Raiden appears as if he doesn't care about anything or anyone. Truth is, he's quite lonely for not having many friends and he really wants someone to talk to. Raiden is quiet, shy, sometimes he could seem rude, and he is a bit lazy. Once, or if, you get to know him he's actually a nice guy with a good heart.

He lives with his parents, two sisters, and a brother. He is the youngest and the most reserved of all. He locks himself in his room all day and reads or sleeps. He doesn't have many friends because of how shy he is, but deep down, he really wants to be friendly with everyone. His parents don't ever have time to pay attention or talk to him so he is really lonely and goes to school for something interesting to do. He is the type of student who would sit in the far back and refuse to participate. Although he is quiet and a non-participant, he always has his work done and he focuses greatly in class. One day, his mother died of a heart attack and left his father in depression. He began to drink and become abusive to Raiden and Raiden's 19 year old sister. He was caught many times trying to kill himself and his last resort was to catch the whole home on fire so he could die in it. Raiden was still in school and his sister was with her friend, leaving him a perfect opportunity to die without anyone interfering. Raiden ditched school and on his way home he saw his home in flames. He then died trying to save his father from their home during the fire.
