"She thought she could take MY kingdom! HAH! We'll show that goody little Queen exactly what she's messed with, and THEN who'll be living in this ruin of a castle?!" Queen Grimhild screamed at the ceiling.
"That's all very nice," Sibyl said, "But we don't even know if this will work..."
"Of course it will!" the Queen snapped, glaring into her mirror, "Don't tell me you doubt me now..."
"Of course not!" Sibyl said quickly, pulling back from her pool and looking away from the deathly stare the queen was giving her. "I'm just saying we've never been able to test this, and it was pure luck that I was able to make contact in the first place..."
"Ah, but you didn't have me, my dear," the Queen cackled, "I can assure you; as long as you keep your connection active, this curse will coat the land with my wrath."
"But how will we know if it worked?" Sibyl asked.
"Don't worry; I've got that all worked out. Listen to me..."

"Yes, I know it is, you overexcited prissy. Your man just arrived and made a mess of my chambers," the Queen hissed back at her, "I have to deal with this, hold on a minute."
Sibyl hurriedly spoke into the bowl, "Don't hurt him. He hasn't done anything wrong, you know. You're not going to-" The queen returned to her mirror.
"Don't worry, Miss Volur. Everything is fine. He'll be well taken care of," the Queen lied. "Now, I want you to make sure Cain doesn't get the word out about this in your world. Now that the barrier's open, people will start finding themselves face-to-face with a world they've never known. If they trace it back to you, there's no chance for our plan to go through. You can't let him gather any of the other tranferences."
"But..." Sibyl protested.
"Do what you have to do," the Queen hissed, before turning and leaving the mirror. Sibyl grimaced, before turning to the man standing opposite her.
