Age| Unknown, though she appears perhaps seventeen or eighteen.

Gender| Female

Species| Angel of Temperance, Fallen

Abilities | Cadriel, as an angel is built for flight, making her quite quick and agile, with an impressive aptitude for clambering around. She is able to fly using her wings, that appear black and feathery, though are patchy and shedding frequently. She tends to leave lots of black feathers behind when they are unfurled.

Personality|

Once an Angel of Temperance, one of the cardinal virtues; Cadriel, now usually known as Caddie, was a representation of balance and mediation between forces of creation and destruction. Her fall and subsequent loss of Angelic ability has resulted in a drastic imbalance and turned the angel into a creature of two extremes. To put it simply, Cadriel has two different personae that inhabit one form.

The first, and more commonly encountered aspect is mercifully almost entirely benign, if a little peculiar, and tends to go by Caddie. Caddie is a rather peculiar, timid, often rather child-like individual. She is quite trusting and easily led, and seems both bemused and fascinated by a number of mortal things, particularly technology of any sort.

Caddie likes to climb things. She's happier sitting on a book shelf or a window-ledge. Being on terra firma makes her rather nervous. She's very fidgety, moving around an awful lot when allowed to, and also prone to messing with things. If there's an object that interests her chances are she'll have picked it up and will be toying with it within a few minutes of being in a room with it. She is extremely forgetful and rather prone to losing the thread of a conversation in the middle of a sentence.

Despite her rather skittish nature she tends to be very cheerful in her outlook, rarely, if ever becoming seriously upset or angry with others. Like a child any sadness she experiences is usually quickly cast aside when she discovers a new distraction. Caddie has a very strong affinity with birds, and likes to feed them when she has a chance.

The second aspect refers to itself as E, and is a destruction aspect. She enjoys carnage and exacting a sort of grim reprisal on the guilty if she can find them, and on local wildlife if no guilty are available. She bites the heads off rats and birds.

Once could be forgiven for assuming that E was nothing but a lunatic or vicious animal, but those familiar with the destructive aspect have come to find that she displays a high level of intelligence and logic. E will happily speak with others and explain her macabre tendencies as being the only activities that hold her interest, due to the fact that she is an embodiment of divine punishment wholly corrupted and lacking in compassion. Indeed while this aspect can be perfectly civil she does not form attachments with others. Rarely some people may attract her interest that she sees fit to 'keep them around' but to date it is only the gentle aspect that E has ever sought to actively protect.

Bio|

Little is known about Cadriel and the circumstances surrounding her arrival in London. The story goes that her appearance was precipitated by a notable impact, some object falling from the sky onto Wimbledon Common, though little evidence was found at the site. Shortly after than event then the small, shabby individual appeared around Islington. She would talk to herself, converse with flocks of pigeons, or narrowly avoid getting run down by coaches, and a great number of citizens wrote this individual off as some variety of mostly harmless lunatic.

This bizarre behaviour combined with her friendly disposition, small size and relative youth meant passers-by often offered her things such as food or warmer clothes, which she accepted gladly, and it allowed here to eke out a living of sorts.

At the same time however, the carcases of pigeons and feral animals began to litter the streets of areas she frequented after dark. Not everyone saw a connection, but a few saw enough co-incidence between the apparently good-natured beggar and the nasty goings-on to give her a wide berth. When the nasty murders began, suspicions really started...

So begins...
