Sam and her sister have a small birthmark on the back of their neck, it's shaped as a moon and it's barely visible, both her and her sister have the birthmark on the same spot. Sam has a small tattoo on her left shoulder that says, "never look back". She also has another tatoo on her neck that almost covers her birthmark.

Sam likes being independent and her personal thoughts on life are that of always seeing things coming, she often sees the worst possible scenario, others may call this pessimistic but Samantha calls it being cautious/careful. She likes to solve problems by instinct and logic rather than by feelings, but most often by instinct. She's socially awkward and find the idea of socializing with others... unsettling.
She always speaks her mind, especially when it is something that she considers unfair, this causes her to get in a lot of trouble ever since she was young. Once people get to know her she is an extremely loyal friend that would do anything to protect her friends. She's very passionate about everything she does and is extremely competitive. Unlike her older sister she has a very small group of friends. At first most people perceive Sam as a cold-hearted girl who doesn't have a care in the world, but as they get to really know her they discover that she is anything but. She's a vegetarian and she dislikes fake people the most.

History
The Sullivan's family grew up to be a dysfunctional family, Mr. Sullivan would often travel because of his job, and Mrs. Sullivan was a modern house-wive that refused to do house chores, instead she chose to work at her husbands company leaving both of her daughters in multiple child care's. Both parents were workaholics and Sam and Amy were left to fend by themselves at an early age, of course money was not an issue in their family, "so that's a plus right?" and their parents would buy anything that they wanted just to compensate their lack of parenting skills.
Believe it or not Sam used to be a popular child, in fact both her and Amy were quite popular at school until middle school where Sam's world was turned upside down. Before middle school Sam used to be be the popular girl that everyone wanted to talk with, boys were always after her despite their young age, but everything changed after middle school, where Sam's and Amy's parents got a divorce.
If Sam would have had the option to pick she would have left with her father, except there was the thing with his drinking problem, besides her mother fought for the custody of both daughters. Sam didn't quite cope well her parents divorce and would often feel depressed. In middle school Sam began to notice what fake friends are, because their dad was no longer supporting for the family they were no longer rich and children knew and mocked her about it, most of her friends didn't want to get bullied being their friends and walked always in her. Not only was Sam bullied because of her parents’ divorce, she was also bullied because she gained a lot of weight as a result of her depression. Even then their mother continued working, and was actually doing better at work and though at first they had economic problems, through several promotions she was able gain the same amount if not more than what her ex-husband did.

School became Sam's worst nightmare. Without mom around and after middle school Sam began losing a lot of weight, and she had an eating disorder as a result she was actually much under her ideal weight, you could have practically see my bones.

Despite the craziness of their divorce their father came back, at Amy's senior year in high school and Sam's sophomore year, and remarried her mother again.
Eventually through a healthy diet and a psychiatrist she was able to obtain a healthy weight. The bullying stopped at her high school years, but as a consequence she became socially awkward not trusting people and fearing of being bullied again. She would also often get in trouble in high school.

Sam is often playing with her feet, especially if her leg is over the other one, she is often rotating her lags around perpetually.
