GODLY PARENT Aphrodite
POWERS Lola has always excelled when it comes to skills of persuasion, her natural charisma gives her an advantage and her powers only help to heighten that persuasive aura she has about her. Anatomy alteration, on the other hand, is something Lola has found she struggles more than just a little bit with during her time at Theos. Perhaps because she is simply not skilled enough, or she is too vain to want to change her own appearance, Lola just cannot change a single feature on her face, however she has managed to change her body ever so slightly and with a lot of practice.
RELATIONSHIP WITH GODLY PARENT As far as most relationships between the child of a Goddess and said Deity go, Lola's isn't all that bad. Sure, she doesn't see her mother often but then again, she doesn't expect to. A lot of the Theos kids think that just because they are their children, they are entitlement to as much time with their parents as possible. Lola knows that's not the case. Many remark just how much Lola is like her mother, and sure enough, just like Aphrodite, Lola is fickle. This means she's never grown overly attached to the Goddess she calls her mum, and is okay with their limited time together.

STRENGTHS
XXXPersuasion | The one power that Lola can safely say she is at least good at. Helped by her natural personality, Lola is pretty good at convincing people to do what she wants, especially when they're close to her.
XXXTough | Say what you want about Lola, but the girl sure is resilient. Nothing seems to get to her, unless you comment on her appearance.
XXXLying | More than adept at lying, this has come in handy for Lola on more than one occasion. Many would consider being a liar a fault but Lola feels as though it works to her advantage.

WEAKNESSES
XXXFickle | Wherever she goes, a trail of broken hearts always follow. Lola may act completely infatuated with someone one minute, and the next she has utterly gone off them and is onto the next person. Regardless of gender.
XXXVain | Now, not many things will hurt Lola, the only thing that really gets to her is comments on her appearance. Being such an incredibly insecure child, Lola has fought her way to loving her appearance and even the tiniest knock can set her back.
XXXBitchy | Ask anyone at Theos and they'll tell you Lola's a bitch. But she's a bitch and proud. There's nothing wrong with people a fiery person and if that comes off as bitchy to others, Lola doesn't at all care.

QUIRKS AND HABITS
XXXHugger | What can she do? Lola's a lover not a fighter, and every time she sees someone even vaguely familiar Lola is wrapping her arms tightly around them before they've even seen her.
XXXBilingual | Growing up in Brazil, Lola is fluent in Portugese as well as English.
XXXEye Rolling | Without even realising, as soon as Lola is somewhat done with a conversation, you'll see her rolling her eyes. Perhaps the most frustrating thing she does during arguments is just sit there with her arms folded, rolling her eyes to whatever you say.

PERSONALITY
There's no denying that Lola is often categorised as a 'wild card'. She gets into trouble at Theos frequently because of her skipping classes to go off adventuring or distracting the rest of the class with her chattering, often about nothing. Despite this, Lola holds a certain kind of charm that draws friends to her. The charm passed down to her from her mother has always been greatly useful to Lola in life, and due to it, she has always been one of the more 'popular' kids. She can definitely be selfish and stubborn, but Lola does love those she considers to be family and wears her heart on her sleeve.

A true hopeless romantic, Lola is in love with the idea of love. She just can't commit. Wandering eyes are Lola's worst enemy and every time she feels as though she's found 'the one' another beautiful person will come along and Lola will be left wondering. The fear of missing out on something great keeps Lola out of long term relationships. One thing she is proud of though, is that Lola has never once cheated on someone. Yes, she's fickle, but Lola could never hurt someone in that way.

Now Lola's no compulsive liar, but the girl has been known to spin a few white ones in order to get her way. If you ask her opinion straight up, Lola will tell the truth, regardless of whether it hurts your feelings. However, when it comes to flirting and hook-ups, what harm could a few little lies do? It's purely to make herself seem more impressive to the other person.

Growing up being told stories about her mother daily, Lola has always been told by her father that she is not your regular girl, but a Princesa destined for greatness. While that's all well and good, and it certainly made Lola feel important, it also inflated her ego. In fact, it got to the point where Lola was walking around her little local school, informing everyone that she was a Rainha (Queen) and therefore should be treated as such. Naturally, this is where the bullying began. Perhaps Lola may have caused it, but once she realised everyone at school seemed to hate her, there was nothing Lola could do to make it stop. Even when she finally shut up and kept to herself, the others would constantly mock the girl. From childhood to her early teen years, Lola was not the girl you see today. Instead she was an insecure wreck who hated talking just incase someone might say something mean to her.

It took years, and a lot of encouragement from her father, but Lola slowly began to gain her confidence back, just as her powers started to emerge. She had gotten over the stage where she believed her father's 'made-up' stories about her mother being a Goddess and resigned herself to the fact that she was simply just a normal human girl. However, that would all drastically change when she came face-to-face with Aphrodite, at the age of 15. There was no way she could call her dad a liar anymore, he truly had created a child with this gorgeous Deity stood in front of Lola's very eyes. They spoke for hours before Aphrodite disappeared leaving Lola with much to think about.

Day after day, Lola slowly turned into the young woman she is now. Strong, resilient and sure, a little bitchy. She loves herself, but loves her friends much more and would do anything for them. There is no one more willing to do anything for the sake of love than Lola. Her heart is, without a doubt, full to the brim with overflowing love.

HISTORY
Ezequiel had always been a stunning man, often being referred to as a modern day Adonis by his elder female family members. It was no surprise then, when Aphrodite noticed Ezequiel during her travels all around the realm, collecting lovers, she fell for his beauty. Knowing she had to have him, Aphrodite appeared in Ezequiel's little studio the next day, her looks so blinding that he was in love with her the second they locked eyes. Having just turned twenty, the young man was only beginning to discover the concept of love and romance, when he found that he was falling for the Goddess of exactly that. However, the pair could never fathom being wholly together, both far too infatuated with the beautiful people of the world. Perhaps one of the only humans that could understand Aphrodite's inability for monogamy, the pair would happily be together whenever Aphrodite appeared in his little studio, but as soon as she disappeared, both of their options were open to the rest of the world and they both certainly took advantage of that.

Aphrodite disappeared for a long time one summer evening, not to return for nine months. Ezequiel had almost given up on the thought of seeing her ever again, which hurt him greatly. He often wondered what it was he had done to lose her favour. Not one being, since Adonis, had lit a fire so bright in Aphrodite it could set cities ablaze, bar Ezequiel.

June 13th was the day Aphrodite returned, and she was not alone. Carrying a small bundle wrapped tightly in a deep scarlet muslin cloth, Ezequiel almost fell to his knees at the sight. Handing him her precious bundle, Aphrodite made Ezequiel promise that he would tell their little girl all about her mother, and who she was. Which was exactly what he did.

Growing up Aloisia would wake up to her father calling her his little Deusa (Goddess) and fall asleep to stories of her mother's beauty. Unsurprisingly, being constantly told that you're more beautiful and better than everyone else, led to Aloisia developing a large case of hubris. Her father had always been a proud man, but even he could not match the ego that had formed inside his little girl.

School became increasingly harder for Lola and as her ego grew, her popularity amongst her peers shrank. She spent much of her childhood alone or sitting in her father's studio, watching him paint beautiful pictures of the woman he claimed was her mother. None of the other kids ever wanted to hang out with Lola, and she soon realised that maybe acting as though she's better than everyone else isn't the best way to make friends.

Attempting to change her attitude toward others, Lola's peers were skeptical at first, but after years of convincing them that she was actually a very sweet little girl, Lola gained some friends back.

The best day of Lola's life happened on her 15th birthday. Having had a small gathering with friends where they shared cake and talked about nothing in particular Lola can remember, and yet at the time it felt like everything, the young woman had decided to wander off on her own for a little, enjoying the Brazilian sunshine. It may not quite be summer yet, but even the spring in Brazil was generous and the sun shone down on everyone most days. Taking a seat on an old little bench just outside of town, Lola let her mind wander. She thought about everything, her father, her friends, her mother. So much so, that Lola was oblivious when another presence took a seat next to her. It wasn't until a tap on her shoulder tore her out of her daydream that Lola's eyes fell on the woman she had longed to meet for so many years.

Aphrodite talked to Lola for hours that evening, telling her who she was, and therefore who Lola was. It wasn't until the end that she mentioned Theos. Aphrodite thought that it was time for Lola to go somewhere she could harness her upcoming abilities, before they got out of control. Telling Lola that what abilities she may possess must not be used frivolously, Aphrodite then planted a kiss on her daughter's cheek and said her goodbyes, making sure Lola took back all her love to Ezequiel.

Lola has only ever met her mother once, but from that moment, she has known that Aphrodite is the kind of being she aspires to be. So beautiful yet so gentle, there's definitely some work that needs to be done if Lola ever wants to be like that, but she hopes that with time and training, she can live up to her mother's standards.
