Description
Chief Marlo is a rather tall man, he stands at 6 ft 4 and has broad shoulders and a thick waist. His hair is dark brown and thick, it falls in waves to the centre of his back and held out of his eyes by his heavy head piece. He has a strong jaw thick with stubble. He has bright green eyes that darken when he is angry. He is evidently well muscled and usually wears a simple wrap around his waist and a thick cape held on by a string of animal claws and teeth.
Personality
Marlo is a gentle man, but is very set in his ways. If he must protect his people he will, and he does not trust outsiders, not even those from other tribes are fully trusted by Marlo. He cares about his tribe a ridiculous amount, he loves every person in it, every new baby sparks his love. His opinion is hard to sway and first impressions are important, for example if you come to the shows of his motherland and cut down her trees then nothing you can do will change his opinion of you, the settlers are murderers and nothing more. He is a rather modest man, not quite believing in himself, he does things as well as he can because if he does not then he knows he will lie awake at night, regretting it. He will never accept what is unknown to him.
Equipment
He carries on his person a small hand axe and a bone dagger. When he knows he is going into battle, as he has done with other tribes before, he carries an oversized hammer.
History
Marlo has been chief of the tribe since his father died on natural causes. He was 21 when he took over, which is considered quite young. He soon gained the trust of his people though after leading them into battle against a tribe that was going against Atlias. By the time he was 30 he had had two children with a beautiful woman named Selen, he was so deeply in love with her, but she drowned a few years after Jimitia was born. Apparently Atlias loved her too, to have taken her so soon. Since then Marlo is a little nervous around water and it is obvious to many that his humour has been lost. He loves his people but jokes often escape him and his smiles seem forced. He has warned the people of his tribe to stay away from the settlers, only the wolf men are to go near them and he is extremely proud that Atlias chose his son to lead them. He does not want a war with these people, not yet.
