Red had been twirling in her room when the sirens began. Peter had escaped again. It was becoming tiresome to have to hear the stupid siren play over and over again because they lacked the smarts to hold him in. If they would let her have him she could solve the problem. It is not like anyone would care if the boy was gone or not. She sure wouldn't have felt bad for it. He drove everyone nuts, including Alice. Red had stopped twirling and was heading for her bed when she heard a familiar sound coming from next door.

It sounded like her pups. She ran towards the door and pressed her ear against it. Above the siren she heard it loud an clear. It was one of her pups! "My pup is in the next room! It is so close, I can hear it. Please let me out, I just want to see my pup. It sounds very angry. I could calm it down. Just let me out, please!" She begged to the closed door. She could hear feet pounding the floor. Her nails grew longer and her teeth grew sharp. She dragged her hands down the door leaving marks. "LET ME HAVE MY PUP!!"

Vitas sidestepped the tray as it was flung at Peter. peter wasnt her concern, Aldric was. She understood nothing of what he said. Instead speaking calmly she motioned him forwards, as if against his better judgement as she herself stepped closer to the bars she had him right where she wanted him. As his hands steamed from the silver her right hand held him fast. ASnd yet when he tried to resit or grab her there was naught but smoke. "You are cute when you are angry. I wish I had more men like you before coming here to work."

However it was his tone with her of wanting to mess around that had her tilt her head, without even moving a solid SMACK was heard as she pointed at him, a terse tone to her voice. "Do not take that tone of mind with me young man. You need my help and you know it, who knows, your reqest for a quiet room, darker paneling, it may be granted, But only if you cvalm yourself down!" It was strange, she smacked him yet her hand never actually moved. So how did she actually reach through the bars to whack him in the snout ?

It didnt matter. For all she knew she set him off again. But her magic however negated the burning, healing him as fast as thevburns came if not faster than his own healing ability worked. "I am not here to kill you. What would I, you.... gain from death ? Nothing, that is what." She leaned close to him, "I have something for you. Something you have been wanting. I have given you my name, and you have given me more than enough to be fair exchange. So it is time for me to be fair with you and give you more.... in exchange for likewise from you." Mirrors floated around them, little brief images from her life, he was free to pick one, and they could chat over it.

Infact with him in this state was possibly the most words he'd ever spoken to her. Which she found odd.

Jack was a little startled by the sound of Peter running down the hall and banging on his door.
"For the last time, you little shit, I'm not one of you're fucking lost boys!" He shouted out of his padded room in vain. He was there to protect children, but that didn't mean he had to like any of them and that kid was getting on his nerves.

"Fuck! This probably means it's going to be longer before the inspection, then the therapy sessions are going to be delayed. The doctors are going to be pissed, just what I need." He muttered to himself. "Thanks for fucking it up for the rest of us asshole!" He shouted knowing that no one would hear him.

He was bored of sitting in the corner waiting for whichever doctor was planning on showing up. For a minute he began to question whether or not he had turned invisible, but he learned the hard way that he had lost that ability, so he quickly dismissed the notion.

"I wonder which one of those whack jobs is gonna come in here for inspection today. The warden hasn't come to see me since I was brought in. Hook seems to have some obsession with Peter. The Cajun voodoo doctor doesn't seem to like me too much, thinks I'm faking. Now that Vitas woman, she seems different than the others, I wonder what her angle is on this." Jack mused to himself after lying down on his bed to relax. He had figured out who a lot of these doctors really were, and some of the other inmates, though he hadn't met all of them. It seemed that a lot of them didn't even know who they really were or they were hiding it really well.

As her hand struck his face, she would find that his head didn't move like most other men, though his eyes closed in annoyance, the amber, now glowing orbs opening slowly to stare at the woman as she scolded him like a child, which only angered him further. His lips twitched, his massive canine teeth visible as he growled loudly at her. Within a flash his free hand moved to grab her, aiming to grab her by the neck, hair, collar, breast, arm - whatever he could grab - and begin to squeeze.

His grip would lessen, however, as his attention was captured by the floating images of the woman before him, his hand also loosening its grip on the bar, slowly beginning to either ready itself to grab her like the other hand, or retract into his cell. It was this momentary lapse in rage and action that calmed him down, and Jade began to slowly return to his eyes, which remained glowing as he looked around his body, letting out a few huffs, nostrils flaring and whole body seeming to shrink witch each sharp exhale before returning to its naturally massive size with each inhale. He looked to each of the moments, then to the ground, to Vitas, and assuming his hand was grabbing her, would release her from his grasp, and retract his hand from the space outside his cell as he turned to look around again; seeing the damage he'd done to the place. The broken chair, the bed that was just gone, in the Mirror Dimension, and the shards of wood from the chair after he had slammed it against the ground.

"I did this....." He spoke gently, his soothing bass voice barely above a whisper. His hands began to shake again, and his breathing sped up, labored, agonizing. High-pitched, feral whines escaped his throat as he looked at his still-healing hands. He looked at Vitas and turned his back to her, moving to the corner where his bed normally was, leaning against the wall and sliding down to sit, facing the corner. "Leave." he said. He wasn't requesting or asking her, but demanding she leave him alone. His voice was clear and stable, and he didn't turn to look back at her. He didn't care any more; he just wanted to be left alone.

Doctor Henry Jekyll twirled a pen around his fingers, looking over case files on his tablet in his office. At ease, calm and comfortable. It was these moments just after he had taken his medicine that Jekyll felt most peaceful. Making notes on how Aldric's condition could relate to his, Jekyll pondered if it was right for Vitas to hold such an interest in him. No doubt the other staff members were passionate about their work but at it's core this was still a hospital, dammit. A place of healing. A place to cure these troubled souls, not torture them further. The warmth of Jekyll's room provided a resonance no sound could provide.
BRRRRRRRREEEEEE
A piercing, horrid screech attacked Jekyll from the alarm system. He clasped his hands over his ears, letting go of the pen as it rolled underneath his desk. "Bloody orderlies!" he shouted, understanding that it would most likely trigger Aldric's transformation and undoing weeks of therapy. Shit, he realised, Alice! Jekyll rushed out of his office, moving past the bumbling orderlies through hallways when one called "Doctor, Alice called for you, this way!" much to Jekyll's irritation who responded "I know. Now turn off that bloody alarm before every inmate in the asylum starts showing their inner Hyde."

Turning a corner, Jekyll's eyes widened as he saw Alice on the ground kneeling. Distraught. Unstable. He sighed, hand on his forehead as he muttered underneath his breath "Jesus... Useless staff." and proceeded to move up slowly behind her, letting her know he was present by gently saying "Alice? It's Henry." then placed a hand on her shoulder. He hoped she would not hit him.

She was relapsing into her delusions on Wonderland. Her scattered whispers were difficult to read, but would come back to Cheshire and how Alice had 'won'. Like a father trying to console his daughter, Jekyll knelt down with her and rubbed her back. Once again he hoped she would let him. "You're alright, Alice. You have won. There are no Hatters, no rabbits here. Cheshire is contained, she can't leave unless you let her. You did it." Jekyll went to dry her tears. "Open your eyes, Alice. You run this place. You are the warden. No one here has any power over you. Just as you showed me that I have power over Hyde. This Wonderland is yours to control."

Standing up, Jekyll composed himself and issued orders to nearby orderlies. Some had known him as Hyde while an inmate, and were more than willing to listen to his words. "Make sure the siren remains off. Set up extra security around the Wolf Den. Peter Banning is delusional, not psychotic. Play into his fantasies to subdue him. James, Peter is only interested in finding you. If he does, your taser is your sword. Don't argue with him." Moving back towards Alice, Jekyll's voice was gentle once again, "Wonderland needs you, Alice."

"Peter Banning did what?" Hook roars upon hearing the news, shaking his cane at the orderlies, infuriated and somewhat panicked at this turn of events. "What? Did one of you bloody buffoons forget to lock the damn door!? This is all standard procedure!"

He reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a bottle of ibuprofen and downs a couple pills. With everything going suddenly south, and those blasted sirens blaring through his ears and into his skull, Jame's head began was already pounding. He held his head as he was about to join in the attempt to contain Peter when he heard Alice's wailing. She has taken this for the worst. No, not now Alice..! damn the fools! Why do we even have these blasted noise makers here? They mostly only serve as an agitator!

Then the sirens were shut off, he lifts his head, shifting attention from the collapsed Alice to see Dr. Jekyll approach from around the corner. Thank God, somebody who has it together! He watches as Henry takes over to try bringing poor Alice back to her senses, offering at least some relief to Hook.

He actually admired Jekyll, the man, the miracle. He's a complete turnabout case from having bouts of being the cruel Hyde, to the dominant personality now, a well educated man of high ethical standing. He shared in the belief that there are no monsters, only sick minds that need treatment. He was not just sane in this situation, he was lucidity personified, and Hook appreciates any he can get around here.

"Good form, sir, you are of exemplary character, sir Jekyll," he responds, not hiding his appreciation for his assistance in the situation. His headache too was now clearing, able to think again clearly again. By Henry's suggestion, he reaches for his taser. "Of course, though... I hope not to have to use it extensively. I... hope she's feeling better when this whole debacle is over with."

He then courteously bows to Dr. Jekyll before heading down the hallway, along with some of the orderlies, glancing over Peter's cell door briefly before heading onward. As I thought, it isn't even locked. This was likely not to go down without a fight, but this time he wasn't going to get caught off guard.

"Peter, Peter Pan! Where have you off'd to, boy?!" He calls out, checking back and forward vigilantly. "Turn yourself in and it'll be to the brig without any of the nastiness, captain's honor!"

Peter Pan

"Oh! What marvellous, tremendous fun!" thought Peter excitedly as he dashed through the halls. As soon as the klaxons went off Peter wooped with joy as he tried to mimic them, it was certainly a call to arms, one of the Lost Boys must have spotted a pirate and began blowing the horns! The chaos was everything he could have wanted and more; the thrill of the chase, the blood pulsing through his veins the roar of each side as they tackled each other in the art of war. Why, he could almost fly! If only he could have Tink back then he would fly! That dastardly Hook must have been planning a surprise attack and was attempting to take Peter and the lost boys by the ears. But they were too smart for those old unimaginative adults, youth would win the day!

As Peter rounded a corner he narrowly missed being hit by a tray arrow. As the tray arrow smashed itself into a wall he cheered himself for his quickness and his innate ability to dodge danger without even thinking about it. Turning about another he had found his prize. Two large but gentle looking men stared at him, then at each other and cursed their terrible fortune. They seemed to confer with one another and nods their heads as if deciding something rather important. If one could hear them you would have heard them discussing Dr.Jekyll's orders and the fact both of them had seemed to have forgotten their tasers. The taller of the two men stepped forward and coughed "Damn you Peter! We have orders from our cap'n to take you in! Now come quiet-like!"

Peter beamed as he picked up a broom sword and swung it in front of him in a flamboyant manner. "Steady on pirate! How lucky you should meet your fate at the hands of Peter Pan!" he called out gayly as the man who spoke rushed towards him. With an expert agility Peter stepped to one side getting past the orderly and brought his sword crashing down upon his victims back. The staff member called out and fell to the floor where he laid still. Peter turned to the last remaining obstacle and struck fast and true as he thrust his sword straight into the scallywags heart.

The orderly, who had just been poked quite harshly with the end of a wooden pole paused for a moment before dramatically screaming and collapsing to the floor. Peter satisfied he had dealt with the issue jumped over the bodies and ran on ahead. As soon as he was out of sight, both orderlies sat up thankful their acting had paid off and ran off to find some tasers now they knew which direction Banning was heading. Peter had felt a pull, almost an instinct to run a certain direction, like someone important was calling him. Begging him to find them, like a song he couldn't get out of his head, like the first time he'd met Tinkerbell he had to find-

"Peter, Peter Pan! Where have you off'd to, boy?!.

Pan swung around immediately, his eyes alight his heart beating like a flutter of a hummingbird. It was Hook. Running at full speed he traced back to where he could hear the unmistakable tone of his nemesis, the black-hearted privateer.

"Turn yourself in and it'll be to the brig without any of the nastiness, captain's honor!"

Peter snickered loudly as he came onto the corridor only a hundred feet away from the old sea dog. "Lookie lookie, I got Hookie" he laughed as he brought his broom sword up to the fighting position."Where's my fairy friend you maggot burger!"

Theodora had been in her office at the other side of the asylum, nowhere near the cells of the inmates. Her office was rather unique in the way it was decorated. The walls were lined with bookshelves, bookshelves filled with children's stories, fairy tales and old classic literature. This served the purpose of coming across as a child-friendly environment as well as providing research material on some of the inmates, though the stories were usually the watered-down child-friendly versions of what really happened. In addition to the bookshelves, she had a large collection of crystal balls scattered throughout her office. She used them as skrying tools so she could watch what was going on in the asylum, her own sort of surveillance, with no obvious cameras to get in the way. At the back of the room was her desk. Across the front was a row of books, the most recent ones she'd been researching, with a gargoyle-like bookend at either side in the shape of an angry looking monkey with bat wings spread out. On one side of the desk was the largest of her crystal ball collection, about eight inches in diameter.

She was sitting at her desk when the alarms went off. She had been "checking in" on the patients with her crystal ball and had lost track of time. She used the ball to find who had escaped and saw Peter running through the halls. The last place she saw him was as he ran past the maximum security wing where Dr. Warmoon was working with one of the more dangerous inmates.

Theodora made her way down the halls, her short black skirt ruffling slightly with the speed of her walking. Her long black hair was put up into a bun, she wore an olive green shirt under a small jacket that matched her skirt. She quickly made her way to the other doctors and the warden, not seeing that Peter was right there.

"You lost Peter again, really? We need to put a shock collar on that kid. He's probably headed to the ... "She trailed off as she saw Peter in a sword fighting position, taunting Dr. Hook. "Never mind, I see you've found him."

The light blazed to life in Cheshire's cell. From behind the glass, the creature could be seen. Her dark violet hair was stained with crimson and her scarlet irises rested upon black eyes. As to be expected with The Cheshire, she grinned from ear to ear, showing her jagged and bloodied teeth as Grimm entered the room. She lay against the wall, her arms spread to wither side. Nailed through her hands to keep her subdued. Heavy metal cuffs and chains bound her neck and feet to the concrete floor. She didn't even get meals anymore. No one had been on the other side of the glass since the last time Cheshire attacked Alice.

"You can't blame a girl for trying can you?" She chuckled darkly as she looked straight at Grimm. "What should I tell you today Jacob? Do you really even care? It must be so frustrating to have to deal with Alice's dirty little secrets all the time. You should tell her to man up and send her down to see me herself"

Her words carried an otherworldly and nightmarish tone hidden subtly withing her childish voice. She laughed loudly for a moment without warning before she shook her head "Come on Grimm, don't you think Alice is losing her touch? With reality? It wont be long now before she sits looking out of the same cells she tries to keep us locked away behind. Poor little Alice, she tries so hard to remain in control of herself, to look good on the outside. But on the inside, she is the scariest monster of us all."

It wouldn't be a surprise that Cheshire brought up and remained on the topic of Alice. The warden was Cheshire's obsession and not a single person knew why, except for Cheshire that was.

Then the alarm blared within the cell as Peter broke free of his. Cheshire's eyes went wide and her grin returned as she began to laugh hysterically "Someone's gotten out to play! Oh dear me! I do hope he drops by for a visit! We have such fun, Peter and I. He is young and full of life. He is quite the morsel if I do say so myself" She chortled, drool dripping from her jagged teeth. Then, her disgustingly long tongue, lopped from her mouth and licked her lips "I think you ought to get back to the warden now, don'tchya think?" She growled darkly as the light flickered a bit

"But be careful Jacob Grimm, you may already be too late. Don't forget why you came here in the first place. What your brother says he did." She shook her head and made a tsk sound before looking back at him "It's a shame really, He doesn't deserve to die, but he will and so will you"

Cheshire grinned again and hung her head, small mutterings could be heard from her afterwards.

The alarm stopped. Thank god the alarm stopped. She felt as if the damned thing was reaching down inside her throat and pushing against her lungs. It quickly receded its pressure inside her, but she now was quivering like a leaf in a storm from how deafening the siren in her holding cell had been. Palms remained clamped over her head, waves of dizziness crashing and rolling over her as if she had been tossed into the sea. Cold. It was a feverish sensation, burning frost that crept over her skin, bled into her pores, wanted to tear her apart by vein and muscle and sinew. Near hyperventilation. On the brink of fainting, she weakly drifted to the edge of her cot again and fell into it, tears new and hot rushing down her cheeks and into the bare mattress and disappearing into darkening spots below her face. Swallowing dry air. She needed to collect herself again before the doctors or orderlies saw her like this. She needed to appear mentally better than she was, or at least what they expected her to be. But how she shook and cried and felt like bones barely held together by pallid skin. Breathe, remember that. Just breathe ------

You’re going to be alright, Snow White! A chorus of voices began its chanting, the rounds of cheers in their loving way, the little men she could envision in her mind’s eye were encouraging her to stability again. They all had different voices, ones she could tell apart by sound alone, and it was all of them coaxing her, wanting her to come back around. Shaking, shaking, she stilled slightly as they continued to speak to her. As her breathing eased, slowed, she hummed a soft tune and the dwarfs sang along with her, joining her fragile, quiet melody and furthered her into a sense of calm. She was still cold, but that didn’t have much to do with the alarm. Arms wrapped around her body, legs drew up to her chest in a slow motion. Still. Heart calm. She felt better, as well as she could right now. A little shivers. But better.

When she finally could, she pulled herself back up into a sitting position, legs out against the plastic-like bed, narrow and white as undisturbed snow. The hem of her gown, a basic outfit given by the Institute, was not even as white as her own skin, lying against her bone-thin thighs. Her hands traveled from the fabric of her clothing to the tops of her legs, hands just as thin, skeletal almost if not for the food they at the hospital had been able to get her to eat. She was so.. Weak. She knew these about herself, and she hated it. Nothing she could do. A thing of light, nearly nonexistent, a shaft of moonshine in the vast night. Either this, or painful, slow death. Who knew when it might come, that fatal last bite? Her stomach grumbled, her heart was tight.

Check the halls again, princess. Edgar again. It was as if he were just at her ear, a tone hushed and insistent yet gentle. Another voice. Make sure it’s safe. There’s crazy people all around! Martin, the man with the growly words. He was defensive but it was of her that he was, quick to be protective. There goes one now! She didn’t understand. Confusion taut to porcelain features. Standing slowly, making sure she could do so without crumpling to her knees, she moved cautiously to the door again. She hadn’t even made it to the little window before a gold and tan blur dashed by her cell, disappearing from view. Blinks in surprise. Who could that have been? Was that what the alarm had been about? Faster she walked, peeked through the barred slot, and saw Peter Banning running in gleeful abandon down the corridors. A gasp, the delicate hand flew over her open mouth. He had gotten out. Was he.. Escaping? Was it happening? Could… she too escape?

There was really no moment of actual calm for Diana here in this place. She hadn’t known true calm since she was a very young child. It seemed every instant there was something else going on. Peter Banning had escaped and she was now afraid of what reprimands she and the other patients would face because of his erratic behavior. That hope faded immediately to fear. Why did this have to be her life?

Jacob listened, but the unspoken answer was no, he didn't care. Caring wasn't the point of this exercise, Jacob didn't have to care about what she was saying, he just had to hear it. Oh, he paid attention, he sorted through the words, keeping tabs on anything that may be useful. Anything that might reveal a little about the patient that they didn't already know. Most of what they knew was that Cheshire was violent and malevolent, especially towards Alice. Jacob didn't actually expect to learn much more than that, but he could perhaps learn what the patient knew, perhaps how she knew it. Studying the cat was like studying the inside of a black hole, a singluarity where everything you knew was irrelevant. She was the extreme end of a spectrum so far flung that most psycologists didn't even realize it existed, and many that realized refused to accept it.

"Everyone has dirty little secrets, I wouldn't be very good at what I do if dealing with them frustrated me." He ignored the taunt of getting Alice to come to the cell. It hadn't taken long for Jacob to drop any direct references to Alice. Cheshire would bring her up, always brought her up, but Jacob never uttered the name, never even used pronouns referring to her. He let her continue, not responding. Alice was certainly not as mentally stable as the official record stated, that much Jacob had concluded rather early on. He hadn't decided weather Dr. Carroll had missed something, or intentionally falsified the record, but he had enough reasons to not care.

Suddenly the alarms went off. They weren't as loud in the cell as they were in most other parts of the facility, after all this was the most secure room with the highest priority inmate. Cheshire went on an aside about Peter, Jacob assumed she meant Peter Banning. Regardless, he didn't think there would be anything useful to hear now. He gathered up his briefcase and stood, ready to move on to other patients, again ignoring the references to Alice. "Untill next time then." As he turned toward the door Cheshire spoke again, this time about his brother 'what he says he did.' Jacob almost smiled. "Yes, he will die. I will die. We all will die." he turned his head ever so slightly, "We all deserve to die."

His hand passed over the light switch as he left the room, the door closing behind him and latched, plunging the room back into darkness. Walking down the hall Jacob went over the memories in his head again, from the beginning.

La Montaigne walked swiftly down the corridors of the Asylum toward his office. "Banning has provided a convenient window of opportunity, in which you, my friend, prove to be my greatest asset" He spoke as if someone was right next to him.

"And what exactly is it you hope to achieve, Cassius? Already your list of allies grows thin here" Came Jafar's voice as he suddenly stepped from some shadows to walk next to LaMontaigne "The Cheshire is not something you should be taking lightly, nor is the Warden for that matter. What kind of effect do you think years of abuse at the hands of that creature has created in a woman like Alice Liddle? "He questioned from behind his porcelain mask.

"An effect, I can assure you, will be fully realized and harnessed before my work is done my two-faced friend" LaMontaigne retorted sharply "I am here to change the world with my research, sir. And the thing that torments the Warden, is the subject I've been looking for" He said coming to a stop in the hallway he was walking down.

Jafar gave an amused chuckle from behind his mask "I see, you plan to set The Cheshire free? The Warden would kill you before you gave it another thought. In my professional opinion, one cannot predict what will happen once it is free. I would caution you against it but....."

"Don't misunderstand me, sir. I am fully aware of the forces at play, I am not some fool. What would I have to gain from releasing The Cheshire? You presume too much. " LaMontaigne snapped at Jafar. The old sorcerer was arrogant, and presumptuous. But his loyalties were as unpredictable as the inmate they spoke of.

"Then what is it you seem to think I can help you with?" Jafar asked in and amused tone. The Young Doctor was ambitious, and intelligent, but reckless and impatient. He couldn't help but to wonder where the choices would take them. If he truly knew what lay beyond the veil.

"The Warden is teetering on a psychotic break. I need to.....stress that fact. " LaMontaigne said lowering his voice.

"I'm Listening" Jafar mused.

"I need The Cheshire to take these" LaMontaigne said holding out three green and yellow pills to Jafar.

Jafar took the pills and held on up to the eye of his mask "May I ask what it is?"

"It's a compliment to the sedatives she takes already. give it to her in this" LaMontaigne whispered producing a small bag with some flesh colored meat in it. "It's covered in Alice's pheromones"

"Pheromones? "

"You'd be surprised what you can refine things from, Ami"

Jafar laughed audibly and shook his head, taking the bag and walking away from LaMontaigne . "These will be interesting times indeed." He chuckled and made his way to where Peter was attempting his 'Rescue'

The shards of Vitas life floated around Aldric as he went to where his bed fell back into the matrial world, a bit worse or bent up for wear but still quite usible. Vitas sighed as a Orderly stepped into view. "I will return soon Aldric, choose one that most interests you. We will.... discuss things when I return. It seems our runaway has become.... rather enthralled with me" She said turning and seemingly fading away leaving the orderly, freaked out at being so close to the Wolf before he took his leave.

Vitas went towards where Pan had gone, finding two more orderlies who had fled Pan. "The boy had gotten past you hadnt he ?" The two nodded, Vitas jerked her head, "Which way ?" Once pointed the hall she could see it through her magic. Hmmm... It was time to have some fun....

She grumbled something as the shrill tones went off again, A flick of the wrist and eldritch red sparks formed in her hands forming a folding fan of a sort which she then used to fan herself, oh this was going to be fun. She made a mirror shard appear to Pans right. Another quickly forming in a hexagonal pattern. She smiled seeing how Pan was acting, so damn childish. the poor boy was going to get broken if he kept it up. The world around Pan began to shift and change rapidly as Vitas neared the location.

More mirror shards formed in a plexus pattern upon the wall to Pans right. It spread like a web, sifting and moving in exotic movements Cracks and groans were heard as the mirror pattern formed. the wall to his left suddely cracked and warped. What was going on ?

In the hall around the corner a good dozen or so paces away Vitas halted as bells rang in the astral plane. With a sharp grunt of something Vitas smacked the wall with an open palm "I said, Shut Up you fuckin' Sprite!!" The audible crack of breaking tile was heard from behind Pan. But when he turned to look all he saw was a brokoen mirror, shifting glass, a reflection of himself.

To Hooks left a mirror briefly floated past, briefly he saw shards of Vitas, first her bare foot, then the red dress she wore, the mirror seemed to trail its way up one leg, to her waist, then up to her chest and then up an arm before passing by her face, her left amber eye glittering brightly in the mirror Hook briefly viewed as ht floated past.

Vitas was coming.

This was going to be so much fun!!

"Cén fáth a bhfuil siad ar aghaidh chun iarracht agus cneasaigh dom? Ná bíodh a fhios acu nach féidir liom a shocrú? Ní thuigim. Níl mé ag iarraidh a thuiscint. Tá mé ag iarraidh a dhul abhaile. Baile. Le do thoil, lig dom dul abhaile." he muttered to himself in Irish, which translated to: "Why do they continue to try and heal me? Do not they know I can not be fixed? I do not understand. I do not want to understand. I want to go home. Home. Please, let me go home." in English.

As the shards floated around him, he stared at them, all of them. He didn't want this. He didn't care about Vitas's life; he just wanted to be left alone! He knew now that he wouldn't be left alone here, and with a loud, but low growl, one that echoed in the chamber and out to the corridor of the cell-block known as the Wolf's Den, stood, and grabbed his beaten bed-frame once more. With each slam of the bed against the silver bars, he snarled, the bestial sounds also echoing from his room to the corridor.

"Is cuma liom! Ba mhaith liom amach! Amach a rá liom! Más rud é nach mbeidh tú é a thabhairt dom, beidh mé in ann é féin!" he screamed in Irish, his booming voice bellowing forth more effort from his muscles, the loud bangs of his bed against the door of his cell growing louder and louder. His words meant: "I do not care! I want out! Out I say! If you will not give it to me, I will take it myself!"

Harder and harder he swung his bed frame, the metal on metal was an excruciatingly loud sound, and with it, his Secondary Personality came back, his Jade Eyes filling with Amber once more, causing him to swing even harder against the door. A crack formed in the ceiling of his cell, and the bars eventually broke, the door swinging open violently. He tossed his bed back to its corner, the thing no longer usable, and lifted his chin as he arched his back, and howled triumphantly, the howl louder than any siren in the Asylum.

"It's 'bout God Damned Time!" he growled as he exited his cell, ignoring the shards of Vitas' memories following him. The safety measures immediately went into action, raising the bridge between his cell and the other doors. Knowing full well it was made of silver, he grabbed it, and forced it back down while screaming in both effort and agony. Once it reached the ground, he stepped on it his feet also being seared by it before it began to rise again, and he slid down the bridge to the foot of the first door in his path. Beyond this door was a tranquilizer-dart-shooting room that would sedate him; he could smell the Sedatives.

Of course the door was reinforced with Silver bars, but the hinges were still regular metal; which while stronger than silver, didn't burn. Breathing hard, his feet and hands stinging, steam rising from them as they healed, he readied himself. Once his feet had healed enough, he began to shoulder slam the door, snarling and growling with each motion he did. BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG. After one more shoulder charge, his shoulder bone cracked, healed, and then was ready to go. He snarled, and began to pound on the door with his fists, the walls shaking around him as he unleashed his fury on the door. Eventually, that too would break off its hinges, falling to the ground within the room. He stopped, standing outside the door-frame, and reared his head to howl once more, this one twice as bestial as the last one, sounding genuinely like a wolf.

He slammed his fist against the frame, and grabbed at his face, his breathing sounding more and more like a snarling wolf as his mind delved further into its primal rage. "NO! I...am STRONGER than this.....BEAST!" he slammed his fist against the door-frame again, the wall shaking violently. Steeling himself, he got on all fours, and lunged forward with all his might, slamming into the last door, and breaking through it, albeit having been hit with at least ten of the intended Tranquilizer darts. He tore them out of his body and tossed them aside, grunting as his body began to convulse, though he was actively fighting it.

He was shifting.

He began to retch, and eventually hurled what little he'd eaten in the last twelve hours, his hands closing to fists as he let out pained screams of agony and despair, not wanting to shift. He screamed the word NO in every language he knew, every time sounding more bestial and less human as he slammed his hands against the floor, standing up and stumbling into the wall before collapsing onto the ground once more, onto his back, his body seizing and his mouth beginning to foam up.

Then bones began to snap.

GM POST

The final measure of this asylum was the most lethal and would actually cause severe pain to Aldric. Being there were quite a few magic users within these walls, Cassius, Theodora, Vitas and Jafar had concocted a setback. This was decided after Cheshire had got out, being Aldric and her were considered some of the most lethal their had to ways to keep them corralled. Although the place was secure, unlike technology magic was far more reliable. Thus as soon as Aldric found himself collapsing outside the cell a horrible agonising effect would happen. The sedatives were not conventional in fact they were pretty much unconventional, and if NY knew about this, it would be considered cruel and unusual. In short, the drug was in fact made solely to handle the worse patients. There had been protests from Jekyll, Hook and a couple other staff, but they had to relent that Aldric is too dangerous to take chances on.

In short, the concoction once exposed to his transformation had a drastic and painful effect. The patient very blood would begin to boil. This was similar concoction once used to contain Jekyll a man of similar disposition. The sedatives now actively were boiling his blood, the evident pain on display while his face struggled with pain would be truly horrific to watch. The further he got from the cell the more it would hurt. Although Aldric could survive this, by the end he would need to heal for a long time, as most of his insides were being cooked by his own blood.

Further, with him slowed down, the magical wards within the Asylum would start to counteract his transformation. The most likely outcome was Aldric collapsing in agony and falling into a deep coma.

Not even the original werewolf could withstand such malignant magic. In a way it was ironic, being his whole curse was caused by magic, but the magic was the only thing that could keep him contained.

Ahh, it was just, wonderful, and awful. Really emotions were mixed, per usual. Just as usual The Genie was strapped to his signature chair. He had grown rather attached to the concrete metal chair, the lovingly tight straps around his wrists and ankles. Those small drops of blood scattered around the floor, it was always incredibly exciting whenever a new drop appeared, although Genie usually didn't focus on the new drops since what had caused them was way more entertaining, he had been rambling for a while, going on and on about the texture of that new crack which had appeared on the roofs right side, luckily, he was one of the few, if not the only one to have had his cell made completely soundproof by the simple reason of how much he agitated the nearby inmates. Really only the staff members who were observing him could hear the constant babbling, it was literally, in every way impossible to sleep nearby him, maybe he knew just irritating he was, maybe not.

But today had been even more amazing than usual. The constant sound outside gave him more and more new subjects to talk about. "It's him, him! The truly crazy boy wonder off to have an adventure! Godspeed, assemble your armies and tear off the second appendage, ahaha! Really, you can claim all kinds of people are crazy, but that one, that one is so lovably crazy! Now comes the alarm! The manor is being razed! Amass the shambling horses, defend the ramparts!" As he then started to trail off again, although Peter's mad dash through the halls and the blaring sirens barely could be heard into his cramped room, he still held a strange knowing of the events around, seemingly having known that Peter had escaped even before he entered Genie's section of the corridors.

It only took a minute or two until his head suddenly snapped to one side, cutting him off in whatever he might've been sayin in that moment. A smirk carefully playing across his lips as he stared a portion of the wall "Is he a dog or a wolf? One of the two for sure, a wild pup who blames itself for nibbling, now, now it's a dog, flaming blood keeping the poor thing from munching on its leash, how sad for a wolf, or was he a wolf? I can't remember..."

He took a moment actually having grown quiet, he wishes he had someone to talk to, nevertheless. His head turned back, the straps around his wrists being tested for a moment until he once again started talking. "They are so content, I want to ask why, but the answer can be seen even in my dark. A wolf turned dog, running back into the forest, it'll be eaten, torn to tiny, itty bitty cute bits. But it does take all the attention in the progress, so I suppose it does something right! He seemed to attempt and shrug, long white hair flapping around his shoulder as he attempted to move.

In spite of the padding that lined his room, Jack was able to hear the pounding and the howling all the way up in his wing.

"Shit, now the dog's trying to get out. Hope he tears that cat girl to shreds! That bitch freaks even me out."

This was beginning to get ridiculous. He hadn't even seen so much as an orderly through his door today. With Peter and Aldric trying to escape, it would be the perfect distraction for someone else to mount an escape.

"No, Jack, don't think that way. You're here to help these kids, not run out on them." He scolded himself. "But then, who am I helping while I'm stuck in this nut house, no one. That's it, I'm getting out of here."

Of course there was no doorknob on his side of the door, so it wasn't like he could freeze the lock. He tried to conjure an icicle, but the vent at the top of his cell that was disguised as a heating and air conditioning vent was in fact hooked up to a dehumidifier. It was keeping his room completely devoid of moisture. He couldn't conjure so much as a snowflake.

"Crap! I can't conjure anything. But, that isn't going to stop me."

He pressed his hand against the window on the door to his cell and concentrated. Within a few seconds there was a noticeable fog on it but he continued to hold his hand against the window until it was so cold he heard an audible crackling sound. It was now incredibly brittle. He pulled his sleeve down and clenched it in his fist to protect his knuckles as he punched the center of the one foot squared window and it shattered into tiny pieces. He glanced out the hole and didn't see any of the orderlies or doctors. He tried to reached out to grab the doorknob, but found that he couldn't put his hand through the hole as there was a magic ward that prevented his hand from passing through it.

"Well, maybe it will prevent me from getting out of here, but..." He got an evil grin as he picked up one of the shards of glass from the window and slipped it into his sleeve. "Inspection will be very interesting."

Pain. Pure, unimaginable Pain.

Aldric's body continued to seize violently, as his body both tried to shift and began to cook itself alive the more it did so. His mind was screaming for his body to stop, but of course nothing would work. Finally his mouth and throat opened and he let out some of the most blood-curdling screams of agony that anyone had ever heard, either here, or in any other asylum in history. Said screams were followed by more, as his back arched and foam fell down his cheeks from his mouth. He flipped onto his hands and knees and hurled pure stomach acid as his skin began to turn red from his blood boiling within him.

"MAKE IT STOP! STOP! PLEASE! I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR FUCK'S SAKE MAKE IT STOP!!!" he begged at the top of his cooking lungs. It was questionable as to how conscious he was at the time of saying that; or of which personality was currently in charge of his mind and therefore presenting itself to the world, but he was definitely no longer shifting. He managed to start to crawl back to his cell's outer door, agonizing howls and whimpers of a canine in pain echoing from his throat as his legs gave out and he began to drag himself slowly. His body began to seize again, and he puked up a large amount of blood off to the side against the wall, flopping on his back as he fought for consciousness, his eyes rolling back into his head before returning after a few blinks, then rolling back, and repeating the process at least ten times as orderlies and armed guards ran down the hall to contain and secure him. He was sweating profusely and half the hall-way smelled of vomit and sweat, the smells mixing and assaulting the noses of any heading his way or within the general area.

His whole body continued to seize, albeit at a slightly less violent pace, and finally his eyes rolled back, and he stopped, his body going limp, save for the occasional twitch or movement of his chest as he breathed. He'd be out for at least a week.

Some time Later.

Aldric's eyes snapped open and he sat up screaming in pain for a second before realizing he was no longer in said pain. Panting hard, he moved to try and touch and check all over his body After making sure he was still there, he sighed, and laid back down, still breathing quite heavily. After a few minutes, his breathing calmed down, and his heart-rate likewise slowed, and he sat up once more, looking around. His cell. His damn cell, reinforced and rebuilt it seemed. From what he could see, it looked the same, what he couldn't see, however, were the titanium reinforcements for the bars of his cell and the hinges and lock of his door.

The bridge's retractability was upgraded, allowing it to both raise and retract at lightning speeds in order to stop him from escaping anywhere fast. He sighed again, and swug his feet off the edge of his bed, putting his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands as he embraced his lot in life.

Perhaps the only good thing that came out of his outburst and escape was that no progress in his rehabilitation had really been lost. In fact, at the moment he seemed more inclined to respond to outside stimulus. However at the same time, if he were to have a gun, he'd be trying to shoot himself at the moment.

With yet another sigh, he leaned back against the wall of his cell, staring out at the doors across the gap from his cell.

"Ohohoho! How the dog howls! Howls at the moon wishing to be a beast again, yet as all beasts, it fears the flame!" The Genie's head snapped to the same side as earlier, staring at the wall with an unending grin. By now, those that were regularly watching him would most likely start becoming worried. His actions and tone became increasingly more violent, most of his words practically yelled. Most of the ones who knew the Genie's antics would know that he'd need to converse soon. Otherwise he'd start growing unstable, to the point of just maybe injuring himself. "The pup will be so sad, SO, sad. There'll be no more compassionate pettings, the fear of being bitten is to stroooong!" He let out a giggle, a simply maniacal one, he truly considered the current situation purely hilarious

He shock in his chair, the straps tightening as he seemingly attempted to stand up. Of course, the chair was secured into the floor, as the reinforced leather straps left no room for movement. Yet he didn't seem to pay it any heed. His head snapped, white hair being thrown with it. Staring directly into the one-way window which would be used to observe him. His voice again growing increasingly more hazardous, talking to anybody which might've been standing on the other side. He voiced practically every thought, after all, what could he really say to worsen things? "You should go pat the pup, it needs it. While you're at it, pat the زعيم الذئب too, guard your fingers while doing it." For a moment he switched to a completely different language, seemingly without noticing it himself. "Ahh, I miss my time in the Common Room, so many lovely people, so many words, so much red, so much blue and even some grey! It was AMA-zing," Sure, he had quickly been banned from the common room for aggravating the other inmates

He took a moment, wettening his lips against eachother, he hadn't gotten anything to drink in a while, he was thirsty, there was a some blood on his lips, it tasted rather nice.

Hook turned to Pan, who was more than eager to face his old foe. This had worked out better than James had expected, didn't even have to search for him! With taser in hand, he readied himself, with the poise of a practiced fencer, a smirk on his face as he gets into character.

"What's that, Peter? Lost your fairy again, have we? You really should consider putting a bell on her, oh wait," he jokes, chuckling a bit forcibly, twirling the taser like it were a rapier. "Can't see I've seen her, though, but anyways... it is about us now, you won't be getting the drop on me this time, boy."

With this, he hears someone nearby Dr. Theodora who has happened upon their little performance, to which he casts a shaky crooked grin, signaling with his eyes that it isn't exactly safe here. Odd as she was, Theodora seemed sane to him, certainly competent enough as a child psychiatrist, so he never really thought to question her. Sanity was in short order here anyways, so any amount is appreciated.

Unfortunately, things would only get more chaotic rather than less, as he readied himself to try to apprehend Peter, the sound of howls and wails, and mad mutterings, slamming sounds against doors and walls, muffled but still they reach the ears. All this, blatant signs that the patients have become agitated. Blast it all, this is what I wanted to avoid.

A tingle goes up Hook's spine as he catches a glimpse of something to his left, a mirror, shards, and an image of a woman. It took him only a moment to realize that the head nurse... the magician woman as he calls her, Vitas, had entered their area. It would also take him only a moment to realize what poor timing it is, taking in a sharp breath, dreading if Peter were to see his reflection, if he were to break from his more whimsical persona. Damn it, of all the rotten... just keep looking my way! Egh! After this, maybe I should consider a patient that is less savage on my joints.

With the sudden panic of Pan cracking into another fit of hysteria, he quickly side steps and thrusts forward into a lunge, with taser held out, sparking to life with voltage. Hopefully that extracurricular in fencing would pay off for once.

"En garde!"

There was a beauty to how far Jekyll had come in all his time. The man was an intellectual giant, but he had faced his demons. Admittedly, Alice did not fully appreciate that he had found out all he had, as she wished to keep that part of her life quiet. Nonetheless, right now he was a life raft in an ocean of tears and regret. His soft demanding yet calm voice washed over her. Although not quite immediate she gradually stopped shaking and wiped her eyes, exhaling once, twice, thrice before carefully, while still quivering due to the quake in her soul. Her legs felt partially like jelly, each shudder making it difficult to stand. Yet, somehow she regained her composure, breathing heavily, as she recovered her faculties, "Thank... thank you, Henry, I almost lost myself again... you are right about everything including being right that this is my victory." smiling gently and genuinely she sighed softly before resuming for appearances.

"Next staff meeting we need to discuss these security measures. I have some allies in government so may be able to get money to provide more substantial services. This is the third time, Peter has got out. Clearly, we need to think of something other than keys. Perhaps bio-metric ID or something similar. I shall email the details for next staff meeting." with last lingering look at Henry, she turned away to head to her office, inspections would not be happening today.

Dr Jekyll let out a sigh of relief, standing before Alice as she issued her declaration. One could see in Henry's eyes just how much he respected her. He knew she was close to finally mastering the torments Wonderland provides her, he could see how strong she had to be.
"Of course, Ms Liddle. Nice to have you on the up and up." From his pocket a bzzzt vibrated his coat. Pulling out tablet, Jekyll observed live surveillance footage of Jack Winter's cell. "Oh, for the love of... I beg my pardon, Ms Liddle. Jack is getting antsy."
Giving a polite bow before leaving the hall and Alice to her work, Jekyll began a fast paced walk towards Jack's cell. Looking on the video he could see that Jack had just broken the window to his cell. It was moments like these that Jekyll was grateful for the more magically inclined staff members capable of such defences.

Tick, tick, tick.

Standing still, Jekyll took a deep breath. My name is Henry. Producing a palette of pills, Henry popped one out and proceeded to swallow it down. Taking another deep breath, Jekyll sheathed the pills and continued towards Jack's cell. He could see the winterized glass fragments, and the orderlies already cleaning the mess up. Jack's cryokinesis was of great interest to Dr Jekyll, and pained him to see the power gifted to a boy so overwhelmed by its influence. Jekyll wanted to see Jack improve, not only for himself but also to help him find a less violent application for his abilities.

Moving up outside the door, Jekyll speaks calmly with a hint of humour "Jack? You know you're not meant to vandalise your room. There are better ways to get our attention." Pulling up a chair outside the cell door, Jekyll took a brief moment to place his tablet upon his lap as he sat down. "We share the same motive, Jack. We want to get everyone out of here. But as they are, they're not well. And we need you to get better, too." Leaning in towards the doorframe, he took a friendlier tone as he whispered "Rumours are, we'll be getting some new security measures in soon. Would do both of us good if we kept our heads down for a while, yes?"

Peter Pan

Adventure was everything that Peter Pan longed for. For a hundred long summers and noise and fights and to never grow up. The man standing opposite-Hook-was everything Pan never wanted to be. A pirate,a scoundrel, tainted by his lack of imagination, his lack of belief. Adults could not be trusted, they couldn’t be allowed to run Neverland. They would just abandon the Lost boys, just like Peter’s parents had abandoned- ”No!” shouted his mind. To remember was to grow and Peter’s defense mechanisms clouded his thoughts as he re-focused on his nemesis.

"What's that, Peter? Lost your fairy again, have we? You really should consider putting a bell on her, oh wait”

Grinning from ear to ear, Peter readied himself. “The bells will toll for you in not too long Captain! That’s the problem with growing up- you have to die! Tick Tock Hookie, I can help you along with that” he bellowed with enthusiasm. ”Who knows, maybe you’ll meet your hand in the afterlife!. Pan broke into laughter, a true joyous chuckle as Hook screamed for the battle to start.

”En Garde!” shouted Hook.

”You’ll get no quarter from me you smelly pirate!” cheered Peter as he lunged his mind focused on what was meant to be another victory for the great and wonderful and young Pan when- crack.

What happened next happened over a matter of seconds, but felt like a age to him. Peter’s head swung to the right, had a pirate snuck up on him without him noticing? Was a shot being taken at him? Damn those sneaky- his eyes, whose old eyes were those? What he saw was worse than any gunshot- it was him, but it wasn’t. What- WHAT WAS THIS?! An older version of him stared him down, it was, it was him. But how, but how, BUT HOW! He was the boy who never grow up, he was Peter Pan, he was- ”PETER! HOOK!!!” his thoughts overtook. But it was too late. Peter’s broom sword had missed the Captain and Hook’s taser sword struck true into his shoulder.

Screaming with the sudden bolt of electricity Peter’s hand dropped his sword and he fell to his knees. The two orderlies who Pan has attacked earlier and had been waiting for their chance to redeem themselves (and get back at Peter) rushed up and grabbed him by one arm each. Peter looked up at Hook with a childish confusion. The sword had the unmistakable feel of magic. That dastardly pirate! He’d been using his fairy friend to make weapons! ”You do have her!!! You have Tink!!!” he screamed struggling against the strong grip of the orderlies who only tightened their hold on him.”Give her back, she’s my friend! I’ll take her back, you hear me. TINK! TINKERBELL!” his voice was beginning to go hoarse with his shouts as tears welled up in his eyes, he hated Hook, he hated him. His eyes burned with tears as he stared at the Captain- if looks could kill, we probably would have found out if Hook would meet his hand in the afterlife.

Jack slid the shard of glass under his mattress for the time being, he wasn't going to use it just yet.
"Well, Doctor, I wasn't trying to get anyone's attention, quite the opposite really, but it seems some witch put a magic ward across the frame to prevent my escape." He then walked up to the window and glared out the window at Dr Jekyll.

"As for my motives, good Doctor, I can assure you we're not seeking the same thing. I do want to get the patients out of here, but not at the cost of them loosing their identities. Do you know what it's like, Doctor, to be cursed to see everything through the eyes of a child? I see things for what they really are, I see YOU for what you really are. You're not too much different from the others in here. Tell me, when you say 'it would do both of us good to keep our heads down' are you talking about you and me, or just the two of you?" Jack laughed maniacally at the comment.

"How is Mr. Hyde these days? It must be cramped having to share a head with you."
He turned and sat down on his bed.

"Look, Doc, I'm not going for the 'I'm not your doctor, I'm your friend' bullshit" He said mockingly making quotation marks in the air with his fingers. "And as for security measures, I'm not really worried. I'll find a way to remind the patients here of who they really are and we will get out of here. So, if you're done here, you might want to send someone to come clean up this glass. Someone could get hurt."

As the two orderlies held Pan to his knees of the tile floor a voice spoke "Stay a moment" the mirrors faded away as Pan and pulled to his feet by the two men. A woman with black hair and dressed in red stepped around him, allowing Hook to see her clearly as her dress brushed against Peter before she turned her attenion on Pan directly. She murred something and rubbed her ear. "You are in a hospital young man. Screaming like this could loose you your voice." She gently tapped his throat when he started to go hoarse in his screaming. Soothing the pain "Better ?" She smiled.

Her amber gaze went to the two orderlies "Take him to.... "She seemed to hesitate before contining "Return him to his room, triple the lock." The men nodded as she turned to Hook, "Nice left jab there Dr Hook. If you'll excuse me unless you need me for something, I shall take my leave" She gave a simple smile, yet her amber eyes denoted something different. She hesitated but a moment should Hook wish to speak.

A moment later and she took her leave of him in full. Heading down a hall to the right. The shards of mirror leading her path it seemed as the ground shifted under her feet as she walked, changing the pattern of the flooring into something of sheer beauty as she headed for a certain cell.

Stepping into view she saw Dr Jykell sitting outside the cell, with the window in the door broken. Hmp. Silly boy. Her amber eyes glittered as she neared, hearing Jack speak. She grunted something, shards of mirror cracked the wall within his cell. Some were floating freely within the cell itself. Allowing Vitas to see the boy.

But the mirror shard worked two ways, for it let Jack Winters see Vitas' face, Not many people got to see it so clearly. Amber eyes, ink black hair, fairly tanned skin, but what was most alarming was the corruptive power that Jack could see through the mirror. Of course when he'd see her in person there was no signs of corruption or scars upon her skin.

Stepping up to Dr Jykell she spoke. She had the look of a demure Nurse. yet her voice spoke volumes "Dr Jykell, you look tired, let me handle the boy. Get some rest" She said simply, of course the way she said it meant as if "goodmorning" was an invitation to bed by her tone alone, She did have a way with men at times "I am quite sure he'd listen better.... to a woman." She added, giving Jykell a look. That made sense... sorta
