiting in. "That will be enough sergeant." His hand raised to stop them from dispelling any further intel on their verification. "You'll have to excuse Barrington. He's new. My apologies for you're delay I left orders to send you strait up to my office for verification by me We all need to talk." His likeness to a younger Alexander was uncanny. He was dressed in a Jr. Lt. cavalry officers uniform circa 1860. He turned and walked towards the stairs he'd just come down walking in a way that dictated that he expected them to follow him.

"New?" Catherine questioned giving the young man behind the counter a glare. That would explain the inability to work their system, despite its fair ease of use for most officers. "You have an awful lot to learn." She added as she gathered her things up and followed Jacob, all the while trying not to dwell on how much he looked like Lex.

When the two had finally married, they had agreed that there would be some secrets kept a from the other; it was just the nature of their jobs no matter how unpleasant. But, for there to be what seemed like a twin existing somewhere out there, made her more than a little nervous. "Your office staff has a great deal still to be desired about it's protocols Mr...?"

Molly hid a snicker. It looked like Catherine's patience was shot too. Well at least it wasn't just her. Still, it took only a moment to recognize the man she was now following. What the hell. It was a younger Lex. She watched him closely, not noticing how her mind began play a cruel trick on her.

Very, very quietly Molly chalked this reaction up to weird ass demon instincts. Why on Earth was her body telling her to jump him. "Eh, I didnt divulge much. I'm going to have to get a new SSI soon anyway. I don't exactly pass for my age." It was said quietly, a little ashamed. Molly wasn't happy with the no aging thing, but there were services in the Unseen world for this situation and it would be fine. Besides, she was sure she's start aging normally again any day now. It was just her time in the far realms causing this. Once her body realized it was back in normal time again, it'd age again. That it had been her golem that was there didn't occur to her. Or rather, she was being purposefully obtuse on the matter. As far as Molly was concerned, she ages normally and had just stopped for a bit in the car realms.

For now, she just wanted to know why her instincts had decided to act up in incredibly weird ways. After all, this guy looked like Lex. She was sure as hell not attracted to him. Why would she be to his younger double.

"I'm afraid we're all new here. The facility wasn't open up too long ago and this is basically what we'll call the 'fresh fish division' for a while. I'm Jacob Summers. the new resident chief executive here... and resident expert in dead languages. Particularly useful given the native American writings and artifacts around here." He smiled and lead them all the way up to the floor just below the top one. It was split into two offices one for Aceline and one for himself. Aceline had asked him if he could hold down the fort for a couple days so she could go out and familiarize her self with the area. He didn't see any issue with it. Isis was curled up on the fainting couch next to the fireplace placidly purring her fool head off. "Every one this is Isis, Isis this is every one." THe cheetahess glanced up, big eyes squinting slightly blinking twice before speaking in her slightly English sounding accent. {Isis} "Ello there lovelies...." Catching the flared nostrals and wide eyes from Jacob Isis squeaked timidly before 'correcting' her self. {Isis} "'erm.. I mean... meow....."

"That's... a very... unusual surname. You wouldn't be related to anyone named Alexander by any chance would you?" Catherine managed after a moment. She was now regretting her remark to Molly and Kurt that they wouldn't be dealing with someone named Summers. However during that moment of silence before replying to Jacob, she had stood there entertaining calling Alexander and asking him what the hell was going on. They seemed entirely too much the same, from their penchant for historical dress to affinity for cat like beings. But she managed to pull her mind back to the present, instead of allowing herself to wander lost among thoughts; that could wait till later.

"As for Schrödinger's cat here," Catherine added pointing to Isis with mild amusement, "I've seen stranger things than a talking fur ball." She finished, hardly phased by a the cheetah with an English accent. Perhaps the way she had talked about Isis was less the polite, but it had been a long day already, and she'd grown used to being able to say what she thought as a Warden and Councilor's daughter. It didn't always get the best reaction, however most people weren't dumb enough to try pressing their luck with her.

"Bit late for the meow." The sergeant informed the cat, more than a little amused. Also, who knew Lex had a clone. "Also, Warden. I could of sworn that you just told me it wasn't Summers doing the recert. Because it seems to me that his last name is, in fact, Summers." She was going to get hell from Catherine for these comments. It was going to be worth it. Molly was tired of leave and tiptoeing and moping anyway. Might as well come out fists up and ready to fight.

The officer shifted slightly away from her boss. Maybe it was best to at least not stand so close. Instead, she moved so she was closer to the cat. "Don't suppose you'd mind if I scratched behind your ears? I admit, I've never met stalking cat and am not sure of the etiquette." It never hurt to ask at least. She smiled, uncertain if the attention would be welcome, but fairly certain that Catherine would sort everything out with Jacob Summers. She certainly had enough experience with Alexander Summers at least.

Maybe the person actually in charge would let her cross dress. It wasn't like she had a chest to speak of. She could do it. Hell, she was tall enough that she may have to.

"Shut up Bronson." Catherine muttered under her breath, shooting the other a death glare as they quickly advanced away from her.

"And you'll have me know what fur ball?" She asked looking at Isis with indifference, wondering exactly what the cat would have to say. It couldn't be anything she hadn't heard before, especially after hanging around Alexander for so long; excuses at times were beyond ridiculous when it came to reasons why. "And I'll have to be in agreement with Mr. Summers here, you cannot keep my Sergeant. No matter how much I think that might be a good idea." She added to the cat, fairly confident behind her own glamours and shields.

"But as for the question my colleague Rahal, well I suppose I'll end up being the one to explain that later." Catherine said with a sigh addressing Jacob once more. She suspected that Alexander had been poking his nose into things again, possibly trying to gather intel in the worst possible way; and more than likely bribing the mage with some sort of copious amounts of sugar and booze or both. "Though on the subject of dress, I think Bronson here will be more than grateful not to have to wear a gown and stays. The Fae court seems to require enough of them as it is." She continued, returning Molly's verbal jab with one of her own.

However, Catherine could tell that Jacob was relatively new to the Unseen on this level, but somehow had been existing, flying under the radar for some time. It would be interesting to talk to him, if she could get a moment of private conversation with him; granted that would prove difficult though considering the rigours of the recert and the rest of the training. Thinking for a moment, Catherine listened to Jacob continue to explain everything, "Do you have any students that are giving you problems Mr. Summers?" She finally asked after a moment.

"I'll sneak over and visit." Molly promised and then grinned, taking a seat to scratch behind Isis' ear. She smiled and pet the cheetah gently, smiling. "Yes, Warden. I'll behave. And I'm more than happy to not have to wear any sort of stay, corset, skirts or anything else at all." In innumerable ways. Molly didn't wear skirts at work. She didn't dare. Out of work, sure, but only if she thought no one from work would see her.

"Besides, the warden can't just leave me here. She might have to be the one to deal with the twins reaction to being separated then. Imagine, she'd have to deal with the mopey twin. I'm pretty sure there would be death." Likely of the twin. Catherine would have been forgiven too. Mopey was a pain in the ass when split from Happy, but Molly rather preferred her twin to having to deal with the too chipper Happy. The sergeant pet the cheetah and whispered to her, fully aware that Catherine could hear her. "So mean. First day back from leave and she makes me take a plane to Detroit for recertification."

Spending all that time in the non-magic world had its benefits. A simple flash of a few ID cards, and Kurt was in, following Molly and the Warden. "You'd think that if they're going to adopt modern tech, they'd hire people that know how to use it. Fucking recession," the man sighed as he rolled his eyes. "Apparently now that I'm not a contractor anymore, I need to learn how to do more stuff. Not that I'm against it, I like learning new things, but I'm starting to think that I'll do my fair share of cussing out my teachers while I'm here."

He looked around for the two he arrived with. "Molly? Catherine? Come on, don't tell me we got separated. They're the only people I can talk to here. At least I know that it's not Thor's fault if a storm rolls in out of nowhere around here." He grunted and hauled a heavy gym bag after him, getting his first of what was sure to be many workouts.

Catherine frowned darkly as she skimmed through the file that had been handed to her, she really detested demons; especially after the whole business with Molly and Karato. It only seemed ironic that the newest certifications for her role as Warden for the next few years would include the things. "Really?" She said with an exasperated sigh. "The circumstances of the case are.. unusual enough. But why is the man claiming it was demons?" Catherine asked before tucking the folder under her arm. Demons were not a thing MCU took lightly, but at the same time they had so few cases that they really had no protocol for dealing with cases that involved them.

'Bastards want someone else to do the dirty work again...' She thought with annoyance. It seemed that while the Council was good at being obstructionist and obtuse, they were also good at springing surprise cases on their officers. "Mr. Gorvin can be found, but the methods are less than... legal you might say. In the meantime might I suggest that Bronson, Bannon, and myself slip into the academy as teachers and students. We'll be able to help you, and it'll allow us to look for Gorvin in the meantime." Catherine commented after a moment or two of thought.

"As for who does what, I believe that Bronson would make an excellent "young man" to slip in with the students, Bannon a resident expert, and I can at least step in as a substitute instructor wherever you need one."

MCU had so few cases largely because demons usually meant specialists, which meant contacting one of the families that dealt with those, if they hadn't already 'taken care of' the problem themselves. Molly's family was one such family and she checked her mental map of territories and who covered what as she looked through the folder given, reading on the details.

"My since of time gets messed up." She confessed to Isis. "But I have a special date and time watch set to Dallas time that I keep on me when out." Otherwise it may accidentally be decades before Molly popped up again. The watch had been fun to try and keep set to Dallas' time and not the time of the local area, wherever that was. "And Kurt, keep up. You're here for certification." Poor sod. "Job first though." Which meant he got to be a subject matter expert before he got to do certification. That would be interesting.

She closed the file and nodded. "I'd agree. Looks like demons. We're in my Uncle Gil's area. I can talk to him about any demon hot spots we may find it at. Around, of course, crossdressing as a young man while looking for Gorvin." Molly was a Bronson. Her own possession not withstanding, she was a demon hunting expert. She continued petting Isis, a smile on her face and she did so. Maybe she should get a cat instead of a dog? Maybe not, given the duel purposes of the dog.

"our orders are strictly speaking to bring in Gorvin. Council told me that the local branch of MCU based out of Port Huron to the north is working with the local bounty hunters and the like to deal with the Demons. As for the help around here, I'd appreciate any that can be afforded. Not sure why we'd need to embed a seasoned agent like Sergeant Bronson with the cadets but if you think it would be necessary then I can't say as I am in a position to argue." In truth as the over all commander of the facility he was actually in a considerable position to argue. But he was also a good host and that meant trusting your visiting experts knew what they were talking about. Still he couldn't help but suspect that the warden was trying to give Bronson a hard time.

Isis from Molly's gentle attentions had fallen to sleep, murmuring something about a 'delicious looking koi pond in her slumber as her back side was busily at work warming Molly's leg.
