"Good, good, I don't like little dudes getting sad!"

He patted the boy on the head and looked up at the flickering lights, feeling his heart race in anticipation. "Haunted house games?" The boy asked, cocking his head. "I didn't hear anything about that, but if it is, dude, that's like awesome!"

Now I can be ultra-creeper! MUWAHA!

When the lights went out, Elliot disappeared into the darkness. "Hey, guys. You still there?" He asked. "Though, I'm really serious. I didn't hear anything about haunted house games."

The boy smiled in the darkness and put an arm around Bill's and the bishounen boy's shoulder. "Though, we'll be fine, because your guardian is here!" He said, his idiotic grin plastered on his face even in the darkness. "I heard in these types of games, it's a contest to see who scares who first, so I guess we'll be a team if that's the point of it. Unless I can scare you two, but I'm too much of a pacifist, unless of course, this isn't actually a game."

He blinked once, then felt himself feel like he was going to freak out. "Like, did someone die in here or something? OH GOD, DID SOMEONE GET MURDERED LIKE SCHRODINGER'S CAT?!"

The boy started cursing excessively in French, as in all honesty, he was freaking out, loosing his cool. His mojo, or whatever. "Oh mon dieu putain! OH MON DIEU PUTAIN! Pepe pepe pepe! PEPE! Mon ami! Je suis damne!"

Elliot grabbed onto both of the students and clutched onto both of their shoulders, shaking, his vibrations going down his arm, and they could probably feel him shaking. Most likely, though he avoided grabbing onto Michael, since he couldn't really see him.

(XD DX sorry my mistake)

Aoiro blinked as the girl approched

"Oh? Me.. uhm ok" He took out one and nibbled on an end of it
"Thanks uhm..." it occured to him that he didn't know her name. Wow he must look stupid accepting food from a total staranger. He stared at the pocky blinking. It seemed safe to eat, didn't taste bad plus she seemed like a real nice girl.

it was about then when Michael came over, Aoiro knew him too he was also in Karuko's class. He smiled up at him and greeted him

"Ohai" ^^.

and then the lights went out and Elliot started ...panicing?
Aoiro didn't like the dark or haunted houses sorta actually believed in ghosts. He clung to the arm nearest him wishing he could find someone he knew.

"..."

Bill remained silent, then she looked at Michael, who had came up. "Oh-hey there boy that left earlier who's name I don't even know." She giggled, then blinked as the lights went out. She tilted her head, listening to what Elliot had to say.

"Who scares who first... I'm not scared easily, unlike my sister, I don't really pay attention to this. Seen too many horror movies in my life, nothing I can't handle." She muttered silently to herself, and continued nibbling on the pocky. However, as soon as Elliot began shaking, she almost choked on her pocky, and had to spit it out. She felt like saying something rather rude, but kept silent instead, mourning the death of her pocky. "Rest in peace."

Elliot calmed down, raising his covered hands to feel around, prodding at Bill's head, poking at Aoiro's arm, until he got hit in the head with something soft. Probably one of those tricks, yet it was soft and kind of heavy, like a person.

"IT'S RAINING MEN!"

The boy jerked backwards, away from the safety of Michael, Bill, and Aoiro, and now was near the steps. "Wait. Bill?! Aoiro? MICHAEL?! Dude, I'm lost!"

Once again, jerking his body backwards to try to find them, he tripped over the steps and his glasses flew off. "Oh sh- I can't see." The male only saw dark, moving blurs, as without his glasses, he's disabled.

"Noooo! My glasses!" The boy laid, sprawled on the steps, using his hand to feel around for his sight depending glasses. Frowning when he was unable to find them, he got up, grabbing onto the wall for help.

"I'm okay though, heh heh," he muttered.

Bill blinked as she heard Elliot fall off the steps, AGAIN. She sighed, trying to find him, however, the darkness didn't really play in her cause. She moved close to the wall, and slowly made her way towards her classmate, holding onto it for guidance. However, not so luckily, she faceplanted the wall infront of her. "Oww! Fu..-" She quickly shut her mouth before she began cussing.

"I hate this game." She said "If this is a game. Or its a prank. Probably. Possibly." Bill nodded slowly, taking out her phone and searching for the lantern function. Luckily enough, she hadn't deleted it, but her battery was too low for it to work properly. It seemed more like a fading mood-light, but it was still better than nothing. She managed to find the light activation buttons, but none of them worked. "This sucks."

Aoiro still didn't know whos are he clung to only hoping they wouldn't be upset about it. He could hear a lot of noise but as he didn't know who ...or what... was making it he wasn't sure what to think.
He remembered words someone had told him the dark doesn't seem so scary if you only close your eyes. So he did.

Even though the logic of that didn't make even the slightest amount of sense. He did somehow seem safer. He was able to calm down and breathe normally which he at the moment realized was not doing. He was able to focus on the sounds of the peoples voices and thus zone in on thier locations.

"Wait. Bill?! Aoiro? MICHAEL?! Dude, I'm lost!"

Aoiro heard. Well thats definetly Elliot he thought calmly
listening harder, as his feet began to move towards the voices he recognized. He slowly let go of whoevers arm.

"I hate this game."

a quieter voice was saying. that he recognized as the blue haired girls... he still didn't know her name he'd made a mental note to ask that later and continued walking slowly.

Elliot couldn't help but start giggling.

"Looks like everyone's getting hurt. I think I may have found my glasses anyways." He leaned down and felt along the floor, and finally found his glasses. "Yes, I am victorious! Now, I think we should get to the gym before Truth or Dare starts or something."

Using the wall for support, he pressed his hands against it and finally found Bill, because she had a fading light flashing. "There you are. Now let's get Aoiro."

Elliot grabbed onto Bill's arm gently, finally exposing his hands (that were gloved. He wore pink gloves..) and soon, he finally found Aoiro, and grabbed onto his arm too.

"Alright, everyone's here except Michael, but I think he can pretty much manage. Now, does anyone have a flashlight? Oh wait, that's right!"

The male rummaged through the pocket of his black, baggy pants, remembering he brought glowsticks, and he put a pink glowstick necklace around his neck, lighting the area somewhat.

"Take a bunch of glowsticks. He he!" He said gleefully, and put a necklace on Aoiro and on Bill. "I dunno what colors you guys like, so I just gave you guys blue, because well, your hair is blue..and stuff, so, like, yeah..alright. 'Nuff stress. Let's get to the gym."

Michael walked into their area and breathed out loud." Where the heck were you guys and can i get a glowstick that can atleast work,my damn phone went off quick and since we are going back to the gym im coming too".Michael started to walk in a limp like step since his leg flinched and he got a crook in it."Well help me here guys".

Michael started to reach in his pocket for his phone and the battery was charged up to 77% now." Thats strange my phone is back up and running".

Aoiro's eyes flew open as Elliot grabbed onto his arm. He noticed from the faint glow of "the girl's" phone that she had been found as well.

He sure is happy.. Aoiro thought as the blonde spoke.

"Alright, everyone's here except Michael, but I think he can pretty much manage. Now, does anyone have a flashlight? Oh wait, that's right!" he was asking

Aoiro frowned he didn't have a such thing if he were smart enough to have brought one maybe they wouldn't be stuck in the dark. He bit his lip again trying to replace the evil thoughts. when Elliot pulled out glow sticks. Aoiro wanted to hug him he was so happy. He only blinked once as Eliiot fastened a blue one around his neck matching the girls. just like they're hair as Elliot was so kind to explain.

"Yes lets!" he exclaimed as Michael walked up again.

Bill remained silent, but slightly freaked out when Elliot approached her. "Oh, its just you.." She let out a long sigh, then smiled and followed him. When they found Aoiro, she was even more happy, atleast everyone.. Well, almost, was okay.

She blinked as a blue glow-stick was fastened around her neck. She frowned slightly. "We look like a dog gang from cartoons, ya' know. Two midgets, one is cute, the other one is mean, and a spazzy-fluff-ball." Bill giggled at the thought, perhaps she could write a story about that when she got back home. But right now, she was supposed to focus on not tripping and bringing the whole 'gang' down with her.

Then she realised, Michael still wasnt there. "Oh, give me a moment." She got out her phone and turned out the, BARELY flashing light. She pointed it around the room, untill she was able to locate Michael. Her 'collar', glew pretty brightly too, so perhaps if he could find them, he'd manage to catch up?

KuruLesperance wrote:Right now, Elliot, Aoiro, Bill, and Michael are in the hall trying to find their way to the gym. They're adjacent to the cafeteria, at the moment, and all lights are off, so they have glowsticks and phones for substitute lights.
So, you can either be in the gym, or just pop out of nowhere, or something. c:

Aoiro followed the others still a little uneasy. He liked them for the most part but really wished he could find his friend Karuko. He hadn't seen him since much earlier that day and due to the current events wasn't sure whether or not he would see him again.

Aoiro frowned and helped by taking out his own cellphone and turning on the light on thier path. It was blue like his hair and had a cuwte charm dangling off it. In actuality it looked pretty girly which never bothered him much but it might seem odd to the others. hopefully they weren't paying attention to that matter.

Staring at the phone he thought of a way he could find his friend. He could easily text him. But would that be weird.Karuko might think he was too paranoid. It was after all only just a little black out. Aoiro clicked off the contact name and shinned the light on the floor again.

Bill sighed and shrugged. The rave-stick did glow, so she really didn't have to use that pityful flashlight she had on her phone. She turned back to Aoiro and Elliot. "So.. Where exactly is the gym? Second floor? Ground floor?" She asked, not showing much interest in her words. She stretched, looking around, it was still dark, and it actually was becoming kind of creepy. Maybe there was some sort of special event that the guys forgot of?

"Perhaps they're having a halloween party... One month... Late..." Bill muttered underbreath, narrowing her eyes. She saw a faint light from a large room in the end of the corridor, which seemed ridiculously long, due to the lack of lighting. She twitched slightly as a breeze passed right through her hair, much alike an open window. It definately looked like a late halloween party.

Koe flailed lightly, her feet pounding against the ground as she made her way to school. "Late late late, so very late. Oh well, that's peachy, I can deal perfect." She chuckled, talking to herself in order to get energize herself more. She spread her arms out in front of herself, ramming straight into the door but being able to push down on the handles, causing said door to fly open. Kinery slid on the floor past the front desk then tried to alter her direction, running in place for a split second before gaining traction and heading back to the desk. "Haha, sorry I'm late, what's up? I hope I'm not too late at all. You know, these things are hard to avoid and all. Oh hey, by the way, did you notice there's a spider in that corner?" She chattered on, getting suddenly distracted as she spoke to the front desk person. The fem's lips turned up in a small smile, her eyes closing as she pointed to the web.

"No worries, classes were cut short today anyway. All that is needed is for you to go meet other kids, I suppose. A scheduling mishap, you could say. It's so shameful, so much work...." The woman mumbled on. "Alrighty then, thanks!" She panted lightly, pressing down on her hand between her thumb and index finger to calm herself down. Koe chuckled to herself quietly. "Well, I'd suggest killing that nasty bugger; who knows what gender it-" But she was cut off, the lights suddenly flickering off. However, light from the woman's laptop lit up the small hallway, and Kinery smiled. How cool is this? A blackout at school. I've always wanted this to happen to me.

The brown-haired girl turned, about to dart away when the front desk lady called out. "Miss Mave, did you remember your pills this morning?" Kinery groaned, smacking her forehead. "Oh dear, in my rush to get to school.... Oh well, no time for such trivial things, I must be off! Adieu!" And with that, she darted away into the darkness, lowering her hand to her messenger bag and pulling out a lantern. Ha! What are the odds? I bring this for my tryouts in theater after school, and now it can actually be used! The girl smiled, pulling out a lighter and flicking her thumb on the gear, a small flame flickering to life. Koe paused in order to ignite the lantern, light now pulsating against the walls and in a small circle around the girl's figure. She closed the glass door, and then put the lighter back, taking off once more.Gym might be an awesome idea. People will probably amass there! She nodded to herself contently, absolutely sure of her idea. Maybe I should try finding Naomi. But then again, what are the odds THERE? Besides, I forgot my phone as well. But on another note, how cool is it she's actually coming to this school!

((Thanx Echo))

Feeling bored, Karuko gazed around the darkened gym, searching for the new girls. Strangely, he could not see them, even using the flashlight on his iPhone. Surely Aoiro would be there? Nope. Therefore he edged his way over to the door and silently went through the door and into the corridor. "Where on Earth are they?" he mumbled to himself. "They should've arrived in the gym ages ago. Probably the blackout." He made his way across the corridors, down stairs, up stairs, all using his bright phone light that he pointed at the ground.
Eventually Karuko came across a pair of feet, and looking up he saw Aoiro. In a surge of relief, he went and hugged his friend. Then, thing better of it, he backed way. "Sorry man, I was just so pleased to see you 'cuz I was really bored and..well, you know." he stammered nervously. After that he looked behind Aoiro and spotted Bill, Elliot and Michael. "Guys!" he exclaimed. "So where on Earth have you been?!"

(anytime ^^)

Aoiro could see much better now with the glow of the lights of phones and glow sticks, So he didn't need to follow voices anymore.

"So.. Where exactly is the gym? Second floor? Ground floor?" the girl asked

Aoiro thought for a moment "it should be quite near us I don't remember going near any stairs when I got lost" He replied trying to be helpful and added in a soft smile. Then two arms came around him. Aoiros eyes got big almost in a minute of panic before he realized just as the boy let go who it was.

"Sorry man, I was just so pleased to see you 'cuz I was really bored and..well, you know." Karuko said as he backed away from Aoiro

Aoiro's smile got bigger as he finally found his friend. He patted his shoulder "Thats alright I'm really happy to see you're safe" which was true relief had spread throughout Aoiros whole body. The dark wasn't scary anymore and plus they were all together. He turned facing the others.

"Dude! We were both like, standing out here, and the lights when poof, and then BAM, I fell. I lost my glasses. Then phones went on, and I gave away glowsticks. Oh yeah."

Elliot hopped up to Michael and put a glow necklace around his neck, and then blinked at her words. "Halloween party? One month late? I thought we already had a Halloween party, like, a day before actual Halloween, unless my premonition is true and this place actually is haunted."

The boy shivered at the gust of wind. "Creepy, dude. This reminds me of something; you know, like, uh..what was it's name?" Elliot began tapping his bottom lip, and when he thought of it, he grinned. "Oh yeah! I feel like we're in that Scooby Doo show or something, like Karuko is Fred, I'm Shaggy, Aoiro is Scrappy-Doo, Michael is Yabba-Doo, and Bill is like, Velma. Oh man. We need a Daphne and Scooby.."

Elliot shook his head and sighed. "Perhaps this place is like, haunted, guys. That'd be, like, so cool. Just don't go to that light over there. Don't go in the light, or else something bad will happen. I've heard that line in movies."

The boy went up to Karuko and fastened a green glowstick necklace around his neck. "We need as much light as we can get, so we can see where we're going."

Elliot shrugged and pulled up his sleeves, and for once showed his actual hands, taking off his pink gloves and stuffing them into his pocket. He pushed his sleeves all the way up to his elbow and put on two pink glow bracelets around each wrist. "I even brought glow earrings. I think they're pretty epic."

True to his word, he rummaged through his pocket and pulled out a pair of earrings; that were pink glowsticks with the attachment; you know, the thing you put through your lobe and then you close it on the other side? Something like that. (lawl I forgot D:)

The boy took out his simple black earrings and then shoved those into his pocket, then put the glowstick earrings onto his lobe and clipped them, now having glowsticks, shaped like a hula hoop, dangling from his ears. Particularly PINK.

"I'm all glowy and stuff now! Dude, it looks cool." Elliot grinned and messed with the belts connected to his thigh. "I also forgot to mention these glow, too. I remember inserting a pink, small light in there that makes 'em light up, for you know, dancing. These are my raving pants."

His thumb brushed over a button and the belts light up, rather brightly, pink through the material. "I think we have enough light now. Sorry if I went overboard with pink glowsticks. I really, really like glow sticks and pink."

The French boy chuckled and looked down the hall with his hands on his hips.

Bill looked at Elliot without trace of amusement. "First, I doubt this place is haunted, its not like there was a prison or a hospital here before the school. Second, why am I Velma? I mean, I know I'm tiny and can be a smartass realist sometimes but... Oh whatever." She seemed to smirk at her last sentence, realising that Elliot was too busy being all pink and bright. She smiled, perhaps they were not THAT bad for a class of guys.

'No.. Can't say that yet.' She muttered to herself, wondering where her sister currently was.

Aoiro stared at Elliot as he rambled on wondering if it was just in the taller boy's nature to be so talkitive or if he was just particuarly hyper this day.
He didn't know what scooby doo was but wasn't sure he like the idea of being called "scrappy doo" it sounded odd to him. He tried to push the thought away as he watched Elliot attach numerous amounts of glow sticks together.

Then focused on Karuko and the girl

"First, I doubt this place is haunted, its not like there was a prison or a hospital here before the school. Second, why am I Velma? I mean, I know I'm tiny and can be a smartass realist sometimes but... Oh whatever." she said

It striked him as odd wasn't someone called Bill the person Elliot said was velma. Then it hit him and before he could stop himself Aoiro asked

"Wait a sec your name is Bill!?" he felt stupid the minute the words came out and wished he had said them quieter. gosh he was such a fool. What if the girl ...Bill.... thought he was poking fun at her. Worse that this had to happen in front of Karuko. Aoiro was so ashamed staring at his feet cheeks flushed with embarrasment at his careless comment.

Kine continued to run along the school corridors, taking a sharp left and slipping into a room, going through it and coming out the other side. Oh man, where am I now? She groaned mentally to herself, taking a left for no reason at all and running down a flight of stairs. Her lantern illuminated around herself, still bright and flickering. Then she heard voices up ahead. She only caught one part of it before all hell broke loose. "Oh man.We need a Daphne and Scooby.." After hearing that, she got distracted by a stray thought, running forward and around a corner towards the voices. However, there were two steps leading down, and she tripped over one, scaling the second, and barreling right into someone. Her lantern went flying, the glass shattering and the metal becoming bent slightly. Luckily, most of the flame went out as the glass door had popped open, allowing the incoming air to extinguish it. Well, most of it.

Kinery let out a loud yelp as the two collided, split-second realizing that he had glass on, y'know, because A.D.H.D. totally makes you notice tiny details, and then they started to descend towards the floor. A small spark ignited from the lantern, catching on a piece of paper that just happened to be there coincidentally and igniting it. The paper then began to smolder, a small stream of smoke spiraling up and reaching a single fire sprinkler. This caused it to turn on immediately, soaking the paper and the kids near-by. Luckily, most of the fire sprinklers were spread out, so only that one turned on. And it was only a light sprinkle, luckily. The sprinkler shut off soon-after. Koe groaned quietly, well, at least the lady at the front desk is kind of sort of looking out for me maybe just a little bit perhaps she then clenched her eyes shut as the hit the floor. She coughed quietly, before chuckling sheepishly. "Ruh-Roh." The fem muttered in that same sheepish nature, rubbing the back of her head.

"Oh dear GOD-"

Elliot got cut off as he was barreled into by a girl, sending them both flying down the hall and paper catching on fire. More unfortunate, the sprinkler went off, and he got wet.

Groaning when they finally stopped, he opened his eyes and his vision was completely blurred. "Crap, dude, my glasses flew off. At least I'm still glowing." He said, able to see faint dots of pink light in his vision.

Attempting to sit up, he was pushed down by the girl's weight, and so he just laid there. "Hey. You alright, whoever you are? I don't need someone getting hurt." The boy asked. Using his hands to feel for something, he prodded at the girl's head, realizing she was still there.

"Mmkay, now I know where you are. Does anyone see my glasses anywhere? I can't, like, see anything. It's all just like, totally a blur." He chuckled and inched himself away from the girl, crawling along the floor lamely for his important glasses. Luckily, he found them, though they were wet, and so he dried them off with his sweater and stuck them back onto his face.

His hair being damp, and his clothes too, he looked like he sweat a pool far away. Crawling back over to the girl, he loomed over her curiously as he prodded at his glasses and pushed them up to the bridge of his nose. "Well, that was the most exciting greeting I've ever gotten."

Naomi looked at the school as they pulled up it was nice but it wasn't home to her. She understood her parents reasons for moving to Japan but still it was a huge change. Bill looked over and gave her a reassuring smile, "This is going to be fun" Naomi said with a smile as they got out of the car. She was surprised that no one really came up and greeted them and they were kind of left to their own devices.

But then again the classes had already started for the day. Her locker as to be expected was right next to Bill's nothing new in their old school they always were in the same class, so it didn't surprise her that they did the same here. "Well I guess we should head to English" she said as she pulled the book out of her locker and stuck them in her bag.

The teacher had a friendly smile when they came into the class, Naomi was surprised that they were the only girls in the class, she leaned over and whispered to Bill "What were they thinking when they put us in this class". Bill was surprisingly the first one to go up and introduce herself to the class. But in that respect she was a little more outgoing then Naomi.

After her sister was finished and sat down, Naomi cleared her throat and bowed politely her short her flipping as she bowed back up again. "My name Naomi, I'm happy to meet you all and I hope that we all will have lots of fun this year. My sister and I are excited to be here". Naomi went and sat next to her sister who chatted with the boys sat around them as Naomi tried to concentrate on the lesson.

Bill always did her own thing in class and never really payed attention in fact most of the time Naomi did her homework along with her so here sister wouldn't totally flunk out of school. The class was let out early and Naomi followed quietly behind her sister trying to get to the lunch room so they could eat. Then the lights went out, they all stumbled through the halls.

Then Naomi realized that she got separated from her sister and the other guys that were showing them where to go. "Bill... Billie where are you?" she said in a almost frantic tone of voice, she thought she saw some small lights come on but they were allot further away from her. "Dammit Billie why did you leave me behind" she said as walked right into something in the dark. "Ouch what was that" she cried out.

A voice gave an answer to Naomi. "Forgive me, m'lady." In the darkness, the voice was the only thing there was to go by, a physical body unseen. "That was myself you ran into. A thousand pardons."

A light flickered above them for a moment, revealing the physical character before Naomi. The form was masculine, and showed a good lining of muscle hidden by a tasteful navy-blue suit. The male was tall, but not so much as to be awkward or unattractive. A metallic mask adorned the face, hiding what may have been a flawless face or a monstrous mishap. "It would seem that you have lost your way. Come, I will show you to your friends, okay?" A hand was offered, but not in a demanding way. "My hand you do not have to take; but with fifteen floors, it may be a mistake."

The school, whether the girl took his hand or not, then stopped the solitary light, putting the immediate area back into darkness.

"I am still here,
Just follow me.
Trust what you hear,
Not what you see."
