When the Sun Goes Down: The World Belongs to Us

It has been years since the Supernatural community came out of the shadows and began becoming a functioning part of society. It has been an era of peace and equality…at least that’s what we are told.

Though the Supernatural’s of the world are considered second class citizens, it is the price they pay to be known to the world...but not everyone is compliant with this situation. There are rebellions brewing, and a war simmering.

This brings us to why you are here. You are one of the ten, sent from the imperial paranormal families to be trained to be a Sentinel, a guardian of peace. You must choose, throughout your training, which side your heart really lies on. (You do have the option of secretly supporting the brewing rebellion.)

Five Ruling Families:


Gargoyles are an intelligent and sentient race which when in their natural form superficially resemble daemons. They possess their own language, runic system, and architecture. Gargoyles come in two forms; their human form for daywalking and their natural form which is stony and winged.

Djinn (also spelled jinn) are a race of supernaturally empowered beings who are said to be made of smokeless flame. Not a lot is known about these creatures as they tend to stay in the nether realm and are not known to be sociable.

Fae is a type of mythical being or legendary creature, a form of spirit, often described as metaphysical, supernatural or preternatural. They come in many forms, for example: Elves, Elementals, Brownies, and Fairies. There are two separate courts of Fae, the Seelie (white magic) and Unseelie (Dark Magic) so often fae dont get along.

Shifter also sometimes called the weretouched, are a race of humanoids with the ability to change their form into that of one or two chosen animals. Shifters resemble humans, their close brethren, but with distinctively bestial features.

Sirens are creatures that can change its shape to appear human. It may seem to be either male or female, depending on how it chooses to approach a victim. Sirens are known for their alluring song.

This role-play is very character driven, yes there is a general plot but I like to leave it up to my role-players to throw in plot twists and whatnot, so be creative and this Role-play will be successful.

Rules:
1. I reserve the right to turn down your character if it is not as well put together as I would like.
2. I want romance, obviously, but be courteous to your fellow role-players.
3. Everyone makes mistakes, but try to be as literate as possible.
4. You can and will be wounded in training, most likely by each other, so no god-moding.
5. These rules can and might change so just keep an eye out.
6. Be creative with your characters. I chose lesser known supernatural beings for a reason, so don’t be afraid to do some research and make your character your own.
7. I would like an even boy to girl ratio before we start.
8. I understand that people have lives outside in the real world but please post as often as possible, no one likes to wait forever for one reply. If you have to disappear for a while, let us know and we can make arrangements for your character and fill you in when you get back.
