Introduction
Camelot, the most powerful Kingdom in all of Britain, rests atop a mountain safe and prosperous. A decade has passed since the mourning of King Arthur's death, and Merlin, Arthur's closest friend and trusted adviser, has vanished. The Kingdom now without its two most beloved figures, the Knights of Camelot fear turmoil shall soon arrive. Their only hope lies in their newest ruler, Arthur's nephew Gawain. Although courteous and understanding of his duties, Gawain is a brash young man who fears the worst has yet to come. Most of his days are spent planning multiple strategies for a number of threats. His Knights fear their new King may drive himself mad before he fully comprehends his position. Gawain's most trusted knight, Lancelot, an old friend of Arthur's, believes he has found a solution for his young King's worries. Tales have emerged of a sorcerer taught by Merlin himself. A man who knows magick like no other. He lives and breathes sorcery, devoting his entire life to its study and opposing anyone who would think to misuse it.
Camelot is a Kingdom waiting to crumble at the hands of those full of greed and want. Murderers, thieves, assassins, whores, and all the like run about free to do as they please. Due to Gawain's unstable ruling, he has let Camelot slowly shift into a hell whole. The people fear for their lives, wanting only to live safely within the walls. Outside the Kingdom, in the nearby villages, bandits and dark creatures kill peasants and farmers. Dragons roam wild, burning entire fields in a matter of minutes. The evil creatures of the forest, once afraid of Arthur and his majestic sword Excalibur, now attack the weak and feed off the population. Lancelot knows his sole duty is to protect his King and his Kingdom, but he fears time is running out. His only choice was to seek out the man taught by the great wizard himself.
Merlin's student, a young man named Darius, was indeed a powerful sorcerer. But he held hatred for Camelot and King Arthur. Darius was falsely accused of practicing the dark arts of magick and was banished from the Kingdom. His reputation was ruined, and rumors spread quickly of evil creatures he had concocted. Taken away from his teacher and friends, Darius made a vow to never aid Camelot again. However, his passion for the people would not be silenced. Instead of rejecting Camelot, he merely rejected the King. Darius still fought for the one place he ever called home, and stood his ground against those who tried to challenge Camelot in their time of despair. For several years, he had gained a new reputation as a wandering warlock who fought off bandits and witches. He was a savior of the people, loved by the peasants and hated by nobility.
Once found by Lancelot, it took quite a bit of persuading before Darius agreed to return to Camelot. Glad to be rid of Arthur, Darius thought his nephew would be a much more suitable King. He jumped on the idea of aiding the lad in rescuing Camelot from itself. Granted, it would not be an easy task; the Kingdom was falling apart before their eyes. But Darius would try his best to talk some sense into Gawain. Secretly, the sorcerer's heart ached at the stories Lancelot told of the Kingdom. All the chaos that ensued made Darius sick. He wanted to help restore Camelot now more than ever, despite his hatred for Arthur and what he did. Now, after several days of travel, Lancelot and Darius return to Camelot as the yearly festival begins. But would the festivities bring about war or peace? Only time will tell..

Re: The Uprising of Camelot
If we can get one or two more characters we can start. Others can still be added after, and I'll take characters until I think we have a decent sized group.
