Bae's comment about a dagger distracted him. "Don't try to work with them. Criminals only know how to deceive and go back on their word. What's to stop them from taking everything after you give them the dagger?" Darien whispered loud enough so Bae could hear.
Meanwhile Jacky moved Anjali behind her and made her way to the people behind the table. She checked everyone over in case they got hurt using torn table clothes as bandages for those who were bleeding. She tried to calm the passenger's and Anjali down and knew that having someone to help would do the best at calming Anjali. She was a strong girl. With her healing ability she could focus on those that needed help instead of her own fear or worry. She kept the table between them and the thieves and focused on the passengers.
"Heh. I guess you could say he's a halmes pincushion. Hee. Heheh. Pincushion." She walked over to the group of men, and bent down to loot the body. "He's certainly wearing fancy clothes. Maybe he has some ada or gold on him." The Do'zynge Raider spat out a curse and the friend crouched over the corpse shivered and straightened. He remained still, breathless. Then he dropped onto his side, raving. Eyes wide from some great blackness. From somewhere in the car, a little child started to wail. The Do'zynge Raider continued to rifle through the dead man's pockets with one hand. "Sorry about that brother, but your friend there did a big no-no during a robbery." She retrieved small bags of gold from the body and returned to the rest of the raiders with a blank smile. "No showing off." Drawing another two arrows, she readied the bow and leveled it at Darien. "No taunting," she stated. Then she flicked her wrist and set Anjali in her sights. "And no heroics." Her fingers twitched.
Bae'myr felt a jolt in his chest as he watched the fingers twitch. The Do'zynge Raider dropped her sights and blew a raspberry. "Boo!" she said playfully. "Now why would I do that? She's just a kid and I'm not completely heartless." She snapped up her sights on Bae'myr and the Necromancer bit his lip until a tiny drop of blood beaded on the inside of his lip. "However, you also did a little no-no, Bae boy," she teased. "I know that dagger your holding is worth a whole lot of gold. But you lied about the enchantment. And that's another big one on the list. No lying." The arrow flew towards Bae'myr and he felt the arrow slice the air as it hurtled toward him. And by him. The arrow head skimmed the flesh on his lower left jaw and barreled past him, slamming the wall behind him. "But since you're family I'll let you off with a warning. You did tell most of the truth," she said. "If we were in Chel'el'sussoloth, I'd put a shaft between in your n'abyl. But we're not. So hand over the knifey and maybe a little bit of gold and your little girlfriend can stay with Mr. Wavy Hair here." It took a good few seconds before Bae'myr began bleeding from the shallow cut, and he pressed his shirt sleeve against the red.
"By Sharess, Darien, just give it to her!" he snarled between his clenched teeth.

Yuri had watched near the dwarf as the Drow girl aimed the bow at Anjali. She froze instantly in fear, and Yuri froze in horror. They both were relieved when the Drow removed her sights from the girl. Yuri's face and brow was furrowed with anger and he looked down to his feet for a moment before mumbling to the Dwarf. "If someone threatens her one more time, I will kill you all," Yuri said, voice seething with venom. He then looked back up and locked eyes with the dwarf. The stubby man growled and bared his teeth before spitting. "I'm tired of all ye empty threats. I'm going to take what I want!" The Dwarf said, hefting up his axe and bringing it down towards Yuri in the same moment Darien had thown the knife. Luckily, the motion was slow enough for Yuri to step to the side and guide the axe with a hand on the shaft safely to the side. As the axe bit deeply into the the floor, Yuri picked up a foot and stomped the axe's shaft, jarring it out of the Dwarfs hands and slamming it on the floor with a dull thunk.
Now with the hand he used to guide the axe away, he forced a palm into the Dwarfs chest, further separating him from his axe. With his free hand, he picked up a chair by the back and chucked it at the knife Darien had thrown moments ago, intercepting it in midair. Yuri then yelled out, "Don't give them a damn thing but your boots!" Yuri was obviously too concentrated beforehand to know the importance of the dagger or what had gone on between Bae and the drow. He just didn't want them to have a thing just to spite them. They had provoked him. He followed up this maneuver by sending a foot in the air above a close by table and driving a heel down on the edge of his, causing it to tip toward him. He then rolled it around front of him between the drow girl and himself in order to provide partial protection from the arrows.
Levin eyed the Half-dragon Raos from across the cart and watched for any sudden movements.

He heard Yuri's comment and agreed wholeheartedly "I wasn't planning on giving them anything, just hoping to use it as a distraction. They aren't going to leave here in one piece nevertheless with anything else, or anyone." He said the last thinking of Anjali but didn't look in that direction, knowing any opening would be taken advantage of. Even if he felt he was the better fighter you always had to assume that your opponent was better or they might surprise you. He concentrated on his fight closely keeping a cool head so he could gage his opponent's next move.
Then he felt a tug. Then he fell backwards. Then he felt the shadows drown him. Then he felt the suffocation of lungs that did not breathe inside a body with no heartbeat. Then the spirit felt pain. And it began to kill.
"....ghaul nidarchal." said Bae'myr as he reanimated the cadaver into a revenant in the midst of the melee. No control. No mind. No mercy. Forgive me, Ilztyrn.

The Do'zynge Raider had been busy filling the air with arrows. Shot after shot sped towards Darien and Yuri as her fingers danced on the arrow string. Just as she notched another arrow, her ears pricked at the sound of movement from the rail car floor. She wheeled on the spot and loosed an arrow into the nearest body. She heard a wet squelch of flesh and arrow and reached for another arrow. But in the span of a second, the Do'zynge Raider knew something was terribly wrong. There was no groaning or cry of pain from the ground. There was an empty pool of blood at her feet. And at the moment, the human pincushion had ceased tearing out the throat of the cursed hostage was lunging for her. "Huh?" Then it slammed her to the ground, a shrieking mess of blood and flesh tearing at her with teeth and a strength only the dead could muster. The bow was knocked from her hands as the revenant bowled her over in a storm of foam and noise. She screamed as the revenant clamped its jaws onto her cheek and savagely ripped his head back, carrying a portion of her flesh in between his teeth. The Do'zynge Raider placed a foot on the revenant's stomach and kicked it a good distance away.
The revenant landed with a thud onto the rail car on its back. It began to scuttle like a spider towards the Drow Raider, bent backwards with the front facing the ceiling and its back to the floor, each arm and leg frantically moving towards the Raider. The Raider picked up her bow and arrow and notched three arrows at the revenant and fired away. The impact of each arrow repulsed the revenant and gave the Drow Raider enough time to notch another shot. But instead of firing at the aberration, she scanned the rail car for Bae'myr. A sudden obfuscating blackness emerged from within the rail car, and the Do'zynge Raider fired into the darkness, listening for the death gurgle of the other Drow. No such luck. The umbra complicated things, she cursed. "The little runt was definitely going to blee-" Foul breath wafted from behind her.
Bae'myr inked the umbra as thick as possible before ducking behind the large overturned table across the rail car. He found Anjali, shivering in fear, a much more subdued yet determined Jacky, and the unfortunate sources of the urine stench. "Okay, they are officially occupied," affirmed Bae'myr. "I...I didn't really plan this out. Yuri and Darien are back there fighting a dwarven berserker an two elves, and a human longsword. I set up an umbra, blinding just about everybody up there. Thankfully, I hastily summoned a mean little beastie that really likes the dark. Unfortunately, that same beastie likes killing everything in sight. And I can't control it. Any ideas? Anjali? Jacky? Passenger with funny hat?"

Dull thumps were heard on the other side of the table as the Drow's arrows plunged into the wood, missing the soft flesh of Yuri. At the time though, this didn't register to Yuri as a dwarf in his bloody berserker rage stampeded towards him, axe held up high. As the axe dove towards Yuri, the soldier quickly turned on his side to avoid the sharp bite of the axe. This dodge was successful as the axe splintered the table behind Yuri in half. Thinking quick, Yuri turned back on his back and kicked upwards. The blow was true as Yuri's foot connected with the dwarf's rocky chin, sending the small man stumbling backwards. The axe ripped out of the floor with the dwarf and caught Yuri lightly on the arm.
The dwarf shook out of his stupor and glared at the soldier on the ground and snorted. He rushed once more, this time axe held diagonally. Yuri watched the dwarf keenly, waiting for an opportunity. Then, an odd thought race across Yuri's mind... His sword sure would be welcome here.
Just as the dwarf neared Yuri, an umbra stuck its black fingers in their sights and blinded them to blackness. Though this blindness in no way slowed or stopped the dwarf, it gave Yuri a curtain in order to escape the rampage. He threw himself to the side and rolled to his feet as the crash of an axe echoed against the floor. Yuri, now on his feet, pulled out the stiletto knives hidden in his bracers and stood in an aggressive stance, both knives in front of him. In vain, however, as the umbra hid him from the dwarf and vice versa. He wondered of the origin's of the sudden blackness, yet did not insult the gift.
Though, there was something else in the umbra. Something pained and full of malcontent. He could smell it, he could feel it. It felt wrong. "Th' 'ell is that?! Wha'ever it is, it innit good." Yuri said, unique accent piercing the umbra. Of course, Yuri heard the whistling of an axe headed towards him and jumped backwards just in case. He could not see the dwarf, nor he him... But they could hear each other just fine.

"Oi! What kin' of trick this be?" Yuri heard beside him. A mistake on the dwarfs part. Yuri instantly picked up a leg and kicked heavy towards the dwarf, striking the stout man from what seemed to be the chest. The man expelled the air that had been in his lungs, but afterward sent a wild hew with his axe toward the direction of the kick. A futile effort, Yuri was nowhere to be found as he had already moved out of the way.
Breathing heavy, the dwarf swore, "Argh, why don't ye fight like a man?!" his only answer was a heavy boot to the face, as a vicious kick connected with the dwarf's chin. Stumbling back a bit, he hefted the axe downwards in a desperate attempt to slay the man, to no avail however as a dull thunk signified a miss into the floor.
By this time, Yuri had pushed their fight close to the walls of the cart. He reached out and touched the thick wall and an idea came to him. First, he replaced his hidden stilettos and kept a hand on the wall before goading the dwarf. " 'Ey, mate, Ova here." Yuri said before taking a step backwards. On queue, the Dwarfs axe came cleaving into the wall in front of Yuri, where it stuck. The soldier took advantage of this situation as he stepped forward quickly, laying a firm hand on the dwarf's axe, before elbowing the stout man directly where his face should be. Yuri felt the dwarf lose grip on the axe as he stumbled back, and again, Yuri took advantage. He ripped the axe out of the wall and spun, axe outstretched. Though spinning the axe, Yuri tried to keep the blow nonlethal as he tried to use the flat of the axe. His blow was true as the axe connected with something solid with a telltale thump, followed by a revealing thud from something heavy falling to the ground.
By this time, the umbra began to clear, and the dwarf lay knocked out cold on the floor of the cart, Yuri standing nearby holding the dwarf's axe heavy axe over his soldier. Yuri was no longer unarmed. "An' that's a'why you don't mess wit' an Aussie." Yuri said with pride.
He looked up and found that Darien too had dispatched his bandit, and the Revenant had finished off the Drow archer. The foul creature stood over the poor girls body, feeding... Yuri also noticed that Darien had turned his attention to the Drow and Revenant as well.
He gave a curt wave to Darien as the creature stood up, realizing that Yuri had set his eyes upon it. Finally, Yuri spoke, "One mo' baddy, yeah?" he said to Darien, shifting the axe on his shoulder.

The stench of the thing was nauseating and it was almost overwhelming to his enhanced senses. He did his best to block it out. As yet the thing hadn't moved from it's position, still feeding on the drow woman. It wasn't a pretty sight. Darien swung with all his might toward the thing's neck, knowing that usually decapitation was the best way to stop most undead. But when his sword was almost there the thing blocked it with it's arm. With a crack the bone broke and a dribble of what little fluids were left trickled out but the thing just looked at Darien with empty eyes and Darien took a step back in case it jumped at him.

The creature's stench also reached Yuri, though it hardly had an effect on the soldier. Either already becoming accustomed to the smell of death, or because of his conditioning. Either way, the stench was still foul, though Yuri disregarded it. A moment even acknowledging it could prove fatal.
Then Darien struck at the creature, aiming for it's neck. Waiting for his moment, Yuri stood away from the creature until Darien finished his strike. Seemed like the blow was going to ring true for a moment, up until the undead managed to block with a lifeless arm. Darien quickly retreated, and it was now Yuri's turn. He quickly ran forward to the creature, axe held low.
As he came upon the creature, Yuri swung the axe upwards on the creature, hoping the destroy the creature's trunk. To no avail as the undead reached with a hand and stopped the axe blade. The blade sunk deep into it's palm and continued into it's forearm, but that was the extent of the damage. The undead beast then whipped it's eyes to Yuri and let loose a chilling wail. Yuri froze in a fit of surprise and primal fear. Froze long enough for the creature to back hand Yuri.
The blow sent Yuri to the ground a couple of feet away, to which the creature capitalized by slinging itself on top of the solider, looking to feed. The only thing keeping the undead beast from dining on Yuri's flesh was the Axe haft, and that was creaking under the pressure.

Yuri saw the warrior try to tug his sword out of the monster neck, but to not avail. Instead, Darien dropped the sword, still inside the creature's neck, and kicked it off of Yuri, finally allowing him to breath. Though he didn't enjoy the respite for long, quickly rolling over and mounting the creature himself, with the half an axe in his hand. Seems now that Yuri and the creature had switched positions. One of which Yuri took full advantage of. He pinned the creature by using his knees to gain torque on Darien's sword, hoping the Spellsword would either reinforce his knee or dull the back of the blade to avoid injury.
The creature's neck was pinned, sword slowly digging into the flesh by the increased pressure of Yuri's weight. This was not the only tactic used. The broken axe was now small enough for Yuri to wield with one hand, yet he still grabbed it with both and held it high above his head. He had time for one final quip...
"Back tah hell ya go mate. I'll see ya down under," Yuri uttered before slamming the axe in the center of the Revenant's face, easily cutting it in half. Yet no blood ran, only a black treacly substance. Then there was a snap. The sword Yuri was on finally broke past the spine and continued it's course directly through the creature's neck until it bit into the wooden floor beneath.
This caused an otherworldly screech to emanate from the undead beast's detached head. A screech which evolved in pitch and tone until it was loud wailing wind. Then, the corpse itself suddenly exploded and melted into dust under Yuri.
The old warrior sighed in relief and stumbled forward, tired from the morning's events. He grabbed Darien's sword by the hilt before flipping it to where he was holding it by the blade, hilt extended to Darien. With the other hand, he tossed the axe safely to the side, glad to be rid of the thing.
"Here ya go, mate. Believin'' you be wantin' this back." he said with a weary grin on his face. "Not bad fer a morning's brekkie, right?" He said, a small, cold laugh escaping his lips.
