He enjoys the simpler things in life and prefers to let things happen as they happen rather than plan or try to guess when or what things will happen. He is clever and is often found trying to gain more knowledge even if it is about a subject he is not particularly interested in. Ross is great at having comebacks and even better at avoiding dangerous situations that are bound to be deadly.

Ross is creative and prefers to come up with plans that would be unexpected. Though Ross's plans can sometimes be dangerous, it doesn't mean that they won't work. His plans are often dangerous because they're so crazy, nobody would expect them to work. He is a proud guy and though his pride rarely gets in the way of things, he does take pride in his actions and ideas. He is a natural leader and enjoys leading, having a knack for handling people even though he sometimes seems lazy to some people.

Hobbies:
Drawing || Ross is always drawing when he is not napping, training, practicing, or sleeping. He finds time for it as his father had encouraged it and he hopes to feel closer to him by drawing.
Training || Ross hopes to become the best he can to help people and learn as much as he can about the world since he feels like he has been blind in what has been going on in his life.
Sleeping || Ross believes sleeping is a hobby considering he does it so much. He is always tired because of how much he practices and how hard he trains.
γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€
Habits:
Falling Asleep || When Ross didn't get a good night sleep the night before, he has a hard time staying awake when he is bored. He has fallen asleep in meetings that really bore him and has no problem with it, except for when he misses something important.
Humming || Ross has a pretty good ear for music though he does occasionally hit the wrong note when he hums a song. It isn't so bad that he flinches and cringes, but he still hears it and sometimes makes a face when it's pretty off.
Quoting || Ross has a bad habit for quoting things in random times. He has quoted multiple things out of the blue and has even been told that the quote has no significance whatsoever, meaning he just wanted to mess with people and succeeded.
γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€γ€€
Likes/Loves:
Coloring || Drawing || Reading || Books || Studying || Training || Practicing || Planning || Plotting Sleeping || Napping || Beds || Soft Clothing || Cute Girls || Sunshine || Beaches || Movies || Music || Humming || Quoting || Shakespeare || Family || Friends || Children || Puppies || Kittens || Friendly People || Roses || Color White || Pretty Views || Telekinesis || Certain Electronics || Hanging Out || Comfortable Couches || Soft Blankets || Comfortable Clothing || Food || Hats || Laughing || Good Jokes

Strengths:
Studying || Ross is a great studier as he knows what works for him and what doesn't. He learns material really well whether it is a scholarly subject or material for planning.
Planning || Ross is great at planning strategies, actions, and more. He plans wonderfully though he prefers to go with the flow and wait for things to unfold themselves.
Sleeping || Ross has a great talent for sleeping. He can sleep anywhere and has even slept on a kitchen table once. He is sometimes considered narcoleptic when in reality, he is just a teenager exhausted from all the work he puts in.
Listening || Ross is great at hearing people out. He only asks questions for clarification and can then give the advice he believes is going to result with the best ending.

Weaknesses:
Musical Ear || Ross can hear when a note is not right and or sour, but he only hears it after he makes it which causes him to sometimes be called tone deaf when he is really off his game on a day, or just sleepy.
Sleepy || Ross is constantly sleeping and it's only because of how much energy he puts out in his efforts for the Weeping Angels. He tries to sleep sometimes but can't but at the same time, tries to stay awake sometimes and can't.
Control || Ross is fairly good at keeping his control when it comes to his abilities. He has only ever lost control three times. Once when his mother was killed, once when he had seen his first innocent die, and when he had taken on too much and was extremely stressed.
Family || Ross can't let his deceased family go. Even though they weren't his real parents, he can't help but long and ache for them still. He sometimes looks at a picture he keeps of them though he doesn't do it around others if he can help it.

History:
Ross had originally been born into a family of one of the scientists that helped make his abilities happen. Ross grew up with the scientist and his wife in a small apartment on the outskirts of a small Japanese city close to where the Weeping Angels had originally been created. He was cared for greatly by the scientist and his wife as they were unable to have children and had always wanted a child.

Ross grew up constantly reading as his father always bought him whatever books he wanted while he made Ross pay for the electronics he wanted. Ross enjoyed the way his parents treated him and came to appreciate what their actions were doing for him as it was obvious in his schooling that he was superior to those around him when it came to understanding or grasping concepts. Ross's father also had Ross work on trying to develop the abilities Ross's father had helped instill in him.

Ross continued to flourish in his education, even taking on a couple of languages by the age of ten. He found that he enjoyed sports such as soccer and track because they allowed him to have an easy time practicing them considering it didn't seem to take much effort for him. He also enjoyed those sports since he wasn't very coordinated with his hands at that time.

Upon his father seeing this, he began to train Ross in his hand eye coordination, even making him learn how to use his right hand since he is naturally left handed. Ross found that he grew better in this as well. He took up drawing and even learned some cooking things considering his mother was sometimes caught up at work leaving him to fend for himself in the pantry of their apartment.

When Ross was around fifteen, his adoptive father went missing. Since then, Ross had searched for answers. He discovered the papers and files his father had kept. A month later, Ross was out at the movies with a friend when he got a call. Upon stepping out, he was told there had been a fire in his apartment and that his mother had been trapped inside. Heartbroken, Ross had a breakdown in the theater, accidentally causing the concession stand to have a mess when his abilities got out of control in his anguish.

Ross was discovered in the corner of the theater's back hallways by a boy upon picking up on the destroyed concession stand. He told him of the weeping angels and Ross, knowing his father had been a part of the group that had originally started the weeping angels, Ross joined. He wishes to find out why his parents were killed and taken as he believes the fire was not an accident and was not his mothers fault. The boy had once been a member of the weeping angels before he was killed in action.

[20 Percent Cooler || Ken Ashcorp]

XWhere: Apartment
XTime: 6:25 am
β—£XXXXXXXXXXXXXXβ—’
Spencer woke up in a jolt, taking in her surroundings. She felt her Istiglal right beside her, as she got up, she noticed she had fell asleep in the workshop- Once again. Tool's we're splattered everywhere, and her table was covered in small little tools which she rarely used since she can bend metal with her mind. 'Jesus, this place is a total mess. The next time Zephyr comes in here he better clean up his own mess or he'll get a hammer to his head.' Spencer thought sadistically, imagining it all come into play in her head. She totally liked being evil, it was like being good- But more fun. But the Angels are meant for good, so she tried her best everyday to be good, but it just sometimes doesn't work out. After all she does tell people to not get on her nerves- And what do they do? Get on her nerves.

She wobbled over to the mini fridge in her workshop and grabbed the milk carton. "Empty..." Spencer groaned and turned around to face her kitty cat clock, don't say anything about it, or she will literally try to murder you. It was around 6:25-30 am. Her stomach growled loudly and she hushed it, not wanting to wake up the others. She turned back to the fridge, that had everything empty in it. "Are you literally kidding me?! Great now I have to go out of my precious workshop to get more food. Thank's fridge." She whispered quietly, and grabbed her cat slippers to go out into what she'd like to call the battle field- Socializing. Spencer really hated talking to the other angels cause all they do is talk to Leo- or bug her. It's pretty damn annoying.

Spencer made it the door of the workshop, and opened it, walking out she closed it, then locked it- Because no ones stealing her things. She examined the outside of her door, a huge 'DON'T COME IN- OR ELSE' poster framed on it, and some cat stickers that Zephyr had put there to piss her off- And it worked, though that one kitten was really adorable. Spencer's workshop was at very end of there apartment, so she had to walk down three hallways to at least get to the living room. After the living room, is the kitchen, and that's the target.

Spencer started a slow walk down the first hallway as her stomach growled again. She hushed it and kept walking. This will be a hard journey.. But shes doing it for the food. She looked at the pictures on the walls of the hallway. 'I hate that picture..' Spencer thought and sneered. The picture was of the whole group, obviously Spencer looks like absolute crap, and the others look pretty good. She growled and stomped off, probably making a lot of noise. She finally made it to the kitchen, and she sighed. "Food.." Spencer drooled as she opened the fridge and the light that lit up once you opened the fridge door, made the food in the fridge look like it just descended from heaven.

Spencer grabbed some juice, meat, crackers, milk, and cereal. She put all of it in her bag and sighed."Mission Accomplished." She said, and took some of the crackers and started to eat them, the crackers tasted amazing, and she stood there, eating and eating.

Location: Shadow Space

Surrounding him was a desolate scape, a world which seemed to be fashioned with despair. Being deprived of any coloration whatsoever, the result was a monochrome sight, void of any inconsistencies in pigmentation. But there they stood, the two of them, faint concoctions of white hair and fine skin. The one standing across from Zephyr appeared to be a younger iteration of himself, sporting a cloak of dirtied rags as a means to cover himself. He glanced to his sides for any signs of infrastructure, but to no avail only found a blank plane. The teen then returned his gaze to the child while deciding his next choice of action. The beginning process of an outstretched hand was halted by a high-pitched, yet disheartened voice.

”So, are you happy where you are now?”

The child brought his line of sight up to Zephyr’s and stared maroon daggers at the latter individual. The older one ran a hand down his neck, as if he was thinking intensely of how to response. ”Oh yeah, most definitely! Anything’s better than what I had before.” He stated this firmly as he stretched a smile across his face, which caught the younger version off guard.

”But aren’t you scared that your past will find its way back to you?”

Zephyr let out a sigh and shook his head, ”You seem to be right. I am scared…” The cheerful tinge in his voice had almost instantly disappeared. His eyes narrowed as he raised an open palm at shoulder level. All of a sudden, a dark mist began to seep its way from his shadow and began to manifest itself into a shape within the open hand. The essence swirled around his fingers for a few moments before breaking off from the finalized product, his iconic G39. ”I guess that means I just have to erase my past, right?” He queried as he fixated the pistol in the child’s direction, ready to apply pressure to the trigger. In the space where words were just exchanged was only mere silence. Zephyr kept a stern expression as he stared down the child, whose facade hadn’t faltered in the slightest either. The staredown continued on until the older one abruptly broke into laughter. He lowered the sidearm and gave the kid his usual playful grin, ”Eh, c’est la vie. Besides, rumor has it that if history is forgotten, it’s doomed to repeat itself! And I like my current family, so I’ll gladly be haunted by my upbringings if it means staying with them! Anyways, it’s nice keeping my inner demons around. Reminds me what I have to repent for.” The child had an expression of pure bewilderment painted on his face, and was still processing Zephyr’s response. Rather than dwelling on it, the child in rags bursted into dark mist, leaving him to his own devices.

Location: Outside the apartment - Front door

”Black and red bullet~!” Zephyr ebulliently chirped to himself as he scaled the stairs leading up to his apartment. Beads of sweat eased their way down his cheeks, and paced huffs of air left his lungs while he continued his ascension to the front door. The boy was returning from his daily 5 AM jog, which consisted of covering an inhumane amount of mileage at an ever more ungodly hour. But he merely wrote it off as a normal workout, which was truly disconcerting to the other angels. Even worse off, the music blaring into his eardrums barely fits the recreational theme one usually takes on during a jog. Although, this idiosyncratic trait was only one of the countless others Zephyr was known for. After all, an adventurer seeking the secret of the world has to be versatile. At least, that’s what a poster in his bedroom says in overly bold and goofy font, the boy could just be repeating it because it’s a catchy phrase.

He dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out his media player, and took a quick glance at the time as he paused the song. ”6:25… got’cha. Jeeze, was I really gone for an hour and a half? Maybe I ran all the way to the Minato ward and back~.” Zephyr didn’t exactly ’keep track’ of where he went on his daily jogs, he just somehow always wound up at his apartment near the end of the journey. The boy picked up the pace when he slipped the key into the log, as it was his turn to make breakfast today. ”Today will be… egg omelettes! A perfect kickstarter meal for a proactive day, full of entertaining escapades and near-death encounters!” He would have gladly breached his way into the apartment running around like a snowshoe hare hyped up on espresso, but the boy remembered to dilute his overflowing enthusiasm when others were still fast asleep.

Zephyr quietly tip-toed his way into the hallway, trying to make the creaks within the floorboards as inaudible as possible. Luckily, he was quite the lightweight, so this was an easily accomplished task. He was usually the one to be up first, chronologically speaking. If he wasn’t entitled to make breakfast on a certain day, the boy would return from his morning jog at a similar time and sleep in for a few more hours. After all, an entity brimming with exuberance needs time to recharge energy. He quietly rounded the corner, but as he did so, his ears picked up the faint sound of munching. ”Somebody’s already awake? Wonder who it is? I would creep up and scare them, but I don’t want to wake the others up… Choices, choices.” Zeph sighed as he entered the kitchen and flicked on the switch in one fluent motion. He nearly broke into laughter when his cardinal eyes laid upon the sight of Spencer hunched over a recently gathered stash of food.

”You know, if we actually paid for the food, I wouldn’t hesitate to scrutinize you.” He managed to meager through quelled chuckles. The boy wiped away the beginning of laughter-induced tears from his lids as he paced his way over to the fridge and procured a carton of eggs. ”Don’t eat too much. I expect you to have a full stomach. Or at least something to compliment what you’ve scrounged together in that bag.” He stated as he peered into the contents of the bag, shaking his head at the measly edible armada assembled within. Yukan briskly yet lightly shut the fridge’s door and walked over to the stove. He placed the carton of eggs on the countertop then dropped down to a set of drawers below. ”Oh yeah, sorry for leaving the workspace in a mess. You moved the cleaning materials from the usual spot, and since you were already sound asleep, I didn’t want to attempt to wake you up.” He sifted through one of the drawers and produced a stainless frying pan.

The youth shifted gears into cooking mode and went to work with preparing breakfast. ”Jeeeeeeeze, today’s jog made me so sore! Maybe it was because I had to help way too many old ladi- sorry, senior citizens across the street.” Without even looking back at the girl, he could already sense a chasm forming within her furrowed brows. The boy operated with the spatula like a charm, and seemed quite versed in making simple meals, ”On a serious note, just be ready for today. The moon was giving me bad vibes last night.” His voice suddenly dropped to a serious tone. Although his abilities did not grant him form of foresight, his hunches had the tendency to be right. ”I’ll see you at the dining room for breakfast. The others should be waking up in the next hour or so.” He gave the girl his characteristic smile before reassigning his attention to the meal.

7:27 AM

Ross was running. He was surrounded in the flames of his apartment and could hear his mother calling out for him from wherever she was. Ross couldn't breath and found that every movement was now painful, his lungs burning as if the fire was inside his chest too. The crackling of flames made Ross want to cover his ears though he seemed to be unable as he struggled through the splintered wood. "Mom," Ross called as he caught sight of a shadow. There was a gun shot, then Ross felt his shoulder burn more than where his clothes had caught a bit of fire and barely touched his skin. As Ross looked down, his shoulder was covered in his own blood. There was another shot, then Ross woke up.

At first, he was confused and dazed, then Ross realized where he was. He sat up when he began hearing people moving about the apartment. Rubbing his neck, which had a crick in it, Ross thought about his nightmare, the fact that the pain was real since he had experienced both pains the nightmare gave him in real life. He looked around, confused for a second before seeing where he was. He had fallen asleep at his desk again, for the third night in a row. There was a map laying across his desk and it had a dots all over it from where Ross had marked locations. His gas mask hung on the hutch that was over his desk. Ross looked around, groggy before standing up. He went to his closet and pulled out a tshirt before grabbing his hat and a tablet he had to keep things organized. Walking out, Ross heard the sounds of breakfast.

As he made his way to the kitchen, Ross pulled up a new book he had gotten on the tablet. He had started buying books on there so he could store more in a smaller space. Upon making it downstairs, Ross moved toward the kitchen. He was almost there when he accidentally ran into the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. "Oww," Ross muttered before moving into the kitchen. "Good morning everyone, Spencer, Immacolata, Hokata, Tomo, Zephyr, and Kest," Ross states as he looks up for one moment before moving to the side of the kitchen where the least amount of people stood. Ross studied what everyone was doing, realizing that it was time for chores. He wanted to groan, but he didn't as he moved to set his tablet down by his spot at the dining table next to Leo.

Ross moved to the fridge to gather drinks. He glanced at Leo to ask her what she wanted, saw the water, then moved on. He preferred to sign to Leo since he knew how to. He knew she could read lips, but it was just something he enjoyed doing, otherwise he never would practice and he'd lose the language as easily as one could lose a verbal language. "Who wants what drinks?" Ross asked as he moved to grab a variety of drinks from the fridge and move to the island to set them all down. He then looked over his shoulder and leaned against the counter. He didn't really want to mess with Zephyr and his efforts to make breakfeast, so Ross reached above him from a few feet away. The cabinet door opened from the four feet away and a few glasses floated out above the heads of the teenagers before resting on the table. Ross closed the door with a light wave of his hand, then moved to poor himself a drink.

"We have orange juice, milk, water, apple juice, ooh, who bought the bottles of green tea?" Ross asked as he looked at the options. He looked around at the potential people. Ross liked green tea but only certain kinds, and this was a good one. Ross filled a pitcher with water then grabbed the orange juice container and moved to put them into the dining room. He went back to grab the cups then began placing them around the table. He picked up his tablet once he was done and sat in his usual seat. He then looked up at Leo, giving a slight wave with one hand while putting the tablet down with the other. Any news or plans for the day? Maybe want to go try shopping with the group again? Ross asked with his hands. He was a little rough but he managed to get the message out and smiled in happiness at the ability. He had learned how to sign from studying it online and watching videos.

7:30 AM | The Apartment

As Hokata continued to pay attention to the job that he was doing, more and more people started to pour into the kitchen. Well, usually this is the time when pretty much every angel should be up and ready for a new day. The last mission was a couple of days ago so they have quite some time to lay down and replenish their strength. Though Hokata and Tomo wouldn't really need it since they pretty much hanging around the apartment, as usual and Hokata would only go out if he wanted to go and buy some new manga or magazines, hanging around his favourite manga cafe, running some errands for Tomo or buying ingredients to prepare for their meals. Sometimes he did feel like a NEET if not taken into account that he's working for a group consists of secret spies who'd go out and defend the lives of civilians.

When Tomo entered and greeted everyone with his usual bored tone, Hokata turned his head and greeted him back with a smile. "Hi, Tomo-san." For some reasons, he became quite cheerful when being around with the Techie, no matter how distant he eluded himself from the others. He knows Tomo pretty much only shares his private stuffs with Hokata and vice versa and because of that, he seen his roommate in a rather different picture compared to the rest of their team. That might also be the reason why he developed his feelings for him, combined with what has happened in the past between the two of them. Though whenever he remembers of the time when he did that stuff with him, he couldn't help but blushes. And Tomo proceeded to sat at the corner while focusing on his computer, as always.

Moments later, Immacolata and Kest made their ways into the kitchen, apparently just woken up from their slumber. Hokata greeted them as they focused on their respective jobs. Kest then went and helped Hokata to clean the dishes that he'd just washed. "Thanks, Kest-san." Hokata smiled and paid his gratitude as he continued to do the rest of the dishes. The water's getting colder for some reasons and he better finished it quickly before his hands are a mess. Whereas sometimes he did forget to take care of himself, it doesn't mean that he doesn't know how.

"Ah, finally done." He said as he stretched his arms as he finished with the last dish. Just as he was about to set out the dishes that Kest's just dried, their leader - Leo, came in and greeted them. "Hi, Leo-san." Hokata waved to the white-haired girl as she poke in. He knows that despite of her deafness, she's quite good with reading others' lips so there are not too much trouble of communication going around between her and the rest of the teams. She then offered to set out the dishes with a short compliment for everyone, in which Hokata smiled back in appreciation. Though it's really not much, he appreciates it when people at least show him even just the smallest act of gratitude.

Hokata swept his sweats on his forehead away by his sleeve then turned to Zephyr. "I'll take these omelettes that you've finished making out, 'kay?" He offered to help as he brought the eggs that the white-haired boy has just made and brought them to the dining room. As he laid out the omelettes into each dish, Ross then turned up and offer his help too. He opened the refrigerator and grabbed drinks and asked everyone if they wanted to have some beverages.

"I'll have the orange juice, if you don't mind, Ross-san." Hokata smiled as he requested, "Oh, and I bought those bottles a few days ago. I often saw you drink them so I think they're your favourite." When everything is done, Hokata sat down at his usual seat as he waited for Zephyr to finished with the rest of the omelettes that he was making and for everyone to gather around the table. This is just their usual morning as it seemed that nothing particularly special is going to happen soon. But who knows, their mission notices always came in unexpectedly and sometimes they have to halted their meals to go on working. Life is always full of surprises, isn't it?

Hokata took out his phone and checked if he had any messages. He often hang out at the manga cafe which isn't very far from their apartment so he did get acquaintance with a few staffs who worked there and sometimes would go karaoke with them. It doesn't hurt making a few friends here and there, as long as he managed to keep his identity undercover, right? Then, he continued to think about what should he make for lunch or dinner if a mission isn't going to turn up. Hokata might stopped by the bookstore to grab a few manga and this week magazine on his way to the market, too.

"Technology has gotten us farther than we ever imagined, and its our biggest strength. Unfortunately that also means its our biggest weakness."

As Tomo waited for his computer to boot up, everyone else slowly made their way to the kitchen. Immacolata was first. She moved straight to Zephyr, peeking over his shoulder as he cooked, practically ignoring the theory of "personal space." It wasn't really much of a surprise. Kest came in at almost the exact same time as Immacolata, offering a bright and happy "Good Morning" before helping Hokata with the dishes. Tomo wondered if he should be doing something to help, but he figured if they ever wanted help in the morning, they'd ask him.

Tomo turned back to his computer when the screen blinked on. Quickly, he checked to make sure no one had hacked into their database. Pulling up a document, he added all the information about their last mission into the folder with every mission they'd ever had. It helped keep track of everything they'd done over the years, and gave him something to do when he wasn't researching things for their next mission. After he had finished, Tomo saved the document and pulled up some programming he'd been working on before turning back to watch everyone at work.

It was then that Leo came in, greeting the group and offering to help with the various chores currently in progress. Tomo had always found their leader rather interesting, in a platonic sense. It intrigued him how she could use sound as a weapon when she was completely deaf herself. Even so, he ignored her and went back to his programming, which he was getting rather far on. He saved his progress and spun his chair in bored circles.

Ross walked in just then, lost in his tablet. Tomo had to stifle a laugh when the younger boy ran in to the wall. Ross offered a greeting to the group and offered to grab everyone drinks, wondering who'd bought the bottles of green tea.

"Shishi bought the Green Tea, along with literally all the other groceries in here."

Tomo didn't bother looking up to see whether his sarcasm was registered or not. Hokata confirmed the statement a second later, mentioning that he'd noticed they were Ross' favorite drink. Just like Hokata to notice something like that, even Tomo didn't pay that much attention to the other Angels. Not that it really mattered, it wasn't like any of them did either, right? Tomo stopped spinning his chair and walked over to the fridge, avoiding everyone else and pulling out a can of iced coffee that he'd shoved in the back of the fridge to escape notice. It'd worked.

Opening the can and drinking some, Tomo flopped into his seat next to Hokata, setting the coffee on the table and pulling out his cell phone. 'Cool, no messages. That means we can rest. Not like I do much anyways.' It was true that he spent nearly all of his time either at his computer or doing errands and chores with Hokata. Every once in a while he'd pick up a book and read, but he tended to get restless reading for too long. Tomo's thoughts dissipated and he shoved his phone back into his pocket, turning his attention to the others int the room.

"I don't have any messages, so I'm assuming we don't have any new missions as of yet?"

One after another, members strolled in a sheepish manner and stumbled their way into their morning processions. The first was the brunette known as Hotaka, or as Zephyr has came to call him based on a Western cartoon, ’Doc.’ He returned the senior a similar greeting smile and nod, ”Eh, what’s up Doc?” The unconditional politeness brought on with the honorifics didn’t phase the boy, even though they were all on the same first-name basis, he simply forgot to add in suffixes. The medic strolled his way over to the sink filled with an abundant surplus of dishes, a sensible amount given the amount of people resided within the apartment. But the mention of any obstructions in his schedule made him perk up and took a pause while simaltaneously making breakfast.

Spencer stayed there eating, as the other members of the WA came flooding in. She hated socializing but she decided to try to talk with the others. Hotaka asked if she was doing anything so she said the truth. "Nope, I'm just working in my workshop like usual." She mumbled and shrugged. After everyone commented on her eating the crackers she put them away. "By the way, the next person to comment on my eating habits will get their tongue cut off." Spencer announced smiling wickedly.

”Well, I don’t think there’s anything really in the way… But I have the feeling the Elders are going to drop a workload on us. It depends.” Next was his technological lord and savior, Tomo, who issued the gathered members a brisk salutation before attaining refuge behind his computer. ”As per the usual, I guess.” He thought to himself as he flipped over an omelette half before setting it down onto a plate. Zeph reached across the counter and flicked the switch on the coffee brewer, since everybody needed a good cup of joe to kickoff the morning. All of a sudden he felt a faint tug at his black shirt, accompanied by a voice which failed to match the former individual.

Spencer watched Zephyr cooked and she sighed. "I need to get out more.." She mumbled and frowned.

He made a quick glance back to see both Imma and Kest gravitating over to him like a pair of lost puppies. Zephyr’s mouth widened at the jesting inquisition made by taller member, ”No, Kest, none of this for you! I just got back from an hour and a half walk, and I’ve built up quite the appetite. I think eight omelettes should suffice.” A light chuckle escaped his lips as he set down another finish article of food onto a plate, ”Why yes, there is of course one for you. And a super big serving for Imouto over here. Gotta grow up strong like a true warrior! But don’t eat too much, or you’ll start developing love handles like Spenc over there.” He made a motion with his head towards the teen indulging herself in a slew of snacks, like a true gluttonous workaholic. The boy jeered at the girl before returning to his work, continuing the repetitious process of cracking, sizzling and folding eggs.

"Take that back!" Spencer yelled and growled. She pulled out a knife from her back pocket to warn Zephyr then put it back. "I take my work seriously." She said then kept watching him make omelettes. She wondered how he cooked for everyone. She would probably burn everyone's omelettes, but hers. It's called karma.

He filled some of the omelettes with bits of everyone’s favorite meats or veggies, varying between each person. Given the second in command’s usual wakeup time, Zephyr believed that Leo was the last one to file into the kitchen. ”Morning, Leo~!” He greeted in an elated demeanor while she made her way towards the fridge. Just like that, the players were gathered, a group of abandoned or forgotten children, all finding solace in each other’s company.

Spencer mentally groaned, Leo was the worst. Though, she's kinda like Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.. She guessed that's ok.

”Oi, don’t decrease your own ration when she’s already receiving a reasonable amount. You have to be the most awake out of all of us, leader. And being awake requires you to have a full stomach!” He pointed a spatula in their direction, but was drawn away when the coffee was ready. It was a bit interesting seeing everybody dress in their casual attire. Meanwhile, Zephyr’s iconic wardrobe consisting of a completely raven-black set of shirts and pants doubled as his laid back and professional wear. Soon enough everybody’s breakfast was ready and organized at the dining table, which was already set up by Leo. Ross had also made his appearance by the time, and was already sitting down primly.”Breakfast’s ready! Last one to the table gets stuck with the omelette cooked from a rotten egg!” Of course, the latter half was a blatant joke, but who doesn’t like a little instigation? All of the seats were pulled out from below the table, ready to fulfill their roles. The boy was about to fasten himself in his own when his cellphone pinged with a notification.

TRACK CHANGE | Zephyr’s MP3 Player - Tactics

MISSION DETAILS INSIDE

Zephyr's eyes scaled down the device's screen, taking in every line in the text message. A thrilled grin ran across his face when he had finished intaking the information, "Sorry guys, we won't have all day to ourselves! Elders just sent us a mission!" Since Leo wasn't the most fluent auditor, and Ross found it grueling to read out the monotonous missions issued by the Elders, the task was usually carried out by Zephyr. The boy cleared his throat as he segued his way into the debriefing. "Now, I'm sure you all wanted me to perform the naked apron trope this morning, but I will have to duly apologize. Maybe another time. A-n-y-ways, this'll be a full team operation! That's right Doc, Techie and Crackshot, the three of you will be on the field this time. Along with Bosu and Saph, all field agents will be the main pieces in this scheme. Our mission is quite simple, actually. We must eliminate Fujo Hanamoto, the CEO of Hanamoto Industries, and erase the entirety of his company's database. The company's been straying into more than just a few fields, and has had a negative influence on politicians. It's obvious we need to excise him. Now for the stage... Leo, I always wanted to use this!"

"Yeeeeeeessss! I'll show all of you how to actually fight." Spencer bragged, and smirked.

Since most missions were just issued to a pair of field agents, they could easily just refer to a few pictures and schematics. But to elucidate the full picture for an entire team of eight, something more... vivid was required. The glass table which was bordered by plates suddenly lit up. In its center, a 3D representation of the complex was erected. At the center was a large skyscraper, the hub of the company, surrounded by an open space consisting of smaller complexes. The outermost part of the projection entailed unrelated buildings, which could be used as a perfect vantage point for a sniper. A list of names popped up next to the central hub, "Pretty cool, right? Elders know how to wield their money, that's for sure. Anyways, let's continue on. We'll have to operate in teams of two to cover more ground. Spenc and Doc will be on one of the rooftops providing overwatch, since both of them are mighty fine shots. On the west side, we'll have 2nd IC running with Techie, because we need that database hacked, and that entails Mr. Glasses remaining in one piece. Imouto and Kest will be moving on the east. Leader and I will be a quick-response team, and will be placed in between the two adjacent groups." As he listed off the teams, their names popped up in bubbles on their respective sides, along with a a set of three lines converging on the company building.

"If anybody becomes wounded, make sure to call it out over the comms. Leader and I will respond ASAP, and get you to Doc through Shadow Space. Unfortunately, this isn't going to be an easy operation. This place is pretty heavily guarded, so in other words, we're going to need to get our hands dirty. Just play the stealth game as long as possible. I believe Techie can hack any surveillance equipment they have, and disable the alarm network. But chances are, gunshots are enough of a signal that something's amiss. If need be, move between building and building. The CEO's office is on the top floor, and is too high for me to scale in Shadow Space, so yeah, this'll be a collaborative effort. Just keep in mind, these guards aren't trained to steer away trespassers." Zephyr smiled and scanned the set of gazes locked on him. In a short time, a group had came into fruition, this was a test of how effective they are.

"Mission starts at twenty o' clock. Have your partner's back, et cetera, et cetera. If you're vigilant, you'll stay alive. I believe we have the rest of the day to ourselves, just make sure all of your gear is organized before operation start." And with that, the serious, orderly, eloquent persona which was displayed to them dissipated, replaced with the cheery youth rubbing the back of his neck. "Alright! Let's dig in!" He clapped his hands together before plopping himself in his seat. "Was that a good debriefing, Leader?" He asked expectantly while treating himself to his meal.

Spencer dug in, not even caring about what the hell Zephyr said. She sat there like a pig, not even cutting her omelette to eat it. She just forked it, and ate it just like that, plain, and very, very good.

Ross had poured Hokata a special glass just because of the green tea. He wondered if it would be noticed if he spit in a certain techie's glass then decided against it. He had to be mature, for now. At least. Or something like it. Ross smiled as his friends bickered slightly, leaning back as he watched before he looked down at his tablet upon hearing a buzz.

A moment later, Zeph walked in and began with the mission breefing thankfully. Ross didn't like speaking constantly, finding it hard to read something without getting bored or distracted quickly. Leo would read it except it wasn't always easy to do it and for them to always get all of it in one sitting.

Ross opened his bottle of green tea, giving Hokata a toast before taking a grateful sip and smiling, closing his eyes as he savored the drink. Ross raised an eyebrow at the beginning of what Zeph said, then shrugged. Ross was surprised everyone was coming along, but who was he to go against their higher ups?

Fuju Hanamoto was pulled up onto his tablet as soon as the name was mentioned. More than a few fields with politicians... It meant that they were basically bribing or the politicians were allowing their opinions to come in, which meant the politicians might be next on their list sometime soon.

Image

Ross watched as the hologram appeared, observing it critically and not hiding the fact that he was. He nodded at Spenc and Doc's pairing, it was good just in case things went wrong. Ross knew Spencer wouldn't let anything happen to Doc, and even though Doc was fully capable, Hokata wasn't... Threatening. And his abilities didn't allow him to have a defense like the other angels did.

He nodded when he was paired up with Techie, not really liking it but knowing it was a needed thing. The elders wouldn't have done anything just because. They had their reasons, even if Ross didn't know it and wasn't entirely sure ifhe supported it quite yet. Ross smiled slightly. The fact that he had been paired with, as Zeph put it, "Mr.Glasses", in order to protect him made the pairing better.

Ross knew Tomo didn't really like him, but had no idea why. It wasn't like he had ever been mean to the guy. He hadn't missed the snicker he had done earlier when Ross had run into the wall, Ross rarely missed anything after all. Ross studied their position in relation to the building. How would they get in? They could do disguises, if there was nearby buildings there could easily be a way to get in from there, really there was tons of options.

As Zeph spoke, Ross realized what was really the easy part. Getting in might be easy, the hard part would be getting out. He was sure someone would get hurt, but that couldn't always be avoided. If it came down to it, Ross knew he'd take care of Techie, even if the guy was a jerk to him sometimes.

Ross wasn't for killing, but he wasn't for illegal acts either. This guy knew what he was doing was wrong, he had to realize what he was doing was wrong and had consequences, some that could be deadly. In his case, they were.

They had a few hours, around twelve and a half really. Upon Zeph sitting down to eat, Ross's demeanor changed, giving another little toast to Zeph before setting his tablet down and beginning to eat the omlet that had a couple of veggies Ross actually liked. He gave Zeph a thumbs up about both the debriefing and the omlet before taking another sip of the green tea.

"By the way, there's a new bookstore down the street, I think I'm gonna run down their once I'm done picking out slash prepping my knives if anyone wants me to pick something up for them. Or come along, just know we won't be there for more than ten or fifteen minutes max," Ross offered. He paused as he realized how weird that sounded if their lives weren't like they were. He had hoped to pick up a new language book to get started on Italian so he could eventually learn how to speak that along with Spanish and English and Sign Language.

8:05 AM | The Apartment

Everything is seemingly finished and everyone has gathered around the dining room to start their breakfast. Ross was pouring a special drink of orange juice for Hokata, in which he nodded and smiled back in appreciation, "Thanks, Ross-san." He took a the glass and took a sip. The liquid ran down on his throat, refreshed his thirstiness earlier when he had to do the dishes. Everything was normal, as ever.

Though for the others, it might be a bit boring if there aren't any real jobs for them to do since they were field agents and stuffs after all, while what Hokata desires was to have a normal life like this without having to worried much about anything. His job is mostly around their apartment and he likes it that way. But nonetheless, he'd feel much more alive if he had a chance to go on to the field again. Hokata hadn't been using the gun Spencer gave him for a while now so he hoped that he's not getting any rusty.

Tomo then said that he hasn't received any messages from the higher-ups yet so he assumed that there aren't going to be anything for them to do any time soon. Hokata turned to him with an assuring smile, "Well, the Elders always seemed to choose the most unexpected of moments to intrigue us with their missions so who knows? It's not like the two of us are going to be sent, don't you think?" He said as he received the toast from Ross.

They continued to have some small chats with each other a bit more. It's better to keep the conversations going between them so that they can communicate with each other better. A way to have better understandings of everyone, perhaps. It's never been hard for Hokata to observe and figure out what is it that his comrades like and interested in, unless they conceal it and didn't want to share it with him.

And then, suddenly, everyone gone quiet as Zephyr stepped into the room with the notification of a new mission. "Eh, speaking of the devils." Hokata chuckled as he wondered what sorts of mission they are going to have this time. Most of the times, it was Zephyr who will carry out the instructions of the higher-ups so they usually sent notifications for him or Tomo, since he was the Techie. Hokata didn't really pay much attention when there is a mission announcement like this since he thought that he isn't going to be sent on the field. But when Zephyr mentioned that everyone, even himself, Tomo and Spencer will all go, he was quite surprised as he straightened himself up.

"Wait, me and Tomo-san will be going too?" Hokata questioned. It was rather normal for him to be surprised. Things like these don't happen everyday. Does this mean that the Elders had put their trust in me and Tomo-san that we're capable of execute our jobs in this mission again? Hokata thought to himself as he watched the 3D presentation and what Zephyr got to negotiated. It was just a simple eliminate mission, but perhaps things are more complicated than they looked so they had to sent the whole team to do this.

Hokata raised an eyebrow upon hearing about Fujo Hanamoto, the head of the Hanamoto Industries. He's heard of this man before since Hanamoto Industries is quite a well-known company around these prefectures. There had been rumours here and there that they're actually behind the country's financial corruptions a few years recently. Some even believe that their CEO has strong connection with the underworld. Letting a man like that to get away with his agenda isn't something that the government, and specifically, the Elders would sit back and allow so it is understandable that the Weeping Angels will be sent to wipe them out, completely.

He watched his name on the hologram and saw that he was going to be put on position on the group with Spencer since both of them are good with guns alike. And, as usual, he'll also carry on the mission to treat everyone should there are any casualties. Hokata nodded in acknowledgement. "I understand. Though I really hope that you guys would watch your back and stay alert all the time. It's going to take quite some time for me to heal if you were shot on critical spots and we certainly don't have all day to wander around the building, do we?" Hokata spoke up as he showed his genuinely care for the sake of his comrades. He couldn't bear to see them get hurt and hopes that none of them will do anything reckless.

It seems that Tomo is going to be paired up with Ross. Hokata is well-aware that the two of them didn't get on well with each other. Well, it's mostly because of Tomo but he also hopes that things will turn out well between them and they won't mess up. Hokata's going to be frantic should anything happened to Tomo, or any of his comrades. But that's just how he is and what makes him a doctor of their group. He doesn't have much trouble pairing up with Spencer either, since he knows that he's not capable of defending himself like the rest of them and it makes him felt much more at ease having someone to back him up.

Hokata listened to the rest of what Zephyr got left to say. It seemed they'll execute the mission in at 8:00 PM so they still have plenty of time to prepare beforehand. When everything's finished, Hokata turned his attention back to his breakfast and finished up the omelette on his plate. It was then that Ross spoke up and offer to go to the new book store down the street. "I was planning to go there too." Hokata said to Ross, "There's a couple of things I wanted to grab, and this week's magazine has just been published yesterday so I want to get one. Hope you don't mind tagging me along."

After finishing with his breakfast, Hokata stood up and picked up his dish, "I'm going to get the clothes hanging." He said as he took the dish and carried it with him to the kitchen. Putting the dish into the sink, Hokata then proceeded to made his ways to the washing machine. He taken out the newly-washed clothes and put them into the basket as he took them to the balcony. As he hung up the clothes, he couldn't help but wondering what are they going to face tonight. Is he going to make it after such a while haven't been sent on the field? He can only wait and try his best for now. He's looking forward to put his gas mask on again.

Leo had sat and observed as the room gradually became flooded with bodies, as everyone took their respective seat at the table along with their breakfast. Turning to her side she especially noticed Ross who was trying to relay his ways through the use of his hands, to which the girl gave a light shake of her head. ”No news yet,” At least as far as she was aware for the moment, before finishing a minute later with, ”Possibly.” Toward his other request.

Everyone had broke into minor conversing for the next few minutes, though Leo remained confined to her seat and simply watched everyone as they indulged in their chatter. Of course the scene around the girl was muted to her ears only, but the swirls and wiggles of waves that radiated from their beings was more than enough amusement for the Leader to distract herself with in the meantime. However suddenly Zephyr’s mobile rang, as she noted the boy reaching for his phone.

Moving her vision over and onto the boy, the Leader focused attentively on him, to ensure she read everything he said. From what she gathered early on it was a mission, obviously, though not before exhaling a very slight chuckle toward the energetic boys little joke of sorts. Though it was barely audible, Leo quickly fell back into her serious mood and gave a confirming nod. Apparently the group was to eliminate Fujo Hanamoto, the CEO of Hanamoto Industries, though Leo wasn’t entirely familiar with them.

Not that it mattered though. Leo preformed her duties without question and so, should someone’s name happen to fall onto their hit list per say, the girl wouldn’t question it. Suddenly, a hologram came into sight as the 3D structure highlighted the entire complex. Looking it over the girl examined the image, even leaning in a little to better comprehend the building. Whilst she was busy noting aspects of the hologram Zephyr then listed off their names and respective partners which even included Hokata and Tomo, however Leo found herself partnered with Zephyr himself, which the girl gave a slight nod in acknowledgement.

Not long after Hokata spoke up and unsurprisingly warned the group to be careful more or less, which he usually did, considering he was their doctor and everything. But similarly understandable, Leo was known to be a tad reckless when out on the field, or more correct was just willing to take a hit. For the good of the mission she was very self-sacrificing, and roughly believed that she would survive most of her ordeals anyway. However likewise, she would do everything possible within her being to keep her team safe at any length.

From what she understood both herself and partner would be forming a response team of some kind, which she happily accepted and made a reminder of. And then, they were informed that the mission would commence at eight o’clock, and that the remainder of the day was theirs as they saw fit for now.

”Understood,” She said with another nod, as Zephyr then took his seat and dug into his breakfast. Toward his comment, the Leader gave a delayed smile to reassure him, having taken a moment or so to grasp what he had asked and then replied with, ”Of course.” Giving attention to her own meal the leader picked up her knife and fork and cut into it, before taking a bite seconds after. As unlike a certain few others their leader however, retained a high degree of manners when it came to eating in public.

Ross was next to address the group to state that there was a new bookstore just down the street, and that he would be venturing there later, in case anyone wanted to join him. Hokata offered to tag along, whereas Leo had to think it over for a few silent minutes to herself. Ordinarily she might have joined them, though since there was a mission coming up the girl had to be in the zone as she at times described it. Despite enjoying reading as much as she did as well, Leo also found book shops to be a tad too quiet in her opinion.

”I am fine.” She told Ross, before finishing her breakfast. Once she had done, the girl then rose from her seat and held her plate carefully to give a quick curtsy to the group. ”I may just go for walk… to clear head.” Leo said before taking her leave for the kitchen, her expression evidently serious all of sudden and perhaps even a slight linger of worry creeping onto her face. But that was normal for any mission, and it only proved how seriously she took them. ”Be ready.”

Leo sat her plate in the sink before retreated to her room, setting the bottle of water on her desk before proceeding to rummage about in a drawer nearby. She had to make sure she had everything before setting off, as well as just ensuring her room looked presentable into the bargain. Once it was Leo stepped out of her room and checked her watch that was securely strapped to her wrist, and then quickly fixed her hair.

8:34 A.M. | The Apartment

Kest watched as the rest of the team filed into the kitchen, all awake and alert. They had to be ready for a mission at any moment in theory, so their early morning energy was expected. He was finishing up drying the dishes when Ross offered drinks for everyone. "Water, please," Kest said. Meanwhile, Zephyr's omelets were almost finished, and from the look on everyone's faces they smelled good. Kest imagined they smelled slightly bitter and a little salty, but he really didn't know. Even when he was shifted into someone else his sense of smell was dulled. Zephyr kept a straight face in response to Kest's question, saying that all of the omelets were for him, but then grinned and said they were for everyone, much to Kest's relief. He glanced at Imma, knowing that she would hate to be left out on eating the omelettes. He dried his hands on a towel and ruffled Imma's hair with his hand, asking, "How'd you sleep?"

Imma had been watching intently as everyone slowly filed in. They all seemed so alert, she wondered if she seemed alert. She didn't feel particularly alert. The scent of the omelets was luring her, calling out to her softly. She calling out to her softly. She looked up horrified as Zephyr mentioned all of the golden edibles were for him, she was even contemplating stealing some from him, which she usually wouldn't but they just looked so good. Thankfully her big brother came through, taking some omelets Imma sat down beside Kest and nuzzled his hand as the larger man ruffled her hair. "I slept fine, no nightmares, what about you?" Imma kicked her feet lightly, her legs were too short to reach the floor while sitting in a chair. Her mind went over the mission briefly, it sounded easy enough, but then again when is anything ever easy?

The mission could go in a bunch of different directions. Everyone would be on the field, so everyone would be vulnerable. Kest looked at everyone anxiously, especially Tomo, Hokata, and Spencer. They usually didn't go on the field, so he was especially worried about them. Injuries could happen to anyone, but these people were specialized members of the team and not as easily replaceable. He took a bite out of his omelet trying not to worry too much, when Imma responded to the question he had asked in the kitchen. "I slept well, too," he said. He didn't usually have nightmares, though sometimes he had pretty vivid dreams.

Hearing Kest's reply Imma nodded as she finished her third omelet. There were little crumbles of it all over her face, this was common given her usual "vaccum" style of eating. Imma looked up at her friend and spoke softly. "So, I guess we're paired up." She was happy that she got her little buddy as a partner, Kest was very special to her, he always managed to make her smile when she wasn't feeling the best. Which really meant a lot because she wouldn't even allow most people to try.

"Do you want to talk strategy now?" Kest asked. "Well, after you finish eating, of course. Or do you want to relax for a while and then make a plan?" He could go either way. He would have to put on fresh clothes and inspect his katana and select pictures of things to shape shift into, but if Imma wasn't ready to start thinking, he could wait.

"Well, we could talk strategy if you wanna." Imma gobbled up the remainder of her omelets and wiped her face. She looked down sadly at the plate and ran her soft finger around the rim of it. She had licked it clean, which she figured was less work for whoever was doing dishes. "Did you have any ideas?"

Kest brought out his mobile phone and scanned the mission himself, looking to see if there were any attachments of related people he could shift into, as there sometimes was. Good, there were pictures, and there was even some information about the people. Kest tilted the screen so Imma could see as well. "See that person? Futawa Hiroshomo? It says here he has a daughter. I could shift into him and you could pretend to be my daughter. It doesn't say what his daughter looks like, but I don't think she would look like you. So maybe you could apply an illusion to yourself to make yourself resemble Hiroshomo-san in some way? In a way a daughter might resemble a father?"

Imma giggled softly and reached up to play with Kest's hair, not really catching every word but she understood the situation. Illusion making was her specialty, she pondered momentarily and glanced down at the image of Hiroshomo. "I see. . . Fut-a-wa. Sounds like a good plan. I'll work on making an illusory skin to look more like her. Plus if I do that then I can maintain it longer." Imma began braiding the longer pieces of his hair as he ate.

Kest lowered his head closer to Imma's hands so she could braid his hair more easily as he continued eating. Zephyr had not disappointed with the creation of his omelets. The shape shifter finished his food and sent the picture of Futawa Hiroshomo to the printer. Slowly he disengaged himself from Imma's ministrations, taking his plate and Imma's plates and giving them a brief rinse in the sink. After grabbing the picture from the printer, he turned to his little sister and asked, "I am going to need some back up disguises as well. Want to help me select other pictures?"

The small girl watched as Kest took care of the plates, her large glassy eye watching every muscle in his back move. Then she turned her attention elsewhere as he approached. Upon hearing his request a smile beamed on her features. "I'd love to!" Imma rose and looked up at Kest, she felt as though this mission was bound to be a success. How could it fail with a team like theirs?

Kest led the way to his room and checked on his equipment while Imma looked at all of his pictures. His mission equipment included his gas mask, his katana, and a set of black clothes with pockets designed for holding pictures of various sizes. It would be good to put this on again. Every time the team accomplished a mission they prevented someone else from accomplishing evil. If killing the wrong doer was the way to go, so be it. Cut off the head of the snake and the body dies too, unless the snake happened to be a hydra. But so far the Weeping Angels had had few hydras to deal with. Drawing his katana out of its sheath, he wiped it off with a cloth and gave it a couple practice swings, being sure to keep well away from Imma. He resheathed the sword and turned his attention back the the purple-haired girl. "Find any good ones?"

As they headed to Kest's room Imma felt very content. Hanging out with those close to her made her feel invincible. Once they reached the room she dashed inside and began scanning over the disguises. She wondered briefly what types of people would be just around. A few of the images made her chuckle. Her train of thought was interrupted by the almost silent sound of sleek metal whooshing through the air. Imma froze up like a statue. She hid it well but her hands shook lightly, then hearing the distinct sound of Kest sheathing it she nodded and kept looking over the photos. By the time Kest made his way back to her with a question she had found a few basic covers. "These ones." She handed up three photos, one was an elderly man, another was a public service type person, and the last one seemed to be a nobody. Another face in a crowd. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but she figured these worked almost anywhere and she could work up an illusion for her features accordingly.
"You think we can do it?" She asked softly as he took the photos.

"Yes, I think we can." Kest wasn't as foolish to say he knew they could, for something could always go wrong. But did he think they could? Absolutely. They would likely suffer some injury, but they had done this many times before and been successful, so why would this time be any different? "Oh, there's one more picture that I think I should take, too." He reached up and took down a drawing of a mouse from its sleeve on the wall. The drawing was hyper-realistic, as all of Imma's drawings were. "I'll take this too in case I need to sneak around or get into someplace small."

A soft gasp of excitement escaped Imma's lips as Kest took one of her drawings as a reference, not that he hadn't before, it just always made her happy. She nodded quickly and smiled. "You make a very cute mouse." Imma said softly looking down and as she did she felt a soft heat painting her cheeks. She wondered briefly why that was but decided it wasn't important. She stood beside Kest, the height difference painfully obvious. "Now what do we do?"

"Now we should enjoy our day. The mission isn't until 20 o'clock, so we have quite a while before we have to leave. I'm going to go to the bookstore with Ross and Hokata. I want to see if there is anything interesting there. You are welcome to come if you want." Kest knew that Imma couldn't read, but she could always pick out a book and he could read it to her. Their tastes in texts differed, but Kest was always willing to try to put a smile on the face of his teammates.

She listened carefully to her senior teammate. Going somewhere with friends sounded nice, but her white roses. . . Well she did take care of them that morning. Weighing her choices Imma decided friends would be fun. Besides she liked the silly voices Kest used when he would read to her. "I'd love to accompany you, if it's not much trouble." Imma reached out and grabbed his hand. She had an odd feeling in her chest, a feeling that wasn't bad but it was definitely strange. Pushing that aside she prepared herself for the journey. She looked forward to this little calm before the storm that awaited them at 20.

"Technology has gotten us farther than we ever imagined, and its our biggest strength. Unfortunately that also means its our biggest weakness."

Tomo ignored his phone when it vibrated, already aware of who was messaging him. He figured someone would read it out and explain the plan anyways, so why bother? And, sure enough, Zephyr started to give out the mission plan only seconds after the message came in to the Weeping Angels. Tomo started eating his breakfast while the boy talked. Fujo Hanamoto, eh? As soon as the words were said, Tomo stood and rushed to his computer, entering in the name into both Google Search and their personal database. Pictures and facts came up as Zephyr kept talking. Oh, cool, looks like we're all going to be put into the field this time.

"On the west side, we'll have 2nd IC running with Techie, because we need that database hacked, and that entails Mr. Glasses remaining in one piece."

Tomo scoffed at that for many reasons. Ross and him? Great idea putting them together, truly. He didn't even know why the hatred for Ross was there, but it was. Also, Mr. Glasses? Since when was that a nickname? And he definitely didn't like the fact he was being given a bodyguard. Not that he didn't appreciate it, but he certainly didn't think it to be necessary, especially not with possibly the only other person in the Weeping Angels Tomo didn't like. Whatever. I don't make the pairs, and those elders probably have a good reason. At least they better.

He thought it was kind of odd that they'd put Hokata with Spence. Tomo knew Hokata didn't really feel that comfortable around Spence on most occasions, and figured the girl probably scared him to some degree, but it was true that they were the best with guns. And then were the cliche pairs, Leo andZeph, Kest and Imma, etc. Not much had changed there. Tomo snapped from those thoughts to pride when he finally noticed that Zephyr was using the 3D screen he'd added to their dining table a couple of weeks back. He'd spent quite a lot of time on that project.

"So what happens if Hanamoto has a doppleganger or a body double? We can't have blood on our hands, not in that kind of way. One of us is going to have to determine whether its the real guy or not before we kill anyone."

Tomo didn't wait for his question to be answered before he turned back to his computer, skimming over the information on his screen. There was stuff about his family life, his business, accomplishments, staff, health, even more than that. It was astonishing how much you can find out about a person from Google. Now, whether the information was the truth, that was the question. He figured the stuff about his family was probably legit, people didn't tend to lie about that. Tomo pushed off his intel for a bit and turned back to Zephyr, who was explaining what to do if someone got injured and where things were in the building.

Soon enough the speech was over, and Tomo had grasped almost everything that had been said despite the fact he'd hardly been paying attention. He'd made a skill out of that. The team went back to their breakfast, and Tomo went back to his research, having already finished his food. He heard Ross in the background ask if anyone wanted to accompany him to the bookstore before their mission started, which, to no surprise, Hokata agreed.

"I still don't understand why you guys won't let me buy things online. Its less work to just have people bring the books here than go all the way to the bookstore, you know."
