Tattoos/Scars
A sorta sleeve made up of part of Ophelia's rant:
love, remember: and there is pansies. that's for thoughts.
There's fennel for you, and columbines: there's rue
for you; and here's some for me: we may call it
herb-grace o' Sundays: O you must wear your rue with
a difference. There's a daisy: I would give you
some violets, but they withered all when my father
died: they say he made a good end,--
For bonny sweet Robin is all my joy.
Also a small scar on his right shoulder which happened when he fell down a flight of stairs. It's a miracle it wasn't his head.
Clothing/Outfit
He's a perpetually sloppy sort of person, and most often wears plain T-shirts that are too big for him, as well as plenty of sweatshirts.

Anyone finding out his good side or discovering any of his writing or art.

Grumpiness or silent thoughtfulness.
Demeanor
Broody and sloppy, like he hates and/or doesn't care about anything.
Quirks/Oddities
Yeah he's one of those people that has a really good heart and yet it's his greatest fear that anyone actually see that part of him? Like Snape or Mr. Darcy.
Skills/Proficiencies
He was a child prodigy, and has proficiency in most intellectual subjects--at least from how they were taught when he was a child. He speaks French fluently and is very well-read. He also went through a phase as a teenager that resulted in him being very knowledgable about weapons, including guns.

Pistol now....Otherwise, he always had his backpack full of books and homework.
Do they carry any keepsakes, trinkets, or valuables?
OOHHHH yes. His backpack is full of his writing and his sketches. He's very protective of it. No photos, though.
What is their weapon of choice?
Heckler & Koch USP pistol.
History:
Bullet point the major events and people in your character's past.
- Was born to wealthy academics who traveled a lot.
- His conception was mostly on accident, but his parents decided to "try it out," "it" meaning parenthood.
- They weren't very good at it, and he was pretty much raised by nannies.
- They only really started having an interest in him when they found out he was a prodigy.
- Luke resented them for this, and he didn't agree with the things they asked him to do with his "genius."
- He was bullied in school, but his parents handled it in a way that managed to make it worse.
- He (a bit disturbingly) wasn't terribly upset when they died in a mugging gone wrong. He was nine.
- He was put through the foster system, which didn't bother him too much because he always kept to himself and became a recluse.
- When he was eleven, he gained a foster sister named Madeleine Jennings, and they grew an attachment to each other.
- From then on, it was always made sure that Madeleine was moved through the system with Luke, because that was the only way she could be kept relatively sane.
- Luke had done the work to be able to support himself and start going to school as soon as he turned eighteen. He also room-mated with Madeleine the next year when she also turned eighteen (thought of course it wasn't that easy.)
- He was visiting Los Angeles for a once-in-a-lifetime seminar when the apocalypse struck.
