Watching humans, since that's usually what he does or wander around the shrine grounds as a human.
Personality:
Taiyo is a very socailable demon, he enjoys to watch humans. he never seems to get mad at anything and is extremely calm and collected all the time. Though, like most demons, he hates other demons coming onto his territory and isn't afraid to show it by force if needed. Though he can be quite hostile, he doesn't show it a lot unless really pushed. In his younger days, he was very violent, and power-hungry but after being sealed away, it mellowed him out greatly.

Fighting Style

Image
Weapon: http://www.trueswords.com/images/prod/t ... _sword.jpg
He uses a japanese katana that amplifies his fire ability. His katana can heat up to make burns on human skins with just a graze. though his nails are sharp too, and can be used as daggers.

General/Preferred Style:
He prefers to fight in his human form, since if he turns to his true form, it can ruin a lot of things. Though, if angered enough, he turns into his true form to fight.

Hand-to-Hand:
His claws are one of his best weapons, as they are razor sharp. He also has the ability to heat up his hands to leave burns if it is touch barehanded. He is quite skilled with close-combat, knowing multiple styles of karate, and other martial arts. It also helps since he is physically stronger then most demons despite his human form size.

Weapons Style:
Taiyo focuses mainly on focused fast strikes. Hitting anywhere really to cause burns until his opponent can't take anymore. The burns grow, and grow, until doused with cool temple water. It's possible for the burn to go down and destroy nerves if it isn't treated soon enough. Possibly in an hour, and if their lucky maybe and hour and a half.

Special Abilities:
-He earned his name of Sun demon from his ability to have absolute control over fire. His normal fire is a light blue color. That flame he produces on his own, using particales of heat in the air. Though, as the flame gets lighter, it increases in heat. He can eat regular fire to power up himself, and heal his wounds. His most hottest type of fire is a snow white flame, that can burn easily through flesh. Though, this takes awhile to summon.
-His power to transform to a fox so humans can see him
-He has very keen senses.
-Super speed and strength
-Can take multiple hits easily.
-Enhanced healing.

HISTORY

Image
Personal History/Background:
Being alive for so long has it perks. When he was young, it was still old japan. He controlled a high noble that controlled a lot of the territory of Tokyo, then Edo. The high noble, under his influence use to calling fresh humans that Taiyo ate everyday, usually he preferred women then men. this continued for almost a year, until a priest monk guy caught word of what he was doing. He used his daugther to lure out Taiyo, and it worked unfortunatly. The human girl was able to get on his good side, and served as a servant for him for a while, and enventually Taiyo was seduced by her sweet voice and actions toward him.

It turned out to be a mistake. He was lured out into the place where the temple would stand today, and he lost to the monk, and had to watch over the area until the seal broke. He was sentenced to watch the place for one thousand years. Once that time passed, he could do what he wanted once again. During his sealed state, he was vengeful, and plotted revenge against the monk's family while sealed. But, as he watched over the area, he became quite fond of it. He was given offerings and other treats for protecting the shrine, since people saw him as a guardian. They prayed to him and such.

1000 years later, the seal finally broke. Taiyo then had become a bit more peaceful, not really searching for revenge but just to wait and watch over humans. He did find the monk's family though, and when he was about to destroy them, he stopped himself. Taiyo wondered why he didn't feel the need for revenge anymore, so he left them alone. Now, he wonders what he should do, since he is now free...though he knows he wants to continue watching over people for now, until something interesting comes along.

Clans (Family Clan or Otherwise): Nisshoku Clan

Deep into Fuji woods, near the base of the great mountain, lay a small shrine. It was nothing special, just an offering box with a white marble statue of a wolf. However, the offering box was empty and broken, covered in a thin layer of autumn snow. The box was weathered after hundreds of years in the damp forest, but the statue was in shockingly different condition. It was clean and sharp, looking as real and detailed as any actual wolf. The reason was quite clear, as the statue yawned lazily and scratched at one of its ears. Not a statue then. But not a wolf either, at least not any regular wolf.

He stretched out on the small stone pedestal in front of the offering box, staring out lazily into the autumn forest. The ground was painted with a thin layer of white, while the trees flashed brightly colored leaves. Shades of red and deep orange, yellow and light brown contrasted so greatly against the cold, frozen snow, he thought about, and not for the first time, painting the scene. As if he hadn't already done that 700 times. He stood on his four paws and walked over to a small bag resting against the offering box. He focused momentarily and disappeared in a puff of thick smoke. When it cleared, a human stood there, dressed in deep red cloth with hair as white as the snow that reached his knees. If humans could see him, they'd think him as one of them until they noticed the lupine pair of ears atop his head. He dug through the bag with his now human hands and frowned. As he thought. 700 paintings of autumn leaves in the snow. His name was Ryu, he was a Yokai, a powerful one at that, and he was bored.

He sighed heavily and then he decided. One day in town couldn't hurt right? It'd been 90 years since he'd last visited the town, he deserved a little personal time. Besides, what human in their right mind would attempt to scale Mt.Fuji in the snow? He nodded to himself and started to walk down to Fujinomiya, his bare feet crunching in the thin snow, but of course no human would hear him. He watched the leaves fall as he walked, and wondered if humans still made sweet-buns. He did quite like sweet-buns.

Taiyo yawned as he woke up, stretching his body to the fullest. It was such a great sleep, that he didn't feel even tired. The fresh fell snow had brightly made his temple an even more majestic sight, much to his liking. He felt himself shudder, and he was back into his human form. His human form was quite appealing, looking only to be a high schooler's age. As he sat up, he yawned and stood up. His gold eyes scanning the temple ground. Being trapped here for a thousand years had made him used to being here.

The temple itself was very well-taken care of. A statue of a kitsune at the entrance and by the offering box. The temple was empty, since the priest who took care of it only came really to clean up. Taiyo usually kept the shrine nice and well cared for, so it wasn't much work. As he walked towards the entrance, he stopped by the wishing wall, where the humans hung up there wishes. He liked to look at it, since it was the strangest things. High school girl only seemed to think about boys, while adults cared about money or luck.

As he was about to look more into it, a voice broke his train of thought.

"Taiyo-sama! It is time to go!" A voice that could belong to a little boy.

The kitsune smiled at the smaller demon, picking him up and putting him on his shoulder as he walked out of the temple grounds. He responded by saying "I suppose so...where should we eat today?" Living at a shrine had it's perks, after all he was usually given monetary offerings that he spent on trying human food. Though unfortunatly, it was never as good as the humans who cook them would be. But he had stopped his blood thirsty ways, and decided against it, less he be sealed away once again.

As the Kitsune walked in his human form, he usually got stared at by human females, since he was a predator and humans were his prey he would have to be...appealing to lure them into his way. He simply smiled at them, and continued to walk around Fujinomiya. He could see the smaller yokais begining to play, and heard Fuyu sniffing disdain. Looking at his servant, he got a response.

"How stupid for those lower yokai to be playing and not serving a lord such as you, Taiyo-sama." The white fox just let out another snort, while Taiyo just chuckled. "I suppose so,but not all yokai have a master to attend to such as yourself. After all, there are not many more yokai clans still active." He said simply, as he stopped and looked around. It was such a nice day today, it would be better if in snowed once again, to blanket the town in snow.

Well this was... Drastically different than what he remembered. He walked along the edges of rooftops, taking in the sights of the 90 years newer Fujinomiya. As he suspected, it was still polluted with low ranking yokai. Those yokai who saw him and knew him for who he was quickly fled. Soon, whispers began to circulate through the city. "The Wolf is here! The Wolf has returned!" Ryu walked down into a street where a group of yokai were talking amongst themselves. They fled with screams of terror at the sight of him. Ryu smiled and sighed softly. At least that hadn't changed in the past 90 years. Ryu walked down and into what appeared to be a food store of some kind. Humans who looked in his direction saw nothing, as he had no wish to be seen by them.

There they were! Sweet-buns by the dozen! All displayed under some kind heat lamp? He frowned and swiped up nearly a dozen of the sweet-buns. Human technology had changed quite rapidly whilst he'd been in the forest. He stepped out of the store, simply phasing through the humans he came into contact with, and made his way further into town, devouring the stolen sweet-buns. The further he went, the more yokai he saw, and the more yokai he saw, the more yokai fled in terror, screaming "The Wolf has returned!"

Several of said yokai ran down the street in front of the shrine, screaming "The Wolf! The Wolf!". The same happened at the window of Sora's apartment, a minor Tengu slamming into the window in its haste to escape, still screaming "The Wolf is here!"

As Taiyo walked, he noticed the smaller yokai running around in a panic, screaming something about a wolf. He tilted his head to the side, a questioning look appearing on his features. As he sniffed the air, a scent hit his nose. It was like a forest smell, and a wild smell combined. He wrinkled his nose, and concluded it was another Yokai, most likely a first class by the smell of it. Taiyo stopped by a vendor, buying a bento for himself, and Mitarashi Dango for Fuyu. He walked back towards the temple, taking a seat on it's stairs as he ate.

Fuyu, jumped off of his lord's shoulder, and began eating the mochi. As he was munching away, he heard his master question him. "Fuyu, tell me...who is this wolf that the Yokais seem to be fearing?" He asked, taking a bite of his noodle bento. Fuyu noddedhis small white head, chewing and swallowing before talking.

"The wolf is a first class yokai that was born while you were asleep. He guards Mount Fuji from humans and other Yokais. Taking another bite, he continued. "Though of course he isn't as strong as you my lord." He added, with another nod.

Taiyo leaned back, before then saying "I see...then I am older than him by at least 500..." He took another bite, before finishing his meal. It still wasn't as good as fresh human liver or organs though. "Another first class yokai...I suppose it's fine as long as he doesn't come onto my temple." A slight hostile tone at the end of his sentence. He didn't like other yokais. He had just woken up a little while ago, and was still adjusting to this time.

"Fuyu, when your finished gather more information of this ..."wolf" for me will you?" Taiyo ordered the smaller Yokai. Fuyu gulped down the last dango and nodded, standing up. "Of course my lord!" With that said, he bounded down the temple stairs, and back into the hustle of the morning city.

Ryu licked the last remains of the sweet buns from his fingers. Such a novel thing, the sweet bun. So warm and fluffy and delicious. He wondered for a minute what the filling was actually made of. He'd never really bothered asking, so long as it was tasty. He sat down on the roof of one of the older fashioned buildings as stared at the sky. Yokai walked and flew by, often as fast as their tiny legs would carry them. In their haste, they knocked over a nearby flower pot. Ryu sighed and reached down quickly to prevent it from falling. He placed it back on the balcony it belonged in and continued walking along the rooftops.

He frowned, smelling something odd. A first class yokai... a kitsune? Interesting. Might as well go take a look. He grinned like an excited child and slowly, fell off the roof. He slammed into the freezing ground and burst into a flurry of autumn leaves. The leaves traveled along the wind with a purpose, soon landing in a neat pile upon the temple's stairs. As the small fox Yokai scampered off, the leaves dispersed, and in their place was the yokai Ryu, sitting quite comfortably and staring up at the cold autumn sky. "If information regarding The Wolf is what you seek, I believe I could be of much assistance." He dug around in his sleeve for a second or two, revealing and then offering something to the Kitsune he now sat next to. "Sweet bun?"

Taiyo blinked, as the flurry of orange leaves appeared besides him as his fox servant scampered off to follow his order. As the leaves fell back into place once again, there now was another Yokai in it's place. The first class yokai he had sniffed out earlier was coming form this man's scent. It was quite obvious now, that this was the Yokai that scared the smaller ones. Taiyo simply smiled at him, taking the sweet bun.

"Thank you very much." he said, as he took a bite. As more humans walked walked by the temple, he begun getting strange looks. Remembering they could see him, he shuddered slightly, and in a burst of blue flame engulfed him. As the fire faded, he took the form partially of a fox. With snow white ears, and a nine tails to match, along with a cermonial Kimono old nobles used to wear. His nails had sharpened as well, as it could be seen as he took off the mask that came with the form.

"Please excuse me, I am not picking a fight...I was just getting strange looks from humans." He explained, as he took another bite of the treat. He already knew from this yokai's scent, that he was the first class yokai that had come to scare the other smaller class yokais. But decided to play along.

"So...what do you know about the wolf yokai?"

Fuyu walked along quickly, jumping from the roof top. Fuyu paused, to catch his breath. Shaking out his fur, and fluffing it from the cold. It sighed, as he sat down. All the other yokai went into hiding...this was going to be tough.

He returned his hand to his sleeve as the kitsune took the offered sweet bun and continued his observation of the sky. After a small group of humans walked by, giving the kitsune an odd look for talking to what appeared to be thin air, he reverted to his yokai form by surrounding himself in foxfire. Ryu took the opportunity to stuff and light his pipe on the blue flames. He took a few puffs and sighed as he let out a long wisp of smoke.
"Please excuse me, I am not picking a fight...I was just getting strange looks from humans."
"Ah, worry not good sir, I understand." He was shockingly polite for a yokai, but spending 800 years guarding a forest in total solitude did that to some. He inhaled again through the pipe and let out a nice sized smoke ring before passing the pipe to the kitsune.
"So...what do you know about the wolf yokai?"

Ryu thought for a moment before speaking. "The wolf was human once, around 800 years ago. Some say he was a monk, others a blacksmith. Nobody really knows. One day, this human traveled to Fuji shrine. No one heard from him again, and he was assumed dead. Then The Wolf appeared, and for three years, he slaughtered everything in sight in a mad rage. After that, he came to his senses and decided to guard the mountain from humans and yokai alike, to prevent them from the same fate." He looked over to the kitsune and grinned, though his eyes were sad. "This is all rumor in conjecture though. As I understand it, The Wolf doesn't reme-" Suddenly his ears perked up and he stood, facing the forest leading to Mr.Fuji. He growled and took off running down the street. "Damned humans! I was enjoying my day off!" He leapt, disappearing into a cloud of smoke. What emerged was drastically different. A giant wolf like creature with a long flowing tail kicked its feet and flew through the cold sky to Mt.Fuji.

In his haste to guard the mountain, he'd left the kitsune holding his black and silver pipe.

As the other yokai spoke of himself, Taiyo tilted his head to the side as the yokai spoke. A human was able to turn into a first class yokai? It was amusing to think about. Times sure have changed every since he was sealed away inside the temple. He had only woken up a few months ago after all, once his time was served. The fox finished the sweet bun, and licked his fingers at the thought of it. Sweet buns almost were good as human...almost. It was sweet enough, he supposed.

He took the pipe from the wolf with a nod in thanks, and took aninhale of it, letting smoke calmly coming out from his lips. As he was about to speak though, the wolf got up to his feet, and made a break for the forest. Taiyo blinked, as the wolf turned to his true form, and made a break for the woods. A smile played on Taiyo's lips, as he decided to follow the wolf. After all, he had to return the pipe to the yokai.

As he took another inhale of smoke, he followed the wolf demon at a walking and relaxed pace. His tails were moving gently in the wind, with the tails dragging on the ground. He had to get a pipe, he had forgotten what it was like. He thought,as he took another inhale.

As he walked by the humans, he couldn't help but go through a few of them. Just to give them a chill, after all he was still a Yokai. He sniffed again to smell something...like fresh water. It appeared another yokai had come into to town...everyone must be bored today.

The kitsune continued to follow the wolf yokai by smell mainly, since he didn't want to use his full form to follow. The scent led him to the entrance of a forest. Beyond the forest lay Mt.Fuji, he twitched his ears,as he tried to listen for the said Yokai. But, instead he heard a human girl somewhere down the path. A frown played on his lips. Was this human stupid? Or just not very bright?

He walked along the path, to follow the footprints left by the girl. He could smell her now, and in all honesty, she smelled delicious to him. She was still quite young, most likely barely an adult...which made her even more tempting to eat. Hell, he hadn't eaten human in a thousand years. Honestly? he just wanted to catch her, and eat her...though he knew he had to restrain himself no matter what.

Taiyo paused along the trail, as he saw the big form of the wolf deity. And there was the human girl he sniffed earlier. He frowned, and quickly caught up to get closer, and jumped onto a tree branch to watch. If the wolf demon did try to kill her, he could easily steal what he wanted from her. That way he wouldn't need to dirty his hands. A bad thought, yes but hey, he wouldn't be killing...He took another puff of smoke, as he leaned a bit lazily against the branch to watch this play out.

Though as the conversation started, Taiyo just sighed. It appears reason would be brought out first before claws and teeth.

Kiseki Okinawa

Kiseki found his reactions quite amusing, so she laughed heartily at the wolf and laughed even harder when the umbrella actually went up his nose. Kiseki pulled the umbrella back and put it on the ground beside her. No matter what the wolf said about the shrine, she was still curious. She scratched the big wolf right on the nose and sighed.
My own safety, huh...
Kiseki formed a small smile at the wolf.
My name is Kiseki Okinawa, not strange human.

It was probably quite obvious by now that Kiseki took a liking to animals, even though she knew the wolf was a Yokai, he didn't seem half as bad or bothersome as the many other Yokai that have haunted her.
Hey, can I ask you something, Ryu?
This was the second time she had learned the name of a Yokai, and she was getting a little excited. Before giving him the opportunity to respond, she decided to go ahead and ask... more than one question.
Does it ever get boring watching over this mountain and forest? Are you ever lonely? Is Fujinomiya actually a peaceful little town, or are there more Yokai? Because today, this annoying little guy was bugging me, and that hasn't happened to me in over a year.

Kiseki has never this open to, well, anyone. She hasn't even had a pleasant conversation with a Yokai before, unless it was a fake one, just to mock her. She didn't really have the guts to be so open to other humans, and she was way past being scared of the Yokai. He voice was still quiet as she spoke, but also slightly louder than her average. Kiseki couldn't help it. She was frustrated, alone, cold and curious. However, even after asking all those questions, she was more curious as to why she felt as though she was being watched...

Ryu

Thankfully, the human girl helped get the accursed umbrella out of his nose. Having such a huge snout was inconvenient at times. "Kiseki. Even names have changed... It's a pleasure to meet a human that doesn't run at the sight of a yokai." His nose twitched at the scratching it received and he took another whiff of the air. Oh? It seemed the fox from before was here as well. Before he could address the fox, Kiseki spoke again.
Hey, can I ask you something, Ryu? Does it ever get boring watching over this mountain and forest? Are you ever lonely? Is Fujinomiya actually a peaceful little town, or are there more Yokai? Because today, this annoying little guy was bugging me, and that hasn't happened to me in over a year.

He very gently put a single paw pad over her mouth to stop the huge flow of questions. "Whoa whoa whoa, slow down there little Kiseki. Yes, it gets extremely dull watching over the mountain. Very few humans come with the intention of visiting my shrine, so unfortunately I must drive them away, so... I do get lonely as well... As for Fujinomiya, it is absolutely infested with yokai." He lifted his head and pointed his snout to the great mountain and resumed speaking. "Despite the barriers I've placed around the mountain, a good deal of lesser yokai manage to squeeze through the gaps. Fortunately, nothing larger than that can slip through. We should continue this conversation elsewhere, there are many eyes and ears here." He lowered his head again and positioned his forepaw in such a way that it would be easy for her to climb up to his back.

"The fox may join us as well, if he intends to return my pipe that is." His eye swiveled to where the kitsune sat in his tree, smoking from his pipe.

Taiyo blinked,as he heard the fox comment. Well, naturally that meant him. Unless there was another Kitsune somewhere smoking a pipe. He jumped down, landing in the snow covered ground easily, and fixed his robes. And here he thought he was being quiet. Taiyo simply offered a smile to the two, then said "I did not mean to listen in, I was simply bored I suppose."

As he walked toward the two, he emptied out the pipe on the way, allowing ashes to fall into the snow covered ground. It was nice to know that the natural scenery of this place never changed. It looked the same from a thousand years ago. Just waking up in this modern world, it was a small comfort to him, though he would never admit it.

Taiyo offered a smile in greeting to the girl, then said "I am surprised a human such as yourself didn't run in terror yet...Most human would have run if a giant yokai such as the wolf came out of nowhere." Despite being polite, in his mind he was still debating whether this girl was stupid, or just naive. They could kill her here, and no one would be able to help her. His ears twitched at a sound, and from the trail Fuyu came running.

"Taiyo-sama! I found you!" The small kitsune said, as it jumped on his shoulder. "I was able to find the information you wanted...." The small fox trailed off, as it took notice of the big wolf demon and the human that was in his company. Taiyo simply smiled at the small fox, then said "It's quite fine, after all I seem to have met the wolf we heard about." The small fox let out a huff. So he had ran around, dragged smaller yokai out and questioned them for nothing?! The small fox took notice of a human, and tilted it's head to the side, much like a puppy. Why was a human here? Most of all, did she know the dangers of being by two first class Yokai?! Fuyu's continued to stare at the human.

Kiseki Okinawa

Kiseki blinked when he placed his paw over her mouth and muttered a small and embarrassed apology. Kiseki felt a little bad for the wolf. He must be alone all the time... well, Kiseki could relate and just got used to it. When he mentioned that they were being listened to, Kiseki looked around, then spotted someone in the tree. He casually jumped down and came towards the two. He seemed like quite a calm Yokai, and he also seemed polite. Kiseki raised an eyebrow at the Yokai.
Most humans can't see Yokai, I've learned to get used to it.
All of a sudden, a very small creature came running towards the larger Yokai. Kiseki eyes were practically glowing when she seen the kitsune. This Yokai is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen! Kiseki thought to herself. She loved animals, no matter how they looked. She didn't want to reach out for the animal though, because he was resting on the shoulder of the fox Yokai and if you want animals to warm up to you, you let them smell you first. She knew this from experience. Kiseki did wonder why the Yokai were being so kind to her... all the previous Yokai she's met were very dark and had terrible things to say or do.

Ryu

Ryu shook his massive head and sighed. Suddenly his body became a collection of bright autumn leaves which scattered in the wind. As they flew past the fox, the pipe seemed to disappear as well. The leaves gathered again where he'd been laying before and he appeared in his somewhat human form, pipe in hand. "Eavesdropping is quite rude, but I suppose that's to be expected from a yokai. Thank you for returning the pipe." He returned the empty pipe to his sleeve, eying the kitsune. He smelled his desire to eat the human girl. He'd have to keep an eye on him, for Kiseki's sake.

"Kiseki, this is Taiyo Nisshoku, the kitsune humans sealed in Fujinomiya shrine around 1,000 years ago." He grinned at Taiyo. "I am not such a recluse that I hadn't heard of your release little fox. But as I said, this is not the place to speak of such things. Come, we will talk more at my shrine." He turned to the forest entrance and waved his hand. The trees creaked and groaned, but slowly they righted themselves, roots digging back into the earth. Soon the path into the woods could be seen. The snow obscured the gravel, but rocks outlining the path could be seen sticking their heads out of the snow. Every 50 feet or so, a faded red Torii gate could be seen rising from the snow. Without looking to see if they followed him, Ryu began walking down the all too familiar path leading to the shrine he called home.

Taiyo chuckled a bit as he was introduced. So, he wouldn't have been able to hide it as well. Most yokai had not known he was sealed there until he had awoken, and a new first-class yokai had appeared. Naturally, this had caused some panic but of course since he mellowed out a lot over the past few centuries he had to show that he meant no harm. He offered another smile at the girl, and another nod in greeting towards her.

"Ah...I see...you are one of those adaptable types of humans...." He said simply, This girl had just finished his thought. She was just used to it,so she was neither crazy, stupid of naive. Though he noticed the girl's stare at Fuyu. He saw that stare quite a lot, when he was in fox form. The kitsune clan that he was from was very well powerful...but also very fluffy as well. It was a good thing and a bad thing he supposed. He smiled at the girl, before picking up the smaller fox on his shoulder, and placed it in her hands.

"I'm afraid my shoulder is a little tired. I'll have you carry him for a bit." He said, and gave Fuyu a look when he saw the kitsune's jaw open. With that said and done, he followed the wolf demon deeper into the forest.

Fuyu sighed, and jumped onto the girl's shoulder, fluffing up against the cold before saying. "Follow Taiyo-sama! Or else we both be left behind." He had trouble balancing on the girl's slender shoulder, and was almost tempted to jump on her head for more support. Well...it was an order to stay with the girl...and he had to follow it.

Kiseki Okinawa

Kiseki watched in awe as the big wolf turned to leaves then suddenly looked human. That was interesting... Kiseki noticed that the wolf didn't seem too fond of the fox Yokai, but she just shrugged it off. It wasn't really any of her business anyways. Kiseki tilted her head slightly when he said she was 'adaptable'. She didn't know if that was a compliment, insult or remark, so she just didn't respond. Kiseki still wondered why these Yokai were so kind to her, but then she snapped out of that thought and held her hands out when he put the small kitsune down. Kiseki smiled and nodded at the Yokai. She began running through the forest after the two Yokai, and forgot her umbrella on the ground.

Kiseki could feel the little creature wobbling on her shoulder and she started to feel bad. Besides, it was cold out, so she thought she could do something for the little guy.
It's hard for me to run with you on my shoulder, would you like to go in my jacket?
Kiseki unzipped her coat and motioned for the little kitsune to crawl inside. To be more convincing, or so she thought, she also added that it was cold out.
And besides, it's winter. It's still cold outside, no matter how fluffy you are.
Kiseki smiled down at the small creature and stopped running, in case the kitsune did want to crawl inside her jacket.

Ryu's bare feet crunched in the thick snow, but he seemed not to notice the cold. Perhaps he'd simply been living in the forest so long that he'd learned to ignore it. He looked up at the Torii gates lining the path to his shrine. They were old and faded, the wood distorted and cracked in many places. He frowned and muttered aloud.
"Has it really been this long since they stopped coming...?"

He placed his hand upon the wooden gate, a dim light spreading around the gate. Slowly the wood creaked and straightened, the cracks pulling themselves shut. The moss and mold seemed to evaporate as the faded red paint regained its luster. He smiled and removed his hand, repeating the process with every Torii gate along the path until they reached the shrine. He didn't dare attempt the same thing with his shrine, it was far too delicate to survive the process.

He cleared the snow and leaves from the small stone pedestal in front of the tiny shrine and sat upon it. He clapped twice and two trees sprouted from the ground in front of the pedestal, grew old, died, then became stumps for them to sit upon. He waved his hand once more, a barrier surrounding them, then spreading out further than could be seen through the trees. There, that should keep any yokai from over hearing them.
"Welcome to my shrine. You are the first guests I've had in 698 years."

Taiyo followed the trail left by the wold Yokai, and stopped to look at the faded gates that same upon while walking. It seemed like people rarely came, since the Torii gates were of old wood, and the red paint was almost faded and chipped in several places. It was a sad sight to see, but he kept that comment to himself. His gold eyes scanned his surrondings a bit, seeing as he hasn't been this close to Mt. Fuji.

Ashe thought that, he noticed the shrine gates seem to restore itself, coming back to its old past self. Taiyo tilted his head, shooting it a questioning look. So, it seemed like the other yokai could control the earth, at least some what, as he felt the ground shift under his feet. Though it should be cold, he didn't feel it being a yokai of fire. His body automatically kept himself warm and toasty, even if his clothes didn't help him in this weather.

As he came upon the shrine, he took notice of the two stumps that now was there. He sat on one, with anodof thanks to the Yokai. Hearing his comment, Taiyo chuckled then said "Well, Thank you for inviting us I suppose." His shrine was usually visited by humans, since it was a modern shrine.

"Perhaps have you thought about moving your shrine somewhere closer? More humans may come visit and offer things" Taiyo continued, as he yawned. He loved offerings, whether it was food or money he was fine with both.

FUyu looked ta the human, debating whether or not to take up her offer. This wasn't an excuse to touch him and fluff him up was it? Well it was cold, and she did offer him. His master taught him to take advantage of situations after all. He puffed out his fur, as if to seem bigger as he said.

"...Then this is spoken to no one..." Fuyu said with a nod, as he crawled inside her jacket. he instantly felt warmer, and let out a sigh of relief to be away from the cold. His fur kept him warm, but he was still to young to use his flame to keep himself warm, nor was he skilled enough to do so.

Kiseki Okinawa

Kiseki looked down at the small kitsune that climbed inside her coat and giggled a bit before zipping her coat back up and running through the woods. Once Kiseki reached within eye sight of the shrine, she unzipped her coat slightly and looked down.
Would you like to come out now? That way, the others won't know that you accepted my offer.
She smiled down at the little kitsune, expecting a response. Once she got it, she jogged towards the shrine, a little out of breath.

Kiseki had to admit, she was cold too. It wasn't exactly one of the coldest days of winter, but it wasn't quite one of the warmest either. Kiseki shivered to herself slightly and was panting a little when she came close to the shrine. She bowed her head down slightly before noticing that the fox Yokai sitting on a tree stump, so she decided to take a seat on the one across from it. Kiseki sat down on the stump and crossed her arms over each other, holding her arms close to her body. She sighed and felt like she was forgetting something, but decided to brush off the feeling. It was probably nothing anyways.

Kiseki had just realized that it had been snowing. She watched as many more snowflakes beginning to fall and she smiled up at the sky. Though Kiseki didn't enjoy the cold, she loved winter and the snowy part about it. As more snow began to fall, she looked back down at the snowy ground, not wanting to get any stubborn flakes in her eyes. She held her hand out in front of her and let the cold and unique snowflakes fall on her hands.
