Polaris' hair falls in smooth waves down to nearly her elbows when she lets it remain down. The colour is Dark Brunette, it naturally falls in a way that frames her face almost perfectly.

E Y E S
Common to the tribe, Polaris' eyes are a dark brown or golden brown depending on the light you catch her in. Though they are fairly common all over the world, her eyes are still another stunning feature.

O D D I T I E S
Polaris has small scars that litter her body here and there simply from living in the woods with the tribe, hunting, gathering, and just plain working. Though none of her scars are overly noticeable, one mark on her body is. As she found on most of the relatives of the Chiefs family, Polaris has a birth mark that looks like a wolf paw on her right shoulder, it is said among the tribe people that this mark gives the Chiefs bloodline power over the beats the wolves.

A P P E A R A N C E
Polaris has always been a girl of beauty. While she doesn't look like every Lady in the court her beauty is a natural one. She possesses the Dark brown/golden brown eyes of her native heritage. Her eyes, beautiful and sparkling, tend to have a spark of suggested mischievousness. Her hair has a natural wave; the type that even after a long day in the wind, one could comb their fingers through without catching or tugging. Dark brown, it tumbles to around her elbows. Though she prefers her hair down and free, she will usually be seen with it up in some fancy style as is expected while she is in court.

Polaris has a lithe body, one that was gifted to her by genetic fortune and maintained by the exercise that comes with living in the woods. Though small she is very quick and extremely light on her feet, skills learned from years of hunting. Her curves are subtle but there, limbs are soft, and her skin is fair and clear, a trait not often seen in the natives, but one gifted to her as her mother too had lighter skin.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

As a child, Polaris was very much her mothers daughter. She was and still is to this day a very kind and sweet girl. Though opinionated and rather stubborn, she looks to achieve justice in its purist form. Even as a child she had a good head on her shoulders, knowing peace was the first option, and to use violence as a last resort of self defense.

Within the tribe, Polaris' opinionated ways have never been looked down upon, but encouraged. Her opinion, like everyone's opinion in the tribe matters, and is taken into consideration when any decision is to be made. However, this trait has not helped her in her transition into her betrothed's home. There it is an age where women are taught in values of being seen and not heard, and her habit of stating her opinion is more often than not looked down upon, though her words in the court are renowned for their strength and intelligence. Not the sort to bow down and suit expectations, nor will she allow ignorance to go unchallenged. Her particular stubbornness can rub some people the wrong way, especially the other men within the castle.

Being headstrong and opinionated, with a knack for clever remarks has gotten her into trouble on more than one occasion. Despite her stubbornness, Polaris does have a mind for politics. Calculating and observant she knows how to compromise and communicate with even the most stubborn of people, the people who never change their mind once its made up are the people Polaris is most skilled at dealing with.

Polaris is intelligent in both academics, and strategy. As a child she picked up reading and writing very quickly as it was something she needed to know for when her future as Queen came along. She is very gifted at calculating the odds and finding a way to have a situation fall into her favor. She will read people and figure out exactly what she needs to say to bend their will. Luckily for most people, she tends to use her talents to assist more than manipulate, and though she can be manipulative she refuses to be unless her life is in danger and the situation is dire. Most of these skills are things she learned for life within the castle.

Due to the war, and the way the King has treated her people in the past, Polaris bestows little trust in the people's "humanity" especially the Kings. She does not have faith in these people doing one thing purely because it is the right thing to do. Like her father, her own sense of morality and honor is strong. Polaris prefers face to face confrontations instead of backstabbing and meddling. Which she had found is very rare in the castle.

Polaris was born the night of a great storm, that brought with it a bone chilling cold. The storm raged on through her mothers labor, and an hour later, the storm had lifted, the north star could be seen, and Polaris took her very first breath. The Chief's first born was named Polaris, which in Wahy'a means 'North star', as she was born the night the north star appeared for the first time that year. Her birth was celebrated by the tribe for days, and she became their most precious possession.

Polaris was raised as any member of the tribe would be, learning the traditions and legends of the people, and how to survive off the land. As she grew, she grew an only child, which was a rare occurrence in the tribe, and during the time of war was a great risk to the Chiefs bloodline, but her mother would not conceive again, and if she did, she miscarried. Because of the war, Polaris missed learning a lot of what the other children of the tribe learned, as the Chief could not risk losing his only heir to this war. When she turned four however, that all changed.

After great debate her father promised her, his only child, to the eldest son of the King of Serval, the war between the two people ended, and Polaris was gifted her freedom. She got to learn with the other children, but once every moon cycle she was brought to the Castle where she learned an entirely new set of skills. She always hated these visits as she hated the castle, and wasn't exactly a fan of the people inside either. She learned her lessons quickly, but worked harder on her lessons in the tribe than her lessons in the castle. She truly was the bloodline of the tribe, and feared the day she would have to leave her people and her home.

As time continued on, she still remained her fathers only child, and with the day she would be taken and wed to the Prince approaching quickly a great sadness seemed to fall over the family. Despite her parents grief, Polaris continued to ensure her people that all was well, she would wed the man she was to wed, as it was worth their freedom, she never gave up hope.

The year of her seventeenth birthday, her mother delivered two healthy babies, a boy named Dakota, and a girl they named, Akita. Her parents took the children as a gift from the gods, something to make it easier for them to part with their eldest child when the time came, and the time came all too quickly. A few months before her eighteenth birthday, her father gifted her with a wolf pup he had found stranded and without a mother on one of his hunts, something for her to keep close to her heart, and to nourish as she had helped nourish her people.

On her eighteenth birthday, as promised, Polaris left her home to start her life in the castle, a place she had never truly liked, and where her free spirit was often chained down. She still holds her head up high, willing to sacrifice her happiness for her people, but hopeful happiness would find her in her new life.

So begins...
