Alex is much smaller than her brother in comparison. She is the average height for a female but when standing side by side with Liam, he towers over her. But her height is not something that people look past when they look at her. Instead, they focus on her sometimes golden eyes and her warm smile. They look at the freckles that’s scatter across her cheeks and nose and wonder if her body plays connect-the-dots anywhere else. Although she is small and slim, Alex is stronger than what she appears and enjoys working out in order to stay strong.

Her style is something that is brought on by her personality, which also strengthens her personality. Alex is an outgoing girl, unlike her brother who is more conservative and dresses as such, Alex has a variety of clothes and clothing style that is representative of how she feels that day. Alex believes you dress how you feel and if you look good you feel good.

      ✦ Outgoing ✧ Trustworthy ✦ Friendly ✧ Enthusiastic ✦
      ✦ Adventurous ✧ Outspoken ✦ Honest ✧ Charismatic ✦
      ✦ Blunt ✧ Loud ✦ Reckless ✧ Impulsive ✦
      ✦ Disorganized ✧ Disobedient ✦ Irresponsible ✧ Abrasive ✦

Alex is a little different than her brother… well, actually, Alex is a lot different than her brother. She never understood the concept of keeping to herself because she was so outgoing. She was never as quiet as her introvert brother. She’s just as kind but she has an easier time making friends, mostly because she actually goes out looking for friends to make. She doesn’t like sitting still in one place for too long and constantly feels the need to get up and go do something. Alex has a sense of adventure that can sometimes get her into trouble. Alex is quite impulsive and rarely thinks out her actions. She’s the type of girl who enjoys taking risks and will always jump in head first into anything she does. Some may say she’s just determined, motivated, Liam thinks she’s too risky, too reckless, too irresponsible.

The thing about Alex that sets her aside from most others is that she doesn’t really care to censor herself. She hates that people are always trying to tell her what to do because they think they know better for her. Alex is strong believer in independence and refuses to believe that anyone other than herself knows best for herself, and that includes Liam. She’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind and more often than not she’s offending someone because of her brutal honestly. She has very little boundaries and even those have a thin line between acceptable and not. She’s stronger than she looks, and she’s stronger than what people think of her. Most people ee a little weak-minded girl who’s too immature to understand the world around her but she’s seen enough hurt within her own life that she understands more than what people think of her. That’s why she’s a risk taker – she doesn’t want the negatives of the world stop her from doing what she likes or doing what she wants so she does those things anyway and no amount of reckless behavior infractions she receives from her brother or persons of authority will stop her. Alex thinks life is too short to not do what you want to do and she won’t let anything get in her way.

Alex likes to live her life the way she likes and she hates always having someone, like Liam or her parents, breathing down her neck constantly telling her what to do and how to do it. She absolutely despises living the shadows, of her brother specifically. She wants to be able to go about her life, to learn the things she’s supposed to learn, and to create a life of her own without having to worry about someone peering over her shoulder to let her know “that’s not how Liam did it.” She never understood the concept of having to be exactly like Liam, so she’s constantly fighting about it. She’s a fighter. She refuses to conform. She’s been called abrasive by her parents but it’s not that she is harsh, or has no consideration for others – it’s more a matter of her wanting to step out of that darkness and create for her a name that will not be attached to anything or anyone. She hates that everyone sees her as dependent of Liam because she’s done everything she can to step away from that.

Aside from her ‘abrasive’ nature, Alex is pretty good about staying on people’s good sides or getting new friends. She doesn’t really have boundaries in the sense that she doesn’t know when to stop before it’s too late but that’s mostly because of her enthusiastic nature. She’s excited about life, and in that she is still naïve. She has not yet seen just how bad life can get and the amount of hurt she has been through is nothing to the extent that would change her positive outlook on life around her. She is still a happy and friendly girl. But that is truly what she is – a girl. She’s not yet a woman. She makes friends easily with her kind and open nature but she has a hard time keeping those friends at times. Not entirely by fault of her own, mostly because she’

H I S T O R Y

The family moved to Connecticut after running from state to state trying to escape the government’s harassment. They attempted to live as normally as possible. The kids were not allowed to use their powers outside of the house and was to tell no one about these abilities. Upon moving to their current home in Connecticut, Dee and James had a training center created in the basement of their large home so their children could train safely. As the two grew older, both parents knew that their children needed more than what they could offer and thus Liam and Alex went to train at the center known as “the outskirts of the world.”

When Liam was 4 years old, his younger sister Alex, was introduced to the family. Liam had already been exhibiting signs of his ability for some time. When he was an infant, whenever he would throw a temper tantrum, objects around the house would begin floating and flying overhead. The Herrings were concerned by this and had no idea what was happening until they confided in their parents for advice, then they realized this was a genetic strain in their DNA that skipped their generation but rose in their children. So by the time little Alex was born, the parents were curious to learn whether or not their daughter would also hold the gene. She too exhibited signs when she was just an infant. From there, the family began stressing the importance of keeping this a family secret and training their children in order to keep them safe and to teach them how to properly use their ability. James’ mother helped the family train the kids from a young age and has gone on to help other gifted children as well.

His feet hit the pavement hard with each step. His heel touched down, then his toes followed, then his entire foot was off the ground as the other foot followed its steps. His breathing was centered and his eyes focused on the road ahead of him. The beads of sweat that dripped down his forehead, narrowly escaping his eyes, hit the ground with each pounding step. He ran with no destination. Miles of land lay ahead of him and he planned on running most of it. Liam ran to escape the world around him. He was an escapist in this way. He didn’t like confronting people, or his problems, so instead he ran to clear his mind. He tried his best to stay in shape and to keep his training up. He started training with his parents and grandmother at a young age and as he got older, he didn’t slow down. He always brought Alex along because he felt that without him, she wouldn’t do anything.

He slowed his run to a jog and occasionally peeked over his shoulder to see if Alex was keeping up. He’d slow down to her pace and jog next to her until she sped up a little. And when her pace stayed the same, he’d get behind her and push a little. Alex would complain every time. “Liam, cut it out!” Liam would stop pushing at her back and jog beside her again. “Well if you hurried the hell up, I wouldn’t have to push you everywhere, Alex!” Alex would huff and puff at Liam, but to him it made no difference what the hell was coming out of her mouth. He just wanted her to be properly trained. Liam ran ahead of Alex and called back out to her. “Let’s go Alex. Pick it up.”

Alex groaned as her brother called out to her, she groaned when he slowed down, and she groaned when he’d push her to make her go faster. Alex was starting to think that all the words in her vocabulary were escaping her and she was only able to make sounds like cavemen once did. She understood that she needed the training and that was why she was in the stupid place to begin with but it frustrated her that Liam was always the one doing the training with her, during her personal hours nonetheless. She wanted to have time for herself. She didn’t want to be stuck with her brother running, she wanted to train her power. She wanted to do what she wanted to do. She wanted to hang out with her friends instead.

Alex jogged slowly behind Liam and when he finally came to a stop, she walked the rest of the way to him. She wasn’t as intense in her training as Liam was, and she was sure that this was the reason Liam had no friends. “Are we done yet?” Liam rolled his eyes at his sister but nodded his head as well. “Yeah dumbass, we’re done. You know, you’re going to have to be able to catch up one day. It’s gonna cost you if you don’t get it together.” Now it was Alex’s turn to roll her eyes. She didn’t respond to her brother. Instead, she turned away from him and started heading back to the building so she could shower and do something other than train with Liam.

After spending most of the morning practicing shifting Stella walked outside and began to stretch her body was tired from working so much but her mind was racing the sun was bright and the sky was clear a perfect day for a quick jog around the grounds. She took off at a slow walk and gradually sped up graduating from a walk to a jog to a full on sprint. As she neared the end of her run Stella could see two figures in the distance, she smiled at I herself, knowing exactly who it was she pushed herself to run faster and as she approached her two friends she shifted forms, she ran up to the brother and sister and stood next to Liam, she smiled at him, even though she looked like him. "So how you two chickens doin?" She smiled quickly shifting back to her usual girly self.
"Hey Alex how's about we leave this pansy and go russel up some grub?" Stella smiled and puffed up her chest acting all tough.

Sebastian woke with a little grumble and groan glancing to his digital clock. He didn't mind his own job he had organized for himself, but it didn't make mornings any easier. Reluctantly, he left his bed to gaze out his window and there was a certain buzz of activity in the air that he looked forward to chiming in on. It was all for the best cause.

There were supernatural children to be trained. Many of them and their powers had extraordinary potential. Some of them weren't prepared for the real field as based on the illusions he would induce on them. It would either come down to a lack of mental coping, power execution or unity. Primarily unity. That needed much polishing. But he didn't feel confident in gathering them all to speak of ,if they faced the real deal - a wendigo for instance. The clever, quick cannibalistic creature would have a feast of them because they'd work as individuals and not a team. That wasn't entirely an uplifting appropriate speech to inspire or correct errors.

He served himself some breakfast in the kitchen area then strolled to the training room to prepare what obstacle he might offer for them today. Whatever it was, he knew it had to exert some mental capacity as well as physical energy and of course work their powers. Sebastian brushed through the doors of the empty room, ideally used for the training sessions that included power usage.

It was routine for him to eye every corner of what room he entered and hoped to spend some time in. A silly gesture for peace of mind but when he spotted two figures. As he focused he identified the two eager students. "Charlotte. Jin. Haven't you better things to do?" He said in light-heart with a smile. Sebastian didn't mind their presence at all. He plucked at his slice of toast. "Have either of you at least had breakfast?" He asked casually, dusting the crumbs from his fingers onto his plate.

He didn't want them swept away in training their powers already when he had an exercise planned.

For once, Tyler was up and about with a spring in his heel for a morning. And he was feeling genuinely good as far as morning standards went. On his own run, he passed the Herring siblings in a blur and smirked to himself while they bickered in the good old sibling fashion. Tyler could not imagine running at such a normal pace and puffing in the process or even having to hold such determination to conquer the distance as Liam. It was something rarely experienced for him.

Tyler imagined it would suck to have to train in fitness. The thought made him more thankful for his gifts. He still insisted his own runs were exercise and counted towards productivity, just less challenging so he didn't have to do weight-lifting exercises. He had already previously made the mistake in claiming there wasn't any fitness training for him to really do...

Then he spotted Evonne, frowned and followed her. She made him worry sometimes with her recent love of business so it was an obligation. He flashed pass and knocked his elbow into the man's head that stalked towards the red head. He had seen her run into the room. "Come on Evie." He said gently, with his eyes focused on the down man.
