To the Great North Winds, awakes The Crimson Monk. His blood is going out of control and slowly ripping him apart. This can only means that the Blood Moon is here and will be at full strength. When the moon is highest in the sky, the cloudless night gives him full access to all the secrets in his body. He purges himself and begins to suspend his blood in midair. Forming the ball, using it as a spear, and making it coagulate into a solid. Just as soon as the Monk finishes his lunge and Takeo finishes lunge at the thugs, a rift between their worlds has opened and they have both entered a strange new world.

Takeo is wondering something along the lines of, where the hell am I, why am I here, but its none of the above. Instead he is wondering why on Earth is he on a mountain pavilion about the size of a courtyard and the worst is, it is snowing with summer clothes on. Just as soon as he got to be acquainted with his new surroundings, an essimary came to him about a job. Takeo protested this and said "I am not who you think I am". The essimary said "I know who you are you are an assassin and this is your target for your pay; good day." This entire evening he thought was too crazy to sort out without sleep and wanted to think about this situation another day.

Nathan was thrown uncerimoniously out of the castle. Crawling to his feet he looked about him in both confusion and concern. Turning back he saw the decrepit place he was just ejected for and had to suppress a shudder. Turning back to the forest in front of him he sighed and said to himself, "Well Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."

Nathan wandered through the forest, staggering over roots and through bushes. He eventually came upon a clearing dotted with farms. Making his way to the small village on the far side of the clearing. He walked along a lane, passing several locals dressed in what he assumed to be early Victorian-esque type farmer's outfits. They stared at his more modern clothing and he returned his own in kind. Reaching the town he saw what appeared to be a vendor of some kind.

Walking up to the man he asked, "What town is this?"
The vendor looked at him and took in his clothes saying, "We go's lot'sa folks he'e I ne'er seen youse afore."
Nathan wincing at the utter butchery of the English language, "I am not from around here, would you tell me where the nearest...inn is?"
"Do'n tha ways a bit. teh boar's 'ead."
Nodding and thanking the man he said his thanks and headed toward the inn in question.

The inn was a rowdy place. From outside one could hear the sounds of people singing in their drunken stupor and boisterous laughing. Just outside the inn there were a few minor brawls taking place, but nothing that wasn't out of place for a bar in Atleos. Every now and then a serving girl came in and out of a side door of the inn, obviously in a hurry. Smaller fires were lit outside in the late afternoon and evening and people sat, sometimes slept around them. The interior was well lit and the large number of patrons were clearly visible from the outside. All in all, it was a busy, lively place.

Nathan pretended to clear out his ears and muttered, "didn't have to shoot the messenger lady."

Taking note of the coin being used around him to pay for the mead he turned and returned to Wulph, "Alright buddy, that'll cost you ten copper coins."

Wulph looked down at the spindly man and grumbled, "Ahm not payin' ya! tha' mes-sa-ges wa' bad! Ahm payin' for goo' ser'ic."

The companions of the big man looked at him as though he had grown a third eye when he said he wouldn't pay. Nathan noticed the reaction and praying to whatever god existed in this dimension said, "Are you not an honorable man? I delivered your message now pay me for my service!"

Wulph gulped at the mention of honor and wordlessly and pulled out a coin purse. Not even bothering to look at the coins he was pulling out, he grabbed a handful and handed them to Nathan. The Big Bad Wulph then walked out of the inn with his metaphorical tail between his legs. Looking at the coins he saw about three copper, six silver, and a gold coin. Smiling he walked over to the bar and asked the barman for a glass of whisky.

The barkeep slid a tankard of something over to Nathan. It didn't look like whiskey, but it did smell strongly of alcohol. The liquid sloshed over the edge as it arrived at Nathan, dripping down the side of the room temperature glass, "Tha'll cost ya two silver." He held out his hand.

The barkeep rubbed a cloth over the counter of the table, soaking up the overflow from the tankards, "New around here, eh?" He slid the cloth into a blanket, "This is a tradin' post. The roads all meet 'ere so there are lots of people comin' and goin'. Closest town to 'ere is Ethanova City, though, most of these folks are from other places. Far away places, long journeys from othe' countries. Not many people live 'ere all the time, its a lil' bit o' a tough place. It used to by an outpost for Prydain. But its a dead city."

Someone from across the room shouted, "'EY! Bartender! We wan' another roun'!" He shouted back, "You got it!" Bending down he took out several glasses and began to fill them to the brim with alcohol. Some spilled over on to the floor but the Bartender didn't seem to care. As soon as he was done he called a barmaid over and handed her the tray, "Tha' table over there," he said pointing.

Nathan nodded his head, watching the barmaid work. He turned back to the barkeep after a moment and asked him, "How long would it take to reach the castle? Oh, and any suggestions for supplies?"

He returned to his original spot behind the counter, "Lookin' for the Queen, eh? It should take 'bout two days, dependin' on how fast you go. Might want a horse, bread and water flask for starters..."

Markus walked through the pouring rain. The streets of Barely had been reduced to little more than wet mud. The noonday sun was hidden behind dark, grey clouds as the sky continued to release its torrent. The Grimm was on his way to the town hall of the sleepy little village. As he walked we noticed that there were old men and women, children and infants but not a soul between the ages of sixteen to thirty. A classic sign of the predators he'd come here to hunt. He reached the town hall and reached his hand to grasp the handle when his body went numb then began to tingle inexplicably. He felt as f his world was falling away from him then found himself in a small room room. What looked like a home of some sort. He rushed to the window to look out and nearly shouted form shock. Below him was a city of stone with mechanical constructs racing around on wheels. So many people strolled the streets in odd clothing in an chaotic yet perfectly timed dance of lights that ushered them across the streets. Markus took several steps back in shock and ran his hand through his wet hair.

"What realm is this?"

The barkeeper scoffed, "Lightweight," Filling up another tankard with a slightly less think mixture he began to talk about the vendors, "You' find down that way," he pointed behind him as he slid the tankard over to Nathaniel, "there's a nice guy nam'd Edgar. He'll get ya' sorted out," he held his hand out for silver for the drink.

#, as written by LSunday
Gluck looked up from the table, where he was discussing the town's affairs, at the man who had clumsily entered the hall. He stood from his position and looked at the man. He was dressed as if from a strange land, and looked incredibly confused. Gluck beckoned for one of the servants standing around, "Thomas, please take this man somewhere he can be warm," he moved to the man, "I have a few issues I have to deal with. Thomas here will take you to a room, and we will see what we can do for you. I have to take care of a few things first, but I'll stop by to see you as soon as I can."

Thomas hurried to follow Gluck's instructions, and hurried over to the man, "Follow me, sir." He lead the man back outside into the rain, and led him across the town into the bar. He moved up to the barkeeper, "Do you have any rooms available?"

Nathan chuckled at the hormonal young man on his side. Taking a swig of his mead he turned to the other American. "Far as I can tell we seem to be in a land of... Legends I guess. I've been wandering around for a while, after I got chucked out of a castle by some ugly broad. Seriously ugly." Nathan shivers. "Moving on. I got called into my boss's office back in n York and she asks me to hold a bunch of random crap and then poof! I'm in the land of dungeons and dragons. The ugly broad must have been a witch or something like that, this place is so freaky I would believe it. I'm heading to the queen's palace as soon as I get some supplies, see if she can help."

Nathan looked at the soldier, sizing the man up. He was hard and Nathan would need all the help he could get on the road. He swung around, saying as he did, "The way I see It, this is a land of Legends as I said. So there is going to be a good Queen and a Bad Queen, and I met some ugly bitch a few hours ago that lived in a castle...so evil Queen. I figure if this world is as easy as I think it is then in the other direction is the good queens place."

Nathan then told the man the preparations he had made to begin his journey and that they still needed rations and a wagon.

-Everything here is strange and unappealing, I have found two rats under my bed and a cockroach in my soup. I shall count the days until I get to see my you and my sisters. Warn Tabitha and Paulina not to go through my closet and steal my shoes again. Do not let Rathio go out alone to the river with her horse. Tell Idaline and Nadine, Safrina and Selene to stop playing tricks on those strollers and make Etaine and Samantha help along. They're only 11 and 9 for heaven's sake. Seeing two pairs of twins near the cottage will give them nightmares. Remind Cecelia and Ethelisa to practice their instruments because I feel as I might want to hear them play when I return. I must go now. By the time you read this letter, I will hopefully be on my journey home so do not bother to send a letter.

Love,
Ofayle

With the curve of her pen, she ended her letter. She had not bothered to even read it for she knew there was nothing wrong. She put it in an envelope, sitting in an inn. The Queen had called her father to the castle but alas, he was ill so she would go in his place. She was the eldest, a Lady in her own right with a sword on her side. No one dared to move closer to her much to her confusion. For a night, she stayed in the inn as her horse needed a well-rest. She wasn't far from the castle, noticing it on the hill last night. After paying for her meal, room and sending her letter, the young woman left to ride into the Queen's castle.

Despite being a Lady in title, she had hardly seen her father leave the cottage for the castle ever since her mother's sudden disappearance. Her father fell ill for quite some time. Her sisters and her had never left the castle but she was up to the challenge. She listened to her father closely, follow the path and never leave. The Queen had called for her father so abruptly, they couldn't ready the carriage yet. She left that day with her family hugging her.

The weather has been extremely dreary for the past few days and Ofayle had thought it would be different in the castle. She was wrong. By the time she saw the castle, the sky had turned dark as if it was about to rain. She gave her horse to a stable, paying them in a few gold coins. In her leather boots, she made her way over to the castle of Queen Miranda. Halfway through, a guard stopped her. He looked at her suspiciously, noticing her dirty boots, dark cape and hugging clothes.

"I am Lady Ofayle of the Zwolfe family. I am here on behalf of my father, Duke Hugh who is ill. The Queen has called for him and I am taking his place."
