19 - January 1st

Sexual Orientation:

Race:
Demigod

Personality:
Andrew is a serious person. He doesn’t like to be silly or mess around as he honestly just finds it counterproductive. He enjoys being careful and considerate with everything he says and does. Another thing he finds counterproductive is lying and or dealing with liars. Andrew values the truth and he himself is blunt. He won’t think twice of telling you something you may not want to hear. Also, if you ever want to get on Andrew’s good side, be on time if you have plans with him. Andrew is impatient and hates having his time wasted. He won’t shy away from calling you out on your shit. Though, Andrew isn’t too bad, he is openminded and wouldn’t judge anyone too harshly at first.

The demigod is an observant creature. He likes to observe someone for a while before he allows himself to judge them. He has an eye for quickly noticing the small and big things. Another thing is Andrew likes to stick to the rules. He isn’t very keen or willing to break any rules or laws. The boy does have another side to him, he is a curious soul who loves to learn new things and ask questions. Another thing about Andrew is that he is brave. He can be scared shitless of something, but will still have the willpower to overcome the ordeal. On the outside, it could seem like he fears nothing when he truly does.

Lastly some people aren’t gaining as much wealth as before, especially those who had sold their soul to the β€œDevil” a.k.a. Hades.

ImageHistory:
Victoria and Erika Vernon were the lovely humans who had the opportunity to adopt and name Andrew as soon as he was born. He had been born to a young woman who became pregnant thanks to a one night stand. She couldn’t keep the child as her family was very religious and would shame her. She wouldn’t even had been able to raise the child alone. Though, she did make the deal to get pictures of Andrew as he grew, but to never be able to reach out to him. She left her information in case Andrew every wanted to know her or know about her. When his mothers told him of this, Andrew didn’t care and had no interest in the woman. Why would he want to know about someone who gave him up so easily? He was very happy with the family he got.

When Andrew was adopted he gained a sister, Francis, who was about six years his senior. She had been born to Victoria in her previous marriage. His sister absolutely adored him. Three years later his parents decided they’d like one more child, so Erika became pregnant. Andrew was overjoyed his family would grow. He loved having his sister Francis around. It was a bit of a surprise when the family found out Erika would be having twins. Nine months later Jasmine and Tiana were born. Andrew was cursed and blessed to be the only boy in the house. Well, one more boy was in the house, but in the furry variety. When Andrew was about four, a small black dog appeared on their doorstep. It was love at first sight when he saw the puppy, he had been with Mom when she opened the door. The puppy looked like a Rottweiler, expect all black. Andrew named it Morgan.

Andrew was happy in his family, and he loved their tradition of β€œFamily Game Night”. Though, they’d only do game night if everyone was done with any weekend homework. On the weekends, he and his siblings would help at Halos. Halos was the family business, a small little pizza shop in New York. They are popular in their area, but that is because their pizza is delicious. The slogan is: Made with love. Around when Andrew turned sixteen, he began to run his own dog walker and pet sitter business. His business is called β€œVernon’s Pet Services”. He found business and was happy to make some money on his own. Once he graduated high school, he just expanded his small business and he started going to school part time to work towards a bachelor’s degree in business. His parents convinced him to go to school. Andrew plans on being an entrepreneur.

So begins...

Ariel Doe

Ariel was going to kill Zan. Well, she’d come close to killing him anyways. It wasn’t like Apollo could punish her. He was missing along with Hades, Aphrodite, Zeus, Ares, and Artemis. One downside of Apollo missing was that New York was stuck in constant night. She missed the sunlight. Ariel wished New York was cursed with constant daylight instead. What was summer without the sun anyways?

She pulled herself out of her thoughts and took a deep breath in annoyance. She was trying to calm down before she went after Zan. She wasn’t too worried about going after him because Silas would be at his desired location. Poor Silas is going to have a conniption when he see Zan enter the bar alone.

Anger made her blood boil, but she just continued to do some deep breathing. She couldn’t believe Zan left while she got ready. It didn’t even take her that long. She had just put on a white tank top and beige shorts with matching colored gladiator sandals that stopped just above her ankles. Once she had gotten ready, she noticed she had forgotten her phone in the bathroom. It died right after Silas had texted her.

When she knocked on the bathroom door and called for Zan, she got no response. So, like any sane person, she broke the door down. No one was in the bathroom and the window was open. It only took her minutes to grab her grey book bag, put her charger away, and grab her phone. Instead of looking out the window or leaving through it, she locked the window. Ariel left the apartment infuriated.

Once outside, she turned her phone on and saw she had a miss call from Silas. She decided she’d just tell him what happened in person if he asked. All she could think of was to call Zan to see if she could get a hold of him. Her lips pressed together in annoyance when she kept going to voicemail. Ariel got even angrier when the ringing suddenly stopped, and she got sent to voicemail. Her next call just went to voicemail with no ringing.

β€œHow many times have I told him not to shut his phone off?” she mumbled. Ariel could imagine herself choking Zan. She hated when he turned his phone off. At least if his phone was on, she knew he was okay and could call or text her if he needed to get saved. Right now, with his phone off, he could be dead for all she knew. Her rational side knew he was fine.

As she was only a few minutes from reaching Finch, two males dashed by her. Next a mini-Cerberus ran by her. Are you serious? Fucking Hades took the cover off the dog. Decides to waste his energy by taking the cover away. Normal humans would just see a normal dog, but demigods/goddesses, nymphs, oracles, and the like would see a three-headed dog. Without a second thought, she ran after them. She pushed people out of her way without a care. Ariel caught up to the boys and ushered them into Finch before the dog caught up to them.

β€œWait here. My friends and I will help you find your dog with the extra two heads. Don’t leave if you want to know what happened to your dog,” she said as she looked at the boys. Look at that, Hades’s and Artemis’s kid together. Ariel turned on her heels and walked over to Silas. She saw Zan out of the corner of her eye, but she’d strangle him later. When she was close enough to Silas, she leaned forward a bit to be able to whisper in his ear.

β€œHades took the cover off his kid’s dog…so his kid and Artemis’s kid just saw it with three-heads. We need to help find the do-,” she paused as her eyes wandered around. Her eyes widen. It was time. All of the demigods/goddesses kids were in one place. Her gaze when to Silas once more. β€œWell, it’s time to fulfill the prophecy to find the missing gods and goddess or the world is doomed. We need to keep everyone here until the show is over and then gather them to explain things.”

Diana really felt like she needed to get out of her brother’s hair. Yes, she owed a lot to him. He was the best brother a person could ask for (minus the fact that locked her in a closet once, but she was five and barley remembers it.) Diana just feels like she causes him a lot of grief. When their mom had decided to move back to Ireland two years back, Diana felt she had no choice but to follow her. Instead, Davin offered her a job and allowed her to say in his tiny loft above it with him. Meanwhile, all Diana had repaid him with was the some how uncanny ability to ruin his relationships, and a couple of broken bottles of top shelf liquor.

Yep. She was a great sister.

No matter where she went, chaos tended to follow Diana. For a long time, she honestly thought it was normal. Didn’t people get into fights all the time around others? Apparently, that wasn’t the case. Anytime Davin got a girlfriend, first they would be uncomfortable spending time in his tiny place with her when the siblings most defiantly did not look related. And then secondly, it was like they went crazy whenever she was around, yelling and throwing a fuss. It was her curse; she knew that much. The same tended to happen whenever she worked the bar. There was a lot more yelling at fights than the usual.

Ergo, she needed to get out of his hair. She had been stock piling a bit of money. Along with the money she made from the bar, she had taken up a few odd jobs, just helping people with whatever they needed. She had gone to school for two years, but didn’t have a degree. She sort of regretted not sticking with it. She was smart, she learned from books and knew everything they would have taught her anyway. She just felt she didn’t need a slip of paper telling others she did. She was wrong there.

Sighing out loud, she realized she had just been sitting on her bed staring at a wall for about half an hour contemplating all this. Oops. She had a shift downstairs tonight. A band was playing so they expected a least a bit more people than their usual crowd. Shaking her head clear of the thoughts, she realized she’d need to come up with a definitive plan later. Might as well not stress about it now, though.

Bouncing off the bed, she scurried over to her closet and pulled out the first dress she saw. Throwing on a pair of white converse, she skipped out of her room, and down the stairs to the bar, humming all the way.

Twirling as she reached the bottom, she snuck behind the bar just as Aella and her band member started playing. She liked their music, they were good. She just always got the heebie Jeebies from the guy who always followed her around.
"How can you be late when you live upstairs, D?” Finn groaned, her coworker and fellow bartender. Giving a bright smile, Diana threw her arm around his neck and said, β€œI know, I’m sorry, what can I do?” Rolling his eyes, he returned the smile as he slunk out of her grasp. β€œJust get people’s orders.” Winking, she turned away, popping under the counter quickly to grab a jar of olives from their mini fridge. Popping it open, she started eating them to settle her stomach. She had completely forgotten to have dinner, so drink garnishes would have to do.

Standing back up, jar still in hand, she smiled wide when she noticed one of her regular costumers, Delphi, sitting at the table by the exit. She was pretty, anyone would think so. Diana had actually had to wrestle song guys out of the bar for harassing her before. It was probably Diana’s own fault anyway, being her curse and all.

Moving over towards her, she offered her a bubbly smile, placing the hand not currently holding the jar on her shoulder. "What’ll it be tonight, Delphi? First one’s on the house.” Leaning down closer, she loudly whispered, β€œjust don’t tell the bar owner.”

Leaning back up and turning her attention to the door, Diana was startled watching as two boys were ushered in. Waitβ€” one of them looked familiar… didn’t he work at the library? Dang, they looked out of breath. Letting her eyes wander as the girl walked over to heebie-jeebie guy, Diana mumbled, β€œhey Del, I’ll be one sec,” before strolling over to the two. Tapping the girl on the shoulder, she asked, β€œi everything okay with those two?”

Andrew Vernon

Andrew was having a shit day. Morgan had been acting a bit snippy all day. He was aggressive with the other dogs during the morning walk. Andrew had to leave him at home while he walked the other dogs for his small business. Andrew had done his jobs for the day and just stepped out of the shower. He just threw on a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black timberland boots. Morgan was growling at him each time he walked by. Andrew had to ignore the dog as it was bothering him. The dog’s bad mood was souring his mood.

He had plan on eating the dinner his Mama had saved for him, but Morgan was pushing him towards the door. Andrew was about to snap at Morgan to stop, but then something weird began to happen to him. On both sides of his neck, two bumps began to form and grow rather quickly. Andrew ran to Morgan and looked at him worried. Andrew touched the bumped and that is when Morgan almost bit him. Quickly he stepped back and slowly headed to the apartment’s entrance. Whatever was going to happen, it wasn’t going to happen in the house.

Once out of the apartment, he whistled for Morgan to come. He wouldn’t allow the hostile dog to bite any of his family members. Morgan came running out and all the blood seem to leave his face. What came running out his door was Morgan, but bigger with muscles and two more heads. With all heads growling at him, he ran down the steps of the apartment. On his way out the door, he saw Niko. He knew the boy as Andrew was in the library often.

Glancing back, he saw Morgan was flying down the stairs. Andrew grabbed Niko by the arm and ran down the street. He ignored the curses from the people nearby. As they ran, he bumped into a girl. He didn’t even notice when the girl began to run behind them. Andrew even allowed the girl to usher them into some building. His hand still held onto Niko’s arm as the girl spoke. Andrew didn’t even hear what she said really as he was trying to catch his breath. The only thing he caught was something about his three-headed dog. When the girl walked away, he looked at Niko.

β€œHey, sorry about my dog,” he paused as he bit his lip nervously, β€œCan you stay with me? I would like some help finding Morgan. I’d love to know what is wrong with him as well.” He glanced at Niko’s arm and noticed his arm around it. He unhooked his arm and just crossed his arms over his chest. Andrew glanced around as he wondered where they were. The boy didn’t go out much. He worked, studied, went to the library, and had Morgan Time. His expression was blank as he glanced at the people performing on the stage.

Nikolas brought a journal and pen everywhere he went, and in that journal was every weird, interesting, or unusual thing he’d ever come across. In short, they were things he didn’t want to forget. One page recounts how he came across an elderly man in the library who ripped out a page in order to blow his nose with it. Another page describes how he met his dog Maisie, how on the first day she strolled into the shelter he felt some weird pull towards her. He had a couple of bizarre reoccurring hunting dreams as well, always involving a bow an arrow and a woman he could never quite fully see.

He’d almost had a really good addition to his journal today. He could see it in his sights, but as much as he wanted to stop the girl from what she was doing, he also just wanted to see her finish the task before he had. There he was, just putting books away at the public library when a girl no older than fifteen pulled out a sandwich from her bagβ€”food was strictly against the rules. She pulled out a single tomato slice from between the pieces of bread, made a pretty disgusted face, before cracking open a book. He could see the debate in her eye whether or not to stick it on the page and close the book. He could see the action playing in her eyes. For a good minute she just stared at the page, looking up occasionally with shifty eyes waiting to be caught. Niko was safely tucked behind the shelf. She couldn’t see him.

In the end, the girl got up to throw the tomato in a nearby trashcan. He almost recounted the weird scene anyway, but the inner debate in her head that he could only guess didn’t make quite a good enough story as the real thing would have. It was only a young adult novel after all. He would have stopped her immediately if it was an expensive encyclopedia or Earnest Hemmingway or someone of the like. It was a disappointing missed chance, but Niko would live.

Strolling down the street from after work, he glanced down at his tee-shirt that had a slight, barley noticeable stain on it. He had no idea what from, the only thing he had to eat today was a tuna salad… was it the soup from last weak? Had he really not washed this shirβ€”

Suddenly, yelling started coming from his apartment building as Niko was just making it up the steps. Snapping his head up from where he was looking at the hem of his shirt, he barley got a glance of the huge multi-headed dog before Andrew grabbed him and started running, pulling him along. Not even bothering to question it, Niko raced along with him, only yelling out once in disbelief, β€œis that Morgan?!”

This was absolutely going in his journal.

Soon enough, their running duo turned into a running trio when they bumped into a girl. Pretty quickly she ushered them into a building (why hadn’t they thought of going into a building before?) in which he had never entered before. It looked like a bar, and hey, isn’t the girl singing that girl he’d helped after she got a sprained ankle?

Andrew’s voice brought him back from his wandering thoughts again, and Niko only stared at him, quietly stunned. So it was Morgan? But Morgan was a simple dog. Whatever the hell that was, it was no longer the Morgan he knew. Glancing down as he dropped his arm, Niko finally found his voice and slightly sputtered out, β€œuh, yeah, yeah of course.” Tapping his thigh with his fingers anxiously, he was silent for about 30 seconds before quietly asking, β€œdo you know where we are?”

Delphi Adams

Delphi was disappointed when she didn’t see Diana. Her eyes wandered around as she took in the crowd for the night. They stayed on the stage as the performance started. A small smile graced her lips. The music was good and the girl’s voice was lovely. Her gaze left the band as Diana caught her attention behind the bar. She forced herself to look down at her phone as she grinned ear to ear. Delphi got so happy every time she saw Diana. It was ridiculous, but it was the same feeling that happened with Delphi’s other crushes. She glanced up again to see Diana popping under the counter.

Before Diana could pop up again, her gaze went back to her phone. She unlocked it with a finger and scrolled through her phone to keep herself from staring at Diana. She felt impatient as she waited for Diana to come take her order. At the thought, she sensed someone walking towards her. When she glanced up, she was delighted to see it was Diana. The girl had a lovely dress on and a jar of olives in a hand. She felt her cheeks turn hot when Diana touched her shoulder. Her brain kind of blanked after Diana asked her a question. She had to take a deep slow breath to clear her mind.

Her cheeks got hotter when she leaned down closer to her. The girl was going to make her heart give out one day. She was about to tell her what she wanted, but she got distracted. Delphi’s eyes wandered over to the door as well. Two boys were being ushered in by a redhead. Delphi knew the faces. She seen them at the library or just around the city. Also, her lovely mother had told her who they were. The redhead was an oracle that had a vision years ago about some gods going missing. The vision apparently included Aphrodite and Delphi. It made sense to her since they were the cause of the missing gods.

β€œOkay,” she replied as she watched Diana walked away. Delphi smoothed her dress out before her eyes glanced at her phone. She had a message from Ava, which was really Aphrodite. Delphi opened the message and the corner of her lips twitched slightly, attempting to make a frown. Delphi forced herself to smile. Message read: β€œStay at the bar, it may be time.” A soft sigh escaped her lips. She was dreading the day the vision came true. She put her phone in her purse and tried to clear her mind. Delphi wasn’t going to stress herself out because of her thoughts. Why had she ever agreed to help her mother? The world was suffering, and the guilt was eating away at her slowly.

Staying in his leaned position against the wall, Silas let his gaze wander away from Aella to look around the bar. He had been here a handful of times, mostly when the band played but a couple of times after sneaking away to get a much needed drink. Considering his less than human status, it took a bit to get him drunk. Silas was more used to the extremely strong fairy alcohol that knocked him on his ass at home. Human alcohol was barley comparable, but getting about ten or so drinks in him did soften him up a bit so he didn’t want to hurl everything he saw at a wall. Self medication at it’s finest.

Studying some of the faces of those around him, he’d already spotted the blonde sitting at a booth by herself. He recognized her as Aphrodite’s daughter, though he had never spoken to her before. He had seen her once or twice at this bar before, and had been in occasional contact with Cupid until he went radio silent.

Soon enough, another familiar demi-god face popped next to the blonde. Diana was Ares kid, and worked at the bar so he’d seen her nearly every time he was in here. Silas had probably spoken around 10 words to the girl. Chaos really seemed to follow her wherever she went, like father like daughter. He was honestly shocked she hadn’t been assigned a guardian, but he could only image that if she had one, the poor person would be more frustrated than Arial and Silas put together. Diana seemed nice, but damn it would be a handful fixing the mess her aura created around her.

Moving his eyes to briefly look at the band again as they wrapped up the song, he moved his gaze slightly until catching the familiar head of Zan sitting right in the fucking front row. β€œGods help me,” Silas all but practically snarled, not seeing Ariel anywhere near him. He was about to stock over there and physically remove him, until Ariel suddenly burst in with two guysβ€”one who looked familiarβ€” before approaching him. Aella and Ben began another song.

Silas was all but ready to give his red-headed friend shit for ignoring his calls and texts, but her whispered words caused a long groan to escape him as a headache started to spread in his head. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he closed his eyes tightly, trying to compose himself. Opening his eyes to look at the guys by the door again, he muttered, β€œwhat the hell was Hades thinking.” What good would releasing the bloody hell hound do if the kid knew nothing of his past? Thank fate that they were all brought here at least before he lost his damned mind.

Snapping his head over to the brunette that strolled towards them, he simply glowered at Diana. Ignoring her question all together, Silas asked, β€œcan we use your backroom?” The girl stared at him in confusion for a couple seconds before snapping out of it. β€œUh, yeah? Yeah, sure, what for?” Silas moved to stare at the two guys again, stating, β€œyou’ll find out since you’ll be there. Bring your blonde friend over there with you.” Silas muttered, nodding a head at Aphrodite’s daughter direction. Looking down at Ariel, Silas ordered, "I’m not waiting for their set to be over. Go grab the guys and your idiot, while I go deal with mine.”

Silas was not looking forward to explaining all of this to Aella. He was probably going to get hit.

Finishing up her second song and moving onto the third, Aella had tuned all her sense onto the music and had essentially blocked out all the scenery around her, simply focused on singing and the guitar. Pausing only to pick up her own electric guitar, she gave a small nod to Ben beside her, signalling for him to put his acoustic down. Muttering lowly into the microphone with a small smile tugging at the corner of her lip, she said, β€œBen’s poor fingers need frequent breaks.” He just scoffed before picking up a water bottle off the ground and taking a couple slow slips.

Plucking a few strings and adjusting the tuning again until she was satisfied, Aella finally gave a focused glance out the crowd and saw Silas speaking to Ariel. Shit. Those two had that look of conspiring frustration that never meant any good. Oh well, they couldn’t give her crap up here. Even Aella knew Silas wouldn’t drag her off the stage like a caveman. Well, she seriously hoped he wouldn’t.

Brushing away her concerned thoughts away, she began playing the tune to Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence as she sang along in the microphone.

Midway through the song, even through her practiced focus, she could sense hard eyes on her that definitely wasn’t someone just watching from the crowd. Lifting her head slightly to look, Silas was standing just left to the stage right up front, giving her a serious look that she couldn’t quite read. Yeah, not good. Not good at all.

Well if he was going to spoil her fun, she was going to make him wait to do it. After the second chorus, Aella strummed simply on her guitar, giving an instrumental pause to the song that didn’t hinder it at all. Silas had heard her play this multiple times enough to know it wasn’t really apart of the cover she did, and she swear to god she saw his right eye twitch in annoyance.

The instrumental break only gave her about a 35 second extension, but as the song was coming to an end, she strummed and sang a little slower, giving her maybe an extra ten seconds. When the song wrapped, she gave Silas a long hard look, but he only gave her a hard stare back before jerking his head for her to get off the stage. Jesus, what had he and Ariel talked about? She couldn’t remember doing anything to piss him off, though, she wouldn’t be ultimately surprised if she had forgotten something she had done weeks prior.

With a small huff, she gave an apologetic look to Ben as she set her guitar down. She knew he had a couple of their songs he knew acoustically and could sing by himself. Clearing her throat slightly, she smiled and said into the microphone, β€œI’m taking a little break, but I’m leaving Ben so you can all gawk at his pretty face.”

Hopping off the stage in one fluid movement, Silas gave her his signature pissed off look as she brushed passed him, bumping him with her shoulder, which really just hit the tall asshole on his lower arm. Quickly he reached out to grasp her upper arm, lightly, not enough to hurt. He guided her to the backroom before she ripped his hand away from her arm, shoving him away by pushing against his chest. He didn’t budge from the force, but stepped back none the less as if courteous.

β€œSilas, this better be good or I swear to god I’ll toss your precious bike over a cliff.”

Zan Wong

Zan finished his first beer rather quickly. He replaced the bottle with the full one at his feet. As he took a sip of the second beer, he held his breath as he turned his phone on in bravery. He knew his life was in danger thanks to his actions and Ariel. He let out a low whistle as he saw how many missed calls he had. A tensed smile graced his lips as he imagined the stings he was going to feel from Ariel’s hits.

He was distracted when he saw Silas go get a drink. Maybe the hard ass will relax finally. He quickly came out of his thoughts when he saw Ariel burst in with two guys. He stood slowly and walked over to lean against the wall. She seemed okay, which would mean he’d get hit sooner than later. When he saw Silas and Ariel talking, he knew it’d be best to try to just blend it. He watched as a bartender approached them. She had just been talking to a cute blonde.

Buzz.

He read the text and rolled his eyes. Ariel has just messaged him to follow Silas into the backroom. He frowned, but would do what she said. Zan knew he already pissed her off. He finished his beer and just placed it on the ground. Slowly, very slowly, he followed Silas who had headed to the stage. He stretched slowly and put a charismatic smile on his lips. A second later he followed them into the backroom.

"Hello, nice to see you two,” he paused.

Buzz.

Zan took his gaze off them to glanced at his phone. Another message from Ariel, which just told him to behave. Since she sent that text, of course he wasn’t going to behave. He winked at Silas and Aella.

β€œIf you two just wanted alone time with me, you could have just asked. I’d be happy to play with you two. Threesomes are pretty fun. We just need to come up with a safe word,” he added. He grinned like an idiot. He was far enough to not be in range to get hit. Zan leaned against a wall and crossed his ankles. He crossed his arms after as he waited for one of the two to react.

Ariel Doe

Ariel had to stop herself from reacting when Diana tapped her shoulder. Her first reaction was to flip the girl over her shoulder and drop her to the floor. Ariel didn’t take too well to surprises and always was ready to defend herself. She glanced at the girl and considered how she should answer her. Ariel didn’t need to think for long as Silas answered. Well, he ignored her question, but he spoke in response to her. Ariel simply nodded in response when Silas spoke to her.

The thought of Zan made her blood boil. She didn’t even bother to look for his location in the bar. She took her phone out and shot him a quick text. For his sake, he better had turned his phone on. She assumed he saw her already. Once the text was sent, she headed over to Nikolas and Andrew. She shot them a small smile. Though, a thought came to mind and she shot Zan another text before she put her phone away.

β€œHey Guys, let’s go to the backroom. My friend and I have a few things to explain. Also, the people there will help us find your dog. Follow please,” she said before turning on her heels and heading to the backroom. As she almost entered the room, she heard Zan’s last sentence and knew he had been inappropriate. She took a deep breath and didn’t even glance back to see if the boys were following. Ariel stormed into the room and stared daggers at Zan. In a flash, she slapped him across the face.

β€œWhat do you need a safe word for? Didn’t I tell you to behave? And I told you to not turn your phone off,” she said, her voice raising into a scream. As Zan looked at her again, she slapped him again, but on the other cheek. β€œAnd next time you ditch me, I’ll push you out the bathroom window,” she added, just screaming at him now. As if nothing happened, she calmly turned to look at Aella and Silas. She gave them a friendly smile.

β€œThe boys should be following me Silas. Aella, your performance was very lovely. I am sorry we had to cut it short,” she said, her voice warm and friendly. Suddenly, Ariel flinched as a migraine came on. Great. A certain god was trying to talk to her.

Diana was a little taken aback and the man’s abruptness. She wasn’t sure she’d ever had a conversation where there wasn’t really any direct eye contact at all. She felt no need to argue his use for the backroom. Not that she wanted to, the man intimidated her quite frankly. She figured it was a band thing, considering he was tagging along with Aella. She was unsure who the red head was he was standing beside, however. She had said nothing, and she noted that she seemed to have surprised the girl with her presence. She looked nearly ready to react before she settled herself.

Taking the marching order’s given to her by Silas, she turned on her heel and strolled over to Delphi’s table, assuming she was the blonde friend in which he referred to.

Bending down a little so she didn’t have to talk loudly over the music, she smiled and said, β€œweird question, but do you mind coming to the back room with me, hun?” Glancing up slightly, she noted how Silas all but looked at Aella until she stepped off the stage. So it was a band thing? Why did they need Delphi, let alone herself? Maybe she should grab her brother or something.

Glancing back down at Delphi, she gave the girl a grin and said β€œI don’t know what’s going on, but apparently we’re needed back there.” Standing up straighter, her eyes wandered around the bar before seeing the red head slipping into the backroom with the two boys who had just entered previously. Hmm, maybe it was them that needed something? Maybe Delphi knew them.

Strolling into the backroom, she entered just a few short seconds after Ariel, just in time to hear Aella yell, β€œSafe word? How about uncle? Cause that's what you'll be cryin' when I beat you to a pulp!” She seemed to move, ready to launch herself at the boy, when Silas grabbed her by the waist suddenly, letting her dangle over his hold like an angry rag doll. Silas didn’t look all to happy either, staring daggers at the same boy. She could see him contemplating beating him up himself.

Soon enough, the red-head slapped the boy, and turned to compliment Aella all in the same breath. Okay. Weird group. Walking over to Aella, she placed a soft hand on her arm, asking Silas to, β€œput her down.” He contemplated it for a second, but set her on her feet, Aella shooting him a nasty glare that almost matched his own intensity. Diana rolled her eyes. It’s always the same with the two. Looping her arm through Aella’s, she pulled her along to stand away from both boys. Patting her hand, she released her to walk over to the industrial sink, putting some water in a mug from the cabinet above. Moving back over to Aella, she silently offered her the water, figuring she’d need it for her voice. Aella offered the girl a grateful smile, saying a small, β€œthank you,” before grabbing the mug in both hands and sipping it gingerly.

Diana, ready to know what was going on, planted both her hands on her hips firmly and asked, β€œso, what’s with the meeting of us merry band of misfits?”

Andrew Vernon

Andrew just stared back at Nikolas. Nikolas seemed a bit stunned. He rolled his shoulders back as Nikolas glanced down. Andrew smiled a bit as he never thought the boy to be awkward. Andrew was glad when he agreed to stay. At his question, Andrew gave a small shrug. He looked around before his gaze returned to Nikolas.

β€œI have no idea honestly,” he said. He crossed his arms as he waited for the redhead to return. The redhead had gone off to talk to god knows who. Andrew was glad when she returned because he was ready to leave to look for Morgan on his own. Once she spoke, Andrew followed behind her, but stopped as soon as they entered the backroom. The two girls in the room were crazy.

They just yelled at some guy because of a safe word. Why are we talking about a safe word? What the hell did I get Nikolas and I into? He noticed a girl walk in behind him, but ignored her presence for now. Andrew felt a bit tense because of the violence. He took in his surroundings and glanced at Nikolas. Quietly he inched closer to Nikolas. He was the only person he knew. These other people seemed unpredictable too. When the girl who entered behind him spoke, his gaze wandered over to her. He took note of her hazel eyes.

β€œI need help finding my dog,” he said. Though, he stopped talking to pull his phone out to find a picture of Morgan. He had tons of photos of his dog in his phone. He flipped his phone around and moved it around, so everyone saw what his dog looked like.

β€œHis name is Morgan, he is usually sweet, but something weird happened to him…he grew two heads and is bigger, like he is more muscular and a bit taller. I know it sounds crazy, but Nikolas saw him too,” he added. He ran his fingers through his hair as he waited for responses. Andrew knew they were going to think he was nuts.

Niko walked into the backroom with a dazed look on his face. He truly didn’t know what was happening. It was shock enough seeing Andrews dog the way he was, but now all this. Biting his bottom lip, he tapped his hand on his thigh slightly anxious of the situation and for Morgan. He couldn’t imagine that happening to Maisie. He hoped the dog was okay.

Looking up from where he was staring at his feet, he met the glare of a familiar looking green-eyed guy. He had no idea why he was glaring at him so nastily, or why he recognized him at all. Where had he seen him before?

All of a sudden, a small ball of blonde hair flung herself at him, wrapping her arms around his sides in a tight hug. β€œAh! I knew it was you! Nikolas right? Remember me? I took a tumble down the library stairs and sprained my ankle, you helped me an-β€œ a gruff voice cut her off as the glaring dude muttered, β€œstop bugging him, Stormy.” The small girl pouted before letting go of his arm. She had splashed some of the water from the mug on his shirt she had haphazardly still had in her hand when she’d hugged him. He didn’t really mind. At least now he knew why they looked so familiar. Smiling down at the girl, he gave her a short nod as he said, β€œYes, I remember you Aella. How’s the ankle, so it really was a sprain?” She nodded exuberantly. β€œYeah. Well, a teeny tiny hairline fraction, but it’s fine now.” Grinning, Niko was going to say something else, before Andrew’s voice caught his attention.

Nikolas didn’t need to look at the picture of the dog he showed, but he took note of the other’s reactions. Aella cooed β€œawe, puppy”, Silas just grunted once he registered the image, and the dark haired girl in the yellow dress all of a sudden got a very determined look on her previously calm demeanor.

Aella piped in asking, β€œwait, two heads? And how big we talking. Here?β€œshe questioned, lifting her hand to around her mid section. When nothing was said, she got on her tippy toes and stretched her hand all the way up, asking β€œhow bout here?” Silas pushed her hand down and she shot him a look. Diana was the next to speak as she looked determinedly at Andrew saying, β€œwe’ll find him! Don’t worry! We should all split up in teams, that way we can cover more ground. Where do you think he might run off to, any familiar places he’d know to go?”

Everyone

Delphi just looked up and smiled at Diana while she strolled over. She stayed stilled as she spoke. Delphi took long deep breaths to keep her cheeks from turning red. The butterflies in her stomach seemed to have doubled as she had no idea how to answer. Her thoughts just stormed as she considered her options.

When Diana glanced back at her, she just smiled. Her cheeks felt a bit warm, and they were a light pink. Thank goodness, it wasn’t what I was thinking. Though, why are we needed back there? Grabbing her phone, she followed Diana. It wasn’t like she could say no to the girl anyways.

When she entered the room, her eyes got as big as saucers. What did she just walk into? The girl who was performing was losing it. Luckily, someone stopped her. Though, what Diana did next, did spark up the dangerous jealously deep down in her. Delphi easily ignored the emotion and just leaned against the wall. Delphi put her phone away and looked around. She made sure not to look in Diana’s or Aella’s direction.

When Andrew mentioned his missing dog, she immediately felt bad. She’d feel awful if any of the cats in her shop ran away. Ariel’s head was killing her. Though, she was still able to look at Aella. Only reason Ariel didn’t laugh was so Silas didn’t get cranky. Diana had a good idea of making teams. Before she could speak, her vision blurred and she stubbled back. Zan caught and looked at her.

β€œAre you okay? Your nose is bleeding,” Zan said, worry in his voice. Ariel opened her now bloodshot eyes and knew where the dog would be. She got a vision of Central Park. She brushed Zan off, still angry with him. Ariel wiped the blood from under her nose with her hand. She didn’t want to, but wiped her hand on her pants.

β€œI’m fine. Now, let’s break into teams. I imagine the dog went to Central Park, is that correct?” she asked. She glanced at Andrew. Andrew nodded. His eyes were filled with surprise as her assumption was freaky right. β€œGood,” she said. She clapped her hands together.

β€œNow we will be making teams of two. Teams are, Aella and I. Silas and Zan. Andrew and Nikolas. Diana and Delphi,” she said. She glared at Zan and Silas to dare them to object. β€œLet’s go, we can head to the park together and split up there,” she added. Without a second thought, she walked out of the bathroom to head to Central Park. Andrew, Zan, and Delphi followed her. Delphi handed Ariel a small package of tissue.

β€œThank you,” Ariel muttered as she wiped her nose. Though, the darn thing continued to bleed. She held a few tissues to her nose. Fucking visions.
