"Oh goody, I love these days" Ravi half heartedly mumbled to herself and then commenced reading the alreadly memerized volume of the "Survivalist".

"Kxo jir aj kee rhawat! Tumd ratj nebo mo kee ouhcoo." She slammed into the door of her shop and tumbled backwards, the bottle flying out of her hand and shattering on the ground. "Un jaok! Moh reeqo." She sighs and pulled herself to her feet, opening the door of the shop and lighting the candles in the back. She flipped the "Open" sign over in the front, showing her preparedness to sell her goods to the general public. She slumped over on the counter, pushing some herbs out of the way. After a while, a burly Hunter strides up to her confidently and taps her on the head.
"Nauk kxo k'socc, ooei elohwhend ataek?" she growled at him. The hunter snarled and grabbed a fistful of Skulblaka's dreadlocks and pulled her over the counter. With a gasp of pain, she twisted herself onto the man's arm and breaks it. When they hit the ground, she jumped on his chest, pulled off his helm, and proceded to beat him in the face with it. After his skull fragments had embedded themselves into the metal of the helmet, she tossed it away casually and passed out, too drunk to do anything else.

"Nxuk kxo..?" was all that could that she could think to murmur. Then the bulletmaker moved and slumped down besides a wall.
"Idrocalurco! A ujb veh jemokxadw opsakadw udt A wok u tumd ruhvawxk!"
Ravi, sat there and started tapping her foot, waiting for the unconscious man, if he was alive to wake, or for the passed out girl to come back to the realm of the conscious.
"A xuko kxaj laccuwo."

A small cough burst forth out of Skul. The cough turned into a bigger one, which evolved into a fit that sounded like Skul would cough up a lung. Gasping for breath, she rolled over and vomited into the snow, coloring it red with her blood.
"A'm kee ooeidw veh kxaj jxak. Kee tumd ooeidw." She stood up and unlocked the door to her smithy, fumbling around in the darkness. A loud crash issued out from the hut, followed by some choice words.
"Nxoo kxo XOCC ted'k A coulo nadtenj efod ed kxaj fcuso." She rummaged around some more, trying to find a candle to light or something, when a loud bang made itself heard above the noise. Skulblaka's body was hurled through a window, splintering it into matchsticks, and she was deposited bodily into the snow. She accidentally triggered one of her more powerful large bowguns, which she had left loaded, and it blew a hole in her lower chest and threw her outside. Luckily, she had devised a potion that would speed up body healing processes to a rate that would let the user survive life threatening wounds. Unfortunately, she didn't perfect it, and while she wouldn't die, she would be left with a gaping hole in her side.

"Fcoujo kocc mo kxaj aj u zebo," She looked at the bizarre woman again, then crouched down next to her and dragged the woman inside her building, and put her up against the nearest wall and closed the door behind her.
"Kxaj aj u zebo!" then she wandered over to her store and shut the door, then locked it with the key she kept on a chain around her neck, and went off to the bar, hoping enough alcohol in her system would save her from the probable insanity around her.
-a couple of minutes later at the village tavern-
Ravina looked around and saw an empty seat next to a large, burly man obviously enjoying his liquor, and strolled over to the seat, took the seat with a sigh and a groan. The bullet maker then lifted a single finger at the barman, her order without a word, 'one shot of the usual', she then turned to the big man besides her and guessed by his gear that he was a hunter then mumbled to him, "Nx0 aj kxaj kend je rceet0 adjudo?", then the scraping of glass on wood showed the arrival of her drink, a small shot glass filled with a dark, amber liquid. She mumbled something to herself about relief in Saurian and gulped it down in one shot, and felt the booze sear it's way down her throat

Those hopes were dashed when she then mumbled something in Saurian to him. Gods damn it why did he have to get lost!? Using pretty much the only phrases he knew he answered "De Juihaud. Jfoub n0lohaud?" then, as if it would somehow help, he added "A um xidkoh." and lifted the skull off of the barstool next to him so she could see it. True, he may not share in the triumphant joy of the young ones, but he was still proud of his accomplishments.
He just hoped that someone in this damned village could speak Wyverian, or he was going to end up having to draw pictures every time he wanted to say something. Ordinarily he would just leave, but that bloody blizzard had cut off the mountain pass. He was, when it came down to it, stuck here for an indefinite amount of time.

"Tell ya what, I'll translate for you, but you gotta do two things for me, One. Tell me how you got that skull, and Two. Help me around my shop... Deal?" she replied.
Well, if he was going to be stuck here for a while, he would need her help. Besides, he didn't mind doing a little work, and the story would be easy enough to tell. For some reason she was trying to look all cute and innocent. If she thought that that would motivate him she was very wrong, either that or alcohol affected her very quickly. Either way, when you spend your life hunting creatures who would eat you as soon as look at you, you quickly lose any sympathy for cuteness, and innocence was just a distant memory.
"Deal." he answered. Well, he might as well get the story telling out of the way now. "Okay, so there is a village on the other side of those mountains which was being terrorized by this creature. They hired me to go and-" BOOM! He was interupted by the door flying open and a woman staggering in. Ordinarily this would not have held his attention for more than a second, but the fact that she had a small hole in her side was really rather strange. The woman ordered a drink, and proceeded to pour some of it into the hole. This was getting just plain weird.
"What!?" said the woman, looking right at him. It was only then he realised he had been staring.
"My apologies, but you appear to have been holed. It looks rather painful is all." he replied, before turning back to his drink and setting the skull back down on the stool.
"I guess the story will have to wait until later, when there aren't going to be any interruptions." he continued to the woman next to him "When do I start work?"

Glad that her life wasn't threatened, Skulblaka tossed a few lumps of ore on the counter from her satchel and asked the barkeep if anyone needed any business done. The bartender glanced at her oddly before picking up a list of contracts from behind the bar and set them in front of her. Skul skimmed most of them, tossing them back at the bartender haphazardly before settling on one she wanted.
"A'cc kube kxo edo nakx kxo jnumf." she stated. The bartender shrugged, stamped it, and then posted it on the quest board. Standard procedure stated that all other hunters had ten minutes to join on a quest before the party left. Swamp quests, like the one she picked, were not well liked. She only did it because she was running low on some reagents she needed for a few potions and the swamp was a gold mine for herbs and mushrooms. She quickly ran back to her hut and grabbed the Perforator, her custom bowgun, and a few types of shells, then ran back to the gathering hall.

"Not even a good morning? Huh? What's our quest now?" then she cursed at him in Saurian "0ei tumdot mehed." She felt her boots gathering the thin white dust from the ground.
"Would you at least stop dragging me about like a little puppy dog? and let me grab some more ammo at my shop, geez!" She yanked her arm from the archer's arms and hurried over to her shop, pulled the little Iron key from her neck, on the red silk lace, and unlocked the door. The Bullet crafter motioned with her arm for her partner and started finding spare ammo inside the shop.
"Come on! We're gonna miss the damn quest, I got a new potion for you!" She grabbed an ammo bandolier, neatly organized, it was her hunting pouch, it had her normal ammo, a few piercing rounds, exactly half a dozen sleep shots and 1 flaming shot, she reserved it for very special occasions, and because she loved her explosives. Her bandolier had little loops of worn out leather, where she kept her potions on, she reached over her counter and pulled out 3 potions, 2 of her special brew serums, basically made to keep someone awake aslong as possible and her new potion she had prepared a couple of batches of, a corrosive acid, specialized to melt through vegetation and pushed them into the loops and grabbed another one of the corrosive bottles, and tossed up in the air where it flipped and she caught it again, then extended her hand to Abra.
"Enjoy, it takes a while to make a batch so you better not waste it."

The bar door was slammed open as he sprinted out. He would retrieve the skull later, right now he had a quest to join. Once again he was confounded by his lack of Saurian. All the signs were written in the language, and he didn't know which way to go. Luckily, every village has a similar-looking gathering hall, he just had to find it. It was only after running around almost the whole village that he spotted it. Crashing through the door with baely five seconds to spare, he took a moment to catch his breath before unslinging his hammer for a couple of practice swings. It whistled through the air as he swung left, then right, and finally downards. He checked its motion just before it hit the floor, returning it to his back.
"Right, I'm ready.", he said to no-one in particular, "Where are we going?"

"Well, I might, if I knew where we were going. I don't read Saurian. Either way, I need the excercise. A fat hunter is a dead hunter, as the saying goes." he replied. He was itching to get going, to be out of this village and doing something, even if it wasn't killing large monsters. Just to be way from the rest of civilisation for a while, where the only people around were those currently assembled. He took a quick glance at each of their armaments.
"Two bowguns and a bow", he muttered, "I guess I'll be doing all the manual labour.", then, loud enough for everyone to hear, "Well, by my reckoning those ten minutes for joiners are now up, so when do we get going?"
