Personality:She is a Latina fircracker and knows that she is. She is really, really loud around family and friends. With that God gave her a voice for a reason and she plans to use it. Saying she is very opinionated and knows how things should be done, the tradional way. She is a tradional kind of girl and likes things done the older way because if it lasted this long that means it must work, right? At least that's what her parents said all her life. They also taught her that of you don't have family then you don't have anything. She was born as a family oriented girl and wouldn't change it if she could.

But, down to the good stuff when it comes to guys,she acts like she's not interested what so ever. Mainly becuase most of the time she isn't interested in them or in having a boyfriend. Oh no,if a guy wants her they need to be on top of their game and be willing to work for her no matter how long it'll take because she hates quitters. But,once they do catch her interest like her ex,then her wall starts to fall alittle and instead of being sarcastic and a bit stuck up ,she goes to flirty and fun...in her own way anyway, then after that it's just plain sweet and flirty because she is a flirt but only with certain guys mainly the ones who think they can get any girl they want just by their charms and good looks which only leaves a few she knows in her life because she is very particular with everything,but she's far from self-centered,she's just a perfectionist and loves it. But after you get away from her outside shell,you'd be able to find out she's a sweet, caring and passonate person who deep down is a hopeless romantic,she's just too afraid to get hurt to try,seeing that she's already been hurt in her life.

Home Life: Catalina was born in Mexico City, Mexico to a young but married couple that wanted a good life for their only child. Her mother and her were able to get what they needed to stay in the country but, her father wasn't as lucky. He wanted to work doing whatever he could to provide for his family no matter the cost. By the age of 5, their "perfect" angel went deaf. And, they had no idea what to do or how to deal with it. So, they called her mother's parents who were legally born in America if they could take her to the doctor. They of course said yes and after months, they got her a copular implant. They never had another child because they thought one was enough and didn't want to take the attention and lovew away from their love, their lives. And, it worked until Catalina was around 12 years old and her father hadn't returned home yet. Until her mother, Maria got a call that made her start crying. Her father had gotten arrested because a neighbor had thoughts seeing that her father couldn't speak a speck of English to save his life. When her father had to return to their home town of Mexico City, they had a chance to talk to him. Her mother promised that her heart only would be his until he returned to her side and to their daughter. And, since this day. She had kept that promise. And, now it's only a matter of time. Seeing that her father, Johnathan is almost done getting his green card.

School LifeCatalina was never the best in school. She was until her father was taken away from her. And, then she didn't want to learn anything from the Americans that took her papa away from her. Yet, her mother never let her fail saying "I don't want you to end up like me and your papi." And, she didn't. She maintains a B+ average in most of her classes but, refuses to take Spanish, saying it is too easy for her. Which it is. That is her frist language of course. So, she takes French and that is her best class other than Journalism. Her worst class being History because she hates her teacher who always asked her about "her people". Whatever that means. She went to regular school after getting her implant so she could fit in with the rest of the world.

Other :She had always had always learned how to sing, dancing, and play guitar and piano from her father who thought she could be the next "Selena". And, her short coming did not stop her, seeing she got her implant while she was still young.

She can read lips without her implant just as long as people do not speak too fast.
