Tristan reached up brushing away the tears in her eyes "Me and the wolf have been alone for a very long time, and in that time he has known nothing but anger and hatred. He is not used to spending his time with another person apart from me, so he's bound to be hostile to a new person. He may just want to make himself known to you, so you know that he is the boss. That kind of thing, the moon doesn't help either it aggravates the emotions, so happiness is replaced by anger, and love is replaced by hate. It's the werewolves curse"
Tristan softly stroked Mackenzie's cheek giving a comforting smile, his chest wounds healed quickly it was a perk of being so close to the moons rays.

He said and smiled softly as his wounds healed, still cupping her cheek. She placed her hand atop his as something occured to her.
"So If he hates me then..."Her voice trailed a bit. "If what you said is true...then you...must..."She couldn't finish, afraid she was jumping to conclusions, she knew she'd been feeling something from the moment they met, as odd as it sounded. It wasn't fear that made her help him, she could have used any spell to get him out, She had dried wolfsbane in the pantry but no, she opted to remove a bullet from his arm. It made no sense to her then but now....

Tristan smiled up at her as she stumbled over her words, he had never understood werewolf feelings even as a child when his parents explained how they had come to meet.
Tristan pulled his hand away from Mackenzie's cheek pushing himself up on his arms he spoke " I suppose you've put a spell on me" he laughed softly and leaned forward pressing his lips againsts Mackenzie's softly.

She was finally not alone anymore. All her life, she never felt she belong, moving from place to place, her witchy ways, she never fit, but now, she knew where she belonged and it was right here with him.

The last few days had gone really well, Tristan and Mackenzie had become increasingly close and the Wolf had laid off injuring Tristan. He had been a little snappy due to the moon being a day away. Tristan had slept on and off for a few hours each day which gave him a brief rest, he spent most nights watching the forest for any movement.
This morning was like any other, Tristan awoke and make a hearty breakfast for himself and a smaller one for Mackenzie. He ate quickly and washed up his plate. Slipping on his boots he opened the front door taking in the morning air " Kenzie! I'm going for a run. Breakfast is ready for you when you want it. See you soon" Giving his legs a small stretch he started off on his run.
Meanwhile hidden well under the leaves and trees a group of hunters waited for the wolf to get a good distance away for the witch's house before they moved in. One of the group signaled that he had gone a sufficient distance away and the group emerged from the trees.
The door was unlocked and the group moved silently into the home, guns drawn and loaded. The head hunter partially recovered from his almost blindness from the last encounter with the witch and wolf. Pulling out his pistol he stood waiting for the witch to emerge.
( feel free to take charge of the hunters since they're NPC's anyway)

The wolf eased up on Tristan and everything seems calm.
This morning, Mackenzie had finished showering and had been brushing out her hair in the mirror when she noticed something odd about her reflection.
An odd yellow glow shined behind the condensation.
Quickly she wiped the mirror, and only seen her brown eyes where the yellow was.
"Kenzie! I'm going for a run. Breakfast is ready for you when you want it. See you soon!" Tristan called breaking Mackenzie out of her trance. "Kay! Be careful!" She called and finished brushing her hair.
Soon she made her way downstairs, still wrapped in her robe. She took a whiff of the breakfast Tristan had prepared. She could swear she could smell each and every seasoning.
She sat at the table and was about to eat when she heard something. It was faint but enough to get her up.
She looked over at the front door and made her way into the living room.
Crash!
Before she knew what happened, the living room window shattered, as a cylinder rolled on to the floor. Mackenzie's eyes widened as the can opened and let off a nauseous gas. Coughing, she tried to make her way to the back door but her path was blocked by an army of men.
Mackenzie's vision blurred. "Tristan!!" She called but she knew he was long gone.
"Hurts doesn't."
Mackenzie's eyes burned but she looked up at the man realized who he was.
"You..."
Mackenzie was then snatched by her hair, but she could hardly see to defend herself. "Atghis" She whispered, her eyes sharpening so she could see clearly. The hunter seemed to expect this.
"Look at me, you little bitch. You're gonna pay for what you did to my eyes and you're little boyfriend is gonna watch..." He said and began choking Mackenzie until she went limp in his arms.
"Let's go." the hunter told the others with Mackenzie limp in his arms.
The others filed out while he allowed Mackenzie's legs drag on the floor, so Tristan would be able to track her...just like he wanted.

He came to the house and immediately burst through the open door " Kenzie! " he called out running upstairs to check if she was there. Rushing downstairs he saw the empty gas canister, he had come into contact with these during his teenage years. The gas burnt the back on the throat and blurred the vision, if you hung around that long that is.
Tristan sniffed quickly picking out Mackenzie's scent as well as the all familiar scent of hunters. Growling deeply he ran after the scent, his eyes scanning the forest line incase he was to be ambushed, but since they had got Mackenzie they wanted him so they wouldn't attack just yet. After an hour of searching he came across a bunker with a few windows and a large steel door which was guarded by two armed guards.
Moving quietly he tackled both of the men at once, stunning them both, Tristan picked up one of the men and threw him through the window. Knocking out the other guard he climbed through the window his eyes adjusting to the dark then he saw her. Mackenzie was tied to a chair a bright light hanging above her.
He took a step forward and was surrounded by a group of men, a rope was wrapped around his neck he reached up and pulled the rope down sharply causing the man holding it to flip forward. A heavy duty chain was lashed around his legs bringing his down as well as another chain wrapping his arms down to a held point in the floor. He pulled againsts the chains they were strong but so was he. Growling loudly one of the chains holding his arms crumbled under the pressure as he pulled against it. A kick to the head dazed his vision as well as a punch to his chest and stomach winded him. Growling deeply he stayed still his eyes watching Mackenzie.

Her head was pounding and her throat was sore. She heard shuffling just before her and slowly looked up. Her vision was blurred and with the light hanging above her, everything else was dark.
Then she heard an all too familiar growling, with the shuffling of chains. It caused her to look down to find she herself was tied to a chair. Her arms bound at her side.
"Good, you're awake."
Mackenzie turned to see the head hunter walking forward into the light. His face was horribly disfigured now, he used to be quite handsome but now.... she knew wanted revenge.
Mackenzie tensed. "We weren't after you." He began. "We honestly didn't even know you existed, you should have just let us, take him." He walked up to her and tore open her robe thankfully, as odd as that sounds, the ropes that held her were wrapped around her entire torso so the robe only fell down her arms. "Go to hell!" Mackenzie barked, a low growl in her voice.
"She's a pretty one, Wolf." The hunter went on, walking behind her, brushing his hand against her face, Mackenzie turned her head away. "I can see why you stuck around." He said sliding his hands down her almost bare chest and then grabbed Mackenzie's hair amd yanked her head back violently. Mackenzie closed her mouth to bit back a whimper. "It's a shame, really, the things I'm going to do to her pretty face while you watch." He hissed and Mackenzie felt something strange. The world slowed around her as she was suddenly keenly aware of the Full Moon outside.
The hunter reached down and pressed his lips roughly against hers. Mackenzie's eyes widened and she tried to move away but
Ayb eht thgil fo Selene....
A voice, which sounded oddly like her own, yet not spoke in her mind. "Ouy era eht flow, I ma Selene,"
"Selene...Mother Luna..."
The hunter pulled away and Mackenzie seemed intranced as he released her hair and her head lollied forward. He smirked.
"First, Wolf, I'm going to take her eyes...and then, I'm going to make her listen to you scream while we skin you alive..."
"O Mater Luna....evig em ruoy tghil."
Mackenzie spoke, her eyes glowing bright behind her dark hair. The hunter turned around and looked worried some but laughed it off. "Your magic won't help you, Little Witch."
"Don't be so sure." She growled and in an amazing feat of strength, stood up and broke free of the ropes.
"You're going to make me kill you." The head hunter said. Mackenzie darted forward at a blinding speed, her eyes glowing like the moon itself, and caught the Hunter by the throat, and forced him against the metal wall. "Look!" She told him and he was captured in the light of her eyes. Suddenly, he began whimpering, then shreiking. Mackenzie herself didn't know what he saw but then again, she wasn't really there...
The Hunter crumbled to the floor and babbling on like a madman.
"Lunatic..." She smirked and turned to the other men who watched in horror. "Fire!" Soon the men fired on her, with all they had and Mackenzie dodged and advanced, killing hunter after hunter until finally a bullet pierced her shoulder, sending her backward. The bullet burned her skin and she grimaced and growled like a feral animal.
"Helll HQ, This is Marquez, we need back up....I don't know what the hell is going on but everyone's down, Briggs is....He's gone crazy...."
the remaining hunter raved over a phone, while Mackenzie lay on her back with a silver bullet in her shoulder.
Her eyes fell on Tristan, honestly she couldn't really tell him from any other but she sensed the wolf and that's who she wanted.
"Esaeler!" she whispered and Tristan's chained shattered, just before she blacked out, her moon colored eyes fading.

The rays of the moon were upon him, black fur erupted from his skin his clothes ripping as his muscles grew in size, his jaw elongated and his teeth became fangs. Even though the chains crumbled around his he could have pulled the chains away easily with the help of the wolfs strength. He growled deeply as he saw Mackenzie get hit by a bullet, diving on the hunter responsible for shooting her bit deeply into the hunters neck snapping it in half.
Rushing to Mackenzie the wolf sniffed quickly looking at the bullet wound, licking the outside clean he looked at the wound the bullet was pretty close to the top of the skin. Silver bullets traveled fast but they didn't make a dent in the flesh, using his claw he dug out the bullet dropping it to the floor and pushing it away. Licking the wound clean so it would heal quicker, picking up Mackenzie with his paws he placed her on his back. He thought about where they could go, they couldn't go back to the house it would be on watch. He had an idea where to go.
He walked for a while before he came to his destination, pushing past the hanging moss in front of the cave entrance. Coming to a larger cave he placed Mackenzie on the floor, dragging over some dry branches he scraped his claws on the walls of the cave sparking and lighting the branches into a warm fire. He lay next to Mackenzie his arm around her, it wasn't long before the fur melted away and he was human again. Tristan was proud of the wolf for helping Mackenzie since they had both had feelings for her. He glanced around the cave looking at the vicious scratch marks on the wall from the aggression of the wolf and Tristan growing up it wasn't exactly homey but it would do for the night.

She looked down finding a furred arm wrapped around her. She turned her head and at first she wqs nervous but then she smiled, there was only one wolf she knew.
"Tristan," She whispered, turning to face him. She gave a small kiss to his cold nose and brushed back his fur.
She used to be afraid of the wolf. As much as she had such strong feelings for Tristan, she never cared for the wolf but suddenly, a part of her held feelings for it too.
"Tristan....What am I doing out here?" She asked, not really minding but the last thing she remembered was eating breakfast at home.

"Tristan....What am I doing out here?"
Tristan nuzzled Mackenzie's face and spoke " Hunters came and took you away, as a way to get me to them. I came and tried to get you out, your fought some of them off yourself. You got hit by a silver bullet, I managed to get it out before it became damaging to you. Then I took your here this is where I stay most of the time except in the winter when a bear friend of mine has it for hibernation"
He looked to. The mouth of the cave and spoke " the sun will be up soon and I'll be normal again, I don't think we can go back to the house they will defiantly be watching. Do you know of anywhere we can be in hiding?"

Mackenzie blinked trying to take it all in.
"The sun will be up soon and I'll be normal again. I don't think we can go back to the house they will definitely be watching. Do you know of anywhere we can be in hiding?"
Mackenzie thought for a moment. "Sorta. See the house is really old. Centuries. It has underground passages and basements where Witches would stay to hid from witch hunters during thr 1600's. We can hide down there. It's actually pretty cozy, some of the rooms are finished and there are different accesses from the forest. I remember a few of them." She said and a thought occured to her.
"Wait, Silver?!" She gasped. Suddenly it all made alot of sense. Why she couldn't remember a thing, why he said she took out a few of them herself when just a few weeks ago she couldn't fight off one man and why her emotions had been a little haywire.
"You mean...I'm...?"
Setting

Tristan thought, it would be better to live in a house than a cave, it would be warmer and much safer from the hunters although Tristan knew that this wasn't the end, the hunters now knew that Mackenzie was a hybrid and she would be of equal value of capture.
"Wait, Silver?! You mean...I'm...?"
Tristan nodded " yes and I'm so sorry...I didn't want no harm to come to you...even if it was from my hand. The wolf blood has mixed with your witch blood creating a mix of the two." He licked the reddened scars on her arm with his tongue, the wolf form of kissing them better. " You won't change but you will have strength and senses of a wolf, it's the better form of the two, it's less painful. I am so sorry.." His voice trailed off his head resting on his arm staring off into the distance.
A beam of light shone through the entrance of the cave, the wolf howled slightly and the fur melted away back into Tristan's human form. Tristan yawned lightly shaking his head his eyes turning back to the original colour.

"You won't change but you will have strength and senses of a wolf. It's the better form of the two. It's less painful. I am so sorry..." He said and She wouldn't have minded so bad if she were like him but she wasn't. Atleast that way she would have been able to run with him, go through the change together but no.
She held back her tears as the sunlight shined through, the fur on his body, melting away revealing human skin underneath. Mackenzie crawled over to him, gently turned his head towards her and kissed him deeply.
"We'll get through this." She said, trying to convince herself.
"I have you, so I'll be okay" She said and actually believed it.

"We'll get through this. I have you, so I'll be okay"
Tristan smiled and kissed her head softly " and I promise to keep you safe, if I have to move the earth and trees, I will be here" he held her for a while his fingers playing with her hair. They would have to move eventually, even though Tristan didn't want to he could have spent all day holding her. " how far is this house you mentioned? Could we get there tonight? I have some spare clothes you can use somewhere" he let go of her and stood up he walked over to a pile of rocks moving them away to reveal a wooden box. He pulled out a large t shirt and shorts for himself and a smaller set for Mackenzie.
Getting dressed he spoke " if you are hungry, I can get you some food, but I'm afraid it'll only be a rabbit. Unless you can't hold out till we get the place"

After a moment, Tristan felt it was time to go. Mackenzie would much rather stay in his arms.
"Where is this house you mentioned? Could we get there tonight? I have some spare clothes you can use somewhere." He said and she thought.
"Well it's the same house --Thank you-, Just underneath it. It depends on how far we are from the house." She said as he handed her her clothes. Her robe was torn asunder and skin was beginning to peek from underneath.
She turned away from him and slipped on the shorts, then removing the robe entirely, she was distracted by the bruise on her shoulder.
"If you are hungry, I can get you some food but I'm afraid it'll only be a rabbit. Unless you can't hold out til we get to the place."
Mackenzie was only half listening, not the least bit concerned that he was directly behind her, while she was naked from the waist up . "Mhm..." She murmered as she touched the bruise that was slowly fading away.
"Werewolf....hybrid?" She thought to herself. It was daunting really, her life had been ordinary, save for the witchcraft, but now...all of that normality is gone and the worst part, she didn't remember a thing.
Tears fell down her face and rolled down her chest.
She didn't want to run forever... she wanted them all dead...

He turned around although keeping his eyes to the floor, he wrapped his arms around her kissing her shoulder and neck softly " Hey...it's okay...we will get through this...I will teach you all I know and the wolf will help too" he said softly. He would do everything he could to make Mackenzie's transition into werewolf culture more comfortable.

He said softly, kissing up her neck and shoulder.
Mackenzie was quiet for a moment.
"I'm not like you, Tristan....I'm something else, I don't even have a wolf..." She said. "I wish I was like you....but I'm not...I'm--" Mackenzie's clenched her fists as a word from her childhood floated through her mind.
Freak...
"What's going to happen the next full moon?" She asked him rhetorically.
"What if I hurt you?" she said and turned to him, and slipped her arms around him, covering herself with his chest. "Tristan, I'm terrified."
Setting

Tristan understood her worry and panic as she tried to grasp the concept of this new life.
"What's going to happen the next full moon?" She asked him rhetorically. Of course Tristan had no idea what would happen this kind of hybrid was unheard of. At least to him anyway.
"What if I hurt you?" she said and turned to him, and slipped her arms around him. He rubbed her back softly with his hands, rocking her from side to side. Something his mother used to do. "Tristan, I'm terrified."
He sighed and spoke " I have no idea what's going to happen, and I know your scared. The day I meet my wolf was a scary experience but also a comforting one too. I assure you that you can't hurt me any more than I've been hurt. But you need to remain yourself never let the wolf change who you are. Your kind and considerate and one of the most beautiful girls I have ever met" he said kissing her briefly before adding. " never change...got that ?" He said smiling.

He said smiling and Mackenzie nodded.
" I wish I could remember what happened last night....then maybe..."
She looked up at Tristan, her eyes finding his. " I love you, Tristan" She said, her voice shaking a bit. "No matter what happens, I love you."

" I love you, Tristan, No matter what happens, I love you."
Tristan smiled and spoke " I love you too, even if my heart stop beating even if we are separated I will still love you." Tristan held her close to him kissing her passionately.
" You should get dressed, you'll catch a cold being half naked in a cave"

He said before pulling her close and kissing her deeply. Mackenzie's eyes closed as she returned his kiss, feeling safe in his arms.
If only she could stay here, nothing would hurt her here.
After a moment, he broke the kiss and said. "You should get dressed, you'll catch a cold being half naked in a cave."
Mackenzie smiled but oddly didn't blush, she moved away from him and pulled on her top.
It hung loosely on her tiny frame but it would do for now.
She looked up at him and felt a strange urge but resisted it for now. "I'm ready." She said softly.

" Come on then we'll see if we can sniff out the place. I don't think we can really go back to your house, the hunters will expect us to go there. Have you noticed your senses tuning in yet? What can you smell?"
He took her hand and lead her out of the cave into the sunlight, the trees and grass were alive with colours a light sprinkle of dew lay on the blades of grass. Tristan sniffed quickly picking up the nearby scents of rabbits and deer as well as the scents of nearby herbs and plants. He turned to Mackenize and tilted his head waiting to see what she could pick up. It would be strange teaching Mackenzie werewolf habits, but it was definatley something new.

He took her hand and walked her outside, she blocked like light with her hand.
Suddenly, her ears seemed to perk up. every bird chirp, every twig snap, every russel of leaves were pronounced to her now, then at the same time, her different scents flooded her lungs, making her choke. "Tristan!" She screamed clutching her head and crumbling to her knees. " I...It's too bright, too loud, make it stop!" She whimpered, closing her eyes tight. " Make it stop..."

Tristan knelt down slowly as Mackenzie seemed to panic about the sounds and smells around her, lifting his hands up he placed his hands over her ears just light enough so she could hear him and his thumbs gently over her eyes. Massaging her scalp softly he spoke quietly " Now I want you to listen to only my voice, you need to focus your mind and breath through your nose, since I'm right in front of you you'll just smell me okay?" He slowly removed his hands from her head and held her hands. " just stay with me you'll be fine" he smiled and lead her through the forest.
