Setting
the smell of chamomile and honey suckle replacing the stench of garbage and inner-city smog.
as his eyes open, and his vision begins to clear he starts to see the beauty of the nature around him.
"what is the heck?" Thomas said quietly to himself as he sat up.
"Where am I?.. Oh God, the bench in the park! I'm dead, some gang stabbed me or something!"
Patting himself to feel if he was really there, he quickly turned his head to look around.
just then a sharp twinge of pain shot through his nick from the crick he got from laying on his back pack.
"Agh! Dang that hurt!. Guess I'm not dead after all.
Trying to make sense of the situation Thomas looks over his cloths which are strangely cleaner then when he fell asleep.
Fallowing his sleeves he comes to his hands and realizes something strange.
"ok, hand still there, all five gingers, tan fur, paw pads. Everything seems ok..wait, WHAT?!"
Quickly pulling up his sleeves he sees that he is covered in a fine velvety fur.
beginning to panic he starts to pat around himself and finds that he also has a white bushy tail, and rabbit ears.
"Ok, this can't be real. I must be dreaming or something..right? of course I'm right!"
Pinching himself over, and over again he realizes that this isn't a dream.
"What is going on here?!" he shouted with only the echo of the field to answer him.
when the echoing stopped all Thomas decided he would check his back pack for anything that could give him a clue to what happened, or what he could do to fix it.
*zzzzziiip* "Everythings still here. Nothings missing or changed."
With a heavy sigh Thomas picks one of the flowers and sits down to think.
Holding his heart and panting Thomas "Jeez, you surprised me."
Looking up he noticed girl looking rather surprised herself.
"ee heheh.. sorry about about that.. I kinda startle easily when I'm thinking.
taking a good look at her Thomas realized that she, much like him, had ears and a tail.
Standing up and walking in a quick circle around her he began to mutter "looks like Vulpine of the canine family."
seemingly lost in his scientific jargon Thomas suddenly pops his head up, and scratches between his ears " I guess I'm not the only like this huh?"
As the got to the path he could see a village off in the distance.
Thomas decided that maybe there he could get some answers.
But at the same time he couldn't help but wonder what she meant by "Second life."
Still, what did he have to lose.
but remembering that he is far from a lady's man he quickly shook it off.
When she pointed to the box in the ally he was a little shocked to see it, when everyone else seemed to have nice homes.
A little relieved to hear her laugh and tell him she was only kidding.
When they got to the town square all of the movement and animal people were so overwhelming Thomas had a hard to taking it all in.
Once Charlie ran into the store and Thomas was alone, he looked around to see a lot of children and elderly villagers staring at him.
just as he was starring back he remembered-"my pack!. I can't just leave that girl though."
with another sigh he loosened his back tie and sat on the curb of the street outside the store.
"Still, This is a pretty beautiful town.
some of the treats he couldn't even recognize, but had Charlie to explain them to him.
He could help but snicker at the rascally rabbit line.
When she asked him to "go to her place" he felt reluctant at first but then came to the understanding that it was probably the best idea.
on the way out the door Thomas saw more children starring at him and it made him remember what brought him to that park bench in the first place.
This idea of a cruel world made him bluntly ask "If you don't mind me asking... why are you being so nice to a stranger?"
"M, me?." he fumbled " Well.. I taught as a teachers aid at 18, and got my license at 19.. that would make me 22 I guess.."
He paused for a moment "Wow, did I forget to celebrate the past three birthdays? No, 4!? "
off in the distance he could hear the music from a parade and could smell the bread from the bakery.
looking back at Charlie he noticed she was still starring at him but all he could blurt out was- "I uh.. I guess I..I really am not dead.. or at least in heaven"
Realizing he just said that out loud he smacked his forehead as if he should have had a v-8 and blushed.
It was so much nicer then the slum his teachers budget made him live in.
Taking the glass in hand he spun the juice around a little unsure of himself.
Finally he spoke up.
" I guess where am I is a dumb question, so I'll go straight to the heart of the matter."
motioning like he was pushing up his glasses he realized he didn't have, or even need them.
Stunned for a moment, he then continued. "a..at any rate, How did I get here? the last thing I remember my life had just fallen apart and no one would even look at me. I was laying on some dirty park bench cold and terrified of the street lights going out.. Then this rabbit came out of nowhere with her babies.. Something about a sandwich.."
Rubbing his forehead he spoke more bluntly "Then I wake up all of a sudden and in a beautiful field of flowers with a beautiful fox girl popping out of nowhere to say hi!" Resizing he was he said was rude he tried to back peddle "I'm sorry, what I mean is.. I'm human, I'm not suppose to be here.. or a rabbit for that matter."
((Goodnight rply in the morning))
He had never been in a girls room as pathetic as that seemed to him.
He walked in and sat down on the bed, which was amazingly soft and fragrant.
" Another world ?" He spoke softly as to not wake Charlotte.
"Magical animals.. Can this really be real?"
Laying his head back down on the pillow he Starred at the sealing wondering how he could rationalize all of this with science.
His eyelids began close he thought to himself "Am I really going to sleep in the bed of a girl I just met?... I guess it wouldn't be the strangest thing of my day."
Loosening his tie all the way and folding his ears down to a comfortable position, Thomas began to dose.
Just before falling asleep, when all his science, and facts of the human world seemed unimportant he whispered to himself.
" If this really is a dream...Please God, don't wake me up .. Not yet ."
And with that Thomas fell asleep, as cute as...well, a bunny. http://www.rubberslug.com/user/663bc4bbb93d41488adfce3777490969/623530-5308649-TM_28F.jpg
(( I am having lots of fun! been so long sense I was able to RP. oh and goodnight))
(( Be at work till about 9PM but will be on tomorrow for sure))
However, as Aida knew well, Charlotte was normally up at this time so Aida wandered up the red road towards her friends' house. When she reached the big pink house, she knocked three times and shouted,"Charlie?! Hey Charlie, it's me! Aida!"
((Sorry its' not that long guys!))
((Sorry if I sound desperate but it's kinds cuz I am. Can any of you plz join my other rps Journey to the Lost Lands and Restoration? Journey needs someone to play Shikina and in Restoration I need the other siblings. Thanks and sorry))
She pulled on a long black T-shirt and shorts, then made her way downstairs for breakfast. Realising that she had nothing to eat, she sighed and made her way back to her room, where she fixed her hair, tieing it into a high ponytail, and put on her socks and boots, before rushing down the stairs once more, and out the door, grabbing her coat.
She put it on, then looked up. The day was sunny, but it was pretty windy, which slightly bothered her.
As Jinky made her way to the shop, she noticed Kato sitting on a bench, and waved at him. She skipped over to the feline's location. "Morning, Kato! How are you today?" She asked brightly.
He could hardly believe what had happened, really happened.
Sitting up, he took a good hard look around the room to make sure everything was just as it was before.
"Nothings changed.." he mumbled to himself as he crept out of the bed.
walking over to the window Thomas overlooked the village and saw that the streets were mostly empty.
"I guess they all really do sleep at this time."
Hearing some voices downstairs, Thomas decided he should better straighten up his tie and hair.
It was about the time his knot was perfect that he heard Charlie at the door "Knockety-Knock-Knock".
Opening the door rather quickly he came face to face with her very closely.
He couldn't help but look into her eyes, as she looked into his.
They were the most unusual shade of red, or perhaps an orange.
He couldn't be sure of the shade, but what he did know was that he had never seen such soft, pure eyes.
When she asked him about his nap it snapped him out of his stare.
"My nap?.. Oh, oh yeas," he replied before turning his head and clearing his throat.
"My nap was good." He explained rather coyly.
As he was dragged down the stairs he nearly couldn't keep up and almost fell flat on his face along the way down.
As Charlie began to prepare her sandwich Thomas picked up one of his own.
"Wow, I love tomatoes," He shouted like a dope, after taking a bite.
Trying to save face he explained " What I meant to say is that these are very good, so ripe, and pesticide free."
