|Personality|
Ambitious || Whimsical || Unpredictable || Boisterous || Grand
Diego is not the typical slytherin student. He is ambitious and works hard for what he wants. He knows what he wants and where and when he wants it as well as a strong desire and determination to succeed. He rarely gives in until he has attained what he wants though he does know when he goes too far and tries to avoid that as best as possible, just in case it gets too out of hand. He is whimsical and likes to think and explore things. He enjoys trying to see what's going on with things and likes to ask questions and imagine, often outside of the box.

Diego is unpredictable and though he is often enjoyed by his peers (considering he's not a stereotypical slytherin), Diego cannot help but try to be the center of attention. He has done pranks in and around class in order to gain attention, yet knows how often to do it to avoid getting people to think he is just manipulating them. He hates the world manipulation and tries not to do it as much as possible though sometimes he does, especially when he really wants something yet doesn't know how else to get it.

Diego is a positive and cheery person. An extrovert, he still prefers only his friends and avoids strangers unless they approach him. He is often considered too cheerful though when people seem to get annoyed, he begins to turn it down to avoid loosing friends or getting on peoples nerves. However, one thing Diego cannot turn down is his grandness. He is one to always make things big and doesn't have a "normal entrance" to anything. Whatever he enters or begins, he makes a grand entrance, may tone it down in the middle, then a grand exit before he is satisfied he has done his job.

|History|
Diego was born in the United States in New York City. His mother and father were both muggles though his family was aware of the wizarding world because of Diego's aunts and uncles. His parents had been born into families that occasionally had a wizard or witch and both had at least one sibling who was a part of the wizarding world. Diego's parents allowed him to learn a lot from their families in order to allow Diego to enjoy his own world and not be so left out when the time came to send him to school, as both knew of Hogwarts and Diego's need to go in order to learn to control and use his magic in a proper and prosperous way.

Both Diego's parents were quite steady and careful people. They are both soft spoken and gentle with everything, not having a mean bone in their body. Diego grew up with two sisters who were younger, both witches too. Diego often found himself playing with friends and getting hurt because they did not like the way he was or played. Diego discovered the best way to keep people around was to make friends that wanted to be around you. Diego is nothing like he acts, only acting the way he does so he has friends, even avoiding his glasses as he knows people tend to stereotype and would look at him differently even though it made his vision worse.

Diego began making friends and keeping them as he accidentally manipulated them and himself in order to fit in better so he didn't feel left out. Though he doesn't like the way he acts, he's grown to accept it and finds he doesn't hate it. He just wishes he could find someone that wouldn't change their feelings or thoughts about Diego if they were to discover what he was truly like.

Gryffindor Head Girl Muggleborn Transfer from Fukuoka Daiichi Seventh Year Dialogue Color Code: #800000
ImageImage
This year, unlike any other year, Acacia was getting herself ready for magic school. Though of course instead of attending Fukuoka Daiichi, she'll be one of the newest students at Hogwarts. Her father received a better job back in London, England, so they had to move from Asia back to her hometown. It's been almost fifteen years since she's been here and she doesn't remember anything about London. It was definitely at huge culture shock, that's for sure. Although, Acacia didn't seem to mind it in London, the only thing she hates about it is that on her last year, she will be the new kid and not just any new kid, the new muggleborn.

Acacia heard a few stories about Hogwarts, it being filled with Death Eaters and vicious pure bloods who hate muggleborns and half bloods just because they're not pure. There were these people back at Fukuoka Daiichi as well, but they were never has vicious as the ones at Hogwarts.

With a sigh, she ran through the platform wall to get to platform 9 3/4 before boarding the train. She placed Ginger in the storage area with the rest of the pets and left her luggage right beside Ginger. "Just a few hours and I'll be back. You be good now," she stated to her bird before starting to look for an empty compartment. Seeing as how she hadn't had any friends and was unsure of who she would be asking to sit with if she tried right now, she figured she would rather sit alone. Finally she found one and she took a seat as she stared out the window.

Head of Ravenclaw Magical Creatures Professor Pure Blood Dialogue Color Code: #9F000F

Ariel couldn't believe it was the beginning of another new year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was just starting to enjoy his summer and now he had to go back to work and teach a bunch of spoiled, know it all students. Of course he was always polite to them when they obeyed the rules of the school and his class, but other than that he didn't really want to be around them. The only reason why he was is because the headmaster, Sera Lockhart wanted him to teach and every year she asked him to stay. He couldn't just tell her no. As long as he didn't have to be the head of Slytherin...ever, he would be fine.

With an exaggerated sigh he took a seat in one of the professor's compartments and began to pet Blaze, his gorgeous black feline as he looked out the window. He could see the fog rising up from the trees and nature's most precious animals scrimmaging around, looking for food or running for their lives from the predators. Animals were intriguing creatures, whether magical or not. Ever since he was a child he enjoyed studying animals and trying to understand their behaviors. As a student, he was the smartest in his magical creatures class, which it turn caused him to receive the job as the professor of that class.

The first year he started teaching he wanted to give it a shot and came to find that it was very stressful, especially when having to deal with all of the rotten brats who think they can just do whatever they want and get away with it. But this year...he prayed this year would be a whole lot better. Though part of him had a feeling it wasn't going to be. Adriel heard whispers along the streets of Diagon Alley over the summer and that very morning about Death Eaters coming back to Hogwarts. He just hoped this rumor wasn't true. Hogwarts definitely didn't need to go through another battle in order to save the school and the entire magical world for that matter. That was something he wasn't up for to begin with. But if it happened, he knew it would be ready.

Hufflepuff Half Blood Sixth Year Dialogue Color Code: seagreen
ImageImage
Nico was boarding the train to Hogwarts for the sixth time in a row. He couldn't believe that he had one more year after this and his Hogwarts life would be over, unless he returned as a professor. Though once he boarded the train, he immediately began to look for a compartment and hope that he would be able to see his fellow Hufflepuffs and see Michaela Fowler and Colton Valenti. Nico wasn't all that much of a social person, but when it came to people he seemed to enjoy being around, that was definitely Michaela and Colton. Many people seem to get on Colton and Nico about hanging out with each other, merely because Colton is a pure blood and Nico is a half blood. Though honestly, that doesn't matter to him. As for Colton, he had no idea if it did or not. But if it did matter to him, then he couldn't help but wonder what Colton was doing hanging out with a half blood if he was prejudice against half bloods and muggleborns.

Nico just erased the thoughts from his head as he sat down. He slouched in the seat and folded his arms over his chest as he laid his head back against the seat and closed his eyes. The night before he hadn't been able to get very much sleep because he was just too excited that he was going to be going back to Hogwarts. But now that he was on his way, the deprivation of sleep has definitely caught up with him.

Gryffindor Quidditch Captain || Halfblood || Sixth Year || Dialogue Color Code: #C74B25

ImageImage

Kai walked towards the train station with both his mother and father behind him. His father carried his trunk while his mother carried the cage which held Teely in it. Kai had his case for his broomstick, with the broomstick, inside. They made their way to the entrance of the train station, Kai and his father in deep conversation about the English quidditch team and whether or not Kai would be able to attend the next World Quidditch Tournament. It was one of his favorite things in the world considering there were people from all over the world.

"Okay, so, this year, we will try to see if we can come see one of the matches. If you're going to score points this year, remember what we worked on. Good like finding new players," His father said as they walked into the station and towards platform 9 and 10. "Thanks dad, we have a bunch of second years that had tried out last year and didn't make it because of a few seventh years that had been holding out on us," Kai stated, his face genuine at the thought of finding players that would be excited. They had nearly won last year, they had been so close, in the final game, the other team had gotten the snitch and the game ended in less than an hour. It was ridiculous. Kai couldn't believe it still.

"And don't forget to study Kaito, promise me you'll aim for higher marks, especially in potions," His mother spoke up from where she was on Kai's other side. He rolled his eyes at the use of his full name before he received a nudge from his father giving him a look that made Kai stifle a laugh. Kai was passing, his father only cared about that, his mother being a teacher, wanted perfect if possible.

The group silenced as they approached the platform. Teely opened her mouth as if to scream though it was silent thanks to a spell Kai's father had placed on the bird's cage so they wouldn't receive extremely strange looks. They all walked through the platform right after a family with a son who was in slytherin. Kai and his family made their way through the crowd, Kai and his father making their way on to drop his stuff off before going back off to be with his mother. The family ignored a few of the negative and disgusted looks that came their way as they said their goodbyes.

"Wand?" Kai's mother asked. Kai nodded with a smile as she continued to list off things he would need. "And you'll send Teely if you need anything? If something is happening?" She asked as her eyes began to tear up. Kai nodded and smiled as he gave his slightly shorter mother a hug. "I promise, I'll let you know if anything happens," He says as he pulls back to look at her. "Alright, just... don't get hurt while flying. Don't forget to send an owl for anything, even to just say hello," She says as she gives Kai a pat on the shoulder before Kai's father pulls him into a hug. "Be careful, play safe, and if I hear that you ever are unsportsmanlike, I will personally send the howler. Got it?" Kai's father asked with a smile. Kai had only ever lost his temper on the field once. He would never do it again after the embarrassment his father had given him when he had sent a howler his first year of playing on the Gryffindor team. Kai nodded his understanding as he gave each one more hug, then boarded the train.

Kai went to the bathroom on the train to change into his robes, stuffing the normal clothing into a bag. As he walked down the hall, he pinned the Quidditch Captain pin onto his robes, knowing where it went since he had been the captain for three years now. Kai caught sight of a few kids he knew including Nico Fitzgerald, Micheala Fowler, and Diego Jordan. He also caught sight of a red head that he didn't know. He paused in each doorway he saw people he knew, giving a small wave and greeting.

"Nico, thought about playing quidditch this year? Odette is really cool," Kai stated with an air of nonchalance before giving a wave and moving on down the train a bit. He paused in the doorway of one car that had Micheala and the girl he didn't know in it. "Hello Michaela, and... you I don't know. My name's Kai Bolton, I don't think I've actually seen you before... New?" Kai asked.

One of his friends came up behind him, tapping on Kai's shoulder at the moment. "Kai, come on, I heard Theo brought in one of his father's oldest broomsticks. It's a nimbus one," He said as he pulled on Kai's robes. "Alright, I'm coming. It was nice to meet you," Kai stated to the new girl before giving a wave to both Michaela and the new girl a wave before going with his friend to find Theo.

Upon discovering the sixth year gryffindor quidditch player, Kai smiled at the broomstick. It was a piece of work, older, probably not able to do anything close to the newest broomsticks. Kai's father had gotten him the newest just because Kai's father was such a quidditch fanatic. He had been an English quidditch team coach at one point and wanted nothing more for his son to be on the English quidditch team too, so long as that's what he wanted, and it was exactly what Kai wanted.

After the train had gotten well on it's way, Kai left the cart behind, going to find an empty one just for the sake of beginning his studies. One of his teachers had given him an assignment over the summer that he had to put final touches onto. He took out the parchment from his bag and tried to double check what he had written on it in comparison to that of a book. Most people didn't see Kai as a book and studying guy, but when one had a difficult time in classes and couldn't play quidditch (under his mother's rule) unless he had good grade, one studied. He sat, alone in his train cart room, hearing a few people passing by as he put the book aside and looked out the window, wanting to find friends but wanting to enjoy one of the last train rides to Hogwarts he'd ever have.

Head Boy || Muggleborn || Seventh Year || Dialogue Color Code: #4F7AAD

Diego tugged on his sisters braids as he knelt before them near the train to Hogwarts. They had left early in the morning from where his family lived in order to make it to the station on time. He had gone to Diagon Alley only yesterday, waiting until the last moment. He had already gone onto the train and changed into his robes too, his head boy badge displayed on his robes though it wasn't necessarily because he was proud of it so much as it was something he had to wear. He liked being head boy, it gave perks that others didn't. People would be fools not to accept the opportunity to have perks.

"Dei-dei, is Hogwarts anything like King Cove at all?" Diego's littlest twin sister asked. The other one spoke up a moment later, asking, "will you be home for Christmas?" He nodded with a smile. "Of course, it's just grander and has more secrets to discover. You two will like it when you go too, and I'll fly home for Christmas so we can skate on Rockefeller like always," Diego said as he gave both a hug before standing and going to his parents. "I'll see you at Christmas. I love you both," He said to them. His mother was beginning to tear up while his father could only manage a smile. The two whispered I love yous back, then waved to him as he walked to the train which was announcing it was time to board.

Diego waved as he stood near the door, then moved inside to go find a cart. He spotted the twin Ravenclaws in one cart and opened the door, motioning to the seat across from them. "Mind if I join you captain?"
Diego asked with a smile. He played quidditch for Slytherin, McKenna Posey being his captain. He was not nearly as good, but he could maneuver better than a lot of Slytherin which was why he was on the team.

"Ready for the season this year? Our last year?" Diego asked, his excitement and awe at the idea mixing in his tone though not obnoxiously so, like the Gryffindor quidditch captain, Kai, usually had. Diego liked Kai, he just liked some people better than Kai, nothing against him at all. He leaned in the doorway at the moment, smiling at the twins in a way most slytherins were often reluctant to do.

Ethan was asleep with his backside leaning up against the side of Aiden's arm as he listened to loud music from the headphones connected to his phone as he was covered under a large blanket. Aiden looked over to the door as Diego opened it and stood at it, "Mind if I join you captain?" Aiden smiled at him, "No problem, just don't provoke Ethan. He'll pounce on you and gauge your eyes out." He laughed before Diego sat down in the vacant seat on the other side of Aiden and Ethan. "Ready for the season this year? Our last year?" Aiden stopped for a few seconds before saying anything, "Yeah. I am. Too bad we have to leave Hogwarts, I'll miss it, you know?" As he said that, an familiar face of a brunette female burst into the carriage, "Uh... hi?" Aiden quietly chuckled. "Hi. Sorry for barging in like that. but, can I sit here with you guys?" Aiden smiled at the girl, "Of course, no problem." He gestured to the final seat beside Diego. "Are you new to the school? Because, I can't say I have seen your face anywhere before. Anyway, I'm Aiden, and this... terrifying of a specimen, is my twin brother, Ethan. Nice to meet you." Aiden smiled at her as he put out his hand for a shake.

Ravenclaw - Sixth Year - Half-blood - Transfer student from King Cove (America) - #D66E5A

After doing a mental victory dance because her fellow classmates had let her sit inside with them and not awkwardly alone in another compartment (even if all of them where boys and it was starting to make Brinley nervous), she sat down across from the twins and beside another guy she hadn't noticed was there with them too.

"Are you new to the school? Because, I can't say I have seen your face anywhere before. Anyway, I'm Aiden, and this... terrifying of a specimen, is my twin brother, Ethan. Nice to meet you." one of the twins said. It was going to be hard distinguishing them from one another, but life was never easy and it loved messing with her. "My name's Brinley, and yep," she answered popping the 'p', "I just transferred from King Cove, in the lovely sunny land of the United States of America."

Brinley was glad that she was making acquaintances, it never really happened at her old school. Maybe Hogwarts would be different.

Myrra and Ayria found themselves running for the sake of their education, just like every single year before now. Ayria always made the punctual and education-loving Myrra late, much to the older twin's constant aggravation. The two made it just in time to board the train, and went their separate ways once on board. Myrra was a Ravenclaw, Head girl to be quite exact.. and Ayria was a Hufflepuff. Hogwarts separated these girls for the first time, and they were simply never as close as they were before their enrollment. Even living together during the summer didn't make Myrra feel any closer to her sister. Ayria was like a stranger to her these days, and there was definitely something going on with her, but Myrra couldn't place her finger on it. It was irritating, but also intriguing at the same time. Mysteries were meant to be solved.. That was what she always told herself, but Ayria never seemed to leave any clues behind. She didn't even know where to begin. How would she unravel her sister's strange behavior, if her sister didn't throw her a bone every now and then? Whatever was going on, Ayria was being tedious about covering it up, and tedious was one word that definitely didn't describe Ayria.

Myrra shuffled through the train, captured in her own thoughts when she finally landed her hand on a door. She waited until there was no annoying chatter, and opened the door to find none other than a close friend of her's, Kai Bolton. Then her eyes fell on the discarded book laying at his side. Her left brow quirked in curiosity, and she immediately sat across from him, without asking for permission, "Kai Bolton beats me to studying? This is by far a first. Who has witnessed this? I have a reputation to defend after all." She slightly teased, careful to keep her mature and in charge attitude. Sure, Kai was a friend of her's, but she couldn't drop her guard. She had to be professional regardless of their friendship, for more reasons than one.

"Either I'm later than I thought, or you're stepping up your game." She added, taking her long brown hair in both of her hands, maneuvering it around until it was ready to be tied in a high pony. She wiggled the hair tie off of her left wrist and quickly wrapped it around her hair three times before allowing the strands to fall free. She couldn't let Kai beat her, so instead, she decided to join him. She held her hand out, waiting for him to pass her the book, "What subject are you having trouble with? I don't mind helping, you're as much of a threat to my academic rankings as I am to your Quidditch season." She inquired with a kind and gentle smile. As a Ravenclaw, especially the Head Girl, Myrra enjoyed gaining knowledge, and of course sharing it with others. Studying was oddly one of her pleasures and she did not mind helping another, so long as they were ready to seriously hit the books. Though it wasn't often she extended her help toward another Ravenclaw student. She was in undying competition with those she deemed academic rivals and she would not lend them a hand if her own life depended on it.

"Besides, if you can't play, then Ravenclaw will get a handicap and I can't allow that to happen." She stated with a sigh. Despite being purely academic, she did show pride in her house and there was no way she would let Slytherin get the upper hand on Gryffindor if she could help it. She hated it when Ravenclaw lost, especially to Hufflepuff or Slytherin. She didn't like losing period, but at least she could blame it on the sports know-how. Most Gryffindors were action driven rather than academically, "There is no way that Gryffindor is losing to Slytherin. That would be like us handing the win to Hufflepuff, we'd never hear the end of it. Both of our houses are known for their competitive nature, so they should go against each other in the end."

Image
Image

She hated making Myrra late, but it was just in Ayria's system to wake up late. She was born late, and was often late for her classes. She was a very...odd... Hufflepuff. She almost wondered if she'd been sorted into the right house at all. She made her way through the train, opening the first door she found intriguing. She noticed two familiar faces, Ethan and Aiden Parker. Another boy was also familiar, and her almost glued on smile wore off. Diego Jordan? Slytherin Head boy? She'd seen him around before, but she never really spoke to him so far. She tried to evade the "Head Boy" and "Head Girl" crowd. Rules, rules, rules.. yawn. Though before her fight or flight instincts kicked in and had her bolting out of the room, Ayria noticed that there was another girl there too, but she was certain that she'd never seen her before. Well this is interesting, just enough reason to stick around for a bit.

"Mind if I join you? Everywhere before this has been pretty full, I'm Ayria Blake, a seventh year Hufflepuff. You are..?" She smiled, towards the girl of the group, but her eyes quickly returned to the twin boys. The two were together, the complete opposite of her and Myrra. Sometimes people often forgot that she had a twin because the two kept such a constant distance. She was a bit envious of these two, they didn't seem to have the same complications, well, of course they didn't.

"You two are joined at the hip again I see. I guess it's kind of adorable in this light. Kind of." She smirked a bit. Leaning against the doorway since she had not yet received permission to join the group. She decided to poke fun at the twins a little, seeing as Ethan was in the same house as her. She saw him around a lot, so he and his brother were the most comfortable people for her to converse with in the room, "Does it help you guys pick up girls..? I'm curious, me and Myrra haven't tried it before." She had to be a bit bitchy, because she couldn't let anyone get too close. If she made really good friends, or fell in love, it would only put them in danger. She got caught in the wrong kind of crowd a few years back and they were definitely a club you couldn't just leave. The only way someone stopped being a Death Eater was leaving in a body bag or being zapped into ashes, and her family and friends would quickly follow as punishment. She didn't feel like condemning everyone else for her poor decision, so here she was, running through the motions, but never settling down and letting herself root in any particular group of friends for more than a few days at a time. She was seen as very...fickle at school. She was like a gust of wind traveling through the student body. A lone wolf of sorts.

"So what are you lot up to..?

Head Boy || Mugglebron || Seventh Year || Dialogue Color Code: #4F7AAD

Diego had taken his seat when a girl appeared, one that he didn't know. Diego had smiled upon seeing Ethan asleep. Neither of the boys were a part of his house, but he was friends with both. He nodded when asked if he understand leaving Hogwarts was weird. It truly was. He had spent the past five years there, being a transfer from King Cove after his first year there. Diego looked up when a girl opened the door to their cabin. He gave Aiden a slight tilt of his head with a smile before scooting over to allow the girl plenty of room to sit down on the grand seat. "Hey,"
Diego said as he looked at the girl. She was a brunette, and looked pretty cute. Diego nodded in agreement with Aiden as he did the talking. He smiled with the little white insult towards his brother.

Diego gave a slight wave himself. "Hey, my name's Diego. I actually went to King Cove my first year," Diego stated with a smile as he leaned back comfortably but not awkwardly close to the girl. "Britain isn't that rainy compared to the US if you live in the right place. New York in the winter? Yeah... Crazy," Diego stated with an intake of breath between his teeth.

The door opened yet again and Ayria, a Hufflepuff that Diego kind of knew, walked in. "Go ahead, the more people the merrier," Diego stated. He then realized that this was Myrra Blake's twin sister. Diego wanted to say something about it not having anything to do with being twins that guys could pick up girls. There were other things people looked at, but knew that's not what anyone wanted to hear and bit it back, instead leaning back even further in a lazier fashion that made it clear he was interested in the coversation, skillfully hiding the fact that he was anything but interested.

"Talking about the upcoming quidditch season and the fact that Slythering is going to take the cup this year," Diego stated as he pretended to observe his nails in a normally vain way though anyone who knew them knew he was just messing around, while nobody knew he was pretending to mess around.

"How's it been with you? Enjoying summer?" Diego asked, appearing genuinely interested. He had only ever had one person figure him out, and that was someone he knew a long time ago. He did the act so much, it was basically his first personality and the real one was the second.

He wasn't like most head boys, he was smart and he was loved by teachers, yet he was laid back and didn't mind breaking a few rules once in a while.

After Aiden shook Brinley's hand she spoke to him, "My name's Brinley, and yep, I just transferred from King Cove, in the lovely sunny land of the United States of America." After Diego spoke, the door opened again, a girl stood there, Myrra Blake's twin sister, Ayria. Aiden didn't know her too well. "Mind if I join you?" Diego quickly answered, "Go ahead, the more people the merrier," Diego smiled. "Thank you, Diego, right?"Ayria tilted her head as she walked in, shutting the door behind her, but she didn't sit down just yet. "You two are joined at the hip again I see. I guess it's kind of adorable in this light. Kind of." Aiden chuckled as Ayria poked fun at him and Ethan, "Whatever." Another question spawned from Ayria, "Does it help you guys pick up girls..? I'm curious, me and Myrra haven't tried it before." Aiden chuckled again, "No. Apparently I'm too much of a nerd and Ethan's too weird to date any pretty girl we like. As embrassing as it sounds, both of us have never been on dates before." A small whisper came from Ethan, "Don't tell everybody that! And you wonder why we can't get any girls. You big freaking doof." A hand popped out of the blanket and quickly slapped him across the head. "Wait. You're awake?" Ethan pulled an 'are you serious?' face before saying, "Yes, Aiden. I've been awake for the past twenty minutes. I couldn't go to sleep over all your gibbering." Aiden sighed and rolled his eyes, "Just, shut up and go back to sleep." Aiden shoved Ethan's head back into the blanket. After that argument, Ayria spoke again, "So what are you lot up to..?" Aiden tried to think of something, but before he could speak, Diego did. "Talking about the upcoming quidditch season and the fact that Slytherin is going to take the cup this year," Aiden sighed and rolled his eyes, "Oh, here we go." He whispered to himself and Ethan chuckled. Ethan was a chaser for Hufflepuff, Aiden was Ravenclaw's seeker. Aiden could see the fire in Ayria's brown eyes at Diego's statement, "That was a bold statement. How do you figure? As Hufflepuff's Keeper, now I know to step up my game." Aiden smiled watching them... argue? He didn't know what it was, but it was entertaining. Diego decided to change the subject, "How's it been with you? Enjoying summer?" Aiden didn't speak again, Ayria did. "Learnt a new spell or two, spent some time out of town. The usual. The Blake family never goes anywhere interesting.. What about you guys? Let me live vicariously off of your vacations." She then looked at Brinley, "I want to hear about you first... if you don't mind, that is." Aiden looked at Brinley and smiled at her.

Dillion looked at Adriel as he started to speak after grabbing his flask. With the nod of his head, he grabbed his flask back and spoke. "Well, parents don't change even when we're all grown up." He chuckled slightly while taking a small sip from his flask before closing it and sitting it back in his inner jacket pocket. With a sigh, he answered Adriel's question just as the train started to move. "Well, besides sleeping with my neighbor..." He winked with another chuckle then continued on. "I didn't really do anything fun since I had to write these damn lesson plans. I have a lot planned for the students this year and might even take some field trips, or something." Dillion shrugged his shoulders while eying Adriel again. "So, planning on having your classroom beside mine again this year?" He asked while slapping Adriel playfully on the knee, laughing a little bit.

Quentin eyed Acacia when she shook his head and her hand felt right inside of his. His eyes lowered to the ground, along with his head as he smiled softly to himself then looked back up at her as she started to answer his question. It was a long ass answer but Quentin really enjoyed that from people. He was rather intrigued about learning more about Acacia as McKenna stood up with the clap of her hands. "Okay, I am going to go look for my boyfriend, Kai. If anyone cares." When she spoke those words, she left the compartment and made her trek throughout the moving train now.

He nodded his head and gave Kenna a thumbs up then entered Olira. "Oh, great, the little sister from hell that I never wanted." Quentin chuckled as he stood up and gave Olira a hug then sat down beside Acacia and directed Olira to sit down where he was sitting. "So, how was your Summer, Olira?" Quentin asked her while looking over at Acacia briefly only to turn back and stare at Olira, again.

After leaving the compartment, she ran into Olira. "Oh, hey there, girl." She said with smile then offered her a hug before breaking it and still smiling. "Sorry to cut this short but we should catch up later." Kenna said while walking off, searching for her boyfriend, Kai. She looked almost up and down the train for him but then walked past the compartment he was in and saw him talking to Myrra. Kenna rolled her eyes and basically leaned against one of the walls so she couldn't be seen. She wanted to barge in there and grab him by the throat then rip it out but she was a little bit nicer than that.

With a soft sigh, she opened up the compartment door and leaned against the doorway, clearing her throat. "Hi, Kai." She eyed him then looked at Myrra. "Myrra." She then rolled her eyes over towards Kai. "So, you haven't been looking for me, I see." She once again eyed Myrra then turned her glance back towards Kai, shaking her head with her arms now folded over her chest. "I guess I shall see you around since things seem to be more interesting in here than where my compartment is." She turned heel swiftly, letting the end strands of her raven colored hair fall upon him.

Kenna walked back over to her compartment and entered, sitting beside Olira with a sigh. She was silent for a moment, looking away from everyone.

"Did you hear? Apparently some deatheaters are at Hogwarts..." "Deatheaters are going undercover at the wizarding schools..." "Are they going to attack the students? The teachers?" "Deatheaters are..."

In the few weeks leading up to school, Odette had heard little else. Gossip about the villainous 'pureblood' activists hiding in wizarding schools was all the news. The Daily Prophet, a wizarding magazine her aunt read with scarily intense passion, had been going gaga over it. Nothing like a scandal involving murderous, 'mudblood'-hating fascists to get people interested.
To be honest, Odette wasn't really sure what to think. It was a scary concept, most certainly, but to be honest, there was no proof. It was currently nothing more than a rumour, spread by the eager and intrigued.
But a rumour had to start from something, right?

And besides, there was no way that the possibility of teenage deatheaters was going to stop her from going to her favourite place in the world, as well playing her favourite sport. Odette clutched her broomstick tightly, its long handle smooth and polished despite it being almost seven years old. Cosimo's cage had already been loaded onto the train, as well as her suitcase, and she carefully slipped her broomstick into its box, and into the storage room after it. Peering up at the sky, she caught a glimpse of sandy color, and smiled. Cosimo hated his cage, preferring to fly alongside the train rather than within it.

Her aunt and uncle had had to bit her adieu from the other side of the barrier, what with them being muggles, and so as she mounted the train, she was on her lonesome. That being said, she was well known, and shared smiles and brief greetings with a number of acquaintances, classmates and friends as she searched for someone a little more personally close, or even a free compartment. The latter, due to her own lateness, was excrutiatingly rare, and in one case, she walked into a seemingly empty room only to receive an icy glare from the seventh year Ravenclaw residing inside. "Uh, sorry..."
Another compartment. Full. Another. Full. Another. Not quite full, but obviously not welcoming. Odette sighed, only to perk up when she heard a couple of familiar voices. Walking over, Odette mumbled, "Let there be a seat. Let there be a seat. Let there be a-" She peeked in through the doorway with a small, nervous smile, gesturing to the last vacated space.

"Hi, I don't suppose that seat is free, is it?" She looked over the people in the cabin, relieved to spy familiar, and even friendly, faces among the fray. Noting the two twins, one nestled under a blanket, and the other smiling at a girl she didn't recognise, her own smile brightened.

Ravenclaw - Sixth Year - Half-blood - Transfer student from King Cove (America) - #D66E5A

After introducing herself to the guys, another pretty girl entered their compartment and joined their conversation. She seemed way more confident and feisty than Brinley, and that kind of intimidated her. But after hearing the girl speak, earning a few chuckles from everyone, she instantly warmed up towards her and relaxed. Diego telling her that he came from King Cove too instantly made Brinley feel more at ease; she wasn't the only transfer student in the history of Hogwarts (that was obviously logical, but she loved being dramatic).

They all started to discuss stuff about quidditch, and since Brinley wasn't really fond of broomsticks or heights she kept quiet, just listening what they all had to say and drifting off into her own thoughts. Yes, she was a very athletic girl but the only exercise she did was on the ground, safe and sound. A voice interrupted her thoughts and made her look towards everyone. It was pretty Hufflepuff girl Aryia, "I want to hear about you first... if you don't mind, that is."

Brinley didn't mind at all. On a daily basis nobody could shut up the girl or her never ending fun facts, but today she was feeling a bit shy because of her new-ness to everything. "No, I don't mind... what'd you guys want to know?" she responded, her American accent flowing through her every word. Since she arrived to England she refused to admit she was the one with an accent; it wasn't her, it was them, with their posh accent and weird muggle slang. "I can answer all kinds of questions... well... almost any," she added.

Before Brinley could say anything else, another girl entered their compartment. She was very pretty, just like Aryia (yes, Brinley was jealous and suddenly feeling very self-conscious about her nerdy looks) and spoke to them, "Hi, I don't suppose that seat is free, is it?" It felt wrong to speak, so Brinley stayed quiet and looked at everyone else. She was clearly younger than them, and new, so she felt as if it wasn't right to answer the girl and speak for everyone else when she barely knew them herself.

Diego shrugged slightly at Ayria's insinuation. "I'm a head boy, yes. Am I like your sister? No... I'm more... loose on rules than she is," Diego stated as he put it the nicest way he could. It wasn't mean and it clearly came across that he wasn't trying to be mean. It was purely fact. People knew Myrra was a rule follower, a pretty strict one too, but people also usually knew that Diego was cool with breaking a few rules so long as they made sense and he could be a part of whatever was going on.

Diego clapped for Ethan softly, smiling at the feat he had acomplished in pretending to be asleep. "You had to be expecting that Aiden," Diego began before turning to face Ayria. "I say that because it's about time Slytherin wins. It's been too long in my opinion," Diego admitted, revealing that he did in fact have nothing else better than she might have expected.

"Besides, we have two seventh year keepers, a seventh year keeper, an amazing fifth year seeker, and more my friend. This year is going to certainly be interesting," Diego finished off as he sat back, listening to her summer. It sounded boring, even to Diego who preferred that kind of stuff. He had gone to Disneyland, the Disney park on the west coast of the United States with his family, and had an amazing time.

Diego turned his attention politely and interested into towards the girl everyone turned to, hoping she didn't get creeped out or nervous since Diego would have done that too, though nobody ever saw it.

Diego looked up when he heard the door open, finding Odette at the door. He gave her a smile, squishing against the door in order to allow the compartment to reach its maximum occupancy, by far. "Sure, we were hoping to break a record for the most people in a train compartment, you can be a part of it," Diego said with an easy smile and easy posture that as now pushed against the window.

When Brinley seemed a little at a loss for what to talk about, Diego spoke up. "How about what part of the states did you live in? I'm from New York," Diego explained as if saying where he was from would explain why he was curious about where Brinley was from. Diego kept his attention on Brinley, not having to pretend his interest was real, for it genuinely was.

Brinley was glad Diego spoke up after letting the other girl sit inside their compartment, and continued with their conversation. "How about what part of the states did you live in? I'm from New York," he asked Brinley. She had gone to New York quite a few times with her parents since her mother was a huge Broadway fan and loved the musicals and plays they had there. "New York's an amazing place, a little too crowded, but still pretty cool," she added first. Brinley did not like crowded places or being around huge groups of people; that's basically one of the main reasons why she never went to parties, another reason being that she was never invited. "I was born in Fresno, California, but I've lived in Phoenix, Arizona since I was three. That pretty much explains why I'm not fond of the cold and cloudy weather here."

She was too used to Phoenix's hot and dry weather. It was pool party season pretty much all year round, and moving to England had been a drastic change. Here, she barely saw the sun and it rained almost every day. Brinley wasn't really complaining since she had already fallen in love with the forests and green vegetation, which was what Phoenix lacked greatly, but she did miss bathing in the sun and wearing tank tops.

"I was born in Fresno, California, but I've lived in Phoenix, Arizona since I was three. That pretty much explains why I'm not fond of the cold and cloudy weather here."

Ayria couldn't help but laugh at this. She didn't even realize that this region was considered cold, but that was probably due to her lack of traveling. She'd never experienced other climates, so she decided to take this girl's word for it. She kept a kind smile on her face, deciding she'd spoke enough for a while, and would let everyone else take over. Besides, after blurting out that she'd go on a date with Ethan, she really didn't trust her mouth to work on it's own. It was definitely working against her today and she would plan out her next words very wisely to avoid another awkward situation.

"So, what house are you going to be in..?" Ayria asked with a bit of curiosity, seeing as she didn't see anyone dressed in their robes aside from Diego. Speaking of... She quickly stood, standing on her tiptoes to reach into her bag over their heads and retrieved her own uniform and robe.

"Hold that thought." She stated to Brinley, raising a single finger in the air, giving the girl an apologetic glance. She really hated asking a question only to have to leave. She really was enjoying the conversation(s?) that took place. Though, she knew that she'd forget if she didn't change her clothes now, "I accidentally reminded myself that I need to go change first. I'll be back soon." She winked to the group, then turned her attention directly to Brinley. She would definitely return, because this new girl was interesting and definitely seemed to attract a crowd. There would be no harm making female friends, at least none that she could think of at the time, "It was nice meeting you. Sorry to leave on my own question." She chimed in a sheepish nature, a bit embarrassed by her scatterbrained behavior.

Ayria needed to find a nice spot to change as well, because she wasn't sure, but she assumed the trip wouldn't last much longer and she didn't want to be caught unprepared. The last thing she wanted was to be caught out of school attire on her first day of her last year. Breaking the dress code was a serious punishment, and she didn't feel like meeting with the headmaster this early into the year.

“Ayria!”

Before she left the compartment, a voice rung out, one she was vaguely familiar with. She wasn't really sure who it belonged to from this distance, but she laughed nervously, "I guess I'm popular today." She shook her head, and left the compartment, closing the door behind her quietly. She couldn't see much because the Trolly lady was surrounded by students, so she slipped into a changing room and came out in her Hufflepuff robes. She continued toward the direction of the voice, only for her eyes to land on a slightly familiar face.

She'd seen him around before, but she wasn't sure where, nor did she wish to insult him, "Did you call for me? She asked with unfiltered curiosity, her chocolate brown eyes examining George as she awaited a response. The guy had a charming face, distinctive and memorable, but as far as his name went, she was at a loss. She'd seen this guy in class before, but aside from that she didn't remember much about him.

He remembered my name? I wonder what he wants.. She thought to herself, almost bouncing out of her skin in curiosity, but she did her best to contain herself. She didn't want to scare him after all.. because what if he wasn't the one who called out to her at all? That would be embarrassing.

Myrra put her book away once she'd finished it and left the compartment to change into her robes, proudly displaying her Head Girl badge on her robes. She began walking through the corridor, reminding students to change into their robes. Though she came in to one and noticed quite a few familiar faces, "I advise everyone to change into their robes soon. It's better to be dressed properly before the train makes it to Hogwarts." she stated to Ethan, Aiden, Odette, Diego, and Brinley. Although, Diego was already dressed in his robes. Myrra hung in the doorway, lingering around and began to nervously bite her bottom lip. She didn't want to continue on, seeing as eventually she would run into McKenna and Kai, and that was the last place she needed to end up at the moment.

Her eyes landed on Brinley again, and she tilted her head. This girl was definitely new, so she entered and sat down where Ayria once sat, unaware that her sister had been in here mere minutes before, "Oh, hello. I don't believe that we've met. I'm Myrra Blake, what is your name?" She asked in a very cheerful and formal tone. She was the bright and goody-two-shoes sibling by far..

Her eyes shifted to the guys, then Odette. There were a lot of Quidditch players in here, almost all of them from different teams. How was this compartment still in a solid piece? Most Quidditch players from opposing teams couldn't stand the sight of each other, though, if that were always true, then McKenna and Kai would not be dating... so there were always exceptions.

Diego nodded his agreement to Ayria's teasing towards Aiden. So many quidditch players in one room. Diego knew most of his friends would have made a comment about how he was single upon hearing Ayria mention speed dating, but refrained, not wanting to do something so... unlike him.

Diego smiled and nodded at Brinley, trying to come across as one who was actually happy for her, as he really was. "Fresno and Phoenix. I've been there once or twice, Fresno, that is. That does make sense, I always hated leaving California after visiting family," Diego stated with a knowing nod. "I, I am a New Yorker. I'm used to Britain's weather since the winter in NYC is just like here. Year round though," Diego stated with a nod, as if it explained the meaning of a lot of things rather than just why he was okay with Britain's weather.

Diego saw George Bardla as he called to Ayria. It was pretty obvious to him what his feelings towards the Hufflepuff girl was. Diego didn't say anything though, knowing it was kind of against the guy code. His old "friends" in middle school in the states always talked about the guy code, though he never really knew what they were truly talking about. So instead of giving anything away, Diego smiled, waved and turned to look out the window, ignoring the fact that their compartment was getting very full very quickly. Why did he have to be in the crowds that people liked to hang and interact with?

Diego looked around, observing the scene before looking to Brinley again, finding she was the safest bet at conversation. "So, are you a quidditch fan?" Diego asked, leaning forward to rest his elbows onto his knees to talk to her so the rest of the conversation could go over his head. He heard the candy cart outside and looked to the door, smiling and thinking about what he might want before shaking his head inwardly, deciding against it.

Diego was the first to reply, not that that surprised Odette in the slightest, adn she returned the smile, laughing slightly as the nervousness that she'd be a bother almost immediately faded into nothingness. "Sure, we were hoping to break a record for the most people in a train compartment, you can be a part of it." Slipping into the free seat, Odette took in her neighbours, her eyebrows rising in an intrigued expression when her fellow Quidditch-er, Ayria, replied, "Yeah, of course. We're having an unofficial Quidditch meeting and a Get-to-know party all at the same time. It's like speed dating, only more complicated." "Consider my interest piqued."
As the group babbled amongst themselves, Odette noted the presence of a girl's whose face she did not recognise, and who, as she spoke, revealed an American twang in her words. Of course, 'American accent' was a pretty loose description, considering the vast mass of accents that stirred in the good, old, US of A, but Odette had never been all that good at pinpointing accents, so she'd probably just describe it as the 'not hill-billy one'.

It was easy to note Diego's fascination with what the girl was saying, and Odette smiled a small, knowing smile to herself before quickly slipping in, "Uh, I think I missed introductions. I'm Odette, by the way." When Diego asked another question, "So, are you a quidditch fan?" She leant in slightly to the stranger, giving her a jokingly warning gaze, gesturing to Diego with a swirling cuckoo gesture and speaking in a hushed tone, "Be careful how you answer that."

Seeing something in the corner of her eye, Odette turned to the door, and startled slightly before her face turned to a narrow-eyed glare, scoffing slightly, reluctantly amused by the contorted faces that none other than her personal rival, Kris Grayson, performed so miraculously. With a sneer, she jutted out her own tongue, and started to rise, only to feel the train beginning to slow. To no one in particular, she said, "Oh. Looks like we're here."

Diego raised his eyebrows in response to Odette as he gave a smile. "Sorry, Odette, but can't you see my passion in all of this," Diego asked as he leaned on her obnoxiously. It was obvious it was done in a friendly manner. Odette was very pretty, but Diego didn't really know if he felt "like that" towards her.

"However, Brinley, Odette is entirely correct about that," Diego stated as he looked to her before sitting up. Diego looked to where Odette looked, seeing Kris Grayson. Diego wasn't entirely sure what their relationship was, but knew if there was something, him leaning on Odette wouldn't come across as anything. The two were just friends. If anything, people thought Diego had a crush on Julianne Hough, a pretty American dancer who he kept a picture of in his wallet.

"Hi Kris," Diego stated with a friendly wave. As the train stopped, Diego stood, exiting with everyone else. He got in a carriage with the people around him, then upon reaching the castle, exited to go to his Slytherin table. He sat kind of a third of the way back, not too far from McKenna and his other quidditch friends. He enjoyed his meal, catching a wink from a friend down the table and wondering what he was planning since the fellow was a troublemaker that was friends with Diego.

Diego's favorite on the table was something that tasted like pizza rolls that he used to eat obsessively from America. It was delicious. He wasn't even really sure what it was, only that it tasted amazing. It was what dominated his plate most of the time. "Diego, how are the twins?" One of Diego's friends asked with a smile. He had visited Diego over the summer once where he had met the twins. "Amazing, they both just learned their first spell by looking it up in an old book. They're going to be Ravenclaw for sure at this rate," Diego replied with a fake sigh that caused a couple kids to laugh.

Slytherin Pure Blood
Transfer from Sarina Dorie (France)
Seventh Year Dialogue Color Code: #7300ff
Location: Hogwarts Dining Room
ImageTo say Katerina didn't even want to be at Hogwarts was an understatement. She purposely got thrown out of Sarina Dorie in hopes that she wouldn't have to step into another school again, which apparently didn't work out the way she wanted to. Apparently the ministry put her on probation and she wouldn't be off until she finished her last year. In hopes that her attitude would change, the ministry demanded that Katerina be accepted into Hogwarts.

The eighteen year old stepped into the building carrying a lit cigarette between her fingers. Though the second she stepped through the door, she just stood there, glancing over at everyone. Before taking the last puff from her cigarette she died it out upon her boot and proceeded to the Slytherin table. Katerina hadn't even been dressed in her robes. She wore a leather dress that stopped just above her knee with ankle boots with a pair of sunglasses upon the top of her head and bright red lipstick.

As she made her way through the dining room, her heels clicked behind her with every step and she could feel the eyes of many of the students upon her, though honestly she didn't care in the slightest. The French transfer finally sat down at the Slytherin table and started to grab some food. Without a word she glanced around at the others. "What a drag," she mumbled to herself in her French accent.

If it weren't for the ministry dropping her off at this school to begin with, she honestly wouldn't have even arrived. If it were up to her, she'd of been in Hawaii right now, away from all of these losers. The female smirked to herself when she noticed a fellow Slytherin who looked about her age sitting just a few places down from her. That male was extremely attractive. With his gorgeous blonde curls with the messy look and his astonishing blue hues, Katerina suddenly found her interest in Hogwarts piqued.

The brunette then glanced up at the professors who were eating their dinner at the front of the dining room and suddenly another wicked smirk plastered to her face. Professor McQueen suddenly stroke her interest. McQueen was talked about all the time around the other wizarding schools, if nobody knew who he was they definitely had something wrong with them. From what she heard, McQueen was the best Charms professor in the world. Not only that, but he was extremely attractive. The female bit her bottom lip a bit as she began glancing back and forth from Professor McQueen and her fellow Slytherin, hoping that she would eventually be able to pique some sort of interest from them.

Alastair stood up upon the conclusion of dessert and smiled at the students before him. He raised his hands and upon the noise receding, spoke. "Witches and Wizards, as you may have heard, we will be celebrating this year, the anniversary of Hogwarts yet again as arrived to us. In order to celebrate it, we shall be hosting a Yule ball within the week for the eldest of the students. The day has yet to be decided yet it shall be announced as soon as it is known to me and your teachers."

Alastair paused as the students' voices raised until he quieted them again by raising one hand. He continued, "The ball shall be at night and hosted here in the Great Hall. The occasion is formal and in consideration of the fact that students might not have the needed formalities, students will be permitted to visit Hogsmeade in order to purchase or order the needed formalities, though we will be going by the years. In order to be able to go, you must be at least a fourth year. One through three, you shall be allowed to instead have a smaller celebration in the courtyard though you will not be permitted within, elder students will be permitted outside." Alastair saw the looks of the students, but certainly didn't mind.

"As you prepare for this ball, remember to be respectful and have fun. You are going to be expected to do at least one dance though we will not expect too much from you with this considering not all of you have been formally trained. Finally, this Yule ball is not a normal ball... Witches and wizards, I have received requests and have decided to allow this ball to be a masquerade ball. You shall be given the opportunity to create a professional style mask within your spare time and have all the needed supplies provided. You need only draw a sketch or discover a picture and we shall have the masks made," Alastair concluded before giving a nod and a flourish of his hand to signal the students were allowed to go as they pleased, then resumed his seat.

Brooklyn missed the train, not because she hadn't been there on time, but because she had already been at Hogwarts. She had been out skating during the day on the lake below the castle, enjoying herself and laughing when she fell onto the hard ice. Her "adoptive" parents had dropped her off early that day since they had a meeting with Alastair, the headmaster of the school. Brooklyn hadn't minded missing the train, she hadn't been sad nor happy for she was getting to skate.

Brooklyn had gone back to her room to put her things away before taking a slight nap. She had woken up only minutes before the big announcement Alastair had to make to the school. She rushed downstairs, hearing the loud thrum of people inside and walking in late. She ducked under the glances that came to her, going to sit at the edge of the Gryffindor table. She received a wave and smile from Kai Bolton, the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, and one of her few friends.

She waved back, giving him a smile before filling her plate and eating a little bit. She was not entirely hungry, but she ate, knowing that if she didn't she wouldn't be happy with herself in the morning. She did love food, even if she didn't eat it all the time. She just wasn't hungry all the time and couldn't help the fact.

Brooklyn looked up in time to see the announcement made by the headmaster as he spoke loudly and clearly. She couldn't wait. She really couldn't. This meant that there would be a dance and she would know what to do... but she wouldn't. They wouldn't be playing the kind of music she danced to. The only way she would be able to dance the way she likes to would be if there was a partner that could do the same things she could do and she had yet to meet a boy at Hogwarts who could. She had yet to understand magic entirely too!

She probably wouldn't have a date and though she was not happy about it, she resigned herself to it. How could she not? What else was she to do? She might just show up, dance a little bit in the corner, then leave and go back to her room or down to the lake to skate in whatever dress she ends up wearing to the ball. She sighed inwardly, wanting to pretend to herself that she might get asked by someone. She didn't understand why people seemed to think she wasn't nice, or friendly. She was, once you knew her... She sighed again, and continued to eat her food, then her dessert rather desolately.

By the time dinner ended, Brooklyn stood, walking at a regular pace back to the Gryffindor dorms. The majority of the crowd thrummed around her and though she was fine with it, she didn't laugh and join into the banter, not even when someone called out her name that she had talked to the year before once. She instead waved back and smiled, but didn't stop walking, instead turning down the less used path to take the long way to the Gryffindor dorms in order to avoid the major crowds so people wouldn't look at her strangely.

Brooklyn didn't look where she was going when she rounded the corner to go up the stairs towards her dorms.

Brooklyn bumped into a girl she didn't recognize, falling back to land on her butt. It was embarrassing, sure, but she didn't really care all that much. If this girl was in such a hurry or got hurt too, Brooklyn understood. She did appear apologetic at first, then she was "salty" as she had heard some students describe the response as.

She stood, looking as the headmaster appeared and told her she could go. She gave a small encouraging smile to the other girl, a tiny wave, then left. She didn't mind that the girl didn't seem very nice. She must have had a reason. Brooklyn continued walking, finding herself going slowly as she looked at the school she enjoyed.

She gave little waves to the paintings that recognized her. Some people and paintings believed her to be mute, people only heard her speak during class, when she was called on. For Brooklyn didn't often have questions. She saw one of her fellow Gryffindors, Kai Bolton, yet again as he walked, looking frustrated and tired.

She didn't speak up, instead, putting a hand on his shoulder and giving him a smile which he returned with a smile. "Thanks Brook," He said before Brooklyn allowed him to go on his way.

She enjoyed just listening and believed actions spoke louder than words, so why bother with words in the first place? She saw McKenna Posey and gave a little wave and smile as she continued walking. She wasn't really sure where she was going, but she found that wandering was making her happy.

Perhaps she'd go to her favorite room, an old room that might have served as an area for physical exercise, where she could practice gymnastics or dance. Both would allow her to feel better.

Brooklyn caught sight of Quentin Pine and and actually approached him instead of going back to her room to get her dance stuff. The students had at least another hour before lights out, so she wanted to spend time with the people she hadn't seen for a while.

"Hey Quentin," Brooklyn said softly, her voice might have been a breeze if she hadn't been facing the Ravenclaw boy. "Did you have a great summer?" Brooklyn asked. She felt herself get nervous and brushed it off, figuring that it was because it was the first time she had spoken to anybody that day other than her "adoptive" parents.

She said "adoptive" because of the fact that she had only been taken in to be taken out of the muggle world. They cared for her, but not in a motherly and fatherly way, in a way that depicted them doing the basics while being nice people about it. She looked at them more so as friends than parents. Which wasn't a problem with her really, or her parent like friends, for they knew she knew why she was taken in and didn't even bother trying to hide it.

She thought of herself as alone and so long as she had the friends that managed to see her friendly side as well as her friendly parentlike figures, she would be fine.

Diego had eaten his dinner around some quidditch lovers that he hung out with because they were chill. They were the closest to his real personality that he could be around without giving away the fact that he always has on a facade. He was tired and he really didn't want to have to deal with anything at the moment, finding that going to his room seemed to be much more appealing than actually eating food. And he loved food.

He watched the drama around him, savoring every moment of it without showing it on his face. He watched as McKenna played a little game with Nico, as Kai noticed and looked upset (though he hid it well from most), from Brooklyn entering dinner late, the girl... Katarina? From his house that entered in all her leather glory, and Colton calling out to her. Everything was so interesting and strange at the same time, yet he couldn't help but want to laugh and let his true feelings show, though he didn't dare.

His thoughts wandered to what was going on this year, rumor wise. He had heard somewhere that Kai had been caught in a compartment kissing Myrra, but he doubted that had any truth. Their houses were pretty against each other and rumors about him would have been spread through the Slytherin house quickly in order to make him look like a jerk, or to mess with his head for the upcoming game. He had also heard a rumor about death eaters. Was that true? If it was, should he even be there? He was a muggleborn, and people knew it. He didn't flaunt it but people knew, and or had ways to find out. It was actually pretty scary to Diego, but he mentally brushed it off. Any one of these people could be death eaters, waiting for an opportunity to kill him or his friends.

He sighed, then looked up as Alastair, their headmaster, told of how they were going to begin the year by holding a ball. Diego looked at his friends curiously, unsure how he felt about it. He wanted to go, figured it would be fun to go, even when he was being himself he liked to dance. He considered his options, then nodded as his friends around him had done for no reason that Diego knew of. They all laughed when he noticed and he smiled good naturally though his feelings were a little hurt, even if he didn't know why they would be. They weren't trying to be mean, few people ever did to Diego ever since he began acting the way he acted.

Who would he ask? He didn't have a crush. He thought some girls were cute, but he didn't have a crush. Maybe he'd ask one of his girl friends to go. He might even ask out one of the other girls on the quidditch team, they were nice. For the most part. Yeah they were nice.

When dinner was over, Diego stood and began walking towards his house with his friends. They talked about how they were going to have a party in a few days, the day after the Slytherin Gryffindor game. They'd have special food (which Diego knew would end up being, well, spiked) and "games" as in truth or dare where someone would get hurt. Anyone was going to be invited, from every house, though if they were coming, they had to do at least one round of truth or dare themselves. It would be fun, potentially dangerous and or harmful, but fun. Right? Diego's moral compass was currently clouded but he found that he had little to no choice, or just didn't care. At the moment, he had friends and was somewhat happy. He broke off from the other Slytherin guys, going to sit near the fire.

He saw the girl in leather enter and show off her leather once Colton got in. Diego did nothing more but raise an eyebrow, his interest piked, though he didn't say anything or let on his interest.

I know this has nothing to do with the story line to the roleplay and I'm sorry for posting this here, but it's just easier to get everyone's attention this way.

I just wanted everyone to know that Zoey and I have been talking a bit more about the plot of the rp and we would love it if you joined in with it. So if you could, please check the OOC at least once a day when you get online and point out any ideas you may have for it and also to see what others have in mind. This can't work out the way everyone wants if there is no communication going on.

Also if everyone could, if you have unfinished character sheets, could you please finish them. There are some people who go to them to get information on characters they are interacting with and they can't be sure what is going on with them if it's not finished. I'm not rushing this, but I'd at least want all of the sheets finished within the next two weeks. I believe that should be a long enough time to get all of this done. If anyone has any comments or concerns about anything mentioned in this post or otherwise, please contact me through PM.

Brooklyn had spoken to Quentin for a few minutes before hearing something and frowning. She gave him a little wave before walking towards the noise with a confused and concerned face on. As she walked, she found she nearly made a wrong turn. the noise that she heard sent shivers through her before she could really process what she was hearing.

Brooklyn heard the screams, turning the corner of one hallway, off the normal path of students. She saw before her a horrific sight that she had seen before. A girl, a red headed girl in Gryffindor robes lay on the ground screaming, surrounded by death eaters. The curse on the girl was one Brooklyn knew very well, one she had seen performed on her family, one of the unforgivable curses.

Brooklyn had a flashback that caused her head to split in pain by itself. Her aunt, dead on the floor of their apartment. Her cousin was screaming as the death eaters stood around her, all staring mercilessly at her under their hoods though Brooklyn couldn't tell. Brooklyn was frozen in place. One of the death eaters had put a spell on her that hadn't allowed her to move. She knew she was to be tortured next. She hated the fact that she was scared, hoped that her cousin might live longer so Brooklyn wouldn't have to feel the pain she knew her cousin was going through. She screamed, begging them to let her and her cousin go, as she knew her aunt was already dead.

Brooklyn came to on her side. She rolled up to look at the source of the screams, confused for a moment before remembering. She had passed out for less than half a minute. She moved, pushing herself back with her hands as she tried to get further from the sight before her. "Leave her alone," She screamed at the death eaters.

Brooklyn, though she wasn't sure what she'd do, managed to pull out her wand and get on her feet. She thought about what to do, as she moved to hide behind an armoir two feet away, thinking about what she had been taught. She couldn't reach the corridor now that she was on the wrong side of the hall. She had gone down the hall to see into the dark and now was too far from the hall to believe there was a chance she might get out.

She heard steps and felt tears forming as she shook in her fear. She took a deep breath, then turned, ready to cast a spell to disrupt the curse, then run, but ran into a death eater who grabbed her. He twisted her hand, causing Brook to cry out. The fellow manages to get a hit on Brooklyn, causing her to go down. She heard the man begin to speak the unforgivable curse though she manages to interrupt his spell with a simple light one.

As Brooklyn moved to run, she heard the death eaters laugh before she heard the curse completed. The pain that engulfed her caused her to trip and fall to the ground again, twisting in pain. Tears flowed freely though Brooklyn couldn't scream, finding herself only able to shudder and shake under the pain.

Diego had been talking to the headmaster about the rumor of the death eaters when the two heard the scream. They looked at the other before taking off. When the two rounded the corner, they saw Acacia, the new head of Gryffindor, and Brooklyn, a quiet Gryffindor girl, both alone, abandoned in the hall.

"Mr.Jordan, help Ms.Marie to the medical wing. I'll be right with you," Alastair states as he pulls out his wand and goes down the dark corridor towards Acacia. He kneels beside her, checking on her though he does not let his eyes leave the shadows around him, the dead end not comforting to Alastair at all.

Deigo moves to Brooklyn, picking up her limp frame gently as he carried her towards the medical wing. She began to whisper and Diego leaned in to listen. He had been friends with Brooklyn just because he believed she was one of the few people that might have actually liked him for him and not what he pretended to be.

"Brook, you're all right, it's okay," Diego stated to her as he carried her quickly to the medical wing. She shook her head slightly against his shoulder, whispering "no" over and over again. She finally managed to croak out what she had been meaning to say. "I saw.. face,"] She whispered as she shuddered in remembrance of the recent pain she endured.

Diego frowned but continued to carry the girl to the medical wing where he saw waiting for Alastair to come back with teh Gryffindor head girl, Acacia.

ImageAlthough Acacia was unconscious she was able to vaguely hear another female's voice, one of whom was trying to save Acacia but ended up caught in the cross fire and got hurt herself. Though shortly after, the area was clear and the headmaster with a male stepped into the area. At this point she was able to hear the voices but wasn't able to make out any of the words.

Acacia was lifted into the headmaster's arms and was taken down to the medical wing, following behind Diego with Brooklyn. By now the red head was completely out of it. She felt the bed beneath her then everything went numb and she couldn't hear anything. Finally she went into a deep sleep and didn't wake up until the next morning.

With a soft yawn and a stretch she sat up in bed finding that everything hurt. When she opened her eyes, Acacia found herself being in the medical wing. All she could remember was getting attacked by Death Eaters last night, the vague memory of another girl's voice was heard as well.

"Ma'am, another girl, one who was attacked with me, is she still here?" the red head questioned, hoping that she would be so she would be able to thank her for trying to save her.

"Yes, Brooklyn is laying over there," she pointed towards the other end of the wing before returning to her duties.

Acacia carefully climbed out of bed and trekked her way over towards Brooklyn. She stood between her bed and the one to the left of it and glanced down at her, hoping that she wasn't still asleep. But even if she was she started speaking. "Hi Brooklyn, I just wanted to thank you for trying to help me. I really appreciate it. Just know I have your back after this. You deserve it," she stated to her before starting on her way back to her bed.

"Do you have all of your lessons figured out for the next couple of days?" he questioned as he tried to think about whether or not to ask Annie to the Yule Ball. He knew it wasn't really necessary for professors to have dates, but he wouldn't mind one.

Although he didn't even want to be around all of these teenagers and their drama, he knew he had to be. The headmaster personally asked him to attend as a chaperone for the ball so there was no getting out of it, he had to show up whether he wanted to or not. "Are you going to the ball?" he questioned, hoping that he was because at least he'd have someone to talk to. Of course if Barfield and Cain attended he would speak to them but it wouldn't be the same.

ImageWhile listening to Ayria speak, he leaned against the wall and slid his hands into his pockets. He couldn't seem to imagine why she would be so willing to help him out like this, though after hearing that it had involved her sister, Myrra a bit as well he immediately understood. Though he didn't see a reason not to go along with it. If there were a way for Kai and McKenna to break up and Ayria is willing to take the fall for all of it, he mind as well go for it.

Though just before he was able to accept the offer, she was pulled away from him by someone standing at the Hufflepuff door. She held out a finger to him, telling him to hold on. Nico returned his attention outside the window with a sigh and leaned his head back against the wall. He hoped whatever Ayria had in mind would work without getting him in trouble with either Kai or McKenna. Well, Kai he wouldn't really care less about, McKenna is the one he doesn't want to upset.

Ever since he met the girl during their first year, he hated hurting her even if it were on accident. Nico would always feel bad about it for weeks until finally getting over it. Girls were more fragile than guys were with their emotions at least and he never wanted to hurt her feelings or make her upset at him.

She laid her robe upon the back of her chair where her scarves lay and changed into her pajamas, consisting of cloth shorts and a tank top. Katerina knew McKenna was in the room with her, but completely ignored her presence. She was in no mood to deal with any drama right now, all she wanted was sleep.

Katerina climbed into her bed and pulled the blanket over her petite frame before letting out a soft sigh and closed her eyes. She tried to block out every sound that was coming from the students in the common room down stairs and the others who were getting themselves ready for bed as well.

Finally after laying there for almost an hour, she fell asleep.

Kai woke a few days later, tired and not really sure what to do. School had ended early and he had taken a nap for a little bit. Kai had gotten his dress robes which really looked like the robes his father had worn during his mother and father's wedding though it had been half muggle and Kai's muggle side had been confused and laughed at how Kai's father looked, though the wizard side was slightly offended at it.

Kai looked at himself, then reached for his mask. It was gold and had simple swirls on it. He hadn't gone all out like some people, preferring the simplicity for the sake of simplicity.

Kai walked with one of the other chasers on his team. It was a girl who had a boyfriend in Hufflepuff that she had been with for years, that and people knew they were really just friends. Not Kai and Myrra just friends, but just just friends if that made sense.

He gave the chaser a little wave as she joined her date who gave Kai a little wave back before Kai stood inside the ball, looking for Myrra to make an appearance. Where was she? Would she even want to dance with him at all when he was only the rebound guy? Kai sighed, feeling his heart weigh heavily, not wanting to do anything really. He couldn't recognize half of those at the ball, which was good and bad.

He heard a slap and smiled a little, there was the first mistake of the night, there would be many more too. Kai wondered if the teachers cose masquerade just so that the students would have more drama between them and end up with the teachers having to do more in the students life as they repremanded those who got in fights or such.

Diego went upstairs upon dropping Brooklyn off, making sure she'd be okay the next day before going back to his normal schedule. Diego dressed for the ball in clothing that wasn't new, but his cousins from when he went to school at Hogwarts a year or so ago. Diego was okay with the hand-me-downs, but it wasn't his favorite. He saw a bunch of people with brand new robes and all of that and he sighed inwardly, brushing it off. People wouldn't know his robes were used. They didn't need to know either.

Diego's mask was something his little sisters came up with. It was cute and adorable and had glitter. He had gotten some clever comments on it's appearance but he just smiled and said his was more fabulous than anyone else's, that and he loved his little sisters so he just didn't really care what others thought.

Diego walked down with the group of guys he had planned the party with. They had told people about the party as well and had already set it up early that day. The group walked and were a little rowdy, but not as obnoxiously as some of the first years.

Diego and his group entered the ball, and moved out. Diego walked to the center where he led some girl from Ravenclaw out onto the floor with him. She was a transfer, one he didn't know. She had been happy enough to dance with him and seemed to be having fun.

He had no clue what her name was either. It was actually kind of funny. Few people had the guts to ask a girl to dance, and Diego had done it. He was proud of himself, as himself. He rarely did it since he knew that people looked down on displaying what you are really like.

Brooklyn woke in the night, once. Shaking and crying from the nightmare that had woken her. Brook was calmed only once the nurse had given Brook something to allow her to go back to sleep. Keeping her from having the nightmares anymore, thankfully.

Brooklyn woke in the morning, staying in a ball on her bed, shaking and shivering in her own thoughts when she heard a voice and jumped. She looked to the girl behind her, trying to calm her raised heart rate. It wasn't a death eater, she was all right, there wouldn't be death or more pain from her.

Brooklyn just nodded slightly. "Um... yes. Thanks," She managed before curling back up in a ball. She thought back to her nightmare, seeing her cousin and aunt getting tortured all over again. She shook and felt tears at her eyes and her chest ache. It was horrible, all of it and she hated this feeling of helplessness she was feeling at the moment.

She thought back to the night before, back to what Quentin had said. She had smiled at what he had said, finding it funny that he had gotten sipplies early and played BINGO all summer being the guy he was. He wasn't one she would expect to do such a thing, BINGO that is. There was no surprise with the school supplies.

She sighed, not wanting to seem rude to the girl, but not able to do anything more in her current and fragil state.

Brooklyn rested for the next few days most of the time. Her teachers gave her slack though she turned all the assignments in on time and quickly. She was quieter than usual though she was sure few people noticed. She didn't sleep much either, instead, going to the old gym room to do stretches and work outs. Kai had been concerned for her, being one of the few guys she knew and was friends with. He had checked up on her constantly, asking if she was okay and whether he needed to do anything for her. It might have been because she was one of his players, or one of his friends, either way, she was fine as she did know they were friends though not as close as some of them.

Brooklyn began to dress for the yule ball later than she should have. She hadn't been asked to go to the ball and had instead decided to get dressed and dance with her quidditch friends or something. Her dress was a pretty light blue that she had recieved in the male. She didn't even know who had sent it considering she no longer had any family or anything like that. She had only worn it because it was pretty, not knowing it had been sent by her mother who was keeping an eye on her, against her father's wishes. Brook's mask was something she had made herself with all of the time she had gotten during her recovery.

Brooklyn was happy with her final result, her hair in an elegant up do and her makeup, which wasn't really seen, the absolute bare minimum and extremely comfortable. Brooklyn walked downstairs with her back straight, smiling a little when people looked at her and seemed surprised, as if they didn't know Brooklyn had existed before that night. She ignored all of the people who usually ignored her, instead, accepting the arm of one of the quidditch players on the Ravenclaw team who was one of her other close friends as he led her into the ball.

They danced and she was happy. Every once in a while another quidditch player would cut in and another student would try thought they'd only receive the same treatment that they had given Brook only hours before. She wondered if the boy she really wanted to dance with would ask her or if she would just have to continue dreaming on about it.
