Appearance (at least two descriptive paragraphs):
Persephone has never been too different, facially. She’s an average weight, just slightly more slender than most girls her age. Her slim figure causes her minimally busty chest to look slightly out of place in comparison to the rest of her. With long, light brown hair, it seems to be almost dirty blonde in certain lights. She has faded red highlights here and there, almost completely gone except for the tips, which still show off the tint of red. Her eyes are hazel, which change color depending on her mood. When sad, her eyes become almost light green. Deep dimples stand out on her cheeks, emphasizing whenever she smiles.
Standing at a mere 5’4’’, her family and friends came up with the nickname “Nugget” for her, much to her dismay. She has cupid lips, indenting in the middle of her upper lip sharply. Her bottom lip juts out in a pout, giving the impression that she’s in a bad moody, even when she’s not. Being half Dominican, and half German, she tends to take after her mothers side, looking more white than anything else. The tragicness of her situation, her dark mood since the infection started, took away much of her glow. Now, Seph has dark bags under her eyes, the sparkle that was once in her eyes faded away.

Personality (at least two descriptive paragraphs):
Seph always had a bouncy personality. As a teenager, she was hyper, chipper, and silly. When she graduated high school, she maintained that personality, just a bit calmer. She has no problem voicing her opinion, and standing up for what she believes in. There is no problem when it comes to taking orders or commands, as long as she agrees with what is being told of her. She was never very good at keeping secrets, and still isn’t. Always witty and sarcastic, she tries to make people laugh when the opportunity comes. Shiny, happy, in love. That was what she was only months before the infection. It was seemingly perfect. She wanted to start a family, and part of her still does. She wished more than anything that she could be that bouncy person again, reclaim that lost love and find happiness. Shelter.
After the infection took place, Persephone’s personality was tinted with darkness. Her light was dimmed. Still, she kept up with appearances, able to retain her funny persona. Her outgoing attitude was less showy now, and she could only ever be herself around people who truly got to know her. All she wants anymore is to protect the people she can, and find a permenant residence where her group of friends can remain guarded and safe. But, that's a dream. She lives in a nightmare.


History (at least two descriptive paragraphs -- this can include childhood through 1 month after the infection):
Born in Pennsylvania, she grew up with her older brother, Anthony, and her two parents, Bill and Karen. They were a picture perfect family, parents happily married, kids that got along with amazing grades and honours courses. Until one day, after school, she went straight home. Anthony was at lacrosse practice, her mother was working. Her father had the day off, but the house seemed empty. Until she heard a noise coming from her parents room. When Persephone peaked through the doorway, she saw something she never forgot about to this day. There was her own father, with her mothers best friend. She never told anyone what she saw that day, not even her father.
The moment she graduated high school, she followed Anthony’s footsteps and went to college in Colorado. She just needed to get as far away from home as she could. A year after college, she moved in with her boyfriend, Max. And then, a year after that…it started. They were just relaxing, watching television, drinking wine. That’s when the emergency broadcast went off. They were informed of the disaster taking place outside, and looked out the window, seeing a preview of the hell that was to come. They packed their things and went outside, but the moment they exited their apartment, they were attacked. Max was bitten. Persephone brought him back inside and held him in her arms for hours, until she had no choice but to end his life before he could end hers.
