Roxanne Monson's Story

Roxanne was in the middle of a heated rock, paper, scissors tournament with herself when the screaming started. Her head jerked up and Roxanne 2 disappeared into her body. She bit her lip worriedly. Usually, the person screamed when the experiment was nearly over. What if she was next? And what if it had to do with... Water?

As if they were reading her mind, a scientist walked up. However, he was going towards the cage a couple rows down. She heaved a small sigh of relief. Roxy had never talked to the inhabitant of that cage personally, but she'd learned from her nearby cagemates that she was a shapeshifter. Something the scientist did must have triggered her because Roxy suddenly heard barking and growling. She couldn't help but feel a small sense of satisfaction. Even a tiny thing like that brightened her day considerably. It plummeted back down again, however, when he came up to her cage.

He grabbed her arm and placed a syringe into it. He began to draw blood and Roxy again sighed in relief. So he was just doing another blood test. The scientist took the tube of blood and walked off once more, leaving Roxanne to recommence her rock, paper, scissors competition once again. This time, she decided to invite someone other than herself. She turned to her neighbor ((OOC: Anyone is free to take this spot!)) and pantomimed the game before raising an eyebrow. Want to play rock, paper, scissors? Hopefully they were also good at charades.

Tris woke from his midday nap from a loud growling noise. 'That's unusual.' he thought. Normally, the scientists (write scientist and read maniacs) wouldn't let them be so loud. Never mind. It wasn't unusual for the scientists to have a little commotion as they took us to their experiments. After all... we weren't "normal" specimens were we...

Tris finally opened his eyes. The sole light bulb, the sole thing that gave him light and hope in life came to vision. Next cell, was the little girl with lizard skin. Sari was it?? Anyhow, the girl next next door was the culprit to his sweet and treasured sleep.

Tris reached out and started to create a magnetic field. The scientist usually don't like us fighting with each others but who are they to be able to hear the tiny little buzzing sound created with electricity right next to someone's ear just like a ear-bud? Obviously it wasn't as clear as speaking out loud but it seems to have done its work pretty well.

"Calm down Alli. Let me help you. There is a calm pool of water. One two three. The drops of water dropping into the pool are slowing down. One Two Three..... Feeling a bit better???" Tris said as he vibrated the electricity to make sound. "You too.... This will go on as long as it does. So there is no reason for us to cry like they want us to. We'll give them a strong and hard face till the end OK Sari??" he also said in Sari's ears.

Still... what was the point? His powers as an electro master were not getting strong enough fast enough to do a escape and it was kinda getting hard to convince the scientists that shooting thunder bolts were all I could do. 'We need a escape plan... Fast..' Tris thought as he started to get up from his bed.

Then he heard a small voice from the neighboring cage. It was the one cloning girl.... Roxanne?? was it? Who usually liked to play with herself (no offence). "Rock scissor paper???? What was that again???" Tris asked in a small whispering voice. 'I gotto get my memories back...' Tris thought as he turned her way.

Corazón laid on her back in her cage until she heard a loud scream. Slowly opening her eyes, she looked to where the scream was coming from. 'What a horrible place... That poor creature, not even human anymore...' She sat up and looked around her. There was nothing beautiful about the place she was in. Everyone else around her looked just as miserable and upset. The girl down the ways had turned into a wolf, and the boy next to her was starting to play Rock, Paper, Scissors with his neighbor.

'What's gonna happen next...' She became to hum a basic scale to herself, not really paying attention to anything else. "Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do..."

Alli looked up to find words scrawled onto her cage. Allie looked around. Wow, she felt like such a little freak. Her outburst was causing a bunch of others to take notice. Alli heard a weird high pitch sound that made her ears perk up and her yip in pain from the sharp sound. It reminded her of a dog whistle. But the sound dyed down and instead a voice rang in her ear "Calm down Alli. Let me help you. There is a calm pool of water. One two three. The drops of water dropping into the pool are slowing down. One Two Three..... Feeling a bit better???"

Alli did feel a little better. She was calming down. Alli looked up to find a guy she recalled having mutation that involved electricity or something looking intently at her. Alli nodded to him as humanly as she could, because she was genuinely feeling better. It felt good to have someone actually care about how she felt, opposed to the cruelty from the scientists. Speaking of which, the scientist was coming back, with others. One even had a tranquilizer gun. But ALli wasn't going to try to make a run for it. Although her wolf form was considerably fast, and her senses were on high alert, they would catch her before she made it out the door.

The scientist carefully creaked open the cage. Alli gave a low growl, but did not move. "YOu need to come with us." the scientist urged, snapping his fingers as if she was a dog... oh wait, she was. Alli whined but still did not move. "NOW." the scientist said. One of the others raised up their tranquilizer gun. Alli slowly got up and crawled out of the cage, her tail between her legs. The scientist harshly grabbed the scruff of her neck, like a mother would to its pup, and yanked her into the air and dragged her along. Alli gave out a yip in pain and then a low growl. The scientist led her away

Roxanne

Roxanne grinned. Finally, someone other than Roxanne 2 to play with. She made each hand signal. "Well you see, rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock." Roxanne shrugged to herself. "But I don't know how paper in real life would beat a rock." She frowned as a scientist came to take the wolf girl away.

"She wasn't doing anything to them," she muttered to herself before sighing sadly. "Then again, no one of us did anything to them either."

Tris was thinking. Thinking hard as he played rock sissor and paper with Roxanne. His plan so far has been successful threw the past few mounths. He wasn't able to hide the maximam electricity he could muster but he was able to hide all the side skills he could use. Rather then mustering more electricity, he worked on using that electricity in accuracy. It was hard work especially when you ahve to hide it all the time, but the fruits were sweet. He could even unlock all the prisoners at this current moment. However, he didn't know what would be out there. So he abidded his time.

Tris could see the scientists drag away Allison and the new guy away from their cages. He glared at the scientists with all te hatrid he could muster from the bottom of his heart... at least inside his heart. It was better to look like a good little specimin to plot. 'Tonight.... We'll have to move tonight. Before any more of us die off. As soon as Allison returns and we have the newbie's coperation, we will show them what monsters they have made.' Tris thought as he quickly returned Roxanne's rock with a paper. Like he said, it wasn't because he couldn't he was still in this cage. It was because of how many people will die if he did. And the scientists will understand the heaviness of those words by tommorow.

Corazón saw that no one could hear her sing. 'Well, then again, my cage is made of soundproof glass...' She continued to sing to herself, watching as the wolf girl was being taken away. "That's so sad... What did we ever do to them?"

She stared off to look at the rest of the cages. The boy next to her was playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with his neighbor, whose name she didn't and wouldn't have been able to know. The rest of the cages were too far from her to see. "I wish I could talk to them... It's so lonely being here by myself. I can't even talk to anyone else because my cage is soundproof..."

Corazón played with the ends of her hair and started to sing a lullaby to herself, knowing that no one would be able to hear her. "You are my happiness. You are my heart. All I want is your love, and I love you so much."

Roxanne

"See? It's not so hard," Roxanne grinned at Tris. Finally, someone other than Roxanne 2,3, or 4 to play with! Now she could see how good she really was. Apparently, not very good. Tris was able to beat her about six times in a row. "Aw man!" she groaned. "I guess I've just always been letting myself win at this game. I thought I was so good." Roxanne looked up in time to see Tris glance at something behind her. He didn't seem too happy about it.

She turned and saw the new boy being taken out of his cage. The scientists were dragging him to the same place they had just taken Allison moments before. What were they going to do to him? Roxanne let her hands fall to her sides as the scientists came walking back down the rows of cages. She didn't know if rock, paper, scissors was allowed. And even if it was, they'd probably punish her for it anyways. Roxanne waited until they were out of sight before frowning darkly. There has to be something we can do to get out of here.

Ky watched the guy with the paw hand, another wolf thing? Jeez... burst into the room. It startled Ky, but he immediately regained himself. We could escape. Ky could have escaped awhile ago, but he wasn't leaving the others and was waiting for the right time. Besides, he'd probably get caught. Working fast, Ky used telekinesis to lift a pencil into the air, using it, he quickly typed his passcode out. His cage unlocked with a click. He had figured out the passcode awhile ago, had even unlocked his cage, but he thought escape was futile. Using the same pencil, he multitasked, unlocked the girl in the glass box (he had memorized her passcode awhile ago, he was curious) and picking up a couple of keys scientists had carelessly left either on top of cages, or hanging from a hook across the room (seriously, I have telekinesis! How stupid are they) there were only four keys he could find. one unlocked an empty cage, one unlocked the girl with white hair, another unlocked wolfy, and the last unlocked the guy who was playing rock, paper, scissors with that girl that could clone herself.

Hopping out of his cage, he picked an empty cage up (using telekinesis... he isn't that strong...) and slammed it against the door that guards were trying to get into. "That should hold for... a couple minutes..." he said, but he was kinda tired. He didn't use his power much because it drained him of so much energy, energy he couldn't afford to lose.

Alli's cage was open. Alli hesitated. Her wolf brain told her to stay. She was comfortable here. however, her human brain was screaming for her to get out and run away fast. So, a lli carefully pushed open her cage and hopped down, then stretched out her painful and for wings to their full extent. Adrenaline coursed through her and she flapped her wings once, already gaining enough momentum to leave the ground. However, she was clumsy, falling into the girl who could clone herself's cage, she knocked it onto its side and the cage door fell off its hinges. Alli crashed landed into the ground. She would have to work on flying. "Sorry!" she tried to say to the girl, but all that came out was a strange bark. She folded her wings in and looked at the ground to demonstrate her remorse. she hoped she hadn't hurt anyone. However, her cage door was now open, so in a way it helped.

Tris

Tris stood up in surprise as the new wolf guy ran in and started to free the others. 'Oh shunap..... Well.... thanks that it wasn't yesterday or the day before that...' Tris said as he realized his escape plan has been messed up not was still available. He quickly ran out of his cage and saw all the others starting their way out. 'Well, I gotta say... Well done newbie!!' he thought as he saw that all the other cages have been opened like his.

Originally, his plan was to make a magnetic field to move the locks in his and the others cages and run away, but it looked like the new half wolf guy had done that job quite excellently for him. "Well, so far fair well my tiny little cage!!!" Tris said as he created a magnetic field inside the cage, making it collapse on itself. He wouldn't be needing it any more.

With a little effort, he started to unlocked the rest of the cages that were locked with his powers. "Well done newbie." Tris said shortly to the new wolf guy. "What's your name anyways?? If this was normal circumstances, I would tell you mine but I lost most of my memories so I can only tell you I kinda named myself Tris..." he said as he prepared for a fight. The scientists probably wouldn't let them go so easily. He already sensed the presence of people rushing into the room next doors.

"Guys!! Can we gather up??? We kinda need a plan... " Tris said.

Roxanne

Roxanne jumped at the sound of the wolf girl's howls of pain. What in the world are they doing to her? "When in the world are we going to get out of here?" she murmured. Just then, the girl was brought back in with... Wings? She could fly? Roxanne could tell from her whimpers of pain that it must be agonizing, but she was still slightly jealous. The girl was still whining and fidgeting in her cage, and Roxanne wanted to reach out and help, but they were too far apart.

Suddenly, the scientists began shouting and screaming. Roxanne sat up and craned her neck. Wasn't the new guy just brought to the back. He burst through the door and quickly attempted to block the entrance. Was it finally time to go? The boy across the way began using his power to unlock the cages. Unfortunately, her cage wasn't one of them. "Oh, come one!" she complained when her neighbor climbed out of his. Roxanne huffed and folded her arms.

That was when wolfy slammed into her cage. "Aughh!!" she wailed as her cage flew to the side. "Oh geez." For a split second, nothing happened and Roxanne groaned. Then the door slowly fell off its hinges. "Well it's about time." She carefully crawled out, stood up, and brushed the dust off her knees. "Guys!! Can we gather up??? We kinda need a plan... " Roxanne looked over at her neighbor and gave him a little grin. "Got any brilliant ideas?"

Tris

"Well.... What's you definition of brilliant??? Cause to me, it looks like our heads will say bye bye to our neck if one thing falls out of place..." Tris said with a mischievous grin on his face as Roxanne asked him.

"Can all the espers who has enough power to knock out armed guards come out please?? Yes you too newbie!! When the guards get here, they probably would want to secure us not kill us first. I'm thinking quite a lot of tazers.. Tazers, I can handle. It's not that hard to stop the electricity in a tazer. After that the people who has the ability to knock guards down go up front and get as many of them down as you can. When they start firing firearms... That's the tricky part. I'm going to say, blocking them with a magnetic field for 2 minutes is my max. Don't get me wrong.. To be realistic, I don't think I even have that in me." Tris said with a sigh. This was not looking good but they will have to live with what they had.

"After the 2 minutes are over, I'm going to think, most of the guards will be down. Well, if there is more.... lets hope we are lucky and we have gained enough power to get rid of them. Now, all of the people who can't directly attack someone, I want you all to stay behind me and the forward group and everyone who think they can fight but not so sure, stick to a forward fighter. It will be your jobs to pull them out if they are hurt. I think we all know this but please let's not die...." Tris ended. 'This is going to be tricky...' he thought.

Corazón looked around her, still keeping her mouth shut. 'What's going on? Are we escaping?' She kept her eyes forward, but still seeing everything within her vision. She finally opened her mouth to speak, although she spoke softly. "What's happening? What are you doing? And how can I help?"

She saw a few guards coming their way. Bracing her feet onto the ground, Corazón opened her mouth and let out a sonic screech, The sounds waves burst forward from her vocal cords as they went forth and made the guards fly and smash into the wall. "I guess that works, right?" She said turning back towards the others. "If there's anything I can do, I'd be glad to do it."

Alli leaped up, guards were already coming in. Adrenaline pumping, teeth bared, and eyes flashing, Alli extended her wings as far as they could go. She felt so freaking powerful, but her wings hurt, and use hurt all over. This pain fueled her anger. She started to growl. After electro-guy gave his little speech about fighting, a lli nodded to him in a strange wolf-like way, trying to say that yes she would fight, and boy would she enjoy it.

Ky shrugged as the electricity guy took the lead. Ky wasn't much of a leader anyway, but if the situation demanded it, he would. Hey. I'm sorry for being...rude. I am scared. Nevertheless...’ Ky almost jumped into the air. Someone was touching his shoulder. What had he just heard. Looking up at him was the girl with white hair. He smiled. ‘Do you have a plan? If we are to get out, we will need one. By the way, my name is Serina.’ Ky turned towards her. "Hi Serina. My name is Kyle. But I prefer Ky. I'm not sure about a plan. Stay alive I guess. If anything happens, stay behind me. I will protect you" he said. Odd. He felt such a strong urge to protect her.

With a loud crack, the door in the back burst open, guards flooding in. The girl in the glass box who had come out emitted a strange sound, and guards started dropping. There was a dull silence, but then Ky heard pounding and screaming before it abruptly stopped. Turning to the girl with the sonic scream, he asked "Did you hear that?" But it was too late to dwell much on it because more guards came in. Ky was still weak from using telekinesis, but he must protect Serina.

A guards came running toward them, and using his ming, he picked the guy up and flung him across the room. Another guard came, and using a rolling cage, he slammed the cage into the guard. Already he was feeling weak

Alli saw the guards come in. Some of them dropped to the ground, from some ear splitting sound a girl was emitting. Alli saw more guards come in, and with ferocity and viciousness, Alli let out a howl that rang throughout the room. Then Alli leaped into the air. She worked her wings up in down, trying to keep low to the ground. He clumsiness helped her in this case, because her massive furry blob rammed into at least three guards, mowing them down. Alli half landed half skidded to a halt not he ground, and launched herself at the nearest guard. Her long canines sunk into his neck and she pushed him away, and jumped to the next guard, he huge clawed paws slamming into him and crushing ribs. However, she was stopped cold by a painful shock to her back.

Alli yelped, falling to the ground. taser? Alli twitched uncontrollably, but regained herself and got back up, snarling at the man, before sinking her teeth into his flesh.

Ky enjoyed rolling his little cage cart around, running over guards, or just picking them up and flinging them. However, Wolfy was tearing them to shreds. it was disgusting to watch... but it was getting the job done.

''Go... leave... not me...'' Sari said, what made Stefano sigh. He stroke her back, then stood up. ''Hold on a moment,'' he said as he heard some banging from a wall. He walked over to it and saw it was actually a panel. ''Guys, there is a room behind this wall and I think there are more people behind it. I don't think I can break it, so someone should check it out and open the panel'' he said and pointed to the wall while walking back to Sari. ''Sari... I know how long you have been here, how old you are, and what they have done to you, and that you are scared. But I won't leave you, even if we are safe. I will stay with as long as we are free. I will stay by you, care for you and protect you,'' Stefano said and hold his hand out to her.

Stefano watched the others as he reached out to her. ''Guys if she doesn't want to come, I'm going to stay with her. No buts or try to argue with me, or even think of forcing me out. Cause Sari has had it a lot worse and deserves someone who cares for her,'' Stefano said, looking back at Sari and keeping his hand stuck out to her. ''I promise Sari, I will stay with you even if it means that I'm going to stay here with you forever, but I will comfort and care for you like you were my own.''

Roxanne

Roxanne giggled. "That's good enough for me!" She closed her eyes for a second. Three more Roxannes jumped out of her, all smiling and laughing. All four quickly ran off, working as a tag team for the most part. They would corner a couple scientists and knock them out cold with whatever they could get their hands on, be it an empty cage or a discarded clipboard. The scientist's fist came out of nowhere. "Oof!" she fell to the ground and gingerly rubbed her jaw. The scientists circled Roxanne, trying to grab her, but they forgot about Roxannes 2,3 and 4. The three knocked the scientists to the ground with a few quick swipes at their feet, and Roxanne jumped up. "Thanks, me," she smiled before looking back at Tris. "Don't die? But that's what I was going to do next!" Roxanne dove out of the way as a scientist shot a taser at her.

She looked over at another girl in time to see her scream at the guards and fly into the wall. "Neat." Roxanne nodded from the girl to the wall that new guy had just pointed out. "My guess is that you could help with the person stuck behind that secret door over there. I doubt any of the rest of us could pull it off as easily." She turned to look at new guy again. ''Guys if she doesn't want to come, I'm going to stay with her. No buts or try to argue with me, or even think of forcing me out. Cause Sari has had it a lot worse and deserves someone who cares for her,'' All the Roxannes ran over and turned their backs towards the two, watching out for any scientists coming their way. If he was going to try and convince Sari to come, he would need someone, or s few someones, guarding them from unexpected ambushes.

Tris quickly checked out the panel as the newbie asked him to. 'Ha.. not so high for a voltage.... Well,,, that part is that, so if I make a tiny bit of push here and then pull there...... There we go. That's more like it.' he thought as the bared doors opened. He saw that all his other friends were doing pretty well on their own. Then, he saw Roxanne.... never mind. Roxanne"S" coming near them to protect the Sari and Newbie combo that was giving a little personal moment of whether leaving or not.

"And I thought you would be the one to be behind.... Where did you learn to fight like that??" Tris said as he picked up an empty cage and threw it at some of the guards who probably thought they would need their firearms and was reaching for them. "I don't mind if you wanna die so bad and decided to just ignore my "Don't die" speech but I would rather have you alive.... Isn't it obvious?? Who would dare stand next to a criminal who just attacked a citizen of the United State of America, infiltrated a top secret research lab and posses abilities that exceed and pose a threat to national security but a accomplice like you??" Tris said to Roxanne in a joking tone.

Tris controlled the empty cages nearby and created a handy barricade infront of Sari, Newbie and Roxanne. Then he picked up the guns, a charity from the guards who just went out and handed them to Roxanne.....s. "Here. Do you know how to use them?? Never mind... its simple... You aim and you shoot and their dead... hopefully." Tris said. There was something to that girl making the air joyfuller even when there were mutated teenagers killing armed guards around. Ha... that was kinda funny.

Corazón kept to herself, mostly still thinking to herself in her head. 'Since we're escaping, might as well try to help, I guess...' She saw more guards coming around the corner with tazers in their hands. She belted another screech that literally swept the guards off their feet and into the wall. 'That should do it for a while...'

She looked around and saw the wolf girl sink her fangs into one of the guards'necks. She shuddered thinking of the feeling of those fangs digging into her own neck. 'That's probably gonna hurt in the morning if he ever wakes up...' Corazón saw everyone keep fighting, while she stood in her braced stance. 'What else can I do?'

Sari looked at Stefano as he started talking. She listened, and tried to understand as much as she could, and some of it, the most important thing, she did understand. She understood that, even when they were safe in the Outside, he would not leave her side. He would stay with her, care for her, and make sure she was doing alright. But this made her unsure, and nervous. She watched some people protect Stefano and her, instead of escaping, and she felt bad for that. They would go, go away from this place if they wished, she just couldn’t. This was her home, her only safe place, and she didn’t want to leave it.

Uncurling in the back of the cage, Sari looked up at Stefano. She shook her head. ‘’You… go… free… This… home…’’ she managed to say, audible enough for him to understand. She managed a faint smile to tell him it was alright if he would go, that she would be fine. ‘’This… home…’’ she said again, placing her hand around the bar and curling it tightly around it. She curled around her hand, against the bar, her back turned to him. ‘’Go… free…’’ she said softly. Sari closed her eyes, not wanting to go.

Stefano sighed and got in the cage of Sari then he hug her gently "guys i'm sorry.......just go without me. I will just be keeping you all back cause i will feel bad for Sari. as she will get tortured, hurt, experimented on and have no one to comfort or care for her."Stefano said and rock sari gently "Even if it means i will never breath fresh air again or never see sunlight ever again. it will be all worth it to me knowing i gave this girl someone who cared and comfort her"

Stefano told them and watch them "just go! be free! live your lives!" Stefano Said to them and smiled happily "don't worry about me at all I will find a way out but only if Sari comes with me not earlier, so GO! SAFE YOURSELVES!"
