Arawn's style is quite formal. He usually wears dark grey or black slacks, a button up shirt, vest, and sometimes a tie and/or jacket. He wears a comfortable pair of nicer shoes and he always carries around with him his medical bag. On days he is feeling lazy or more relaxed, he will wear a nice pair of dark wash jeans, sneakers, polo, and cardigan. He usually has a trimmed mustache and goatee.

PERSONALITY

Arawn is an easy going person who hates fighting more than almost anything. He accepts that the hunters he works for are going to, but he himself never wants to harm another being. Unless they deserve it but they'll only feel pain when he is stitching or fixing them up. He can usually be found hanging back and listening, however he will argue, play devil's advocate, or give an alternative point of view if asked or when he deems a situation worthy to speak up. He is loyal to a fault and would rather be painfully tortured than betray those he holds dear to his heart. He is an excellent keeper of secrets should anyone confide in him. Although he doesn't seem it, Arawn is a very touchy-feely person. He likes being in contact with people and gives hugs for almost anything. That doesn't mean though he will touch or hug anyone. He respects personal space and will wait until the other person gives him permission or they have been friends long enough that contact is acceptable.
He adores his field more than almost anything. Arawn will do anything and everything in his power to save someone from death. He won't give up until there is literally nothing more he can do. It has caused him heart ache and sometimes anger at the life the hunters choose when one of them dies in his care.

Role:
Healer for the hunters
Skills:
All things medical, keeping calm under pressure, steady hands, knives

HISTORY
Relationship Status:
Single at the moment
Family and Friends:
The hunters, his family died
Known Languages:
Gaelic, English, some Latin and Greek

Arawn Hart was born in Ireland and spent only five years of his life there. He grew up speaking both Gaelic and English in his home. When he was five his parents moved to the states as teachers at a university. Although he was fascinated by his mother's work (she was a folklorist), he had no interest in pursuing that or Philosophy. The magical world was hidden from him until a family of hunters crashed into The Hart house one day and saved them from a rabid werewolf. His parents filled him in after the event that they were researchers for the local hunting clan. While spending time with the hunters he found himself drawn to the medical aspect of the group. He learned much from the older doctor.
At the age of 15 his parents died in a car crash coming home from some scholar event Arawn managed to get out of. The Kurochi family took him in and he has lived with them ever since. He sees Shinon as a brother and is very protective of him. When Arawn was 17 he was in lab when a student's chemicals got mixed up and exploded. Since he was only a foot or so away the noise punctured his left eardrum and he became legally deaf. It took him a little while to adjust but now he has very little problems with his hearing loss. He now tends to stand on the right side so he can hear everything. That year was especially cruel and a few months later he was practicing knife training when his opponent went too far. The hunter in training slashed downwards and cut down the right side of his face. Arawn now has a scar cutting through his right eyebrow and down his eye where there is a gap before another one cuts through the side of his lips. After the incident, Arawn rarely helps anything other than hunters and a few animals that find their way to the house.
He finished medical school by the time he was 21 and was offered a job at a few different international hospitals but kindly declined and disappeared into the life of the supernatural. He is content where he is although he worries for his family.

Theme Song:

Rest now…..my warrior.

Rest now, hardship is over.

Live. Wake up. Wake up.

And let the cloak, of life – cling to your bones. Cling to your bones.

Meditative music could be heard coming from Arawn's room as he worked out. His morning routine consisted of waking up (duh), using the bathroom, working out for about a half an hour, eat, and then do work around the infirmary the hunter's had. Normally, he could go about this in a leisurely way, but today he was worried. Shinon was going to talk to the mayor today about the werewolf problem in the surrounding area. War would soon break out like all other times and honestly Arawn hated it. He wasn't a fan of werewolves (no one was, especially most if not all hunters), but he secretly felt there could be some sort of truce between humans and werewolves. Call him an optimist but deep down he believed it. But another battle would occur and he'd support the hunters like all the other times.
Getting up from finishing his rep of push ups, Arawn stretched a little and went to shower. Once clean of all sweat, he quickly dressed and went to eat a hearty breakfast of eggs, toast and tea. He had just finished his plate when the surrounding hunters all whipped out their phones and looked at a message. Shinon needed them. He would wait here until he was needed and keep the infirmary fully stocked and ready just in case any hunter met up with a wolf.

" well im glad we were able to talk this throught now I'll go ahead and call my two most trusted hunters they'll arrive ahead but with them we should hold out " he said as he looked at the phone everyone answer on their way he dial the call " i need you two to come, now is a pack the one we found two weeks ago this is going to be messy " he said as he started to made his way back to his room and tap his sword for good luck. He arrived at the room and used his old paranoia tactics wolf bane on the door fames and his girl on his lap ready to strike. He knew there was bound to be at least one wolf in twon scout or rogue and the town preparing with wolf bane and silver weapons would surely strike them with fear.

Arawn sighed, Shinon could be so cryptic sometimes. Cradling his phone against his shoulder he called his brother as he packed for a bloody battle. "If you need me please tell me where to go. I may be a hunter but I'm not a fighter thus saying any tactical advantage point is not going to work for me. Where do you want me exactly?" He waited for an answer. Honestly, Shinon should know by now to be specific with him. He wasn't a mind reader or the mythical Locator for heavens and earths sake. His eyes scanned the room for anything else he might need, but found nothing.

" i guess you gus are still together huh ? Sorry i was a bit distracted remember the town just before the rock fort, is about a day down the road our base up north but i know i can count you and her to be here quickly " he said as he threw a ball up and down " listen i cant give you much details, not over the phone but once you get here keep alow profile, there is suits here " he said before hanging up he sighted suit meaning the goverment, they had hired the hunters to keep the wolf away but for their own selfish purpose the goverment now days was a bunch of rich assholes who would had entire gardens of wolf banes in their towns while small towns like this rotted, the suits had one agenda it was to kill the werewolves so they could take over, even though they provided weapons but they believe themselves the owners of the hunters like if the were so lap dogs. Shinon had kept them separate but money and promises of power had shaken some hunters thats why shinon only trusted two hunters and spoke in riddles at best, he smiled and pulled out a small cigarette he didnt smoke but the feeling was there everytime it touched his lips he took a photo of the massive church outside town and send it to the other two in order for them to find it " remember we are the scouts so lets keep this one on the DL for now the rest of the legion will arrive a day or so if we are lucky we wont need them and the werewolves will move on then again its been three months since a werewolf attack my blade is growing dull" he sended the text and waited tonight was going to be a long night.

Really, why does no one ever say goodbye? Arawn shook his head when Shinon hung up. Letting the phone slide off his shoulder and land gracefully in his hand, he headed out into the house. He found all the hunters preparing to leave. There you are. He found Shinon's second in command strapping the last of her equipment to herself. "Ready? Shin told me where to go." She nodded and they headed out into the garage where Arawn's specially designed bike waited for them. It was silent and made for offroading so he could get around places without making noise and alerting wolves where he was. Shinon's second curled her arms around Arawn's waist and in seconds they were off.
His bike's speed reached up to 90mi/hr. What should have taken him a day to reach only took the pair half the time. He easily weaved between road and dirt, avoiding all objects in his way. When they were about an hours walk from where Shinon was, the pair hid the bike and started on foot. "Only spray this on highly scented areas and not a lot, this stuff can kill you." The Second rolled her eyes as she sprayed the wolfbane mixture on her. They started the trek and by dinner they reached Shinon's hideout.
"What now, Shin?" Arawn asked once his friend opened the door.

" its a small reunion i thought i should tell you before the others got here, remember the rock fort well, it was hit hard we were pushed back really back no one survive killed a couple infected but others were just slaughter" he said digging on his pocket for a small picture he put the picture on the table " remember him" he said pointing out the wolves alpha they had encounter a while back "Well our friend here was being held there just before the attack then, puff like magic his cage breaks and the whole fort goes into panic mean while his buddies come from outside and in the middle of the commotion they kill everyone." He sighted and the put his cigarettes on the table and slammed his hand into the table as well squeezing them " those monster killed them all and infected a few but here comes the kicker guess who was there collecting the bodies, suits which tells me they either plan the attack or know something we didnt" he said passing back and forth like maniac he did his thinking like this " now i see the same alpha and his pack and i follow them to this girl, crazy she left when i was trying to help but guess what they wanted her, i took one down and he still ignore me, now what does this town has to do with it?" He said as he crack his knuckles and pointed at the bar across the street " there is bound to be a wolf right here anything that wants to live comes to our base or here now this is the only human place since we lost rock fort, which means if the girl is alive and if the wolves want to feed it has to be here" he said as he sat down and motion to the picture again " now this town is going to die the legion of hunters will be here to pick up corpses but thats a small price for what we are going to do" a smile grew on his face he pointed at them " you two are the only ones who know about this, now you are wondering why right well, because we are going to lay a trap, this town is going to be attack withing the next two days we are going to make sure the trap is done before tomorrows sunset, this " he said pulling out a small bottle " is wolf bane extracts mixed with silver flakes on drink of this and wolves are pretty much dead, but to make the drink it is ridiculous thats where you come in Arwie i want your knives bathed on this, so when our lovely companion and me lure the bastard near you just aim for the neck, we are done being sheep for slaughter humanity will live on!!!" he said as he looked at the two probably a bit confused " yeah is a big plan but any concerns I'll address soon for now " he said giving both a hug " i missed you, its been weeks hasnt it sorry i missed our parents anniversary " he said a bit solemn he couldn't join the mourning of their parents.

Arawn's blood ran cold as he listened to the story. He wasn't a fan of the gov to begin with but what Shinon just explain sounded sketchy. He'd never trust them now. When his friend started explaining his plan, once again Arawn's stomach bottomed out. Shin wanted him to do what? He knew Arawn hated killing.
Before he had time to protest, Shinon had his arms around him. Giving in, this was a hug and his brother after all, Arawn hugged back. It had been a while for both.
"Don't worry, we can have a remembrance for them after this is taken care of." He smiled before growing serious. "Shin, you know I will follow you through Hell and high waters, but please don't ask me to kill. You know I hate that and I swore an oath when I became a doctor. I will do anything. [b]Anything.[/i] For you, but please do not make me kill. Protecting myself is one thing, hell even protecting you but I do not consciously want to kill another creature even if it is a werewolf. I will act as bait if I must." His eyes pleaded with his bother.

" I knew you would react this way, I wish I didn't have to ask this of you but if we both are bait there is a strong chance one of us wont make it" he said a bit solemn he turned to his second in command " I'm confident you would kill them not problem but I need your skills, if it were one or two I could do it alone but I need someone to keep some of them off" he said as he turned back to the table " you could of been leader you had the aptitude the will and the skill, then you turn it down and I get made the leader" he laughed and looked at Arawns" hell I even placed lower than you why would they make me leader a drive to kill all of them and hatred to back it up is not leader material" he said with small sight and then turned to arawn " if we cant kill them then we need to get the hell out of the here, and we risk loosing more of the population " He said as he slammed his hand on the table " we are down to the last 20% of the population we use to have, we lost so many and we continue to lose them at this rate they would completely wipe us out " he sat down his hands on his face " if only dad was here maybe we could have saved more " he said as he was taken back to their training days " back then all i was, a young brash kid who only wanted to kill all those beast, you were the perfect pacifist talking your way out of things, and if you couldnt i would try to help only to get my face busted " he said with a smile and the he was punched in the shoulder by the second in command " idiot " she whisper " i never asked you to baby sit me you know i think the front lines and the other hunters around the world could have used you'll help more " he said as he stopped and sighted " there is another choice but is rather slim with the amount of time we have and just the three of us " he said as he looked at the map" right now fort rock is abandoned only bloody mess remains but the weapons traps and everything we need to retake it still there " he said as he looked out of the window " we could move the people there but without confirmation of zero wolf activity as well as just us to man the defences we would be just.sittimg cattle in a pen if we took them there, and the Hunter regiment wont arrive till tomorrows sunset " he said trying to figure something out.

"Do we need to fight the wolves right away?" Arawn asked as he leaned against the wall. "The town as been safe so far. If we can postpone a fight until the other hunters come and quietly smuggle the townspeople out without the wolves knowledge it will be a lot safer. It'll give us time to check out the fort without an army to alert them of our plan. We still have our hunters at the ready for you to give them further instructions."

Living in this hell hole world was going to make Arawn die faster than being attacked. With how often his sympathetic nervous system works, he's surprised he hasn't had a heart attack yet. He looked at Shinon sadly as he hugged his brother and best friend farewell until they meet again. Until the threat was taken care of or the hunters came, he and the Second would take care of the town people. Arawn handed Shinon his last bag and watched as he left for the fort. The pair left behind waited until Shin was out of sight before heading back to town. It was late so they hurried silently through the forest towards the location of his bike.
It was nearing midnight when they finally rolled into town. As the Second scanned for anything suspicious, Arawn kept his eyes forward. He jabbed her lightly with his right elbow and jerked his head to the left. There walked a woman aimlessly holding a sword. With a nod, they sped up and Arawn quietly called, "Hey Miss, you okay?"

Arawn watched her carefully. He knew the smile was forced, but could not tell what she was thinking. Nonetheless he said, "Keep that sword close, but you should either find another town to wander in or stick close to us." He gestured between himself and the Second. "Fighting is coming. This place will soon be flooded with wolves and hunters. We are trying our best to protect the townspeople and get them to safety, but war won't hold out long. Hunters are already on their way to gather here." He looked to Second whom nodded to his silent question. "If you want, you can follow or hop on the bike. We'll get you to somewhere safer than the streets."

"We can always use the help." Arawn nodded at her. "My name's Arawn and I'm the medic to the Kurochi Hunters. We should get to a safer house before we get caught." He stood up so there was more room for the young woman. Once she was seated, he drove off. The Second tapped him on the shoulder and pointed to a house that seemed relatively safe to enter. With a nod, he hid his bike and the trio prepared to enter. "Ready?"

Stepping outside on the sidewalk, Laavi sniffed the air; he could smell a few humans in the damping dew. A car had passed by ten minutes ago and a cat was nearby. His head turned quickly towards the scent of the cat and his eyes widened, but he suddenly had to step away for a gang of kids driving their bikes. A ten year old kid with growing blonde hair slowed down and stared at the hairy man. Laavi squinted at first, but gave the kid a weak smile as he reminded of himself at that age, only this one was thinner. The kid hurried off to his friends further down the rode. Laavi huffed and shook the hunger away. Cat's didn't make much of a feast anyway, nor did kids. He didn't know if those thoughts or the hunger made him nausea. Turning to look in the other direction, Laavi saw an empty road and the sun starting to warm it. Not many people lived out here, but just enough not to make it a deserted neighborhood.

Laavi thought of how things had evolved more and more into a human civilization through the years, and he liked it. He'd never lived among humans until reaching the continent of the west and entering the newly evolving community here. The humans entertained him with their daily lives, and as he liked to feast more on animals than the homo sapiens, he felt more at home with them rather than with the packs eating them. Pretending to be among the humans and playing and singing all night long, as a wolf should do in Laavi's philosophy, he was happy. Actually, as of now; both humans and werewolves struggled to survive and deep within his heart he hoped humans and werewolves could live side by side one day, but he knew that was hard or even impossible.

Laavi put his hands in his pockets and bent his gaze to the sky dreaming his thoughts away to the future, and he missed his passed away family in Norway. He pictured them buried deep within the merciless frost of winter which had attacked them so fast both on land and sea. It was rather different from the warm sun he felt on his skin at the moment. His tummy twirled and he got a little dizzy. He had to eat today.

((OOC: I am very confused at how or where things and creatures are, so I've tried to mix everyone's interpretations of how this world function in my post. I've made the town Laavi's living in as of one growing human community, that will explain the mayor and the hunters' organisation(I hope), with werewolves in undercover and roaming in an underworld community. Kind of like toying with humans like vampires did in Anne Rice's vampire chronicle..."Playing with our food," I was imagining the town Laavi is in as the town everyone is approaching. I didn't get any response from the OOC chat, so I post here. What do you guys think? Is it ok with a world of 70% werewolves and 30% humans increasing because the werewolves needs them to grow in numbers to be able to survive? I am tagging those I tag because I believe they are the ones closest to meet Laavi. Again, this is a suggestion I have. Please respond to what you have in mind or think.))

"I don't know." Arawn grinned as Second slipped away to scope out the building. The town was slowly growing in human population but many buildings were still empty. His eyes swept over the landscape and his one good ear took in all (at the human level anyway). When the Second tapped him on the shoulder she gave him a nod. Carefully and quietly, he picked the lock and entered the abandoned building.
He wandered about the place, but wasn't at ease. Feeling restless, he looked over at the two girls and nodded, "I'm going to scope out the area. I don't feel comfortable not knowing this place. The Second will keep you safe, she is technically in charge now." He grinned as the Second huffed out a laugh. "Be careful." He slipped out and went exploring. The sun was slowly rising as he watched a few kids ride by before seeing a man sway a little. He jogged over, he couldn't let someone possibly hurt alone. "You okay sir?" When the man looked at him he saw the flash of the tapetum lucidum in the were's eyes. Instinctively his muscles locked up and his senses went on high alert, but he tried to breathe through it. Cautiously he asked, "You okay?" He didn't like werewolves, he'd seen too many die but a small part of him still believed that they were human.

((OOC:I'm fine with your idea, I think it'll enable the werewolves and hunters to interact.))

Laavi had walked carelessly for a while and was in deep thought when the back of his mind noticed a couple or more humans nearby. The daze in front of his eyes were disrupted by one of them, a man apparently, who came suddenly asking of his condition. The hairy blonde took a long while before answering with his hands in pockets and relaxed body. He saw the man flinch at a new attained knowledge, and as the man decided to ignore whatever made his heart beat, Laavi's voice spoke deep and skeptic; "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" his mouth curled in a little smile behind his smooth beard and his eyes moved curiously around the shape of the man.

"You swayed a little just now. Can't ignore something like that." Arawn gave the man a crooked grin. "It's ingrained at this point to help others. But you're sure you're okay?" He had an inkling why this man faltered as he did, it wasn't very often a werewolf showed any weakness intentionally. The man was either hungry or intoxicated. From the way the man didn't smell, Arawn had to assume the former. Silently he prayed he wouldn't be the man's next meal. Although he secretly believed not all werewolves wanted to kill every human on earth, he was no dreamer and knew many would if given the chance.

As the man spoke, Laavi swallowed and could almost feel the blood run down his throat as it soared in the man's soft flesh right in front of him. The bubbly releasing sensation, it was so fragile, and his mind twirled. It didn't help that the small pieces of dried meat he'd eaten earlier worked more as a tease rather than satisfaction. Praying on animals had been scarce too, for several reasons. Holding him back from the man though, was a rather horrid memory associated with hunger; when arriving this land, Laavi had almost died of it and vomited the first time preying on a human all those years ago. The young werewolf had never gotten used to the flesh of homo sapiens; for him the man was like a delicious cake one would expect tasting like sugar and cream, but experience foretold the disappointment of salt and bitterness. He also didn't like the smell of this one, so what the long haired Norwegian did was to draw his gaze away and step aside to walk further from town. "I'm fine, thanks. Have a good day," he replied dryly with an awkward grin and a playing nod of his head as he smoothed his way to the side with hands in pockets.

He nodded. If the man says he's fine, he probably is. As the man started walking away, Arawn called quietly, "Be careful. Don't do anything stupid." He gave the man a final grin before turning and walking away. Those two sentences tended to be Arawn's farewell to anyone he knows. A hint of seriousness for the first sentence and a way to be more light hearted for the latter. However this time the last part held a sort of warning in it. He got the feeling the man was a little different than most werewolves, hell he could have mauled Arawn at any point but didn't. So he gave a warning to the strange wolf. If he gave heed to it, excellent. If not, well Arawn's hunters would probably meet up with the wolf soon and Arawn would have to fix the broken.
He continued on his way to scout out the town more. His head actually bobbing back and forth as if to a tune in his head. In reality, he was listening to the world around him. He'd learned over the years how to compensate for his deaf ear. So far very few realized he was partially deaf and if people thought he was crazy for having tunes in his head, well he was more than happy to let them think that.

Laavi lifted his hand sloppily in farewell and slapped it to his side when turning to leave. He hoped to sniff out a big animal today or the coming night so he could focus more on the music and his friends in the city. He thought about the weird feeling of something in the air and smiled wryly at the thought of it. He liked surprises, it meant action and adventure, though he hoped he got to eat first.
