Introduction

This is based on Big City Dreams - NeverShoutNever!

Greensville, Arizona. A small hick town in the middle of nowhere filled with horses and under a constant battle with the stifling heat. A place where dreams never happen, and people literally just come to get away from the hype of everything and fade away into nothingness. It was here that Imogen Delfino was born, onto a ranch owned by her parents. Right next door to her lived a young male born in the same year as her, and they became close friends immediately. Jesse Rawth* and Imogen had a great childhood together, both playing on the ranch every day, riding horses around the town to give them some exercise, racing, talking about anything that popped into their minds.

High school came and went, the two meeting new friends, but never breaking apart, and it was only a matter of time until Imogen began aspiring for something else than this little town in Arizona. Singing had always been a passion of the young girl and when she had the chance to leave Greensville, move to New York to start a singing career, she instantly took it. Of course, she was going to miss her family, and Jesse of course, but this was maybe her one and only chance. So she packed her bags, petted each and everyone one of the many horses on the ranch, kissed her family and friends goodbye, and headed away at the age of seventeen.

New York made the girl famous, having been singing quietly to herself as she walked down the busy street to an audition for a job singing at a nightclub when she was overheard by a talent agent. He soon signed her up to his record label, and her first song went global in a matter of weeks. With her new found fame, she met and fell in love with Ashton Hopkins*, the lead singer and guitarist of another famous band.

Something though makes her miss that small town in Arizona, and the now twenty one year old woman decides to take her new boyfriend home, unknowing that he is thinking of proposing to her. But, as soon as she arrives there, a surprise to her family - he's there. Jesse, working on the ranch when she arrives. He was emplyed there by her parents, needing all the help that they could get around the old ranch, and Jesse was happy to help them. Things have changed; his looks for one - he's incredibly handsome now, and her jaw almost drops to the floor when she first sees him for the first time. Jesse's never forgotten about Imogen - even though he's seen her in the paper with Ashton and heard about her new glamorous life style in New York. Jesse is still mad for Imogen, and that will never change.
Slowly, they become close again through the time that Immy and Ashton stay there, whilst Ash's eyes stray to Jesse's little sister Needless to say, when it comes to the time that Ashton proposes to Imogen, she's well under the influence of her best friend.

So, who to choose?
Superstar, rich and handsome Ashton?
Or Caring and heartwarming Jesse?

There's no place like home...

Home. Arizona; The Grand Canyon State. Blistering heat, dehydrated days, and nights of no sleep. The red hot scenery of desolate land flew past the taxi as it drove into the small town of Greensville. All of the windows in the car were opened down as far as they would go, and as Imogen Delfino sat there in the car, her hands on her bare legs, she stared out of the window, her hair whipping around her already slightly sticky face. She hadn't seen this environment in over four years, the oldest cactus tree signifying their gradual movements towards the town, away from the bustling airport in Phoenix, and into a lesser known part of the state; a place with barely any connection to the rest of the country, except one road, leading in, and out of the town. The small town, it's main features being the stretch of stores along side the main road, which surprisingly went on for quite a while, and then a few little ones and a café or two hidden around the corner, and also the Delfino Ranch, was the place where she had been born, was raised, and then left, which now seemed like a life time ago. Her eyes flicked by, watching the trees and shrubbery grow slightly thicker as they came nearer to the entrance of Greensville.

Traveling in a private jet was always a good way to travel, since there was no-one to cough annoyingly through the whole trip, disturbing you, and the seats much more comfortable, and there was more leg room. Upon arriving in Arizona after the four hour flight from New York, both Imogen and Ashton were welcomed by a parade of paparazzi, which obviously, both stars had expected, and spoken about on the plane. With one hand wheeling her suitcase through the airport terminal, and the other clutching Ash's, Imogen quickly maneuvered her way out of the mass of press that were waiting there for them to arrive, and soon they were in a pre-booked taxi, making the rest of the journey to the small town. Surprisingly, only some of the reporters that were waiting at the large airport tried to follow them, but after the first fourty-five minutes, they had given up, and turned back to Phoenix. The drive from the large city to Greensville was another painfully long two hours, and by the time that the sign for the town hit her eyes, Imogen let out a small sigh of relief.

Long journeys had never been anything that the girl enjoyed, much because he was a very active and fidgety person, who hated to sit in the same place for too long. Getting her hair and make-up done for concerts was always a nightmare, and something usually ended up going wrong, because she had to move. Even though she couldn't stand up and properly move around like she wanted to, Immy had been shifting herslef in the taxi, moving her hands from the window, to rest in her lap, to clasp Ashton's for a while, before now going back to resting in her lap. She had also shifted her clothes around a little, taking off her small jacket, and then changing her high heeled shoes that she had been wearing, to something more suitable for a ranch. She had also tied her hair up into a high ponytail now, keeping the long blonde locks off of her neck, which felt much cooler now that the cool air coming from the wide open window was able to reach it.

Suddenly, the car lurched to the side, and the young woman's breath caught in her chest for a moment, before she realized what had happened. The driver had almost passed the small dirt track, leading up to the Delfino Ranch, and he had been quick to take a left, just being able to drive up the road without having to turn around once more. When her heart was back at a steady level, Imogen turned to give Ashton a small smile, one filled with a little bit of anxiousness at the thought of returning home, and introducing her boyfriend to her parents, and it was also showing some happiness, at the thought of just the two of them, getting away from the hustle and bustle of their normal lives in City of Dreams. They were together, and they were going to be somewhere that the press couldn't find them, and it would be... peaceful. That was something that Immy was hoping to get out of this stay with her parents. She wasn't sure how long they were going to stay yet, so she had left her schedule pretty much open with her manager, and she was sure that Ash had done the same. There would be no-one to harass them here, no-one to get involved in their personal lives, except her family of course, and they would just get a little while of peace and tranquility. At least that was what Imogen hoped. She hadn't even dreamed of the thought that her parent had hired a certain someone to work on the farm, and how much of an impact he would cause in her life when they met up again after four years apart.

But then, a deep voice pierced her ears, breaking her out of the strange sort of day dream that she seemed to be in.

"Miss Delfino, Mr Hopkins; we're here. I'll just get yours bags out of the trunk" The driver said, turning around with a large smile, obviously happy with the fact that he had two rich superstars in his car, and was probably going to get some sort of tip for driving so far out, even though the fare was already paid, before climbing out of the car. Immy turned to give Ashton one last grin before unbuckling her seatbelt, and climbing out of the car. She made her way around to the back and took her suitcase from the taxi driver, who had just pulled them both out, and she gave him a $50 note that she had taken out of her purse. "Thanks again for taking us this far. We appreciate it." She smiled, before the driver just gave them both one nod and a smile each, took the money and was then zooming off, back to proper civilization.

With her suitcase in hand, Imogen turned to her love with a large smile, and then looked back at her home. They were pretty much standing in the middle of the ranch, with the horse paddocks all around them, the horses all out in the heat, grazing on the hay that had been put out for them, or lapping up the water that was also left out. The large farmhouse was in front of them, looking much more majestic than it actually was, because of the fact that it was surrounded by barns and stables. Suddenly, a large dog bounded over to them, seemingly having come from nowhere, yapping at the sight of his long lost friend. "Hey, Maxie!" Imogen smiled happily, standing her large suitcase up, and then bending down so that she could stretch the collie behind his ears. She was surprised that Max stiled remembered, her, as he had been just a puppy when she had left to move to New York. Still with that large, content smile on her face, the blonde stood back up again, taking her suitcase in her hand, and then moving towards Ash again.

"Ready?" She smiled, holding out her hand lovingly, as they prepared to make their way towards the large house.

Ashton Dimitrius Hopkins watched the barren landscape go by for what felt like days. How long do we have to be here again? He wondered to himself, running a hand through his dark hair before returning his gaze to Imogen. He was pretty sure she was the only girl that could get him to come out here. He smiled a little, despite the heat coming in from the open windows. Is Arizona directly over the pits of Hell? He couldn't help but think to himself as he watched Imogen brush some of her hair back. He'd always loved her hair color, and he was pretty sure she knew it, since he always wanted to touch it.

Ash's eyes once again settled on the depressingly sandy, hot, and otherwise unattractive landscape for a few more minutes before they finally came to a halt which made him just want to throw his hands up in the air and shout, 'Thank you Jesus', but he refrained from doing so as he stepped outside and took a good long look at the ranch and all of it's...livestock. The whole place smelled like a Pig Sty, he thought to himself, no pun intended. He looked down at his black skinny jeans, Converse and bright green teenage mutant ninja turtles t-shirt and sniffed at his cologne. Well, he wasn't out of his element or anything now, was he? Ash grabbed his guitar to insure it's safety and sighed, "I wish we could've taken the BMW." He told Imogen before following after her. He knew this was supposed to be a get away of sorts, but he had the feeling that he didn't really want to be here that long. Ash looked at the horses in the pastures for a second, finding them rather graceful and majestic looking, but he was pretty sure his views on them would be changed.

He couldn't help but jump when he saw the sheep dog bounding toward them but he relaxed once Imogen called him by name, "Max?" He asked, questioningly and hoping that dog wouldn't be curling up in their bed any time soon. He hated having animal hair on his things, he thought.

"As I'll ever be." He told Imogen just before suddenly yet another dog trotted near them, making a large circle around them before settling down several feet away, keeping it's distance and looking at them with distrusting eyes that unnerved Ashton. One blue, one brown. He looked like some sort of mix gone terribly wrong, "That has to be the ugliest dog I've ever seen." He blurted, staring at it before the sound of clattering hooves caught his attention, making him look up as a blonde girl loped what looked to be a small, stocky black horse toward them before bringing them to a sliding stop and jumping off, letting the horse's split reins fall on the ground. She grinned at Imogen, "Immy!" She said, excitedly. "You're back." She seemed to be a little unsure as to if Imogen remembered her or something, Ashton thought as he looked at the horse which stood ground-tied, it's ears tipped toward the girls, another rider - male came up and nodded at the blonde girl, "Nice job running off, Shorty." He told her with a grin which just made the girl laugh, "My name isn't Shorty. His name is Shorty." She pointed to the black horse.

"How do you know I wasn't talking to Shorty while looking at you?" He asked, adjusting his cowboy hat. Do I have to wear one of those? Ashton wondered, thinking he very well may die if his buddies ever saw him in one of those.

"Well, you better get back over to the ranch and check the herd before Dad notices you're gone." The blonde girl told him, pointing a finger at him.

The guy shrugged and nodded, tipping his hat to her slightly and then spinning the horse around, "Catch ya later, Eli." He said and then began loping off. Ashton blinked and then looked back at the black horse. He wasn't sure if he should grab the reins or not in case the horse spooked. He turned his gaze back to the girl and slid his hands into his pockets. He had absolutely no idea who she was, so he decided he should wait for Immy's reaction to her before he introduced himself. Come to think of it...did that blonde girl notice him at all?

Dry, hot air. Endless sunlight. Insects flew around in the air; another day in Arizona. Jesse leaned against the wall of the stable, readujsting his Arizona Cardinals cap, and listened to the horses making noise and swishing their tails back and forth. He chuckled a little, getting off the wall and leaning on the stable door. He reached in between the bars to pat one of the horses on the nose. At least they both felt the same way. He'd since took off his shirt and sat it somewhere in an effort to cool off. Actually, Jesse had been here working since the early morning hours. The horse stalls needed cleaning, and there was a never ending list of things to repair. Plus, he liked the company of Imogen's parents - they were always so nice to him - and Eli also worked at the ranch. She was here today, right? He didn't remember seeing her today, but if she was here that wouldn't surprise him. Probably riding her horse or something. Maybe if he had some free time later on he'd come back when the heat had died down a little and ride. It'd been too long since he felt the rush of riding - really riding - a horse around the ranch. Work sucks, huh? Jesse laughed out loud, causing the horse to give him almost a quizzical look. If horses could do that. He gave it one more rub before taking a step back and examining the stables. Working at the ranch didn't suck. The heat was probably just getting to him, which was weird.

Jesse found his shirt and an empty water bottle lying on the ground. The last thing he wanted was to put it on and smell bad - he took some pride in how he looked - but most people in Arizona understood. You probably weren't going to smell too good after frying in the sun. And he didn't have anyone to impress today. The thought suddenly reminded him of Imogen. For all he knew, she could be getting all dolled up to pose for a magazine, or an interview. Maybe rehearsing for a concert or going out with her boyfriend. His breath caught a little, but he quickly let the thought pass.

She was happy. That's all that mattered.

He made his way into the house through the kitchen door and splashed some water on his face from the sink. Where were Imogen's parents? Probably out. Or in another room. He heard the TV on, though he wasn't sure what room it was coming from. It looked like he just wasn't as in-the-loop today. He didn't know where anybody was. After drying his hands, Jesse went to the refrigerator and pored himself a glass of lemonade, folding his arms in a way that his drink didn't spill. The cool drink and being indoors felt nice. Now he needed to figure out where everybody was. Jesse took off his hat and ran a hand through his wavy hair, shrugging, deciding that could wait. He'd just enjoy the calm moment while he could. Sip some lemonade. Look around the rather neat kitchen. He was about to go back outside to see if there was anything else he was forgetting to do when a dog started barking. Max, no doubt. Jesse raised an eyebrow, wondering what the fuss was over, but not really pressed to do anything about it. Dogs were always barking. But the sound of talking, tires, and a horse made him pause. What's going on outside?

Jesse sat his drink down and opened the front door, walking outside and almost not believing the sight in front of him. Was that Immy? He almost didn't notice her man standing next to her, or Eli in front of them. But eventually the world came back and he was... confused. He wasn't the only one who had no idea she was coming back, right? Was this a surprise? Why was Imogen back, and what made her rock star boyfriend want to tag along? No, no, she probably invited him.

Who cares. He stopped letting his mind fill with questions and quickly walked over to the group. "Wow, it's been too long," he said, still shocked about her being here.

OOC: Outfit

IC: The early afternoon sun beat down on the young woman as she raced across the field on the back of her beautiful chestnut coated horse. She rode bareback, preferring to feel the intensely muscled animal beneath her move against her body without the barrier of a saddle, and moved effortlessly with the horse. Her hair, the color of a flame, flew out behind her and bounced as she rode, the crimson curls bouncing and twirling as her hat barely stayed seated upon her head. The gold chain and horseshoe pendant slapped against her chest as she urged DBIT in a new direction, barely putting any pressure on his side to make him turn, and was about to make another turn when she heard the excited barks of dogs and the crunch of gravel as someone drove up the driveway at the Delfino ranch.

"Woah, hold up DBIT." She said, leaning back slightly as her horse slowed to a steady trot while she eyed the taxi. She was still quite far out in the field but could make out Elizabeth on her horse as she approached the taxi and, a moment later, spotted her brother wonder out of the house somewhat unsteadily as though he was surprised.

"Come on, get up." She urged DBIT, sending him into a gallop so that she could get a better look at who had arrived. She had not heard about any visitors, but maybe news had come while she was out doing chores all morning. There were two people, one girl and one boy, who looked decidedly out of place based only on their attire. As she came closer she noticed the man pull a guitar case out of the trunk and it clicked into place...

It was Imogen and her musician boyfriend.

Her light mood darkened considerably and she had to fight the urge to turn around and take off back into the fields, avoiding Imogen and whatever his name was, but she wanted to be there for her brother. She was close enough to hear them talking now, though they didn't seem to be doing much of it, so she slipped gracefully from DBIT's back and landed lightly on the grass.

"Go on, I'll come back later." She whispered to the horse, giving him a loving pat on the nose before making her way to the high fence that enclosed the field. She grabbed the top of it and quickly pulled herself over, swinging her long lean legs over the wood and using the sturdy heel of her cowboy boots to help. She approached the group in clear view, casting her brother a quick glance to see how he was (shocked more than anything else), and then directed her bright green eyes towards Imogen and her boyfriend.

"And to what do we owe this pleasure?" Christine said with a smile that did not quite reach her eyes. It was no surprise that her respect for Imogen had greatly diminished when she had abandoned her brother for fame and had cut nearly all ties with her friends and family. Her attention focused solely on her old friend, barely registering the boyfriend that stood beside her.

Am I still welcome here?

Immy knew that Ashton didn't really want to be in Arizona, but she couldn't help that. Despite the fact that she spoke to her parents almost four times a week, to make sure that they were okay and everything was peachy, she still missed home. She missed the stifling heat of the state that left the people who weren't natives burnt to a crisp; she missed the sound of her mother's singing voice drifting throughout the house as she cooked dinner; she missed the smell of the horses in the morning, slipping in through her open window; and, she missed her friends and family. Jesse. She missed Jesse. Her best friend, the only person that she had ever felt that close to before. The one who was there for her throughout time of her life that no-one else had been. At the time, she had wanted to leave. When the opportunity came up, she took it without question, and Jesse had supported her through that, whereas others, like Christine, that hadn't felt the same.

"Mhm?" Imogen said, whipping her head around to look at her fiancé. "Really honey? You're obsessed with that thing!" She laughed, nudging him gently with her elbow. "Look around you, Ash. This... a BMW would not fit in here, trust me. It'd be covered in dust after a couple of hours. You'll grow to love it here babe, trust me." As she stroked Max, another dog came bounding up to her, one that she hadn't seen before. She looked at it strangely, her face contorting into an expression of concentration, before Ashton's comment caused a small giggle to escape her mouth, releasing the frown on her face, and changing it into a smile. Then, she head a resounding voice and the sound of horses hooves on the dusty ground, and her head snapped up to see who was advancing towards her. "Eli? Is that you? My god, you've grown!" She awed at the girl in front of her, and then pulled her into a one armed hug. It had been ages since she had seen the girl, the other farm hand that had worked around the ranch when they needed help, and her female best friend. "Eli, this is Ashton Hopkins, but you probably know that already. Ash, this is Elizabeth McBride, or Eli." She grinned, gesturing to the two in front of her as she did so. "I didn't expect to see you here, Eli. Do you work here now then?" She questioned, after the other male had left after poking fun at her.

However, before the girl could give her a proper answer, two other people joined the scene, one being Jesse. Her Jesse Rawth. Her best friend. "J--" Her eyes glazed over him and her mouth fell open slightly. He looked... fantastic. His shirt was open, due to the heat, and he looked as if he had been at work; slightly sweaty, (the sexy kind), and his hair was in a mess upon his head. She was in shock. She couldn't believe that he was here. At her home. In her family ranch. "J--" She began to say, her mouth falling over to words. However, her voice was interrupted by the crooning sound of Christine Rawth. "Ah... Christine." Imogen spoke gently, looking over towards the younger girl. She could see the lack of enthusiasm on the female's face as she looked at her and her lover, and she stuck her hand awkwardly in her pocket, and shuffled her feet, kicking up some of the dust. "I... we thought we'd come home. I want to introduce Ashton to everyone here, especially mum and dad." She said, taking a few steps backwards, so that she was again standing next to her fiancé. He made her feel safe and comfortable in this strange and awkward atmosphere. As she looked back towards Jesse, she felt the familiar heart flutter and the stomach butterflies that she had once felt when she looked at him; when she was only sixteen years old. No, don't think about that, Imogen. You're with Ashton. You love him. You're getting married to him. She plastered a smile on her face and laced her fingers with Ashton's once more, giving them a reassuring squeeze. Everyone seemed to be ignoring him, and she felt bad for it.

"Ash, this is Christine Rawth. And... Jesse. Jesse Rawth."

Ashton ran his thumb over the leather case of his guitar, wishing it didn't feel like he was standing in an oven. Imogen actually liked feeling like her skin was going to sear off? He sniffed at his cologne, grateful he'd applied some before getting here, since everything else smelled like...livestock and dirt. He smiled a little though at his fiancee, "I'm not obsessed with it. I just like it. A lot. And dirt?" He wrinkled his nose slightly at the thought of...dirt being all over his car he spent a fortune on. "Maybe it's best I left it at home then." He said, looking around for other cars to compare it to. Love it here...sure. He thought, a bit sarcastically. Maybe...maybe he'd learn to like it a little more. Either way, he was going to try to refrain from looking disgusted with the situation - he was here to try to make Imogen happy.

He listened quietly as Immy spoke to the blond girl known as Eli, from what he'd gathered.

The blond grinned at her old friend, "I know! You have too. What's the big city life like?" She asked, tucking a strand of wavy hair behind her ears before turning her blue gaze to Ashton, "It's nice to finally meet the famous Ashton." She seemed approving, from what Ashton thought, though he could never be to sure. He'd grown to know that women were master's of disguising their emotions sometimes.

"And yep, I work here with Jesse." Eli said, her smile faltering only slightly, though Ash caught it. He wondered if she didn't like Jesse very much or something. He was tempted to try to analyze the situation, as he so often did, but he refrained from doing so, since he didn't really know these people.

Ash felt a little uncomfortable as Jesse and Christine joined the scene, he wasn't all too sure who this Jesse was - or why he was walking around half-naked, but he seemed to have made Imogen lose her ability to speak properly. He couldn't really tell if he was jealous about all this or not, but he was coming to think he wouldn't like him very much. At all.

He shifted his gaze the other girl. She must be Jesse's younger sister, he thought to himself, running his fingers through his dark hair and playing with his tongue piercing. Christine seemed to be making Immy uncomfortable, and he could see why, noting her mildly disapproving gaze. Christine was stunning, he noted, but it didn't really impact him. He gave Imogen's hand a gentle squeeze, "Nice to meet you all." He said, though he wasn't sure if this was going to turn into a disaster or not.

"Ah... Christine." Imogen spoke gently, looking over towards the younger girl.

Christine was somewhat pleased that Imogen was feeling uncomfortable, it served her right. Her friendship with the girl had never been as strong as Imogen's friendship with Jesse and Elizabeth, but they were friends... many years ago. Things were different now and she would never forgive the girl for turning her back on Jesse, because she had seen how hurt he had been by her leaving. Though he did his best to pretend he was okay, she could tell that seeing her again opened up old wounds that had only begun to heal and it made her angry to see her brother hurt like that.

"I... we thought we'd come home. I want to introduce Ashton to everyone here, especially mum and dad." She said, taking a few steps backwards, so that she was again standing next to her fiancé.

She had barely spared a glance at the man Imogen had arrived with, but when she moved back to stand with him she was forced to take a look at him. He wasn`t overly tall, perhaps at an even height with her, and looked distinctly like a rocker with ink black razor cut hair, piercings, skinny jeans, and a ridiculous t-shirt. He clutched to his guitar case like it was his life source and had an awkward expression mixed with a look of distaste, likely due to the smell of the ranch. She knew that he was considered incredibly handsome by many (including the majority of girls in town), but she only gave him a fleeting glance.

"Ash, this is Christine Rawth. And... Jesse. Jesse Rawth."

Christine narrowed her eyes slightly at the way Imogen hesitated when introducing Jesse, eyes lingering just a little bit too long on her brother's exposed chest. She bit the inside of her cheek to stop from tearing a strip off the girl, keeping control of herself for her mom and brother's sake.. not Imogen's.

He gave Imogen's hand a gentle squeeze, "Nice to meet you all." He said, though he wasn't sure if this was going to turn into a disaster or not.

She exhaled and turned towards Ashton, trying her best to be pleasant. She was pissed at Imogen, not Ashton (at least not yet), so she would try to be pleasant to him, "Nice to meet you, Ash." She said, breaking the silence and tipping the front of her hat down slightly in the traditional way of greeting that they did in the country. She was sure it would look weird to an outsider, especially someone like Ashton, but she hardly cared about what he thought.

He'd be lying if he said he wasn't a little hurt by what he saw. Sure, she wasn't able to get his name out due to what he hoped was pure joy, but at the same time, she retreated back to the comfort of her fiance. He understood. She needed Ashton, whatever. But even if he had no idea she was coming back, he hoped she be more comfortable here. Was it the fact that her man wasn't a native? Did she change? No, she wouldn't have. Jesse may of ignored her in the magazines after a while, but he never thought the fame would get to her.

Jesse looked back and forth between everybody. Imogen and how she seemed to almost cling to her... fiance. Ashton just didn't look very comfortable in the Arizona heat surrounded by people who all knew each other. Honestly, he wasn't immediately sure this would be a good start to her stay. The moment felt somewhat awkward. But maybe it was because they hadn't seen each other in so long. After all, it'd been years since they last been together. He didn't really approve of the look Ashton gave his sister. Not that the new guy couldn't look. He didn't care who looked as long as they didn't do anything. And did he get the feeling Ashton was uncomfortable with him standing here? Jesse had just got done working and probably didn't look too good, but was it really that intimidating, for lack of a better word? Jesse put on his best smile and forced all those thoughts out of his head, preferring to focus on one thing at a time rather than all of his assumptions. He had a problem with that. Then again, he would've showered if he'd known Ashton and Imogen were coming over. He still wanted to know who all knew about their visit in advance.

"Nice to meet you, too, Ashton," Jesse nodded, smiling. It wasn't fake in the least; he was happy to finally see Imogen again, and meet the guy she was supposed to marry. He just wasn't sure how long it would last.

"Hey, why don't we all go inside and get something to drink?" he suggested, looking at each of them. Even though Imogen and Ashton had been sitting on a jet and riding in a car for so long, he figured they'd want to go inside and cool off. It'd be a good opportunity to for them all to catch up, and in Ashton's case, find out a little more about each other. Actually, Jesse was pretty curious about the guy. Skinny jeans and converse - his shoes probably wouldn't stay too clean out here what with the dust, mud, and other things you could step in. Hopefully he didn't bring anything too nice. There weren't many fancy places in this town to go to if you felt like getting dressed up. However, maybe it would be a good trip if they all drove out to find a place like that? The thought made him grin. "When you're feeling up to it, we could go ride some horses or something." Jesse shrugged and put his hands in his pockets.

If everyone was feeling uncomfortable at the moment, the least he could do was try and ease the situation some.

Re: These Big City Dreams

I've just checked, and I had written up a post, pressed submit, checked it and closed it. But apparently it never actually posted.
Feel like punching the computer :D

Re: These Big City Dreams

Hey everyone, just checking in to see what the status of this is.... is it still on? I would really really really love for this to continue

Re: These Big City Dreams

YAHAR! My laptop has returned! My boyfriend just brought it over, the sweetie that he is.
It apparently had no thermal paste on it, and it had already started to burn through to the processor. Apparently that's a bad thing. At least it's not running at 106 degrees any more, but a healthy-ish 60. :)
I'll be able to post again tomorrow - this roleplay is back on! ;D

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

At my boyfriends at the moment, but it should be up and running by tomorrow/Monday latest.

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

:( I'm sad that this is stalled right now... Imagine, any word on when your computer will be back up and running?

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

I actually have no computer access at the moment, and I'm only on my mum's computer briefly to check everything here. My computer is running at 106 degrees and is with my boyfriend who's trying to fix it. I would post on my mother's computer, however, it takes about ten seconds for each character to show up after it's been typed, so by the time I had a lengthy post written, I would have been timed out anyway.
I'll try and post as soon as possible, when my computer comes back :D

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

We now have all of the characters, plus another :D

I've just posted up the starting post, so if we're all still interested, write away <3

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

Shudder, your character is perfect now, thank you!
Now, all we need is Ashton :D

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

Sorry, I forgot. It hasn't worked out in the past, so I thought, new people, might work better.

And ShudderFox- he's perfect. He's definitely accepted, although, you really need to do something with his history. It has to be as long as mine, if possible. I'll accept him though, if you can edit it.

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

......You could have told me you restarted it. Gee, thanks a lot.

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

Armageddon has also just posted a character sheet for Christine, so you have until tomorrow at about 10:00PM GMT to get up a bio, Kenzi <3

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

You can try out for him, yess :D
As stated before, no reservations - just try outs!

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

Throw up a profile for her :D Although, I'm doing try-outs for characters in this roleplay, as there is only four characters to play. If no-one else applys for the spot in 24 hours as well, she's definitely yours :D

Re: [OOC] These Big City Dreams

Could I take "Christine"/Jesses little sister?

I could take a male character too, if you need!
