Nickname: As one could assume, sometimes people call him by the name Ash. Though is mother did call him, 'Ashy Bunny' as a child, much to his total and complete horror.

Personality: Ashton is your average lead singer, really. He takes his responsibilities seriously as a singer and never ceases to stop to make sure everything is in order - sometimes people call him 'OCD' because he constantly is checking in on things from his phone, laptop - really whatever electronic device he can get a hold of, trying to better the situation as it's been said he can't hold onto one thing for the life of him - he's always looking for something better. Ash has always been a hopeless romantic, he always falls fast and hard for women - not a good trait in the music industry, unlike his band mates, he always fell for the girls that tried to sleep with him when he first started out, but he quickly found out that none of them actually had feelings for him - they just liked him because he was getting famous, so he's had his fair share of heart break.
Every man has his faults, while Ashton has had heart break in the past, it doesn't mean he's an incredibly sensitive, sweet guy. As an only child, he has gotten used to getting what he wants and is often demanding - it's just something that's followed him around since childhood, his parents never disciplined him much as he was their only son and they were filthy rich, so he could really have just whatever he wanted. He doesn't get it if he finds out he can't have something and often gets frustrated when things aren't instantaneous and is often cocky in his abilities to play, write lyrics and sing, in interviews he often brags saying he is the 'heart and soul of the band', something that his band mates just try to laugh off, for the most part.
Ashton's loyalty is a questionable thing, it's never really been tested as it's never been needed to. Even his band mates can't really vouch for him there, until he met Imogen he just slept with whatever fan girl offered herself to him and if he felt he liked her, he tried to keep a relationship with her, but most tossed him aside for another sooner or later, often taking his heart with them - his bassist once asked if he went out of his way to hurt himself to get good publicity, often playing the hurt musician card with women. Now it seems to his band mates he's fallen head over heels for Imogen, but how long can it be until his hopeless romantic nature gets the best of him?
Quirks: Ashton has a mild case of OCD, meaning he's constantly checking on things to make sure everything is running smoothly and everything is in order. He also has a weird thing about his food touching - for instance, if his green beans touches his mashed potatoes he considers the meal ruined - the entire band often makes fun of him for this.

Having to be somewhere at a specific time - he's a perfectionist, he loves to be there exactly on time and trying to get the whole band together and there in time is an act of god.
Animal hair - it always gets all over his furniture.
Fears: Arachnophobia - Ashton is incredibly Arachnophobic and often makes Imogen kill the spiders for him. He also suffers from Monophobia, he hates the idea of being alone, hence why he used to sleep with women on tours - he doesn't like to go to sleep alone.
History: Ashton was born at 9:05 AM in Hollywood, California to Lilla and Edward Hopkins, barely five minutes after they reached the hospital after fleeing from their mansion. He still resides there when Imogen isn't with him as 'It's one kickass pad'. He grew up a terribly spoiled child that, if he whined enough, could get anything he wanted from his parents who doted on him constantly . He wasn't aware this was bratty behavior and thus never really learned from it.
All through school, Ashton always fought to have all eyes on him - it quickly became apparent he had a knack for music when he was in middle school and learned to play the guitar and sing. He captured the attention of many, and wanting to show their son off to the word, Lilla and Edward immediately found a program to put Ashton in so that he could share his talents with the world - his career practically took off over night, and thus he can barely believe it when people say that it took a long time for their career in the music industry to take off.
Ashton slowly acquired his band members one by one and they all eventually became close friends, though they often tease him about his 'OCD' and such. No one ever took him seriously when he said he wants to find his true love, his bassist even said, "Well, out of all of us you have the best shot at it - all the ladies love you." and it's often believed he's just a common ladies man by interviewers and fans alike.
His playing style evolved over time as well, at first he only played original rock and some punk but once pop punk and such became popular he fell in love with the sound and now his bands sound is the most like that of Cobra Starship.
After having many, not long lasting relationships, Ashton finally met the woman who he tells everyone is 'The love of his life' and everyone is amazed at how long this one has lasted and how he seems to look at her with puppy dog eyes every time he sees her. He's found that he truly does want to please her and he didn't even mind when he thought that Imogen might have been pregnant once...he would've happily raised the child, he thought.
Though this one time, Ashton isn't too sure about one of Immy's decisions - he currently resides in what once was his bachelor pad, a modern upscale apartment, so returning to the tiny town where Immy grew up...He told her that he thought it would be a nice trip, but was secretly thinking he may die out there.
Other: Ashton owns a white BMW which he calls, 'His baby' he's constantly getting it washed, refuses to let anyone eat or drink in it and everyone thinks he should just get married to it - even his parents.
