Description

Jack Harrison

Image

"I hope more than anything this war will just pass us by, but if it doesnā€™t then Iā€™ll be ready for it."

Image Name:Jackson Harrison

Nickname: He goes by Jack and Jack alone.

Age:Twenty Six.

Relationship Status: Single

Job Before War: He was a simple farm boy from Texas, his father owned a crop dusting business and that's where he worked and learned where to fly.

Job During War: He is a pilot in an army.

ImageAppearance: ) Jack is the epitome of a soldier in nearly every aspect of his appearance. His eyes match the colour of steel, a cool greyish blue, glinting like the flash of one sword hitting another, you can tell a lot by his eyes, whether he be Sad, Angry or Joyous, his eyes betray his every emotion. He has several laugh lines around his face that contrast with his hardened appearance, letting everyone around him know that he smiles and jests just like any other man. His strong jaw is his best feature, prominent and strong much like his father before him. The blonde hair he shares with his mother, albeit his is quite a few shades darker, it is always kept in place, cut by the best in the castle in order to give him a look of cleanliness and order.

At a staggering 6'3, he manages to tower over many men and many family members. He typically uses his height as means to tease his younger siblings whenever he gets the chance. His body is made up of toned muscle, developed from years of battle training and horse ridding, giving him also extremely strong calves. Years of swordplay has left him with a plethora of scars, cuts and bruises. As a fighter and swordsman, each one has a story and gives him a sense of pride, his rough callous hands are another indicator of his love of swordplay and horse riding.

Personality:(A good paragraph, include likes and dislikes) Jack has always had an aggressive fighting aura about him that beckons people to challenge him, and there is nothing Jack loves more than a challenge. He constantly tests himself, both physically and mentally with anyone willing to banter or train with him. At times he can be seen as aloof, unaware of his surroundings and the coming and goings of those around him, but rest assured that he is very aware of what happens in his presence. His carefree attitude is mostly a facade for his enemies. If they think him a fool, then they'll treat him as a fool. Only his best friend is aware of this, and he plans to keep it that way.

A smile is always dancing across his handsome face, a glint of white teeth flashing at any individual who passes him. It's his humorous attitude that keeps him sane, other than his family. He likes to surround himself with men and women who make him laugh, smile, and forget the feelings of dread that at times threaten to overwhelm him. However, though he might have a few qualities of a knight, the golden haired smiling soldier does have a dark side to him. He is highly possessive of those around him, including the women that consort with him. He hates losing and while it's rare for him to fly into a rage, when it does happen it's quite a fearsome thing to behold. You could consider him a bit of a bully, he is often teasing smaller men on the training field, he calls is ā€˜friendly banterā€™ others call it ā€˜bullying.ā€™ He doesnā€™t take his duties as a pilot all to seriously or his oaths, then again he never takes anything too seriously.

Having said that, he is a loyal and extremely able pilot, he doesnā€™t hesitate when in the air, he does what needs to be done and will be loyal to his country till the end.

Fears:
-Dying in a war he doesnt quite understand
-Not being able to see his mother again
-Loosing his best friend.

Aspirations:
-Owning his own business
-Finding a beautiful girl to settle down with.

Image Brief History:

Relationships:
Mike: Being the small farm boy from Texas, Jack sure didnt epect to befriend a High Flyer from Long Island, he often said that people who were born into money were all asses but Mike proved to be the objection to that theory. Sure he could be an ass but he was also a great friend and Jack feels as if he has known the man forever.
[/b]Caroline:[/b] Jack sees Caroline as a little sister he has too protect. She's a great gal and since they met a year ago, she has wriggled her way into his heart, in a strictly platonic way of course.

Caroline Sullivan

2nd February 1941

With the sun setting over the Hawaiian island of Oahu a sense of happiness filled the senses of a young, blonde nurse lieutenant named Caroline Sullivan. Along with her fellow nurses, she had arrived in Hawaii full of excitement at the prospect of spending the foreseeable future in paradise and so far Hawaii had yet to disappoint. The weather was divine, even for early February it had yet to drop below twenty degrees; the sun shone brightly all day and when night did dawn, the sun said goodbye in the most beautiful way, painting the sky an array of warm colours, it truly was paradise. Of course they had only been here less than a week, but Caroline was a woman known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, in more ways than one but she would argue that was part of her charm.

Clad in a pink floral, silk kimono with her hair in rollers, Caroline was thankful that there were no men around the nurseā€™s houses, especially when she had her rollers in. From her position, leaning against the back door of the house she shared with Rosalie and a few other girls, Caroline thought she had the greatest view in the world. The nurses houses were located on the mouth of the Harbour in Honolulu, Pearl Harbor to be exact and at this time in the evening the sun would begin to set behind the mountains over the side of the harbor, filling the sky with the most magnificent colours. Smiling at herself, Caroline closed her eyes and tilted her head towards the sun, sighing happily as the days final rays warmed her skin. ā€œHi Careā€ a tired voice shook her from thought.

Turning around, Caroline saw Alice, a fellow nurse sitting down at their kitchen table, dressed in her uniform ā€œHow was your day at work?ā€ she asked sitting down across from her.

Alice groaned, removing the clips from holding her cap in place ā€œIf I see one more sun burnt marine I think Iā€™m going to scream.ā€ Caroline laughed, understanding where the girl was coming from. When she became a nurse Caroline had thought she would be doing more exciting things, such as helping with operations, but so far her routine consisted of administrating shots and helping eager marines with their overly sunburnt rumps. ā€œAre you and Rosalie going out tonight?ā€

Caroline beamed ā€œYes, weā€™re meeting my friends Jack and Mikeā€ she gushed rather excitedly.

Smirking, Alice raised one of her arched eyebrows ā€œIs this the Mike youā€™re always writing too?ā€ Blushing, Caroline winked at her friend, rising from the wooden chair and hurried out of the kitchen ā€œJust because you didnā€™t say anything doesnā€™t mean that I donā€™t know that it was a big fat yes!ā€ Alice called after her, causing the blonde to laugh loudly.

Upon reaching her room, the nurse closed the door behind her and sat down at her rather small dressing table, gazing into the mirror her thoughts drifted towards a certain Michel Montrelle and she found herself smiling, which wasnā€™t uncommon when she thought about her devishly handsome friend. She had met Michel and Jack Harrison a little over a year ago, when she was training to be a nurse and she had to administrate their yellow fever shots, the three had hit it off immediately and became inseparable in the months before they shipped off to Hawaii. It had been three months since she last saw them and tonight they would be reunited.

Since she had applied her makeup earlier, Caroline simply had to do her hair; pulling out the rollers she ran her brush through the bouncing curls, turning them into elegant waves, brushing the left side back behind her ear. Once finished she topped up her red lipstick, sprayed a little perfume and shred her robe, drooping it over her bed and stepped into her dress for the evening. Slipping her shoes over her nude coloured stocking clad feet, grabbing her purse she took a final look in the mirror and gave a satisfied nod. Leaving her room she walked down the stairs and looked into the kitchen and living area to see if Rosalie had come down yet ā€œRosie! Get a move on will ya toots!ā€ Caroline yelled up the stairs eager to leave the house and meet the boys.

Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison had always been a simple guy; nothing made him happier than spending his time back on the farm in Texas, working during the day, helping his daddy dust the crops and then coming back into the house, greeted by a delicious homemade meal to satisfy his rumbling stomach. He was definitely a simple farm boy from Texas, although rather content with his life he also felt left behind; many of his friends had left their town either to go to college or join the army or navy, whilst he was left behind and that made him feel rather unsettled for the first time in his life. Always one up for a new adventure and a challenge he decided he was going to become an army pilot, his family were supportive yet a little apprehensive mainly due to the dangers but overall they were happy for him. He signed up the very next day and a week later he was sent to a training camp in Florida where he earned his wings. After that he moved to Floyd Bennett Field in New York, at first Jack hated the city, he was use to a small close knit community and the City was anything but that and for the first time since he enlisted Jack wanted no more than to return home. His saviour came in the form of Michel Montrelle, not that he would tell him that, he couldnā€™t bear to add to the guyā€™s ego. When the pair first met, Jack had expected to hate the playboy millionaire; he resented men who didnā€™t know the meaning of hard work yet believed themselves above others. Jack soon discovered however, that Mike was far from his first impression; sure he was cocky borderline arrogant, suave and occasionally an ass but he was also a great friend, possibly the best friend Jack had ever had.

Hawaii was a destination Jack never thought he would go to; when the rumours first started circulating that the navy wanted army bombers and fighters in Honolulu Jack never thought for a minute that they would be sent, for starters with the prospect of war looking like the upmost possibility, he thought they would be staying on the East Coast, closer to Europe and Hawaii, well Hawaii was about as far from fighting as you could get. Not that he was complaining, he was seeing more than the world than he ever thought possible and from the moment they stepped of the plane and the sun hit his face his smile had never faltered.

It was paradise in every sense, the women were beautiful as were the beaches and the relaxed lifestyle was a much welcomed relief from their hectic training days back in New York. Three months had passed since they left New York and tonight he and Mike would welcome to Oahu a good friend they left behind in the City Caroline Sullivan. Although she had been there for a week now, their schedules had clashed, but tonight they would be reunited and by the look on Mikeā€™s face he couldnā€™t wait, Jack had always thought that there was a little more than friendship between them but they needed to recognise it themselves.

Luckily for Jack, Caroline had said in her letter that she was bringing a friend tonight, so he wouldnā€™t feel like a third wheel, usually he wasnā€™t one for blind dates but he trusted Careā€™s judgment. Glancing in the mirror in the army barracks washroom, he slicked back his hair and straightened his tie on his khaki coloured uniform. With a nod of approval, Jack left the wash room and walked back into the sleeping area ā€œyou ready man?ā€ he asked Mike.

.....2nd February 1941.....

Rosalie A.K.A Rosie

Hawaii....there wasn't enough words to describe how beautiful and enchanting the place was. From lush Palm trees to white sandy beaches and crystal blue waves it sure felt like a heavenly paradise where young lovers could frolic....and make love endlessly. All year round, weather conditions were prefect and fair, always a hint of exotic aromas flowing through the cool breeze. When sunset finally came, it cast a reddish pink golden glow on the whole island, lulling the most restless person to dreamily sleep.... But why did they choose the place as a battle ground for the war?! There was always a haunting nagging feeling that threatened in the shadows that would disturb the paradise and inhabitants at any given moment... But when was it going to rear its ugly head?....

Only being there for a couple of weeks, not knowing anyone but her father and her best friend on base, the young platinum blonde woman nurse in training, who went by Rosalie Carol Beaumont, sat staring dazedly in front of her small vanity set mirror, a hint of worry in the back of her mind. She was still in training at that point in time, being thoroughly helped by none other then her best friend, Caroline Sullivan, who was a nurse lieutenant. The girls met in class and quickly became friends all the while Caroline teaching her the ends and outs of treating wounds and administering shots. The reason why, though, that Rosalie joined the Red Cross was that she wanted to be near her father silently watching over him, doing it for her mother and herself.

She did not want to lose her "old man" to the war, trying her best to stay by his side. She would right letters back to her mother about how her and her father were doing in the war effort, her mother in return writing back with a mixture of joy and pain. At least Rosalie could put some of her mother's worriation to rest, telling her mother that her father was still alive and well. But it didn't quell her own worries... The war seemed to slowly move closer and closer to the Pacific and there wasn't anything to do about it. Soon her father would be engulfed into the war putting his own life at risk for his own country, dutifully. Rosalie shook her head hard at this, highly frustrated and trying to restrain her own tears that wanted to fall.

Joining the Red was a choice that she never would regret...well accept for the grueling parts that she had to do as a nurse. Treating sick soldiers and tending to their highly hideous scars and wounds that bleed all over the place were enough to put most sick to their stomachs... Rosalie shuddered a little at that, slightly feeling sick to her stomach even though she wasn't hands on the job yet, she having gagging episodes at times. Caroline told her that she would get used to it with time but Rosalie couldn't bring herself to get used to such horrific and gross scenes that she was soon to be partaking in. If it met that she would still be close to her father and have him by her side then she would do it with much vigor and effort on her part, no matter what the damn costs!

Rosalie was snapped out of her emotional reverie by the sounds of two people talking down below her, "Hi Care".

"How was your day at work?", a familiar voice that Rosalie knew all too well, Caroline responding back.

"If I see one more sun burnt marine I think Iā€™m going to scream.", a female Rosalie thought was a nurse too but Rosalie tuned them out quickly when the nurse talked about her day at work, the aching dull woozy feeling coming back in her stomach. Rosalie was in no way hell going to hear another gross story about tending to wounds or scars so she got up from her chair, walking over to the door and quickly closed it, putting her back against. She sighed to herself, "What have I gotten my ass into?", she questioned herself, slightly annoyed, emotions brimming inside her at speeds of a mile a second.

Rosalie walked up to her mirror and took a good look at herself: she was wearing a white silk thigh-length robe, that she specially packed in her suitcase, and her platinum hair was pinned back into a large crystal bobby pin. Her face was lightly done up, she not going heavy on makeup like she did when she was off duty. Rosalie's outfit casually sat on her single white bed, waiting for her to put it on. Like her makeup, Rosalie kept her night-on-town outfit simple: a white silk short sleeve blouse, silver bow-tie, white sailor pressed slacks, white low heeled open toed shoes, and a sliver clutch purse. Rosalie was a tomboy at heart and really never cared for dresses unless it was a special occasion which came rare in her mind.

She leaned over to her vanity and picked up her silver paddle brush, beginning to brush her hair slowly. Rosalie was not particular happy that Caroline and herself weren't going to be alone that evening being accompanied by two air-force gentlemen. Rosalie just wanted Caroline to accompany her that evening, they having a good time without being interrupted by men, that Rosalie thought, who wanted to ogle all over them. Though Rosalie liked having men in good company, she flirting like hell with most, she simply didn't have the spirit or the mood anymore, trying to avoid them all at all costs. Secretly, in the right settings and chances, Rosalie got nervous around the right gent who would peek her interest so to combat the situation she would give the gent a cold frigid shoulder that he wouldn't forget.

"Rosie! Get a move on will ya toots!", Caroline voice called downstairs, signaling that she was ready to go. It wasn't surprising that Rosalie could here Caroline with the door closed because the door was made out of thin wooden material. In fact it wasn't surprising that the whole damn house was made out of thin material, Rosalie one time hearing one of her roommates in the other room with a solider she brought up one night having a heated passionate making love session... She didn't get any sleep that night for sure! Rosalie sighed and quickly shimmed into her evening ensemble, touching her makeup for good measure.

After that, grabbing her silver clutch and gaining most of her composure, Rosalie walked out of her room, leisurely walking down the steps, "Alright, alright, Care, here I come. Don't get ya panties in a bunch.", she replied finally, a small smile on her deep pink coral painted full lips. She stopped at the last step, "I can't believe men are accompanying us tonight again, why can't it just be us girls having the time of our lives like usual?", she moaned folding her arms. Then a thought came to her head, "Your seeing someone special tonight and need me to be there in support?", she asked teasingly, she snickering under her breath lightly.

Caroline was the type to have the men all over her so it wasn't unusual that she got asked out on a date all the time. Rosalie didn't like the part of playing third wheel but she grinned and bared it, she wanting to see her friend happy. Sometimes a date would bring along another buddy that would try his hardest to push up on Rosalie but she would kick the guy in the nuts if he tried a fast one on her. Oh the drama of it all.... Rosalie put a small hand on her slender hip, "Am I a third wheel tonight or am I paired?...I rather be third wheel then have another sleaze ball grope me while you have the time of your life", she gritting her teeth at the last few words dramatically.

Michelangelo A.K.A Mike

Whistling to himself and giving his hair the longest brush strokes, the young solider, named Michelangelo Marcello Montrelle (what a fucking long name!), looked at himself in the mirror, smirking to himself. The reason of the smirk was that Jack Harrison, his best bud, and him were meeting up with a not-so-old friend from back in NYC. But the friend in question wasn't just some best bud that they hadn't seen in a while it was a beautiful golden blonde lady, by the name Caroline Sullivan, that would accompany them along with a friend of hers. He was ecstatic! Mike hadn't seen her in a long time knowing he had a busy schedule in the air-force with being head pilot in a much crucial and special bombing squad that was much needed.

Even though, at the time, fresh out of training, Jack and him had quite a few missions on their hands already, being assigned to some dangerous tasks that had them traveling all over Europe by teaming jet-fighter squads. First task, was to bring needed machine guns and other weapon paraphernalia to Allies in England. Jolly good old England, tortuously bombed nightly by Nazis, needed the weapons badly because some of their American, Canadian and English infantries were running out of it. Next task, they were ordered to fly over Switzerland and bomb Nazi ammunition supplies there that helped fuel the enemy in war. It was very dangerous and they were quickly caught in air warfare, Axis powers shooting on their asses constantly.

Mike was prepared and pumped to have his first contact with live air warfare so he lead the men all the way, ordering them when to shoot fire on any enemy aircraft that came up too close. They shot down most Nazi planes under his commands and were highly successful in getting out of enemy territory without any Allied air-crafts being destroyed in the process. He instantly got a medal for his bravery and skilled command, he bumped up to captain, leading a team of jet fighters in dangerous areas around enemy territories. He was very pleased at this and continued to make courageous efforts on his part trying to keep his men from being shot down.

Both Jack and Mike had their hands full and were called to duty constantly. Though Mike was tired from all of the missions and action going on over the years he served so far in the war, he kept his morale and confidence up, leading his fighter squad through dangerous tasks with 90 something percent of the time success. It was damn good to accomplish so much within so little years and he was feeling damn good about that fact. Jack had made quite success in the air-force as well. He was a fine pilot who knew how to duck and dodge the enemy with high finesse. He got a medal as well for his skill in handling a plane like it was his own baby, bobbing and weaving out of enemy bullets being shot at his plane.

The both of them were highly successful in the military and they were quite famous around, their names also common with soldiers. Jack was more humble of the two and never liked the attention on him like Mike loved and he seemed content with helping the war effort as best as he could, contributing in a quieter manner. Mike always would tell Jack, "You should bask in the ambiance! They fucking love you!", he wanting him to be a little happier about his status. The both of them and the squad were quickly stationed in Hawaii were they currently reside.

Mike was a little disappointed that he was moved away from all the action that was happening over in Europe but he dutifully did what he was told making the best of keeping the bases in Hawaii protected if should the Pacific become even more under threat from Japan. "Any day now....they'll becoming....", Mike would mentally say, waiting willingly for the day Japan would strike Hawaii. But as he waited he was surprised and happy to know that his secret love interest, Caroline- nurse lieutenant, was going to be stationed near him making him change his mind about Hawaii. Now he wanted to stay stationed for as long as possible just to remain close to her. Oh how he waited for that type of day to come....

Caroline would write love letters to him, suggesting and hinting to make a move on her, wanting to see where they stood and when they could take it to the next level. Was she flirting and teasing him? He really didn't know but he was soon going to find out! He did write her back though, laying the same heavy heat on her like she did but he threw in enough sensuality and eroticness that kept her guessing with what was on his mind. He even secretly threw in the occasional, "I want you....I need you, Caroline.", just to imagine how she would react when she read them.

All of this was making him anticipate their meeting more. He really wanted to start something with her, perhaps a relationship that could blossom with age. While thoughts....somewhat also suggestive....swam in his head making him somewhat dazed, Jack came back into the sleeping area where Mike was already waiting for him, "You ready man?", he asked nonchalantly. Mike turned to him with a wide grin on his face, "You know it.... She is accompanied, like I said before, so you will be highly entertained tonight as well....", he fixing his tie one last time before he stepped away from the mirror.

Mike looked Jack up and down, "I think you missed a spot?", he teasingly played with him, knowing Jack didn't like a hair out of place on his entire person. Mike laughed at that, "I think we should get going! Don't want to keep the ladies waiting too long.", Mike said starting to walk with Jack out of the barracks and into the night Hawaiian tropical air. The night was young and it was full of mysteries and surprises waiting and wanting to reveal and....fulfill itself.

Rosalie A.K.A Rosie

Rosalie watched Caroline argue with her appearance, she trying to fix herself in the way she thought was best. Caroline finished touching her lipstick, turning her attention to Rosalie rolling her eyes. Rosalie tilted her head a little waiting for a reply but was soon met with Caroline throwing her arms in the air and sucking her teeth dramatically causing Rosalie to laugh loudly, knowing she could press her friend to tell her anything, Caroline always giving in, "Fine you caught me! Yes he is special to meā€¦and you know Iā€™m not one too hold any real special attachments to boys but Mikeā€¦well, heā€™s different".

Rosalie knew it! Mike was someone that was special to her! But Rosalie started to take the hint that he was not someone ordinarily special, he seeming more special to Caroline then she was really letting on. Rosalie was going to soon find out, really curious to see how it would all play out that evening. Caroline started to laugh as well, amused at Rosalie's other comment about their night on the town, "Yes you are paired and no he isnā€™t a sleaze ball.", she affirmed Rosalie, mimicking Rosalie's "hands-on-hip pose". Rosalie couldn't help but smile feeling really silly for striking that pose.

Caroline reached out for Rosalie's hand, putting it in her own, "Jack is a great guy and one of my good friends, I think youā€™ll get on swimminglyā€¦like you heā€™s a little shy", she dragging her out the door. Rosalie shook her head and obligingly followed her beautiful friend, "Oh Caroline...", she mumbled under her breath, a slight pout on her face, she acting like a little kid still slightly annoyed that they were having company. The evening was sure going to be interesting for Rosalie and she really wanted to know more about Jack even if it meant asking Caroline more about him then asking Jack himself. Rosalie was weird like that....

The short walk to the Tiki felt pleasantly long for Rosalie, she loving the Hawaiian scenery in all it's brilliance at night. The palm trees swayed easily in the cool midnight breeze cooling off the island from the previously heated day. The ocean lulled slowly back in forth on the shore making it feel even cooler then what it was. Rosalie was in need of cooling off, the day being too hot for her to bare. The temperature rose up a little over a 100 degrees making most of the island feel like a sauna. It didn't help that she had class early on that day, she being cooped up in a hot box of a classroom for a couple of hours.

Her older female nurse attendant teacher monotonously and repetitively went over school work with the class causing half the class to doze off, bored out of their fucking minds. Rosalie mentally rolled her eyes at that, silently walking next to Caroline as they neared the Tiki. When they finally made, Rosalie instantly saw two gentlemen standing in front of the entrance, watching them from afar. Rosalie could see Caroline's eyes brighten up like it was Christmas for her all over again, "Yup... It must be them...", Rosalie thought folding her arms in the process.

When they came closer to the gentlemen, Rosalie could see that all three were happy to see each, all three immediately embracing each other, the men also shaking Rosalie's hand briefly in greeting. Caroline and Mike seem to embrace each other the longest, they seemingly establishing a secret growing bond between one another. Rosalie smiled, secretly wishing she could have that same moment. She then turned to see Jack who happily observed the scene as well, a small smile gracing his face. He damn sure looked good to Rosalie, she blushing slightly when no one was looking, "Damn....he looks so scrumptious....", a heated and slightly flushed Rosalie thought.

So far, Jack didn't look like a creeper and he seem to play the gentleman part really well. Rosalie kept stealing quick glances at him when he wasn't paying attention to her, "This might be fun after all", she thought again as they all finally walked inside, she closely walking in behind Caroline. Rosalie wasn't much for making her appearance known in places and rather another person walk in front instead of her, in that case she letting all three walk ahead of her. Rosalie continued to secretly take in Jack's person, mentally noting everything about him, "I wish he glanced my way....", she longingly thought.

Michelangelo A.K.A Mike

Mike could hear Jack walk behind him causing him to turn to him fully. Mike couldn't help but snicker when Jack rolled his eyes about Mike letting him know how it was going to go down that night. Jack sure was a reserved one and he wasn't much for flirting....or so Mike thought, "Acting frigid, I see", he teasingly joked. Jack then frowned when he didn't like when Mike joked about him having something out of place on his uniform, "Such an ass", he playfully clipping Mike's chin as the both of them walked out of the barracks and into the Hawaiian beautiful and highly mysterious night.

It was enchanting that night and became even more enchanting for Mike knowing he was going to see Caroline. Caroline.... He remembered when they first met, she acting cold and indifferent to him. He thought there was no way in hell that he was going to get her to like him so they stickily kept their intentions on a friendly basis...or so how it first played out. He saw something in her that he never saw an any other female in his entire life, he secretly wanting to marry her on the spot. But Mike had to remember that their friendship, or so at the time, was only going to stay on that level so he backed off of Caroline, trying his hardest not to think of her as something more.

As their friendship progressed though, they would steal quick....lusty glances at each other, Mike remembering one time when they were on the dance floor, they both dancing with their respective partners. He wasn't into his partner and really didn't remember how she looked like but oh how he remembered looking at Caroline with the longest longing gaze that would shake most souls to the core. Even though he had a lot of girlfriends on his arm, Caroline held a special place in his heart that he stored safely to him. He felt a little guilty when Caroline would get slightly upset when he had someone new on his arm, she having the nastiest of attitudes around his women. He couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head knowing Caroline too much of her fiery temperament.... They really did match each other a lot, he being the same way...

He also had to hold himself and his anger back when Caroline had her men around her. Mike was jealous too and really didn't like how those knuckleheads treated Caroline, only wanting sex from her. One time, he almost knocked out a fucker for trying to pressure Caroline to get in his bed, she breaking up the oncoming fight that was about to ensue between him and the dude... So many crazy times they had with one another but so little time to count them all one by one... As they continued to walk, Mike tuning out Jack and his surroundings, his thoughts turned to the most memorable event they had together.

Waving him off to war.... She cried profusely, hugging her solider tightly, never wanting to let him go as they stood on the platform. Mike then knew that day when she finally showed that she cared about him deeply. He never seen her cry so much that he had to hold himself together, tears wanting to slip from his soft ocean blue eyes. "Write me please.... Don't forget to write me...", she whispered in his ear, he nodding yes to her humble request, he mentally making sure he was going to write her and never miss a day without checking for her letters. The train whistled signaling that it was time to go, Mike painfully slipping away from her embrace, not wanting to let her go.

He lifted himself on the train and quickly went to a window to stick his head out so she could see him one last time, "Your always in my heart Caroline!", he yelled to her, his last words to her falling to the sound of the train moving faster and faster down the tracks. Caroline rushed down the platform like a mad woman, her arms flaying about her slender lovely body, "Mike!!!!!", she yelled as the train continued to move farther and farther away. Mike couldn't watch to see the way she responded to him so he stuck his head back inside, slumping his wearied body in his seat, a tear running down his freshly shaven cheek.

The image, which kept his heart reeling and clinching, of her screaming his name maddeningly stayed seared in his mind...forever...."So are you going to make your move on Care tonight or what?", Jack said finally, snapping Mike from his painful reverie of Caroline's pained and crying face. Mike turned to him, his eyes somewhat wide with shock, he not knowing what to say to Jack. He quickly shook his head slightly, snapping himself from looking like that, not wanting to creep Jack out, "Maybe but I want to see where we stand with each other first before I make any strategic moves on her....", he tried to chirp up, his voice still somewhat hollow.

"Cos I figure she may get bored and move onā€¦to someone like me maybe", Jack jokingly added, unknowingly trying to cheer his friend up. Jack knew how Mike was, he knowing the right words to say at the right time just to make him happy. "Hey, hey, hey! Get your own, slugger. She's mine.", he playfully punched Jack in the arm, he quickly returning to his normal self. They finally made it to the Tiki Lodge, waiting patiently for the ladies to get there but they weren't waiting too long for the women came right on time.

When he took a good look at Caroline's sweet beautiful face, all he wanted to do was run to her and pick her up, spinning her around in his arms but he refrained himself from doing that, keeping his cool. The ladies came up to them finally, a happy Caroline with a quiet Rosalie. The three friends quickly hugged each other while the two men shook Rosalie's hand in greeting. Mike hugged Caroline for the longest, wanting to feel, wanting to hear, wanting to smell...wanting to taste all of her, overjoyed to see her again, "I'm still alive, you know.", he joked to Caroline as they all made their way inside the Tiki.

Rosalie A.K.A Rosie

After the highly emotional display that happened between the four friends, Caroline and Mike being the most emotional, they all started to head inside. Rosalie didn't know what Caroline and Mike were whispering in each others ears as they lowly said sentiments to the other, giggling along the way. Rosalie secretly noticed Caroline intertwining her fingers in Mike's wanting to feel him closer... If she continued that, she might swallow him whole, Rosalie mentally joked as her mind wasn't too entirely on them anyway. "Get a room already!", she loudly thought, shaking her head with amusement.

But her focus was on someone who was right next to her, Jack, he making her feel very uncomfortable...in a good way. He seemed to secretly watch her, taking in all of her person. Rosalie couldn't help but feel very flushed and jittery when he softly shook her hand, "Uh-Hi....Itā€™s nice to meet you.", he shyly and slowly said. That was strange.... Rosalie was never nervous around men and she would always remain calm and confident in their presence. Jack though, he was an entirely different ballgame, he making Rosalie break out in a cold sweat, she feeling like a little school girl who was nervous around her first crush. "Rosalie! Get yourself together!", she mentally scolded herself.

Jack caught her off guard when he gently snaked his arm in hers causing Rosalie to shiver slightly as they continued inside. He already sure was gentle with her, he treating her like a delicate china-doll. Most men would handle her roughly, not that she mind at the time, caring little about how she felt. Still, having men treat her like that on a daily basis was starting to irk and annoy Rosalie. She wanted someone who would spare her feelings and make her feel like she was something worth working for. All Rosalie really wanted was to feel like she was needed, wanting the man to give himself totally and completely to her. Is that really hard to ask for, damn it!?!? Rosalie thought not!

Finally, they all took a seat in the only booth available, Caroline next to Mike and Rosalie next to Jack. Rosalie wished she didn't sat next to Jack, she really starting to feel nervous. She didn't want to creep Jack out by the way she acted around him, preferring to sit at the end of the table but it was set, Caroline and Mike wanted to sit closer to one another. Again they all started to catch up on old times, Rosalie feeling a little left out knowing she hadn't been there when they all had a good time with one another. She just remained quiet silently piercing her light lavender eyes at Jack.

From head to toe, Rosalie took Jack all in... The way he stood shy around her, the way he side-glanced her appearance with a longing stare, the way he gently handled her.... Already it was starting to be too much for her and she hadn't properly talked to the man. Was she starting to fall?.... Nonsense! Rosalie wasn't the type to fall for a dude who might just walk out of her life anyway when he thought it was convenient. Rosalie wasn't going to get herself hurt again and she made damn sure of it that it wouldn't happen either! "Over my dead body!", she thought, sifting nervously in her seat next to Jack.

"Mike help me with some drink?", Caroline finally said, Mike nodding his head yes. They both got up from their respective seats, Mike guiding Caroline away gently with his arm as they made their way to the bar. Rosalie and Jack were now alone.... Oh boy.... Rosalie's heart thudded in her chest as she watched Jack try to say something, he also finding it hard to speak up. One...two...three... "So-erm-Iā€™m really glad you decided to come tonight, you saved me from being a third wheel", he finally told her with a beautiful southern drawl, he choking on some of his words. Rosalie tilted her head a little, amused by the country stud that sat next to her.

She noticed how his steel gray eyes flexed and refocus, hidden emotions storming behind them. Those eyes seem to hold a thousand mysteries that intrigued Rosalie to know more if he allowed her wanting his permission and access. His dark blond hair seemed to glow softly like a halo that hovered above his head. His skin...oh his lightly tanned skin looked enticing to touch under her small hands, wanting to feel every inch of it.... Don't get her started on his muscular form! But by god! She was in the presence of a Greek god who didn't know he was one! He was too humble, too shy to admit it, Rosalie fighting the urge to give him a big bear hug.

"Rosalie, thatā€™s a mighty pretty nameā€¦I use too know someone called Rosalie backing Texas, mind you she wasnā€™t nearly as beautiful as youā€¦ah shit-sorry Iā€™m rambling, I tend to do that when Im nervous-shit-and Iā€™m sorry for swearingā€¦my mama always told never to swear in front of a lady.", he finally broke the silence again, he flinching at his words, slightly embarrassed that he said that much to Rosalie so early on. Rosalie didn't know how to respond because she was lost in his eyes that stared into hers that seemed to search her soul.

Then Rosalie giggled softly, the tension starting to ease between the two, "Thank you, Mr. Harrison for complimenting my name! It's okay to swear because I have my "sailor" moments when least expected", she waving her hand in dismissal for him to loosen up. He seemed to sift closer to her at that causing Rosalie to feel hot and bothered in a slightly naughty way. "Damn it! Hold it Rosalie", she scolded herself again. Rosalie was fidgeting so much that she accidentally dropped her handkerchief, where she previously reached in her silver clutch for, it falling like a soft feather next to Jack's feet.

Uh oh... Rosalie turned her head slightly to Jack and patted his larger hand lightly, "Could you please help me get my hanky? It fell on the floor somewhere", she pleaded. Jack quickly complied and bent down underneath the table beginning to find it. "I hope he isn't looking up my pants....but then again....I don't mind", she thought devilishly, crossing her slender legs tightly together, hoping Jack hadn't notice. But he bumped her softly next to her right leg causing Rosalie to slightly jump, she blushing even harder.

She knew right then and there that she was going to wrap Jack around her french manicured finger, it only a matter of time before the situation came true....What a lovely predicament that they were in....

Michelangelo A.K.A Mike

The affectionate display between the two that already transpired was too much for Mike, he straining himself from wanting to take Caroline in his arms, kissing her passionately with much vigor. Caroline seemed to blossom into an even more beautiful young woman from the last time he saw her, she becoming more lovely as time matured her, her womanly features forever frozen in youth.

Mike smiled at that and brought her into another hug which caused him to grow even more weak in the knees. She smelled so heavenly and her skin felt like fine silk that hadn't been marked or blemished. Her golden hair seemed to glow like solid gold waiting to be a treasured prize to obtain. Her baby blue eyes just commanded Mike to stare in them, he losing himself in a lovely oblivion with them. If Jack continued to point out more about Caroline he might just lose it! He was too happy to see her glad that the moment materialized into reality.

Was he dreaming? Mike made a mental note to tell Jack later on to pinch him awake.... After Caroline introduced Rosalie to Mike and Jack, Mike smiling politely to her, they all made their way inside. Caroline slipped her slender soft manicured fingers into his causing Mike to slightly jump. He began to blush hard embarrassed that his body responded like that. No woman had ever made him act like a teenage boy who was nervous on his first date....but Caroline did.... Mike gently squeezed her hand as they made their way to the only booth available to them.

They all sat down and began to chat it up like it was old times going over every last thing in detail. Mike was having the time of his life already and he didn't want it to end. He moved closer to Caroline, reaching for her hand underneath the table. He gave her soft hand another gentle squeeze causing her to react to this, surprisingly shivering slightly in her seat. Mike was glad he still had that affect on her, he smirking in pure delight. Jack and Rosalie seemed hesitant to talk to each other at first but they began to loosen a little, starting to exchange words.

Mike was glad that Jack was starting to find something in Rosalie. He wanted his best bud to have love with the right woman, happiness and joy leading the way. Mike silently sighed in relief, everything seeming to become a dream come true for everyone involved. Mike wanted Caroline to react to him again so he put his arm around her shoulder bringing her head closer to his neck, wanting her to smell the faint cologne that lingered there. He wanted her to remember everything about him that night; the way he looked, the way he talked, the way he smelled when he interacted with her on a growing intimate level.

Mike was sure that it was going to be unforgettable, it searing in both their minds permanently, so he tried his best to give Caroline a good time with him. She seemed to make little moves on him as well making Mike blush harder in his seat but he kept calm, not showing too much emotion to her just yet, "Mike help me with some drink?", her smooth and languid voice spoke causing more goosebumps to raise on his skin. Mike just nodded his head yes taking her hand in his as he gently pulled her up from her seat. Caroline sweetly smiled as they began to make their way over to the bar.

The whole lodge was live and everyone was chatting loudly and happily with one another. Soft jazz tunes flitted through the air making the mood even more romantic for everyone. Mike and Caroline had to cut between people dancing on the floor so Mike knew what was best in that moment, blend with the rest of the dancers. He caught Caroline by surprise by twirling her around and bringing her into his muscular hard body, he gliding her effortlessly across the floor, Caroline moving in time with his skilled steps, they both laughing like children.

When the song finally came to an end, Mike dipped Caroline as far as he could go causing his chin to rest shyly above her bosom. Mike slowly pulled her back up, he automatically seeing Caroline blush a crimson shade of red. He chuckled softly at that and continued to hold Caroline as they made it finally to the bar. They both sat down and ordered their favorite drinks, "I think they are a good match", Caroline commented about Jack and Rosalie, she giddy from the drink she was sipping.

Mike smiled, "And I also think everything is falling rightly into place. This means everyone gets what they want in the end", he lightly placing feather-like touches on her arm that sat near his arm. He made sure to keep her melting in his presence and wanting more so he secretly continued to find ways that would make her either shiver or blush really hard. He could feel the pure white hot heat radiating between them making it a matter of time before they would gel perfectly together as one.
