Emily Villdrex's Story

Esra walked calmly through the hall of the great castle her long hair flowing around her to the middle of her back, as she walked she read an old book it seemed to be older than the castle itself as its edges were torn and it was worn down. Esra smiled intently as she read walking into the throne room to await her friend she sat in her chair placed right next to the throne and continued her reading intently the pages flipping on their own as if by magic.

Esra felt a deep sorrow fill her heart she dropped her book and teleported to Emily her hair on edge as the magic in the hall disapated to a shuttle blue glow around them, Esra drew Emily into a hug "It is alright my dear...I know you miss them..I will be here always I promise" she used her magic to make a calming aura fill the hall deeply saddened to see her closest friend in emotional pain.

Esra looked into Emily's eyes and stroked her hair as if she were a mother calming a child, "I know.. It is an oddity and I have my own suspicions about it, but my dear lady you mustn't lose hope or that beautiful light in your soul I can feel it dimming and it frightens me." She said softly her mind going back to that night when both of Emily's parents died she felt deep remorse in the fact that she could not save them, she had let them down, but she was a young dragon and could only do so much so her redemption would be in watching over Emily and keeping the kingdom safe and peaceful.

Emily closed her eyes as another tear fell, and said quietly "Yes, I apologize... I shouldn't let my feelings take over me like this." She stood up slowly and looked out the window. "There's been a dark aura rising from the hills... I don't like it."

Emily sighed, "Well, just keep an eye out, I can't stand to see another life slip away from the kingdom"
