Kai smiledat Acacia at her response. "Well butterbeer is basically sugar, water, and butter I believe, but it is actually really good. There's more in it, I'm sure but-..."
Kai trailed off as he saw one of his friends pointing something out to another. He glanced back to where they were pointing and saw McKenna hugging someone from where Kai sat. "Dude, that's Nico," His friend beside him said. Kai felt his heart drop and watched her as she stood back.

"So? She can hug another guy if she wants. I'm not gonna be that boyfriend..." Kai muttered the last part. He didn't want to insinuate that she was that girlfriend. It was true. He knew it, but he wasn't going to say it. Neither was any of his friends. He knew they thought that McKenna could control who he hung out with, yet Kai would never control who she hung out with, he wasn't that kind of a dude.

He saw one of the guys across from him lean over to speak to Acacia but didn't hear what he said. "Kai and her have been going out for a while now. It's basically Slytherin against Gryffindor right now. We both support our quidditch captains a lot and both of them are in a relationship. Our quidditch team isn't sure it's a healthy relationship anyway," He admitted to her, explaining to her what everyone else already knew so she wouldn't be left in the dark about what was going on. Kai was thankful his friends were there for him, otherwise, he was pretty sure he'd be a loner and would try to avoid absolutely everyone. He wouldn't mind that, maybe he would ignore everyone but a certain Ravenclaw student. Nope. Not again, He thought to himself.

He thought back to when she had responded to him asking her out on a date. She didn't seem ecstatic. What he had planned, she'd love it. He knew it, but would she even really want to go on it? He briefly worried that she may not even show up, but pushed it away, she wouldn't do tht to him would she?

He didn't go looking for McKenna when they left the Great Hall. Instead, he went to the library and wandered for a few minutes. He didn't know what he was looking for. He didn't even know why he was really there. It just seemed like a safe place to go. He was tired and wasn't sure what to do.

He took down a book Myrra had once told him about and smiled at the cover. She had loved the book and he had promised he'd try to read it, but never did. Kai moved to the leave the library, tired more than before. Why was McKenna not wearing the necklace? Was he really just the rebound guy? He had worked up the nerve to ask her out and she had said yes... Was he getting played like his friends said he was?

Kai groaned. From what he could tell, the Slytherin vs. Gryffindor game would be really big. It usually was, but this year would be bigger. The captains dating and having conflict? The captains being friends with their players who supported their captain and helped them out? Kai wouldn't be surprised if there was a fight between the teams at this rate. He sighed, hoping things would stay together and not leave Kai feeling like he was being used.

He thought back to the announcement Alastair made during dinner. Would McKenna even want to go to that with him? He heard two Gryffindors walking by him as they talked about the Yule ball. There had been an announcement in the houses the ball would be in five days. The day before the Slytherin Gryffindor game...Great.

Kai walked up a set of stairs, ignoring one of the pictures that called to him to give him a hard time about not having his hair tidy. Kai wondered who'd he encounter, sure he wasn't in the mood for Quentin or any Slytherin people who thought he was doing McKenna wrong. He'd rather encounter basically anybody else. Even a teacher.

| 6th year | Pure Blood Ravenclaw | Dialogue color: #c707f7 | Location: Library

Once Sophia was full, she picked up a napkin that lay on the table, wiped her mouth, her hands, then gave the napkin a once over look. It had a little Hogwarts crest on it, which was cute, and the edges were laced with fine gold silk. This school always seemed to have the best with everything. I bet even the prefects bathroom was lined with gold. Hopefully one day someone would settle her curiosity about that.

Sophia placed the napkin down onto the table before getting up off of the bench. Her bottom was feeling a little numb while stepping over it and heading towards the door to exit The Great Hall, and almost bumping into another student who was carrying a pile of books in their hands. "Let me help you with those." normally Sophia wouldn't really offer to help someone she didn't know, because Ravenclaws were known mainly to stick to their own. Screw expectations. Sophia took the books from the Hufflepuff girl, and they walked together towards the library. "How come you have so many books?" Sophia asked softly, but kept her attention on where she was going.

"I was told to return them after class. There isn't that many."
Still.. there is too much here for one person."
"Thank you for helping me, uhhh.. I don't know your name."
"Sophia Quinlan.. but you can call me Soph."
"Okay, Soph. I'm Sarah Williams."

Both of the girls smiled in unison.

The Library wasn't full with students, ever, so it was Sophia's favorite place to study. Everyone had to whisper if they needed to interact with each other. Both of the girls placed the books back into their rightful places, by just hovering the book infront of a bookcase, allowing the enchantment spell to do the rest. "I'll see you later, Sarah. I have some studying to do before my next class: Care of Magical Creatures." Sarah understood and they shared their goodbyes e.t.c, then Sophia was left alone at a little desk with a little lamp nearby. She loved this. She loved studying.

Ravenclaw - Sixth Year - Half-blood - Transfer student from King Cove (America) - #D66E5A

The time had finally come; there was no going back. Brinley couldn't take her eyes off the castle as her carriage pulled up in front of it. She hadn't expected Hogwarts to be so huge and gorgeous; compared to King Cove, this place was magical. She had changed to her Ravenclaw robes before the train pulled to a stop, so she now wore a blue and bronze themed uniform. Everything was quite different from America, but so far she wasn't complaining. She had already met nice people who where genuinely interested in her, and her new campus had managed to take her breath away.

Nothing really prepared her for the sight she would encounter once she made her way to the Great Hall. The ceiling projected what the sky would look like without all the clouds. She could see countless of stars and constellations; she had never seen something like that in her past school. Being the astronomy geek she was, she could feel her eyes widening and her mouth gaping like a fish out of water from the excitement.

Brinley slowly made her way to the Ravenclaw table to join her new classmates and sat down between a couple of random people. She felt a little bit left out, but she hadn't expected much, because it was only her first day here. The food served for dinner was delicious; different than fast food but just as delicious as any McDonald's burger.

She suddenly caught sight of Myrra Blake, Arya's twin sister. Both girls where gorgeous, but she hadn't expected Myrra to be a Ravenclaw like her. She was glad she at least knew one person at the long, seemingly endless, table. "Hi! Myrra, right? I never really got a chance to introduce myself in the train..." she spoke, her hand unconsciously combing her wavy hair back, "I'm Brinley Hathaway," she continued, offering the girl a friendly smile.

As the Headmaster spoke about the Yule ball, Brinley couldn't help but sigh in slight annoyance. She wasn't a fan of balls or dressing up because she didn't really consider herself pretty enough, compared to everyone else. And she doubted she'd ever get a date for it, too. The only thing that excited her was the fact that it was going to be a masquerade ball, and she'd always dreamed of attending one. She may be a goofy, geeky girl but nothing about her screamed hot... she looked mostly adorkable, as her past friends usually told her.

Slytherin - Seventh Year - Pureblood - #456F85

The journey to Hogwarts had gone by quite uneventful for Colton. His compartment only occupied by him and two other seventh-grade Slytherins who wandered in and sat down without a worry. He didn't really mind though; he may sometimes put up a tough act but right then he wasn't feeling cocky or aggressive so he just let it go. He spent the ride sketching on a small notebook that he usually carried around. Colton might've been what some people label as a "bad boy" but he had certain hidden talents and personality traits that he didn't show often and kept only for himself.

Before they arrived, Colton had gone and changed into his Slytherin robes, then exiting the train and getting into a carriage to be pulled into the castle. Being a seventh-year, he was quite used to everything by now. Not many Hogwarts secrets surprised him anymore, so he just avoided the crowds and made his way to the Slytherin table. He sat down with a couple of his friends and just chatted about what they'd done in the summer and what they expected from their last year at the school.

But he suddenly pried his eyes away from the table and his friends to look towards an unknown sound making its way towards their long table. A pair of heels echoed through the Great Hall and they seemed to belong to the girl who sat down a few students away from him. She was gorgeous, but he could see just how feisty and difficult her personality was. How could he tell? She wasn't wearing robes, oh no, she was wearing a leather dress, ankle boots, sunglasses and red lipstick, sticking out from everybody else in the crowd.

He couldn't stop his smirk from growing as he watched her and everybody else who stared. After they finished dinner, him and his friends made their way to the common room. He was slightly tired, but not ready to sleep yet.

Brooklyn bumped into a girl she didn't recognize, falling back to land on her butt. It was embarrassing, sure, but she didn't really care all that much. If this girl was in such a hurry or got hurt too, Brooklyn understood. She did appear apologetic at first, then she was "salty" as she had heard some students describe the response as.

She stood, looking as the headmaster appeared and told her she could go. She gave a small encouraging smile to the other girl, a tiny wave, then left. She didn't mind that the girl didn't seem very nice. She must have had a reason. Brooklyn continued walking, finding herself going slowly as she looked at the school she enjoyed.

She gave little waves to the paintings that recognized her. Some people and paintings believed her to be mute, people only heard her speak during class, when she was called on. For Brooklyn didn't often have questions. She saw one of her fellow Gryffindors, Kai Bolton, yet again as he walked, looking frustrated and tired.

She didn't speak up, instead, putting a hand on his shoulder and giving him a smile which he returned with a smile. "Thanks Brook," He said before Brooklyn allowed him to go on his way.

She enjoyed just listening and believed actions spoke louder than words, so why bother with words in the first place? She saw McKenna Posey and gave a little wave and smile as she continued walking. She wasn't really sure where she was going, but she found that wandering was making her happy.

Perhaps she'd go to her favorite room, an old room that might have served as an area for physical exercise, where she could practice gymnastics or dance. Both would allow her to feel better.

Brooklyn caught sight of Quentin Pine and and actually approached him instead of going back to her room to get her dance stuff. The students had at least another hour before lights out, so she wanted to spend time with the people she hadn't seen for a while.

"Hey Quentin," Brooklyn said softly, her voice might have been a breeze if she hadn't been facing the Ravenclaw boy. "Did you have a great summer?" Brooklyn asked. She felt herself get nervous and brushed it off, figuring that it was because it was the first time she had spoken to anybody that day other than her "adoptive" parents.

She said "adoptive" because of the fact that she had only been taken in to be taken out of the muggle world. They cared for her, but not in a motherly and fatherly way, in a way that depicted them doing the basics while being nice people about it. She looked at them more so as friends than parents. Which wasn't a problem with her really, or her parent like friends, for they knew she knew why she was taken in and didn't even bother trying to hide it.

She thought of herself as alone and so long as she had the friends that managed to see her friendly side as well as her friendly parentlike figures, she would be fine.

Slytherin Pure Blood
Transfer from Sarina Dorie (France)
Seventh Year Dialogue Color Code: #7300ff
Location: Hogwarts Dining Room
ImageSuddenly Katerina felt that she felt that whatever she was doing was clearly not going to be a good idea. So she just looked to the professor before her and gave a polite smile, "Sorry, but I uh, I need to go," she stated before making her way back towards the Slytherin Common Room.

Once she was inside, she returned to the couch and sat down, just staring at the fire. The brunette let out a sigh as she crossed her legs. Katerina really had no idea what she was doing right now. As she sat there, she overheard a small group of friends chatting. She turned her attention over towards them and immediately noticed that gorgeous blonde male again. She glanced at him up and down a bit before removing her gaze from him and back towards the fire. She bit down on her bottom lip again, knowing she had to control herself.

Katerina pulled the robe off, revealing her leather dress again which she never changed out of, just covered it with the robe. She draped it over the arm of the couch and began humming the song her mother used to sing her as a child. Those were the days she missed more than anything. Yeah, Katerina was never a sentimental kind of person but she loved her mother so much and just wished she could be here.

Slytherin Head Boy || Muggleborn || Seventh Year || Dialogue Color Code: #4F7AAD

ImageImage

Diego had eaten his dinner around some quidditch lovers that he hung out with because they were chill. They were the closest to his real personality that he could be around without giving away the fact that he always has on a facade. He was tired and he really didn't want to have to deal with anything at the moment, finding that going to his room seemed to be much more appealing than actually eating food. And he loved food.

He watched the drama around him, savoring every moment of it without showing it on his face. He watched as McKenna played a little game with Nico, as Kai noticed and looked upset (though he hid it well from most), from Brooklyn entering dinner late, the girl... Katarina? From his house that entered in all her leather glory, and Colton calling out to her. Everything was so interesting and strange at the same time, yet he couldn't help but want to laugh and let his true feelings show, though he didn't dare.

His thoughts wandered to what was going on this year, rumor wise. He had heard somewhere that Kai had been caught in a compartment kissing Myrra, but he doubted that had any truth. Their houses were pretty against each other and rumors about him would have been spread through the Slytherin house quickly in order to make him look like a jerk, or to mess with his head for the upcoming game. He had also heard a rumor about death eaters. Was that true? If it was, should he even be there? He was a muggleborn, and people knew it. He didn't flaunt it but people knew, and or had ways to find out. It was actually pretty scary to Diego, but he mentally brushed it off. Any one of these people could be death eaters, waiting for an opportunity to kill him or his friends.

He sighed, then looked up as Alastair, their headmaster, told of how they were going to begin the year by holding a ball. Diego looked at his friends curiously, unsure how he felt about it. He wanted to go, figured it would be fun to go, even when he was being himself he liked to dance. He considered his options, then nodded as his friends around him had done for no reason that Diego knew of. They all laughed when he noticed and he smiled good naturally though his feelings were a little hurt, even if he didn't know why they would be. They weren't trying to be mean, few people ever did to Diego ever since he began acting the way he acted.

Who would he ask? He didn't have a crush. He thought some girls were cute, but he didn't have a crush. Maybe he'd ask one of his girl friends to go. He might even ask out one of the other girls on the quidditch team, they were nice. For the most part. Yeah they were nice.

When dinner was over, Diego stood and began walking towards his house with his friends. They talked about how they were going to have a party in a few days, the day after the Slytherin Gryffindor game. They'd have special food (which Diego knew would end up being, well, spiked) and "games" as in truth or dare where someone would get hurt. Anyone was going to be invited, from every house, though if they were coming, they had to do at least one round of truth or dare themselves. It would be fun, potentially dangerous and or harmful, but fun. Right? Diego's moral compass was currently clouded but he found that he had little to no choice, or just didn't care. At the moment, he had friends and was somewhat happy. He broke off from the other Slytherin guys, going to sit near the fire.

He saw the girl in leather enter and show off her leather once Colton got in. Diego did nothing more but raise an eyebrow, his interest piked, though he didn't say anything or let on his interest.

I know this has nothing to do with the story line to the roleplay and I'm sorry for posting this here, but it's just easier to get everyone's attention this way.

I just wanted everyone to know that Zoey and I have been talking a bit more about the plot of the rp and we would love it if you joined in with it. So if you could, please check the OOC at least once a day when you get online and point out any ideas you may have for it and also to see what others have in mind. This can't work out the way everyone wants if there is no communication going on.

Also if everyone could, if you have unfinished character sheets, could you please finish them. There are some people who go to them to get information on characters they are interacting with and they can't be sure what is going on with them if it's not finished. I'm not rushing this, but I'd at least want all of the sheets finished within the next two weeks. I believe that should be a long enough time to get all of this done. If anyone has any comments or concerns about anything mentioned in this post or otherwise, please contact me through PM.

Image"Well butterbeer is basically sugar, water, and butter I believe, but it is actually really good. There's more in it, I'm sure but-..." After hearing him start talking about what the butterbeer was, she noticed that he trailed off and glanced over towards another one of the tables. She sighed and just returned her attention to the Gryffindor table. "Yeah, I wouldn't mind doing that with you Kai. Though I'm going to head to the common room," she stated before standing to her feet and beginning on her way.

Honestly, she had no idea what she was going to be doing. She just needed to get away for a bit and walk around. Maybe explore the castle. With a sigh she just found herself trailing around the grounds, thinking back on her parents. She hoped they were handling everything back at home alright. Especially with all of these rumors going around about the Death Eaters. Acacia just didn't want them worrying about her.

Though just as she was lost in thought, she was attacked from behind by the crucio curse. All Acacia was able to do at that moment was drop to the ground screaming out in pain. The pain was so unbearable she couldn't even manage to form any words. The red head screamed at the top of her lungs as she laid there on the hard ground in excruciating pain.

ImageAdriel sat in his classroom as he heard heels coming and going from McQueen's classroom. He just sighed and shrugged his shoulders before pulling out a flask he had in his desk drawer and took a couple sips from it. His lesson for the following day was now finished. He just hoped he wouldn't have any problems with the students on the first day of class.

The male leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, finding himself to be exhausted but he couldn't go to sleep yet. He had to wait until the students were in their common rooms and in bed before he did that. That was one of the rules for the professors. Honestly the only one that he seemed to quite hate.

Finally he just stood to his feet and made his way into his office that was connected to the classroom and pulled out his journal and began writing. This was the only way he was ever able to control his anger about anything and everything that was happening in his life. He just hoped that nobody would find out about him keeping a journal.

The male found himself completely lost in the book and couldn't seem to hear anything that was going on in the castle at that moment. Though as he read every now and then his thoughts would trail off to McKenna. What the hell was she doing with Kai when he knew there were feelings she hid from everyone that she still had for him. With a sigh Nico closed his book and sat at the window and just glanced out over the vast waters surrounding the school and into the darkness that plagued the night.

The night time was always his favorite time. Everything just seems to be a bit more peaceful in his opinion.

Death Eater/Hufflepuff Keeper // Seventh Year // color=Sienna

Image

At the mention of a Yule Ball, Ayria was immediately far more excited than she should have been. There was a sparkle of excitement in her eyes, and she was definitely fired up now. A death eater looking forward to a school dance was entirely out of character, but here she was, making eye contact with her sister Myrra who was at the Table across from her own. It was a bit convenient for the twin girls that Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw tables were both situated in the middle of the dining hall, because it meant far less squinting for the two girls as the searched for the other.

Rules, boring.. She toned out the headmaster as he began to mention rules about the ball and didn't tune back in until personalized masks were mentioned. Again her gaze met her twin's and a mischievous idea registered in her mind. She would totally enjoy this dance and definitely play on her "twin vibe" with Myrra. Matching dresses and masks anyone?Guess who?

Ayria found herself in a complicated situation once the announcements and the feast was over. She was bored out of her mind as she roamed the halls and she had no one to talk to. That was a dangerous combination for the restless twin, so she made her way directly towards the Hufflepuff common rooms. There was always at least one person there, so she felt there wAs a good chance to chat someone up, hopefully Olria or Ethan, but she wasn't picky. She'd talk to anyone at this point as long as they were willing and at least mildly interesting.

Ayria entered the common room in her confident manne, her walk holding it's signature attitude as she scanned the room for a person to talk to. She nearly lost all hope, but her eyes finally landed on a slightly familiar male Hufflepuf student that she commonly overheard others call 'Nico', quite frequently to be honest, but she wasn't entirely sure if it was his real name or not. She knew that he dated McKenna for a time, but she had never spoke to this guy before now. Well, here's to firsts, right? Raise a toast, because here I go. Ayria mentally joked, approaching the boy who seemed to have his sights outside.

"You know, judging from experience, it's more fun to actually go out there, than it is to stare at it from a window ceil like some fairytale princess. It's especially fun at night." The brunette chimed in sending him a wink, her voice lacking flirtatious intent, so it was more than likely just a friendly gesture instead of a flirty wink, though with Ayria that was never certain. She was just striking up conversation for the sake of keeping her mind off of her sins, but also off of the Kai, McKenna and Myrra problem. Why couldn't he be happy with his girlfriend and leave her sister alone? Or break up with his girlfriend and treat Myrra like a choice instead of an option. The more she thought about it, the more she was tempted to put a curse on Kai, so she tried to redirect her thoughts before they quickly escalated into plans. She didn't trust herself to leave the situation alone, so she hoped chatting up this 'Nico' guy would distract her from what she really wanted to do; to expose Kai for the cheating boyfriend that he truly was, though she knew Myrra would hate her for ages if she ever found out Ayria was even tempted to reveal Kai's private life to other students. Her sister always was the gentle heart, which was why Ayria had to grow a backbone. Someone had to be the strong sibling, and that responsiblity fell on Ayria from a young age.

"I'm Ayria Blake, a seventh year. I've heard a few people call you Nico as I've passed you by on my way to lessons, is that your real name?" She inquired, leaning her back against the wall so she could stand nearby, but also put a respectful amount of distance between the two of them as well, "And if you don't mind my asking, what's got you in here and your mind out there?" She added, her brow lifting and chocolate eyes staring at him quizzically. She wasn't typically this curious, but she was dying for compatible company after that dreadfully long feast.

Hm, he's kinda cute... Too bad he's not cute enough to be worth dealing with McKenna's wrath. Ayria thought to herself with a chuckle, trying to decide who she'd ask to the ball. She had two or three possible candidates in mind, but she wasn't even sure if any of them would say yes. She wasn't the type of girl to wait around to be asked. Come tomorrow she would be on the prowl and ready to start asking boys to the Yule ball. She was a bit forward, but she liked it that way. She knew her sister would have a much harder time finding a date, especially if she didn't get her head out of the clouds and start looking at someone other than Kai. Just thinking about Kai and her sister brought her to clenching her fists, knuckles turning white without her even noticing it. She really wanted to knock Kai's lights out, one good time. He was dating Kenna and leading Myrra on, and that definitely wasn't cool in the younger twin's eyes.

Especially after she heard the rumor that he'd kissed Myrra on the train. She barely ate a bite at the feast when a fifth year student asked her about it. She lost her appetite on the spot, and now she regretted it, feeling the empty pit forming in her stomach already. Thankfully she ate enough to keep those awkward stomach growls at bay. Her stomach growling the whole time she spoke wouldn't have been a very good first impression, and she was definitely glad that it at least kept silent about it's detest for her decision to stop eating at the feast.

Hufflepuff Half Blood Sixth Year
Dialogue Color Code: seagreen
Location: Hufflepuff Common Room
ImageThe Hufflepuff found himself completely lost in thought and the silence overtook him just enough for him not to hear anyone step into the common room with him. Though he didn't acknowledge the person until he heard them speak. It was a female's voice, one that he seemed to remember from the train. "You know, judging from experience, it's more fun to actually go out there, than it is to stare at it from a window sill like some fairytale princess. It's especially fun at night."

The male immediately turned his head towards the female and found that it was one of the twins, though at this point he wasn't exactly sure which one it was so he kept the names from his mouth, not wanting to make a mistake. With a slight chuckle he responded, "Yeah, it probably is," he responded before hearing her introduce herself.

"I'm Ayria Blake, a seventh year. I've heard a few people call you Nico as I've passed you by on my way to lessons, is that your real name?" Nico heard her question as she leaned against the wall, "And if you don't mind my asking, what's got you in here and your mind out there?"

Nico just let out a soft sigh at the mention of what was going on in his head and he just shrugged his shoulders as he began answering her numerous questions. "Well, it's short for my real name...one that I really despise and as for what's on my mind, it's complicated."

The Hufflepuff stood to his feet and began to explain without saying any names. "You see, my ex is dating a guy I've noticed she has been treating like a rebound boyfriend and I can tell that the guy has some strong feelings for her. Though even though she is treating him like he is a rebound, I can't help but notice she has feelings for him as well. I really love this girl but I'm just not sure how to go about telling her..." he stated before returning his gaze out the window and adding, "I'm sorry about dumping all of this one you since you were just trying to make conversation and not trying to hear about my horrible love life."

If he were being honest with himself, he wasn't even sure why he was being this honest with some girl he had just met anyway. This was definitely unlike him. He hated showing his true feelings about things and would much rather keep them to himself because in the past that's how all kinds of problems started. So ever since he promised himself he would keep his mouth shut and not have to bother with anyone else's lives again. People seemed to be much more happier that way.

| 6th year | Pure Blood Ravenclaw | Dialogue color: #c707f7 | Location: School Grounds

Sophia stopped writing and looked up towards the schools talon that was announcing again.

Quidditch!?! hell yes! she was excited for that. Ravenclaw Vs Hufflepuff. She remembered the last match she went to where she got overly excited about how well her house was doing, but almost lost her favorite scarf in the wind that she was waving around so much in one hand. She was pretty sure that she almost caught another Ravenclaw in the face by accident with her elbow. The crowds were cheering which caused the stands to rumble, the brooms were swooshing past in the air causing her hair to get messed up as they were keeping up with their position in the game, and two seekers were fearlessly battling one another for the snitch. They had missed colliding with Hagrid with how tall he was in the stands, and that was from just sitting down.

Snapping herself out of her thoughts, Sophia checked the clocks time on the wall.

Studying was over for her for now, so she got packed up and headed out of the library, her feet then carrying her towards the main doors at the front of the school. It was nice outside, so she figured she'd take some time to spend it out there and get some fresh air. She wouldn't of minded if someone tagged along, because from time to time company was nice instead of being alone all the time. Alone time was nice though sometimes.

She crossed the courtyard that had a large stone fountain set within the middle of it, and on each corner of it was the four houses mascots. That thing had been around for centuries, so any student that was caught defacing it in any shape or form, would be punished by the headmaster personally. That fountain alone held history for Hogwarts. She knew that with taking Hogwarts: A History classes. Just as she passed that fountain, she turned her head to catch some students from Slytherin, running and shouting with their books covering their heads.

Peeves, the schools Poltergeist was throwing dung bombs at them while laughing.

"Ikkle Firsties." he'd cry out, still hovering above them as they ran.
clouds of green smog engulfed them, causing a foul smell to drift through the surrounding area.
Sophia covered her nose, and hurried away. She was heading across the bridge and towards the circled stones that wasn't too far from Hagrids hut.

Ravenclaw Head Girl // Seventh Year // Currently at: Ravenclaw Common Rooms // color=crimson

"Now, let the feast begin."

Myrra wasn't feeling all that hot. She was ignored by everyone ever since her run-in with Kai. If she knew that it would cause everyone so much trouble, she would have avoided it entirely. She didn't even pay attention to the festivities. She was too worried about making eye contact with the Headmaster. She was terrified that he'd find out and judge her. She did not wish to tarish her reputation just because she was helping another student study. The feast began, but only in words. Myrra didn't eat a single thing. She managed to stomach pumpkin juice, but she was barely keeping that down due to how upset she was. Either McKenna told everyone, or someone heard Kai and McKenna arguing, because she was getting dirty looks from several fellow Ravenclaw. Well, I'm infamous today.. She thought to herself bitterly, using her fork to toy around with the food on her plate. She definitely didn't feel very hungry. How could one study session bring all this madness?

"Hi! Myrra, right? I never really got a chance to introduce myself in the train..."

"Yeah, It can get fairly hectic on the train. You're new right?" She asked, taking a sip from her cup of pumpkin juice, tilting her head in an interested manner. Most of their fellow Ravenclaw kept to themselves, rivalry and whatnot, but she preferred to get to know her rivals. It was more fun to know exactly what they were capable of, "I won't go easy on you if you're competitive with grades, just so you know." Myrra responded with a playful wink. She was serious, but she'd hold no grudges if Brinley was a challenge. She enjoyed a good challenge academically.

"I'm Brinley Hathaway,"

"It's nice to meet you, Brinley." She chimed happily, as if she wasn't upset just moments ago. She stood slightly so she would be able to reach and offered her hand for a handshake to the other girl, admiring how naturally pretty the other girl was. No wonder she had a flock of boys around her, it all made perfect sense now. Though Myrra simply smiled, she felt she'd get along nicely with this girl, "Have you met or seen any boys you like? I'd be glad to help" She asked a bit curious, although there wasn't a lot of weight behind her words. It was simple conversation. Though, Myrra was at least an acquaintance with most people in their seventh year... If her crush was a seventh year, Myrra thought she could at least lend the other girl a hand. Then as if the headmaster knew what she was thinking, he spoke of a dance.

"Witches and Wizards, as you may have heard, we will be celebrating this year, the anniversary of Hogwarts yet again as arrived to us. In order to celebrate it, we shall be hosting a Yule ball within the week for the eldest of the students. The day has yet to be decided yet it shall be announced as soon as it is known to me and your teachers."

A Yule ball? Myrra immediately smirked. She wasn't much of a party-goer, but she definitely loved organized parties. She was very excited to say the least, although she didn't have a date in mind, in fact, she wasn't sure who she'd dance with at all... though she'd get to the technicalities later. Her eyes met her sister's from across the room for a split second, and for the first time in ages, she felt they were on the same page without saying a single word.

"The ball shall be at night and hosted here in the Great Hall. The occasion is formal and in consideration of the fact that students might not have the needed formalities, students will be permitted to visit Hogsmeade in order to purchase or order the needed formalities, though we will be going by the years. In order to be able to go, you must be at least a fourth year. One through three, you shall be allowed to instead have a smaller celebration in the courtyard though you will not be permitted within, elder students will be permitted outside."

Shopping, double awesome. She was about to jump out of her skin, but noticed that her new acquaintance Brinley wasn't as excited, judging by her sigh, "Oh no you don't!" Myrra chuckled and shook her head in a disapproving fashion. There was no way that a girl hated going to a dance. Every girl she knew wanted to dance with cute boys and play cinderella at least for ONE night... There was definitely another problem here, and Myrra was determined to fix it. "You are going, and we are going to have fun. We are going shopping and I will help you get all dolled up. If you think you met a lot of boy's on the train, they haven't seen anything yet." Myrra told the other girl. She understood she came off as a bit demanding, but she definitely wasn't entirely serious. If Brinley truly hated dressing up and dancing she'd totally back off, but she wasn't going to do it unless she was absolutely certain the other girl loathed parties and dancing.

"As you prepare for this ball, remember to be respectful and have fun. You are going to be expected to do at least one dance though we will not expect too much from you with this considering not all of you have been formally trained. Finally, this Yule ball is not a normal ball... Witches and wizards, I have received requests and have decided to allow this ball to be a masquerade ball. You shall be given the opportunity to create a professional style mask within your spare time and have all the needed supplies provided. You need only draw a sketch or discover a picture and we shall have the masks made,"

As soon as masks were mentioned, Myrra's eyes met Ayria's again. They had something in mind immediately, and they were definitely thinking what the other thought they were. The twin thing, it kind of rocked right about now. Once they were given permission to leave, Myrra stood up, waving to Brinley, "I was joking, by the way. Although, if you really would like to go, I will help you look absolutely perfect. My sister can help. See you in the common rooms?" She shot the other girl a wink. She made her way towards the Ravenclaw common rooms when she finally heard the rumor about her and Kai. She stopped dead in her tracks, face engulfed with mortification. Kissing!? Really!? Who spread that? She was completely outraged that someone was spreading lies about her and immediately stopped the two girls dead in their tracks. She angrily reprimanded the two students for gossiping, and set them straight with a long, thought out lecture. She told them that nothing happened between her and Kai, and that they were irresponsible and disgraces to Ravenclaw for spreading lies. She also told the third years that she'd turn them into toads if she ever caught them gossiping about other people again. Sure, she wasn't allowed to actually turn them into toads, but what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them, now would it?

She entered the common room, sitting down in front of the fireplace with a long sigh. This year was already becoming a nightmare, and classes hadn't even started yet. She would just have to avoid Kai for a while, that would fix things, right? How hard could it be? They were in completely different houses.. Easy right? Though she really didn't want to, she knew it would be the best line of action to protect her image. My life sucks.. She thought to herself, laying down on the couch and closed her eyes. She didn't even care if anyone stared or made fun of her. Besides, she wasn't even that close to anyone in her house anyway, so what did it matter if they knew she was depressed or tired?

Brooklyn had spoken to Quentin for a few minutes before hearing something and frowning. She gave him a little wave before walking towards the noise with a confused and concerned face on. As she walked, she found she nearly made a wrong turn. the noise that she heard sent shivers through her before she could really process what she was hearing.

Brooklyn heard the screams, turning the corner of one hallway, off the normal path of students. She saw before her a horrific sight that she had seen before. A girl, a red headed girl in Gryffindor robes lay on the ground screaming, surrounded by death eaters. The curse on the girl was one Brooklyn knew very well, one she had seen performed on her family, one of the unforgivable curses.

Brooklyn had a flashback that caused her head to split in pain by itself. Her aunt, dead on the floor of their apartment. Her cousin was screaming as the death eaters stood around her, all staring mercilessly at her under their hoods though Brooklyn couldn't tell. Brooklyn was frozen in place. One of the death eaters had put a spell on her that hadn't allowed her to move. She knew she was to be tortured next. She hated the fact that she was scared, hoped that her cousin might live longer so Brooklyn wouldn't have to feel the pain she knew her cousin was going through. She screamed, begging them to let her and her cousin go, as she knew her aunt was already dead.

Brooklyn came to on her side. She rolled up to look at the source of the screams, confused for a moment before remembering. She had passed out for less than half a minute. She moved, pushing herself back with her hands as she tried to get further from the sight before her. "Leave her alone," She screamed at the death eaters.

Brooklyn, though she wasn't sure what she'd do, managed to pull out her wand and get on her feet. She thought about what to do, as she moved to hide behind an armoir two feet away, thinking about what she had been taught. She couldn't reach the corridor now that she was on the wrong side of the hall. She had gone down the hall to see into the dark and now was too far from the hall to believe there was a chance she might get out.

She heard steps and felt tears forming as she shook in her fear. She took a deep breath, then turned, ready to cast a spell to disrupt the curse, then run, but ran into a death eater who grabbed her. He twisted her hand, causing Brook to cry out. The fellow manages to get a hit on Brooklyn, causing her to go down. She heard the man begin to speak the unforgivable curse though she manages to interrupt his spell with a simple light one.

As Brooklyn moved to run, she heard the death eaters laugh before she heard the curse completed. The pain that engulfed her caused her to trip and fall to the ground again, twisting in pain. Tears flowed freely though Brooklyn couldn't scream, finding herself only able to shudder and shake under the pain.

Diego had been talking to the headmaster about the rumor of the death eaters when the two heard the scream. They looked at the other before taking off. When the two rounded the corner, they saw Acacia, the new head of Gryffindor, and Brooklyn, a quiet Gryffindor girl, both alone, abandoned in the hall.

"Mr.Jordan, help Ms.Marie to the medical wing. I'll be right with you," Alastair states as he pulls out his wand and goes down the dark corridor towards Acacia. He kneels beside her, checking on her though he does not let his eyes leave the shadows around him, the dead end not comforting to Alastair at all.

Deigo moves to Brooklyn, picking up her limp frame gently as he carried her towards the medical wing. She began to whisper and Diego leaned in to listen. He had been friends with Brooklyn just because he believed she was one of the few people that might have actually liked him for him and not what he pretended to be.

"Brook, you're all right, it's okay," Diego stated to her as he carried her quickly to the medical wing. She shook her head slightly against his shoulder, whispering "no" over and over again. She finally managed to croak out what she had been meaning to say. "I saw.. face,"] She whispered as she shuddered in remembrance of the recent pain she endured.

Diego frowned but continued to carry the girl to the medical wing where he saw waiting for Alastair to come back with teh Gryffindor head girl, Acacia.

Kenna continued to roam around Hogwarts, completely lost in her thoughts. She walked towards the balcony outside and brought her arms up to fold over her chest. A soft sigh escaped over her parted lips as she knew that the Yule ball was coming up but she was more than ready to get Quidditch started. Even though her and Kai was opposing teams, she still liked him or she thought. McKenna grabbing the railing before her and sighed again. She knew that she didn't like or love Kai. He was simply a rebound guy and he was just stupid enough to fall in her trap - Literally. Kenna hated the way he and Nico ended but want to soon rekindle their romance once again. She thought about asking him to the ball but then again, it's guys asks girls unfortunately. McKenna closed her eyes for a moment and let out a soft breath. She bit her bottom lip from all the thinking and lowered her head while turning heel and walking right back inside. Kenna wandered back into the Slytherin Common Room and saw Katerina sitting there. 'Oh, great.' She thought to herself and rolled her eyes, sitting down on the edge of her bed as well.

Quentin continued to study up for this year's lessons but looked up Brooklyn as she came up to him. His eyes locked with hers as he smiled a little. "Hey, Brooklyn." Quentin spoke, nodding his head at her question. "I did actually. Even though I did nothing but get my Hogwarts supplies earlier than everyone, studied and had family BINGO night." He responded then was just about to ask what about her but she waved her hand at him and trekked off. With the shrug of his shoulders, he leaned back against his headboard and opened up his book again. He didn't really care about the spectacle that was going on but knew that the Yule ball was approaching and wondered who he should ask. Again Quentin shrugged his shoulders then went back to looking into his book.

Dillion waved his wand and had multiple things floating around the room and aligning in place with perfect precision. His spine tingled as he felt a presence behind him, looking to see Katerina before him and asking if he needs any help. With the shake of his head, he sat his wand down and sat down on his desk. "Katerina, I hope you know that my wink was nothing more than a gesture that I caught you glimpsing at me." He spoke softly towards her just as she said she had to go. Dillion nodded his head as he waved her off then wondered what his buddy next door was doing.

Without a simple thought, he got up from his desk and walked next door, leaning against the door frame with his hands inside of his pants pocket. "So, everything alright?" He asked while walking a little bit further into the classroom, chuckling a little bit.

Axel got up and eventually left the Common Room. He wandered around Hogwarts with his hands stuffed inside of his jacket pockets. He eyed every single being before him and wondered which one he come persuade to cross over to the dark side - Being a Death Eater, basically. No one seemed potential enough, honestly as he eyed another fellow Slytherin female named McKenna. Axel have heard a little bit about her but knew that she would never cross over simply because he two beaus might not like her at all then. He just continued to wander around, seeking out potential contenders that he could challenge later on. He went out to the balcony and just let out a scream of frustration simply because he did not want to be there. Axel plopped down on the top stair and just stared at everyone, pointing his wand at them and seeing them tremble with slight fear. It caused him to laugh as he was going to have fun destroying Hogwarts once and for all.

"Well, it's short for my real name...one that I really despise and as for what's on my mind, it's complicated."

"I see. I've heard that I can handle 'complicated' fairly well, so I'm all up for listening if you're willing to talk." Ayria replied, it felt like the least she could do was listen, because he had a lot of sins to atone for. Though he had no idea how much 'complicated' she was dealing with. Death eater, Myrra's sister, Hogwarts student, and Quidditch player? She had a lot of responsibility on her plate.

She didn't expect him to stand up, but she remained where she stood, leaning against the wall with a curious expression on her face.

"You see, my ex is dating a guy I've noticed she has been treating like a rebound boyfriend and I can tell that the guy has some strong feelings for her. Though even though she is treating him like he is a rebound, I can't help but notice she has feelings for him as well. I really love this girl but I'm just not sure how to go about telling her..."

"Not to be nosey, but I assume we're talking about McKenna?" Ayria chimed in a lighthearted and amused manner. She was sometimes underestimated due to her wild and flirtatious behavior, but she was extremely observant. She paid a lot of attention to those around her, mostly because she was envious of them and didn't have a particular group of friends. She never hung out with the same people more than one or two days in a row, afraid that the other Death Eaters would use any friends she made as future leverage against her.

Then she shot a knowing smile before continuing to explain how she knew who he was talking about, "Kai's been lightly flirting with my sister.. and McKenna is captain of Slytherin team, I knew you dated her because I always notice fellow Quidditch players even when we're off the field."

"I'm sorry about dumping all of this one you since you were just trying to make conversation and not trying to hear about my horrible love life."

"Horrible? I wouldn't say that. At least you have one. Besides, I don't mind listening." She chuckled a bit, a small smile on her face as she thought about it. Sure, it was complicated, just like Nico had said. She'd give anything to have an intense and complicated relationship with someone.

"As far as telling her goes... There isn't much you can do unless Kai and Kenna break up.. If you tell her now, you'll just be seen as a the guy who wedged a knife in their relationship.." She replied, running one hand through her hair as she tried to think of another alternative. This was a situation she'd never been in, but she was pretty good at coming up with plans, especially mischievous plans, thanks to her friendship with Kris. She'd definitely have to thank him one of these days, but she kept a bit of distance ever since she became a death eater, despite missing having close friends immensely, "I could help that happen so you don't have to get your hands dirty." She offered in a nonchalant manner. She didn't mind being hated for it, by Myrra or anyone else. It wasn't like anyone would want to befriend her after the plan came into action.. Ayria knew she was looking at spending the rest of her life in Azkaban prison.

"I take the fall and you get the girl... Does that sound good to you?" She asked with a quirk of her brow. She wasn't sure about the integrity of this guy, but she definitely was willing to get her hands dirty if it meant keeping Kai from hurting Myrra, "I don't mind a little notoriety..." She sighed aloud, laughing afterwards. She was used to being hated, so she didn't mind taking one for the team, or, well, Myrra. She knew that there was a chance that Nico could deny her proposal, but there was also the fact that she barely knew him. She could always deny anything he said if he decided to tell anyone about their little "chat"..

Then she saw a girl approaching, interrupting her conversation to let her know that she had a visitor that wasn't from their house. Apparently a Ravenclaw boy had come to see her. She wasn't familiar with any of the Ravenclaw boys, but held up a finger to Nico, indicating that she would return shortly. She'd humor whoever it was, that would give Nico time to think on the proposal.

She exited the common room, tilting her head at the boy from the train, "So we meet again." She chimed, a curious expression on her face as she examined him. What could he have to say that was this important? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't one to ignore someone when they wanted to talk, "I was talking to someone in there, so please make this quick.." She informed George, pointing back at the common room. She bit the inside of her cheek, waiting to hear the reason behind his determination to speak with her. Time was ticking and it was almost time for bed. She didn't want to be caught out of bed after hours, she definitely wanted to go to that dance.

ImageAlthough Acacia was unconscious she was able to vaguely hear another female's voice, one of whom was trying to save Acacia but ended up caught in the cross fire and got hurt herself. Though shortly after, the area was clear and the headmaster with a male stepped into the area. At this point she was able to hear the voices but wasn't able to make out any of the words.

Acacia was lifted into the headmaster's arms and was taken down to the medical wing, following behind Diego with Brooklyn. By now the red head was completely out of it. She felt the bed beneath her then everything went numb and she couldn't hear anything. Finally she went into a deep sleep and didn't wake up until the next morning.

With a soft yawn and a stretch she sat up in bed finding that everything hurt. When she opened her eyes, Acacia found herself being in the medical wing. All she could remember was getting attacked by Death Eaters last night, the vague memory of another girl's voice was heard as well.

"Ma'am, another girl, one who was attacked with me, is she still here?" the red head questioned, hoping that she would be so she would be able to thank her for trying to save her.

"Yes, Brooklyn is laying over there," she pointed towards the other end of the wing before returning to her duties.

Acacia carefully climbed out of bed and trekked her way over towards Brooklyn. She stood between her bed and the one to the left of it and glanced down at her, hoping that she wasn't still asleep. But even if she was she started speaking. "Hi Brooklyn, I just wanted to thank you for trying to help me. I really appreciate it. Just know I have your back after this. You deserve it," she stated to her before starting on her way back to her bed.

"Do you have all of your lessons figured out for the next couple of days?" he questioned as he tried to think about whether or not to ask Annie to the Yule Ball. He knew it wasn't really necessary for professors to have dates, but he wouldn't mind one.

Although he didn't even want to be around all of these teenagers and their drama, he knew he had to be. The headmaster personally asked him to attend as a chaperone for the ball so there was no getting out of it, he had to show up whether he wanted to or not. "Are you going to the ball?" he questioned, hoping that he was because at least he'd have someone to talk to. Of course if Barfield and Cain attended he would speak to them but it wouldn't be the same.

Location: Hufflepuff Common Room
ImageWhile listening to Ayria speak, he leaned against the wall and slid his hands into his pockets. He couldn't seem to imagine why she would be so willing to help him out like this, though after hearing that it had involved her sister, Myrra a bit as well he immediately understood. Though he didn't see a reason not to go along with it. If there were a way for Kai and McKenna to break up and Ayria is willing to take the fall for all of it, he mind as well go for it.

Though just before he was able to accept the offer, she was pulled away from him by someone standing at the Hufflepuff door. She held out a finger to him, telling him to hold on. Nico returned his attention outside the window with a sigh and leaned his head back against the wall. He hoped whatever Ayria had in mind would work without getting him in trouble with either Kai or McKenna. Well, Kai he wouldn't really care less about, McKenna is the one he doesn't want to upset.

Ever since he met the girl during their first year, he hated hurting her even if it were on accident. Nico would always feel bad about it for weeks until finally getting over it. Girls were more fragile than guys were with their emotions at least and he never wanted to hurt her feelings or make her upset at him.

She laid her robe upon the back of her chair where her scarves lay and changed into her pajamas, consisting of cloth shorts and a tank top. Katerina knew McKenna was in the room with her, but completely ignored her presence. She was in no mood to deal with any drama right now, all she wanted was sleep.

Katerina climbed into her bed and pulled the blanket over her petite frame before letting out a soft sigh and closed her eyes. She tried to block out every sound that was coming from the students in the common room down stairs and the others who were getting themselves ready for bed as well.

Finally after laying there for almost an hour, she fell asleep.

Annie was in her classroom preparing a lesson for later on in the year as she was always quite good in steps ahead as she was a bit strict but she wanted them to learn the best so they could help the wizarding world.

She looked through the different stuff from last year. She was excited for the new year to happen.

George looked at her and nodded.

"I am sorry to have bothered you, I just wondered if maybe you would like to go to the Yule Ball with me. I understand if someone already asked. I was nervous about this."

He said running his fingers through his hair looking at her. She was beautiful her brown long hair, her brown eyes. She was so beautiful and he was so nervous about this entire thing.

He put his hands together. The sweaty palms making more sweat together.

Kai woke a few days later, tired and not really sure what to do. School had ended early and he had taken a nap for a little bit. Kai had gotten his dress robes which really looked like the robes his father had worn during his mother and father's wedding though it had been half muggle and Kai's muggle side had been confused and laughed at how Kai's father looked, though the wizard side was slightly offended at it.

Kai looked at himself, then reached for his mask. It was gold and had simple swirls on it. He hadn't gone all out like some people, preferring the simplicity for the sake of simplicity.

Kai walked with one of the other chasers on his team. It was a girl who had a boyfriend in Hufflepuff that she had been with for years, that and people knew they were really just friends. Not Kai and Myrra just friends, but just just friends if that made sense.

He gave the chaser a little wave as she joined her date who gave Kai a little wave back before Kai stood inside the ball, looking for Myrra to make an appearance. Where was she? Would she even want to dance with him at all when he was only the rebound guy? Kai sighed, feeling his heart weigh heavily, not wanting to do anything really. He couldn't recognize half of those at the ball, which was good and bad.

He heard a slap and smiled a little, there was the first mistake of the night, there would be many more too. Kai wondered if the teachers cose masquerade just so that the students would have more drama between them and end up with the teachers having to do more in the students life as they repremanded those who got in fights or such.

Diego went upstairs upon dropping Brooklyn off, making sure she'd be okay the next day before going back to his normal schedule. Diego dressed for the ball in clothing that wasn't new, but his cousins from when he went to school at Hogwarts a year or so ago. Diego was okay with the hand-me-downs, but it wasn't his favorite. He saw a bunch of people with brand new robes and all of that and he sighed inwardly, brushing it off. People wouldn't know his robes were used. They didn't need to know either.

Diego's mask was something his little sisters came up with. It was cute and adorable and had glitter. He had gotten some clever comments on it's appearance but he just smiled and said his was more fabulous than anyone else's, that and he loved his little sisters so he just didn't really care what others thought.

Diego walked down with the group of guys he had planned the party with. They had told people about the party as well and had already set it up early that day. The group walked and were a little rowdy, but not as obnoxiously as some of the first years.

Diego and his group entered the ball, and moved out. Diego walked to the center where he led some girl from Ravenclaw out onto the floor with him. She was a transfer, one he didn't know. She had been happy enough to dance with him and seemed to be having fun.

He had no clue what her name was either. It was actually kind of funny. Few people had the guts to ask a girl to dance, and Diego had done it. He was proud of himself, as himself. He rarely did it since he knew that people looked down on displaying what you are really like.

Brooklyn woke in the night, once. Shaking and crying from the nightmare that had woken her. Brook was calmed only once the nurse had given Brook something to allow her to go back to sleep. Keeping her from having the nightmares anymore, thankfully.

Brooklyn woke in the morning, staying in a ball on her bed, shaking and shivering in her own thoughts when she heard a voice and jumped. She looked to the girl behind her, trying to calm her raised heart rate. It wasn't a death eater, she was all right, there wouldn't be death or more pain from her.

Brooklyn just nodded slightly. "Um... yes. Thanks," She managed before curling back up in a ball. She thought back to her nightmare, seeing her cousin and aunt getting tortured all over again. She shook and felt tears at her eyes and her chest ache. It was horrible, all of it and she hated this feeling of helplessness she was feeling at the moment.

She thought back to the night before, back to what Quentin had said. She had smiled at what he had said, finding it funny that he had gotten sipplies early and played BINGO all summer being the guy he was. He wasn't one she would expect to do such a thing, BINGO that is. There was no surprise with the school supplies.

She sighed, not wanting to seem rude to the girl, but not able to do anything more in her current and fragil state.

Brooklyn rested for the next few days most of the time. Her teachers gave her slack though she turned all the assignments in on time and quickly. She was quieter than usual though she was sure few people noticed. She didn't sleep much either, instead, going to the old gym room to do stretches and work outs. Kai had been concerned for her, being one of the few guys she knew and was friends with. He had checked up on her constantly, asking if she was okay and whether he needed to do anything for her. It might have been because she was one of his players, or one of his friends, either way, she was fine as she did know they were friends though not as close as some of them.

Brooklyn began to dress for the yule ball later than she should have. She hadn't been asked to go to the ball and had instead decided to get dressed and dance with her quidditch friends or something. Her dress was a pretty light blue that she had recieved in the male. She didn't even know who had sent it considering she no longer had any family or anything like that. She had only worn it because it was pretty, not knowing it had been sent by her mother who was keeping an eye on her, against her father's wishes. Brook's mask was something she had made herself with all of the time she had gotten during her recovery.

Brooklyn was happy with her final result, her hair in an elegant up do and her makeup, which wasn't really seen, the absolute bare minimum and extremely comfortable. Brooklyn walked downstairs with her back straight, smiling a little when people looked at her and seemed surprised, as if they didn't know Brooklyn had existed before that night. She ignored all of the people who usually ignored her, instead, accepting the arm of one of the quidditch players on the Ravenclaw team who was one of her other close friends as he led her into the ball.

They danced and she was happy. Every once in a while another quidditch player would cut in and another student would try thought they'd only receive the same treatment that they had given Brook only hours before. She wondered if the boy she really wanted to dance with would ask her or if she would just have to continue dreaming on about it.

Death Eater/Hufflepuff Keeper // Location: Just outside of the dance // color=sienna

"I am sorry to have bothered you, I just wondered if maybe you would like to go to the Yule Ball with me. I understand if someone already asked. I was nervous about this."

"It's no trouble at all. Sure, I'd love to go with you. No one has asked me yet, so of course I'll go with you. See ya around.." She replied with a kind smile, waving in a flirty manner back to George, not that she remembered his name at all. So far she was doing pretty good at avoiding it. Though she knew she couldn't avoid saying it forever, eventually he would find out. Though she thought he was hot, he was kind of a stranger, so that made it a bit hotter to her, what could she say? She was a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I'll go with you, but only because you're hot. Though, she did already have it set in her mind that she wouldn't let herself fall for George. She returned to the common rooms to talk to Nico, but realized that it was getting very late. She had a lot to do, so she'd have to keep things short and sweet, "Shoot me a thumbs up sometime and I'll know the deal's on, Nico." She said as she passed Nico once inside the common rooms. It was late, and she had a lot of drawing, so she went up the stairs towards the girls dormitories. Now all she had to do was draw out her and Myrra's masks and get some rest. She flopped on her bed and withdrew a sketch paid, beginning to run her quill across the paper. She didn't have to use a pencil, because she already had a mental image of how she wanted their twin masks to look. She was the artist, definitely not Myrra. Myrra couldn't draw a stick man on a good day, let alone an intricate masquerade mask. They definitely were going to mess with people's minds and really play up the 'twin thing'. She wanted to see how many people could tell the two of them apart, it would be a fun experiment to say the least.. Once she finished, she put her sketchpad away and stared at the top of her canopy bed. There went finding a date.. now I can just rest easy and slack off in class.. She thought to herself with a smug smirk. She found a cute date, so she was happy, even if there wasn't any current chemistry between them, but Ayria wasn't looking for a boyfriend, just arm candy. She couldn't have a boyfriend with the life she was forced to live. It would be too dangerous, and she doubted she would be allowed visitors in Azkaban.

Image

Before she knew it, it was the day of the Yule Ball and she waited for her date outside. She didn't want to walk in by herself, she'd at least wait for him a while, or until she caught a glimpse of her sister. She definitely didn't like flying solo, especially when she was all dressed up with no where to go. Well, and she was kind of nervous. Did she do a good job on her masks, their masks? Would everyone be able to tell which girl was which? She was totally freaking out. What if her date went in with Myrra by accident? She didn't know him that well, they just had classes together, so would he be able to tell them apart? She began pacing the hall as she waited for George to walk her in. They were a bit fashionably late, but once her allegiance was revealed to everyone, it would all make sense. Though as a typical Hufflepuff, she wasn't really enjoying running late. She enjoyed being punctual, but something always got in the way, even at birth. Myrra made it out first, making her born five minutes later. She was always the sister that was late for everything. "I swear to God I will walk in there by myself and I will dance with the first guy I see if he's not here in ten minutes.." She mumbled to herself under her breath, feeling pretty pathetic standing there all alone.

Myrra finally got her matching dress and mask, but kept it hidden from everyone else until the dance. She went with a boy from Ravenclaw, but they weren't close. They weren't even going together because they liked each other, at all. They weren't even friends. They were an aesthetically pleasing couple, so they chose to go together so they could take a beautiful picture for their parents. She wasn't sure if anyone would even recognize her anyway, especially since she was matching Ayria from head to toe. This would be a challenge for everyone in the room. Whether or not they could tell the difference in the twin girl's jaw lines or not.

She knew it wasn't exactly fair, but she really didn't care at this point. She didn't even want to be here, but attendance was practically mandatory. There was no getting out of it, and she couldn't even go with the one person that she wanted to dance with. Her and her date entered the dance on time, took their pictures, and went their separate ways. Myrra approached the punch bowl, pouring herself a cup before pacing the large room. She admired the flowers and many other decorations, wondering if Kai and Kenna would make an appearance as a couple or not. Though she stepped on her own foot, figuratively speaking, knowing that she shouldn't even concern herself with that. She had no business, considering he was with someone else... but ever since that day on the train she couldn't help but wonder if there was something between them, something more than friendship. Though since the train, she'd avoided Kai. She would leave class as soon as it ended, she would sit all the way across from him in classes, and she refused to make eye contact. She had to keep her distance, she couldn't let herself admire him, because McKenna was always close behind to take a sledgehammer to every single one of her fantasies before they even began. It was depressing and a torturous cycle of envy and reprimanding herself. She wasn't sure if she could take this much longer... She wasn't sure if her date would even dance with her, seeing as they came together with no expectations. She couldn't see him in the crowd anymore, but that was to be expected. She barely knew what he looked like without the mask. She couldn't identify one person in the room, twin or no twin. She kind of felt bad tricking everyone with the matching dresses that she and Ayria came up with. It was hard enough telling who a single sibling person was, let alone twins. She felt like she had an unfair advantage against everyone else in the room, though wasn't that the point? So you could dance with whoever you want, with the possibility that they would never recognize you after the dance when the masks come off? It was a great idea in theory, but who was to say their angry girlfriend wouldn't rip off your mask mid-dance?

She took a drink from her glass, letting out a soft sigh, before downing the entire cup. She wasn't sure if the punch was spiked or not, but for once, she was kind of hoping that it was. She felt kind of bad ass with a mask on, like no one could touch her, but she knew deep down that it was just wire, lace, ribbon, and sequins covering her face. The anonymity was empowering, and she definitely was beginning to enjoy her stroll around the room, watching couples dance, conversing with each other. She was envious, though she couldn't find the only person she wanted to see her in this dress; Kai. Where was he? She knew he was likely already here, she just couldn't find him in the huge crowd of students.. Did she get all dolled up for nothing?

Zayden wasn't exactly sure when his mother sent his suit, but it was definitely well appreciated, especially since he didn't have the money to purchase one from hogsmeade, being muggle born and all.. He had a lot of trouble with his tie, and by the time he got dressed, he'd discarded it entirely. If it didn't want to be tied, he wouldn't force it to be. This was more comfortable anyway, it didn't feel like there was a fancy noose tied around his throat anymore, and that made him one happy fellow. He walked in by himself, choosing to go stag. He didn't find a date in time, and he was actually really fine with that. It meant he could dance with whoever he wanted, and he wouldn't get chewed out for it. He searched the crowd, dancing a few times with any girl who asked. He wasn't picky, especially with a mask on. A few girls recognized him, seeing as he was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team with Kai. Speaking of Kai, he would have to look for him.. He was wondering how his buddy was doing. They'd known each other for years, but aside from Quidditch, they didn't have a hell of a lot in common. He searched the hall until he found his fellow Gryffindor, throwing his arm around Kai's shoulder's in a casual fashion, "Where's your girlfriend, man?" He asked with a quirked brow, but it could have been concealed by his mask. He was totally unaware of the problems between McKenna and Kai, but that's because unless he was playing Quidditch or flirting, his mind was constantly on his sketches and paintings. He was always behind on drama, and could totally care less. He gave his friend time to answer before looking around. There were plenty of girls, and they were Quidditch players. He was going to force the other Gryffindor to have fun if it killed the both of them, "Did you hear about the truth or dare game? Where are they having it? I'm all over that." He asked Kai, waving to a girl who was giving him a wink, even if he didn't know who she was, at all.

"Oh, if you don't dance with a girl by the next song, I am dancing with you. That's a promise." Zayden smirked at his friend, leaving him with that thought before meeting up with the strange girl he'd waved to and danced with her as well. He wondered if he would find anyone worth being more loyal to at this party, but he highly doubted it. Zayden didn't have a girlfriend his entire time at Hogwarts. He was an artsy type who didn't like being disturbed once he got an idea in his head. He didn't have many friends, but the ones he did were uncharacteristic of him. It was hard to imagine Zayden was friends with any of the people he chose to hang out with. Zayden, despite being very flirtatious, was a laid back guy who loved Art... He wasn't very complicated, yet at the same time, he was a very complicated individual. He was a never ending paradox of surprises. One minute he was quiet and reserved, the next he was flirting and dancing with girls he barely knew.

Kai smiled as he felt Zayden's arm around his shoulder. He smiled at his friend and for the first time that night, he felt like he might actually enjoy himself. It was turning up to be a good night, escpecially when he caught sight of Myrra.

He could tell it was her, he knew Ayria and her would dress the same, but he knew he wasn't wrong. Myrra was... Myrra. She wasn't trying to control Kai, she wasn't trying to use him, and she seemed to genuinely like him as he was. He smiled at Zayden's words, nodding his understanding.

"She's on her way I guess and yeah, I don't know if it's the best idea, but I said I'd go to the Slytherins running it. It's in one of the old abandoned classrooms. By the old charms room," Kai stated simply as he looked at Myrra. Unable to take his eyes off of her.

"And I think I found one," Kai stated simply as he moved forward, leaving Zayden behind as Kai moved towards Myrra. He knew if anyone recognized him, he'd get in trouble with Kenna, but he found he didn't care. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be with Kenna if she was going to control everything about him. Besides, he thought he liked Myrra better, like a boyfriend should like a girlfriend.

He approached Myrra carefully, taking her drink from her with precise movements before setting it on the table and looking at her as he held out his hand. "Myrra Blake, can I have this dance?" Kai asked with a smile. It was possibly the cheesiest thing he could have said, but Kai liked cheesy, it was cute.

Kai gave himself a moment to take in Myrra's dress and her face. He did it quickly, his attention returning to her face quickly as he moved to tug her out to the dance floor anyway. "Come on, it's a great song," He teased as he dragged her out. He stopped in the center, letting both hands rest on her waist, not her hips as some boyfriends did to their girlfriends. He wanted to be polite, that and he wasn't sure Myrra would want him to put his hands on her hips.

"I know you. You and your sister dressed the same. But Myrra... Well... " Kai didn't finish, unsure what else he could say. He didn't want to say what he wanted to say. Little did he know he'd end up saying it later that night anyway. "You look nice," Kai said simply instead of what he really wanted to say. He hated that he couldn't speak freely to her.

"Who'd you come with?" Kai asked, hoping, praying that she said nobody. He knew it was selfish to wish that Myrra, who deserved happiness, didn't have a date, but he wanted it badly. That meant that this was entirely okay and was no issue whatsoever except on his part, and he already had an idea what he really believed with himself and those around him. The reality that is.

ImageAcacia remained in the medical wing for the next couple days until she was able to walk around without hurting. Though luckily she was able to attend the Yule Ball. She found herself in the Gryffindor girl's dormitory getting ready for the ball. She pulled her black dress on and slid a pair of silver heels upon her feet. After, she proceeded with her makeup and hair before applying the last accessory, her mask.

When finding that she looked the way she wanted, she slowly made her way into the Great Hall, into the crowd filled with fourth years all the way up to seventh years. With a soft sigh she grabbed a cup of punch and proceeded to take a seat. Seeing as how she was there alone, she had no one to talk to. But honestly, if it weren't for her mother buying her the dress and forcing her to go, she wouldn't even be here. Acacia would much rather be in the common room catching up on her studies and enjoying some peace and quiet for a change.

The red head sipped from her punch before setting the punch down on the seat beside her and leaned back against the back of the seat. She hoped someone would come and give her some company, she hated being singled out in a dance like this with not even a single person to speak to.

Immediately he began looking around for the other professors, thankfully finding Annie Barfield and she looked breath taking. With a soft smile he approached her and spoke, "You look gorgeous," he stated. After a brief moment he spoke once more, "Would you like to dance?"

Though once he stepped in, he spotted Kai talking to Myrra and from what it seemed like he was asking her to dance. All he had to say was he better not be putting the moves on her while with McKenna. If he were to hurt her like that him and Kai would have some rounds to go and he would hold nothing back. Nobody hurts his best friend that way, feelings or no feelings it doesn't work that way.

The male sighed as he took a seat and kept an eye on Kai. Myrra, he personally had no problems with her. Kai knew what he was doing, Nico was sure of it. Though if he happened to notice something going on that he needed to tell McKenna, he definitely would. Even if she believed he was telling her all of this because he was nothing more than jealous. Which of course he was jealous of her relationship with her rebound guy, but that wouldn't be the reason for coming to her and telling the truth about what he saw. He would be doing it for her protection. No girl deserves to be treated that way.

ImageKaterina stepped into the Yule Ball wearing a black dress, one of her favorite styles and a mask that she worked hard on, made it herself. Though truth be told, she actually enjoyed dances like this, but because it was organized by Hogwarts, being here wasn't really something she wanted to do but she went anyway. She was just happy that she didn't have to worry about wearing those horrible robes without being called out on it. But honestly, she began wearing them after a couple days because she was tired of hearing all the crap from the other Slytherins and professors about wearing her robes.

Once inside the Great Hall, she poured herself a cup of punch and sipped on it, taking in her surroundings and watching as everyone enjoyed themselves. Part of her hoped that some sort of drama would happen tonight so her night would be fulfilled. She always seemed to find amusement in other's problems, especially if she were the cause of it. Katerina was the type to sit down with a bowl of popcorn and watch as something she caused brought up a huge fight. The entire time she would have a smile on her face.

Because of this many times in her life she has been called a sadistic bitch, but she just nodded along with it and accepted the words. Katerina knew who she was and had no problems with it.

Though Olira wasn't the ball kind of gal she still went just for the hell of it and because mostly she had nothing else to do. The young witch didn't really put much effort into her outfit since she decided to go last minute so she owled granny to send over that simple lilac dress she brought over the summer that she was wearing right now in fact. Olira had her mask done just in time and it was also simple since she honestly didn't want to spend more than fifteen minutes drawing the darn thing. At least the hufflepuff was having some fun. Right now she was dancing with this guy who was way taller than her, they were laughing because he honestly didn't really know how to dance so she had to guide him a bit and they bumped into a couple of people in the process."Looks like you got two left feet" she laughed. "Oh hush" the boy responded with a smile and a chuckle. Once the dance was over tough, the guy offered to get her a drink and Olira accepted. He was a nice guy, funny too, maybe she could make a new friend tonight?

The two danced again with the same laughter and giggles in between when Olira's mind drifted off to McKenna and Quentin. They both didn't seem to be here yet which was odd because being McKenna she would have thought that her best friend would be all over the ball. Quentin on the other hand, she didn't know if he was going to come or not but if he did she'd recognize her tall beanstalk with or without mask. Olira definitely wanted to have a dance with him just to tease him and stand on his feet while he did all the work.

Kris's dress robes were the new ones his mother had bought him a month ago for a dinner they had with company. The dinner was with some ministry officials that worked with his father but all Kris could really remember was how big that one mans nose was. Remember that he let out a chuckle as he smoothed out his robes and looked in the mirror. With a smile he took out his want and lightly tapped his hair and watched it change from it's red color to a blonde. With that he wet his hair a bit and parted it a little before flipping his hair over on one side making it look as if he used gel to style it.

Tonight he was going to have some fun and maybe surprise or confuse some people which to him was still fun. With his hair done and passing his appearance check in the mirror the gryffindor slipped on his mask and headed out the door unwrapping another yellow lollipop. It didn't take him but only 5 minutes of standing in the great hall before he was snatched away by some girl to dance but he didn't fight it because he said he was going to have fun. In the back of his head thought Kris was hoping that Odette was here.

Though this was the second day at Hogwarts Stella was finding her way around pretty easily despite earlier when she had gotten lost going to the loo when the steps began changing, honestly how can anyone get on those with out getting dizzy? Shaking her head the death eater did her cuffs on her dress robes, she was not about to go in a dress, she hated them, they were uncomfortable and the heels she had to wear with it were hard to walk in. The slytherin couldn't even maneuver in anything that was more than an inch off the ground. Stella was glad she had a heads up about the ball before hand so she had time to get everything done before she got to Hogwarts.

Stella pulled her collar neatly down and opened a couple of the top buttons on her dress robes so she didn't suffocate. The young death eater was sent here by no other than the head death eater in charge. She was like the little helper to them and a pet in the sense she usually never left their side and was given commands that she'd obey. See Stella was forced to become a death eater because of her fathers failure. Honestly her father didn't want her to become a death eater but this was punishment for his constant failures and now Stella does everything she is told or not she will be forced to watch her mother go through a slow and excruciating death. Her mission here at Hogwarts is to watch the other death eaters and make sure they carry out they're duties.

The head honcho never really told her to keep an eye out for their safety but she has taken that task upon herself and will try to keep them unharmed, okay maybe a little harmed but not dead because hey, they're are four of them and one of her. Pushing those thoughts back Stella slicked her hair back, grabbed her mask and exited the room down to the great hall where music and dancing was currently happening. Upon entering the great hall the first thing that caught her attention was the music, it was a little bland but dancable.

The slytherin had made sure she put her mask on before entering and was now making her way down the steps with her hands in her pockets. Her eyes slowly scanned the waves of dancing students as a sly smirked crossed her lips as her eyes landed on a stunning dark haired girl standing by the punch bowl. Her target was set and Stella moved in for the kill. "May I have this dance?" she questioned with a smirk and a hand held out. Right now, blending in was her best choice, plus having a little fun wouldn't hurt.
