Shining, That word alone could explain most aspects of him, The smiles that he's always dressed with in person, the chuckles he gives at the smallest of things, Bittor could shine almost as bright as the sun some think. He appears to never be in a bad mood, chin always up, the bright side usually in his favor. He's a happy man for the most, always radiating joy. Chatting is one of his many talents. Since he's a writer he never lacks the right words, Cecily has never been rendered silent before in his life- ever. He talks a storm to everyone, even those who don't want to listen at times, but he knows when to stop and tries to. It's not like he tries to bother anyone, but it happens sometimes.

With his social skills he has managed to grasp the ability to understand people well and be able to see through their outer layer for the most. Even though he enjoys to have fun, he can stop and be serious and talk to people about how they feel and understand what's wrong with them. He tries to relate the best he can and talk it out with them, because all he wants to do is help. Taking on the chore of helping is something he's caught doing a lot. When someone asks for his help it's hard for him to tell them down or push the needs away, for the sweet Cecily just loves to make others happy, in fact he goes out of his way to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.

The little social butterfly, or as he calls them flutterbys, loves to party, he could do it all the time. He's a drinker, he just loves to feel the music and the vibrations and good feels that he absorbs from those around him. Being the boy that usually hosted the high school parties got him the reputation of being a man hoe, even though he's only been with a few people. He didn't mind though. This also lets people know he's very laid back. Sometimes people take him as a less serious writer because of his life ethics, but in all reality he has a deep love for his writing. He's had the the passion ever since he was a little boy, words are his favorite.

"Communication- it's not a want or a luxury, good communication skills is a need of survival. Without words I would be a lost man. If words and grammar structure were never set in place how would people ever get to know each other? Words aren't meaningless things people should just spat out from rage or guilt, everything that comes out of someone's mouth should be ultimately weighed down by an out pour of meaning. Speak as if it's your last moment."

"My life can easily be described in one word: conversations. That's the main thing that I've done while on this earth: talk. Like I've mentioned some many times without words I'm lost. Talking is just something that comes naturally for me, and because of that I have had so many conversations with so many people throughout my life; every single one of those conversations were meaningful."

Age Seven
"Gio, why are you so slow?" Bittor yelled at his brother as he ran at top speeds. The two brothers had always been close, then at the age of seven Bittor adored his younger brother of five. Before long Gio had caught up with him and Bittor picked him up, spending him around in circles. "You're so precious." Laughing loudly the boys spent hours playing in the woods: playing hide and seek, climbing trees, and anything young boys do.

Age Eight
Alone in his room he sat at his desk, where he was typing up a story on a type writer his father had given him. He had been glued there for almost twelve hours straight. He may had been young, but the creativity stirring in his young body kept him from moving, he had to finish typing, he had to get every last word in his brain out onto paper. The idea was about a girl who had been kidnapped, the was something special about the girl, magically, and her father was going through all extremes to get her back. This idea, though small and undeveloped, had hit him hard and wouldn't let him go.

Age Fourteen
"I can't believe you did it, you published your first book!" His father was thrilled, wrapped tight arms around his son and held on. They were both so happy, his father was simply dripping with pride. They weren't the wealthiest of families, but once a company had agreed to publish the story the family found a way to get the money they needed. Bittor's book had been about the idea he had come up with at the age of eight, it had bee molded, shaped, and redefined. Before long the book was a hit, so many copies were purchased of the book Grace Hour.

Age Sixteen
For Bittor it was just another party like all the weekends before. Having the house to himself was amazing, it meant he could do whatever he wanted. "Here you go." He may have been completely out of it, but he could never forget deep smooth voice of his friend. "Aw, thank you, bestie." Taking the red cup from him he then chugged whatever it was quickly. The feeling of being drunk was always amazing to him, he loved how all the flashing lights mixed with the loud music made him feel. It made him wobbly and unstable, but he tried his best to dance and keep himself up right, "I think you need some rest." Maze's voice had a hint of a mocking tone in it, which made Bittor attempt to fight back, but that just wasn't working. Bittor was then gently laid onto the bed. "Thanks, you're a great friend." Watching his friend stand him he patted the bed to let him know it was okay to lay down. When he did Bittor rolled over on his side to face him and he did visa-versa. "You're so perfect, Cecily." Maze ran a hand through his friends hair, "Yeah, I know." The both shared a laugh, and before he knew it Marcus was kissing him, and in his state he kissed back.
***
When he woke up it wasn't exactly pleasant, he was hearing his friend crying. Springing up he grabbed him by the shoulder and turned him to face him. "What's wrong?" At first his friend didn't say anything, he just pulled the blankets off of him. Out of confusion he spoke slowly, "Why am I naked but you're not?" "I'm so sorry." His first reaction was of course to hold his friend and tell him everything was going to be okay, but his pride got in the way of that. "We're both guys as in we're male, so I don't know what you're problem is, but you need to leave!" Bittor spoke calmly and stayed calm, though he was annoyed. Maze got up quietly and left the house without another word. Bittor really wanted to follow him, but he couldn't, not after he had violated him like that.
***
It had been about a week since they had both talked, it was extremely annoying too. Sighing, Bittor caved. Picking up his cellphone he called Maze. "I don't understand why you haven't called me yet or texted or even showed up at my house. I'm pretty sure we've talked everyday to each other ever since we were like five, so I don't get why you haven't even tried talking to me yet. I would really like it if you came over, right now!" "Ok, I'll be over there soon." Hanging up the phone Bittor then smiled and waited for his friend to arrive.

Age Seveteen
"It's Gio." "What about him?" Maze asked as he took a seat next to Bittor on the bed and wrapped an arm around him. "He thinks he's gay." Sighing he let his rest on his friends shoulder, "What am I suppose to do? Do I take him to the hospital to get cured or something?" Maze pulled him in as he chuckled, "There's no cure, people find others attractive and love who they love." At the sound of that Bittor pulled away. "Being gay is so disgusting and I don't get it. It's revolting!" "I'm sorry that's how you feel about me." Maze calmly got up, he was always so calm no matter what. "What? Where are you going?" "If I repulse you that bad I'll just leave." Bittor shot up like a rocket from frustration. "But you don't, why are you thinking like that?" "I'm bisexual, I like guys, that makes me revolting too. In fact I've liked you for a long time and right now I like your brother-" The thought of Maze liking his brother made him jealous to the point where he punched him across the face. "You're right, I do fined you disgusting, just leave!" Like the last time Maze just left, but this time Bittor never called back, never texted, and rarely thought of him again. He wasn't comfortable with the confusion that drunken night had brought, but he was even more confused why the fact that he liked his brother made him react so strangely.

Age Nineteen
Bittor accepted his sexuality, learned the value of the words he spoke, and became more successful in his writing. At this age his next best seller was released: Agape. The story was about two boys in love, one accepted who they were while the other destroyed their relationship by despising who he was.

            Date: July 4, 2016

            Time: 7:14 P.M. Doors open at 8:00 P.M.

Occasion: Who doesn't love a good party? Especially the youths of the city. They're still young, they're allowed to have their fun. One might even say it's almost their duty to do so. Y'know, before life takes a hold with sharp talons and soul-sucking grip. They don't have forever to live. They might as well enjoy the time they've got. Genesis Carter, resident of the infamous apartment building on the corner of Pike's Place and Turnstone, seems to embrace this philosophy. At least, that's what one can assume given the massive rager she's arranged to have held for the fourth of July. What better opportunity to throw a great party? She's pulled out all the stops. Arranged entertainment for the event is local singer Malcolm Lewis, another resident of the apartment building. Plenty of people are invited to attend, and everyone in Seattle knows that when word gets out, more people than the ones initially invited manage to find their way into the party. But who cares, right? Everyone's just out to have a good time. Of course, all the residents of the host's apartment building are invited to attend, so shall we see what the night holds for them?

Location: The old warehouse down in the Station District. It's been a pretty popular location for parties recently.

Genesis was having a hard time containing her excitement. Today was the Fourth of July Bash. She had been planning this party for weeks. And it came together nicely. Though Genesis only invited the people living in the infamous building of Pike's Place and Turnstone, she had ordered enough food and rented a big enough party space for all of the extras. Anyone that was anyone had known this party was happening. She had even tweeted about it a couple of hours ago. So far she has endless retweets. Gen would not be shocked if this place was packed. She had even picked a famous party to make sure that people enjoyed their time. Her friends were insistent on trying to help her pay for everything. But she shut them all down. With her escorting job, paying for this was no big deal. She had worked everyday for the past two weeks just to pay for everything. She was going to need a break from escorting for a couple of weeks. One of them was way too aggressive and she needed to cover the bruises with makeup.

โ€Miss Carter?โ€ Genesis turned around to see one of the catererโ€™s calling out to her. He had the three cakes she had order. Each were red, white, and blue for the occasion. โ€Oh. You can put them over there.โ€ Genesis said as she pointed to the table. She had gotten the best catererโ€™s for both the food and the sweets. She was really hoping that Matthias and Parker liked it. They were chefs and very critical. They would probably be nice about it, but she would be able to tell by their face if it was horrible. So she was praying that everything was going to taste amazing. The cake was settled down and Genesis handed over the check. She waved goodbye and then checked cake off her list. Then she turned to the stage. Genesis had everything ready for her friend Malcolm to perform. This was a great way to get his name out there and it was free entertainment. She was not expecting him for a couple more minutes, since she had arrived an hour earlier than planned. Pulling out her phone she sent a quick message to Mal.

;Mal
Everything is all set up for you when you get here! And the cake arrived. Oh I am so excited!

The message sent and she started walking around to make sure everything was ready. She continued checking everything off her list. The only thing left were guests. The alcohol was stalked up. Not only for her sake, but for everyone else's. She was expecting at least half of her guest to have some alcohol. If not she would serve them to everyone herself. Speaking of alcohol, she would need a few drinks before people showed up. Waltzing over to the drink table, she opened some champagne. She poured herself a tall glass and started drinking. She pulled her phone back out. There were a couple more messages that need to be sent out.
;Parker
Better be dressed for this party! I worked too hard for you not to be here!

;Matt
Youโ€™re coming right? I know you donโ€™t like parties, but you to do this for me!

;Bittor
I hope you are taking me home tonight

Sitting on his bed he held a book in his hands. It wasn't unlike him to be reading while by himself, with him being a writer it just came naturally. So far the book had been interesting, the bad part about it was he didn't actually know the name of it. He had purchased it at a consignment store, it had been coverless with a few pages ripped out. Ever so often he'd get lost from the missing pages, but he tried his best to infer what was gone; so far he thought he was doing pretty good. "And so they set off to..." His voice traveled off as he turned the page, the adventure a bit spotty but still good.

A vibration next to him took his attention from the book. Sighing he placed a piece of paper to save his place and put the book on his nightstand. Picking up his he swiped right to unlock it. Quickly reading over the text from Genesis he smiled.

Genie

Hey, girly! Sorry for the late reply, got a little side tracked. After the party I'll be sure to bring you home, you can even stay the night with me if you'd like.

Lucky for him he didn't have to rush to change into clothes, he had dressed himself earlier that morning. He was wearing a pair of blue shorts and a pink t-shirt, nothing too fancy but enough to keep him cool this hot summer. Hopping out of bed he rushed into the bathroom to check himself over. Hair good? Check. Clothes good? Check? Including handsome? As always. Chuckling to himself he picked up a bottle of cologne and sprayed himself with just enough, he didn't want to smell bad nor did he want to smell like a middle school boy.

Before he knew it he was leaving the bathroom and making it out the front door, making sure to grab his car key from the key rack on the way out.

***

Parking his car took some time, finding a parking spot wasn't all that easy it seemed like all the good ones were taken. Soon he found a good enough spot, it would be a bit of a walk. Time for some exercise.

Getting out of the car he began his walk, it only took about two minutes for him to get inside the warehouse. As soon as he walked in he began his hunt for Genesis. "Exercise me, pardon me... I'm sorry. I'm so- hey! I said I'm sorry!" Some were just kind enough to move out of his way, others said sorry back, while a few were just plan rude. [i]Damn, some people are just so moody. Him being the calm person he was it didn't bother him too much, he just let it slide and continued his hunt.

"Finally!" As soon as his eyes landed on her she smiled. Making his way to her he pulled her into a hug. "Sorry I'm fashionably late, Genie."

Genesis loved the fact that she had a steady supply of alcohol. Well apparently so did everyone else. If everyone kept up the way everyone was drinking they would run out before the night is over. It only took one phone call to get more, but she was hoping that she wasn't in the mood for that. Then she would have to promise to another date and her weekend was already booked up for next week. So whatever alcohol they had, that needed to last for the rest of the party. Gen didn't really tell anyone when the party was over. She just figured people would start leaving after they become ridiculously drunk or completely exhausted. That had to be around midnight.

Out of no where, she was being pulled into a hug. For a moment she was confused, but then she recognized the person as Bittor. "Sorry I'm fashionably late, Genie." The hostess rolled his eyes. of course that was his excuse. She pulled from the hug. "Well you missed a great performance and you are missing out on all the good drinks." She said, gesturing to the open bar. Excusing herself from Parker and Matthias, she guided Bittor towards the open bar. "I'm assuming you are going to make this up to me later?" She said with a wink.

She started to get herself another drink. She was planning on walking at least half-wasted before leaving. If she got any more intoxicated past that, then she would not be a very good host. She handed a drink over to Bittor and took a sip of it from her own glass. "So tell me why you showed up so late. I know it wasn't spent getting dressed, since I have seen you get dressed and you manage to get it done in record time." Genesis teased.

โ€œOuch. How did you even live through the day without sleep? Holden shrugged and took another sip of champagne. He still doesn't even know how he is surviving on the few hours of sleep he had a few days ago. In fact he definitely needed deep sleep o be able to recover from his work. "But I love my job. And oddly enough the lack of sleep that goes with it." He joked taking another sip of his of his alcohol. Genesis was going to need a really big thank you for the fact that she had the best alcohol ever and threw the best party. But now he was going to have to beg Mal to play for him or share when his next performance. He had been looking forward to that. When Dana shared what made him late, Holden laughed a tad. "Horrible reason to be late, but I can't judge. I would kill for the nap you had." Holden said to him.

Dana got more alcohol and gave the EMT a half hug. Holden decided that he needed something stronger as well. He was definitely not going to be out drank by someone who doesn't drink that much. [b]โ€œLook on the bright side! If you hadnโ€™t promised Genesis, and dragged your butt to this warehouse, we wouldnโ€™t have had this splendid opportunity to discuss why we were late tonight!โ€ Holden laughed. "And what a splendid opportunity it is." He replied, clinking his glass with Dana's. After a moment, someone joined the two. Holden recognized him, but did not really know him. "And you're Lloyd Lexington." He said with a small smile, shaking his hand.

Dana answered for the both of them and he nodded. "Tired is almost an understatement."

Occasion: Who doesn't love a good party? The question was asked. And answered. Well, to some extent. No one from the apartment building on the corner of Pike's Place and Turnstone doesn't, that's for sure.

The initial performance by local singer Malcolm Lewis really set the ambiance for the rest of the night, which was pretty spectacular. Host Genesis Carter truly brought her A-game, with a phenomenal food and drink selection, and one of the best DJs in the city. Few frowns were seen throughout the night, as people enjoyed the good vibes within the warehouse, simply dancing and letting loose. But now it's time a second question.

Who actually cares for the day after a party? It sucks in more than one way. For instance, for those who drank much more than they could handle, the morning is accompanied by a pounding migraine. Others may have made some questionable choices whilst under the influence. Some drank responsibly enough, but it's still never fun to wake up after a night of great fun and have to return to a mundane life of normalcy. Just how are the residents of the apartment building getting on?
