Ben watched as the vampires left one by one, taking their humans with them. He looked down at Hikari, at least the bleeding had stopped, he figured. The whole situation wasn't perfect, but it was a sight better than it could have been. Ben looked down at his hands, pulling his gloves a little tighter, "Sorry about that. I don't actually see you as my property," He pulled Hikari's chair out, "But you are my responsibility while you're here. I'm not sure what it is you've done, nor, if I'm honest, do I really care, but it does mean that we are stuck with one another," Ben smiled, " Might as well make the best of it?" He offered his hand for Hikari to take. He really didn't want to get into the conversation this was heading for.

He lead Hikari to his chambers. It wasn't as grand as Julius's room, nor was it as welcoming as his workshop, or at least he thought so. So many of the items in the room were completely useless to him. He rarely slept so there was little need for the bed. He had always thought he kept it out of some misplaced nostalgia for his human life where he needed sleep every night, but Ben was not one for introspection so the bed remained for some odd reason. "Please, make yourself at home," He said, not really knowing what else to say. He needed to feed, it had been too long since his last feed. But he had always felt awkward asking people if he could drink their blood. Few people reacted well to being asked if he could bite their neck open and drink their blood. It wasn't always the neck, but the neck was an easy place to get blood from. Ben rocked on his heels, "You're, uh, you're probably aware of the sustenance I require in order to survive," He looked up at Hikari, "It is not absolutely vital I feed right at this moment, but I will need to soon. If you don't feel ready to let me feed from you, just say and I can wait. But I will need to eventually, but I won't force you right now if you don't want to."

Hikari Akane

ImageHikari dropped the facade of mutual understanding once the others had left, looking up at him indifferently until he began to explain himself. She bit her bottom lip, before standing. She took his hand, skeptically of course, "I wouldn't have told you even if you did." she retorted in a hushed frigid tone. She wasn't as disrespectful as before, apparently having learned her lesson. Though still vigilant in disposition. In the back of her mind, Hikari knew what was coming next. Her throat tightened from the realization. Though she kept a strong face despite herself, "I'm not frail minded like most girls. You're not required to dote upon me like this." She reassured him, then she looked away. The gentleman act was unnerving, growing up around so many brothers, she wasn't accustomed to such treatment. Punching, yelling, cussing.. Those were the behaviors she was familiar with.

Hikari felt her stomach tighten as they'd reach their destination; Ben's bedchambers. She let out the quietest calming breath she could manage before stepping inside. She looked around nervously, unsure of what making herself at home meant. For Hikari, it pretty much meant standing awkwardly in the center of the room. She felt stiff as a board in her own opinion. It was her first time in a man's room alone with him, for any reason. Also the fact that he was a complete stranger didn't aid her in 'feeling at home'. The bitter truth was she didn't have a home to return to. The immaculate girl folding her arms over her chest, this time a gesture of self-comfort. Will he just attack me..? Will it hurt..? Of course it would.. She remembered her father's...her brother's screams. The memory brought a sense of terror coursing through her entire body. She would have already been shaking if she didn't have so much pride. Look on the b-bright side.. h-he can't kill you.. but that means you're stuck here for the rest of your life.. that could be worse than a quick death.. Her optimism was failing her at the moment. For once she didn't see a silver lining.

She was torn from her cogitation as Benjamin commenced his next explanation. For a vampire, he seemed to make everything so.. punctilious. Why was he even putting her interest in mind? Does my compliance effect my taste somehow? She shivered at her thoughts, repulsed with herself for even thinking of using taste and herself in the same sentence. Her blue eyes finally shifted to Ben, nodding slowly, "I've witnessed it." she replied simply. She accidentally scoffed, mentally scolding herself. Once she had herself under control, she finally replied, "I'll never be ready." She replied honestly, "I'll never be okay with this, but what other options do I have?" She asked hypothetically. Then she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath again, refusing to let her anger best her twice in one day, "If it has to be done, can we simply just get on with it? Extending the inevitable isn't going to comfort me." She explained, her voice took a sudden change as she continued however. It grew, softer, far less as bold as before, "Does... it have to be from somewhere weird..? Does the wrist work..?" She asked, turning her gaze away with a dark blush painted across her features. She was waiting for him to taunt her for her righteousness. She was used to it. Who'd of guessed that a girl who broke all the rules of being "lady-like" to be a follower of God? Virtuous? Although she detested dresses and sewing, that she was a devout Christian?

ImageRoderick's eyes flashed to Ava as she made her way inside his quarters, then back to Cait as he received her reaction. His own became dumbfounded however as she countered his preformance. He smirked to himself, "You wound me, Madame." He cooed, before taking the hint. Without a second attempt, Roderick nimbly shifted himself into his quarters, closing and locking the door behind him, "If you attempt to slide out the window.. you'll stumble, fall, crack your head open, and die almost instantly." Then his eyes glittered a bit, he drew closer, brushing her hair from her right shoulder onto her left casually as he continued to speak, "Second scenario; You attempt to fight me. If that were to happen, I snap your pretty little neck because I've nothing to lose. I'm not afraid of the Vampire laws deary.. Keep that in mind before you make imbeciles of us both.." He chimed in a cheerful tone. Then he withdrew, removing his overcoat, exposing a plain white button down tunic. Shortly, his fangs would be dug into her skin and the euphoria would begin. He licked his fangs, the smell of the girl was driving him literally insane.

Roderick knew mostly what was about to happen, but he was a generally kind man... Alright, even he would have laughed at that statement. Well, he was giving her a chance to change her mind, "I can see the future you know.. you have no way of getting a step ahead of me.." He purred, enjoying having her in this state. He enjoyed the fear he could literally smell as it radiated off of her, "Well alright, Aza." He replied, rolling his eyes. I liked mine better, but it can't be helped. If my pet wants to pick her own name, it's trivial to me. She can have it.

Roderick stuck by his word, he was being rather gentle. He proceeded with leaning in to close the gap between them, letting his tongue slide up the soft skin of her neck. He stopped his taunting, wrapping a firm arm around Azalea's waist, "Take a deep breath first, it helps the pain, love." Then he dived in after giving her a small window of a chance to take his advice. His fangs bore into her skin deeply, one hand petting her hair, the other pulling her closer by the waist. The taste of her blood sending him into a state of euphoria. He wasn't paying much attention to her anymore now that he'd already taken a bite. He was completely underestimating her. Unaware she was a hunter.. Actually, he'd been graced enough to never have met one until now. If he was vulnerable even once around Azalea, now would have been his vulnerable moment. His eyes were closed as the blood hit his tongue, savoring every drop. If she was going to try to escape, now would be the time to attack. His guard was low.

Julius gathered that she would offer her wrist. He was fine with this because it all tasted the same no matter which body part it was taken from. It was also human nature to offer up the part they assumed would hurt less. Though being a vampire with a human servant was a game of trust and Julius was willing to play.

' Close your eyes. It will help.'

He only planned to drain her a little, as the first time always left you feeling dizzy. He took the hand which she offered and brought it to his mouth. He could hear her pulse quickening, from fear and nerves but he knew deep down there would be some excitement in there too.

Before long his fangs plunged into her lilly white skins. Small drips of blood splattered on his pants as the warm liquid ran down his throat. Fresh blood was always better than stealing blood bags from the hospitals and she tasted good.
Before he knew it he was pushing her down onto the bed, the pain would have stopped for her now.
He pulled out his fangs and wiped his mouth.

' I hope that you are okay. It's been a while since I have had fresh blood.... Here'
He handed her a towel and some antiseptic wipes.

Cait let out a loud laugh. She had no idea why David had been brought here either but she never questioned vampire Law.

' Look Lad. Whatever the reason, you are here now and its likely you will be here until your natural death. Unless the Vampire Law changes its mind. However, You are in luck because I don't feed often. Though I will ask ye to help with certain erands.'

She patted the dogs head once more before making her way over to David.

' A small warning to you though. I doubt you will be trouble to me. Though if you decided to try and run I would catch you easily. If you decide to try and fight me you will lose. I have a especially heightened strength for a vampire... '.

Tentatively, Melita did as instructed, allowing her eyes to fall shut She nevertheless let out a squeek and a slight whimper at the initial bite, nearly jerking away, but somehow managing not to. Despite her misgivings, Julius had been correct when he said it would eventually stop hurting.

Feeling him push her down onto the soft mattress beneath her, Melita's eyes flew open, a jolt of adrenaline surging through her as panic reared it's ugly head. It was only then that she tried to squirm, but he was much too strong.

As soon as he released her, Melita started to clean her wrist, blood draining from her face and then shooting back up, rendering her cheeks a bright pink. She was sure he could hear her heart racing. She felt a tad dizzy and disoriented, but she was glad he was done. And why had he held her down on the bed, despite it being in a non aggressive manner?

"T-thank you.." the young woman murmured, handing him back the towel and antiseptic once she finished. Glancing up at the vampire, she noticed a drop of blood still on his chin. Taking the towel, she automatically cleaned it, dabbing gently until she realized what she was doing. She 'eep'-ed and pulled away, wondering if he'd get mad.

David looked towards the female vampire as she explained he would be here to his natural death. ''Great,'' he mumbled, ''I have a reason to kill myself now.'' He shook his head slightly to get rid of the thought and watched the female pat the dogs head. He shivered, he didn't really like dead animals. He then watched her approach, he backed away until he was standing against the wall and swallowed. He nodded quietly at her before focusing on the ground, wondering what to do.

''So... How should I call you?'' he asked, looking up at her again. Miss, Mistress or anything else, he wasn't really sure. Maybe he could flat out entertain her and then hope that the Vampire Law changes because he had done nothing wrong. He doubted it though, it was so unlikely. ''And is there anything special that I should wear?''

Please be it not. The young boy looked at her, waiting for his answers as he pondered what else he should ask. He had never been a servant and he wasn't sure how to behave either. ''And how should I behave?'' Were this questions silly? He thought so, but he was so uncertain, there was nothing he could do about that. He just hoped she wouldn't get angry at him or laugh at him for all these questions, it would help him get into his role. He wasn't that submissive from nature but he knew he wouldn't win against her or any other vampire. So he better be a good servant, maybe they would let him go.

The rush left Julius quickly. When he was younger it lasted for much longer, it was part of the reason most vampire's never gained control over blood lust. It was a sense of Euphoria when you fed on a human. As toxic and addictive as any high class drug you could find.

Melita dabbed the blood from his lip. It almost shocked him that she dared get close enough. Then she made a small squeek and jumped away once he made eye contact with her.

' You mustn't be too afraid. You gave yourself to me willingly, so you have no need to fear me.... Can I get you some nourishment... and please do bandage yourself. All the essentials are in the kit.'

Image

She laughed again. His questions were rather sweet.

[color=#004000][i]' Lad, You can call me Cait... You may be licensed as my servant but that aint the game I like te play.... Ye can wear whatever ye like. Whatever fits your comfort! '
.

Cait had also heard that she was destined another human. Tacitus had taken off early that day after learnifn of the humans entering the household.

' David can ye do me a favour? Will you go see if ye can find a lad named Tristan. He is also meant to be with us now? He should be in the drawing room... though I am not really sure where that is. '

Melita nodded, taking out the gauze and bandage material from the kit. At least the vampire in charge of her was well prepared and polite. Even so, it was hard to be at ease around him so readily.

The young woman glanced up at him, biting her lip before letting out what was on her mind.

"Yes...but even if I hadn't, what choice did I have? You said yourself you would drink from me regardless of if I was willing or not." she murmured, eyes looking back down at her wrist.

Immediately, Melita realized she hadn't thought about the consequences of speaking up to a vampire. Maybe he'd not care, but what if he grew angry? She swallowed hard, clasping her untouched hand over her mouth to prevent any further remarks.

David watched the woman nervously, still feeling rather confused about this whole situation. And it was really confusing, it really was. He sighed and nodded. ''I shall go see if I can find him. I have no idea where the drawing room is, though.'' He turned and left the room he had been in with the vampire. Maybe this was just some kind of joke and they would be released, though he highly doubted it. There was not much he could do about the situation, except hope it was either over soon or that it was enjoyable.

The youngster roamed through the house, checking room after room in the hope to find someone. He didn't though, he found himself lost. David sighed, looking around to see where he should go. This was all new to him. He made his way back towards the room of Cait and knocked on the door before walking in. ''I am sorry, I didn't find him.''

Azalea

"If you attempt to slide out the window.. you'll stumble, fall, crack your head open, and die almost instantly." Azalea stood still as he spoke, her blue eyes icy as she looked out the window into the dark void of night. The vampire's hideaway. She could feel him come closer, his chilled hand brushing her spoke rose colored hair off onto one shoulder, and she fought to hold her ground; whether it was fear or determination that held her in place though she could not tell. "Second scenario; You attempt to fight me. If that were to happen, I snap your pretty little neck because I've nothing to lose. I'm not afraid of the Vampire laws deary. Keep that in mind before you make imbeciles of us both." He chimed in a cheerful tone that made her cletch her fists hair enough ther nails left stinging imprints in her palms, and her hard eyes kept straight ahead as he withdrew and shed his coat.

"I can see the future you know... you have no way of getting a step ahead of me." He purred, obviously pleased with himself for so perfectly cornering this little mouse. His foresight had lead him to believe that he was dealing with a simple little mouse, but Aza was no mouse. She was a vicious rat only barely concealing her teeth. 'In this game,' she thought with a faint feeling of sadisfaction, 'the cat is not the only one with fangs.' "Well alright, Aza." Roderick cooed, coming up behind Azalea and carefully slighting his arms around her waist, causing her to shiver involunterily. She was caught, but her small thought kept her from screaming; the rat would overtake the cat. It had to. She had to. Or else the game would end, along with her life and the lives of the people trapped as she was.

Azalea felt Roderick's hand gently pull her hair down, tilting her head back to expose her neck and her hands clentched until her knuckles turned white. In her head she was screaming, and she bit down hard on her lip to keep from screaming outloud as she felt his tongue slide up the soft skin of her neck. 'Stay strong!' she demanded of herself, unable to keep the shivers of sensation from racing up and down her spine, 'Don't you DARE give in!' Suddenly his grip tightened and she gave a small gasp. "Take a deep breath first, it helps the pain, love." He murmured tauntingly before his fangs sunk deep into her neck, one hand petting her hair, the other pulling her closer by the waist.

Azalea's eyes went wide and her lips parted to scream, but nothing came out. The pain had choked her voice until there was nothing left, no air to breath, and though she could feeling the numbing effects settling it there was no pleasure for her; only excrutiating pain turned slightly dull. Her blue eyes grew glazed as her conciousness became fleeting, and she fought to stay awake. She could not afford to pass out in his arms when he was so exposed; this opportunity would likely never arrive again.

'C'mon Aza! You've got to stay strong!' she thought, commanding herself to stay awake despite the heavy darkness settling in her clouded mind, 'Get the knife... I've got to reach the knife...' Her fair hands moved, one gripping tightly the collar of Roderick's white shirt, while the other slipped down to the bag at her hip, griping the knife firmly as she could and raising it.

"You ought to be more gentle..." she murmurred, "Flowers can be dangerous. And if you hold a rose too tight..." Azalea whispered, her eyes barely opening as her fingers tighten around the handle of the knife, holding it above his back, "You're bound to be peirced by it's thorns."

Suddenly with a final burst of strength the Slayer noble girl brought down the knife, burrying the blade deep into his back. She felt his body give a violent jerk which flung her to the ground, tearing the flesh of her delicate neck. It had missed his heart, being aimed at the wrong side of his spine, but neither had it gone deep enough to peirce it as Aza had never been strong, especially not with this much blood loss. As she lay on the floor Aza fought to stay concious, clapping a hand over her bleeding neck, trying to stop the flow of blood. 'Get up!' was all she could think, her father's voice in her head demanding, 'Azalea, get up! You're bleeding! You need to get away!' and yet she was finding it hard to move, the pain forcing her body into a state of shock.

Tristan had slipped away quietly and returned to the room he was placed in, searching the room he picked up a stake from under the bed that he must have dropped. He had to act quick if he was to prevent any lives being ruined but he knew in his heart that after a feeding most vampires had a flux of energy so they could kill him easily if they wanted.

Even if Tristan was able to kill one vampire he would feel some accomplishment, standing up he walked around the house but most of the doors were locked. It seemed that they were feeding straight away, he had no idea where his vampire was. The silent vampire had not made an appearance, which was a problem she could sneak up on him and kill him if she so desired.

Tristan looked at a nearby open door, voices could be heard. " I am sorry, I didn't find him " were they talking about him. Stepping closer to the door Tristan breathed out slowly and stepped in stake drawn up to his chest. Stepping in between the human and. Vampire, he had to stop this from happening even if it was just one human. " Looking for me?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
